Soon after dealing with all the ghost Pokemon Eri began to make her way up Mt. Pyre

Luckily since she caught most of the ghost types things were easy to get through

And soon she was on the outside

It was extremely foggy outside and Eri could swear she saw a girl around her age walking around

Soon she reached the steps where she saw Archie at the top with some team aqua grunts blocking the path

No sign of Team Magma...Or Koko...

Eri began to make her way up the stairs and soon she reached the top

"Team Magma's Maxie got ahead of us, but we also got what we wanted. The Blue Orb preserved at Mt. Pyre…I, Archie, now have it in my possession!" Archie said "Fufufu…Now we can bring our ultimate objective to fruition! Okay, team! We're pulling out!"

Archie then noticed Eri

"Looks like you're too late, kid!" Archie said "Farewell!"

And with that Team Aqua left

"Oh no! This is terrible!" An old lady said "First those team magma fools take the red orb and now the team aqua fools take the blue orb! They have no idea what destructive force they have."

"Please you must find someone who can help!" The old man said

Eri nodded before leaving

she decided to use cloudy to fly down deciding to not get swarmed by more ghost types

And then Eri and Latias began to make their way to the next city

While walking to Lilycove Eri heard a familiar voice

"Sister!"

she looked up and saw Koko flying on his Altaria

He jumped down and returned his Altaria

"I see you've gotten a keystone!" Koko said, "Good you're going to need it!"

He then noticed Latias

"Who is this?" Koko asked

Eri then gave a thumbs up and Latias turned back into her original form

Koko then laughed

"I should have known my little sister would be great enough to earn the respect of a legendary Pokémon!" Koko said

For some reason, Latias felt...Jealous

"Now that you have access to mega evolution I think it's time I gave you this." Koko said before handing Eri a mega stone "It's alatariaite."

Eri nodded and put it in her bag

"now then team magma has gotten the red orb." Koko said, "They had a bunch of grunts hold me off while they grabbed it."

Eri nodded in understanding

"Luckily I know where their base is." Koko said "It's near the bottom of Mount Chimney. If we fly there now we can stop them from awakening Groudon."

Eri nodded and sent out cloudy and while she was at it gave her the mega stone

"Now then let's get to work!" Koko said

Then they flew to Mt. Chimney

Once they reached Mt. Chimney's base they began to look for a way

Which was quickly found when Koko broke the rocks hiding the entrance

"Heh. Too easy." Koko said

"Wow..." Eri said

"Now then. Let's go in!" Koko said

Latias stayed behind

They entered the lair and it was extremely hot

"Now sister!" Koko said, "Let's rush through!"

Eri nodded and Koko put her on his back

They began to run through the lait dodging all of the grunts before eventually reaching Maxie and a purple-haired woman

With the asleep groundon in a pool of lava

"You again." Maxie said "Fine then I'll just have to crush you here! Courtney! Lend me your aid."

"Yes." Courtney said before facing the two "Allow me to analyze you."

She sent out a camerupt while Maxie sent out a crobat

"Sister! Let's show them..." Koko began as he ripped off his shirt

He sent out his Blastoise while Eri sent out spooky

"...Why we're the strongest!"

Both Koko and Eri activated their keystones and mega-evolved their Pokémon

"Use hydro pump!" Koko said

"Use psychic!" Eri said

Both attacks connected knocking both opposing Pokemon out

"Well then now it's our turn." Maxie said, "Go camerupt!"

"Houndoom prepare for battle." Courtney said as she sent out her houndoom

Both of them activated their keystones

"Camerupt use earth power on Gengar!" Maxie said

"Houndoom use crunch on Gengar." Courtney said

both attacks knocked out Spooky

Eri sent out skippy

"It's two megas to one." Maxie said, "It's over."

Eri wondered if she could do it...

Eri activated her quirk and sent the energy to skippy

A familiar shell began to surround skippy

"T-That's impossible!" Maxie said

"Illogical!!" Courtney said genuinely shocked

"YES SISTER SHOW THEM YOUR TRUE STRENGTH!" Koko said

Skippy mega evolve into mega swampert

"Use surf!" Eri said

A tidal wave of water knocked out the two Megas

Blastoise enjoyed the water

"Tch this isn't over." Maxie said Groudon…Nothing could awaken you from your sleep bathed in magma…This Red Orb is what you sought. Wasn't it? I have brought you the Red Orb. Let its shine awaken you! And show me…Show me the full extent of your power!"

the red orb shined

The stone incasing groudon began to break

Groudon let out a roar of fury upon being awoken

Groudon jumped out and fled

"Groudon! What's wrong? Wasn't the red Orb the key? Groudon!" Maxie yelled,

"it seems Groudon doesn't like you." Koko said

"There has to be some reason why Groudon fled…That's what you're trying to say, aren't you?" Maxie said

"Simple you still need to catch Groudon." Koko said "With it gone you can't."

"… Humph…You think I didn't know that? With Groudon gone, there is no longer any need for this blasted volcano. I am going after Groudon, so this is where we part!" Maxie said before fleeing

"Heh." Koko said, "Now then what's next?"

"Team aqua has the blue orb!" Eri said

"Heh. They can't get to kyorge without...A submarine..." Koko said before realizing something

"Eri! I'll teleport you to the entrance with my alakazam! fly to Slateport and stop team Aqua from stealing the submarine at the docks!" Koko said

Eri nodded and Koko sent out his alakazam which teleported Eri to the entrance
