SK Future: Universe of Pokémon Part 2
Ash begins talking with Sora and Sly as he's walking down the road. "Ever heard of Pokémon, Sora, Sly?" "We've been to a lot of worlds, and we've never heard that name." "They're animals that are everywhere in this world. People like to battle them for fun, and some like to do the Gym Challenge or contests. Right, Pikachu?" "Pika Pika!" "I think he likes you two already. If you want to barrow my Pokédex, that's a little computer with info on lots of Pokémon, just say the word.. Anyway, that's my world, what's yours like?" Sora speaks. "In my world of worlds, there's a heart shaped moon called Kingdom Hearts that I've spent the last few years protecting from an evil Organization. Sly's from a family of thieves that steal from other thieves… recently there was a meteor shower, we got some jewels, and those jewels brought me, Sly and some other people together to protect the universe…" "About that…" Ash pulls a red jewel out of his pocket… "No. Way. You're one of this universes' Soul Princes!?!" "Soul Prince?" "You haven't had your "Great Clock moment" with the other Princes, got it. Makes the story even longer, but we can work with that. Sly can tell this one." "Storytime! I've done narration for lots of games by now…"

I'm going to skip this cutscene since it's mostly going over things from previous chapters and I don't want to repeat myself too much… it's a Sly 3 style cutscene going over what's happened since the meteor shower, events Sly and Sora expect Ash and his fellow Soul Princes to go through in this universe. Ash is this universe's Sora, a meta reference to that fanfic with over a million words where Sora goes on a Pokémon journey. You probably know the one…
Anyway, we end the cutscene as we come up on Pallet Town. Only to find it being attacked by Heartless.
Sora responds to this by saying, "Ash. Are you ready to experience being a Soul Prince first hand?" Ash looks over at Pikachu, who has a grin on his face. "You thinking what I'm thinking, Pikachu?" "Pika Pika!" As Ash, Sly and Sora run towards the Heartless we head into gameplay with a Kingdom Hearts style screen transition. You can swap to Ash from Sora or Sly, who I imagine uses a combat system similar to Legends Arceus when under player control, and he controls like a normal Kingdom Hearts party member otherwise. He's got some exclusive Drive abilities calling on various Pokémon he's caught over the years."It's almost Battle of 1000 Heartless levels of chaos…" Ash speaks. "I'm not surprised. They are going after a World Champion…" The area is finally cleared. Sora and Sly are tired out. "I think you two need some rest. Plus I have a chance to show you my Pokémon World Championship trophy…"
At Ash's home, Ash introduces his new friends to his mom, who, seeing they're tired, makes them some food. Sora says, "Thanks, Mrs. Ketchum! You didn't have to do this…" "Any friend of Ash is a friend of mine." Sora and Sly nod and head up to Ash's room upstairs. They find him polishing the trophy he mentioned earlier." "It took me a long time before I started winning in the League tournaments. Maybe a little too long. Do you want to hold the trophy for a little bit?" Sora nods, and when he puts a hand on the trophy, it starts glowing. "…it's not supposed to do that." The three of them look over to see a small Keyhole. "The main defense against Heartless, ladies and gentlemen. If we lock this, the Heartless should be prevented from doing any major damage. Sly, would you like to do the honors?" "With pleasure!" One iconic Keyhole sealing gesture later, and the Universe of Pokémon is saved from Heartless.
"You should be safer now that the Keyhole is locked. Now that I think about it, Bentley, our tech expert, left me a stash of Gummiphones. If you two need anything as you two go through what we did.." "I can reach you on that phone, got it. I'll let you know once I meet my Soul Princes." "Looking forward to it." As Sly and Sora walk back to the Starship for their next universal jump, you can hear Sly say, "Nice guy." "I know. It's nice to have another ally. Just in case."
