Hello to all, this is Chapter 26 of the fourth Arc of Volume 6: War in Karakura Town!

Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.

Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!

Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 6: Chapter 26: The Depths of Reality and Illusion! Dragon Knight Yugi Vs Aizen!

Previously in DKR:

The climax between Yugi and the transformed Hollow Tosen came to an end with the Dragon Knight defeating this much stronger former Shinigami. It was when Yugi expressed his dislike of the justice of his world, reminded of Light and L, and only wished to protect the world and loved ones he cares for. Tosen was taken out of the battle by Aizen's orders as Yugi was about to challenge him but he was stopped by Starrk.

Meanwhile, Kurosaki was struggling against Dark General Knight, easily overpowering him and even mocked his lack of spirit. Kurosaki still tried to fight but due to his mentality; it was all true and the dark general could see it all. He called the boy weak; afraid of whatever is affecting him and soon told him that all beings were monsters but that is the difference between a monster and a warrior. This got to Kurosaki, nearly breaking down as he could see flashes of the Vasto Lorde. The Dark General motivated him by killing everyone and everything he would protect. Enraged by his own fears, Ichigo stabbed himself to see Zangetsu and gained the resolution he needed as well as reinforce his vow to his Hollow to defeat his despair, to defeat Ulquiorra. Fully motivated again, Kurosaki clashed against the Dark Knight with his all.

Yugi was now forced to fight against Starrk, not wanting to as he considered him and Lilynette as friends. However, the Espada was still bound to serve Aizen due to giving him meaning in their lives. The fight became complicated with Captain Kyoraku taking the fight seriously and forcing Starrk to use his trump card. Refusing to acknowledge that both he and Lilynette are giving up on their lives, Yugi did all he could to stop the fight peacefully, even protecting the wolf form of Lilynette from being destroyed. Starrk was shocked, not understanding him but Yugi once more told him they were friends and nothing would change his mind. This was enough to leave Starrk uncertain but ultimately accepted Yugi's terms as did Kyoraku, actually chuckling at the kid's crazy determination.

Relieved, Yugi now flew right towards Aizen to settle things and stop the pointless war. Will the Dragon Knight defeat the strongest Shinigami for good?

And now the conclusion... last left off:

Sparks fly out as Kojan clashes his Dragon Ryujin blades against the Dark Lord's chaotic, flaming claws. They swipe and reflect the other's swings in rapid succession while Kojan uses his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes to evade the dragon's tail and wing strikes.

Darkus grins as he swings his claws in an x-shaped, releasing fiery claw waves that nearly consume Kojan if he doesn't fly up. However, the dark dragon flies faster above him and swings a strong kick at him. Kojan quickly blocks the stomp with the right zig-zag shaped blade but the kick still sends him crashing through a building.

"BURN AWAY, WORM!'' The Dark Lord roars furiously with a twisted grin, inhaling back and shouts. ''CHAOS FLAME PURGATORY!'' He releases a burst of hellish, chaotic flame blast towards the Uchiha.

Scoffing, Kojan forms hand seals and quickly inhales back, shouting as he blows forward. ''FIRE RELEASE: GREAT FIRE ANNIHILATION!'' He breathes out a powerful burst of massive intense flames.

The two flames collide, causing a typhoon to build up between them due to their evenly flames. Kojan uses this chance to fly up in the air and swings his blades, firing twin Dragonaun Raijin right at him. Darkus quickly guards with Chaos Flame Armor, tanking the lightning bolt attacks with ease until more, yet violent lightning cracks above him. He looks up to widen his eyes as Kojan is just on top of him, already thrusting his left arm forward as it is covered in Dragonaun Raikiri but its colors are dark blue with black highlights. ''SQUALL RELEASE: DRAGONAUN RAIKIRI TYPHOON!'' Forming a hand seal, Kojan then grasps his left hand back and swings forward, releasing multiple lightning bolts from the sky.

Darkus sees the lightning bolts raining down on him as he starts charging at them, rapidly spinning his whole body with a twirl before his spinning body is consumed in intense hellish flames.

''DARKNESS CHAOS TORNADO!'' Darkus roars, ramming his tornado form attack against the lightning bolts, repelling them with ease before coming at Kojan who forms new hand seals and inhales as sparks of lightning forms and swallow into his mouth.

''SQUALL RELEASE: CYCLONE HEAT BLAST!'' Kojan shouts, shooting out a burst of electrical flames from his mouth that twist and spirals around rapidly like miniature cyclones. The tornado still charges faster and rams against the first cyclone fire-lightning ball and releases a devastating explosion upon impact. Then the other fireballs hit the stopped tornado and connect, releasing even more multiple explosions, consuming multiple blocks and vaporizing buildings in their destructive radius.

Kojan watches closely as the smoke of the explosion occurs, staring closely. The moment he flies out of the smoke, he'll-

''DARKNESS CHAOS CLAW!'' The Uchiha widens his eyes as Darkus suddenly appears behind him, gripping out his right claw as it's coated in hellish chaotic flames that resembles solar energy. He roars with a twisted grin, thrusting his claw at him. It connects but in the last second, Kojan vanishes like lightning. Darkus smirks as he twirls immediately to see Kojan manifesting electricity into his blade, forming a long lightning energy blade around it.

''RAIKIRI CALIBUR!'' Kojan shouts out, charging at Darkus as he thrusts his lightning energy blade. Darkus just laughs evilly, challenging this as he counters by thrusting his Darkness Chaos Claw. The two attacks collide, bursts of lightning and flames clash as Darkus grips tightly in the energy blade while Kojan tries to penetrate through his claw.

The colliding attacks dense the air around them to such a degree that Kojan pulls back quickly as he knew their attacks would cause an explosion much larger than his Squall Release.

Darkus looks at him, smirking cockily, as he eyes his rubbing claws that grip on his blade.

''You know…'' The Dark Lord begins to speak up as his demonic dragon eyes gaze up at the Uchiha's firm Sharingan eyes. ''You're are not what I expected and yet here you are; actually giving me a fight!''

"And I should be honored?'' Kojan mocks the compliment, causing the black dragon to grin. ''Hardly…'' Even though he's challenging him, Darkus feels nothing from it unlike Yugi and expresses this disdain. ''You may be a Dragon Knight that I also want to kill and yet you don't give me the same rush and pump of blood unlike that brat!''

Kojan glares firmly at that comment before questioning him. ''Why the obsession towards Yugi?''

Darkus grins at that question and instead says in a taunting voice. ''I should be asking you the same thing.''

The Uchiha glares, firmly, as the Dark Lord further taunts him with a calm smirk, showing his fangs. ''In a way, you and I are alike. We can't let go of the past until we fix it, by force.'' His smirk slowly changes into a wide grin. ''And our obsession to kill those we hate, no?''

Kojan glares irritated by those words. Darkus can read through him, much easier than others due to his sadness, his hatred, his despair that he's built up within his body. Uchiha are so sensitive, the saddest human beings to exist and yet the easiest to understand for their existence. And this one is no different. In fact, this one is near the border of Despair.

''I can feel hatred and darkness in others, even read their thoughts. I feel it even now within you.'' Darkus proclaims, staring deep into Kojan's soul and sees such despair that it's looking at his own all due 1 being and he's resisting the urge to give in completely but failing. ''And you have a lot of that, so much hate for that man that you're willingly to forsake the brat's hand and slay him to obtain his power.''

The Uchiha remains silent, not saying a word and yet his eyes narrow and his hands clench even tighter than before. Darkus still grins as he taunts him further. ''Petty for a Dragon Knight like you to have such traits. How mighty has that lizard fallen to let a mere child be swallowed into the darkness. So much darkness that it if you break… all you'll have is endless despair, ready to swallow you away.''

Kojan just glares coldly, his aura building up in rage. Darkus hums as he can see much potential from him, more than Sasuke. A shame he became a knight though due to the livid obligation he must complete. In fact, if the boy arrives at a breaking point; there is no telling if his Despair will consume him, destroy him… or… Darkus smirks, looking forward to that third option. He may be useful for him.

''Maybe in another lifetime, I would help you…'' He expresses before he glares madder, reminding himself that he was still the one to hurt his niece too. ''Sadly for you, I want to murder you badly! That is my hatred towards you knights! GREATER THAN ANYONE ELSE! RRRRAAAWWWW!'' He roars explosively as his flames ignite in chaotic hellfire.

''… Don't you…'' Uttering out as his blood boils about his comment about his stronger hatred, Kojan raises his enraged expression as his Mangekyou Sharingan eyes glow even madder and redder than before. ''COMPARE YOUR HATE WITH MINES!'' He manifests his Susanoo, shrieking like a phoenix as Kojan vows furiously. ''I don't need your help or anyone's to achieve my goals! I intend to put you down!''

Darkus smirks at his fury and just taunts him more. ''If that goal ever happens! But now thinking about it...'' He grins viciously. "You do remind me of Madara Uchiha. Such power and worthless goals."

Widening his eyes angrier to be compared to that bastard, Kojan charges right at the black dragon who follows suite, laughing with menacingly roars.

The Mew Mews are nearly done with the Hollows as Mew Erika looks with the narrow end of her eyes at the fight happening over there and Mew Ichigo is watching.

Sasuke, Selvaria and Metal Sonic are overpowering Mew Blackberry with their teamwork. Every time the lion Mew Mew tries to attack, Sasuke responds with his Susanoo Arrow shots or Amaterasu which allows Selvaria to release her Blue Flame in combination. If the black Mew Mew dodges it, she's then attacked by Metal Sonic or even Sasuke's fast yet long range attacks.

Mew Blackberry hisses, still getting used to her powers but that isn't a problem; it's losing to mere mortals and a trash bin that's getting under her skin! She was nearly consumed by either the intense particle blue flames or the black flames; vexing her further.

''You dare insult me with your attempts to kill me, ants!'' She insults the three pests getting in her way from playing with her kitty. She raises her lance as a dark sphere of magical energy builds up from its tip.

''RIBBON BLACKBERRY OBLITERATE!'' Mew Blackberry howls, throwing and firing the destructive sphere at them. Selvaria and Metal Sonic begin charging for a counterattack as Sasuke also guards them with his now half-body armored Susanoo and takes aim with its crossbow, consumed in chirping electricity.

''CHIDORI ARROW!'' Sasuke yells out as his Susanoo fires an electrical arrow from its crossbow, moving with lightning speed. It connects against the dark magical sphere of destructive power, creating a massive discharge of opposing attacks and colors.

Mew Blackberry hisses, thrusting her spear forward as the sphere expands larger. Sasuke glares as his left eye bleeds out as he shouts. ''BLAZE RELEASE: KAGUTSUCHI!'' The Chidori Arrow is coated in black flames, amplifying its power.

''BLUE FLAME!'' Selvaria yells out, aiming with her lance and releases a burst of blue flames alongside Sasuke's attack. The two attacks push the sphere and penetrate through it. Mew Blackberry immediately evades the flames, somersaulting and landing on a rooftop. She smirks, raising her spear again to gather energy to-

''CHAOS CONTROL.'' The lion girl widens her eyes as Neo Metal hovers above her as he spreads his arms and time freezes around Mew Blackberry. She's frozen, unable to move as Neo Metal begins swiping its claws, slashing her before performing a powerful lightning blast, sending her across the air as time resumes. She grits her teeth, repelling with a shout that releases a dark-like barrier around her. She pants, feeling temporarily paralyzed but she should-

However, she widens her eyes as Sasuke is right above her, extending back his left arm as a massive burst of lightning and black flames erupt around that arm.

''BLAZE RELEASE: AXE OF CHIDORI!'' The Uchiha yells out, swinging his arm downward over the lion girl's head and releases a devastated combination of Chidori, Axe of Lightning and Blaze Release in one. The attack connects and releases an explosive lightning-black flame eruption that consumes the whole area.

Mew Ichigo watches, horrified by the power Sasuke gained so quickly. Naruto feels the same, glaring calmly as he thought maybe Sage Mode would reach him but now it feels miniature compared to this.

Sasuke instantly appears beside Selvaria and Neo Metal as he looks up at the still widespread attack, raging the sky while breathing heavily. Even though he's doing well balancing his mana supply and Chakra supply; that last attack was a huge tax on his body. It's nearly as strong as Kirin, something he should keep in mind.

''Did they just-'' Mew Ichigo begins to question that they got her… only to be silent as soft giggles are heard. ''Hehehe… It's been a long time since I've had a good fight Nya.''

The explosion of Sasuke's attack is cut through by a black beam, penetrating through it and soon dissolves it. The Uchiha watches with a firm gaze as Mew Blackberry is literally floating in the sky, grinning with multiple scarred injuries and yet feels no pain from them due to them slowly being healed by her regeneration.

Mew Ichigo widens her eyes in horror, not believing she survived even that attack. Just how durable- no, how powerful is she?

Mew Blackberry slowly descends and lands on the ground where Sasuke and his Executioners are staring at her. She purrs before taunting the seemingly drained Uchiha. ''Running out of steam? Good~'' She releases a burst of black energy across her body, showing she still has plenty of energy.

Sasuke glares as he comes charging at her along with Selvaria and Neo Metal. Mew Blackberry twirls her spear in a fancy way before charging right back at them.

Mew Ichigo frowns, watching helplessly and it's not fair. She can't stand around not doing anything while that evil Mew Mew is still doing evil. Yugi can handle Aizen but she… she needs to kill-

''Ichigo-chan.'' The pink haired cat girl startles, recognizing that voice as she turns around. There, she's staring at the black haired store owner from long ago but she has cat ears and a tail as well as her outfit resembling the Tokyo Black Cat Girl manga.

''Ayame-san?!'' She utters out in surprise, not thinking she would see her again no less here. The older woman smiles softly as she expresses kindly. ''I kinda missed you in my shop. Would you mind coming back once in a while?''

The cat girl blushes, not having had the time with everything that happened after Orochimaru's fight. Then there was Aizen the first time, then Gallia, then her cousin and Crystal Tokyo… then the KC Cup and the whole Kojan problem. Still, she should have gone to visit her; it would be nice to talk to someone who helped her once deeply.

''S-sorry! A lot of stuff happened and-'' Mew Ichigo begins to apologize but the older woman just smiles and tells her calmly. ''Relax, I've had the same thing happen to me too. You should worry about the others like the Dragon Knight than that evil mess.''

The pink haired cat girl is silent and yet listening to her. Just talking to her made her realize that even though Yugi is strong; Aizen is also that much stronger, if probably more.

''You'll deal with her another time. Besides, you're not ready to oppose her.'' Ayame advises with a firm expression, almost knowing more than she seems to know.

''…'' Mew Ichigo remains silent, looking down as she just can't seem to let go of Mew Blackberry and all she's done to her and the other girls. It upsets her, thinking she will never reach her level.

Ayame sees her frustration and immediately puts a hand on her shoulder, encouraging her with a smile. ''One day you will, I know you will shine brightly to get through her darkness.''

The Mew Mew blushes at her strong smile, hoping to feel that much confidence like her.

''Now go, Ichigo. Go.'' Ayame tells her, needing her away from this fighting. Mew Ichigo doesn't say anything else before she bows to her and runs off. Ayame watches her smiling, knowing that the girl has a long road ahead but she'll surpass her for sure.

Evangeline watches this, really disappointed but more on Mew Blackberry's ability to negate Inner Demon powers. How? More importantly, how to have it be Ichigo to put her out? Oh she'll have time later as she gazes her stare at the actual black lion.

Shadow is still engaged with this strange jackal, rambling nonsense about how he must be destroyed. He scowls so annoyed by this guy already.

''I want you dead!'' Zero yells out, firing multiple black spheres that Shadow easily evades them before firing a Chaos Spear but he blocks it with a wall that manifests as a shield.

''Get on the line.'' Shadow tells him off firmly which only enrages Zero more and more, yelling. ''DON'T MOCK ME!'' He manifests massive dark red energy spears, rotating them rapidly before throwing them at him. Shadow, instead of moving back, leaps forward at the spears and then performs a Spin Dash at the closest one but on its side. He rams deep into it before spinning across it and launches himself into the next spear like being launched by a paddle and zig-zag off it to the next and the next, each contact leaving an impact that sends each spear crashing away from any unnecessary damage and away from the others.

Ed sweat drops, sometimes not even sure how this guy does it. He with the company of Danny and Ryan watch, not sure when to jump in due to his abilities. Mustang left, not able to do much in condition and wanted to check up on the others.

''This guy is literally creating stuff out of thin air!'' Danny yells out in shock with Ryan just as puzzled. ''How is that possible?''

''Creating, maybe. But out of thin air…'' Edward begins pondering that before he realizes that's not the case. ''No. More like they're being created on the spot.''

The others are not liking that, meaning this guy's ability is crazy strong. Danny frowns, wondering what they could do. Shaking his head, Phantom flies off and fires a barrage of ghost rays at Zero who protects him with manifesting spiral buildings that he launches at the ghost boy who phases through them and Shadow teleports himself just above the buildings. In that view, the black hedgehog turns around to see Yugi, facing off against Aizen.

''Guess now Yugi is going to face him.'' He tells himself, hoping the kid beats him before diving down to finish off this crazed person.

Jonouchi and the others are distracted as they look up and see their heroic friend, facing eye-to-eye at the evil Shinigami.

''Yugi.'' Anzu utters, frowning in concern about Yugi about to face Aizen and this time alone.

''He shouldn't fight the man who kidnapped Ichigo alone.'' Honda protests, not liking the idea of their friend going up alone against that guy. Jonouchi agrees with Honda but he also knows this guy is in the same ballpark as the Dark Lord; strong and REALLY strong. Not even Momomiya with Mew Erika and Mew Plum were able to fight this guy. Then again, they were weaker than they are now but that Aizen was said to be holding back. So again, they can't do much but put their trust in Yugi.

''No, but we would be dead weight to him. All we can do is believe in Yugi.'' Jonouchi then proclaims, not wanting to become a burden in Yugi's fight. He has to win this on his own and he will. Honda sighs, not able to disagree with him on that. Anzu smiles in agreement. He's right, she has to believe in him and she will.

Masaya still frowns, wishing he could do more but if there's anyone who could win against such a foe; it's Yugi. He has to win or else… Ichigo… no, he has to.

Yugi gazes calmly, directly at Aizen's eyes as the man smiles just as calmly as him.

''… Are you satisfied with all of this?'' He finally asks him, looking at the destruction left in this empty fake city.

''If you're referring to all of these battles; no, I still lack the Soul Key.'' Aizen answers him, rather disappointed how not even his army did as he expected. Yugi scowls at that comment, proclaiming annoyed. ''All for a stupid key…''

Raising his right index finger, Aizen politely asks him with a stern voice. ''Mind that tone, Yugi Mutou.''

''Sorry but I'm just annoyed by all this pointless fighting.'' Yugi actually apologizes though still very clearly mad. ''You can imagine how all of this was pointless for your precious key.''

Aizen oddly smiles at that remark. He was expecting more from his Espadas; he'll have to try harder next time.

''Then it's only right that we settle things then. My throne waits for me.'' He proclaims to the Dragon Knight, wanting to reach his destination first.

''…'' Yugi looks at him silently, really badly wanting to beat him but something has been bugging him and Urahara never really clarified why. If there's ever a person who can explain all of this, might as well come from the horse himself.

''May I ask you something before we start?'' Aizen hums, looking at Yugi who frowns puzzled, asking him. ''Your goal with that Soul Key. Why?''

Aizen looks at him, able to tell that Yugi was indeed curious about his motives. It would be wrong of him to simply put him down because he is at least a well calm and intelligent being for an adolescent teenager. He smirks, not sure why he's going to even tell him but… he is curious for his reaction.

"Simple response…'' He begins to reveal his goal as sheathes his Zanpakuto as he raises his right hand to the sky and clenches it. ''To end the falsehood of that thing.''

Yugi raises an eyebrow, questioning that response. ''What do you mean by that thing?''

Aizen puts down his arm, staring at him and scoffs, still smiling.

''What if I told you the world was all created and manipulated by a single being with such power that he became a husk, a mere sin by the actions of the selfish royals and the being's own private squad?'' He bluntly reveals to him to Yamamoto's shock, grunting as he lies on the ground to get up but couldn't for how badly burned he was.

Yugi still has a confused expression, still not following. It confirms Aizen's suspicions that no one told him the truth.

It doesn't take long for Aizen to explain himself with the truth of the God of spiritual realms. ''The being I'm referring to, the Soul King, was the one who created this world, governed it with such might, such impossible power and miracles until he was ripped apart by the very beings who he created. In their mindset, they wanted to govern Soul Society to their liking and the mere fear that their God would one day dispose of them all. Thus how the Zero Division and the Royal Families, the one who committed the sin, were established.''

Yugi listens to all of that and he slightly opens up his mouth a bit, taken back by this insane revelation.

''You're doing all of this because you don't like what they did to this Soul King?'' Yugi concludes with an assumption to Aizen's goal however he shakes his head and corrects him politely yet with a narrow gaze. ''No. I'm doing all of this because of the façade we were lied about. The corrupted system, the unfair system where people must follow a thing called God.''

Yugi makes a face of confusion as Aizen once more clarifies to the young boy. ''They disposed of him by dismantling piece-by-piece of his body, limps and soul. Why should an almighty being be reduced to something so vile and pathetic. Why must we serve a God who itself is being used to established a living system so tainted that it creates only monsters.''

That last part got to Yugi, reflecting to Light but the only difference is Aizen doesn't seek godhood like him; he seeks an answer.

Aizen, for a moment, narrows his eyes in disgust as he reflects on the day he learned that truth and it still bothers him even now.

''It sickens me; it sickens Tosen for the unfairness that the Royal Families have manipulated the world, it sickens that all Shinigami follow a thing so faithfully.'' He expresses with such a livid tone before adding with conviction. ''One with power should govern the world and that is why I must break these chains. To surpass that thing and become the new Soul King!''

''…'' Yugi is silent by this revelation before asking him to confirm. ''So, you want his job then?''

Aizen just smiles and responds. ''In a way for you to comprehend, yes. To wipe the stain clean and bring a new era. A world where people depend on themselves thus severing the chains of needing someone stronger.''

''And that justifies all this destruction?'' The Dragon Knight questions his methods only for Aizen to answer justly. ''A necessarily.'' He gazes at him, questioning him now. ''Even someone like you should understand this.''

Yugi narrows his dragon eyes angrily, refusing to agree with that.

Aizen just smiles as he explains himself. ''The weak fear the strong and thus they seal them away. But the cycle will only create new strong ones and they will be suppressed or worst by those weaker and fearful of them.'' He gazes upon Yugi's form; the power he's gained but also the target placed on his back. ''You were once weak and you gained power to protect your loved ones. And those same loved ones also desire power to keep up with you. In a way, the Espada and myself are not so different to you and Team Dragon Knight, no?''

Yugi just glares at that statement as Aizen further proclaims. ''And you know the day will come that you and your comrades will become feared and worse, sealed away to maintain this illusion of balance across this world.'' He can already see that happening. It would have happened to Takao eventually; the weak are always afraid of the strong.

He raises his hand to the Dragon Knight, offering him an alternative to such a fate. ''What I offer is the end to that; the end of the need of such a cycle and a true new world to be born under my vision. I will create a world of only true victors, true indepedence. After all…'' Smiling, Aizen spreads his arms like some messiah. ''I understand the pointlessness of such a cycle and the fury of those who fear power. I am fit to God's throne, fit to change the world.''

Yamamoto glares firmly, enraged by Aizen's actions. Why all of this? Just because of the Soul King?

Yugi stares at him silently, wondering… before he cracks a smile and finally speaks up. ''… You're right about me starting weak. I was really weak, easy to be picked at and used by others. I never had the courage in myself or believed in myself.''

He recalls his times of being bullied, an easy prey from others; but… that never bothered him. Only one thing did bother him.

''Most would have wanted power, the means to combat such bullies but I… I just wanted friends.'' He proclaims, smiling softly as being the only thing that matters to him. ''And I wanted friends who understood me, who get me because I was kind. And they trust in me, know I will be there. I guess you can say trust is important.''

Yugi reaches and touches the center of the Millennium Puzzle, recalling the final words he told him back then. A duelist never cries, they embrace victory, that his greatest power is how he connects to others and the compassion he shows others, even to his own enemies. A pure soul who will never break. Kindness was strength.

''A friend told me my greatest strength, my true power is my kindness!'' Yugi proclaims with a bright smile, actually laughing joyfully as he eyes the Dragon Blade in his hand. ''These powers I have, me being the Dragon Knight; as grateful as I am to them, they don't compare to the kindness in my heart. No, in fact, it's this kindness that makes these powers shine even brightly!''

Aizen stares at him silently with a narrow gaze. Yugi then declares, understanding him a bit. ''Aizen-kun, I understand you a little more now and what Soul Society is but simply being a God and shattering the order of the world won't change anything.'' He narrows his gaze determinedly. ''I don't know the kind of life you had but the way you see people; the way you treat them! If I let you create your world, then it'll be a world born of cruelty and distrust!''

He can't forgive Aizen's actions, his uncaring nature even towards his own army and what he's done to discard even those who follow him.

''I bet that Soul King felt the same, once kind but those he trusted betrayed him.'' Yugi then expresses, wondering if the Soul King allowed his fate to happen because he was that kind. So that would mean the same can happen to him.

''I guess I would be betrayed one day…'' He utters saddeningly, wondering if the same fate will happen but he can't help but disagree, proclaiming strongly. ''But I won't because I have amazing friends and loved ones who do trust in me and I trust in them. I know we can change things and I know we can. By having kindness and love ones, I will change how this world works because it's the promise I made to my friend!''

He then raises his blade, finally vowing to him. ''I'll handle these royal families, this Zero Division and you for the future I want to protect for my friends, for theirs, for my Ichigo-kun and for myself! We decide our future, through our trust and bonds! That is the duty- that is who the Dragon Knight is!''

''…'' Aizen is silent by his own speech, not even sure what to say or remark to… as it's almost a mirror declaration that Takao Mutou told him all those years ago. But this… this was different. Kindness. Such a bizarre word and yet the message is similar.

''How can they think the same way?'' He questions, gazing upon the young boy who mimics his father's outward appearance.

''It seems like father; the son believes in something nonsensical.'' Sighing with a small smile, Aizen begins to say as he reaches his Zanpakuto and withdraws it. He then says it and points it at Yugi, declaring. ''Then I will have no choice but to strike you down, Dragon Knight.''

Yugi smirks as his aura erupts. Aizen still smiles as his Spiritual Energy vibrates. The two energies collide and shake the world around them. This will be the climactic fight to decide this battle.

Commercial Break:

The world trembles by the sheer energy coming from both Yugi and Aizen. They gaze at the other, almost testing the other by their energy. This fight will determine who has a stronger will.

Shinji watches, horrified at how much stronger Aizen is and Yugi is as well. It's insane.

"Come.'' Aizen taunts Yugi to come at him but the Dragon Knight smirks. ''Nah, you can come at me first.''

Aizen scoffs, still smirking as he's rather amused. Is he lying? No, but he needs to confirm it.

''It is quite alright to be afraid.'' He affirms that Yugi is afraid to engage since he's aware he's only been using most of his true power in their last fight. ''After all, our last confrontation was I holding back as much of my power to scale you.''

''… You're right.'' Yugi oddly admits with a small smile. It's then that Aizen widens his eyes as Yugi has vanished before him and appears right behind him, smirking as he tells him very cocky. ''Then this time, don't hold anything back! I want our fight to be as fair and maybe a bit of fun for you.''

He barely even saw him move to get behind him. Aizen oddly grins to Shinji's surprise and this wasn't an ordinary grin; he gleeted with joy. ''He's-''

Almost without blinking an eye, the two have suddenly swung and clash their blades against the other, moving so fast to clash their blades. Sparks fly out between them as their eyes are locked firmly at the other. They vanish and dash across the sky like blurs or mirages as if they were never there. In reality, Yugi and Aizen are reacting to the other as if they're engaging in normal speed. Blades cross as they intercept the other's strikes with ease.

Aizen vanishes, leaving behind multiple afterimages to confuse Yugi. He just smirks as he ducks and evades a horizontal swing from behind by Aizen and follows it with a vertical swing that his arm is stopped by Yugi's dragon tail wrapped around his arm. The tail swings and sends Aizen flying towards a building but he stops himself only to evade a thrusting strike from the Dragon Blade by flying up and then swings downward. Yugi blocks with his wings, repelling the sword strike and then he smacks him away.

Aizen is thrown backwards just in time to block a sword strike by Yugi who rams him across the side of a building, pinning him there.

''You said to Kurosaki-kun that you wanted a close-up fight.'' Yugi taunts him with a small smirk. Aizen smirks back, replying just as cocky as him. ''I did, didn't I?'' He swings and repels him back.

As they clash, Aizen is actually enjoying himself. In the first time of his life; this excites him. He never forged a contingency plan for the Dragon Knight. After all, this is what he wanted to prove. Was Takao Mutou's beliefs as the Dragon Knight the better path or is his own beliefs grander to reach above God. And this is a fight he is meant to win.

They then vanish and pop within seconds across multiple parts of the skies, clashing and striking the other's swords at the other before vanishing. They were like fireworks that danced across the sky as the empty buildings shook and begin to crack by their sheer power. Shinji tries keeping up with the fight but scoffs, uttering helplessly. ''They're hard to track down. Damn.''

The fireworks as a massive quake moves across the fake city just the two reappear on top of a rooftop, locking blades once more. Yugi glares as he starts pulling back and performing swift blade swings, moving faster and faster as if Aizen is parrying or reflecting 5 of him at the same time.

Aizen then forms his green shield, El Escudo, to repel and block Yugi's blade except he pushes forward and shatters it. This takes the Shinigami by surprise as Yugi performs an upward swing at Aizen's head who leans back and dodges it but not the dragon tail smacking him across the gut and sends him pummeling across the edge of the rooftop before sent flying downward towards the ground… until Aizen stops in midair in the last second of crashing. However, as he smirks, Aizen suddenly bleeds out from his mouth.

He gasps, wiping the blood off his lips as he breathes heavily. This was indeed new to him as he watched Yugi descend right in front of him, smirking.

''Don't tell me that hit actually made you bleed, Aizen-kun!'' He taunts him, very humorous. Aizen scoffs off the remark as he insults him. ''Is this overconfidence a trait of a dragon? If so, such an attitude will lead you to your own grave.''

''I doubt it. I'm no God.'' Yugi remarks back before charging at him, faster. Aizen has time to move to the left with Shunpo only to gasp as he finds Yugi punching him across the gut and pushes him backwards. He stops himself again but Aizen is shocked as he should have seen him coming.

Yugi then comes at him again, moving faster as Aizen dodge to the right to evade the kick and then ducks for the tail and then the upward swing by stepping back. He smirks until he's bash across the side of his face by Yugi's arm, launching him backwards.

''Where did all that speed come from?'' Aizen questions in disbelief, stopping himself again. He recalls what Takao told him once about it, the two-headed dragon linked to the original Dragon Knight and the limitless potential he had.

''Is this what Takao said; the true power of a Dragon Knight?'' He concludes only to realize Yugi is right in front of him, extending back his left fist.

''DRAGONAUN…'' Yugi begins to utter but Aizen pulls back and holds his blade in a reverse grip. Shinji panics as he's activating Kyoka Suigetsu. Yugi doesn't care as he dashes straight at him, unaffected by his illusions to Aizen's unease.

''GEYSER!'' He roars, slamming his left arm as it's consumed in fiery flames.

''Hado #58: Tenran.'' Aizen, quickly raising his left hand in front of his fist, shouts as he unleashes a burst of wind in the form of a small tornado. The tornado clashes against Yugi's fist as he erupts a burst of flames resembling a Geyser. The wind and flames explode on impact, smoking covering their views.

''I will not lose to some child and his naivety about kindness.'' Aizen tells himself, refusing to let the boy's naïve ideals get the best out of him. He breathes, holding his Zanpakuto with one hand over the back of the blade part of his weapon.

''DRAGONAUN BURST!'' Shouting, a burst of particle purple flames fire from Aizen's back, belonging to Yugi. However, he turns around and shouts, holding his glowing Kyoka Suigetsu at the approaching beam. ''Hado #78: Zangerin.'' He fires a large amount of fiery energy blast against Yugi's own blast and the two explode, blasting away the dense smoke as well as destroying a few buildings too.

It spreads but the two are swinging and repelling the other's blades before Yugi dashes forward, kicking Aizen into the air as he leaps and pursues him.

''DRAGONAUN AETHER!'' Flying past him, Yugi roars as he performs a spinning somersaults and swings his Dragon Blade right at him. However, Aizen smirks as he utters out calmly as he thrusts his free hand towards Yugi. ''Hado #57: Daichi Ten'yo.''

Suddenly hundreds of debris (destroyed walls, pipes, metal, etc) from the battles going on levitate on their own and are all thrown at top speed towards Yugi as he's swinging downward. The objects slam themselves to a confused Yugi, sending him crashing onto a building

Yugi grunts nearly his whole body but his left hand is completely covered by the debris. He sighs, breathing before he lets a roar as the objects are blasted off him. He gazes at Aizen and comes at him, charging but this is all part of Aizen's plan to distract him.

''Sprinkled on the bones of the beast. Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle." Aizen begins to chant calmly as he ducks a slash from Yugi as his tail thrusts itself towards him but he vanishes. Now Aizen reappears at Yugi's exposed side, placing a hand across his chest as he sees an orb of yellow energy generating and building up across Aizen's hand. ''Hado #63: Raikoho.''

Yugi can only widen his eyes as the concentrating orb expands, releasing a massive burst of electrical energy that vaporizes the tops of buildings within its radius.

Shinji watches in horror as the blast clears away and shows no signs of Yugi. No, he couldn't-

''Sigh. Seems I obliterated-'' Sighing disappointed, Aizen begins to proclaim the destruction of the- His words are cut short as he's kicked across the face by a teleported Yugi, sending him crashing on top of a rooftop. Shinji drops his jaw in disbelief. How?!

''Phew, close one!'' Yugi utters in relief, having his left index and middle finger on his forehead. He used Instant Transmission, in the last second, to evade the blast. Though, if that attack hit… well he's thankful he evaded it.

Starting to get annoyed, Aizen stands up from the kick before he comes at him again as does Yugi; once more both their blades ramming and bashing the other in an intense clash.

''How will kindness even be able to change or challenge those with greater power?'' Aizen begins to question Yugi's flawed ideal, knowing full well such things cannot oppose the reality of fate and it gets under his skin. "Such ideals will die faster than one willing to take charge. We both know that!''

Yugi glares irritated before he answers, pushing back Aizen's blade. ''If being strong is that important; then you're not as smart as I thought you were!'' He comes at him, swinging his blade with precise multiple strikes that Aizen is forced to block each one. ''There's more than just having more power; it's being able to wield power for others! To use it to make the world better for everyone without forcing change!''

The Dragon Knight then swings his blade in an arc swing, releasing a burst of flames that Aizen blocks with his Zanpakuto, resisting it partly.

''I have so many amazing friends and I wouldn't have any of them if I didn't care for them or the desire of the strength to protect them more and more. But I do and we fight together!'' Yugi proclaims with a smile across his face, no longer the same who feared the possibility of becoming a monster. ''That's why I will use my ideals and kindness to oppose the strong; not for a desire of power or want to be a God but like my parents and my friends expect me to be, to be my own true Dragon Knight!''

Aizen looks at him, gazing firmly. Yugi clenches up his left hand, declaring passionately. ''That's why I'll defeat you, here and now!''

Yugi now dashes with such speed that he is already in front of the Shinigami, swinging the Dragon Blade at him instantly if not for Aizen to block the swing and he is instantly pushed back with such force onto a wall of a building.

''HERE I GO! DRAGONAUN-'' He begins to roar, clasping his left hand like a claw as it ignites into dark purple flames as Aizen forms his green shield to defend himself. "VOID CLAW!'' His hand is covered by purple intense flames, resembling a dragon's claw as he swings forward and literally tears through El Escudo. Aizen is shocked as Yugi then shouts as he uses his motivation to twirl around as his tail comes swinging, erupting fiery energy. ''DRAGONAUN SCREW WHIP!''

His tail drills forward, spinning rapidly like a drill at him. Aizen quickly uses Hado #31: Shakkaho with his left hand, blasting upon him but the tail penetrates through the attack and nearly stabs Aizen if he doesn't dodge it.

''I-Impossible.'' He utters in dismay, not believing that was even possible. However, his eyes widen as Yugi is gone like-

''DRAGONAUN OMNISLASH!'' He turns around and sees Yugi coming right at his side, already swinging his blade at him. Aizen quickly repels, blocking each quick-pace swing until the 8th one breaks his guard and then swings a last one, cutting through his sword arm. He gasps in agony, blood dripping from his injured arm. This actually damaged him?! How can he be this-

Yugi then shouts, swinging his right leg as it's coated in flames. ''DRAGONAUN IMPACT!'' Aizen tries to use Kyoka Suigetsu but Yugi kicks him through a building, unaffected by his illusion. He's slammed through all while his sword arm is too damaged.

Aizen tries to move but his body trembles, struggling to even function properly. He looks confused as this should be enough for the Hogyoku within him to trigger and yet responses with nothing from Yugi. ''Why isn't the Hogyoku responding? It should-'' He begins to question as he comes out from the other side, breathing as he needs to-

''DRAGONAUN SABER!'' Yugi's voice roars as the building is literally cut through by the extending energy blade with Yugi flying at top speed at him. Raising his left hand, Aizen tries to cast a Kido spell until Yugi vanishes. He panics as Yugi reappears behind him, swinging his blade at full force. Aizen triggers Millon Escuda to guard against this enhanced blade swing but the Dragonaun Saber tears through the powerful shield to his horror.

The blade cuts through the shield and nearly Aizen if he doesn't turn around and guards with his Zanpakuto only for the swing to be too much and blasts away, further causing more blood to erupt from his wounded arm. His clothes are torned and burned marked damage with scratches on his body. As he's flying back, Aizen realizes what is happening as he says mentally. ''Unless he is that much stronger than me that he has no doubts or any real desire to defeat me?!''

But that assumption means he's stronger then him?! This is unheard of. Not even Takao was this strong but his son surpassed him and even himself?!

''DRAGONAUN…'' Raising his Dragon Blade with both hands, Yugi begins to roar as swirls of purple flames wrap around the blade and expand its energy. It begins to manifest as a dragon's head, roaring powerfully.

Aizen can only watch as this attack will connect and actually destroy him. How? How can this be happening all while the Hogyoku is refusing to activate. Why?! He's done everything to make everyone have a strong desire to win but Yugi… he is that certain he will win?! He hasn't felt like this… not since his first confrontation with Sufferess. That thing… it was in a world of its own, power that eclipses and no equal. Is this what he's feeling?

''Am I…'' Beginning to feel a sensation of fear, Aizen questions himself as he watches Yugi's attack charging up. ''Actually going to lose? To lose my one and only chance to…''

''Wow, this human really is picking on you huh?'' It's at that moment the world around drops like a water droplet and Aizen finds himself in some shrine of sorts. He scoffs, turning around to see her and this was a surprise as he had no reason to call for her.

Facing forward at the large, perfect white moon and lying down in an elegant pose, is a beautiful woman with long princess, lavender colored hair. She wears a gorgeous, sparkling-like shoulderless kimono outfit while holding a large hand mirror in her arm.

''I'm amazed you appeared when I didn't ask for you.'' Aizen proclaims, smirking calmly as she would never appear before him unless she wished to. The woman does not answer him, simply staring at her reflection, her endless beauty without once turning around to face him and yet she can see him fine through his reflection.

''And I don't bother wanting to hear your ideals or thoughts either! You never bothered talking to me!'' She finally speaks with an arrogant, loud tone for something so beautiful, gazing at his reflection with such coldness from her clear silver eyes. She didn't want to see him or even acknowledge him when he denied her existence and yet that changed when he was losing to that child. ''But that boy sure is pushing you. And he's not the lab rat you accidentally created!'' She mocks that creation he made.

Aizen doesn't respond to the remark as she lowers her mirror and turns her head only half way with one eye gazing coldly at him.

''How ironic to be losing no less to the son of your so-called best friend!'' The woman mocks him at his inability to even fight the previous Dragon Knight's son. ''If only you followed him than becoming a God instead.''

Aizen narrows his gaze at her, showing a hint of annoyance before questioning her presence. ''… Explain why you're here. If you assume I am bested, you will only be greatly disappointed. We both know who deserves to be on top of the said heavens, fittingly.''

''… Use my full power.'' The woman suddenly declares to Aizen's confusion. This was a first from her, smirking softly before taunting her. ''Are you that worried I might lose to a child?''

She doesn't need to ask him if she can already tell that the boy was beating him, proclaiming. ''You are losing and I cannot accept anyone to resist or fight under my world!''

Aizen looks at her before he smiles, now realizing why she's here.

''So that's what it is. You feel inferior to his power.'' He concludes, causing the woman to scowl and once more remind him. ''As you are with him! Face it, Sosuke, you can't win without me.''

There's a moment of silence, a brief silence, before Aizen can't help but grin softly.

''… It seems you're right.'' He openly admits to her that Yugi is… a concern now to his plans. The woman finally smirks as she turns her head away, looking back at her mirror before proclaiming boastfully. ''Of course I am always right. I am a Goddess among spirits, a being that transcends reality!''

Aizen scoffs with amusement as he turns his back away from her.

''Fine, I will use you then…'' He takes her offer before narrowing her eyes to her direction. ''Kyoka Suigetsu.''

''TEN-'' Yugi begins to roar, readying his signature attack until Aizen suddenly vanishes. Yugi stops his attacks and turns around, eyeing Aizen who got away before he fired his attack. Though, Yugi can feel something has changed about his aura.

Breathing, Aizen just looks at the horizon of the world before him, a world manipulated and altered by a thing that shouldn't be worshiped; that has no right to be a God. No… A true God is not one who declares themselves as or showcases their power, but one who rightfully stands above all and creation itself. And that will be him.

''It seems I've had my filled with you, Mutou-kun.'' Aizen proclaims, turning around to face him and smiling. He soon acknowledges himself. ''You are strong, possibly stronger than one such as I and your own father. You have my respect, Dragon Knight Yugi.''

Yugi is surprised by that but he can tell there's more to that.

''But you are not the one I desire to fight.'' Aizen then announces as he reveals to have only 1 individual worthy of challenging him to the throne. ''That position goes to Ichigo Kurosaki.''

This surprises Yugi heavily, asking right away in confusion. ''Huh? Why Kurosaki-kun?''

Cracking a small smirk, Aizen answers ominously yet mysteriously. ''You could say…'' He has a moment to remember that dark rain down and the image of a Hollow resembling the Vasto Lorde as well as the images of Isshin and Misaki's fight with the white devil. ''I was responsible for his creation.''

Yugi makes an expression, not following what he meant by that but also not liking it.

''But for you, I will show you the glimpse of my true power.'' Aizen then declares, knowing he has no reason to waste time against him anymore as he forces his sword arm to move upward as it bleeds. ''Witness the difference between hopelessness and despair.''

Instead of the reverse grip he would activate Kyoka Suigetsu; Aizen holds his Zanpakuto upward as he moves it slightly up and it pierces through the very fabric of reality.

''Ban…'' Yugi widens his eyes as Aizen, smirking once more, begins to utter a single word that all Shinigami would tremble towards. ''Kai.''

The pierced fabric then shines and expands. Shinji watches, covering his eyes just as Mew Ichigo arrives in a hurry to see this in shock. ''Yugi-kun!''

The light blinds everything…

Soon it fades away as Yugi looks forward, glaring at Aizen who smirks softly. He looks around him as nothing has- He then realizes everyone is gone; only the two of them are left. He even uses his Aura to detect the others but nothing. It's completely empty but when did-

''You assume we are still in the real world.'' Yugi looks at Aizen who says and follows it with a welcoming smile. ''Welcome to my Illusionary World: Zettai no Kyoka Suigetsu.'' As he says those words, the sky, the ground, everything around them almost glows or causes a light reflection to occur for a brief second.

Yugi notices this as his senses are going crazy just being inside of this place.

''This place feels…'' He tries to utter something about this world that is not real, only for Aizen to ask him. ''Do you feel it?''

The Dragon Knight faces him, holding his blade forward to Aizen's amusement.

''Relax and let this end quickly.'' He tells him calmly as his eyes gaze down at the child who will experience a hell he never dream that can exist. ''In my world; only despair awaits for you.''

Aizen, forced into a corner, activates his Bankai against Yugi as everything there is created by Aizen's will, even those closest to the Dragon Knight. It quickly becomes too much for Yugi to overcome. Things seem hopeless until piercing through the world of fakeness is the pure voice of a sweetheart. Hearing her clearly, Yugi regained a burning desire in his heart and soul. The Dragon Knight placed all his power to create a miracle against the fake world and defeat the enemy before him. Will that do it?

DragonKnight15: What can one say if the world around them is as fake as a fleeting dream? What could one do against the might of the illusion around them? Against the horror of questioning if one is fake or one is real. Could there be any Hope in a world that manifests its own hope?

Author's Note: Kojan vs Darkus. It's short (wish it was longer) but it says much about the two. Akumu/Darkus' disdain towards Yugi and Kojan's with "Madara". And despair too hmm… I wonder how much?

So before someone asks, Mew Blackberry is still getting used to recovering her full strength (much like the Dark Lord way back in Volume 1-5) so it's no dud that Sasuke, Selvaria and Metal Sonic are overwhelming her. Also… geez, maybe Taka is outdated with a Valkyria and a literal robot assassin based on Sonic. And maybe more if more Executioners are added.

It's also nice that Ichigo and Hime meet again not since Volume 3. Another reason why I brought her back; both being cat girls and technically, Hime came first before Ichigo and it's like "teacher and student" or heroes passing the torch.

… Oh… we're actually going to talk about that. There is a Bleach Novel that many fans talk about; Can't Fear Your Own World. It reveals the truth about the Soul King, the Zero Division and the Royal Families of Soul Society and how the world was created and why the Soul King was a husk. NOW… Why the hell would Aizen reveal this to Yugi? For one, he told the same thing to his father all those years ago and 2, he knows the boy is open-minded. He figures he would understand and realize the world is wrong and he can fix it all by replacing the Soul King. To end so many pointless cycles, including the necessity of the Strong and Weak. But Yugi declines because of his Kindness. That is his humanity, the thing that makes Yugi himself and the vow he made to Atem; to protect the world he loved. So for him, for his friends and those who left this world; Yugi will challenge the wrongs of the world and make a better world with the kindness, bonds and love in his heart and soul. For that is the key to being a true Dragon Knight… we will talk about that another time.

Yugi vs Aizen Round 2 is probably even crazier since Aizen is no longer holding anything back but he underestimates how much stronger Yugi has become since their last fight and even this whole Volume. From a power-up to an increase of his strength; Yugi can actually challenge and overpowered BASE AIZEN. It doesn't say much now that Yugi is top tier now.

… So I hope, one day, Bleach Brave Souls do something like missing Bankai we have yet to see, maybe the Zanpakuto Spirits we couldn't see and of course… the topic of today: What the hell is Kyoka Suigetsu and Aizen's Bankai?! I don't know if we will get that answer but if we do, well we'll know?! For now… here is my take for Kyoka Suigetsu and Aizen's Bankai for DKR.

First is the Zanpakuto Spirit. As we learned, Shinigami and their Zanpakuto are connected and one and the same; they are an extension of the wielder like I guess both Zangetsus and Ichigo or what we saw in the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc (probably the best Bleach Filler Arc in my honest opinion). Like at least we can assume Gin's Zanpakuto follow him since his plan was always for Rangiku (still is in DKR) and Tosen's Zanpakuto isn't his but his dead master so we can assume that Zanpakuto is willing to follow Tosen for the pursuit of justice/revenge. My question is… WHAT ABOUT AIZEN'S?

Here's my take: Kyoka Suigetsu (think of her as a godly-like maiden similar to the Goddess, Amaterasu) is an arrogant, boastful and confident Zanpakuto who believes her power is unrivaled. She believes none could hope to damage or surpass her, not afraid to seek greater power to stand above all Zanpakuto. This could explain why Shikai Kyoka Suigetsu is almost like a Bankai; it's that powerful. However, where it differs between her and Aizen is that she cares not for the world around her, only her very existence like she is a sun or Aizen's goals. In fact, you could say both Aizen and Kyoka Suigetsu are not in the best terms similar to Hollow Zangetsu and Ichigo but here it's more like Aizen cares little of her egoist nature and she cares little for his own god complex. However, the two would come to an agreement if let's say they were losing to someone stronger than Aizen, like DKR Yugi. And if that happens, she will cooperate herself with Aizen and he will wield her true power…

And we will see that full power next time but know this… it's scary for not even Yin-Yang Dragon's power to nullify haxes will do little good against Aizen now.

Let me know what you guys think of the DKR version of Kyoka Suigetsu. I figure a female would work for Aizen's character, maybe go into depth why Aizen's charm for women is so strong.
