Cassie woke up Quinn and Kitty early in the morning. Cassie reminded them of the importance of getting ready for school promptly so they would have enough time to have breakfast and make it to Cheerios practice. However, Kitty was not in the mood to wake up at 5:30 in the morning as it was too early, and the school didn't start until 8:15. Cassie insisted that being a cheerleader came with responsibilities and Kitty had committed to the team. Cassie firmly stated that if Kitty wanted to remain a Cheerio, she needed to get up, get dressed, and attend practice. She warned Kitty that failure to comply would result in consequences such as a sore bottom and an early curfew. Grumpily, Kitty grabbed her Cheerios uniform and headed off to get dressed.
As they got ready for school, Cassie reminded them to take Santana's homework to her teacher. She packed them food for before and after cheer practice, making sure they had everything they needed for the day. They all went downstairs, and Cassie dropped them off at McKinley High. The two blondes hugged and kissed Cassie goodbye and headed into the school building.
After cheer practice, Kitty turned in Santana's homework to their teacher. During school hours, Kitty, Quinn, and Brittany made plans to attend Rachel's party. They knew Shelby wouldn't let them go unsupervised, so they came up with a plan to tell her they were going to Brittany's house first. Mercedes reminded them that their parents would be looking for them at Brittany's house, but Kitty assured them that they wouldn't get caught as long as they kept one of their phones with them at all times. Quinn explained that Shelby wouldn't let them go to Rachel's party unsupervised, and they hoped their plan would work out.
Rachel asked if they had seen Santana, but she was staying at home with Shelby, and she was grounded for a month for getting in trouble in school. They all knew that Santana's mouth got her into more trouble, and she didn't know when to keep it shut when she was in deep trouble with Shelby and Cassie. Kurt walked up to them, asking if they were ready to beat the other teams at Sectionals tomorrow.
Kitty informed the group that they had the best singers and dancers on their team, and they could beat their parents' team despite having the former Broadway star, Cassandra, as their choreographer teacher. They all agreed that Santana's absence was felt on the team, but they needed to focus on the upcoming Sectionals. Puck tried to convince them to bring Santana back to the team, but Kitty advised him to forget it as Santana was not returning to New Directions.
In the end, they all agreed to celebrate their victory or defeat by having a party together at Rachel's house tomorrow.
They went to glee club practice to rehearse and choreograph. Finn and Rachel will be doing a duet on "Endless Love," while Sam and Quinn will be performing "I'd Do Anything for Love." The last song New Directions will be performing is "Don't Stop Believing."
Mr. Schuester dismissed everyone, and everyone left the auditorium. Shelby picked up Quinn and Kitty, and they got in the backseat. They said hello and got in the car, hugging the older brunette. Shelby asked them how their day at school went. Both of them said good. Santana scoffed, looking out of the window, "I don't know why you didn't let me stay at home by myself. I didn't want you to stay at home by yourself being bored. I know you were going to use the opportunity to get your electronic devices I've locked up."
"I have already told you and Mama the truth about what happened, and it is not fair that I am still being punished," the younger brunette exclaimed confidently.
"Your behavior towards your classmate was unacceptable, Tiger," Shelby replied in a calm tone.
"I know, and I promise to do better. You and Mama will see it, and when I do, I will get my things back," the younger brunette stated confidently.
"We will see when the time comes, Tiger," the older brunette patted her knee. She noticed Quinn's silence and asked, "Is everything okay, Quinn?"
"Yes, everything's great. I was just letting the girls know that we will be at Brittany's party tonight, either with you or Cassie, will take us" Quinn replied with confidence.
Santana rolled her eyes, while Kitty kept glancing nervously at her phone.
"Don't worry, everything is under control. Shelby, what time will Cassie be home?" Kitty asked, trying to ease the tension.
"She'll be home by 5 pm," Shelby replied. "What time does the party start?" she asked.
"6:30," Quinn replied.
"Excellent, we'll leave here at 5 or 5:15 pm, so I want you both to be ready by then. Understood?" Shelby said assertively.
"Yes, ma'am!" both blondes replied in unison with confidence.
As they pulled into the driveway, Shelby confidently parked the car and led the way toward the house. After unlocking the front door, they all went inside. After unlocking the front door, Shelby gestured for the three teenagers to enter first. Once they finished their homework, the trio retired to Quinn's room to talk in private.
"Listen up, you two. If they find out you're lying about where you're going, you're going to be in big trouble. I know for a fact that the party is going to be at Rachel's, not Britt-Britt's house. If you get caught, Kitty will just get grounded for two weeks without her electronics, but Quinn will face severe punishment," don't say I told you so when it happens Santana warned with a tone of unwavering confidence.
Quinn, Santana, and Kitty are discussing attending a party that they know they should not be going to. Quinn is worried about getting caught and facing the consequences, while Kitty is more concerned about Santana's safety as she no longer attends the school. However, Santana is not concerned and firmly believes that it won't affect her. Despite their differing opinions, Quinn confidently peeps out of the doorway while keeping their voices low to avoid getting caught. Despite Kitty's warning about getting into trouble, Quinn remains determined to carry on.
"I'm not worried, K. We've got this. I'm not backing out of our plan," Quinn says with confidence.
Santana snickers and tries to dissuade them, "Yeah, right! You two dummies are going to get caught red-handed. Mom's got parental control on our cell phones. She'll know if we're up to no good."
But Quinn is unfazed by Santana's taunts and responds with even more conviction, "Don't worry, Santana. We've got everything under control. We won't get caught trust me.
"Both of your plans are lame," Santana remarked to Q and K. "How do you plan on pulling this off? I know for sure that neither of you will be present at Britt Britt's house."
"I was thinking that's where you come in," Kitty said hesitantly, "by keeping our phones at Britt's house, we won't get busted and have to worry about getting a spanking from either of them."
"Kitty, you don't know them too well," San said confidently, placing her hand on the girl's shoulder. "They're going to call you at least four times, and you have to be on the phone with Mom and Mama. Don't think you can outsmart them, which is what you and Q are trying to do. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad for you two to get busted and have trouble sitting down during Selections' tomorrow. It will be a sight to see," she said laughing.
"Don't be so mean, S," Quinn said, acknowledging Santana's, but trying to tone down her meanness.
Quinn tried to ease Santana's hostility by acknowledging her harsh words and requesting her to be less aggressive. Quinn understood that Santana was attempting to alert them to potential issues, but her approach appeared overly aggressive.
Santana defended herself by stating that she was just being honest and cautioned them all that things could go wrong. She reminded Quinn that she didn't have a car to get to Britt Britt's house, which could create problems. Despite the tension, the group remained polite and attempted to find a solution to the problem.
"Maybe we can get Puck or Mercedes to lend us their phones or just leave them at Britt's house and go to the party," Kitty proposed, looking at the other two girls.
"It might work," Quinn said. "We'll leave Rachel's house by 10:30, and they won't expect a thing."
"Guys, you're wrong," Santana asserts. "I'm not getting involved in this scheme. What we need to do is find out if there's going to be another party."
"Of course, there is," Kitty chimes in. "It's at Rachel's house tomorrow."
"Perfect," Quinn declares. "We just need to figure out how to ask them if we can go or invite the glee club to our house. They won't turn us down when it comes to a celebration. We can have our party with family and friends and then head over to Rachel's later. It's a win-win situation.
Quinn was sitting on her bed, staring at the wall and lost in her thoughts, when Santana's voice broke through her reverie. "Quinn, you might be on to something. They can't say no to us. We will have a celebration tomorrow. You can invite anyone you want," she said, flashing a grin at Quinn.
Quinn looked up at Santana, a small smile creeping up on her face. She nodded in agreement, "Yeah, that sounds great. I'll invite some of our friends over after I ask them."
Just then, they heard Shelby's voice calling them down for dinner. They quickly made their way downstairs, and Shelby raised an eyebrow as she watched the trio walking down the stairs. They took their usual seats at the table, and Shelby sat down beside Santana. They all began to fill their plates with the delicious spread that Shelby had prepared.
As they all sat around the table eating, Cassie walked in, fresh from washing her hands in the kitchen. She greeted everyone warmly, and as she took her seat, she joined in the lively conversation. The room was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere, and it was clear that everyone was enjoying themselves. For Quinn, it was a special evening spent with family who truly cared about her, and she felt grateful for the experience.
As the meal progressed, Cassie turned to the two blonde cheerleaders and asked if they were excited about the party they were attending that evening. The girls responded with enthusiasm, and then Quinn spoke up, asking if they could invite some of their friends from the glee club over the next day for the celebration party that Cassie had planned.
Cassie considered the request for a moment and then replied that she didn't see why not. It seemed like a great idea to have even more friends over to celebrate, and everyone at the table agreed that it would be a fantastic way to continue the festivities. As they all enjoyed their meal, they chatted and laughed, looking forward to the fun and excitement that the next day would bring.
In the upcoming chapter, Quinn and Kitty attend Rachel's party, but someone gets into trouble. The following day is Sectionals. Who do you think will take first and second place?
