Timeline: After Sephiroth vs Vergil
Renamon is meditating in the center of a forest. She can fear feel the wind go through her fur. As well as the bird resting on her head. The Kitsune Digimon has decided the city life was too chaotic for her liking so she moved here. Now away from the humans, she is finally at peace.
"RENAMON!"
"And there it goes." Renamon opens her eyes to see a fellow fox. "What do you want Naruto?"
"Glad I found you." Naruto Uzumaki sits next to Renamon.
"Again, what do you want?"
"Sheesh..." Naruto mutters at her straight forward question. "And I thought Sasuke was antisocial."
Naruto rubs the back of his head and smiles at Renamon. "You looked lonely when you left the hotel. I wanted to hang out with you."
"Do what you wish." Renamon closes her eyes. The fox like characters have hanged out for awhile and Renamon isn't the type to admit it but she enjoys his company.
"Great find. The forest is beautiful. I can tell it's going to be safe with you around." Naruto said as he holds out his hand and the bird leaps off Renamon and onto the Hokage's palm. He chuckles as she opens her eyes again to watch the spectacle. That is until a tree tumbles next to them and the bird gets spooked. It flies away as both get up to face the figure walking towards them.
"What do you want Vergil? I can tell you didn't come to meditate."
The son of Sparda stands in front of Naruto and Renamon and flicks his hair back.
"When I heard you come to this forest, I saw my chance to create a new weapon." Vergil said as he points Yamato at Naruto, who has an idea what he wants.
"Hey buddy, Kurama isn't a demon and you're not getting him!"
Vergil simply looks down at the Hokage and unsheathes his blade. "You are a fool if you think I can't turn him into a weapon."
Naruto creates Shadow Clones while Renamon creates Ghost Clones that surround Vergil.
"This doesn't concern you Digimon." Vergil glares at Renamon, seeing she is about intervene in his capture of Naruto and Kurama.
"Naruto Uzumaki is my friend. You mess with him, you mess with me."
Naruto is touched by her words. "Ah! Thanks buddy."
"Don't call me that."
Renamon and Naruto runs at Vergil, who becomes a blur and slices the clones. Naruto ducks a slice while Renamon jumps above the Half-Demon and goes for a kick. Only for a space sword to come towards her and barely dodges it by the fur.
The 7th Hokage creates a Rasengan and tries to hit Vergil, who summons Beowulf and uppercuts Naruto. Sending him flying in the air. Renamon grabs Naruto and spins in the air, throwing him towards Vergil.
He goes Kurama Mode and slams a Rasenshuriken into Vergil but he blocks it by going Devil Trigger. He cuts Naruto over a thousand times.
"Naruto!" Renamon shouts as she watches Naruto collapses thanks to the Judgement Cut. Luckily Naruto uses Healing Jutsu to repair the cuts. Renamon appears in front of Vergil and rapidly Palm Strikes him. Naruto gets up and creates another Shadow Clone. Both kicks Vergil in the air and both has their hands out, allowing Renamon to jump off them with flames appearing on her fists. She punches Vergil and he crashes down. Vergil gets up and rubs the rubble off him and scoffs.
"Nice try foxes." Vergil rains down blades on both of them. Both try to dodge but some hit them. While Naruto is pinned down, Renamon falls to her knees thanks to two of the blades hitting her feet.
Vergil walks to Naruto and puts his hand on Naruto's Jinchuriki Seal. He delves into Naruto's Mindscape and sees Kurama glare at this Half-Demon for hurting his friend, trying to steal him and turn him into a weapon.
"You damn brat! Don't think you can get away with hurting Naruto!" He swings down but Vergil disappears in a flash and slices Kurama's claw and hand off his body.
Vergil uses his Beowulf gauntlets to punch Kurama to the ground. He grabs Kurama by the snout, ready to turn him into a Devil Arms.
That is when he sense something coming towards him outside the mindscape. Reacting quickly, Vergil leaves the mindscape and spins his katana to block the sharpened leaves coming towards him. Renamon curses to herself that the Diamond Storm hit but it worked to get Vergil out of Naruto's mind.
Waking up, Naruto creates a Rasengan and strikes Vergil with his back turned. Flying towards Renamon, she performs a Swift Chop that hits Vergil true.
Vergil powers down his Devil Trigger and fixes his hair.
Naruto and Renamon stand together against Vergil. That is when the 7th Hokage feels something appear on his hand. He looks down to see a Digivice in his hand. "Is this..?"
"So you are my partner? Very well." Renamon sees the device and accepts having Naruto as her Tamer.
"Lets do this partner!" He activates the Digivice and Renamon turns to light.
"Renamon! Digivolve to Kyubimon!" A giant fox with nine tails appears alongside Naruto. He pounds his fist together and activates Six Paths Sage Mode.
"Hmph." Seeing these forms doesn't concern Vergil. All three become blurs. Vergil blocking and slashing at the foxes while Naruto and Kyubimon attacks with Rasengans and Ghost Fire.
The forest becomes half barren from the battle.
Vergil dodges a Rasengan and stabs Naruto only for it to poof away. Revealing he is a clone.
"Dragon Wheel!" A giant blue dragon fires out of Kyubimon's tails and strikes Vergil. This distracts Vergil enough for the real Naruto to complete his Rasenshuriken and fling it at Vergil, sending him flying out of the forest. It creates a large explosion in the air, seemingly disintegrating Vergil.
Kyubimon transforms back into Renamon. Naruto has his fist out in front of Renamon with a big smile. She sighs and fistbumps her new Tamer. Perhaps he will be a great partner.
A portal appears inside the Villain Pub and Vergil steps out with injuries. Luckily he was able to escape before the Rasenshuriken exploded. Lex looks up from his drink and looks at the limbing Half-Demon.
"I'm guessing that Kyubi hunt didn't go well."
"Shut it Luthor." Vergil murmurs as he sits on the bar and orders a drink from bartender Vader.
