As the sun rose in the sky, casting a warm glow over the Corcoran-July household, Shelby took a refreshing shower and enjoyed a few quiet moments to herself, relishing in the tranquility of the early morning. Once she was done, she made her way downstairs to her cozy study, where she spent some time poring over a variety of brochures and travel guides, carefully considering different options for her family's upcoming vacation. The room was filled with soft light and the gentle hum of her computer as she scrolled through various websites, her mind buzzing with excitement at the prospect of exploring new places and making unforgettable memories with her loved ones.

Santana woke up earlier than usual and made her way down to the kitchen, feeling excited to try out her cooking skills. As she browsed through the pots and pans, her sister Quinn walked in and asked her what she was doing.

"I'm going to make homemade pancakes, the recipe that Nana taught me to bake from scratch, and you're going to help me, Q," Santana said confidently.

Quinn was hesitant at first, but eventually agreed to help out in the kitchen. "Sure, I guess I can help you out, and I'll cook the bacon," she said.

Santana grinned, feeling grateful for her sister's support. She quickly grabbed all of the ingredients she needed for her pancakes and began mixing them together, while Quinn started cooking the bacon on the stove. Together, they worked in harmony, each one doing their part to create a delicious breakfast feast.

As Quinn and Santana bustled around in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for everyone, Kitty sauntered in, looking around the room with a curious expression. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the countertop, which was cluttered with eggs, baking powder, cooking oil, and bacon. She couldn't help but ask what was going on, her eyebrows raised inquisitively.

"What are you guys doing?" Kitty inquired, her gaze darting between the two busy chefs. "Do Moms know you're in here making a big mess?" she added, surveying the scene with a mixture of amusement and concern.

"No, they don't," Quinn replied, without looking up from the task at hand. "But don't worry, we're going to clean it all up after breakfast. We just wanted to surprise everyone with a delicious meal this morning." Santana nodded in agreement, a mischievous grin on her face as she flipped a pancake expertly.

Kitty chuckled, her concern melting away as she watched the two girls work together in the kitchen. "Well, I hope it's worth it," she said, grabbing a seat at the table. "Because I'm starving!

Santana was standing by the stove, flipping the pancakes over with a spatula. Quinn, who was standing nearby, grabbed the sausages and placed them on the griddle to cook. Just then, Rachel walked in and informed them that Cassie was walking their way and might freak out if she saw the mess in the kitchen. Rachel's concern was understandable, considering that the kitchen was a bit messy with pots and pans lying around. However, Santana reassured them that it was worth it, meaning that all the effort and mess in the kitchen would pay off once they had their delicious breakfast. Rachel was surprised by Kit response and shared her own initial reaction to the messy kitchen, which was the same as Cassie's.

Cassie walked into the kitchen and was taken aback by the sight of her two daughters, Santana and Quinn, making a total mess of the place. She couldn't help but ask them, "What in the God's name you two girls are doing in my kitchen making a huge mess?" Santana, the younger of the two, quickly replied, "We're going to surprise you with breakfast, Mama!" She then turned off the griddle, after making a dozen pancakes. Quinn, the older one, chimed in, "Yes, we are going to clean up the kitchen after breakfast, so you don't have to worry about a thing."

Cassie was both proud and worried at the same time. She knew her girls were old enough to be able to cook, but the thought of them being in the kitchen unsupervised and possibly burning the house down was a concern. "I know you girls are old enough to cook, but we don't want all of you to burn down the house, Cassie," she said, with a hint of humor in her voice.

As she called out to her daughters Santana and Quinn to come and help set the table, she couldn't help but add a touch of drama to her voice. Santana, however, was quick to recognize her mother's theatrics and responded with a snort, "You're being dramatic, Mama."

Cassie couldn't help but smile at her daughter's sassiness, and replied with a chuckle, "It's just my personality, dear."

As they began to set the table, Cassie asked Kit to go and fetch the water and orange juice from the fridge and bring it to the table. She then turned to the shorter brunette, Rachel, and asked her to go and fetch Shelby, so they could all sit down and enjoy their meal together.

As they waited for Shelby to arrive, Cassie and Santana continued to chat and laugh, while Kit arranged the cutlery and glasses on the table. Finally, Shelby arrived, and they all gathered around the table to enjoy the delicious meal that Santana and Quinn had prepared with so much love and care.

After they finished their meal, Quinn and Santana quickly cleaned up the kitchen and went to the living room to relax. They heard their mom, Shelby, say that there would be a family meeting at 5 pm in the family room.

Later in the day, Shelby gathered her daughters and wife together for the family meeting. She wanted to discuss their plans for an upcoming family vacation and make sure everyone was on board with the idea. The family of seven was excited to hear about the potential trip and eagerly awaited more details.

As they sat together, Shelby explained that she was considering two different options for their vacation. The first option was a ski resort, where they could enjoy various winter sports and activities together as a family. The second option was somewhere warmer, where they could relax and have fun in the sun. She wanted to ensure that the whole family would have a great time, so she asked her daughters for their input on which option they preferred.

Kitty, one of the daughters, was curious about the potential destinations and asked her mom where they were planning to go. Shelby explained that they hadn't decided yet and wanted to hear what everyone thought before making a decision. This led to a brief discussion among the family members. Rachel and Kitty were interested in the ski resort option, while Quinn and Santana preferred a warm location.

Since the family was split on their preferences, the parents had to weigh their options carefully before making a final decision. They spent the rest of the day researching vacation spots and planning out their itinerary for their upcoming adventure. They checked out different ski resorts and their amenities, as well as warm locations with beaches and other attractions. They took into account everyone's preferences and interests to ensure that the vacation would be enjoyable for everyone.

Finally, after much research and discussion, they made a decision. They would go to a warm location with beaches, where they could relax and have fun in the sun. The family was thrilled with the decision and started packing and planning for the trip. They made reservations for flights, accommodations, and activities, and created an itinerary that would allow them to fully enjoy their vacation. It was clear that this family vacation was going to be a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

As Shelby and Cassie were getting ready for their long-awaited date, they heard a knock on the door. To their surprise, it was their children friend Rachel, who had come to ask if Kurt could come over to visit while they were out. Cassie politely informed Rachel that Kurt could not come over at the moment, as Quinn and Kitty were grounded. However, Cassie suggested that Rachel could instead go to Kurt's house.

Rachel agreed to the plan and took out her phone to call Kurt. She wanted to inform him about the change in plans and arrange for his father to pick her up. As Rachel stepped out of the room to make her phone call, Shelby and Cassie resumed getting ready for their date, excited to spend some quality time together.

Downstairs in their Mama dance studio room, three teenage girls, Santana, Kitty, and Quinn, were preparing to work on a new dance routine. The room was filled with mirrors, ballet barres, and a large dance floor that took up most of the space. The girls could feel the excitement building inside of them as they stretched their legs to warm up while Santana put on some music to set the mood. The beat of the music flowed through the room, and the girls began to move their bodies in sync with it.

Just then, their mother Shelby walked in and informed them that they would be leaving for the night. She explained that Rachel was going to Kurt's place, and they would be late coming home. Shelby told her daughters not to wait up for them and to go to bed at a reasonable time. The three teenagers agreed to Shelby's request and gave their mothers a quick kiss goodbye, wishing them a great date.

Once they left, the trio got to work on perfecting their dance routine. They spent the next few hours practicing and refining their moves, making sure every step was in sync with the music. As the night wore on, the girls felt their energy levels start to dip, but they pushed through, determined to get their routine just right. Finally, after several hours of practice, they were satisfied with their progress, and they left the studio feeling accomplished and exhausted

Cassie wanted to do something special for her wife, so she decided to treat her to a romantic movie. After the movie, they went to an expensive restaurant just the two of them, without any distractions from their children. As they enjoyed their meal, they discussed Rachel's predicament in great detail, exploring different options and strategies to help her. They talked about the challenges Rachel was facing and how they could support her through this difficult time. Despite the seriousness of the situation, they were able to have a meaningful and enjoyable evening together.

Shelby and Cassie arrived home at 10:30 pm after a long day out. As they entered the house, they made sure to be as quiet as possible so as not to wake anyone up. They walked up the stairs and checked in on Quinn, who was already in bed reading with her lamp on. Shelby sat down on the bed and gently told Quinn to go to sleep, kissed her goodnight, and then turned off the lamp, making sure the room was dark enough for Quinn to fall asleep. Cassie then walked out of Santana's bedroom and informed Shelby that Tiger was already asleep while she had been listening to music on her laptop. Shelby was glad to hear that and felt relieved that all the kids were sound asleep. She then went to Kit's room and found that she was also fast asleep, with her teddy bear tightly held to her chest. Shelby smiled and gave Kit a goodnight kiss, whispering that she loved her, before leaving the room, making sure to close the door quietly behind her.

Just as they were about to head to their own rooms, Rachel, the next eldest of the kids, came home. She greeted them in the hallway, telling them goodnight. Shelby took the opportunity to tell Rachel that she wanted to talk to her after school tomorrow and hugged her tightly. Rachel smiled and nodded, looking forward to their chat. With that, Shelby and Cassie bid Rachel goodnight and headed to their respective rooms, feeling grateful for the peaceful end to their day.
