The sun was rising above the Aaronsdale skyline the morning after Atropheous was frozen. Count Trivium paced around the encased giant monster impatiently as the other Vyglass leaders watched on. The calm morning air was pierced by a loud cracking sound, Trivium looked up and noticed several jagged lines appearing in the crystal, "It won't be long now," he said with a manic grin. Lena glanced over to Kane, rolling her eyes but remained silent.

At the Air Base, Jazz rubbed her eyes with her heavily bandaged hands. She leaned back in her chair just as Alyssa entered the room, "Oh, I was looking for Taylor," she apologised before noticing Jazz's hands, "should you be out of bed?" she asked kindly.

"Probably not but these Zords aren't going to code to code themselves," the Scot sighed, "I would be done by now but I was bandaged by a complete oaf."

"Anything I can do to help?" the white ranger asked.

"Not unless you know how to program a zord," Jazz shrugged.

Alyssa chuckled, "I'm afraid not but I've applied plenty of bandages in my job, maybe I can give you some more movement."

"Worth a go," Jazz offered her hands to Alyssa who pulled up a chair next to her workstation, "I thought you were a teacher not a doctor," Jazz continued.

"Children find creative ways to hurt themselves," Alyssa smiled, "somehow I always end up as the appointed first aider on school trips."

"You were also our unofficial nurse if I remember correctly," Taylor added from the doorway, "I guess it would be pointless telling you to go back to bed?" she said towards her technical expert.

"If we don't get the backup Zords online, there won't be a tomorrow," Jazz watched as Alyssa and Taylor shared a look, "I'd rather die attached to a laptop than a hospital bed." The two Wild Force Ranger said nothing as Alyssa finished unwinding the bandages. Both veteran Rangers inhaled sharply at the sight of the burns, "I know, my career as a hand model is over," Jazz joked weakly.

"Doesn't it hurt," Alyssa asked, "typing must be agony."

"They've given me the good painkillers, I've got a few hours before I need topping up," Jazz replied glibly.

Taylor shook her head, "For the record I'm not happy about this."

"I know," Jazz said firmly, "but this is my choice, no one else's." Alyssa finished rebandaging Jazz's hands, making sure to left as much room for movement as she could. Jazz stiffly moved her fingers and thumbs, "Much better, thank you."

The base alarm suddenly went off and moments later, the Jet Force and remaining Wild Force Rangers bundled through the door, "I take it that's not a morning alarm," Max blearily ran his hands over his face.

"I'm afraid not," Mark replied, "we've got trouble in the city," he paused went he spotted Jazz at her desk, "shouldn't you be in bed?"

"Don't get me started," Taylor replied with a groan whilst walking over to her desk. Pushing a few buttons she brought up an image of Atropheous, "Looks like we're out of time, the cocoon is cracking."

"I thought we'd have longer," Harley groaned.

"Unfortunately the super beast from hell has other ideas," Ricky replied.

"I need more time to finish programming the zords, can you buy me half an hour?" Jazz asked the assembled Rangers.

"We'll do our best," Cole replied, "I'll contact Princess Shayla and see if the mystery egg is ready."

"What about the Wild Zords?" Alyssa asked, "they took a beating yesterday,"

"They'll come and help if needed, they always do," Taylor sighed, "see if the Princess has heard from Merrick too," she said to Cole, "we could use his Predazord if needed."

"For now we fight at street level," Mark said to the assembled Rangers, "an evacuation order was given but no everyone will have left." He then turned to Jazz, "Don't burn yourself out trying to get the Zords online, we do have other options." Reluctantly, Jazz nodded in agreement, "Right, let's move out," Mark ordered the Rangers and they filed out the control room.

Far away on the Animarium, Princess Shayla answered the call from Cole, "The Wild Zords are well rested and ready if needed," she said into her communication device. Her face fell as Cole continued, "No I haven't heard from Merrick, I will keep trying." Faintly, she thought she heard the mournful cry of the Deer Zord in the distance.

Disconnecting the call she knelt down at the sacred water pool, calling forth an image of the egg deep in the forest. Suddenly a crack appeared in the shell and it burst with a blinding light. "Oh my," the Princess gasped when the light cleared, "we must get you to the Rangers at once."

In the nearly deserted city the ten Rangers were clearing away any lingering civilians, Harley in particular was taking liberties with people trying to record the cracking cocoon, "Hey dumbasses," he called, "the next person I see with a camera in their hands will get it inserted somewhere uncomfortable."

"Nice PR work," Danny whispered beside him, "this wasn't much of a problem in our day."

"People will do anything for a picture like or video hit these days," Harley grumbled.

"Are you bad mouthing the internet again," Rachel said breezily.

"Not everyone is as professional or as talented as you," Harley replied cheekily, behind her helmet Rachel grinned.

"You can have a good flirt later," Taylor stepped between the black and white rangers, "we've got trouble."

Heading towards them were Count Trivium, Prince Reise, Princess Lena, Kane and a legion of Gougers, "You found some reinforcements," the Count jeered, "do you really thing dusting off some old Power Rangers will help defeat us."

"Hey, less of the old," Max snapped back.

"You're never satisfied are you?" Taylor teased the blue ranger before turning to the Vyglass, "maybe we should show you what two teams of Power Rangers can do."

Taylor's words inspired a spontaneous roll call from her teammates, "Blazing Lion"

"Soaring Eagle"
"Surging Shark"

"Iron Bison"

"Noble Tiger"

"Power Rangers, Wild Force," the veteran's called with their signature pose.

"Our turn," Mark grinned beneath his helmet, "Red Hawk"

"Blue Swallow"

"Yellow Owl"

"White Swan"

There was a pause as everyone turned towards Harley, "Nope, not doin' it," he grumbled with his arms crossed, "I'm not into this cheesy crap."

"Go on," Rachel whispered, "just this once, for me."

The black ranger groaned, "Fine," he cleared his throat, "Black Condor," he called.

"Power Rangers Jet Force"

A bored looking Trivium raised an eyebrow, "Are you done?" he sighed, "Gougers, attack," he cried.

The legions of footsoldiers charged towards the Rangers, swinging their axes indiscriminately. Instinctively, the two Ranger teams paired off and tackled a few at a time, "My daughters are huge fans of your channel," Alyssa said to Rachel whilst kicking a Gouger in the midsection. She followed this up with a kick to the head of the next one in line, "Maybe I could have your autograph when this is over."

"I'll do you one better," Rachel replied, blasting a Gouger apart with her blaster, "how about a personalised video message, no charge." A Gouger grabbed her from behind but she managed to struggle free, sending the helpless creature straight into a kick from Alyssa, "Nice moves," the younger white ranger comments.

"I'll have to tell my Father I've still got it," Alyssa rolled her shoulders, "plenty more where they came from," Rachel nodded and quickly followed Alyssa.

"Save some for us," Stevie called, shocking two Gougers with her Jet Gauntlet, "I really hate these things," she grumbled.

"They're tougher than Putrids," Max said, cutting a footsoldier to pieces with his Shark Fins, "Surging Slash," he cried, sending a wave of energy across the street which eliminated half a dozen creatures.

Stevie snorted, "Not bad old man," she said, much to the indignation of Max, "let me show you how we do it in the twenty first century." She punched the ground with her gauntlet, producing a shockwave of energy that disintegrated all Gougers in her immediate vicinity, "Now that's how it's done," she said cockily.

Beneath his helmet Max opened his mouth but quickly shook his head, "Kids these days," he grumbled.

Harley was scrapping against a small group of Gougers, he was holding his own but more kept coming, "Need a hand?" Danny said to fellow black ranger.

"Got a fancy weapon to take them out?" Harley asked.

"No need," Danny crackled his knuckles and grabbed the nearest Gouger by the back of the neck. He through it across the street where it crashed into a building, leaving a cartoonish indent in the side, "I prefer a simpler approach when dealing with mooks."

"Like your style," Harley grinned, he dodged out the way of a Gouger's axe swing before poking the creature in the eye. With the Gouger stunned and blinded, he pushed it in Danny's direction, "Think fast," he called. Danny caught the staggering Gouger, driving his shoulder into its waist and lifting it onto his shoulders. He slammed it into the tarmac with a sickening crunch, "I think this is the start of somethin' beautiful," Harley nudged Danny on the shoulder.

"Let's not get cocky," Taylor shouted to the black rangers, "Gougers are dumb but they still have the number's advantage." A swing of her Eagle Sword chopped three Gougers down to size but more were coming by the second, "Ricky, covering fire," she said to the younger yellow ranger.

Ricky nodded and blasted the Gougers attacking from Taylor's rear, allowing her to focus on the Gougers coming directly towards her. Ricky got most of them but one was hidden from view by Taylor's body until the last second, "Major, duck," he called. Taylor instinctively did as instructed, dropping low as the blaster round flew over her helmet.

Despite her compromised position, Taylor was still able to lunge forward and stab another Gouger in the gut, "Good eye Ricky," she called, "keep it up."

"I think we're getting to the end," Cole added, hacking through a Gouger with his Crystal Sabre, "just a few more to go."

Mark was about to respond but a loud rumble from above cut him off. He looked up at Atropheous's cocoon and noticed an ominous red glow, "Everyone, get down," he cried just as the crystal structure exploded. Large pieces of debris rained down on the Rangers, fortunately all of them were able to dodge out the way. Free from his prison, Atropheous stretched his arms and let out an angry cry. Mark reached for his communicator, "Jazz, are the Zords ready?"

"Not yet, I'm going as fast as I can," came Jazz's pained response.

"Should we call the Wild Zords?" Danny asked the other Wild Force Rangers.

"I'm not sure if it will make a difference," Taylor sighed, "but it doesn't look like we have a choice." Just as they were about to summon their Zords, Taylor's Growl Phone rang, "Princess Shayla?" the yellow ranger answered.

"Taylor, the egg hatched," the Princess said, "I think this is just what you need."

The Rangers heard a bird's cry in the skies and turned to face the noise. Streaking towards them was a huge zord, black bodied with large white wings and razor sharp talons. The Zord appeared to be breathing smoke from its beak, "Is that one of ours?" Ricky asked, "what is it?"

"It looks like a Garuda," Alyssa replied, "a mythical bird from Hindu and South Asian mythology."

The Garuda Zord swooped towards Atropheous, attacking the beast with its talons. To everyone's surprise, Atropheous was briefly knocked back in pain, "Whatever it is, it packs a punch," Harley commented.

The Garuda Zord slowly titled upwards, its rear engine intakes lowering to the ground to become legs. The talons extended sideways to become arms and the head twisted at an angle as its warrior form was finally completed, "Doesn't look like it needs our help either," Mark added. The Gardua Megazord locked up with Atropheous, immediately it became clear that the two were evenly matched.

Count Trivium watched the new Megazord arrive, his jaw clenching as Atropheous struggled against the new arrival, "We should consider withdrawing," Kane suggested, "at least to a safe distance."

"In our moment of triumph," Trivium snorted, "do you doubt the power of Atropheous?" The other Vyglass leaders looked at each other but no one spoke, "Dispatch another wave of Gougers, let's keep the Rangers busy."

"I wouldn't recommend that," Kane responded, "it could seriously deplete our forces."

"When Atropheous squashes them, our forces will not be needed," Trivium snapped, "now do as I say you useless tin can." Kane paused and stiffly nodded in agreement.

Prince Reise snorted, "I trust you know what you're doing," Trivium glared hatefully at the young Prince but soon turned his attention back to the battle.

"Great, they just keep coming," Stevie grumbled, "any more bright ideas?"

Mark looked up at Atropheous and the Garuda Megazord battling overhead, "We keep fighting and trust that our new friend has this under control." The weary Rangers nodded and grunted in agreement before resuming their fight against the grunts.

Watching the unfolding battle, Jazz typed as fast as her injured hands would allow. She observed the Garuda Megazord slash at Atropheous with its razor sharp claws, finally putting a dent in the hell demon's armour. She had managed to finish programming on the Hawk and Swallow Zords but it was slow going, "There, commencing formatting on the Condor Zord," she sighed, stretching her aching fingers.

Whilst the upload was in progress, she ran a few scans on the Garuda Megazord, "Internal cockpit but also semi-autonomous", she commented, "good to know." A quick scroll through the readout told her something interesting, "Huh, looks like you're capable of additional modes." On another screen, she pulled up schematics of the Jet Zords, "I reckon you're compatible with each other," she grinned.

A buzzing from the city monitor grabbed her attention, Atropheous was gaining the upper hand on the Garuda Megazord, "Power levels falling," she slapped a hand against the desk, forgetting the burns on her palms. She bit her tongue until the pain started to subside, "Stupid thing to do," she grunted.

On screen, Atropheous swiped at the Garuda Megazord, catching it across the chest and sending it tumbling to the ground in a shower of sparks, "Come on, you were meant to be our last hope," she cried desperately. A buzzing from another screen alerted her that the Condor Zord was ready for programming, "If only you were ready," she said with a shake of her head.

Jazz was about to start typing but paused to look at her hands, "I was able to turn on that TV, I wonder," she chewed her lip, "Nah stupid idea." On the other screen, Atropheous was stomping on the Garuda Megazord, the Garuda was able to catch its leg and push it away but Atropheous was still in a dominate position. The Scot turned back to her programming computer and took a deep breath, "Well if this doesn't work, I haven't lost anything."

She stretched her hands over her keyboard and for a moment nothing happened. Suddenly her hands began to heat up and she snapped into a rigid seated position, her eyes fixed and unblinking. They flickered green as lines of codes began to type themselves at high speed across the screen. Within seconds, the programming for the Condor, Swan and Owl Zords were completed.

Jazz's body suddenly relaxed and she swayed in her seat. The bandages on her hands were singed around the edges and a few spots of blood were leaking through. "What a rush," she gasped faintly, "I need to launch," she managed to stutter, hitting a large button on her console before slumping over at her workstation.

At the battle site, the Jet Zords suddenly screeched overhead, aiming a volley of laser fire at Atropheous, "Did Jazz finish already?" Mark asked Taylor, "I didn't think she'd be done that quickly."

"Neither did I," Taylor frowned, she was about to call the Base went the Megazord began to form itself, "I think you should get up there," she said to the Red Jet Force Ranger.

Mark nodded in agreement, "You heard the Major," he said to his team, "to the Megazord." The Jet Force Rangers followed their leader's command and flew up to the Megazord.

"What's going on?" Max asked.

"No idea," Taylor shrugged, "let's focus on dealing with the Gougers first."

"Easier said than done now we've lost five Rangers," Danny countered, "we were just about holding them off with ten of us."

"Maybe I can even the odds," the Wild Force Rangers turned to see Jindrax walking towards them, "they hurt Toxica and they'll pay for that," she added, gripping his sword tightly.

The Wild Force Rangers look at each other, slowly coming to a silent agreement, "Plenty of Gougers to go around," Cole said for his team. Jindrax grinned wildly, summoning his swords and jumping into battle.

"He's starting to grow on me," Alyssa chuckled.

"Worrying isn't it," Taylor sighed whilst raising her Eagle Sword, "better not let him have all the fun," she added as the Wild Force Rangers resume their assault.

In the Jet Force Megazord cockpit, Mark was just about settled in his seat when he noticed something flashing on his screen, "It looks like schematics for a new Megazord formation," he commented.

Ricky looked over his shoulder, "That's part of the Garuda Megazord," he pointed at a couple of parts, "I think we can combine parts of our two Megazord together to make a stronger formation."

"Well, what are we waiting for," Stevie said, "time we showed Atropheous who's boss."

"Here we go," Mark pushed forward on his control stick, "initiating Avian Megazord formation."

The arms of the Jet Force Megazord detached from the body where they were replaced with the arms of the Garuda Megazord. The helmet of the Garuda Megazord slotted over the head of the Jet Force Megazord and the rear wings attached to the back. Finally the Owl and Swallow Zords, the original arms of the Megazord slotted back onto the new Megazord like giant shoulder pads, "Avian Megazord completed," Mark called.

"The power of this thing is off the scale," Rachel said after looking at her monitor, "will it be enough?"
"Only one way to find out," Mark replied, "let's move out."

Atropheous was momentarily stunned by the new Megazord but soon resumed its attack, only this time they barely had any impact on the Avian Megazord, "Not so tough now are you?" Harley commented, "try this on for size," he pushed his control column and the razor sharp claws of the Avian Megazord slashed chunks out of Atropheous.

"My turn," Stevie said gleefully, "Avian Beam," the helmet of the Megazord shone brightly and shot a beam of golden light at Atropheous. The attack tore off some of the beast protective armour, "Ha, take that," the blue ranger clapped.

"This is our best opportunity to take him out but we're going to need everything," Mark said to his team. The other Rangers grasped their control columns and prepared to push, "Avian Megazord, Final Strike," he called.

The Avian Megazord raised its claw hands level with its chest as an electric ball of blue energy formed. It grew until it thrust its hands towards Atropheous, sending the energy ball into the hell demon. Atropheous cried in pain, trying to fight against the attack. It wasn't strong enough though as it slowly began to disintegrate, crumbling into tiny fragments until there was nothing left but dust in the breeze.

On the ground, Count Trivium gaped at the empty space where Atropheous once stood, "Impossible," he said, sounding completely dumbfounded and broken, "that's not possible."

"And yet it happened," Reise shook his head, "your great weapon is no more."

The Wild Force Rangers sensed the Vyglass leadership was distracted, "Maybe we can finish this today," Taylor said to the others, "Jindrax, can you draw their attention for a few seconds?" she asked the Duke Org.

"It would be my pleasure," he replied.

"What are you planning Taylor?" Cole asked.

"A decapitation strike," the yellow ranger replied, "form the Jungle Sword and we can take out the leadership."

Cole nodded, "You heard Taylor, Jungle Sword now," the Wild Force Rangers combined their weapon and got into formation behind Cole, "Savage Slash," the red ranger called.

The attack flew towards Trivium, Reise and Lena and was about to hit when Kane suddenly jumped in the way. The cyborg took the full brunt of the attack, he staggered for a few seconds until he fell to the ground completely lifeless, "Kane," Lena cried.

She was about to avenge her fallen compatriot but Reise stopped her, "No, the Rangers have won today," she said, "but mark my words this isn't over." A portal opened and Reise pushed a catatonic Trivium through as Lena dragged Kane lifeless body away.

"Damnit," Taylor swore, "they got away."

A loud battle cry from Jindrax announced to everyone that he had finished the last of the Gougers off, "And stay down," he called, "I can't remember the last time I had that much fun."

"At least someone enjoyed themselves," Alyssa shook her head. She looked at the Avian Megazord before demorphing, "they did it," she nudged Taylor in the arm, "you must be proud."

Taylor powered down, "Trivium still got away though," she said glumly.

"You basically stopped an apocalypse today," Danny reminded her, "and gained a new Megazord, I'd call that a win overall."

Begrudgingly, Taylor had to agree, "I suppose so," she also looked up at the Avian Megazord, "they did well today, personally I'd put that down to excellent mentoring."

"I bet you do," Max chuckled, "now I dunno about anyone else but I'm starving, I haven't had breakfast yet."

The rest of the Wild Force Rangers chuckled and began to walk away but Taylor paused, "You coming Jindrax," she asked the Org.

"Erm if that's OK with you," he replied.

"Come on," she nudged the Org in the direction of her team, "let's show you how the good guys celebrate after a win."

Much later that day, the two Ranger teams had gathered in Duality, together with Jindrax and Toxica in their human disguises. Gathered around two tables, Mark and Cole stood up together with their drinks in hand, "We'd both like to propose a toast," Mark began, "to teamwork and to new friendships."

"Urgh, again with the cheese," Harley grumbled, "how about we drink to kickin' some Vyglass ass today."

"Now that I can get behind," Danny agreed,

The group clinked their various glasses and bottles together, murmuring their agreement with the sentiment. Lowering her glass, Alyssa looked down the table, "No Jazz tonight?" she asked.

"She was pretty wiped out," Ricky replied, "we found her asleep at her desk so we took her home for a rest."

"Well earned too," Mark added, "if she hadn't got the Jet Force Megazord online so quickly we would've been history."

"Yeah how did she do that?" Max asked, "I've never known anyone who could code that quickly."

"She's just that good," Rachel said with a shrug, Taylor though sat back and watched the conversation, quietly drinking her beer. Rachel took a big swig of her drink and stood up, "Well, wish me luck," she said to everyone.

"Good luck," Stevie frowned, "what are we wishing you luck for?"

"It's open mic night," the white ranger replied, "and I'm down as the first act," with that she left the table and pushed her way towards the stage.

"Did anyone know she was performing tonight?" Cole asked the Jet Force Rangers.

Ricky shook his head, "Not a clue, didn't even know she could sing," the other Jet Force Rangers nodded in agreement.

Rachel reached the small stage, getting a warm cheer from the gathered audience, "Hi," she said quietly into the mic, "my name's Rachel but you probably already knew that," she added, getting a warm chuckle from everyone. "I'm dedicating this song to someone in the audience, they know who they are."

Suddenly, all the Rangers gathered at the table glanced towards Harley, "I have a bad feeling about this," he mumbled. When the music started, his worse fears were confirmed, "Someone shoot me," he tried to hide his face behind his bottle.

Rachel grinned towards the Ranger table and began to sing, "Oh you're a real tough cookie with a long history, of breaking little hearts like the one in me." The white ranger wasn't perfectly in tune but no one seemed to mind the odd missed note, "That's okay let's see how you're doing, put up your dukes lets get down to it."

Stevie had her cell phone in hand, switching her focus between Rachel and an embarrassed Harley, "Never seen someone turn that shade of red before," she laughed.

"Hit me with your best shot," Rachel continued, "why don't you hit me with your best shot. Hit me with your best shot, fire away," the chorus concluded.

"I think I liked it better when they were fighting," Mark said dryly.

For the Wild Force Rangers, their feelings of second hand embarrassment were saved by a buzzing from their Growl Phones, "The Princess is outside," Cole said with a frown, "she wants to see us, including you two," he added towards Jindrax and Toxica.

"Picks her moments," Taylor sighed whilst standing up, "keep recording," she whispered to Stevie.

The Wild Force Rangers squeezed through the crowd, walked up the stairs and into the muggy evening air. There they found Princess Shayla waiting for them, "Sorry to drag you away," she began, "are you missing anything important?"

"Nothing that can't be recorded and used for future blackmail," Taylor shrugged, "we're surprised to see you down here Princess."

The Princess paused for a few moments before saying, "Merrick never showed up then."

"I'm afraid not," Cole began, "we can only assume he never got the message."

Princess Shayla nodded slowly, "I'm going to find him," she began, "I need to know if anything's happened to him."

"Is that the only reason you're going?" Danny asked, "it's clear you two are crazy about each other," this earned him an elbow from Max, "what, it's true."

"Said with the tact and subtly of a bison," Taylor sniggered.

The Princess smiled weakly, "It's true, we put our feelings aside long ago but," she paused, choosing her words carefully, "recent events have made me rethink our decision."

"Stopping the end of the world will do that," Taylor replied, "but what about the Animarium? Are you able to leave it for an extended period?"

"Truthfully I don't know," Princess Shayla shrugged, "but for Merrick, I'm willing to risk it." The Wild Force Rangers smiled in support of the Princess, "I do have one favourite to ask, the Wild Zords will need looking after, they might not be under threat at the moment but someone should be on guard just in case."

"We'll do whatever we can," Cole began hesitantly, "but we do have commitments on Earth, some of us have families to look after."

"I know," the Princess began, "which is why I wasn't going to ask you," she slowly turned to face Jindrax and Toxica.

For a moment, the Orgs were oblivious to the looks from the assembled Rangers until it slowly began to dawn on them what Princess Shayla was implying, "Us?" Toxica said, "You can't be serious."

"For once, I agree with Toxica," Taylor added.

"It will be a perfect place to rest and recover from your injuries," the Princess replied, "the Wild Zord accepted you in your recent visit."

"Tolerated maybe," Jindrax said slowly.

"Look," the Princess began, "you've both changed, the Toxica and Jindrax we knew would never have helped save the Earth."

"For their own self preservation maybe," Max scoffed.

"Whatever their reasons," Shayla interrupted, "they helped, sometimes that's all that matters." The Wild Force Rangers didn't look convinced but didn't protest further with the Princess's decision, "So, what do you say?"

The Orgs looked at each other, sharing a silent conversation, "I don't have to wear the white dress do I?" Toxica asked.

Princess Shayla chuckled, "No Toxica," she shook her head.

"Do I?" Jindrax pointed at himself nervously.

"Not unless you want to Jindrax," Shayla chuckled.

"That's an image I won't get out of my head," Taylor shuddered, "I guess if this is the Princess's wish, who are we to disagree." Gradually the other Wild Force Rangers agreed, "Looks like you're part of the team now, I always wanted a mascot," she added with a smirk, earning a roar of laughter from the Wild Force Rangers and a cry of protest from the Orgs. Eventually they joined in with the laughter, relaxed in the knowledge that Atropheous was finally defeated.

Up on the Vyglass ship, Count Trivium was standing amongst the wreckage of his lab when Prince Reise entered, "What a mess," the Prince chuckled, "not just the lab either." Trivium's fist clenched but he said nothing, "I've commenced Kane's self-repair program but it will take some time," he continued, "shame we can't repair Atropheous in the same way."

Trivium turned his head slightly but soon looked away, "Maybe it's time I took more control over our mission," the Prince said, "your track record isn't anything to write home about, the Empress is gone, so is Atropheous, Kane is in pieces and you're even losing control over your pet project." He turned away and walked slowly out the door, "You're done more to harm our cause than the Rangers," Reise added one final jibe before leaving. Once the door was closed, he heard glass breaking and metal snapping from the lab. With an evil smirk, Reise walked away down the dark corridor.

A/N – With the end of the Atropheous arc, we've reached (roughly) the half way point of the story. Everything is mapped out, just needs to be written now.

Had a Guest reviewer ask about my Project Hexagon series and when the next story is coming. Truthfully is probably isn't any time soon, I just don't have as much time as I used to get to write. It's taken 3 years to get this story to this point and as I said about, we're only half way. Also I'm not really happy with certain aspects of the existing stories, I have been tempted to revamp the original 5 stories, tidy up some plot points and things like that. Not a full rewrite but a remaster so to speak.

If anyone wants to know how the Hexagon series would've gone, feel free to PM me and I'll give you a quick summary.
