Dr Who : "To Forgive..."

Summary: The Doctor encounters his worst enemy, again in new form, even potentially more menacing.

I may have some more fun with this.

Prologue...

London, a quiet street...2025. The Fifteenth Doctor standing by a car with tinted windows. A yellow Honda by appearance.

"You got my message..." smile from the just slightly open driver side window.

"I did." Fifteen, a bit cautious. The Tardis parked behind him.

That voice...I know I've heard it before.

"Sorry to use a Gallifrean code but you've learned the Time Lords aren't gone, after all." Deep woman's voice from the car, with just a bit of sparkle. "I hope it didn't disturb you."

"Are you saying...? You know, I do prefer to see whom I'm speaking too..."

"Oh, sorry...I don't mean to be rude. Just...One...Bother these seat belts...Ok..." a figure emerged from the opposite side, startling him as she got out and stood up.

A name breathed across his lips...One he'd thought he'd never use again...

"Well, what'd you think?" smile. "A little better than the usual outfit, maybe?" she spun around in her costume. A combination of about the 1890's, Earth, style and the 5420's, of Keliper V, style given the slight shimmering of her gown, he judged.

"It can't be..." Fifteen eyed the woman before him, firmly if slowly shaking head.

"Can't it, Doctor?" she smiled.

"You're dead. Worse than dead." He sighed.

"A Cyberman...The Cyberman who waited for you?" Bill eyed him, warm smile.

"Is this another duplicate of you?" Fifteen frowned. "I thought the Testimonial people were benevolent, this borders on..."

"No. Well, not in the sense you mean. But, please, I do want to be honest with you." Nervous, winsome smile.

"So, it's not you." He stated, flatly, sensing...

"No. Oh, no. Not this. Not this!" he grimly turned from her.

"It was not intentional." Her voice pleading. "It was not, I swear, Doctor. You know how these things happen. You better than most."

"To do this, after what you did to her. What we both allowed be done to her." He nearly spat out the words. "No, Missy. This. This is intolerable." He went to the Tardis' door.

"Oh, please. Please." She pleaded. "Don't go. Don't leave me like this."

He paused by the door. "I could even understand you're lying to me about destroying Gallifrey and my past, creating that illusion of a past. But to take her form..."

"Doctor." Sigh. "Hard as it is for you to accept, it was partly true, not all of course. I was angry, mad certainly, then. But even before Missy I never...And I never intended."

She sighed as he entered the Tardis.

"Doctor. Please...Please, for Bill's sake. For your old friend's sake." Her voice calling to him as the door closed.

"No." he stood in the main control room, pressing a succession of buttons. "I've tried, tried many times, Kolshei...No more."

A hologram of The Mistress Bill appeared in the control room. "I'm not trying to enter." She noted.

"You can't, I've blocked your Tardis." He noted coldly. "Just go. You've had your fun again. Now go."

"When Bill died...And I take my share of the blame, I do." She pleaded. "You thought you'd failed her...And me."

"I did what I could for you, Missy." He sighed. "You failed yourself."

"I didn't. Oh, please listen to me for once, just for a moment." Hard stare. "I was going to join you, Doctor. I was free of myself...Free of the drums...Free of Him. But, He, couldn't bear to have me...Us...Join you. Show you how much we loved you. He killed me."

"And you became O, and it was all for nothing..." he eyed her.

"No, I didn't. He'd blocked my regeneration, you can guess how." Faint smile. "But Bill and her friend took pity on me...They knew I had wanted, sincerely, to help you. O was a regeneration of Saxon, who became me in his regeneration after you left him. But they gave me enough connection to what was left of Bill's dying body to restore me...A possession, not a true regeneration, but it was enough."

He eyed the hologram who put up a hand. "I will go now. I just had to let you know, after I fully recovered, which as you can guess...Took a while. But I won't abuse the gift, my friend. I will try to be worthy of it. Try to be Kolshei, your friend, again. I only needed for you to know."

"Bill allowed this." He eyed her.

"I don't have proof right now but...One day...Given her friend's powers." Shrug.

"Fine, then. One day, if she confirms it." He nodded.

"Thank you." Smile. "Never River, I swear. If it ever happened I'll regenerate immediately."

"River would kill you first anyway." He noted. "I would guess she has."

"Well, wasn't me. Precisely." Coy look. "Sorry." Apologetic tone at his frown.

"I will do my best." She eyed him. "Honest." Smile. "Cross my hearts and never regenerate." She traced pattern on her Victorian-era jacket over her chest.

"I'll hope it's so." He nodded. "Anyway, thank goodness you have your own dress style."

"Do you like it?" she beamed. "And..." slight twinkle... "May I take it as you saying something nice?"

"You behave, then yes." Nod.

"One day, then. I do like the new you by the way. Though I miss the eyebrows." She grinned. "Wish me luck, Doctor?"

"If...You behave. Yes." Nod. Pause. Eyeing screens...Hmmn.

"So. you were also... Speaking to...?" eyeing her.

"Twp birds, one stone." She nodded, beaming fondly. "Bigeneration...Only you could really pull it off properly. Oh, he says not to trust me but he'll hope too. Oh...And Donna and Rose send their love. And the same thing as you...Regards me." smile. "If I behave..."

"Right." He nodded. "Thanks."

"I know 'Bill' wouldn't do but perhaps Bissy or something like?" hopeful look. "Well, just an idea. I'll come up with something." Sheepish look.

"Kolshei wouldn't be awful." He noted, quietly. She beaming.

"I'll consider it. See you? If...Of course..." she made hand gesture, nodding.

"I'll hope too. Good luck, if you mean it." He nodded.

"Well...I have now something to shoot for." Beam, the hologram vanishing...

Followed, outside, a few moments later by the yellow Honda pulling out of its spot, then vanishing. Fifteen watching on screen in the Tardis, catching a glimpse of the license plate, "BLISSY" as the Honda/Tardis vanished.

...

Blissy in her Tardis/Honda, radio blaring...She singing.

"Bloop de doop, da bloop de doop...Oh..."

"Oh, Blissy, you are so fine, and this time you blew your mind...Hey, Blissy.

Hey, Blissy...!

Oh, Blissy, you're so pretty, and at last he understands...

That you really meant to help him and be his other hands." (Wriggles hands...Oooh, nice ones, she beams.)

"Oh, Blissy , no more pity, at last you understand
You're messing' with the Doctor, you can't let down your friend
Poor Missy, you were so crazy, took you long to see
It's Time Ladies like you, Missy
And what you do Missy, do Blissy
Don't break his hearts Blissy!

Hey Blissy...
Cause when you sent your message
He really should have known
We once were the Master
But you really didn't blow our home
Bill as Mary Poppins and this time... not... alone.
Once you kissed the Doctor whose
Face you've never seen
You gave that man an army
Just to see what it would bring
As birthday presents go
I'd say that one's a no, Blissy!

Oh Missy, what a pity, you then couldn't see
He doesn't want an army, he just wanted you to grieve
Poor Missy, you were so crazy, it took you long to see
It's Time Ladies like you, Missy
And what you do Missy, do Blissy
No breakin' his hearts Blissy!
Hey Blissy...!
Oh Blissy, you're so fine
It's so fine you fixed your mind
Hey Blissy, Hey Blissy
Oh Blissy, no more pity, his work was not in vain
This time you changed your face and your mind is somewhat sane.
Oh Missy, you were so crazy, it took you long to see
It's Time Ladies like you, Missy
And what you do Missy, do Blissy
Don't break his hearts Blissy!
Oh Blissy, we're so pretty, and he understands
But we're messing with the Doctor, so don't let down your friend
Poor Missy, you were so crazy, took you long to see
It's Time Ladies like you, Missy
And what you do Missy, do Blissy
We won't break his hearts, Blissy!
