The general premise is a crossover between Doctor Who and The Owl House. However, the main concept was born from the idea that Luz Noceda would make a great companion to the 11th Doctor.

While investigating a strange energy in the middle of Connecticut, The Doctor is suddenly pulled into a different dimension... one where both whimsical and darkness co-exist. As two worlds separate, the Carrionites escape from the rift and plan to reshape reality. Stuck in a magical world, The Doctor allies himself with Luz, Eda and King to seal the rift before more chaos ensues.

The Owl lady was once the companion of one the most kind and noble yet controversial beings the Universe had to offer. That being said though, something like that has its baggage and toll on her.
