Episode 1: A Newer Hope

Chapter 2: Definitely Not Area 51

Though the People's Liberation Army had captured most of the major American military bases, and reduced many great cities to charred rubble, they still had a significant problem on their hands which was preventing a decisive victory from taking place- that problem being the ever-present nuisance of patriotic American rebels waging a complex campaign of guerrilla warfare, while remaining mostly unscathed by hiding out in the most remote areas of the country.

The war was being tediously prolonged, costing the invaders valuable resources, due to the unexpected resistance from the conquered peoples of the United States, who had mastered the art of asymmetric warfare, refusing to surrender themselves to a potential lifetime of slavery.

But another turn of events was on the horizon, one even more shocking and preposterous.

In a perfected covert plan, one so perilous that screwing up could result in history's most momentous act of genocide, the American resistance furtively informed its widely scattered surviving leaders to head to a hidden sanctum, one that the Axis forces were altogether unaware of, incredibly.

Disguising themselves as ordinary civilians and discarding any unnecessary belongings that could potentially give away their locations to the invaders, these brave souls weaved around Axis patrols and barricades, taking long winding scenic routes to avoid being caught, all while using an encrypted digital map which could be hacked into at any time, endangering the mission.

In spite of the very real possibility of the secure computer map system being hacked, it miraculously didn't happen at all, indicating that the People's Liberation Army still didn't have complete control and domination over the digital theater of war, even after conducting innumerable amounts of cyberattacks and sabotage operations.

Eventually, all these important survivors ended up in the vast red desert of southern Utah, almost 200 miles from the nearest Axis stronghold, where an isolated and disguised military base, one that was entirely absent from the maps, had been built.

Extreme and painstaking measures were made to keep this place hidden, and it was ominously known as "Area 666" among the general American public before the war, when urban legends and conspiracy theories were all the rage. Nobody really knew what the United States government was doing in this establishment, and there was a good reason why.

Turns out the leaders of the American resistance had gathered together at Area 666 specifically to discuss an "esoteric occult science project" kept under wraps and shrouded in secrecy for more than 5 decades, an endeavor that could very well be the United States' only hope for salvation...
