This is the story of hero in training Katsuki Bakugou being transported into the world of Melromarc and is the new cardinal shield hero in their darkest time of need. Bakugou will go on many new adventures in this fantasy world to become their world's greatest hero whether they want him to or not.

27. Chapter 27: Tyrant of Melromarc

Chapter 27: Tyrant of Melromarc

In the wilderness of Melromarc, there was a small camp of three. But this was no normal camping group, one of them was the disgraced former Princess Bitchwhore, and the other two were the cardinal spear and bow heroes Ponytail Slut and Bow Bitch.

Both Cardinal heroes had been completely corrupted by the curse series variants of their weapons, Lust and Pride respectively. Their eyes were both glowing, purple for the spear hero and yellow for the Bow hero, and the rags of clothing they had before had been replaced with their own demonic corruption armor emitting a constant miasma of lust and pride.

For the past few days, they along with Bitchwhore had been remaining together and traveling to where the evil former princess wanted them to go. After pushing over some bushes Bitchwhore now has a good view of the capital from a far distance, "Perfect, we're almost home." She says. A few days after she corrupted her two new attack dogs on her side, Bitchwhore had finally come up with a great plan, one that would solve her problems instantly.

"I hope you do have a plan and we're not here just to waste our time like your dumbass father has done before." the bow hero says with his voice sounding as demonic as before.

"Don't you dare question my archangel! Myne is the most intelligent person on this planet, no one can compare!" The spear hero chants, sounding demonic as well though in a lot more of a cheery tone which annoyed the corrupted Bow hero.

Bitchwhore then turned back, "Motoyasu just shut up. I do have a plan and it will be a very quick and simple one." She says to the Spear hero then turns to the Bow hero, "Bring our pets over." She ordered.

Bow Bitch nodded and then whistled. Out from the trees jumping in front of them were multiple cloaked female figures, they were the Queen's shadows, however they did not look right. Their eyes through their masks all had the irises glowing yellow as they bowed before to both the Bow hero and Bitchwhore herself, "What is it that you need of us my lady." a shadow says to the disgraced princess.

Not long after getting fully corrupted, the Bow hero gained another ability that Bitchwhore was going to exploit to the fullest.

Mind control.

The Bow hero can now fire specialized corruption magic arrows at targets. They do no damage to them, but the magic of the arrow quickly controls the minds of the target, turning even the strongest-minded individuals into his puppets that will do exactly what the bow hero wants them to do or who he tells who they have to listen to, which includes the former princess.

Bitchwhore started with the shadows, knowing she would have to visit them on her checkups. But on their inspection, before they discovered her missing slave crest, the Bow hero managed to fire these arrows at them and brainwashed the once loyal shadows in his control. It was originally just that group but throughout the multiple days, more spies keep on coming to them through their brainwashed comrades tricking them to be turned into more brainwashed slaves of Bow Bitch and Bitchwhore. They now had a sizeable chunk of the Queen's shadows in their control with the rest of the shadows and the Queen none the wiser.

Bitchwhore smiles and approaches the mind control shadows, "Glad to see all of you here, how defended is Mother right now?" she asks the shadows.

"Your Highness, there is still a large group of shadows loyal to the old hag, but we should be able to track them in the underground areas of the castle where the Bow Hero can purify them of their sins and have them join our side." the brainwashed shadow says to her puppet master.

Bitchwhore smiles to that, "Excellent, once they are out of the way, the next phase of the plan shall begin."

"And what would that phase be?" the Bow hero questioned now liking where this was going.

Bitchwhore smiles at him and then looks back at the castle in the distance, "Once we are rid of the last of moms spies here, you'll soon see." she says now happier than she has been since fooling the kingdom into believing the shield hero had violated her.

Inside the castle, Queen Mirellia was doing her best to calm herself. It had been many days since the Bow and Spear hero disappeared, and has yet to hear any word from them other than being sighted in some small towns, but were not there long enough for the authorities to get to them.

She started to worry if another villain from another world like Kyo could snare or manipulate them again to cause another disaster. There was still no word of the shield hero returning, she can only hope he and his team would return soon.

For some good news though, she has gotten word of what happened in Zeltoble. Sword hero Ren managed to defeat his imposter as well as the conspirators who were involved. Zeltobles embassy had just recently opened up again and the new regent Frandon wants to have open talks with Melromarc again. Something she is more than happy to hear after Piece of Shit nearly made them declare war on Melromarc before.

She knew Zeltobles royalty most likely had the sword hero doing stuff for them, but now she needed to get a hold of Ren again to help find the two other heroes. She didn't want to rely on the cardinal heroes for help, but now after the lack of progress she rather be safe than sorry.

She finally makes up to her bedroom, now lacking her former husband's items save for the former king of Siltvelt's trophy head and the vassal staff weapon still in its display in the closet.

As much as she hates how mindlessly stupid he has become, a part of her did miss the great hero she once knew and married.

The Queen remembered her youth as a young adult just out of her teens when she was forced to run away from Melromarc as a princess by order of Melromarc's former Queen, her own mother. When it started to look like her home country was doomed by Siltvelt's seemingly unstoppable armies, with the former Queen basically captaining a sinking ship. Her mom wanted at least allow her family and bloodline to survive.

So Mirellia was forced to leave her home nation, she attempted to get help from other nations but none wanted to start a war with Siltvelt by getting involved or didn't have anything to gain from it.

And with that going nowhere and without anything better to do as a young woman alone in the world with no kingdom to go back to, she decided to become an adventurer in another nation while hiding her royal identity. And with her combat skills, strong ice magic, and her good looks she made herself into an attractive potential party member to have.

Many offered much to have her, but one particular party leader offered the most to her which made the young secret princess quickly join his party.

What Mirellia didn't expect was to end up in a party with one of the seven star heroes, specifically the hero of the staff. She originally kept her identity a secret from him, pretending to be any other mercenary adventurer. But the staff hero was smart enough at the time to eventually find out who she really was.

She remembered back then how much guilt she felt to have been forced into abandoning her kingdom and unable to get any help, thinking it was hopeless to do anything about the war. But the staff hero understood everything she felt, having gone through such an experience before. Not long after that and getting closer together with her, the staff hero finally decided to help her with no tangible reward to save her kingdom, to fight for her people, and to save them from enslavement.

That was when she returned home with the staff hero beside her, they then helped turn the tide against Siltvelt. Beating back their armies, killing their best generals, and finally ending the life of their brute of a King, ending his reign of terror and saving the whole nation of Melromarc. 4 years after killing their king with the war finally being officially over, her mother officially abdicated the throne and gave it to her. And how can one newly crowned young Queen not marry such a selfless man, not for any political gain or that he was a vassal weapon wielder, but by being an honest hero who defended the weak and vanquished a great evil, it was a marriage of love.

They were all good memories, but they are only memories now. Today that same hero has become a raving lunatic, now serving as any maid in the castle. Who let his past grudges get the better of him, that he nearly ruined the kingdom he once saved before, and harmed those that never deserved it.

It was sad, but Mirellia knew she had to move on and focus on the now and not worry about the past.

A shadow of hers then appeared after shutting the door with a crystal ball in her hand, "The item you requested your Majesty." She responds kneeling while holding up the crystal ball.

Mirellia nodded back, "Thank you very much." she thanked the shadow and used her magic to activate the ball.

She was ready to get a hold of Ren, hoping he wasn't too busy with something else and hopefully get him back here to help find the two other heroes.

But when an image finally appeared inside the ball, it instead showed a projection of the spear hero who just blew a raspberry into the ball.

This completely confused the Queen, "What in the-AAAHH!" But then Mirellia screamed as her body got pierced by an energy arrow.

The Queen panicked and thought it was an assassination attempt, but then the arrow rapidly disappeared, and it left no wound or opening or anything, not even leaving any blood or a loss in HP.

"Perfect hit!" Said a voice and as Mirellia turned she saw it was the Bow hero himself just putting down his bow with both the weapon and himself covered in demonic pride corruption armor. And next to him was her daughter Bitchwhore and the Spearhero who was in corrupted armor, with them all emerging from the room's secret passageway. The same passageway they used to flee the castle when Reichnott and Richeart started their coup.

"Bitchwhore?! The Cardinal heroes!? But how!?" She expressed confused how they were even able to navigate through the sewers and the secret passageways, even after she had parts of it redesigned to stop something like this from happening.

But then the shadow with the crystal ball took off her mask to reveal her glowing yellow eyes, "I've done well, haven't I master and mistress?" The brainwashed shadow says to the fallen princess and Bow hero.

Bitchwhore says to her minion, "You've done more than enough, now it's time for Mother to understand me." she then sinisterly smiles, knowing what is going to happen now.

Mirellia attempts to use her ice magic to freeze them all, but she can't go through with the spell. Not that she wasn't able to use her magic, but something was now digging into her mind to stop her from attacking them. She then tried to yell for the guards, but that mental pressure was stopping her from even doing that. Mirellia immediately realizes she is quickly being mind controlled.

The Queen tries in all her might to resist the powerful spell, "I can't… I can't… I can't lose control! I have to stop this! No! No I can't lose control! I can't.. I can't….. I can't…..I…" but despite all of her mental might, she was unable to resist the spell as she stopped fighting it with her eyes now glowing yellow like the shadows as well.

The Bow hero smiles to his satisfaction, "Looks like we have a brand new toy to play with. A very nice one at that." Bow Bitch says, now seeing Mirellia as his new minion in his stats menu.

Bitchwhore smiles as she approached the mind controlled Queen, "Mother are you ok?" She asked but not in any caring way.

"I… I… I'm fine Bitchwhore, just a bit of a headache." Mirellia responded no longer acting hostile to her daughter and her new minions.

"Please Mother, just call me Malty." Bitchwhore asked which actually was an order to her.

The mind controlled Queen turns toward her true master Bow Bitch who said, "Whatever she says I approve as well." The corrupt bow hero confirms making it clear Bitchwhore was a master as well.

"I see, of course. I apologize Bit-Malty. Though weren't you banned from the castle as well?" The Mind controlled Queen continued to ask.

"No of course not Mother, this is my home after all." Myne says back very happy how everything is going exactly as she wanted.

"Oh, yes of course. I'm sorry Malty." The Queen says unable to think for herself anymore.

Malty sinisterly smiled bigger than ever as she spun around in celebration, "Yes yes! This is better than I expected it to be!" She cheered with her plan going exactly as she wanted to go.

"I never doubt this plan, my beautiful Archangel. You managed to ensnare that purple pig in your control." The corrupt Spear hero says with a wide smile on his face full of love and lust toward Myne.

"Hey, I'm the one who did the mind control idiot! You didn't do shit!" The Bow hero yelled at the spear hero.

"This was still the beautiful archangel's idea! And I was the one who provided that crystal ball you ass!" The spear hero yelled back with the two madly looking eye to eye at each other while growling.

"Calm down you two, you've both done a great job. But we still have a plan to finish." Malty says as she turns back to her mind controlled mother, "Mama, you have been very stressed out lately, you've been working too hard." She says in a kind sounding tone that has hidden sinister implications.

"Yes, I have been working hard lately." Mirellia parrots back, just saying what one of her masters was telling her.

"Mother just listen to what I say, and I can fix this problem. Not just for you but for the whole kingdom as well." Malty orders her mom, who nods back.

"Of course, I will listen to everything you have to say." Mirellia responds which makes Malty smile again.

With the Bow and Spear as well getting in closer, they hear what Malty has to say, and with the mind control shadow guarding the door, Malty explains what her mother should do.

"I wonder what Mother has to announce to everyone? She usually would've told me about something like this before saying it out loud to the whole kingdom." Said Melty Melromarc who is in the main governing building of Bakcadia looking into a crystal ball that showed the throne room of Castle in the capital with Mirellia sitting on her throne.

The throne room itself was filled with many nobles like Reichnott and servants including Piece of Shit who were there to watch and hear an important announcement the Queen has for the whole kingdom, who were also watching from the many crystal ball broadcasts.

Eventually Mirellia spoke up, "Thank you good people of Melromarc for listening in. I'm here of sound body and mind to make an important announcement." She then stood up, "As of today, I am retiring and Abdicating the throne of Melromarc."

"What?!" The entire court shouted in unison. All surprised that the Queen would say such a thing in such uncertain times like this, with the waves and guardian beasts still a threat. Even if she served as Queen for years, Mirellia was still fairly young for her to just quit the throne like this.

Melty was especially confused, this would mean she was going to be the new Queen. She knew such a day would eventually come. But this is completely out of nowhere and her mother should've talked to her about this long before doing such a drastic action. She can already tell something weird is going on.

The gossip continued throughout the court about this whole situation until the Queen raised her hand to say more, "I know this is a lot to take in, but I know full well this is the right thing to do. I especially know well that your next Queen will be worthy to take my place and accept this great responsibility. So let me also announce your new Queen." She says to the kingdom which continues to confuse Melty. If this was also supposed to be her coronation, she should be there at the Capital herself making her even more suspicious of this whole thing with most of the court thinking the same with Princess Melty not being there in person.

Mirellia then spoke again, "So here's our next Queen. My heir to the Throne, Princess Malty S Melromarc!"

"WHAT!?" Everyone in the room shouted once again even louder than before, not believing what they just heard.

One of her advisors immediately wanted that to be clarified, "My Queen, you mean Princess Melty right?" he asked hoping it was just a slip of the tongue.

Mirellia shook her head, "No I mean Malty. My firstborn." she responded making it all the more confusing for the advisor, everyone else in the room, and the rest of the kingdom witnessing this from the crystal ball broadcasts, especially Melty.

The large doors of the throne room then opened, getting everyone's attention. It was Bitchwhore herself back in the castle once more, smugly smiling as she struts across the throne room now wearing a noblewoman's dress with the corrupted Spear and Bow heroes beside her.

Melty from her personal crystal ball immediately knew something was up, "Sister what have you done with mother! What are you-" but then the ball was shattered to pieces after the Spear hero blasted the ball with a magic energy attack from an order by his Archangel, barely missing the carrier holding it.

Bitchwhore and her cronies continued walking until they were right up to near the throne steps, with Mirellia smiling toward them.

Everyone there knew none of this was right and one guard captain spoke up, "But your majesty! Bitchwhore was barred from the succession line! Exiled from the castle and has to pay for a 10,000 gold fine!" He spoke out what many others had in mind.

Mirellia shook her head in disagreement with that, as she grabbed a scroll from her sleeve and opened it to the crowd, "Not anymore. As of this day, I officially pardon my eldest daughter along with the Cardinal Spear and Bow heroes for all of their crimes. All punishments from before are to be receded, including her name change and the curses placed on her. So she is not to be referred to as Bitchwhore anymore, she is to be referred to by her birth name, Malty S Melromarc. Along with the Spear and Bow hero's names as well." She announced to the crowds, continuing to confuse everyone.

Mirellia then turns to some of the court mage, "That also means all of her curses should be removed including her hair and headwear one, so please remove it so I can complete the coronation." She requested the court mages who weren't sure if they should be doing such a thing.

Motoyasu then hits his spear on the ground after Myne whispers in his ear, "You heard the old pig! Release my beautiful Archangel of her curses now you bastards!" He yelled at the mages who immediately ran to Malty and quickly with their curse breaking magic removed what curses she had on herself. They would've done the same for the cardinal heroes but their old curses had already been broken once the Spear and Bow curse series overtook them.

The first curse to be broken was the shield curse, and Malty was happy to finally get rid of the rusty old thing as she threw it up in the air, with Itsuki blowing it up into a million pieces.

And with the headwear curse removed Malty extends her hand to the Spear, "The wig and mask please." She requested and her corrupted simp immediately goes for a bag he had. From it, he gives Malty a long red hair wig and half of a reddish purple face mask. She puts on both to cover her shaved head and her half scarred burnt face to look more dignified for her coronation.

Once she had both on, Malty walked up the steps to approach her mother as she kneeled down, not out of any respect but to continue the formalities of her coronation.

Mirellia then takes her crown off her head, "On this very evening, I shall step down from power, and give it all to you, the powers and responsibilities of the Kingdom of Melromarc. It is all yours now, Queen Malty." She says and places the crown on Malty's wigged head.

Mirellia then steps aside and allows the now newly crowned Malty to approach the throne, and the evil former princess now crowned Queen sits on her mother's old throne.

Malty smiles more than ever before. It was all finally hers, this was now her crown, her throne, and her kingdom.

Mirellia then both kneels and bows toward Malty once more, shocking the crowds, "All hail to the new Queen of Melromarc." She chants.

Motoyasu and Itsuki both then cross their arms across their chests to also bow before Malty, "All hail to the new Queen of Melromarc." they both chanted confirming their loyalty to the new monarch.

"I refuse!" Shouted a voice that turned out to be the guard captain from before now walking up toward the throne, "I refuse to just accept this nonsense, I don't know what you have done with Mirellia, but I know full well that she would never allow a brat like you to become Que-AAAH!" But then the guard was cut off with a spear impaling him through the chest.

The spear came from Motoyasu who looked angry at the now terrified man. Without a second to think, Motoyasu vaporized the guard captain with his spear beam, blasting right through him out pass the glass window. All that was left of the guard captain was the bottom half of his body, "Nobody defines or talks back to the Queen Archangel! Nobody!" Motoyasu shouts making it clear to the whole court and kingdom that any who dares to go against their newly crowned monarch will have to deal with the now more powerful Spear hero and Bow hero beside him, who unknown to all of them has Mirellia under his and Malty's thumb.

Malty still on the throne now looks annoyed, "I'm your new Queen now, so I expect everyone to bow in respect. So bow!" She commanded the court.

The first to bow was brainwashed Mirellia once again, doing what she is told with Motoyasu and Itsuki following suit once more.

"Yes let us bow to the new monarch!" Shouted a voice across the court, and to everyone's surprise it was General Richeart who stepped up from the crowd with a couple of other generals and military leaders to bow to the same person they helped conduct a coup against before.

Unknown to everyone else, like the old Queen, Richeart was another mind controlled victim of the Bow hero. Malty used the now brainwashed Mirellia to gather a bunch of generals and her shadows earlier that day, which allowed Itsuki to set up a trap. Now they were his new mind controlled minions, all to help strengthen Malty's claim on the throne more than ever.

Despite everyone's reluctance to this bizarre chain of events, after what the spear hero had done with no Shield or Sword hero to do something about them. To save themselves, everyone there began to bow before their new Queen, not out of respect or loyalty, but out of fear. All but one, Lord Reichnott who sneakily left the room before being noticed by anyone knowing he had to act fast.

This all satisfied Malty as she continued to sinisterly smile, "Haha, I'm in charge now, I'm the Queen and this is my kingdom now. And there will be no one to stop me."

"Miss Melty are you sure about this?" Asked a Bakcadian villager as Melty was quickly setting herself up for a long trip back home.

"I have to, something is not right here. I know Malty and the spear and bow heroes have something to do with it. I have to stop them or get through with Mother. I don't know what's going on, but I need to do something." Melty responds doing all she can to make it back to the capital as soon as possible by getting on a horse, even rejecting a carriage ride to get to the capital faster on single horseback.

"But it's late, and wouldn't it be easier to get help from the sword or shield hero first?" The villager asked.

"I have no way to contact Lord Ren she he left Melromarc and we still have no idea what happened to Lord Bakugou, there is no time for me to wait for them. Who knows what Malty will do as head of state? I need to get a hold of Lord Reichnott and Mom's shadows as soon as possible, hopefully to get through with Mom and stop this." Melty responds now finished setting up her horse, and without a second to waste she hits the reins and makes her horse go.

The horse quickly gallops its way out of Bakcadia. The young princess hopes to get near the capital by morning, and find a way to put a stop to this usurpation of the throne before things go from bad to worse.

By the next morning, the kingdom's capital is already being affected by the new rulership.

"By order of Queen Malty, all households must hang a painting of her majesty in their household for all to see! No exceptions or be charged with treason!" Shouted a guard as the other guards handed out large picture frames of Malty before she lost her hair and had half her face burnt to the people of the capital, and as they said by order of the Queen every household has to hang them up by tonight or the whole household including children would be executed.

And this wasn't the end of it, this was among the many things Malty started to make law once she was Queen. Soldiers have also been forced to put up many different kinds of posters and paintings of Queen Malty all over the capital, it was next to impossible to go anywhere in the capital without seeing Malty's face, even over store signs like Erhard's shop.

She even changed the nation's flag and coat of arms to have her face slapped on them.

By order of Queen Malty as well, the 3 heroes church has been re-established with the four heroes church being declared heretical. Malty ordered the whole cathedral to be completely purged of its members and be executed immediately, but when the guard made its way to the church the place was already abandoned. Someone informed them ahead of time to run and hide.

This seemed to happen to many who Malty ordered to be executed, from those who laughed or threw rotten food at her before, or just non-enslaved Demi-humans who were all now hiding away from persecution. This is all thanks to the efforts of Reichnott who managed to flee the castle before Malty would sick her attack dogs on him with Malty already making Reichnott a wanted man for supposed treason to be executed among many others.

The guards were ordered to find them, though this order was barely being enforced by anyone, since even the most anti-demihuman guardsmen had no real loyalty to the new regime.

This opinion was felt throughout most of the kingdom, they knew something was funny about Mirellia just stepping down like that, and many especially those in the castle have been trying to get through to her to come back to her senses and take the crown back. But the old Queen was just either ignoring them or continuing to insist that Malty is perfectly fit as Queen. The same was said with Richeart and other high ranking generals that the bow hero had under his control.

In the castle itself, the Maltyification of everything is just as prevalent there as pictures and paintings of her were being hung up all over even having many other paintings removed to put more of herself up on the walls. She ordered the old paintings to be burnt even significantly historical ones, but the castle staff managed to save them and have them hidden away for now.

In the throne room itself, Queen Malty still in her wig and mask was enjoying herself being pampered by several servants on her new throne while also writing on a very long scroll. With her goons, Itsuki and Motoyasu standing beside her as bodyguards and enforcers.

Motoyasu remained as the lovestruck simp, but Itsuki knew he was also the one with the true power in this kingdom still having Mirellia, the generals, and most of the shadows under his control and as long as Malty made him happy he'd keep her happy.

A servant then came up toward the throne, "Uh excuse me your.. Highness, your two guests are on their way and Packmule is just right out the door as requested." He said.

Malty smiled at that and snapped her fingers, "Good, bring him in." She ordered and immediately Packmule formerly known as Mald came into the room, looking exhausted and beaten after being turned to a slave of the crown while the rest of the bow heroes team was executed.

He was happy to see Malty on the throne as he ran up and bowed to the newly established monarch, "It is a great honor to meet you once more your Majesty along with the great Itsuki. I'll serve you both however you want me to as your bodyguard and companion." He says sucking up to both Malty and Itsuki as much as he can, hoping they would take it and allow him to get his old job back and out of this misery he was in now.

Queen Malty though had other plans as she sinisterly smiled, "That's interesting coming from the same guy who said directly to me "I can see why your mom doesn't want a complete failure as Queen." Those were your exact words weren't they?" She mocks back throwing the same words Packmule said to her during the floating pirate ship wave.

Packmule was now sweating bullets with that mocking comment of his coming back to bite him in the ass, "Uh.. no your majesty I was.. I was just saying that jokingly, it was obvious that you would be the most worthy of the throne as you are now." He lies trying to save whatever face he has left.

Malty didn't believe him for one second and just pointed to the bow hero, "I also remember you and those 3 other traitors abandoning me by that damn tortoise and then calling me an "idiot loser"!" Itsuki yelled back also throwing his words back at Packmule.

"Nononono! I was referring to that idiot spear hero. I actually wanted to come back to help you, but the rest of our team all threatened to kill me if I helped you and had no choice but to follow along. But they're dead now so it shouldn't be an issue anymore." Packmule lies again trying all he can to calm down the two most powerful people in the kingdom now.

Itsuki though responded by pulling back his bow, and firing an arrow at Packmule, "Bind arrow!" he shouted, this arrow wasn't of the brainwashing variety, instead it formed an energy rope around Packmule's body, trapping the cowardly betrayer in his place.

"I call forth the power to punish this sinner for his misdeeds! By means of a fiery inferno worthy of thy power! Bull of Phalaris!" Itsuki shouts and from the ceiling of the throne room, a massive metal bullhead appears.

Packmule didn't know what was happening until the metal bullhead opened up to show numerous spikes inside like with Bakugou's wrath shield's Ironmaiden execution, but within the bullhead were also flame throwers, to burn those who get ensnared.

Packmule was now in absolute horror, realizing what was going to happen, "Wait! Please! PLEASE! My Lord and Lady! I'm sorry for everything I said! I was a dumbass who couldn't see through both of your genius and I'll do whatever you want! Please don't kill me!" He screams begging for help but the new Queen and bow hero are just enjoying the show as the metal bull descends closer and closer.

Packmule then attempts to run away, only to get shot in the leg by the Bow hero stopping him in place as the Bullhead finally gets close to the ground. Packmule out of desperation tries to squirm away and continues to beg for mercy but the metal bull head finally snaps shut on Packmule.

As soon as it shuts the flame throwers inside ignited with some of the fires coming out of the metal bullhead's nostrils and its eyes glow red, "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Packmule screams in agony inside as he burns.

In a few more seconds the screams finally stopped with the bullhead's flames ceasing and its eyes no longer glowed red. The Metal bullhead then dissolved away into nothing with all that is left of Packmule being a pile of ashes.

"Ha, justice has been served!" Itsuki mocks out loud, happy to see that traitor of his finally getting what was coming to him and to test his new execution skill.

Malty was also happy to get back at the fat bastard for what he said and had this event be recorded on a crystal ball broadcast to show the kingdom what will happen to those that piss off their new Queen, "Excellent job Lord Itsuki." She congratulated and pointed to a servant, "Now get someone to clean up that mess." She ordered with a servant immediately running toward the ash pile and cleaning it up.

Motoyasu then spoke, "That was brilliant my Archangel! Now the world will see you punishing those who wronged you, my fair and just Queen!" He boasts completely blinded by his lust for his supposed lover's well-being.

"Yes yes I know Motoyasu, you don't have to say that every time I do something." Malty said rolling her eyes, as much she loved being praised, even she thought the spear hero was getting on her nerves.

"Just remember I'm the one who actually did the work dumbass!" Itsuki yelled back.

"You bastard!" Motoyasu yelled and was ready to punch Itsuki in the face for that,

Only to be stopped by Malty's hand, "Just shut up Motoyasu, you don't hear Itsuki complaining about anything. I'll let you do the next executions for me." She says annoyed that even as Queen she still had to baby the Spear hero.

Thankfully for her Motoyasu listened as he stepped back and smiled, "I'll do as you command my Archangel." He says getting back in place with Malty rolling her eyes again to this idiot and went back to writing on her scroll.

But not for long as the throne doors opened again, "Your guests are here." Said a servant.

And when Myne looked up, she was happy to see the guests. The spear heroes former party members, Elena and Lesty. Along with the 3 heroes' church, Malty granted pardons to the two of them for their crimes both related to the tortoise and what happened before as their old names also got restored. They also had their curses removed now wearing wigs on their heads that also helped cover their branding marks.

Malty was happy to see them especially her childhood friend Lesty, "Oh it's so great to see you two once more." Malty says putting her long scroll down as Lesty runs up to hug her now all powerful friend.

"Great to see you again as well, my Queen. Thank you for the pardons and everything." Lesty thanks her, the restored noblewoman knows well what power she herself will have with being best friends with the Queen of Melromarc and is going to exploit it as much as she can.

Elena though looked less than enthusiastic, part of her should feel happy about this. She would have the chance to never have to worry about work again, but at the same time this whole rise to power didn't seem right to her especially after she witnessed Motoyasu just executing a guard live from the Crystal ball broadcast and heard what just happened with Mald.

Speaking of the spear hero himself, he was looking very disgusted by the sight of Lesty and Elena, though not because he remembered what they did, but how they looked now.

Lesty then tries to go after the Spear hero once more and starts lying to him, "Oh Motoyasu it's also so good to see you again. What happened before was not me. Elena's parents were forcing us to be so mean to you before and we had to act it out for our safety. But the act is over now, so we can-"

"Stay the hell away, you filthy pig!" Motoyasu shouted and aggressively pushed Lesty away shocking the former teammate.

Motoyasu truly really didn't see Lesty or Elena anymore, along with every other woman he only saw the faces of literal pigs and couldn't even hear what they were really saying anymore, just oinking. The only exception was his Archangel Myne.

Lesty was confused but tried to charm the hero again as she tried to hug him, "Motoyasu, it's me Lesty, I'm just-"

But Motoyasu then placed his spear on her throat, "Get away you dirty pig or I'm going to slaughter you on the spot and burn your ashes for-*slap*" but he is interrupted after Queen Malty slaps his face.

"That's my best friend you idiot! You leave her be or I'll have you clean some actual pig pens. Am I clear to you!?" Malty yelled now getting genuinely angry with the hero knowing she could get away with it now without her fake nice girl act.

"I'm… I'm very sorry my Archangel, I didn't mean to make you mad. I'll leave the pigs alone." Motoyasu apologized back not defending himself from the slap. He doesn't understand why his archangel was friends with the dirty pigs but what is he to question his perfect woman?

"I apologize for his idiocy, he hasn't been acting the best around other women since becoming my lacky again. But at least he still does whatever I tell him now. He along with Sir Itsuki have been my best enforcers for my regime so they are both invaluable." she says to Lesty.

Itsuki enjoyed hearing being praised along with the insults on the Spear hero, with Motoyasu trying his best to ignore insults, thinking the archangel was right to say those things, even if they still hurt.

"Well as long as he is under your thumb that is all that matters, at least I don't need to sleep with his pathetic ass anymore, hahaha." Lesty says back as she and Malty laugh. Elena though was feeling uncomfortable, she may have not cared about Motoyasu before but the way Myne and Lesty were treating him now was going a little too far.

Myne then remembered what she wanted to do, "Oh I got a surprise for you, something I know you always wanted to do." she said as Malty snapped her fingers.

After that, two guards were dragging in two tied and gagged individuals to the center of the throne room. They were well dressed nobles, a man and woman looking scared and confused.

Lesty smiled immediately recognizing them, "Oh I see you brought Mom and Dad here." she gleefully smiled knowing what Myne was planning here.

"Yes both tried to suck up to me just when I first became Queen, expecting me to give them a bunch of titles and land just for you being associated with me. But I know how you had enough of your folks calling you a brat and that you always wanted full control of the family titles and estate. So just say the word and they'll be all yours." Myne says while Lesty's parents scream as loud as they can through their gags to get through to their daughter unable to get any words out.

Lesty sinisterly smiles and gives a thumbs up, "Do it." she responds without hesitation.

"Motoyasu execute them." Myne ordered pointing to Lesty's screaming gagged parents.

"Yes my archangel!" Motoyasu responds and not a second later he points his spear at the two, just seconds after he fires a large magic energy laser at them and Lesty's parents are both reduced to ashes.

"Hahaha, looks like I'll be inheriting the whole estate now!" Lesty laughed with Myne following suit.

Elena herself though was shocked by what she just witnessed. She may have looked the other way of Myne's and Lesty's antics before, but this was just horrifying. She really was with evil people now.

Eventually the two stopped laughing, "You know Elena I can do the same for your folks and make you the new owner of the Haven estate." Myne suggested.

"Nononono! It's fine, It's completely fine Myne! I… I really don't want to do any of the work for it anyway." Elena quickly says making sure her parents don't end up in such a fate.

Myne shrugged, "Very well, besides once I find Reichnott and his ilk there will be plenty of titles and lands to give out. But for now let's get other things done first." she said as the new Queen then picked up and rolls up her long scroll, "Now where is my advisor at?!" She yelled out, but thankfully the advisor wasn't far and ran up to his unfortunately new Queen.

"Sorry but what do you need your majesty?" He asked nervously knowing saying the wrong thing could mean Malty having her attack dog Spear Hero impale him.

Malty then handed him the long scroll, "That is a list of things I want to be done or at least start up by the end of the week. I expect each and every new decree to be marked off with no exceptions so read carefully." Malty orders him still enjoying all the power she has now.

The advisor looked over the list and was just horrified to see what he just read, "Your Highness, all of these things are just unreasonable, taking custody of every recent newborn of every family in the kingdom."

"They're going to be raised by the kingdom as my loyal elites in my private army." she responds.

"Burning down and salting the lands of Bakcadia and enslaving all the people there?" the advisor also listed.

"I have no need for that pigsty, and those that are under the wing of the shield devil are nothing more than traitors that need to be purged." Malty also responds

"And a 50 foot solid gold statue of yourself, do you have any idea how much it will cost the treasury for that to be made?" the advisor says, only listing 3 of the many absurd and terrible things she is demanding on that list.

Malty though didn't care, "A perfect Queen like me needs to have the best works of art to immortalize my perfection. The perfect Queen always deserves the best don't they?" She expressed.

"Indeed my archangel will look perfect in gold." Motoyasu expressed, which just made Itsuki roll his eyes.

"Don't talk unless I say so Motoyasu!" Malty raised her voice to the Spear hero.

"Sorry." Motoyasu sadly expressed.

"I understand my Queen, but the costs of it will be huge, we still have a kingdom to run and the waves to worry about." The advisor protests.

"Oh that's simple. As I wrote down on the list, to get all the funding for my projects I'm issuing a flat 150% increase of all taxes the kingdom already has and many more new taxes I have listed." Malty casually responds.

"150%! Your Highness, times are tough as is with the waves still being a great threat. Shouldn't those resources at least go into the army?" The advisor asked with a concerned voice.

"In due time, we need to get my personal projects going first." Malty responds not caring about what she was going to do with her people.

But the advisor continued to argue, "But the commoners, they can't afford this much-"

"The peasants will get used to them! I'm there Queen and I know what's best for this kingdom! What the hell do they know!?" Malty raised her voice not taking no for an answer with Motoyasu staring back while tapping his corrupt spear ready to impale the advisor if he kept questioning his Queen's authority.

The advisor was forced to sigh, "Of course your majesty. If it's what Melromarc's Queen wants, it shall be granted."

Lesty also liked the idea, "I wouldn't mind having a gold statue as well."

"Why not, we can make statues out of all of us." Malty agreed just stroking her authority at this point.

"Gold would look good on me as well" Itsuki said also liking the idea of him having his own egotistical "personal projects" he like to have done as well that he can now get with Queen Malty.

Elena though was starting to worry what such things were going to do to the kingdom and the people. She could overlook Myne one time trying to exploit that one town of Lout. But this was on the whole kingdom, these new taxes and laws are going to affect everyone. And the last time she pissed enough people off, a coup happened with everyone who was involved in it getting dragged down with the former princess and her father.

Malty then spoke up again, "Oh something that I should tell you now, we are no longer the Kingdom of Melromarc. With the new regime, I thought it was appropriate for the nation to also reflect it. For now on our Kingdom will be renamed Maltavia."

"Maltavia? Won't that just confuse most people?" The advisor questioned.

"They'll get used to it, and inform the whole kingdom as soon as possible."

"I would my Queen, but we haven't been able to get through with any crystal ball broadcast. Including the one with Packmule's execution." The advisor responds.

"What do you mean?" Malty questioned.

"We're not sure how this is happening, but there seems to be something interfering with all long range magic communication. All of our mages are looking into this and are trying to solve the problem." the advisor responds.

Malty was annoyed by this inconvenience, "Fine, get it fixed as soon as possible, in the meantime message everyone through carriers then."

She ordered with the advisor nodding back and started to walk away, "As you wish, I just hope you remember what your mother had done for herself as Queen, and also understand why the people quickly respected her." he said as he left the throne room out of sight.

Little did Malty know the advisor was going to avoid everything on the list and make sure no one saw it, hoping that Malty's ego trip will continue to distract her as she only focused on the now. He's going to ignore her orders as much as possible and make sure no one really tries to fix the crystal ball broadcasting issues, he had no idea where this issue came from but he was glad it was happening to help contain Malty's influence to just the capital for now. But he can only hope either Mirellia comes to her senses or the sword and shield hero comes back to end this already awful regime, otherwise he may be the next to be vaporized by the lust corrupted Spear hero and be replaced by someone who will do everything on the list with the kingdom quickly falling into ruins.

That last statement of his did annoy Malty a bit, "My mother was a fool who had no backbone to do what she could with her power. Who would respect an idiot like her?" She says out loud.

"It's absurd that people would think that purple pig is worth listening to compared to my Archangel." Motoyasu gushes once again.

"While I'm still confident with my ability to keep her under our control, the fact some people continue to look up to that tyrant makes my blood boil." Itsuki complains

Lesty was pondering to herself about it, "Yeah the old hag needs to go if we're going to get any real respect around here." she says out loud.

Malty though smiles again, "Oh don't worry, I have a plan to make sure my mom will be out of the way for good even if she somehow snaps out of her "condition"." She says as Malty then walks her way out of the throne room with her friends and the cardinal heroes following her, wondering what she was planning.

After some time walking down the halls, the 5 soon finally made it to where Malty wanted to be, Faubrey's embassy.

The five entered to meet with the ambassador who was signing some documentation to report to his government back at home on the situation with the changing regimes, until he saw the new Queen of Melromarc, two of her friends, and the 2 cardinal heroes approach him, "Good morning Miss Melromarc, is there a reason you want to see me?" He asked in a polite if condescending voice.

Malty sinisterly smiles as she sits herself down in front of the ambassador, "I just want to discuss your current King's wife situation, I've heard his last one just "passed away" and requires a new one." She says to the ambassador who is now looking curiously at the new Queen.

"Uh, yes his latest wife "passed away" last night, are you offering a prisoner to be his next wife?" The ambassador asked knowing full well what his king does with his "wives" who usually tend to be some of the worst female criminals across the world that are offered to him in good gesture to Faubrey by other nations.

Malty's sinister smile continued, "Actually, it's the former Queen of Melromarc, my mother Mirellia who is offering herself to be his next Queen." She responds.

The ambassador's eyes widened in surprise to hear that someone like Mirellia was doing such a thing, "Mirellia Melromarc?! Are you sure she is offering herself in marriage to my King?" He asked thinking even Mirellia who was once married to his king's younger brother would know of the reputation of his older sibling,

"Mother thinks it's for the good of Melromarc or now named Maltavia now, she'll come by later and confirm it to you. So you might as well set up the arrangements to transport her out of here toward your king." Malty confirms knowing full well of her uncle's reputation and is happy to set her mom up with him and be permanently out of their hair.

The ambassador was still a bit confused, but if Mirellia did mean it, this could mean a good opportunity for him to get rewarded by his king for setting up a new wife for him and nodded toward the new Queen, then said "Very well, after your mother confirms this, I'll set up transportation to get her on her way to Faubrey tomorrow evening.".

"Perfect, have a good day." Malty says as she and the heroes make their leave as the Ambassador quickly goes for his crystal ball to inform his superiors back at home about this development.

Malty's group exits the ambassador's office with Malty laughing to herself, "Hahahahaha, absolutely perfect, soon Mother will be out of the way forever and no one can do anything about it. Now we just need to deal with our next threats and I know one of them will be coming right toward us soon. And I have a plan I like to implement." She says knowing who those "threats" were.

Elena continued to look uneasy by the whole situation, she knew of the reputation of the King of Faubrey and what he does to his "wives", and for Malty to set her own mother the old Queen up with him made her feel even more guilt in just standing by and allowing this tyranny to happen.

It was now past noon in Zeltoble in a former camp of murderous trolls next to a forest, who were now all dead thanks to the Sword hero Ren Amaki and his party.

Ever since dealing with his imposter, Ren has been doing proper services for the Zeltoble crown all across the country dealing with a bunch of threats and issues. Powerful bandits groups, minor two heroes church rebellions, going up against large dangerous monster nests like this camp of trolls that had been constantly harassing a village and eating both livestock and people, and many other quests.

Ren wanted to ensure there was goodwill of him and the cardinal heroes to the country of Zeltoble after what his imposter tried to do, making sure the corrupt two heroes church didn't try to make a comeback despite the opinion of the bow and spear heroes being at an all time low. Ren also wanted to make sure the regency of Frandon remained stable which it thankfully has been after Andraw officially abdicated the throne.

"Another successful job well done guys." Ren says back as he puts his sword in his scabbard and smiles at his team who had just recently gained a new member with Fohl. Despite the kid's age and lower levels, he was quite the small powerhouse now using a hammer as a weapon.

"That was fun, but I was hoping to kill some dragons along the way though." Scarlet said who was going to miss all of the wagon traveling they had been doing to get around Zeltoble before they could fast travel back to them.

Ren then used his teleporting power to spawn them back to Zeltoble's palace, he had been using this to come back to the Palace hospital to help cure Fohl's sister Atla, who was growing healthier and stronger by the day.

After being given her latest dose of the specialized healing potion, Atla can now finally be able to get out of her bed into a wheelchair, "Are you sure this is ok Atla? We can still take it slow." Fohl says as he guides his blind sister to the wheelchair.

"It's ok big brother, I feel better than ever before. I may still be sore, but I might be able to walk again in a few days." Atla says, talking softly and warmly which always makes her brother feel happy to hear especially compared to how she sounded before.

"The doctors did say you may need to get some fresh air and being able to sit up straight now should help you get on your legs again sooner." Eclair says, she like the others on the team is happy to see the poor girl recover from such a horrible illness.

Ren nods to that, "We have plenty of that back in my town, we'll all teleport there and you two can live in my manor for the time being. It should be wheelchair friendly. Besides after being gone for so long, I'm sure the Queen is wanting to get back to us after all we've been through.". Ren says, the sword hero wouldn't mind a tiny break as well after doing so many things in Zeltoble by himself and his team. He also knew he had to do something about Dumb and Dumber as well to prepare for the Phoenix and future waves.

Raphtalia nods back, "I'm sure her Majesty fully understands after all the good you've done Sir Ren." Raphtalia says back.

Kiel then wraps her arm around Fohl, "Wait until you meet Miss Grilaroc, she may be old but man can she throw a punch. You'll grow even stronger with her teaching you." She says with Fohl blushing a little.

"Uh.. thanks I'll… I like to meet her." Fohl nervously says though not of this Grilaroc woman but being close to Kiel who he can't deny having some attraction to despite some of her masculine traits even when her chest clearly showed that the wolf Demi human was a woman.

Ren nods and after everything is set up he activates his map sword, in a few seconds the entire party including Atla all teleported away from Zeltobole.

In a few more seconds they reappeared right back into Melromarc in Mirso just outside of his manor.

"So this is Melromarc?" Fohl says with Ren and Eclair nodding back.

"Feeling the sun on my skin is already making me feel better big brother." Atla says still in her wheelchair.

Fohl smiles to that, "That's perfect, this will be our new home from now on and hopefully we'll be able to get you around to walk again." He says happy to see his sister be so upbeat again after they had been through so much before meeting with the sword hero.

"Sir Ren! Sir Ren!" Shouted a worried voice that got the sword hero and his group's attention. It was Wyndia with Grilaroc following her.

"Nice to see you guys after so long." Farrie says to the two.

However these two weren't looking happy to see them, they both had worried looks on their faces, "Too long if you ask me, while you were gone we just got a new Queen." Grilaroc responded.

The group was immediately confused including Ren and Eclair, "What do you mean new Queen? What happened to Mirellia?" She asked them now looking concerned.

Wyndia responds, "She abdicated the throne yesterday, but what's worse is that the new Queen is that evil woman Bitchwhore."

"What!?" The entire group shouted not believing what they just heard.

After a couple of minutes, a crystal ball was brought forth to the group. And the ball showed off an old recording of what happened the night before. Ren and his group had now witnessed Mirellia just stepping off her throne and giving it and her crown to Malty directly without any resistance after pardoning her of all the horrible things she had done.

What struck Ren's curiosity though was with the Spear and Bow heroes, who both were now acting as Malty's lapdogs. But what he noticed is their new evil looking armor and glowing eyes. Despite them being of different colors purple and yellow respectively, he recognized such a thing from anywhere. It was how Bakugou looked when he was fully corrupted by the Wrath shield, turning him into an unstoppable monster. Now he worried for the worst, that those two have unlocked something similar. Dealing with one corrupt hero was enough, but now there were two of them under an evil Queen's thumb.

This whole situation just confused the sword group, "Just why would her Majesty do this?" Raphtalia asked, after all she had been with Miss Melromarc and from what she learned about politics the old Queen seemed to be a woman of reason, for her to do this just puzzled the Tanuki-raccoon's mind.

"Maybe it has something to do with the meany spear and bow guys. They were friends with that mean red woman before." Scarlet suggested.

Ren ponders to that, "Whatever the reason is, something is definitely up. We need to stop her before she does something irreversible or those two go berserk like what Bakugou did." He said with everyone nodding in agreement.

Kiel raised her ax up, "Great! Let's go and kick their asses!" She shouts.

Raphtalia though calmed her down, "Let's not be reckless Kiel, we don't know what happened to the original Queen, and you heard the story Master Ren told us about the power of that corruption with the Shield hero."

"I know, but still we got to do something about this." Kiel says back.

Scarlet then spoke up, "What about Melty? How is she doing?" She asked with the others wondering about the well being of the second princess.

Wyndia answered her, "We tried to contact her from Scarlet's crystal ball that connects to the one Melty had, but she wasn't there. The receiver of the ball said that she ran off to the capital on horseback after hearing the news."

Ren nods to that, "Then we'll go there ourselves. Like before in Zeltoble we'll go undercover and hopefully meet Melty there and figure out a plan together even if we have to wait on her. So let's get ready to head that way." He says with his group nodding back in agreement.

After a few minutes, the sword hero group was ready to fast travel toward the outskirts of the capital. This includes Fohl who was leaving his sister under Wyndia's care, "Be careful out there big brother. I know you are strong, but don't do anything too reckless." She says to her brother who smiles and holds her hand.

"Don't worry Atla. We'll stop this evil princess and be able to live in peace once more. You'll be under the care of good people who will help you while I'm gone, so be nice to them." Fohl says with Atla smiling and nodding in agreement.

After that Fohl runs toward Ren and with his map sword teleports his whole Team away with Wyndia, Atla, and Grilaroc waving back until they disappear.

The group reappeared just a few miles outside of Melromarc's capital where they disguised themselves again and snuck their way into the city unrecognized.

They can already see what Malty is making use of her position as Queen for, with posters of her face plastered all over the place with an uneasy atmosphere present throughout the city. She's only been Queen for not even a full day and nobody liked what is going on here and knew it was only going to get worse if something isn't done about it.

"I see you have returned Hero I dare say." Said a voice that Ren recognized and saw that it was one of the Queen's shadows.

Ren nods back to her, "I have, and are you here to help us out to fix this situation?" He asked the Shadow knowing the spies would be the ones with the biggest scope of the situation with her nodding back.

"Yes, come with me and we'll get together with another ally." She responds as the Shadow then leads the way toward an alleyway that the sword group follows.

Eventually the group was at an abandoned building with the shadow opening the door with everyone going inside. And the group saw a familiar face within.

"Sir Ren it's you!" Said the figure inside who turned out to be Princess Melty.

Scarlet immediately ran up to her with the two hugging each other, "It's good to see you again Melty. How have you been doing?" She said and asked.

Melty sighed, "Well fine until this whole fiasco happened. I rode all night to get here just over an hour ago." She responds.

"Do you have any idea what is going on here or what your mother is even thinking?" Eclair asked with the others hoping for answers.

"Not too much I'm afraid, but Mom's shadow here has been very helpful. She and the other shadows think Mom is being threatened by my sister and the cardinal heroes to abdicate and make Malty Queen." Melty responds.

Ren nods to that, "I figured the Queen wouldn't just give up all of her power to Bitchwhore like that by her own free will and that something was up." He said and then looked back at Melty, "So where is she now?" He then asked.

"Inside below the castle, in a locked room Malty put her in according to the shadows. There are secret passageways inside the castle we can sneak in through and rescue her." Melty responds.

Farrie was pondering to this though, "Ok so our priority is to rescue the Queen first obviously, but will that be enough to deal with Queen Bitchwhore? Especially when she has two corrupt cardinal heroes at her beck and call?" She says which made the others wonder as well, not knowing what would be in store for them if they encountered the two.

"Well first things first is to get her Majesty to safety, it would remove a significant amount of power Malty has over the kingdom. If we are to beat Itsuki and Motoyasu we need to isolate the two away from each other and beat them one on against all of us together. Perhaps Mirellia can provide us with aid or reinforcements to counter them. But like I said we need to be careful, who knows what powers those two have." Ren says with his team and the princess nodding in agreement.

"This way please." the shadow said who then waved her hand as the others followed her.

She leads the way through a secret passageway from the sewers into the castle proper, getting passed the gate and guards to not alert Malty and her cardinal lackeys.

The group continued sneaking their way in, getting passed patrolling guards and servants easily thanks to Raphtalia's illusion magic.

Eclair and Farrie did feel like this was getting a little too easy, but the two remained silent on the matter to focus on the mission at hand that needed their full concentration.

Eventually the group made it through a dark hallway on the lower floors of the castle next to a metal door.

The shadow opened it up, and inside the room was Mirellia Melromarc herself sitting on a chair reading a book, "Melty is that you?" The former Queen said quickly recognizing her younger daughter.

"Mother it's really you. You're ok?" Melty says and immediately ran and hugged her mother who was continuing her warm smile.

After Melty finished her hug Ren and crew ran up to the Queen, "Are you ok your Majesty?" Farrie asked with the others wondering the same.

Mirellia nods back, "Yes I'm fine, Malty had me trapped here. But thanks to you I'm free again." She says to the group.

Eclair nods to that, "That's good, now we just need to figure out how to separate the bow and spear heroes and tie them up. Without those two we'll be able to stop Malty without issue." She says.

"We should also get a hold of Sir Richeart as well. No doubt Malty is also threatening him to have his sway to manipulate more people to her side as well." Raphtalia added in.

"Man this is going to be a fun day, dealing with so many powerful people." Fohl says, already having fun on this adventure to save another kingdom from another evil usurper.

Ren nods to all of that, "Then let's not waste our time and escape where we came from. And figure it out from there." He says with his team nodding in agreement.

The former Queen as well, "Very good ideas indeed. Though there is one more thing I need to do." She said.

"And what is that you're majesty?" Eclair asked.

"Just this." Mirellia casually answered as she turned away to walk a few steps, with the group wondering what she needed to do first.

However in a split second, Mirellia turns around, waves her arm, and the sword hero's entire group but Ren himself all got almost completely encased in ice from their feet to their necks.

"What in the hell!?" Ren expressed confusion as to what was going on.

But before he could fully react, a magic arrow from the walls is fired on the ground below the sword hero's feet. Instantly cracking apart Ren falls down a newly made hole until he falls flat on the ground of an old sewer tunnel. And to his horror it was filled with water that reached up to his waist.

"Master Ren!" Scarlet shouted as she tried to break out of the ice even trying to transform into her bird form, but this ice was enchanted and magical in nature so it was impossible for her to transform.

Ren tries his best to quickly recover and stands back up from the water, "Hey Ren!" Shouted a voice and with the sword hero looking up he saw who said it. It was Motoyasu appearing from the wall above with others being revealed as well including Itsuki, a bunch of mages some of who made the illusion spell in the first place, and Queen Malty herself, "Time for our proper rematch!", Motoyasu shouted again and from the higher floor he jumped down to the same level as Ren with Itsuki remaining above where he had the high ground advantage.

Malty was clapping to herself, "Excellent job Sir Sword hero, you and your party fell right into my trap. You even brought little Melty along, making it even better hahaha!" She evilly gloated.

Eclair and the rest of the squad were confused, "But I don't understand, the shadow-" but as Eclair looked she saw that the shadow who led them there was smugly smiling as she turned and bowed to Malty.

"Just as you planned my Queen." the shadow said to Malty which widened the whole group's eyes to the fact they all fell right into a trap.

"I knew it!" Farrie shouted suspecting something off about the situation and wished to have voiced her concern before.

Ren saw the whole thing from below as well, but he now had to focus on a Lust corrupted Motoyasu already charging at him with his powerful corrupted weapon, "Pony-I mean Motoyasu, that Spear you have is messing up your mind! You need to change it back or you'll-"

"Silence traitor!" Motoyasu shouted, "You sided against the great Archangel and supported that monster Shield devil! I'm here to enact punishment against monsters like you and him!" he continued and without hesitation he fired a powerful beam attack at Ren, with the sword hero barely dodging it. Motoyasu not a second after lunged at Ren trying to stab him with his spear as Ren was forced to go on the defensive.

Motoyasu's fighting style was as sloppy as before, but the shear power his corrupted weapon provided him made it almost impossible for Ren to do damage on the spear hero, especially without his team. The anxiety he had being in the water wasn't helping either.

Ren managed to push Motoyasu away and attempted to super jump upward to free his teammates, only to be hit by numerous arrows. These arrows were from Itsuki, who like Motoyasu was now far more powerful thanks to his curse series weapon.

Ren tried to find an opening from the rain of arrows, but Motoyasu finally caught up to him and lunged at the sword hero once more. The battle was quickly going badly for the sword hero, his worst fear of this mission came about again with two corrupted cardinal heroes fighting him at the same time.

And it only got worse.

"Mother the heroes seem to be having trouble, mind helping them out?" Malty requested Mirellia.

The former monarch nods back, "As you wish my Queen." Mirellia says back and now beside the Bow hero, she begins to fire powerful icicles at the Sword hero.

"Mother what are you doing!? Please stop this!" Melty yelled still imprisoned in ice, not knowing why her own mother was allowing all of this to happen with the others still trying their best to break free from the strong ice.

Ren was absolutely getting overwhelmed, he applied as many boosts as possible but he couldn't match the power Motoyasu and Itsuki had together while being attacked 3 ways at once by the two corrupted heroes and Mirellia's ice magic as he was also getting debuffed from the mages above, while in waist high water.

After getting knocked off balance by an energy arrow hitting his shoulder, Motoyasu blasts at Ren with one huge powerful energy attack, blasting him at a damaged wall. This one attack alone took off a quarter of his health with all of his equipment damaged.

And without a second to recover Mirellia freezes Ren in his place and Itsuki fires his arrows at the helpless Sword hero getting more and more injured.

It was a horrible sight to see as his teammates watched helplessly, "Master Ren no!" Scarlet yelled still trying to transform and help.

Rishia though despite the magic resistance ice, finally manages to concentrate her own magic enough to make a strong fire spell, and with this fire spell she breaks apart the ice to free herself. And she had just enough magic in her to fire another spell on Scarlet's ice, freeing her as well as she quickly transformed into her Filolial form.

Scarlet immediately went toward the hole to save Ren and kick the Spear hero in the groin again.

However the mages beside Malty herself quickly formed a barrier in time to stop the bird from aiding her hero.

Scarlet slashed at it a few times hoping to break it but it had no effect. She then immediately ran toward Malty and the mages to stop her and the barrier. But before she could get too close Itsuki started firing multiple powerful arrows at her along with Mirellia's icicle projectiles keeping her from getting close to their new Queen.

"Rishia get us out quick!" Eclair yelled knowing if the whole team was freed they would have a chance.

"Sorry I'm almost done!" Rishia shouted as she tried to concentrate her mana once more to make another fire spell to free her whole group. Finally she made enough mana for her spell and was ready to fire at her group.

"AH!" But from the side, Rishia gets shot with a magic arrow stopping her in place.

The arrow came from Itsuki now smiling smugly again, as Mirellia continued firing icicles at Scarlet.

The arrow did no damage, but Rishia was now suffering from a massive headache, "Rishia! Are you ok!" Fohl shouted with the others also wondering what the Bow hero had done.

Rishia was trying her best to resist this massive headache, trying to stop its influence. But even with her own magical capabilities, it wasn't enough to resist it as her eyes now glowed yellow, "I hope you are ok now Rishia." Itsuki said still smugly smiling more than ever before.

"Yes Lord Itsuki, I'm sorry to cause you any trouble." Rishia said casually as she dropped her sword.

This confused her team, "Rishia what are you doing?! Help free us now!" Kiel shouted trying to knock sense into her.

"You traitors be quiet, as Sir Itsuki and your new Queen handle your traitor leader." Rishia shouted showing everyone she was now under Itsuki's spell as well.

Scarlet was also horrified, "No sister Rishia! You bow jerk I'll smash your head instead!" she shouted as she dodged more of Mirellia's icicles to kick Itsuki in the face and hopefully stop this spell.

But before she could get close, from the hole below Scarlet gets blasted by a purple beam attack, sending her crashing into a wall. The beam coming from Motoyasu happy to have gotten payback on the bird that kicked him over a month ago.

Scarlet falls back on the ground deeply hurt but then she gets ensnared by a binding arrow from Itsuki, forming a powerful magic ring around her body, and for good measure Mirellia covers her up in ice once more.

With them dealt with, the attention was thrown back at Ren who struggled to free himself and recover from all of those damaging attacks, "AAAHHHH!" only to get stabbed in the arm by Motoyasu's corrupted spear.

"Don't think we forgot about you." Motoyasu taunts Ren who is unable to fight back with all the ice and against such a cursed power.

Queen Malty from up the hole laughed, "Hahahahaha! Looks like the good sword hero's luck had just run out. Now it's time to punish the naughty hero who sided with the shield devil." She then turned to Itsuki, Kill them." She ordered while winking pointing to Ren's team.

Itsuki winks and smiles back as he charges up a powerful attack aiming directly at the helpless sword team.

"No! Not them! I'm the one you want! I'll do anything!" Ren shouted but was ignored and once Itsuki finished charging he fired at the horrified group, "NNOOO!".

*Booom!*

The arrow was fired directly at the Sword hero's team including mind control Rishia and Scarlet.

Ren looked away for a second from the dust and when he looked back hoping what he saw was not true.

But he saw above nothing where his group was, however right below he saw bits of bodies, arms, legs, and the most horrifying of them all Eclair's severed head.

"No! No! NO!" Ren cries as he sees with his own eyes his entire team being slaughtered before him.

"Hahahahahaha!" Malty laughed again as she smiled wider than ever, "Now time to put you in time out Sword hero. Motoyasu! Send him out now." she mocked and ordered.

Motoyasu nodded and jumped further away and like Itsuki before charged up his attack once more and said to Ren, "Have fun bastard! Enjoy the ride!" the spear hero shouted and immediately fired his beam attack at Ren.

Still in shock and trapped Ren was then blasted through the wall hitting another wall behind above a deep dark tunnel, he bounced off that as he fell down a tunnel that directly led into a dark pit where there was no light, all the while Ren was still in too much shock to even stop himself as he falls into darkness until not even the Spear hero could see him anymore.

With Ren no longer in sight Motoyasu looks back up the hole, "It is done my Archangel." he says as the Spear hero superjumped out of the hole.

Myne smiles, "Perfect, at least you did one job well." she expresses as she looks to her mages, "And good show as well, it completely convinced the Sword hero." she says to the mages who nod and end their spells, and from below the hole the "pieces" of Ren's teammates disappeared into light including the supposed head of Eclair.

And right where they were at before the illusion magic disappeared to show off Ren's team once more. All of them were still alive but still entrapped in magic ice including Scarlet with Rishia still mind controlled.

"Excellent job to all of you as well, you really made him think all of you perished." Malty insultingly mocks the group.

"Illusion magic? Why did you do that?" Raphtalia asked with the others wondering the same.

"I have plans for Sir Ren, plans that require him alive but I know he needed something traumatic to make him... move in a certain direction, a direction I want to exploit as I have with the rest of the cardinal heroes I have in my control." Malty responds clearly implying something sinister.

"Why not kill us for real though?" Farrie asked with her and the others still struggling to escape the ice.

"Very simple, while I have Sir Motoyasu as my enforcer, he is also an idiot. And Sir Itsuki is my main source of power in my regime, but he is just one person. I need more powerful retainers beside me, and all of you will be perfect fits for the job." Malty responds to them.

"We'll never serve monsters like you!" Fohl shouted.

"And you won't be getting away with this either! I know Sir Ren is still alive and he will not put up with your bullshit!" Eclair insults back with her and the others keeping their resolve.

Malty just laughed once more, "Hahahahaha! I already have gotten away with it, and my next pet hero will be however I mold him to be." she then turned to Itsuki, "Bow hero, you know what to do." she ordered.

And without hesitation, the Bow hero fires another magic arrow that splits up into multiple projectiles. And each of these energy projectiles hit every single one of Ren's team, with Princess Melty being the only one spared.

Like Rishia before the Sword team tried to fight off the spell, but it was no use as even the strongest of them Scarlet are unable to fight off the mind control.

Soon each one of them had their eyes turned yellow and they finally stopped resisting. They were now all in Itsuki's and Myne's control.

"Mother you can free my new retainers now." Malty ordered with Mirellia nodding and finally made all of the ice on them break apart along with the binding spell on Scarlet disappearing as well, as she changed back into her human form.

Now freed and without any attempt to fight back, the group all approached Malty and immediately bowed before her, "We are deeply sorry for our disrespect before my Queen. We'll now serve you to our last breaths." Eclair said now unable to think for herself anymore.

"Long live Queen Malty." Brainwashed Raphtalia said.

"Long Live Queen Malty!" Ren's entire group said which just made Malty grin wider than ever.

"So this is how you got mother to abdicate? You brainwashed her!" Melty shouted being the only one there with any free will left.

Malty continued smirking at her little sister, "That's right." she said and then smacked Mirellia in the face who did not react to it at all, "She is my pet now and I will do whatever I want with her." she continues and then got closer to Malty, "Your probably wondering why I didn't do the same for you? Well for one thing I have more than enough retainers now, but I'm also tired of always being compared to you, the spoiled little brat who everyone loves. And people still compare me to Mother even after she stepped down, it's fucking stupid! But, it won't be an issue for long, I already have my plans to get rid of Mother with our uncle. And I have something special planned for you tonight, something I want the whole kingdom to see, something that will make sure everyone will know that I'm the one true Queen. And as a bonus, I get to be an only child again." she gloats out loud.

"Malty just remember there is another hero out there that won't tolerate this! He'll stop you and free all the good people you have mind controlled!" Melty shouted.

"Oh the shield devil, don't make me laugh. The shadows already told me about how he just disappeared after the Spirit Tortoise and hasn't been seen since supposedly in another world. I already have my plans for dealing with him and his whores if he does come back. Though by the time he'll be back you and mom will be long gone, and with you in particular it'll be tonight. So enjoy your last few hours my sister, maybe you'll reflect on how I ended up playing the game better than you and Mom ever did. Hahahahahaha!" Malty finishes mocking and turns to leave with Motoyasu and Itsuki following her, with Ren's mind control team picking up Melty's ice prison up as she is taken away.

Melty was now looking extremely worried and even somewhat scared, it did seem like a very dark hour with no means of getting out of this. The most she could do now was pray for a miracle, "Please Sir Bakugou and Sir Ren, please help us in our darkest time of need. And if not them, then may another hero help us." she said quietly as she continued to be dragged away.

Deep down in the dark hole, it was the near dead Sword hero, neck deep in water with zero light in sight. Such a thing would be terrifying to him especially the water itself. But Ren remained completely in shock at what he just witness a few minutes ago, "There dead… all of them are dead. Scarlet, she was supposed to eventually become a Queen, Eclair was supposed to help fix her father's legacy, Rishia I… I just wanted to help you, Raphtalia, Kiel, I'm so sorry Rifana.. I… I.. I didn't, oh god Atla, your brother died on my watch, even Farrie after nearly dying to the Tortoise still decided to remain on my side and continue to aid me. And I let them all die on my watch! Why! Why am I so weak?! This is all my fault!" Ren cries feeling so much guilt for what happened.

All of his memories of his team now haunt him. He blamed this on himself, "I was so weak, I couldn't let myself think and fight clearly because of this damn water!" He shouts and splashes his fists in the high water.

As he thinks more and more of what happened, this depressed sadness slowly starts to turn to deep anger, "It's not fair! It's not fair! I'm the sword hero! I did all I could to get stronger! And I should've been strong enough to defeat those two idiots! Damn them! Damn Motoyasu and damn Itsuki for their cheap power up bullshit!" He shouts getting more and more angry by the situation, "Those two didn't know how to be actual heroes or know how to actually fight! They basically just turned on god mode on themselves and cheated! If I had that power as well, I would've kicked both of their asses and sliced that bitchwhore's head off!"

His anger continued to get worse and worse as he thought more of how unfair the situation was, "Bakugou could've saved them! He has a full party loyal to him and has kept them all alive! It's not fair! That loud bastard with those stupid explosion powers! Shielders aren't supposed to have them! And apparently this power he has was just something he was born with., some people just get all the luck with the gods don't they?! I could've done more with such powers too, I would destroy the waves and rule this world myself! I'll kill every tyrant and rule it as its true king! With that power, nobody will compare to me! Nobody! I'll kill every single bastard who dares to think they could be better than me!" He shouts now feeling a great amount of envy. Envy of power he wished he had, a power he would use to get his revenge.

And the sword noticed.

He then received a message, "d0 y0u s33k PoWeR?"

"Yes, yes I do." He responds to it.

"D0 y0u w1sH t0 hav3 th3 PoW3r 0th3rs h0Ld?"

"Yes! Yes! I desire that power more than any of those evil bastards! I want what they have!" Ren shouts.

And with the response a new skill tree was unlocked, *series unlocked: Sword of envy*

With this embrace of this new power, Ren's sword transformed, now taking a more demonic form along with a bright green glow as it emitted its own miasma of corruption from itself.

Ren's eyes also glowed green as he fully embraced this new sword, "Yes, I feel it now. I feel the power! I now hold the power those idiots throw around! It's now mine!" he shouts with his voice now sounding demonic as well.

Ren immediately stabs the sword into the deep water and with his burning envious hatred of his fellow heroes, the water parts away no longer surrounding him while bright green crystals begin forming around the area, no longer was the sword hero going to be controlled by water, now the water was controlled by him.

Corrupt Ren waves the sword around feeling the power flow through it, "I'm at least even with those two, but I won't be able to fight Bakugou with my lack of mastery of this new weapon. I must fully master this, and once I have absolute control of this power, I'll have my revenge, and soon I'll be the number one hero! A hero with a new team, Bakugou's party will be mine soon and I'll be the sole hero to stop the waves. And if anyone interferes, my blade will sever their heads." He finished and he began to solo train with his weapon to truly master it and as he said get his revenge.

Back up within the castle, a maid had just finished dusting some decorative suits of armor and was off to dust the next set.

This maid was Piece of Shit himself. Even after his daughter Malty became Queen, his punishments from before were still in effect, despite Lesty, Elena, and the 3 heroes church being pardoned for their crimes.

The former king just assumed Malty was just in the process of that and would pardon him soon and get out of this humiliating job for good.

Though even he thought it was so strange for Mirellia to just set aside and abdicate the throne like that. And even more confusing was her crowning Malty as the new ruler. He thought part of the reason for her and him making Melty was to make her the new heir to the throne when Malty was getting extremely problematic. Man he still remembered the night his wife told Malty the news and had a huge tantrum for days upon hearing she was no longer going to be Queen.

But now she is the newly crowned Queen of Melromarc or Maltavia as of today apparently. He only hoped she was going to be taking the job more seriously and run this nation responsibly. If there was one positive that will come out of this he may not have to worry about the shield devil anymore and can just rest easy knowing Malty won't tolerate his bullshit along with that traitorous Sword hero as well.

Though in the back of his mind he had conflicting thoughts on his elder daughter in general, in the trial before she repeatedly lied multiple times revealing what evil things she has done like trying to kill her own little sister, lying about being assaulted, even selling off one of her own teammates to human traffickers, along with working with that bastard Balmus and the bow hero to mutiny against him. He tried to rationalize it as much as possible but even for his little girl it was a hard challenge for the older man.

But as he was cleaning he heard some humming and as he turned he saw it was his former wife Mirellia humming to herself while waving her fan on her still beautiful face.

As much as they may now disagree in politics, the old King still deeply loved his wife and wished to be a family again. But even he knew when Mirellia made her mind, it was absolute. Still the old King wanted to try, "Mirellia, I see you're in a happy mood." He says to her.

Mirellia quickly noticed him and nods, "Oh yes Piece of shit, our daughter has done a great job relieving me of so much stress. I've never felt any better." She says with Piece of shit completely oblivious to her brainwashed mind.

"We'll that's good to hear my Queen, I'm glad you've been feeling better. I hope in the coming months you can still help guide our daughter with her Queenship to keep her on the right track." He says back.

"Oh, actually I won't be here for long. I'm leaving Maltavia forever by tomorrow evening. Mirellia casually said.

The former king now looked confused, "Wait forever? To where?" He asked wondering what she was even talking about.

She immediately responds with, "I'm actually remarrying. I'll soon be the new wife to your older brother the King of Faubrey."

"WHAT!?" Piece of Shit shouted, "You're joking right?!"

"No I'm not, tomorrow Faubrey is sending over transport to pick me up and I'll be heading off toward Faubrey to have our wedding." Mirellia still casually responds.

"Mirellia! You know well about my brother and what he does to his "wives"! Why do you think most of them are either criminals or murderers?! Why even agree to such a thing?! Did he demand you directly!?" The former King shouts knowing more than anyone why it should be avoided to become the new Queen of Faubrey.

"Oh no, this is all Malty's idea." Mirellia responded

"What?! Malty set you up with this and you just agreed to it?" He expressed not wanting to believe this. Even Malty of all people should know about her own uncle's reputation with women.

Mirellia nods back still smiling, "Yes, our daughter is a good Queen isn't she? She is also going to deal with her problematic little sister as well."

"Wait Melty is here as well?" He asked with Mirellia nodding and pointing down the hall toward the throne room.

"They are both in there right now, conducting Melty's trial." Mirellia responded still pointing to the throne room doors.

"What?! Trial?!", Piece of shit expressed and without hesitation ran down the hallway until he was right by the doors to the throne room, after making up an excuse to the guards that he was there to clean up once the Queen was done, and was allowed in.

Once in, he sees the room filled with many other people watching the major trial. And to his horror, the old former king saw his younger daughter Melty chained up and muzzled with multiple guards surrounding her.

And at the throne herself was Malty along with the spear and bow hero. And not far from them was the entire team of the sword hero's, including Eclair and Scarlet.

This little hearing had gone on for a few minutes with Malty already wrapping it up, "So Melty Melromarc, for your treachery against Maltavia's Queen by working with rebels to usurp the crown for yourself. I hereby declare you guilty of treason and sentence you to death!"

"WHAT!?" Piece of shit expressed, even if he missed the entire trial the former king couldn't believe what he just heard.

"You'll be executed tonight, by guillotine. So say your final prayers before you lose the means of making them." Myne continued, enjoying all the power she had now with no one stopping her.

Melty tried to yell through her muzzle, but no one could hear what she was shouting.

Nobody liked how this trial went or of Princess Melty's sentence, knowing it was all a sham. The guards that surround her would rather let the princess go, but the Spear and Bow heroes were both watching closely, ready to kill those who didn't follow the Queen's orders.

They then drag Melty away to the dungeons with everyone else leaving the throne room as the court readies for the poor girl's execution.

Malty grins wildly more than ever, "Oh is this going to be the best night of my life." She says as she leaves her throne to ready herself for her sister's execution in a few hours.

Piece of shit still couldn't believe what transpired and immediately ran up to Malty, "Malty, er uh.. Queen Malty please wait a minute!" The former king shouted getting Myne's attention.

"Ah, good to see you again Father. I hope you've been enjoying the job of a servant these last few weeks or so." Malty casually said not really caring what her own father was shouting about.

"Malty what are you doing with Melty?" He asked hoping to hear this was all a bunch of jokes or misunderstandings.

"Oh Melty unfortunately got too arrogant for her own good and attempted to take my crown through force. The heroes thankfully stopped her and she will be dealt like any other treasonous traitor." Malty responds.

"But Malty, she is your little sister! She is not even a teenager yet?!" Piece of shit raised his voice hoping she would understand what she was doing.

"So? A traitor is a traitor. Her being family is irrelevant here in court." She makes up, not caring in the slightest

"But did you even let her defend herself or speak out with that thing in her mouth? What if it was a misunderstanding?" He argued back.

"Since when did you care about that? You've done the same with the devil of the shield, didn't you." Malty threw back.

"I… well I… that was different… he was… he was… please Malty reconsider this whole thing!" the former King stutters and yells back.

"I'm the judge and my decision was final. Please just drop it Father, I need to get myself ready for tonight." Malty expressed getting annoyed by her father's pestering.

Piece of shit though wasn't going to stop himself, "Malty as your father, I'm demanding you to end this execution at once!" He demanded.

This instantly gets Malty's attention as she turns back now looking angry, "Excuse me?!" She raised her voice toward him.

"I'm demanding you to stop what you are doing right now young lady! You are to free your sister and then end your mother's engagement to-AAHH!" Piece of shit was then interrupted after Malty clawed him across the face with her sharp nails.

Motoyasu then kicked the former king on the ground, Itsuki then stepped his foot on Piece of shits head.

Malty then looks down at him, "Listen and listen well you stupid old man! I have the crown! And I have the throne now! I'm in charge here, this is my kingdom and what I say will go! You are nothing more than a failed disgraced hero who allowed himself to lose his own kingdom and family twice! That little brat will lose her head tonight and I'm going to display her head on top of my throne! And the old hag will be out of my life for good as she enjoys being uncle's new wife until she is dead as well! And no one will say otherwise!" She yells at her father making it clear who is in charge now.

Piece of shit just looked endlessly disturbed, "Malty, how.. how could you allow yourself to kill your own family? Is the spear and bow trying to-Ow!" He says until Itsuki steps on his head harder.

Malty then laugh, "Hahahahahahaha! Oh father you are so stupid. What matters is power and now I have all the power I will ever need. I only played nice to you before to get my way with you as king. But now you are worthless to me as nothing more than a maid who can't hold his own vassal weapon anymore. I was originally thinking of just freeing you, but now I think I'll let you rot as a maid for the rest of your miserable life. Now make yourself useful and sweep the throne floors." She mocks him as Malty and the heroes take their leave to get ready for the execution for tonight.

Piece of shit though now looked utterly broken. His little girl, one who he raised with his new wife since she was just a newborn. One he would play with and tell her stories long ago. That little girl was there no more, now all he saw was an evil tyrant who played him like a fiddle and allowed it to happen.

It deeply saddened the former King, But he knew now something needed to be done about this, something he'll knows will paint a target on himself, but he would not let any more of his family be killed by monsters. It just so happens that this monster was his older daughter, "I will save you Melty. I will save you." He says to himself.

Out from the corner secretly watching on was Elena who could feel what the old king was feeling right now. Like Piece of shit, she knew it will get herself in hot water if she was discovered, but now she also had enough of Malty as Queen.

After looking around to make sure no one was looking, Elena rolled a large orb down to Piece of Shit.

Once it hit his leg, the old king noticed it and knew what it was. He grabbed and hid it away. He looked toward where it came from but the thrower had already left.

Piece of shit sighed to himself in some relief, knowing he had at least one ally to help him.

Only 10 minutes later the corrupted Spear hero was in his own private room cleaning himself up for Melty's execution, "Oh my darling Archangel will be so happy soon, once her evil sister is gone all that will remain is that bastard Bakugou and I'll be happy to be the one to vaporize him from the bottom up." He gloats as he washes his hair still trying hard to get rid of the pink dye.

"Ow!" He shouted after getting hit on the back of the head. As he turned he didn't see anybody, but he did find a rock on the floor wrapped with a piece of paper.

"What is this?" He says as he picks it up and removes the paper on the rock. He quickly saw it had writing on it. Before he didn't know how to read the world's language but during the time when Mirellia forced him and Itsuki into a bunch of training before and after the Spirit Tortoise incident they were forced to learn the basics of this world's writing in their limited off time, not to mention being forced to learn it by himself while wandering the streets before finding Malty again, it was hard for him to put it together at first but got the gist of the note that said *Hide in corner of this location and find out more about your archangel. By EH.*

Motoyasu didn't know who this EH was but his lust filled mind made him love anything involving his Archangel and decided to follow where the note wanted him to go. He walked for a bit until he was right at the location that notably didn't have anyone else around.

"Let's make this quick Itsuki you know I need to get ready." Said a voice Motoyasu instantly recognized. He quickly peaked right around the corner and saw it was his Archangel Malty herself, but what then confused him was that she was with the Bow hero Itsuki.

Itsuki smiles smugly back, "I just want to make sure we're in confirmation of our deal "your Majesty", it's been over a day and you have yet to pick your new King to rule with you?" He says to her.

Malty sighed to herself but continued her smile, "In due time Sir Itsuki, I like to ensure my regime is fully secure first before picking a husband. But I assure that I will marry you and make you the new King."

'What?!' Motoyasu shouted in his head to hear such a thing from his love.

Itsuki smiles at that, "Good, it would be inconvenient if all those that are under my control were to turn against you and just make me King by force." he says making his veiled threat obvious.

Malty just smiled and nodded knowing what game Itsuki was playing, "Indeed it would, of course it would also be trouble for any such usurper to keep his kingdom and court stable after taking it by force. For the best of both of us let's allow our alliance to prosper and we shall rule with an iron fist together. With my great and strong hero king beside me." she says while now holding Itsuki's hand sensually. Course in her head she already has a plan to make sure that she would stay on top of the relationship.

Itsuki smiles at that, glad to have his ego stroked, "I like the sound of that. Though one more thing, I hope you allow me to take sole control over Rishia soon, I want to give proper justice to that traitorous bitch soon and make sure she suffers for every moment until I personally send her to hell." he says to her.

"I fully understand my love, once I get a better mage like her as my new retainer, you can have Rishia and you may do whatever you want with her. I intend to do the same with that imbecile Motoyasu." Malty responds which makes the secretly watching Spear hero feel worse and worse.

Itsuki liked the sound of that as he and Malty got closer, "I'm glad we have such a good relationship together my Queen." Itsuki says sensually even with his demonic voice.

"A perfect King with the perfect Queen." Malty says back with the two now kissing each other.

And around the corner to witness the whole thing was a horrified spear hero. His mind was too corrupted to care about the political manipulations or the proposed torture of people, but both witnessing his archangel kissing that evil bastard Itsuki and hearing that she plans to marry him willfully and make him her King was making his heart almost break apart.

"Nononononono, this can't be, there has to be an explanation for this." he cried quietly to himself not wanting to alert the two in the hall as he just started to leave back to his room.

"No this has to be me seeing things, my archangel loves me and I love her back. I can't allow this to break me, no no no no. My love has a good reason for this, my love has a good reason for this, my love has a good reason for this." He repeatedly says to himself to not make him lose faith in the only woman he loves now. All other women just looked like literal Pigs to him, and his lust spear is doing all it can to keep that in mind to maintain its control.

As he stumbles away, from another corner of a hallway the one who threw Motoyasu that rock letter in the first place was also watching, Elena Haven. She knew this was the only way to tell him anything since he can no longer understand the words of any other woman. She also knew that this wouldn't fully break him from his mindless devotion to Malty, but it had definitely started forming big cracks around it.

Even then as much as she denies it herself, she starts to feel sorry for her former leader, both from Myne's abuse and how sad he is now. But now she had to move away and be ready for the big execution soon.

Hours pass by with the sun now down. Melty's execution is near as the poor girl remains chained up and muzzled, with the Spear hero looking down at her guards to make sure nothing funny happens to allow Melty to escape.

Queen Malty was heading her way toward the high podium to get the best seat in the courtyard to enjoy every moment of Melty's beheading. Once near her seat, next by it was a nervous religious man who smiled while sweating a bit, "Ah, good to see you again Pope Laman." Malty says to the religious man.

"Oh oh, good to see you to your majesty. Just figured I come here to witness the sinner getting punished. Your judgment is very wise indeed." Laman says doing his best to suck up to the New Queen.

"I hope you have the preparations for that holy war ready so I can properly declare it on Tervein?" Malty asked him.

"Yes yes of course, the documents have been set up. Once you have the troops organized and ready, you may start your invasion in Tervein and I shall make sure it is all justified to the world along with other wars you are planning soon." Laman says to her.

Malty smiles happily to see the new head of the church learning his place as she sits down. When she made the 3 heroes church the kingdom's national religion again, she made sure the most weak minded and cowardly of them would lead the new church, to not have an ambitious power hungry Pope like Balmus leading them again and attempting to overthrow her once more. Laman was one of the first to make a run for it when Wrath corrupted Bakugou and his Dragon went on a rampage in their battle, so she knew how weak willed he was.

The rest of the 3 heroes church hated that a spineless weakling was the Pope now, but they tolerated it for now as Malty was allowing them to even exist again and rule Melromarc's or now Maltavia's religious world once more.

The Brainwashed Sword hero's party was next to her, wanting them to be close to protect and do as their Queen commands them.

On her other side were Lesty, Itsuki, and Elena. The former two were also excited about the execution but the latter just looked nervous and worried, she hoped no one was paying attention to her, thinking she was hiding something which she was. But thankfully her "friends" were all watching from above as Melty was pushed forward toward her guillotine.

The young princess continued to yell from her muzzle, but it was no use as she was finally placed on the guillotine with its blade high up, ready to cut its next victim's head.

Usually there would be a lot of chanting from the crowd who would be excited for the execution of an evil person, but instead the entire courtyard was silent with people watching in horror at the poor princess about to be executed. They would yell in protest including the guards, but are forced to remain silent as the Spear hero watches around tapping his corrupt spear ready to vaporize anyone who dares protest his Archangel's word.

Malty then snapped her fingers to cue a drumroll to break the silence as one poor guard approached near the guillotine to be the one to pull the lever and end the life of the princess.

The guard stood there for a few more seconds until the drumroll reached its climax with Malty smiling evilly as she slid her thumb across her neck.

With no choice, the guard was forced to approach the lever. Until he saw a random black ball rolling on the ground, but before he could wonder what that was

*Boom*

But suddenly a small explosion goes off in the middle of the courtyard that blinded everyone for a few seconds from flashing light created by the ball that turned out to be a big smoke bomb as a huge cloud of smoke spreads across the yard. Making it hard to see with everyone there coughing.

Including Malty who knew something was off and yelled, "Pull the lever now!".

The now dazed guard ran near the guillotine quickly and went for the lever he could barely see then pulled it.

This made the blade of the guillotine fall.

Still Brainwashed Scarlet then used her wings and wind magic to blow away all of the smoke in the area clearing it up.

Everyone looks back in the center, and to Malty's horror, the guillotine fell but there was no head in the basket next to it, nor a headless body either.

"Where is she!? Where is that brat!? Find her or someone else will be replacing her there!" Malty yells out loud now absolutely furious.

Everyone looks around themselves, though most only do it out of fear. If they did see anything they rather let the princess get away than have her back up there.

"Over there my lady!" Shouted Brainwashed Eclair pointing to one corner where she noticed a cloaked figure carrying the Princess over their shoulder as they ran through the castle.

"After them now!" Malty shouted.

Motoyasu was the first to react and fired multiple energy spears toward the princess kidnapper. His spears all missed but he still pursued the kidnapper with Itsuki following him along with numerous guards.

The kidnapper continues holding on to Melty on his shoulder as he rushes his way through the castle while dodging any incoming guards.

Melty was completely confused by the situation but didn't question this random stranger who just saved her life.

Motoyasu fired one energy spear that missed but Melty used it to cut her chains finally freeing herself from them as she also took off the muzzle even while she was still being carried, "Thank you for saving me sir." She says to her kidnapper.

"Don't thank me yet until we are no longer being chased Melty." The kidnapper says back. Melty looked surprised to hear that voice and immediately recognized who this person was.

The chase continued throughout the castle as the corrupted Spear and Bow heroes kept up with their pursuit of the kidnapper firing what they could, but this man was a lot more agile than he looked and seemed to know this castle from the back of his hand.

The kidnapper did many crazy stunts like sliding across the ledges of stares to get down the stairs faster, jumping out of one window, and even using a chair to launch himself with Melty in the air to grab a chandelier to get to the other side of a room. All the while avoiding guards and attacks from the heroes.

Eventually the kidnapper made his way to the castle's drawbridge which was already down thanks to the same person who gave him the smoke bomb. They were now on their way out into the city,

But before the two were off the drawbridge, a magic barrier appeared in front of the kidnapper and Princess, stopping them in their place.

This barrier was created by mind controlled Rishia using her magic to stop them in their tracks.

The Bow and Spear hero finally caught up along with Queen Malty and the rest of her new mind controlled retinue.

Malty clapped a little toward the two, "Very good, very good show sir, almost escaped here with the brat. But you failed thanks to my minions and heroes. Now who are you exactly good Sir and why defy your Queen?" She mocks and then asks the kidnapper.

But without hesitation, the kidnapper takes off his hood to show everyone that he was the former king of Melromarc himself, Piece of shit.

"Father!? You dare go against your Queen!?" Malty yells not believing her incompetent father would do a stunt like this.

"Malty, what you are doing is not rulership. This is pure vanity and greed, you're already acting too much like my brother. Including having zero value in your family." Piece of shit says back, expressing his deep disappointment in her as a father.

Malty though isn't taking the scolding well, "I'm Queen now! I'm the only one who matters in this Kingdom! You are nothing more than filth that needs to be cleansed! Both you and the brat!" She yells and turns to Motoyasu, "Execute them both NOW!" She screams.

"Yes my Archangel!" Motoyasu says ready to vaporize the two.

However while they were talking Melty took advantage of their pause to secretly cast a spell, and in just seconds from the moat below a large wall of water formed between himself and her father with her sister's group.

Motoyasu was blinded by his devoted lust for Myne and didn't think about it and still fired his beam attack at the water wall.

Myne though realized what kind of wall this was and yelled, "Motoyasu wait don't-"

*Boom*

The attack hits the magic water wall, which not only stops the attack it backfires, not only blowing apart a chunk of the drawbridge but also blows away the Spear and Bow heroes, Queen Malty, and all of her retinues, sending them all falling down into the castle moat.

But as for the former King and young Princess, the intense power of the attack made the King slide across the ground a bit, but thanks to another water barrier Melty also created the two were still standing unharmed and on their feet.

And with the evil Queen and her minions out, Rishia's barrier breaks apart allowing Melty and her father to immediately make a run for it into the city, quickly disappearing into the crowds with the guards not putting much effort to stop or find them.

Back down below the moat the heroes and Queen began to swim themselves out of the moat back on dry land. They were now all wet along with Malty looking absolutely furious. She immediately turns to her source of anger, that being Motoyasu.

She stomp up to him and immediately slaps the corrupt spear hero across the face, "YOU FUCKING IDIOT! Not only did you almost kill me! But you allowed that brat and bastard to escape!" She screams and continues to slap the spear hero across the face over and over again.

"My Archangel, please I'm sorry I didn't mean to-AAH!" Motoyasu tries to apologize only to now get clawed in the face from Myne's sharp nails.

"You can't do anything right! I have given you simple instructions to follow and somehow find ways to screw it up!" She continued yelling at the spear hero.

"I'm… I'm, sorry my Archangel, I-."

"Call me Queen Malty already! I have the crown now and I expect you to remember that!" She yells some more with another slap in the face and a kick in the stomach.

"Sorry my… my Queen." Motoyasu whimpers, most of him feels upset that he made his Archangel so unhappy with his failures. However some parts of him were feeling weird at the back of his corrupt mind. How could a perfect being like her act so cruelly to him as well as repeatedly insulting and hurting him, he still tried to rationalize it as his own stupidity and failures, but it was a thought that was now slowly eating at him, along with what he saw earlier in the castle.

Malty was done scolding him as she pointed her finger up the stairs that lead back to the castle, "The rest of you go and find those traitors and bring me their heads!" She orders her brainwashed retinue and the Bow hero as they quickly recover and head their way back up to find Piece of shit and Melty.

The city guard was also quickly put on high alert as hundreds of knights were forced to look around for the two escapees to satisfy their evil Queen.

Within the city itself, the young princess and former king managed to find a spot to remain hidden, they were down in the city's canal near an entranceway into Melromarc's sewers.

"Looks like we lost them for now." Piece of shit says as he looked around his surroundings.

"Thank you again for saving me Father. How were you able to get passed your personal watch guards and get that smoke bomb?" Melty thanked then asked her father.

"My guards looked the other way not big on your older sister's rule. And thankfully I had help from within the castle, it seems someone within your older sisters court isn't a big supporter of her either." Piece of shit responds, he looks around again to make sure they weren't being pursued as he hears marching from above of guards looking for them, "We need to find a place to hide and think of a plan to get out of this mess." He continued.

Melty nods to that, "I agree Father, but where do we go? If we go too far from the capital we may not find out more of what Malty is planning. Especially with mother." She says.

Piece of shit ponders to himself trying to think of a place they could camp at without leaving the capital itself or that Malty might've already known after she spent time with him on the run.

"Ah there you two are." Said a random voice that freaked Piece of shit and Melty out as they turned toward the tunnel ready to fight whoever it was.

But they just as quickly stand down now seeing the source of that voice, it was Lord Reichnott himself smiling at them.

The two sighed in relief with Melty smiling, "Oh Lord Reichnott, it's you. I'm glad to see you safe after everything Malty has been doing." She says to him.

"Same to you your majesty, it looks like your old father still does have some good in him after all." Reichnott responds acting a bit sarcastic.

Piece of shit sighed in annoyance, he may despise Reichnott for many reasons, but he knew the noble was their only hope right now, "If we are done with pleasantries, how about helping us find a place to camp here."

Reichnott nods back pointing to the tunnel, "Come with me and I'll show you where we can be safe." He says to them with the former king and Princess following the noble.

This was definitely a stressful day for Melty as the princess tried to calm herself down. But in the back of her head she knew their troubles were far from over and had no idea what they were going to do next, 'Oh Sir Bakugou, wherever you are now. Please come back soon or there may not even be a Kingdom left to save from the waves.' She says in her head as the three continue walking there way to Reichnotts hideout.

In another universe, the cardinal Shield hero Katsuki Bakugou, his team, Miss Kizuna, Larc, Glass, Ethnobalt, and even Yomogi were ready to confront the next wave that was just about to happen.

It had been a few days since the death of Kyo. After leaving Raybul the King of Sickle Larc held a celebratory feast of their victory against the evil vassal book hero.

Thanks to Bakugou's holy water and healing magic all of the corruption scars on Kizuna, Larc, and Rifana have all disappeared. They were now free from the dark marks on their skin.

By the next morning though, Raybul was pissed off by the whole thing. They were just about to declare a true war on Sickle, requiring the heroes to appear at a neutral nation to have talks with their representatives with other nations witnessing it.

Larc brought up how Raybul attacked first unprovokedly, right by his nation's dragon hourglass as well as keeping him and Glass as prisoners in the prison of exhaustion without trial. Raybul denies such things or that it was all the book hero's own doing.

However these talks were not remotely in Raybul's favor with many of the representatives of the other nations siding with Sickle. Raybul had lost a significant amount of its global clout after the death of Kyo their national vassal hero along with losing the Katana vassal weapon, whom they now had to acknowledge Neia as the true new wielder of it and wasn't a thief whether they liked it or not.

Kyo was Raybul's secret puppeteer leader pulling the strings on Raybul's government he would secretly control, but with his true death Raybul's weak-willed puppet government has no backbone to it.

So with no vassal weapons in their possession while Sickle now has most of them, including the book and mirror and that no other nation was in support of them other than their closest ally Mikakage who were already under fire over being discovered that they imprisoned Kizuna in the infinite labyrinth. Raybul was forced to end all tensions and back away from declaring war. Saving both nations from such a war while the waves were still occurring.

After that whole thing was dealt with, the heroes returned to Sickle, and as promised the shield and his team were taught as much knowledge this world had to offer. Magic, items, special moves, stuff about the waves, and many other things that could be useful to the offworld heroes.

Neia was also given knowledge of Larc's, Glass's, Kizuna's, and Ethnobalts power up methods, like those the cardinal heroes had. These methods didn't exist according to her menus before, but like the cardinal hero power up methods they work based off on the wielder's belief in them, so after believing in them they finally appeared and are explained in her personal menu, the katana's now allowed Neia to get even stronger.

Bakugou out of curiosity attempted the methods himself, however unlike before with Ren's, Ponytail slut's, and Bow Bitch's methods none of the off world methods worked on his weapon regardless of how much he believed in them.

This seemed to work both ways as Neia is unable to use the power up methods Bakugou provided along with Kizuna, Larc, and Glass.

It seemed that power up methods only work on other cardinal and vassal weapons of the world they originally came from. It annoyed Bakugou but there was nothing he could do about it. However if the vassal weapons here had their own power up methods, perhaps the vassal weapons of the so called seven star heroes did as well. If true, he needs to find out about all seven of these methods as soon as possible and get even stronger. Unfortunately one of them he knew was Piece of shit, he may need the Queen to force it out of the former king to learn it.

Neia has also been playing along with her Shikigami Blue, and finding out new ways the blue spirit can be a support animal of sorts to the group even if Bakugou still wants nothing to do with it.

The heroes had also been reading from Kyo's notes about the waves, though Ethnobalt was doing most of the reading since the heroes are unable to read the language, though Rino is trying to learn it and Ethnobalt thankfully had been able to magically copy all the notes and placed them in Bakugou's storage so once Rino is able to properly translate the language she will be able to find out more of what Kyo knows about the waves in her world.

One of which was about to start, "Remember we are still not buddies here, we're just going to help you deal with this wave, take what items it provides, kill the boss, and head our way out of here." Bakugou says to Larc as he is still stretching himself ready for the battle.

"Whatever you say Kiddo." Larc says back.

"Ok Young Master." Bakugou mocked back

"I told you to stop with that stupid nickname!" Larc yells back with their eternal battle between being nicknamed still continued on.

Bakugou then turned toward Glass, "And you sure the wave won't automatically end if we kill the boss right?" he asked the spirit woman.

Glass nods back, "Yes, since you are here, after the boss is defeated a new timer will form that will tick down until you finally leave and once out of our world the wave will end immediately after, like when we fought before. As long as you don't stay past that timer you should be able to return to your world fine."

"That better be right or I'm going to kick your asses again." He threatened back that the group was just used to by now.

"I can bring the Katanas as well?" Neia asked wondering about that considering these weapons originate from this world.

Larc nods to that, "Yeah it's your weapon now and vassal heroes can travel to different worlds with them, you may be teleported back here in this world if it's in truly dire need of help but other than that you can take it anywhere, and as long we're are doing our jobs it should be fine." he confirms which made Neia happy to hear to not have to worry about her vassal weapons suddenly not working for her in her homeworld.

"It's almost time everyone, be ready for the wave in 3 minutes!" Ethnobalt shouted with the heroes nodding to each other in agreement.

Everyone applied all of their abilities and boosts as they could while drinking the many potions Bakugou provided ready for anything coming at them.

Yogomi then spoke up after she drinks a stamina potion, "Thank you again for allowing me to fight with you Shield hero, I'm be sure to make up for what Kyo as much as I can." she says to Bakugou.

"Just make sure you kill whatever comes out of the portals and I will care less who you worked with before." Bakugou says that makes Yomogi nod back understanding him as they continue to prepare themselves.

The wave timers soon reached their ends

5...4...3...2...1...0

The sky then turned red with strange looking portals appearing.

The heroes of this world teleported away toward the main force of the waves.

Everyone else though was still where they were at before, but not long after that Ethnobalt reappeared again with his flying boat, "Get on quick!" he shouted to the heroes below.

Everyone quickly jumped or teleported on board and Ethnobalt used his magic to teleport away from the capital toward where the other heroes appeared.

Once they reappeared at the location, everyone but Ethnobalt quickly jumps off the airboat, "I'll deal with other portals away from here! I'll come to aid you when I can!" Ethnobalt shouted as he teleported away to deal with the other wave portals.

The heroes were all in a large open field not far from a cliffside next to the ocean.

It only took the heroes a few seconds to realize they were not far from Sickle's capital or Kizuna's cottage. So the wave was occurring extremely close to a heavily populated city, which just makes the heroes more determined to stop this wave and stop the monsters from getting to the city and harming the civilians.

Then a single monster came out of the portal one not far from the cliff side of the field.

This single monster was about a foot taller than Bakugou. It was a human-sized bipedal Ratman, covered in dark black fur with thick red armor covering it throughout its hairy rodent body except for its long naked tail, its rat feet, and parts of its face that had a long rodent snout with sharp front rodent teeth and glowing red eyes, and on its back were multiple spikes that have still rotting heads on them, "Yes yes! My own world-realm to conquer! It will be mine mine!" The rat man yelled as excited as he could ever be, he then looks up toward the portal above he came out of now raising a sharp sword of his up toward it, "Invade-Attack Attack! Now now!" He orders.

In only a few seconds numerous entities began coming out through the portals, they were more ratmen, though they were a little shorter than Bakugou this time. Unlike their red armored overlord though, these ratmen looked to be in rags with rusted crude weapons on hand, some even having chains still on their bodies along with whip scars on a few of them indicating they were all slaves. But there were a great number of them, as they quickly came in by the hundreds as they now started to sprint themselves toward that large city in the distance ready to kill and eat everything inside.

The heroes see the swarm coming their way and were ready to fight it especially Bakugou, "Looks like it's time to deal with the rat infestation." He then looks at his adult form Dragon, "Kirishima! Keep them contained!" He ordered.

Kirishima nodded and then flew high up in the air. Starting from the edge of the side of a high cliff near the ocean, Kirishima lets out a huge stream of fire on the ground, he flew around the area firing into the grass where most of the portals were appearing nearby. This fire was a special ability type fire where it wouldn't spread around like normal fire but would keep the ground on fire, producing 10 feet tall intense flames that went on for miles. Preventing anything from passing through it, keeping the ratmen contained in the area. It will only last a few hours, but hopefully by then the heroes will stop the wave as Kirishima finishes up producing this fire barrier from one cliffside to the other cliffside.

This however didn't deter the ratmen slaves as the swarm of hundreds close to a thousand now began charging at them, though they weren't alone either. Accommodating them were wolf-like rat creatures, with sharp teeth and claws some of whom had glowing poison coming out of their mouths.

But after Kirishima finished his containment fire and back near the group, Rino knowing about rats and there habit of digging then applies a earth spell on the wide area around them, it would solidified the ground from the cliffs to the flames preventing the rats from just digging into the ground to escape around the fires or hide underground later.

The heroes then finally all charged into the huge ratmen horde with Bakugou taking the lead.

He blasts himself toward the horde starting with the rat wolves with a bunch already jumping and pouncing themselves on the shield hero. But once they were close enough to him-

*Boom! Boom! Boom!*

Bakugou lets out explosion after explosion, blowing up a large chunk of these rat wolves as they attempt to jump and overwhelm the hero on all sides, but are unable to even get close.

The ratmen slaves had it even worse as they attempted to do the same on the seemingly weaponless human, only for them to be blown to pieces or sent flying across the battlefield.

And while Bakugou goes on a rampage through the horde, the others finally catch up and attack the ratmen horde.

Neia, Yomogi, and Larc cut down dozens by the second with their blade weapons, Glass, Rifana, and Rino both use their spells to blow up huge groups of them while also using their close range weapons when some get too near them.

Rifana also uses her arrows to go after the slaves who seem to be trying to use sling-like weapons from afar to throw sharp rocks at everyone by the hundreds. But they are of no use against her as she uses her gravity magic to make all of their rock projectiles fall on the ground or on the other slaves. The archer also fires several of her powerful arrows that break apart in the air into hundreds of tiny powerful projectiles killing hundreds of these weak slinger slaves.

Daven goes after any Ratman who looks to be of higher ranking or the tamer packmasters who are the ones coordinating the wolf rats, teleporting at them from behind and stabbing them in the back. Making any remote coordination the slaves may have to quickly fall apart with many now panicking from witnessing so many of their brethren being slaughtered and without the packmaster tamers the rat wolves start going against their masters and attack the ratmen slaves.

Kirishima goes on a pure rampage smashing, eating, and burning all of the ratmen as he goes, and on his back is Rino, the shikigami Blue, and Kizuna helping to kill more rats on him. Unfortunately for the hunter hero these ratmen were being counted as "people" so she can't do harm to them, but not the rat wolves so she kills any of them she sees or the ones that try to jump on Kirishima with Rino and Blue helping as they both conduct multiple spells.

"Keep keep them coming! Don't Don't let these stupid-dumb man-things beat us!" The red armored Ratman overlord shouted.

More ratmen continue to pour in, but more of them are now better armored and equipped with weapons without any rust. These were conscripted clan rats rather than weak slaves. Though despite being better equipped they were still no match for the heroes as they continued to slaughter them as much as the hungry slaves.

Despite the endless amount of troops coming in, the rat overlord was still getting mad at how little progress they made with this invasion as many of the clan rats got slaughtered the same, "There are only ten ten of them you idiot-morons! Kill kill the man-things already!" he yelled forcing the rat horde to continue pressing on hoping to eventually tire out and overwhelm the heroes.

Then from one of the portals above the overlord, 4 individual ratmen came down who were unlike the slaves and clan rats. They were the most important individuals of this rat clan.

One had white fur holding on to a large chain mace morningstar-like weapon wearing brown monk-like robes indicating this rat was of religious importance and seemed to also be blind with bandages covering its eyes relying on his other senses and magic.

Another was grey furred in black leather-like clothing with a long sharp green blade on the end of its tail, he had the word assassin written all over.

Another was a freak of nature, taller than the overlord, fat with strong muscles and brown fur, an extra arm, and had a green glowing crystal lunged into one of its eyes. He carries a large clawed weapon like the other packmasters did, along with two swords with his other arms.

The last one was another white-furred Ratman, but he seemed to have blue armor that was fused to his skin with some cybernetics across his body including a cyborg metal arm and a face mask that showed off his glowing green eyes with a large elaborate metal magic staff.

"About time time! You four are late late!" The overlord yelled.

"Apologies my lord-master. We've had to assemble our troops troops." The rat monk leader said.

"Whatever, just kill kill those man-things now now!" The overlord yelled again.

The mutant packmaster Ratman nodded after eating a glowing green crystal, "Yes yes my lord-master. Bring out out the rat ogres!" He shouted.

And coming through the wave portals along with more clan rats and slaves were the rat ogres, massive 9-foot tall rat monsters, huge hulking brutes with large gorilla-like forearms some having one of their hands replaced with a solid block of green crystals or black spiky maces or knives, there were also some rarer larger variants with cybernetics inserted into their bodies, with the mutant Ratman leader commanding them after jumping on to a rhino sized furless rat monster mount that also came from the portals.

The blind monk Ratman leader waved his arm and out from the portals were other monk ratmen with chain maces or morningstar-like weapons, along with large movable towers, some that were catapults with glowing green boulders as ammo, and others having big bells on them which as they ring they give stronger morale and vigor to the ratmen.

Then the assassin leader waved his arm and other ninja-like ratmen came from the portal holding throwing knives and shuriken's. Other like minded assassins came out and they and the assassin leader just disappeared knowing who they had to target.

The blue armored engineer leader then waved and from the portal out came a bunch of Ratman both holding glowing green flamethrowers and others riding what looked to be single wheel motorbikes the size of snowmobiles driving through a bunch of slaves intending to plow through their targets.

All of these new enemies were charging their way to the heroes.

The heroes saw them coming and knew they had to quickly adjust to these new enemies.

The catapults quickly begin firing, lunging huge green boulders at the heroes. Thankfully these things were large and noticeable allowing the heroes to dodge them including massive Kirishima. They were actually doing more damage to the ratmen troops as many got crushed by the boulders. These ratmen had zero regard for friendly fire.

But Bakugou knew these things had to go as they started getting better and better at aiming at the heroes, as he blasted his way to the catapults.

They were being guarded by the ninja-like ratmen, they at mass started throwing their sharp throwing knives and shuriken ninja stars at the incoming shield hero. But these were no good as Bakugou's shield blocks all these projectiles.

3 of the catapults even tried to target Bakugou directly, but every single green boulder was blasted into pieces. And once Bakugou was in range, he began blowing up the catapults one by one destroying their siege range weapons. All but one to get the attention of the ninja ratmen as they continue throwing all of their knives and ninja stars at him.

"Meteor shield!" Bakugou shouted and activated his energy shield ability as literally hundreds of projectiles were flung and bounced off the defense shield.

In a matter of seconds though, the ratmen ninjas were out of ammo, with nothing left to throw making Bakugou smile, "My turn vermin! Hydra shield!" Bakugou shouted and out from his shield 9 green hydra heads appeared. They quickly began ripping apart the ninja ratmen as they panicked and fled all over with most of them ending up being eaten or burnt from the acid breaths.

While that was going on, Kirishima, Rino, and Kizuna, kept on their momentum killing huge amounts of these ratmen and rat ogres, while big and strong, they were no match to an adult purebred dragon who likes to crunch down on them especially the bigger mutant ones with cybernetics, they were big but not big enough to overpower him. All the while Blue provides defensive spells for them as long as the remain on the dragon.

But while fighting, Rino noticed a new group of ratmen coming from some bushes, "Kirishima on your left!" She warned the dragon.

And from the left were the flame thrower ratmen, with half holding the throwers themselves and the other half carrying the ammo containers on their backs. Immediately when they were in range they fired their weapons that were emitting out a burning hot green sludge at the dragon.

Kirishima reacted fast enough and fired back at the sludge with his fire. This was a crew of twenty against one dragon, but Kirishima's breath was strong enough to hold the sludge back allowing Rino to fire her arcane missiles at the flamer crew quickly killing them, especially the ones holding the ammo itself.

Though they weren't out of trouble yet, "Looks like we got more all around!" Kizuna shouted, and she was right as the four noticed that they were now being surrounded by more of these flamer crews, well over 100 of them. Quickly setting themselves up to kill the group.

Rino quickly whispered something to Kirishima with the dragon nodding in agreement.

The ratmen flamers now had their weapons ready and with no other troops there to interfere they aimed their flamers at their targets, "We got got you now! Open fire fire!" One of the ratmen flamer heads shouted and in unison they fired their burning sludge out.

Kirishima however just launches himself up in the air with the girls still on his back.

The burning green sludge not only missed their target but the ratmen flamers all end up hitting each other on opposite ends.

All of the flamer crews were now screaming in agony as they painfully get burnt and melted from their own weapons.

Any that were lucky to have been missed were quickly sniped out from Rino's spells above.

Kirishima lands back down safe from any more flamers as he and the girls continue to kill off more ratmen.

Not far Daven continued his job of killing off more ratmen leaders and any new packmasters who also controlled and boosted the stats of the monsters like the rat ogres.

And after Daven kills the packmasters, like with the wolf rats the ratmen lose control of the rat ogres and instead of trying to kill the humans or anyone else, the rat ogres and other monsters either start fighting each other or begin mindlessly attacking other ratmen causing mass death and chaos.

Daven was planning on going after more leaders, but then he felt a faint presence in the air. A presence he felt before in his training as a spy and an assassin, training that involves fighting another assassin.

Out of the shadows, the ratman assassin leader appears out of nowhere and attempts to decapitate Daven as he barely dodges the 3 blades the master assassin had in time including the one he had wrapped around his tail, "Hmm, Rare for for anyone to dodge my attack-moves. But it won't matter soon soon." The master Ratman assassin says with 7 other high rank assassins appearing around Daven.

It was overwhelming odds against him, but the former assassin enjoyed the challenge and continued his confident smile. The ratmen assassins go all out attacking Daven at the same time forcing Daven to go on the defensive as the hero scout and rogue blocked and dodge each attack from the ratmen assassins, avoiding their blades, claws, and smoke bombs they throw. Some of the ratmen assassins seemed to also have similar abilities of teleporting as they play a literal game of cat and mouse (or catman and rat). Some clan rats and slaves try to also attack Daven, but he dodges them as well with the assassins usually just killing their fellow ratmen that get in the way to their glory of the kill.

Daven did outwit two of them, managing to slit the neck of one and had another accidentally get stabbed by another rat assassin.

The other Assassins especially their leader were becoming more persistent doing all they could to kill this annoying pest already.

Daven then teleports a few feet away to make a run for it and get some help-

*Stab*

Only to get a green blade going right through his heart as he looks in pain to see the Ratman Assassin leader being the one to have done it, "Hahaha, so weak weak!" He mocks Daven, and with another blade the ratman Assassin leader completely chops the hero scout's head off with the rest of his body collapsing on the ground.

"Hahahahahaha! Victory is mine mine! Hahahahaha!" The master Assassin laughed with the remaining 5 high-ranked assassins laughing with him, even if they were somewhat resentful for not getting the kill themselves.

The assassin leader continued to mess around with the decapitated head a bit until he decided to open its mouth to eat his reward meal-

*crunch*

"Blah! Ugh! What what is that horrible taste taste!?" The assassin leader complained, not only tasting metal but the head also had some weird smelling liquid that wasn't blood now all over his mouth. He also now smelled something as if it was burning.

And unknown to them the real Daven himself was still alive and well. He then snapped his fingers, revealing the severed head and body being another shadow clone coated in dark magic with the head being a cantaloupe sized metal ball. A ball full of Bakugou's sweat, one that had a short sparking detonating cord on.

Before the master assassins could react by either removing the cord or throwing the metal ball far away-

*BOOM*

The metal ball of sweat exploded, instantly killing 3 of the high rank assassins as well as the leader master assassin who was now just the lower half of a body.

Another assassin was nearly dead as it tried to crawl away, only to be killed by the last remaining high rank assassin who also stole his weapon, "Now now I'm the leader of the-AH!" Only for him to get stabbed in the back by Daven while the assassin was distracted.

And with the assassins taken care of Daven goes back to attacking important ratmen and leaders.

In another part of the battlefield Larc, Glass, Yogomi, and Neia had been engaging in combat with numerous ratmen. Many were easy slaves or clan rats with occasional rat ogres, but now they were engaging a force that looked to be like monks or were a part of a religious cult who unlike the slaves and clan rats had no fear of dying and were trying all they can to kill the vassal heroes.

But they were no match for the 4 as they sliced them up easily.

Neia then heard some laughing and not far was what looked to be a ratman wizard in white robes and had horns on its head, standing on one of the movable bell towers, "Hahahahaha! Worthless-stupid Elf-thing thing! You are no match to the power-strength of the great Horned rat!" He brags and with his magic, dark clouds appear in the sky over Neia with it emitting some green electricity.

The green electricity got thicker and more prominent until the horned wizard waved his hand down, and immediately a mass of green electricity zapped down on Neia like lightning.

"Hahahahaha! Stupid stupid Elf-thing is now-Huh!?" The horned rat wizard bragged until he saw that Neia was not only unharmed, but the lightning actually energized her with a great amount of power of now blue electricity coursing through her body.

Before the wizard could attempt another different spell Neia from one of her Katana's zaps the wizard with lightning so intense, it blew the wizard up into a million fried bloody pieces along with the bell tower he was on.

With still a lot of energy left over, Neia went on a rapid killing spree slicing up rats like nothing including the large rat ogres.

Larc, Yogomi, and Glass themselves were even having trouble keeping up with the Katana hero in the mass killing. But not far from them, a large group of 12 more horned rat wizards begin conducting their own massive spell, like with the wizard before they were going to zap the three with an even more powerful green lightning spell that will be hard to dodge.

Larc, Yogomi, and Glass though saw this coming and were ready to jump out of the way.

But before they could, Neia used the last of that boosted energy to super jump in the middle and once again got zapped and juiced up from even bigger bolts of green lightning.

"Off the ground now!" Neia shouted to Larc and Glass who knew what was going to happen as Glass grabbed Yomogi with her and Larc super jumping themselves in the air.

The huge monk ratmen horde along with other clan rats all attempt to swarm Neia with the group of wizards using more magic to boost the troops while quickly trying to conduct another offensive spell.

But unfortunately for the ratmen, a super energized Neia then stabs her Katanas on the ground and lets out a huge mass of electricity across the area.

Hundreds of rats from the wizards, the monks, the clan rats, the slaves, and even the large rat ogres were all being painfully electrocuted as their nervous systems got fried.

Neia finally stops after all the excess electricity from her body is used up. And from that attack alone, hundreds of ratmen fall dead on the ground. Even if this wasn't the full wave horde Neia vaporized a good chunk of it and killed off the unbreakable monk armies along with the horde's main magic support.

Once it was clear Glass, Yomogi, and Larc dropped back down near Neia, "Great work Kiddo, nice killing move." Larc congratulates her.

Neia nods and smiles back, "Thank you, Larc but it's not over yet, we should now try to take out-"

"Duck!" Glass shouted as she, Yomogi, Larc and Neia immediately ducked for cover under a large dead mutant rat ogre as streams of green energy flew across the battlefield.

"What's attacking us!?" Larc yelled with Neia just as confused.

"Some long range attackers over there!" Yomogi responded barely looking over the dead rat ogre to point at the ones firing those green energy streams.

They were 40 ratmen with what looked to be long sniper rifles firing their deadly energy bullets to try to hit targets. The sniper rifles were far too big for anyone to use, but this was compensated with other ratmen in front of the snipers holding up wooden triangular shields to act as platforms for the long guns.

The snipers continued to fire near the dead rat ogre to kill the 4 with headshots. They knew those 4 had to eventually leave and if not reinforcements will eventually come by to help force them to move out.

However their focus on the 4 made them unaware of Rifana, who spotted the snipers and knew she had to help her teammate and new friends.

After a good jump in the air, Rifana fires two sharp arrows toward the snipers, but not at the snipers themselves but at the ratmen holding up the platforms who were thankfully all lined up in 2 rows. Like paper the arrows went through head after head of the platform ratmen, killing them all instantly. And with all of them dead the snipers were now useless with no way for them to pick up and aim their overly large guns.

The snipers struggled to do anything to get their rifles to work again only to get an encounter from a certain shield hero.

*Boom*

They get blasted away with all their rifles getting destroyed.

With the threat neutralized Larc, Glass, Yomogi, and Neia sprang up from the large corpse and got back into the battle.

After he killed the snipers though Bakugou got the attention of a different group of rats. These ones being on the deadly single wheel motor vehicles.

One attempted to run over him only for the shield hero to blast himself out of the way over the single wheel motorbike and blasted away the rider with the bike crashing into a bunch of ratmen.

4 more came out from different directions as they tried to go for the kill. But this time, just when they were a few seconds from crushing the shield hero, Bakugou blasted himself in the air as the 4 motorbikes smashed into each other.

But that wasn't the end of them, over 12 more single wheel motorbikes came to the scene and aimed for him. There were also 5 even bigger vehicles that looked to be a giant version of the motorbikes that resembled hamster wheels of sorts with many sharp objects in the front that also emitted green lightning bolts from the side, with one cyborg rat piloting it and another rat powering it near the back pumping some sort of bellows-like device. From what Bakugou could hear from some of the ratmen they refer to this thing as a "Doomwheel".

They were all now aiming for the shield hero to run over.

Bakugou knew he could pick these things off one by one, but as he looked toward the horizon he thought a better idea.

He uses his quirk to maneuver away from the chasing one wheel motorbikes and Doomwheels, but as they chase him they are running over numerous ratmen crushing them and turning them into roadkill. The doomwheels also fire off many lightning bolts to zap him but these are nothing to the shield hero who can block the bolts even while moving.

This chase went on for around a minute as Bakugou continued blasting himself away from the rat vehicles that were still chasing him, except one that had the unfortunate luck of accidentally crashing into a rat ogre killing it and itself instantly.

But the chase seemed to have come to an end as Bakugou stopped himself as he slid on the ground until he stopped and smiled at the chasing rat vehicles who were tempted to kill the stupid human into bloody pieces as they increased the speeds of their vehicles, ready to run him over.

But like with the 4 motorbikes before, Bakugou just in time blasted himself in the air as the motorbikes and Doomwheels all zoom passed him.

And unfortunately for the rats again, Bakugou led them right off a cliff.

All the motorbikes and Doomwheels fall down along with the ratmen drivers. They all crashed into the ocean with the vehicles sinking and the ratmen almost immediately getting eaten by sharks and other sea monsters waiting below for more easy pickings.

"Ha, dumb vermin." Bakugou mocks them and after that goes back into fighting the battle again blasting more and more ratmen away.

Observing all of this from afar, the red armored ratman overlord was pissed off, "Damn Damn Man-things! Those units cost me me big-amount!" He shouts and looks back at the remaining rat leaders minus one assassin leader, "Bring bring in the best we have including the stormvermin! Kill those stupid man-thing things!"

The ratman leader engineer and packmaster mutant nodded and yelled out above to bring their best.

More deadly specialist teams began to come from the portals, along with new troops. These were the stormvermin who unlike the slaves and clan rats were trained disciplined soldiers holding the best quality weapons and armor amongst the ratmen army.

The most horrifying things to come from the portals were their most advanced monsters. These monsters were nearly impossible to describe looking like wingless worm-like dragons with a large main "head" with no eyes but a mouth full of sharp teeth and multiple other rat heads sewed on the top half of its body, the rest of the upper body that was standing upright had many arms and giant mutated rat appendages stitched together. And on its longer lower half many legs drag the massive thing across the ground along with a wooden wheel fused with the organic body to help it move its massive body with a long naked rat tail at the end of it. They were around Kirishima's size and looked to be abominations that came from the pits of hell itself.

One of them rapidly started to approach Kirishima himself, "What in the actual hell is that thing?!" Kizuna yelled barely comprehending what she was even seeing.

"Whatever it is we should kill it as fast as possible!" Rino shouted back.

Kirishima immediately engaged the abomination with the two monsters fighting each other, swiping and biting at one another. Despite the thing looking literally stitched together the abomination was surprisingly strong being able to hold its own against the powerful dragon, it didn't help these abominations had what looked to be regenerative powers from any wound it suffered from, though it did seem like this regeneration was severely weakened from fire. Though to make the battle more intense 2 more abominations were waddling their way to attack from the sides.

But after Rino and Kizuna dealt with enough ratmen and rat ogres still trying to swarm them, Blue creates a minor barrier around themselves as Rino creates a light spell that lit up the area, and this not only causes the ratmen pain and near blindness but with the monsters as well including the abominations. It seemed these underground creatures were not used to bright sunlight. Kizuna then made her move as she jumped from Kirishima on top of the abomination. Then with her weapon in its sword form, she stabbed it directly on top of its main head, it wasn't enough to kill it but it weakened it enough for Kirishima to finish the job as he bit and ripped the abominations whole main head off after Kizuna jumped off back on the dragon.

Rino then fired an intense light beam at the other abomination on the left vaporizing its head off, despite this one missing a good chunk of the top half of its body it still squirmed around until Kirishima put it out of its misery by smashing its main head with his foot.

The last one finally getting itself out of the daze of the bright light attempts to attack the dragon, but Kizuna transforms her weapon into its fishing pole form and with it she wraps up the top half of the abomination with the strong fishing rope.

"Rino blast below this thing's waist!" Kizuna yelled toward Rino who did just that and blasted another light energy beam below the abomination's top half still insnared by the hard fishing string with the abomination now cut in half.

"Now breathe on it Kirishima!" she then yelled and the dragon breathed fire on the half abomination as it squirms around in pain all the while the fireproof string remained intact.

Kizuna then made her move, like with catching massive monster fish she used the strength and magic of her weapon to lift up half of the still burning half abomination, where she then turned the thing into a massive burning wrecking ball as she swung the thing around smashing away at hundreds of ratmen and even a couple rat ogres. She may not be able to kill "people" directly, but nothing stops her from throwing around a heavy burning blunt object.

It seemed this "blunt object' though was at its end and starting to fall apart. Kizuna then noticed another abomination heading its way. So with her strength and magic, she swings the last of the burning half abomination high in the air and then smashes it right into the other abomination. Destroying the burning half abomination and crushing the full now dead abomination.

Kizuna reels her string back as she, Rino, Blue, and Kirishima continue on their killing spree.

These weren't the only abominations though as Larc, Yomogi, Glass, and Neia were engaging one as it tried to smash or eat the 4 of them.

Glass though blasted one of its arms off with Neia slicing half of its legs off, despite the things regeneration it takes time for it to grow back limbs. Not helping it like the other abominations is also producing some green electricity around itself which like before just energized Neia who stabbed a blade in its side and electrified the abomination. It wasn't enough to kill it, but Larc finished the job by using his scythe to slice the top half of the monster's body off.

The monster's top half was still alive and tried to kill Larc only for Neia to jump and stab the half monster's main head and quickly cut off the stitched together rat heads as well for good measure.

Larc gave a thumbs up, "Good work again kiddo, after you save your world if you want to, you can come live with us and-"

"Larc pay attention to your sides!" Glass yelled and alerted the young king as he barely dodged being stabbed by a claw like weapon and ran over by one of the rhino-sized hairless rats being ridden like a mount, with its rider being the mutant packmaster leader and not far behind him were a couple other of these hairless rats with riders of there own.

The mutant packmaster leader attempts to charge at Larc again with the scythe hero ready to fight it this time.

"Tortoiseshell cracker!" Glass yelled and fired her attack at the packmaster leader. He managed to block the attack, but the force of it was enough to push him off the mount. But being knocked off wasn't enough to stop him as the mutant packmaster ran up and attacked Larc.

His mount attempts to kill Glass but Neia manages to quickly kill it as she jumps on its back and stabs it through the eye all the way to the other side.

She, Yogomi, and Glass engaged the other rhino-sized hairless rats and there riders along with more troops of stormvermin.

The battle between Larc and the mutant packmaster continued to be a more even fight than expected. Despite him being a skilled vassal weapon wielder the mutant packmaster was a freak of nature attacking him with all three arms with tremendous strength and skill especially after it ate another green crystal making him faster and stronger than before.

The battle was intense and it seemed that Larc was now in a vulnerable position as the mutant packmaster had him in a weapon lock with a sword and the claw weapon holding Larc and his vassal weapon down. But the Mutant had a third arm and sword and was ready to cut him down.

"Reverse four seasons!" Glass yelled who just finished killing the rhino-sized hairless rats as she jumped toward the duel and with her fans managed to cut the mutant packmaster's third arm off saving Larc, and from its shock of that injury the scythe hero managed to push back the mutant packmaster out of the weapon lock.

The packmaster was now forced to fight two opponents at the same time, but even after losing his extra arm the mutant was still able to fight back. He then jumped back and was about to eat another one of those green crystals giving him power. Only for it to be zapped into pieces, from a volt by Neia who finished dealing with the stormvermin as Yomogi helps fight off any other slaves or clan rats attempting to jump in to aid him.

The mutant packmaster panics and immediately tries to get himself another crystal, but before he can Glass drinks a soul-soothing potion and with her own boosted strength pounces and attacks the surprised Packmaster mutant extremely aggressively, giving him no time to boost his own stats.

And with the mutant distracted Larc yells to Neia, "How about a little juice to fill my scythe up!" he yelled and Neia Immediately knew what he meant and fired a powerful volt of electricity on the vassal weapon combining the spell like Glass had done before.

Glass then hits the mutant packmaster in his only working eye hard causing the mutant leader immense pain and temporary blindness.

Larc took that opening as he jumped and threw down his weapon on the mutant.

The mutant packmaster finally got over his dizziness and looked horrified to see the sharp electric blade heading right toward him, he first raised his arm with the sword up only for that arm to be cut off by Yomogi, now coming in after dealing with any surrounding ratmen.

The mutant tried to raise up his last remaining claw weapon to block it, only to get zapped in the fat stomach by Neia, now stunning him.

And with nothing stopping him, Larc threw down his scythe on the mutant until he landed on the ground in front of him.

With that powerful attack, the mutant packmaster was sliced into two vertically killing the second powerful ratman leader.

As soon as he died, many of the monsters from the wolf rats, rat ogres, the large rhino-sized hairless rats, and even the abominations lost any coordination they had and began to attack randomly at the ratmen troops or each other causing many kills on the waves own forces.

However the four knew this wasn't over yet with the vassal wielders going back to attack the reinforcing stormvermin forces.

Daven was still doing what he was best at and assassinated any ratmen leaders, wizards, or newly dropped packmasters trying to get some of their monsters back under control.

"There is the cat-thing thing! Halt-stop it it!" Shouted a voice that made Daven turn to see a large force of stormvermin trying to surround him, and behind them was a new specialist team, this time they were ratmen of around 40 wearing World War 1 style gas masks carrying grapefruit sized green orbs, orbs carrying an extremely deadly gas in them.

Daven could smell it immediately, he could just teleport away from them, but as he looked around himself with the stormvermin he hatched an idea as he quickly covered his mouth, ears, nose, and eyes with a thick cloth. Like with the Gorgon Queen in the wave before, he would now have to rely on his other senses and magic to know his surroundings.

The ratmen gas teams smiled and laughed at the sight of this, "Look-see how stupid the cat-thing is is! Kill it now!" one of the gas ratmen yelled and all 40 of the gas orb specialists began throwing the glass orbs at the rogue.

But Daven can sense them coming and right before the orbs can make contact, he teleports away. With all of those orbs now smashing into the stormvermin soldiers that were originally surrounding Daven, "AHHH! My eyes eyes! It burns burns! It-guuhhhh!" a stormvermin veteran yelled until it was silence from the blood it was puking out as this deadly gas was immediately doing its work poisoning the ratmen soldiers as their eyes burn and their organs were melting, just in a few seconds they start dropping dead.

The gas teams though didn't care for them, and were more annoyed they missed their target as they looked around for him.

"Hey over here!", yells a voice and the gas teams immediately recognize it as Daven as he starts dodging and blocking attacks from other stormvermin.

The gas teams immediately reacted again and threw more of their gas orbs, and like before Daven teleports away with the orbs hitting the stormvermin soldiers instead who like the others quickly suffer and die.

"Over here!" Daven yelled with the gas teams doing the same thing again.

"No over here!"

"No I'm right here!"

"Your timing needs some work!"

"For rats you're not that good in numbers!"

"Dumb-stupid cat-thing thing! Hold hold still!" One of the gas team ratmen yelled as they threw their gas orbs all around the place not caring where Daven was next to as the whole area was consumed by the poison gas with all the stormvermin around them quickly dying off.

Something that didn't go unnoticed by their superiors, "NONONO! They're killing-murdering all of them!" yelled the red armored Ratman overlord watching that battle from a telescope-like device, he wouldn't care about this if they were mass killing slaves or clan rats, but unlike them the stormvermin were expensive to arm and took time to replace as they were now dying by the hundreds from there own troops.

The overlord looked to the engineer leader, "Stop-halt this now now!" he ordered.

"Yes yes, my lord-master!" the engineer leader responded and with his own magic made green lightning appear above the unaware gas teams still trying to throw their orbs at the teleporting Daven.

And in a few seconds, multiple volts of green lightning strike the teams killing a bunch of them instantly. After the shock the gas teams were wondering what that was, and if it had something to do with the man-things.

But before they could react they were then pelted with a barrage of energy arrows, killing what was left of the damaged gas teams. Any survivors that tried to run away were quickly killed by Daven teleporting in and out making sure none were left.

The arrow barrage came from Rifana and now using her wind magic fires an arrow that blows the poison gas out of that area across the field to more ratmen who quickly die of agony until the gas finally dissipates into nothing.

"Thanks again!" Daven yells toward Rifana.

"No problem!" she yelled back as she ran off to help in another part of the battle.

Daven took the opportunity to grab some of the now dead gas team's orbs, putting one in his storage while he used the rest to teleport around the battlefield to not just kill more leaders but to gas up more groups of unexpecting elite ratmen groups.

Back with Rifana, she continued snipping more range rat attackers or large rat monsters, but then she started seeing green projectiles flying across the sky. These projectiles were similar to the gas orbs, but these ones were bigger and were being fired long range from portable cannons on the backs of a different weapon specialist team though these had assistants to hold the ammo and put in the orbs on the back canons.

"Rifana! Shoot down those things and don't be near them if they land! I'll take care of the rat bastards!" Shouted Bakugou who after blowing through a bunch of stormvermin, blasted himself toward the gas missile team with Rifana nodding back.

More missile teams begin to fire toward the other heroes, but as ordered Rifana fires and destroys each missile before they can hit their targets. But as Bakugou approached closer while blowing up any rats in his way, the missile team began to directly fire at Bakugou, even though the cannons weren't meant to be fired vertically, the terrified rats were desperate to kill him before he got close.

But the shield hero with his reflexes and easy means of maneuvering around dodges the incoming missiles that end up just blasting into more unsuspecting ratmen who die in agony.

And once right up at the missile unit-

*Boom Boom Boom*

He blows them up like nothing. These types of units were deadly from afar, but when up close they were helpless.

"Gotcha Gotcha!" shouted a voice that alerted Bakugou and suddenly from the ground emerged a large force of poison gas ratmen, the missile units were bait for an ambush.

"Kill-slaughter the shield man-thing thing!" One of the surrounding gas unit troops said and all at once the huge force of gas orb wielders began throwing or firing their gas bombs into Katsuki, hundreds of these orbs were thrown or fired into the center creating a mass cloud of this deadly gas.

Eventually they stopped as the ratmen were excited to see the end result of their work they would be happy to eat afterward.

But from that cloud of smoke out came Katsuki Bakugou himself, completely unharmed with a smug smile on his face.

All the ratmen looked horrified, "But But, that's impossible! You should be dead-killed!" one of the frightened gas units yelled with the ratmen cowering in fear.

"Plenty of anti-poison resistances, not to mention a good dose of a high quality anti-poison potion of mine." Bakugou brags as he drinks another anti-poison potion of his to make sure it doesn't wear off for a good while, "I believe it's my turn now." he continued while cracking his knuckles.

The ratmen panicked and began running away in various directions, but that did no good as Bakugou began blowing them up into pieces stopping their gas attacks for good.

From a distance the Rat overlord was growing more concerned with how close Bakugou was getting to himself, especially with them being two leaders down now, "Damn Damn that man-thing! Get the best we have now now!" he yelled at the leader engineer.

"Glad glad you asked. Bring bring in the ratling guns!" the engineer shouted and from the portals above, 80 new ratmen came into the battlefield with half of them like the flamers were carrying the ammunition and the other half carrying the weapons themselves, these weapons were what looked to be portable gatling guns as they aim for there target.

"Miniguns!? Are you fucking serious!?" Bakugou yelled not believing how advanced these ratmen were as the rattling gun teams began to crank their guns.

"Kill kill the shield man-thing!" the engineer leader shouted from a distance.

And with that order the rattling teams pulled their triggers making the gun barrels start to roll rapidly and in just two seconds they started firing, letting out numerous green bullets a second as the 40 gunners aim for Bakugou.

"Meteor shield!" Bakugou yelled forming his best shield to create an energy barrier, but even this powerful shield could only hold so much firepower forcing Bakugou to blast himself away from the area with the rattling's continuing aiming for their target.

Bakugou kept using his quirk to blast himself through the battlefield to dodge the hundreds of green bullets, with most of them instead tearing through the various ratmen who were unfortunate enough to be in Bakugou's direction. Hundreds of rats were being gunned down, not just cheap slaves or clan rats but even the valuable stormvermin.

"They're killing our best troops troops again! I'll stop stop them like last time!" The engineer shouted ready to conduct his spell like before.

"No No, not this time! Just kill kill the shield man-thing already!" The overlord ordered, even he was having a growing sense of fear for this powerful "man-thing", and just wanted Bakugou dead now, even at the expense of his valuable troops.

The ratlings continued firing their miniguns aiming for Bakugou who was faster than they could aim as more ratmen get slaughtered, even the giant rat ogres were rapidly being gunned down like nothing.

Not even the massive abominations were safe as Bakugou blasted himself toward one as it attempted to grab and bite him with the shield hero managing to dodge the many arms and appendages. And like the others, the abomination gets gunned down as hundreds of green bullets tear right through its mangled body reducing it into pieces.

Bakugou kept on avoiding the bullets as the ratlings kept on firing, thinking they would eventually hit their targets and they no doubt get to eat him afterward.

But to their horrid surprise, the guns suddenly stopped firing their green bullets and were now just rolling their empty barrels. Something Bakugou expected to eventually happen.

"What the fuck fuck is wrong with these thing things!" One of the rattling gunners yelled bashing his minigun hoping it would work again.

"We ran out of ammo!" an ammunition carrying rattling yelled making the rest of them quickly panic.

Bakugou of course took this opportunity to blast himself at the now helpless ratlings and started blasting them all into pieces, neutralizing the heroes of their greatest threat so far.

"Useless Useless Useless! All of you you dumbass-idiots can't do anything right!" The overlord shouted not believing that not only were his best specialist teams taken out, but hundreds of his best soldiers and monsters were slaughtered for nothing.

But before the Overlord could think of anything else, he now saw a mad Bakugou blasting his way toward him.

The Overlord took out his swords and barely held back a blast from Bakugou's as he slid across the ground.

Now pissed off, the rat overlord looks angrily at a smugly smiling Bakugou, "Stupid stupid man-thing! You won't stop stop me and my ambitions! I'll have your head to decorate my back next next!" The overlord shouted and ran right toward Bakugou starting their own battle.

Despite not being as large as his mutant packmaster underling, the Ratman overlord was stronger than he was in terms of stats as he is able to keep up with Bakugou himself. The overlord swings at Bakugou over and over with Bakugou having to dodge or block the overlord's attacks with him being fast enough to also dodge Bakugou's explosions.

Some other minor ratmen lords under the overlord's command attempt to jump in to kill Bakugou and claim the glory themselves, but they quickly just end up with their heads being exploded.

It was mostly between Bakugou and the overlord as the two tried all they could to kill each other. But despite his greater endurance, the Overlord was growing tired from how fast Bakugou was able to dodge his attacks even after eating his own green crystal like the late mutant packmaster, Bakugou was now getting hits on the Overlord, blasting parts of his armor off and burning some of his fur.

The armor he could replace, but the fur being burnt was pissing the Overlord off as he fought harder and harder to kill his ultimate enemy yet, he didn't start off as a slave in the mines and arranged multiple "accidents" on all he served under to become Overlord of his clan to be beaten by some weak man-thing.

Bakugou attempted to then bash the overlord's head with his shield, only to be pushed away by the last of the overlord's strength knocking him onto the ground.

The overlord thought he finally had his opening and pounced himself with his two swords at Bakugou, "Finally, your your head is-"

"Explosion shield!" Bakugou yelled with his shield rapidly changing and when the overlord hit the shield-

*Boom*

The overlord was blasted away, after finally landing back on the ground he not only noticed that more chunks of his armor were blasted off, but both his powerful swords were destroyed as well. The shield hero set up his own trap on him.

Speaking of shield hero he quickly blasted himself toward the injured overlord who was now consumed by fear as he attempted to get up and make a run for it.

But Bakugou managed to grab his long naked tail making the overlord trip, with Bakugou then grabbing one of the few empty headless spikes on his back to lift the squirming ratman up who was now terrified as hell, "Wait wait man-thing! Maybe we we could make a deal-"

*Boom*

"How about you shut up up." Bakugou mocked back after he just fired his quirk in the middle of the Overlord's body, blowing the Ratman leader into two. As the glowing red of his eyes quickly faded away the overlord had died.

Despite the death of their Master, the engineer leader watching from a distance smiled in excitement, "Yes yes! He's dead-gone now! That makes makes me the new head of the clan!" he shouted.

The religious monk leader though wasn't having it, "Who who said you get to be the new-GAH!" but he was cut off after the engineer leader grabbed his throat from his mechanical claw arm, and without hesitation he melted the religious leader's head off with the mechanical arm's built-in boiling sludge thrower.

"Any any more objections!" The engineer leader bragged after throwing away the melted monk leader's corpse.

The few remaining minor lords all shook their heads no in complete obedience to their new overlord which made the engineer laugh to himself, "Hahahahaha! Yes yes, just what I want!" he said then turned back to the battle with the ratman army now in complete disarray, "Now to just kill these stupid stupid man-things! Bring bring forth my personal masterpiece!" he ordered.

"But but sir, isn't it still in the prototype stage stage?" One minor ratman engineer spoke out.

"Today will will be its final test! After this, it will become a new milestone to the under empire! Bring bring it in now!" The engineer overlord ordered again.

And with that order, another massive thing fell through one of the portals, this thing was of greater size than even the abominations themselves. It was standing over 70 feet in height, looking to be a massive cyborg mutant rat ogre with a great amount of cybernetics coursing throughout its huge body along with numerous stitches. Despite its organic body, it looked to be completely lifeless lacking a brain, the top of its head was a glass dome with no organic matter inside.

But that was by design as the new overlord engineer leader climbed his way up the massive thing. He then opened the dome glass and got inside revealing numerous buttons, controls, and levers throughout the head as he closed the dome again, "Now try to blow this up man-things! Hahahahahahahaha!" the engineer overlord laughed as he sticks a bunch of wires in the back of his head connecting his brain to his massive masterpiece, he then placed his elaborate magic staff in the middle and with that and his own magic the giant rat ogre starts glowing green all over its body, its eyes turn green, and even begins to slowly move thanks to the control of its new brain.

Everyone including Bakugou noticed this thing along with its long health bar, "Looks like the boss finally showed up!" He shouted and was already quickly targeted by the boss as the Engineer Overlord controlled the rat ogre boss giant to move toward the shield hero.

The shield hero managed to blast himself away in time as the giant puked out a flood of green sludge from its mouth, coating the area in it.

Now in the air, Bakugou fires his quirk back at the giant's arm. Despite doing some damage he quickly witnesses that this thing's organic parts can regenerate as well like the abominations. Course he knew that regeneration had a weakness, "Kirishima, flame where I blasted at!" He shouted toward his dragon below, and after smashing his way through a bunch of clan rats the dragon launched himself in the air with Kizuna, Blue, and Rino remaining on his back there to aid Bakugou against the wave boss.

As Bakugou continued dodging the cyborg rat giant's arm as it swings surprisingly fast at him, as he would blast his quirk on the exposed flesh part of the arm leaving a deep burnt wound. Kirishima would then breathe fire on the wound preventing it from regenerating along with Rino blasting more wounds with her light magic missiles while Kizuna and Blue help weaken the giant as well.

Bakugou also attempted to blast into the head, but that part was protected by a magic shield barrier.

"Stupid stupid man-thing! How about you enjoy this new form of firepower!" the engineer overlord yelled inside as he pushed a couple of buttons.

From the arms and legs cannon barrels emerge from the skin, and from those cannons literal missiles begin to be fired out.

"Dodge those things!" Bakugou after pulling back from the giant head as he and Kirishima immediately took invasive maneuvers to dodge the anti-air missiles as some collided with each other and exploded in green smoke.

Kizuna and Rino did all they could to help and hang on while blasting away the missiles, with Bakugou above doing the same as he also tried to dodge from the missiles.

Down below Daven, Neia, Rifana, Larc, Yogomi, and Glass rush their way to the boss while killing any more ratmen that tried to get in the way, to aid Bakugou with Rifana already taking out a bunch of missiles with her arrows.

But they didn't go unnoticed by the Engineer overlord, "Time to deal deal with these pests as well!" he says to himself and presses more buttons. From the giant's shoulders now emerge two sets of giant minigun gatling turrets as they aim downward.

"Look out!" Bakugou shouted who then created a bunch of airstrike shields above the ground heroes, and immediately after that the turrets began rapidly firing hundreds of green bullets a second.

The energy shields saved them from being torn apart, but the heroes knew they weren't going to last long as they had already begun to crack in seconds.

Daven grabs the crew and teleports them away from the insane amount of firepower as the energy shields soon break.

Those turrets then aimed upward and began firing at airborne Bakugou.

Being in the air allowed him to dodge the bullets more easily, but the shield hero had to be careful to not get hit by even one of those bullets and keep them from aiming at his team and the other heroes.

The other heroes though had appeared on the ground not far from the giant. Taking a lesson from the spirit tortoise they were now so close to the giant that it wouldn't be able to fire without hurting itself.

This didn't stop the engineer overlord from trying to smash and crush the heroes with its giant's huge feet and arms as well as breathing down more burning sludge with many minor ratmen lords jumping in to kill them. The heroes on the ground were able to hold them back and avoid the giant but doing any permanent damage to the boss was becoming more difficult as a new swarm of ratmen began to attack and surround the ground heroes while Bakugou and Kirishima continued dodging the missiles and gunfire.

Bakugou and the other heroes knew they were in trouble if they didn't do something soon or exhaustion would finally get to them while the engineer overlord laughed to himself, "Hahahaha, this world-realm will soon be mine mine! And once I consolidate my rule here I'll soon soon take over the rest of the Under empire and become the second horned rat of the Sk-AHH! What the hell!" he bragged but then got cut off by the head dome shields getting hit by cannon balls.

This also surprised the other heroes, and as they looked above they saw that it was Ethnobalt and his flying ship. He was finished containing the waves from other portals, and now he appeared back to aid the others as he promised. From above he began raining down cannon fire. Groups of ratmen were being blown up as the horde began to panic and run for their lives giving the ground heroes there much needed leeway as they began to damage the legs while Ethnobalt continued to also fire at the giant.

"Stupid stupid air ship-boat thing! Do you really think you have better weapons then me? Well think again!" he shouted and now aimed his giant's missiles at the airship.

But with Rifana free from the ground forces she fires arrows at the missiles stopping most of them from getting near the flying boat.

The minigun turrets then took aim and fired at the airship, it was impossible for Rifana to fire at the hundreds of tiny green bullets, but despite their strength Ethnobalt's flying ships magic shields were able to hold it off, but even he knew they won't last long from the intense firepower.

But with the turrets and missiles aiming at the boat, Bakugou and Kirishima were finally free from getting shot at. Bakugou immediately blasts himself toward the giant's shoulder and quickly blows up one of the turrets.

Rino then fires her own arcane missiles at the other shoulder turret finally stopping the rattling mini-guns for good. And this didn't stop either's momentum as they went after the arm and leg cannons destroying them and ending the giant's long range firepower.

"No No! I won't be defeated!" the overlord engineer whined as he then pressed a button to turn on a radio of sorts, "Bring bring in the big guns and take that damn boat-ship out!" he orders through it.

Not too long after that from the portals above, 8 new war weapons had emerged, but unlike the catapults from before these things were literal energy canons, buzzing with powerful green electric plasma. They quickly took aim and began firing powerful electric bolts to fire at the heroes and Ethnobalts boat.

These things hit hard and even Ethnobalt's boat shields were starting to crack after taking only a few volleys.

However when Neia noticed that these attacks were lightning based, she knew what she had to do, "Daven get me up to Ethnobalt's boat!" she shouted.

And without hesitation, Daven grabbed hold of Neia and with his teleportation magic popped in on top of the airship.

Neia ran to the edge and dropped near the front of the ship barely holding on as she emitted an electric glow around herself to make her be noticed even from a distance.

And noticed she was as all the plasma cannons aim for her.

"Wait wait! Don't shoot shoot the blue elf-thing!" The engineer overlord tried to order over the radio, but it was too late as all the cannons fired at the same time.

Neia gets hit by each and every blast, and like before instead of doing damage, she absorbs the electric plasma's power making her stats and mana surge to extreme levels. Then through one katana, she fires back at them with a powerful electric bolt hitting the plasma cannons in a chain reaction as they all quickly blew up from the sudden overcharges in power.

But Neia wasn't done yet as she jumped off the airship down at the still fighting rat cyborg giant. Once right at it, she stabs her katanas deep within the monster's skin as she slides down creating a deep cut even through the metal parts.

She then expels all of the rest of her excess power.

A huge surge of electricity courses all across the massive body.

The cyborg giant immediately starts malfunctioning as it spazzes out all over activating and firing random things as if it was having a seizure. The engineer overlord was pressing every button he could in complete panic, "NONONONONONONO! Work work you stupid thing!" he yelled doing what he could to get the thing back under his control but the massive surge in electricity was making everything go haywire and messing up the controls.

This of course allowed the heroes to attack, especially with Ethnobalt now free from being blasted goes back to firing at more ratmen on the ground..

After Neia finally jumped off the giant, Larc combo skilled once more with Glass this time powering up his weapon. With Larc's powered up scythe, he managed to cut deep at the back legs of the giant, severing many nerves and inorganic wires that won't regenerate, crippling its movement for good and keeping the giant in its place.

"Make a hole in its chest!" Bakugou ordered Rino as he blasted himself higher in the air to make his move soon.

"Intensifying light beam!" the mage shouted and through her staff-spear fired a large powerful beam through the still spazzing out giant's chest making a clear 4 foot hole through the center of the body.

Kirishima then made his move by breathing fire at the newly made hole to prevent it from regenerating itself back up.

Bakugou then finally blasts himself toward the hole while spinning around collecting as much air as he could.

"Everyone get away from the boss!" Kizuna shouted as the dragon was already flying a good distance away.

The sidekicks knew what was coming and the vassal heroes and Yomogi trusted Kizuna enough, so the ground heroes all run away from the giant as far as possible.

The overlord engineer though seemed to have gotten some control back to his mutant giant and attempted to stop Bakugou with its massive arms, only for that to get blasted at with Ethnobalt's boat cannons.

One arm did still almost caught Bakugou, but the shield hero was able to dodge out of the way in time and he continued aiming for the large burnt hole.

"Howitzer impact!" he shouted and once he was in the middle of the hole.

*BOOOOOM*

He fires a huge explosion in the middle of the giant as the massive thing blows up into many pieces.

Massive debris fell everywhere crushing many ratmen below, as the ground heroes all huddled between each other to make sure they weren't also crushed by all the metal or giant rat meat. They even saw multiple new large airstrike shields appearing overhead protecting them from such debris.

Eventually the rain of dead rat meat and metal stopped as the heroes looked around the remnants of a dead boss and a shield hero standing on top of it raising his arm up in victory.

"Now that is what I call pest control!" Larc shouted with the heroes cheering to each other in celebration including Kizuna and Rino still riding high in the air with Blue and Kirishima.

Once Bakugou puts his arm down he remains looking happy, glad to have such good sidekicks on his side, even begrudgingly feeling the same about the offworld heroes as well.

"No no no no no! My masterpiece is ruined ruined! All those years, all the thousands of pounds of warpstone, wasted!" shouted a screeching voice that turned out to be the engineer overlord, still alive in the now dead severed head of his now bodiless giant, with the glass dome and magic shields on it also destroyed.

Bakugou walks toward him as he cracks his knuckles, ready to kill the vermin for good.

The engineer overlord noticed and was in a state of panic as he looked around the broken controls, "Fuck fuck fuck! Where the hell hell is that lever!? Where where is that lever!" he yelled to himself looking all over as well as pressing every broken button he could as the hero approached him.

"Ah there there it is!" the engineer overlord shouted finding the lever he was looking for under the seat, after he grabbed what was left of his broken staff and pulled the lever, his seat literally rocketed out of the broken dom,e emitting a green smoke blasting its way back into the portal it came from. Going far to fast for heroes to shoot down.

The engineer overlord makes it back through the wave portal back to his homeworld with his rocket seat just running out of power as he rolls across the ground of his clan's home city. It was a massive hive full of shanty towns and numerous ratmen with a constant hazy green glow mist being emitted across the dark underground city surrounded by walls of rocks.

The Engineer overlord got himself back up and looked toward the portal very pissed off, "Stupid stupid man-things ruined everything! Well, let's see see who gets the last laugh laugh!" he says to himself as he was pressing some buttons on his wrist.

And not far, a tunnel opened up next to him. Revealing a massive missile launcher, a launcher that had only one giant powerful missile in it. But one was all he needed.

"Let's see see how you enjoy your victory-win in a radioactive wasteland! DIE DIE!" he bragged then pressed the launcher's activation button.

The massive missile flies away with it firing off its green flames as it goes through the portal with the engineer overlord still laughing behind.

The heroes on the other side now see the massive missile flying across the sky as it aims its way toward Sickle's capital.

"I'll shoot the thing down!" Ethnobalt shouted quickly noticing it, as he ready's his cannons to fire at it.

"Wait! I have a better idea!" shouted Daven who was still on top of the ship. Ethnobalt listened while still aiming his weapons at the missile just to be safe.

Once the missile was just right over the ship, Daven used his teleporting magic to instantly appeared on the crudely made missile itself holding it for dear life with his claws as it was almost impossible to keep hold with the intense winds blowing on him.

But the rogue had enough concentration to use his abilities, and with his magic he teleported himself and the missile away then in seconds reappeared near the same location but now the missile was pointing in the exact opposite direction, heading right back to where it was launched at.

This was Daven's cue to let go as he fell away safely from the giant missile flames. Thankfully for him, Kirishima flew himself up toward the rogue as Kizuna threw her fishing string at the falling rogue with Daven grabbing it along with Rino's hand, getting himself safely on board the dragon.

The missile of course continued blasting its way right back into the portal it came from, firing right back into the ratmen hive city.

The Engineer overlord could only widen his eyes in horror as he witnessed his own weapon heading right back to its creator, "Son son of a-"

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

The missile makes impact and blows up. The thing was basically a nuclear warhead destroying everything in sight, vaporizing the Hive city and killing every single ratmen in there, leaving no survivors, clan rat or rat monster alike. With the impact of the massive explosion also making the cavern collapse in an avalanche of rocks.

Back on the other side in Glass and Larc's world, the nuke's impact was already apparent as the only things coming out of the portals were either dead ratmen or quickly dying ratmen with intense radiation burns.

The remaining ratmen horde was in complete disarray, even the disciplined veteran stormvermin were all panicking, running all over to get away from the killer man-things while their monsters were now mindlessly killing them or each other. Some even attempted to just run through the border fires that were still going even as many are incinerated trying to pass through. They couldn't dig underground either thanks to Rino's ground hardening, trapping them all there.

Kirishima then started swooping around scaring away all the ratmen as they ran toward the cliffs toward the ocean. The rest of the heroes do the same while killing off the last of the monsters.

Quickly hundreds of ratmen were corralled around a large cliffside as they all struggled to not fall off the cliff knowing none of them could swim.

However when Kirishima finally lands himself back with the others, Rino jumps down and activates her earth magic. Creating large rock walls that pushed their way into the corralled ratmen until all of them were pushed off the cliff.

Now the entire horde was drowning in the ocean as a huge swarm of sharks and sea monsters began to pick them off one by one, officially defeating the Wave.

Up from the cliff, the heroes witness the carnage from afar as they all take some deep breaths from that stressful fight, "Well that was a lot of fun." Rino joked trying to lighten the mood from that whole event.

"Man and that was just one wave, I can't imagine how many you guys had to fight before this." Kizuna said, that even if they were victorious she could feel how much of a burden her friends had to go through to stop the waves while she was trapped in the infinite labyrinth.

Larc and Glass though smiled as the fan hero hugged Kizuna, "It's better now with you around, and thanks to our new friends we may finally find a way to stop them." Glass said to her best friend with Kizuna smiling back.

Bakugou then spoke up, "Hey like I said already we're not best buds yet, just here fighting against a common enemy that's all, at least these rats have a bunch of stuff to boost my stats." he said and indeed while fighting across the battle he was collecting items his shield can absorb to give him a bunch of new shields and abilities including something called a "Warpstone shield", "But anyway, how do we get out of here back to my sidekick's homeworld Cateyes?" He continued as he noticed the wave was still technically going after killing the boss as she told them would happen, as well as noticing the new timer in his menu.

Glass pointed up to one of the portals, "Jump in through one of the portals, your weapons should know their ways to get back to their homeworlds. Just make sure your team stays near you."

"Sounds good, everyone get on Kirishima!" Bakugou ordered with Bakusquad getting up on the large Dragon

"Thank you for everything guys!" Neia shouted with the rest of Bakusquad waving back to their new acquaintances as Bakugou approached the Dragon.

"Wait!" yelled out Kizuna.

"What is it now-" Bakugou asked until he was interrupted with Kizuna giving him a big hug.

"Thank you again for everything you have done, I promise that I'll do all I can to stop the waves and make sure you and other worlds are aware of it." Kizuna said her goodbye looking teary eyed to the one to save her from eternal imprisonment.

Bakugou smirked back as he finally pushed her aside, "Well you're welcome Pigtails, just make sure your genocidal friends remain in line, I'll continue to help find a way to stop the waves on our end as well." He said back as he jumped on the dragon which made Kizuna nod and smile back along with Yomogi and the rest of her friends.

"Fairwell Kiddo, hope you don't get yourself in any more trouble." Larc joked.

"Same to you young master." Bakugou mocked back.

"I told you not to call me that!" Larc yelled back making everyone laugh.

"Well you know how I feel. Kirishima fly!" he said then shouted, whipping Kirishima's reins with the dragon now flying toward one of the portals.

The heroes can already feel something strange as they start to have a glow appear around themselves that Glass said before would happen when traveling into different worlds. Eventually the group went right through the portal disappearing away from this world.

After they went through and with the wave boss being dead, the wave instantly ended with the sky turning normal again.

"Man I don't think I'll ever see someone as unique as Bakugou again for the rest of my entire life." Kizuna said to herself after wiping a tear from her eye with Larc rubbing her head.

"Same here, but I can't ignore results. Hopefully Kiddo mellows out one day and we can have normal conversations that don't make my ears ring." Larc joked as he turned around to witness the absolute carnage of their battle with thousands of dead ratmen, monsters, and pieces of a cyborg giant scattered all over, along with Kirishima's border containment flames finally going out safely after he left, "We're going to have to go back to the castle first, and get help in cleaning up all of this shit. Last thing we need is a plague spreading around." he says with Glass and Kizuna nodding back.

"We're screwed screwed!"

"Be be quiet you idiot!"

The group then heard some voices near some bushes not to far from them as they approached it.

"But we we are cut off from our source of magic! And all the breeders are dead, our clan is doomed doomed and we'll soon die off in this foreign world-realm!"

"Shut it it! We'll just lay low away from the man-things and come up with a plan-idea! Maybe build a universal teleporting gate to get back back to a different part of the under empire and take over this world world through-"

But the voices were cut off after Larc pushed away the bushes to reveal the last remaining ratmen survivors now terrified of being caught.

"Ha, looks like we got some more rat catching to do." Larc excitingly says with Glass, Yomogi, and Kizuna smiling the same as they take their weapons out to quickly kill off the panicking ratmen.

Back with Bakusquad, the group was in some dimensional plane between different worlds that looked a bit like going lightspeed in outer space inside a nebula with a lot of light and color. The crew continued to hold on as much as possible as Bakugou and Kirishima navigated their way across the multiverse with the shield being their only guide.

After a few minutes, the shield team finally goes through a portal.

Now they were high up in the sky across a very lush green valley with the portal behind them disappearing away.

Kirishima lands himself near the top of the beautiful valley with everyone else getting off, "Are we back home?" Rifana asked first with the others wondering as well hoping they didn't end up in some other random world.

Bakugou wanted to know as well as he activated his map shield, which not only worked again but it showed off all the locations of the tortoise kingdom once more, "Ha, looks like we are. Cateyes was telling the truth after all." Bakugou says with everyone sighing in relief.

"So where exactly are we at though?" Rino asked with no one else there familiar with this location.

"Looks like we're near where the massive turtle died." Bakugou responded after looking at the map.

Everyone there seemed confused though considering when they were last at this valley it was a rocky wasteland.

"I hope we weren't gone for too long." Neia said with him and the others hoping they weren't gone for years or something like that.

Bakugou hoped that wasn't the case as well, though if time really didn't match up between worlds that would confirmed his theory on time being distorted between worlds. Which made him happy knowing that this could mean he was missing nothing in his old world if time was going slower there or not moving at all, but on the other hand this could also mean years could past even if it had been just a few months here. He hoped for the former and not the latter.

"According to my shield, it has just been a little over 3 weeks since before we left, so not too much time has passed." Bakugou confirmed from his menu's clock, where he also saw that the wave counter was still frozen, though it also had its own counter of just 3 months to remain frozen. He would like to prepare for the next wave, and hoped it wouldn't be any worse than giant rats with gatling guns, poison gas, kaiju sized flesh mechs, and nuclear weapons.

"Well that's a relief, I think the Queen would like to see us again after that whole thing, might as well greet her." Neia says with the others nodding in agreement.

As did Bakugou thinking of the possible rewards he might get from the event. But as he was looking for the capital of Melromarc and got it to where it should be on the map shield, he immediately saw something was off, "Maltavia?" Bakugou expressed getting the other's attention.

"What is that Sir?" Rifana asked with the others wondering as well.

"That is what Melromarc is being called now on this map, everything that was called Melromarc something is now this new name. And I'm checking everywhere else and the names are still the same including Siltvelt." Bakugou responds making everyone there weirded out by this.

"Can the map shield change names?" Neia asked.

"Yeah it updated when I officially changed that Lurolona place into Bakcadia. Don't know what the hell this is about though." Bsakugou answers.

"How about we go back to Bakcadia first before going to the capital and see what is going on first." Daven suggested with Bakugou nodding in agreement.

"Good idea, let's head there first." Bakugou responds as he changes their fast travel location back to Bakcadia.

"What could've happened after only 3 weeks?" Neia wondered as Bakusquad teleported their way to Bakcadia and hopefully find their answers.
