On a typical Saturday morning, Shelby and Cassie wake up at 8 o'clock to start their day. They are both early birds as they have a lot to do during the day. Shelby and Cassie have four teenage girls living with them, and the first task of the day is to prepare breakfast for them. They both love cooking and enjoy making delicious meals for the girls.
As they get ready to whip up a delicious breakfast, Shelby and Cassie discuss the menu and divide the tasks between themselves. Shelby starts preparing the pancakes, while Cassie gets started on the scrambled eggs. They both work in harmony as they know each other's strengths and weaknesses when it comes to cooking. They chat while they cook, discussing their plans for the weekend and their upcoming projects.
Rachel was the first one to wake up that morning, and she went into the kitchen to join Shelby and Cassie. Rachel is a bright and chirpy young girl who is always in a good mood. She sat on the stool and said hello to them, thanking them for letting her stay with them until her parents come back. Shelby and Cassie were happy to have Rachel staying with them, but they were initially hesitant because of a previous incident involving her and San. They didn't want any drama or tension in the house, but they decided to give Rachel a chance and help her out.
Despite their initial reservations, Shelby and Cassie were glad that Rachel had settled in well and become part of their family. Rachel is a helpful and responsible girl who helps them out in the kitchen.
Rachel had a conversation with Cassie and Shelby, in which she reassured them that she wouldn't be any trouble during her stay with them. She also mentioned that she had recently spoken with Santana about an incident that had occurred between them a few months ago. During the conversation, both Rachel and Santana apologized to each other, and Rachel was happy to report that things were now good between them.
Cassie expressed her happiness and relief at hearing this news, and thanked Rachel for taking the initiative to resolve any lingering issues. She then informed Rachel that after breakfast, they would have a discussion about the house rules and that Rachel's name would be added to the chores list. Cassie wanted to make sure that everyone was on the same page and that the house ran smoothly for everyone's benefit.
As they waited for breakfast, Rachel helped Cassie and Shelby set the table, while Quinn walked downstairs with a book in her hand. A minute later, Kitty entered the kitchen and joyfully greeted everyone around her with a warm and cheerful "Good morning". The people around her reciprocated her friendly gesture with equal enthusiasm. Then Cassie asked Kitty whether her sister was up yet. Kitty responded with a giggle, indicating that she knew her sister well, and that San wouldn't leave her bed until 9 AM. She added that San was deeply in love with her pillow and was most likely snuggled up to it at that moment.
Just as everyone was about to sit down at the table for breakfast, Kitty called out to Rachel, asking her to wait for a moment. She then suggested that Rachel could sit beside Santana, while her sister always sat beside their mom. Rachel apologized for the confusion and quickly moved to the other seat beside Santana, feeling grateful for Kitty's thoughtful and inclusive gesture.
The family gathered around the dining table for breakfast. Shelby, expressed her gratitude towards Kit, who had clarified something to Rachel in a polite and respectful manner. Shelby admired Kit's approach towards Rachel, and thanked her for it. Meanwhile, their mom, who was already at the table, poured a tall glass of refreshing orange juice for everyone. Just then, Santana, , walked in and greeted the family warmly with a cheerful "good morning." After exchanging pleasantries, she pulled out a chair and started fixing her plate with the delicious breakfast spread laid out on the table. As they ate and chatted, the atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter, making it a perfect start to the day.
Shelby and Cassie had just finished their breakfast when they decided to have a private chat with Rachel in the office. They wanted to discuss household chores, and Shelby took out her planner to make a plan. She asked Rachel if she had any experience with chores, to which Rachel replied, "I just tidy up my room."
Shelby and Cassie agreed to start with tidying up Rachel and Quinn's room first. Then, on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, Rachel would be assigned to the dishwashing duty along with Quinn, as Cassie suggested. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, Santana and Kitty would take over the dishwashing duty, and on some days, they would switch it up.
Shelby wanted to ensure that Rachel was okay with the plan, so she asked her if she was comfortable with it. Rachel replied affirmatively, showing her agreement.
Cassie informed Rachel about the laundry routine in the house. She advised Rachel to place her soiled clothes in a hamper and leave it outside her bedroom door every Friday, which is the designated laundry day. Shelby and Cassie, being the kind and considerate Mothers that they are, would collect the hamper and wash Rachel's clothes. Once the clothes were clean, they would be placed downstairs, where Rachel Santana, Kitty, and Quinn could retrieve them and put them away.
On the weekends, the Corcoran-July had a movie night, and the girls were allowed to choose the movie they wanted to watch. However, Quinn and Kit were currently grounded, so they would not be joining in for the next two weeks. It would be Shelby, San, Cass, and Rachel who would enjoy the movie nights together. Shelby shared this news with a smile on her face, indicating that she was looking forward to spending time with her family.
"Absolutely! Cassie we always like to spend one-on-one time with each girl on Saturdays, but I proposed adding Rachel to our plan, and everyone's excited about it! When Rachel expressed concern about I don't won't to be imposing on my friends' time with their moms. Shelby reassured her, saying, 'You're not opposing anyone, Rachel. Let's do it!' 'Okay, I will do it,' Rachel said confidently.
In the morning, Shelby suggested to Rachel to get dressed and spend some time with her friends. Rachel hugged them and left the office.
Around noon, Santana, Rachel, and Quinn were sitting on the couch while Kitty was sitting on the floor doing a puzzle. Quinn was engrossed in reading her new book while Shelby walked in. She asked Kitty if she was ready to go to the music store and Kitty responded with an enthusiastic yes. She rushed off to put her shoes on while Shelby passed her jacket to her. Shelby then informed the girls that she would see them in a couple of hours and left with Kitty.
Cassie walked into the room with her and Santana's dance bags. She quickly grabbed Santana's jacket and told her to go put her shoes on. Santana left to grab her dance shoes. Cassie turned to Rachel and Quinn and asked if they would be okay for an hour. Both girls nodded in agreement. Rachel then asked Cassie if they could use the karaoke machine to sing, and Cassie agreed. She then kissed both girls on top of their heads and reminded them not to open the door for anyone. Cassie left the house with Santana, leaving Rachel and Quinn to enjoy their karaoke session.
Quinn put her book down and decided to fix a sandwich for herself and Rachel. While they were eating, Rachel started singing on the karaoke machine, and they both enjoyed the performance for a while. Later, they went to their room, where they spent time doing each other's hair and makeup. It was a fun and relaxing evening for both of them.
Shelby and Kitty walked into the music store with excitement and anticipation. Shelby had promised to let Kitty pick out any music of her liking, as long as it didn't have any lyrics in four specific languages, which she was not fond of.
As they walked through the aisles, Kitty tried on a pair of headphones and listened to some of the music, while Shelby patiently waited and watched. They both seemed to be enjoying each other's company and the music that was playing. Finally, after some careful consideration, Kitty made her selection and they both left the store with smiles on their faces get in the car in drive back to the house.
After their dance class, Cassandra and her daughter Santana headed towards the parking lot where Cassandra had parked her car. As they got inside the car, Santana took out a bottle of water from her bag and started drinking while Cassandra started the engine. The car slowly moved out of the parking lot, and Santana changed the radio station to her favorite music channel. After a few minutes of driving, Santana asked her mother if they could stop for dinner at their favorite Italian restaurant.
Cassandra smiled and said, "Of course, we can, Tiger." She turned the car around and started driving towards the restaurant. The drive was short, and soon they reached the restaurant. Cassandra parked the car, and they both got out and walked inside to order their food. Santana was thrilled to be at her favorite restaurant and couldn't wait to enjoy her meal. She picked up a piece of bread and took a bite, relishing the taste of the warm and soft bread.
Cassandra smiled at her daughter and asked the waiter for a glass of water while they waited for their food. They decided to order some food to go as well. While they were waiting for their food, they chatted about Santana's dance class and her plans for the week. Soon their food arrived, and they enjoyed their meals while chatting and laughing. After they finished eating, they paid the bill and left the restaurant, carrying their leftover food in a bag.
As they drove home in the car, Santana couldn't help but ask her mother why she always said no to her whenever she wanted to go to her friend's party. Cassie, her mother, looked at her with a serious expression and explained that she knew there would be alcohol consumption without any parental supervision, which could easily get out of control and attract the attention of the cops. She also added that she had heard almost the entire freshman class would be attending the party and she didn't want Santana to attend and get hurt.
Santana listened carefully to her mother's explanation and finally understood why she wasn't allowed to go to the party. However, she couldn't help but feel left out and wished she could attend the party. Cassie apologized for making Santana feel that way and reassured her that there would be more parties in the future that she could attend with parental supervision.
Santana let out a deep sigh and looked outside the car window, knowing that her mother was only looking out for her safety and well-being.
Cassie drove into the driveway with confidence as she ran her fingers through her daughter Santana's long hair, trying to reassure her that everything was going to be alright. She said in a confident tone, "Don't be sad, Tiger." Santana replied in a low voice, "I'm trying not to be." She stepped out of the car, carrying her dance bag, and Cassie grabbed the food and her own dance bag with confidence. They all entered the house where Shelby, Santana's mother, was walking by. Shelby asked her daughter how her dance class had gone, but Santana just ran to her room. Shelby asked Cassie what was wrong with their child. Cassie confidently explained that Tiger, is sad that she couldn't attend her friend party.
Shelby, a loving and caring mother, recently had a heartfelt conversation with her wife about their children's overall well-being. During their conversation, they both expressed their deep concern for their children and how they are always striving to do what's best for them. As responsible parents, their top priority is to ensure their children's safety and happiness at all times. They discussed various strategies and ideas to create a safe and nurturing environment for their kids, and they both felt relieved and satisfied after the conversation. Overall, they are committed to doing whatever it takes to provide their children with the best possible upbringing and ensure their well-being.
On the other hand, Cassie had a bit of a challenging day. Their daughter had asked her why she couldn't attend her friend's wild party, but they had to decline the invitation. Cassie had to have a difficult conversation with her daughter, explaining why it wasn't a good idea for her to attend the party and why they had to decline the invitation. It was a tough moment for Cassie, but as a responsible parent, she knew that her decision was in the best interest of her daughter's well-being.
Apart from that, on our way back home from our dance class, we stopped by Breadsticks, a local café, to grab a quick bite. We had a lovely conversation while we enjoyed our food, and we even took the leftovers home for all of you to enjoy.
As I sat down to eat, Shelby approached the table with a big smile on her face. She carefully served the food onto our plates and mentioned how her wife has been enjoying spoiling the girls. Cassie, who was sitting beside her, couldn't help but beam with delight at the mention of the girls. "I can't help it, Shells," she said with a smile. "I just love those girls." It was heartwarming to see the joy that the children had brought to their lives, and I felt grateful to be a witness to it.
Later that evening, Quinn visited her younger sister Santana's bedroom and took a seat on the chair. As they chatted, Quinn brought up the idea of sneaking into a party they had heard about. However, Santana was hesitant, worrying that their mother might find out if they called a taxi.
Despite the potential consequences, Quinn persuaded Santana to join her and assured her that they would face any repercussions together. Santana expressed concern about who would cover for them if they were caught, but Quinn proposed that they could enlist the help of their sister Kitty She also reminded Santana that they could keep their secret from their friend Rach, who was unaware that they received spankings as punishment.
Santana and Quinn, the two sisters, were sitting on Santana's bed having a conversation about their plans for the following day. They were both excited because their moms had finally agreed to go on a date after weeks of hesitation. However, they had decided to keep it a secret and not tell anyone just yet.
Quinn, who was still grounded for sneaking out of school last week agreed to keep it quiet and went to bed early. Santana, on the other hand, went downstairs to join Rachel, Shelby, and Cassie for their weekly movie night. Rachel, being the movie buff that she is, picked the movie for the night and chose "Funny Girl". Santana wasn't very enthusiastic about the movie choice but decided to watch it anyway.
As the movie played, Santana sat beside Rachel and Cassie, with Shelby on the other side of Cassie. They all enjoyed the movie and had a great time together. As the end credits rolled, Santana bid goodbye to her friends and went to bed, feeling content.
Meanwhile, their moms were cleaning up downstairs after a lovely evening together. They too were feeling happy and excited about their plans for the future. They headed to their bedroom to get ready for bed, looking forward to what the next day would bring.
