It was a gloomy Saturday morning, and Shelby and Cassie, a loving married couple, were still lying in bed at 8 am, engrossed in a deep conversation. They were discussing the events of the previous night, particularly their children's behavior. The conversation was filled with concern and deep reflection as they attempted to make sense of what had happened.

Cassie, in particular, was upset about their children's behavior, and she mentioned that she would go into their bedroom and confiscate their phones and laptops when they woke up. Shelby smiled and complimented her wife on putting her foot down the previous night. However, their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door, and Kitty, their daughter, poked her head in.

Cassie called out to Kitty, and she walked into the room, holding her laptop and phone. Kitty calmly placed her electronics on their bed and apologized for breaking their trust the night before. She assured her moms that she would make it up to them.

"We appreciate you bringing us your cellphone and laptop," Cassie said, trying to maintain a calm demeanor. "It will take a long time for us to forgive all of you because what all of you did last night was restless," she added, her tone a bit stern.

"I know Mama, I'm so sorry I did that to both of you after everything you've done for us. We went out and hurt you the worst way possible. We never meant to hurt anyone," Kitty explained her reasons for her behavior.

As your parents, we feel it's important to hold you accountable for your actions. While we understand that you may have thought you were doing the right thing, you also knew what you were doing was wrong and still chose to follow your sisters. Therefore, we have decided to ground all four of you and assign you the task of cleaning the entire house, including your bedrooms and bathroom, this afternoon. We know it may seem like a daunting task, but we have confidence that you can do it. Starting today, there will be some changes around here, and we expect all of you to be in your bedrooms by 7 pm.

However, Kit complained that it wasn't fair, to which Shelby sternly replied that it was final. She reminded Kit that Mama had been scared to death and worried about all three of them when she received the phone call about their reckless behavior last night. She was proud of Kit for not consuming any alcohol but still disappointed that she had lied to their faces

Cassie is known for being a responsible and caring mother who always has her children's safety and well-being at heart. Cassie called Kitty over to have an important conversation with her and her wife. She wanted to talk to Kitty about a few restrictions that would be put in place to ensure her safety and well-being. Cassie gently informed Kitty that, until further notice, there won't be any movie nights for her. Additionally, once Kitty gets her cellphone and laptop back, there will be certain restrictions on what she can access.

However, Kitty, feeling frustrated and angry, snapped at her parents, accusing them of being unfair. Cassie responded calmly but firmly, reminding Kitty to be respectful and mindful of her words. She advised her to choose her words very carefully and watch her tone as it is important to communicate respectfully and effectively if she wants to continue the conversation.

Despite Cassie's advice, Kitty continued to express her frustration and disobedience. Shelby, who was also present during the conversation, tried to understand what Kitty was trying to say. "What are you trying to say that we don't know, sweetheart?" she asked, hoping to encourage Kitty to express herself in a more respectful manner.

Kitty explained that she overheard Quinn calming Santana down for a day or two after their mom told her she couldn't go to Carmen's party. Santana was disappointed and the kids at school asked her if she was going. Santana told them her mom said no, and three of the guys in her class said it sucks to be her, especially having a mom who works at school. Santana got mad at them and told them a word or two, then she went to her next class. Kitty didn't know they were going to the party yesterday until she overheard them the other day at night discussing it.

Despite this, Cassie and Shelby reminded Kitty that her behavior was not acceptable and that she needed to apologize for her actions. They explained to her that her behavior could have serious consequences, and it was important for her to learn to communicate respectfully and effectively. They also emphasized the importance of apologizing when one has done something wrong.

After a moment of reflection, Kitty realized her mistake and apologized to her parents, hugging them tightly before leaving their room. Cassie and Shelby smiled at each other, relieved that their daughter had learned an important lesson about communication and respect

After Kitty left her parents' room, she walked into Quinn and Rachel's bedroom and sat down on a chair. She looked worried as she told them that she believed they had messed up big time and their moms were still mad at them about the party. Quinn tried to calm her down by saying she was overreacting like always, and that their moms couldn't stay mad at them forever. However, Kitty insisted that this time it was different and that their moms had completely lost their minds. She continued to explain that they had been told to clean the entire house from top to bottom, and that they each had to clean their own rooms. Just as she was finishing her sentence, Santana walked into the room and sat down on Quinn's bed. Everyone was in shock as they tried to process what Kitty had just told them.

Kitty was visibly worried as she walked into Quinn and Rachel's bedroom after leaving her parents' room. She sat down on a chair and expressed her concern that they had messed up big time. It turned out that their moms were still angry at them about the party they had thrown without seeking their permission. Despite Quinn's attempts to pacify her by saying that their moms wouldn't stay mad at them forever, Kitty insisted that this time it was different, and that their moms had completely lost their minds.

Kitty went on to explain that their moms had given them an ultimatum to clean the entire house from top to bottom, and that they each had to clean their own rooms. Just as she was finishing her sentence, Santana walked into the room and sat down on Quinn's bed. Everyone was in shock, trying to process what Kitty had just told them.

Rachel absorbed all of this information and exclaimed, "Have they always been that way?" She was concerned and curious to know whether their moms had a history of being unforgiving and strict.

Santana responded, "No, the only time they would make us do something like this is if we badly screwed up. Last time, I had to help them rearrange the kitchen to keep myself out of trouble. Then my mom had me stay at Nana's house the entire weekend without my phone or TV. I was miserable there." Her experience made it clear that their moms were indeed capable of being strict and unforgiving.

Curious to know why their moms were so angry, Rachel asked, "What did you do to make them angry?"

"If you want to know so bad, it was when I was at our old school. I skipped several classes and mouthed off to Principal Figgins and Mr. Schuester when they weren't being fair. I tried to explain to my moms about why, but they wouldn't hear it, especially my mom when it comes to school," Santana explained.

"Oh, I remember it," Quinn chimed in, confirming Santana's story before she added on, "There was a knock on the door, and Rachel stood up to open it. It was Cassie, their mom."

"I'm glad all of you are here," Cassie said. "Quinnie bear and Tiger, I need your cellphones and laptops. Santana, get up and walk out of your sister's bedroom to retrieve your items, and Quinn, pass me your items."

Without any hesitation, Quinn gave her Mama her cellphone and laptop. Santana, who was the boldest of the four, handed hers over with a grumble.

Cassie then gave them a task that made them all groan in unison. She ordered them to clean the entire house from top to bottom by noon. Santana protested, saying that they couldn't finish the task in a day, and the other girls nodded in agreement. Cassie, however, had anticipated their response and calmly told them that they had four weekends to complete the task.

Quinn rolled her eyes and muttered, "This is ridiculous," while Rachel sighed heavily and added, "This is too much." Even Santana, who was usually the loudest of the bunch, agreed with them, pointing at Quinn and Rachel and saying, "I've to agree with them."

Cassie was not swayed by their complaints and reminded them that they had broken the rules and were grounded. She went on to explain that they had earned this punishment after Rachel had pulled a stunt at school, and the three of them had gone to a party without permission. Cassie also added that she was disappointed in their behavior and expected better from them.

The four girls hung their heads in shame as Cassie left the room, leaving them to contemplate their actions. They knew that they had let their mother down, and they could feel the weight of their punishment on their shoulders. Kitty, the youngest of the four, was visibly upset, and her older sisters tried to console her, telling her that everything would be okay. They knew that they had a lot of work to do and that it would take a lot of effort to make things right with their mothers'.

Santana was doing her best to comfort her younger sister, Kitty, who was still feeling guilty and upset about their wild party night. Santana was hopeful that their mothers would forgive them soon, but she knew that their punishment of cleaning the entire house was going to be a long and tiring task.

As they headed downstairs, they were greeted by their mom, Shelby, who was already waiting for them with all the cleaning supplies they needed. Shelby had thoughtfully laid out buckets, sponges, rags, and other necessary tools, all ready for the girls to use. Shelby quickly assigned each of them a specific cleaning task so they could get started right away. Rachel and Santana were assigned to clean the left side of the living room, while Kit and Quinn were tasked with cleaning the right side.

Despite all the teenagers groaning at the thought of cleaning, they knew they had to do it. They filled their buckets with water and cleaning solution and began scrubbing the floors and wiping down the furniture. It was a lot of work, but they were determined to finish some of the cleaning that day.

After three long hours of cleaning the living room, Shelby assigned them to clean the dining room next. Santana had to polish the furniture, Rachel had to sweep the floor, while Kitty and Quinn were in charge of scrubbing the door and the wall. The girls were exhausted, but they knew that they had to finish their cleaning if they wanted to make it up to their mothers.

As they collapsed on the couch after two hours of cleaning the dining room, Shelby assigned Quinn and Rachel to tidy up her office, while Kitty and Santana had to clean Cassie's dance studio at home. The girls groaned at the thought of more cleaning.

Rachel and Quinn had spent the better part of the afternoon organizing and cleaning up Shelby's cluttered office. Once they were done, they headed to the bathroom to freshen up before dinner. A few minutes later, Santana and Kitty took their turn to shower and change.

Cassie, being an amazing cook, had prepared vegan hamburgers and fries for everyone. The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the house, making everyone's mouth water. The teenagers sipped on chilled juice, while Shelby and Cassie enjoyed a glass of wine with their meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, as they all gathered around the table and chatted about their day.

During dinner, Shelby announced that tomorrow afternoon, everyone would be given a sheet of paper with different sets of chores that needed to be done. She expected at least five of them to be completed by 5 o'clock. The announcement didn't sit well with the teenagers, who groaned and complained, not liking the idea of doing chores

Santana and Kitty had just finished their dinner, and they decided to help their parents with the dishes. They washed and dried the dishes together and put them away in the cabinets. After completing the task, they made their way to the family room to spend some quality time with their family.

Cassie, their mother, came up with a great idea to encourage the girls to read for 30 minutes. She asked the four girls to go to their room and choose a book each. Shelby, their mother, also requested that they write a summary of what they read and share it with her and Cassie once they were finished.

The girls quickly ran up the stairs, making a bit of noise, and searched for their favorite books. They grabbed a book and a piece of paper each and hurried back downstairs. They sat down on the couch and began reading their selected books.

They were so engrossed in their books that they didn't even notice the time passing by. They read for a full 30 minutes, and then they put their books down and started writing their summaries. They tried their best to capture the essence of the story and put in their best effort to create an engaging summary.

Once they were finished, Shelby and Cassie read their summaries and praised them for their efforts. They also allowed them to read three more chapters before sending them off to bed at 8 p.m. The girls went to bed feeling proud of themselves for their reading and writing skills.
