Surge wants to look her best for Amy, because of course she does. She takes forever and wakes up early to get ready. Obviously not waking up Kit. Surge makes sure that she looks as good as she can. She doesn't know why she did it but it feels right. Surge wants to. So when Amy eventually does come she seems floored at how Surge looks and Surge feels happy and knows that it was worth it.

"Wow… Surge… you look… good" Amy somehow manages to stammer out, a big red blush on her face. Surge doesn't know what that means but it seemingly means something good. As Amy is floored and can barely get anything out. Of course eventually she gets over it.

"C'mon Pinky, you look just as good" Surge says, which makes Amy blush even harder. But again, Amy gets over it, quicker this time and the two leave for their outing.

Amy has enough money but mainly wants an excuse to hang out with Surge. Her appearance confirmed her feelings. Amy thinks that she has a crush on Surge, which she thinks is becoming way more obvious than it has any right to be. She wants to push it down. That's what she does with most of her crushes, after all. Surge herself somehow doesn't realize that she also has a crush on Amy and thinks that Amy is a really close friend that she enjoys hanging out with. Which might be true, but all the feelings she's feeling is romance.

So while Amy is a blushing mess, Surge is blissfully unaware of her feelings. The two go around a park side with a view of a lake. Amy, of course, had the bright idea of visiting a fortune teller. Now, she regrets it as her feelings will be on paper. So she kicks herself as still suggesting it and Surge living the idea. She couldn't say no to that face, and she also suggested it so it would be weird to say no to it now. So Amy goes with Surge to the booth. They are greeted with a woman in a robe. Who has a crystal ball in front of her.

"Welcome, I've been expecting you."

"Really?" Amy smiles at Surge's reaction. Sure Amy believes in this stuff but this is obviously one to make a profit, right?

"Well, let's see what the ball has to offer, please, sit down." The fortune teller says Amy and Surge sit down. Surge is extremely antsy, while Amy attempts to remain calm.

"I see… well it looks like, I see you two in the future…" Amy's eyes pop out of her head, while Surge gets even more excited.

"You two are still together after all this time." The fortune teller says with a smile. Surge bounces up and down while Amy gets a big red blush on her face.

"Hear that Pinky, we're gonna be together forever!" She grabs Amy into a hug, which makes the poor girl blush even redder.

"Glad to hear you're happy." The fortune teller says to Surge.

"Thank fortune teller lady!" Surge says and Amy silently gives her some money before she and Surge go out of the booth.

"Glad I could be of assistance." The fortune teller says with a smile.

The two continue to walk around. Well more like Surge runs around and Amy attempts to stop her from plowing into pedestrians.

"Wow, what's that?" Surge stops dead in her tracks.

"Twinkle Park, you like theme parks?" Surge immediately turns to Amy, smile, then runs full speed with her. Amy attempts to tell her something but she doesn't listen. Only stopping in front of the robot.

"Hello and welcome… scanning." The robot says and Amy stands up and stands next to Surge next to each other.

"Cute couple, detected, you may now enter for free." The robot says and Surge takes Amy in. To the surprise of Amy. They get two bracelets for an all day pass and are wished luck. Amy doesn't even know what's happening. While Surge doesn't realize that couple means romantic couple not a couple of friends. Somehow.

The two end up exploring the park. Amy blushes red due to the concept of her and Surge being a couple. Surge doesn't seem to mind, which confuses Amy even more. Does she know? Amy has no idea. So they keep going on rides. Surge seems to love the roller coasters but does seem to compromise with Amy to go on some of the slower rides. Most of their day consists of going on rides and Surge seemingly having the best time of her life. Amy's happy for her.

They end the day by going on the Ferris wheel, they go up and up and up and up. It takes a while. By the time they arrive at the top, Surge is fast asleep. Her head then thinks it's a good idea to land on Amy's shoulder. That surprises Amy who proceeds to blush so hard that she's thankful Surge is asleep and can't see her. Eventually the movement keeps going and Surge wakes up and sees what happened.

"Sorry" Surge says waking up, Amy thinks Surge looks hot when she looks sleepy. All that does however is make Amy even more red.

"Your fine" Amy turns away

"Are you good?"

"I'm fine!" Amy lies

"Look at me" Surge grabs Amy's chin and pulls her closer. Amy, despite her better judgment, goes in for a possible kiss. Until the ride stops and Surge notices they are at the bottom.

"Alright lovebirds get off."

The two exit quickly.

"What does lovebirds mean?"

"Nothing" Amy says panicked

"Sure didn't seem like nothing…"

"Nothing bad!"

The two exit the park and go home. Amy, again, despite her better judgment. Goes for Surge's hand. To her surprise not only does she succeed but Surge doesn't seem to care. So the two walk home with their hands together. Eventually they get back to Surge's place. Amy says goodbye. Then decided to kiss Surge on the cheek. Immediately Amy regrets that. She says goodbye again and then leaves. Surge is taken aback.

She gets it now.
