Chapter 2: Welcome to the Owl House
The way to the Owl House was short, but Luz couldn't help but to fan girl. Thankfully Izuku who knew the feeling well (and often fanboyed over heroes) offered to talk to her.
Well Mineta offered to talk to her first but… well…
"You don't want to talk to him…" said Tsuyu.
"Is he a pervert? Asked Luz.
He is…' said Tsuyu, "How did you know?"
"I watch a lot of anime…" said Luz.
Tsuyu nodded.
"Oh come on!" whined Mineta.
"And You guys were so awesome!" said Luz, "I mean your race in the first part was so amazing!"
Izuku blushed at her gushing.
"Oh! That's where I know you!" said King, "you're those guys from those videos Luz showed me!'
That was when they noticed King.
"what…" said Sero.
"Oh he's cute!" gushed Hagakure.
"Can I pet him!" said Mina.
"I am the King of Demons! Do you know what kind of power I hold!" yelled King, "Also you may pet me!"
Hagakure picked him up and she and Mina began to pet him.
That was when they got to the Owl House.
"New friends!" yelled Hooty who was an owl tube thing as he went over to them.
"What the fuck is that thing!" yelled Bakugo.
"The house's guard…" said Eda, "And it's okay to hate him… everybody does…"
Hooty opened the door.
'All right!" said Eda, "I'm sure you can figure out I'm Eda the Owl Lady as you heard!"
She mentioned over to her wanted poster.
"As you can tell I'm the most wanted person on the Boiling Isles." Said Eda, "But that's because I crossed the Emperor! That's why I'm wanted…"
"Edalyn… that's not the only reason why you're wanted…' said Lilith.
"She has committed so many crimes…' said Luz.
"Name 1…" said Eda.
"well there's the stealing…" said Luz.
"Stop… okay… Okay… I get it…" muttered Eda, "Anyways… the point is you got no other option for places to stay without dragging in some people who probably don't want to be dragged in…"
"Yeah… probably not a good idea to drag in Gus or Willow's parents…" said Luz.
"Okay! Let's lay down ground rules! You all have to figure out how to make me some money!" said Eda, "unless one of you can make stuff out of nothing… you have to figure it out."
"Um…" said Momo blushing, "I can make any object as long as I know the molecular composition… but it requires a large of lipids…"
She related a nesting doll to show what she can do.
Eda grabbed it and looked at it.
"What are lipids?" asked Eda.
"Well there are different types…" said Yaoyorozu.
"How do you get more of them?' asked Eda.
"Oh eating…" said Yaoyorozu.
"Okay! I'll make sure you get plenty of food." Said Eda, "Just make as much random junk you think will sell! It doesn't have to valuable as long as it looks interesting it will sell."
Yaoyorozu nodded.
"Which means the rest of you have to do chores around here." Said Eda.
"Well it is to be expected as we are guests here…" said Iida, "And because of that I give you all permission to use my given name…"
"Why?" asked Kaminari.
"Eda and Iida do sound the same;…" Izuku realizing something.
"Okay… what…" Eda confused.
"You see my name is Tenya idea and it is customary to go by our family names…" explained Iida… well Tenya.
"Whatever…" muttered Eda, "Also don't mess with mine of Lilith's elixirs… you won't like the results and we haven't even what happens to Lilith yet! And whoever does it has to be the one face the consequences and it will be your job to fix them…"
"what does that mean?" asked Jiro.
"It means that listen to that rule and don't get hurt." Said Eda.
She then yawned.
"Anyways I'm going to bed…' said Eda, "None of your better disturb me in my nest either! Got it!"
"nest?' asked Sero.
"Don't ask…" said Luz.
"hey Illth…' said King.
Lilith just glared at king before he could answer the question.
She then left too.
"Wait..,. where are we going to sleep?" asked Iida .
"Why are you acting like we're going to bed soon?" asked Kaminari.
"Because we're bogusly in a world where it's night." Muttered Bakugo rolling his eyes.
"Well the girls can sleep with me…" said Luz, "There's plenty of unused rooms, I know we can find some…"
"But I should provide everyone with pajamas first…" said Yaoyorozu, "nothing with copy righted characters or Pro Heroes however…"
Everyone gave her their sizes and what they wanted… as well as some bedding and a special light for Tokoyami as he needed something like that in order to sleep.
And so Luz figured out which room was the best one to stay in…
The room seemed normal.
But there was a creepy vibe coming from the room.
"Don't worry it's just the night critters." Said Luz.
"Night critters?" asked Kaminari.
"don't worry…" said Luz, "they don't kill or hurt you… but they probably won't let sleep.'
"WHAT THE FUCK!" yelled Katsuki.
"Hey can you please not swear?" asked luz, "Also you need to get desensitized to the Boiling Isles fast… trust me on it… Night!"
They all looked at the room.
"I bet class B is having the time of their lives…" said Sero.
Meanwhile on the properly belonging to the Wild Wild Pussy Cats.
"Do you mean the camp is canceled!" yelled all of Class 1-B.
"something happened to Class 1-A, and be use of that we had to cancel the camp… sorry…" said another member of the Wild Wild Pussy cats, a woman with long green hair named Ragdoll.
"So they got attacked by another villain.' Said a blonde boy named Neito Monoma.
"No... no… no… it's not that all." Said the final member of the Wild Wild Pussy Cats, a large muscular man who went by Tiger, 'They got sent to a magical fantasy world and are trapped there."
The entire class stared at the two heroes horribly confused.
"What!" they yelled.
And the fact that the heroes had a straight face should tell them that they were telling the truth.
They were given more explanations on what was going on…
In Luz's room all of the girls were getting ready for bed.
"Oh do we really have to sleep now?" asked Mina.
"Our bodies need to adjust to the new time zone." Said Jiro, "remember."
"Also I have school in the morning." Said Luz.
"Wait… you have school… and your trapped in another world." Said Mina.
"Magic school…" said luz.
"Okay… that's a good point." Said mina.
"Though… there is something I need you to do before we go to sleep." Said Liz.
"What?" asked Tsuyu.
"I need to know your names… I only know Yaoyorozu, Ashido and Uraraka because they made the tournament…" said Luz.
The three girls who didn't made the tournament of the sports Festival sighed.
The next morning Eda woke up to find just about everyone up including most of the Class 1-A students, with Sato even making pancakes.
"Are you seriously cooking? Who knows if your food is any good." Muttered Eda.
"here." Said Sato.
She took a bite of the pancake.
"Okay… you're on cooking duty…' said Eda.
"I kind of figured that…" sighed Sato.
He was a very good cook. Partially due to his quirk was one that gave him super strength.
That was when Eda noticed that Yaoyorozu was well…
"Are you drinking cooking oil?" asked Eda.
"It's one of the easiest way to replace my lipids." She explained.
"I see…" said Eda.
"Oh hey someone made pancakes!" said Luz wearing her school uniform, which consisted of a tunic, a cowl and leggings and sleeves benign different colors.
"Yeah…" said Sato.
"Thanks… uh… sorry I only know the names of those who made the tournament none of you boys have yet to introduce yourselves…" said Luz.
Those that didn't make the tournament all sighed.
"What are you wearing?" asked Kaminari
"Oh I got to nearby school." Said Luz, "This is my uniform."
"You've been stuck in a magical fantasy world… and you got to school"?" asked Kaminari.
"I've only been trapped for a week… I've been attending for much longer…' said Luz.
"You know I've been wondering… how did Luz even get enrolled/" asked Lilith.
"Don't make me explain…" sighed Eda, "I really don't want to talk about it…"
"Well I can't say I'm surprised… considering the rumors about Bump being anti-Emperor." Said Lilith.
Eda ended spitting her drink.
"Bump is anti-Emperor? Since when?" asked Eda.
"Tt's just a rumor, but considering that he's been long before he took over, it would make sense that he would be against the rule." Said Lilith.
"Huh… never thought of it…" said Eda.
"But the way… I didn't know demons lived on earth." Said King.
"Excuse me?" asked Shoji.
"I mean it's clear you're not human…" said King.
"King he's human… it's just your idea on what humans look like are outdated… from before the rise or Quirks…" said Luz.
"Oh yeah… that non-magic light thing you can do…" said King.
"Oh you have a light quirk?" asked Izuku.
"Yeah but it's really weak… like really, really weak…" said Luz, "But yeah… quirks make it so that humans sometimes don't look human anymore… I even knew a girl in my old school that had a quirk that just gave her pointy ears…"
"I think I saw an upperclassman with pointy ears too." Said Hagakure, "But I don't think that was his quirk."
That was when Kirishima finally entered the room… his usual spikey hair having fallen flat .
"Whoa what happened to you hair?" asked Luz.
"I don't have any hair gel…" he said somewhat embarrassed.
"So your shitty hair isn't natural?' mocked Bakugo.
"Would you like some?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"If it's not too much trouble…" said Kirishima.
Yaoyorozu created a bottle of hair gel.
That was there was a beep from Kirishima's phone.
"Oh man the camp was canceled for class 1-B." Said Kirishima.
"Oh no…" said Izuku.
"Wait… who texted you?" asked mina.
"Tetsutetsu." Said Kirishima.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, who was a member of Class 1-B… and yes that was his name…
"Who fucking cares! We are latterly trapped in another world right now…" muttered Bakugo, "Who knows when we'll be able to go home… and they don't get to the go to camp."
"Yeah… Bakugo does kind of have a point" said Jiro.
Yaoyorozu also got a text shortly after, also from another member of Class 1-B.
"Wait camp?" asked Luz.
"Oh were you sent to a place to conform like Luz was going to be sent to?" asked king.
"What?" asked Izuku.
"I'm sure you were going to go to some sort of Hero Camp.' Said Luz.
"Yeah… it was being hosted by a the Hero team the Wild Wild Pussy Cats…" said Izuku.
"Oh yeah… that's their team name… I was forgetting what it was called." Said Eda.
"What?" asked Lilith.
"That group that own the land with the magic circle." Said Eda.
"I see…" said Lilith.
"By the way… you might want to converse your phones batter life…" said Luz, "Mine died after sending my mom a goodbye message…"
"Oh… yeah we forgot to explain." Said Kaminari.
"Forgot what?" asked Luz.
"Hey" said Kaminari, "Do you have you phone and plug on you?"
"I have to grab them but sure…" said Luz.
She went back up to her room and brought them back down.
He then stuck the plug into his mouth.
"Uh what are you doing?" asked Luz.
However her question was soon answered… as her phone started to charge.
"Oh yeah! You have an electric quirk!" said Luz.
She then hugged Kaminari .
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" said Luz, "I can finally contact my mom… once I finally work up the courage…"
She then she stopped hugging him.
"Oh sorry for hugging you without permission." Said Luz.
"Hey it's cool." He said in a flirty way with a wink.
"Can you not do that… it's too early…" muttered Jiro.
"I also plan to make some eminency chargers that run on both solar power and hand crank so we won't have completely relay on him…" said Yaoyorozu.
"Oh man! I so grateful!" said Luz.
"Oh Luz!" called out Hooty, "Time for school!"
Luz sighed… not because she didn't want to go to school… but because it was Hooty reminding her.
"All right! I'll see everyone later!" said Luz.
She left for school.
"I'll divvy up the rest of your jobs later besides favorite girl and cooking boy." Said Eda.
"We have names." Said Sato.
"Yeah don't care." Said Eda.
"Eda… there's something we need to talk about…" said Lilith.
"ugh… Fine…" muttered Eda.
The two sisters left the kitchen.
"So who wants to learn about demons." Said King.
Class 1-A looked at each other not sure what to say.
In another room Eda and Lilith were talking.
"We have 20 more humans in the house…" sighed Lilith.
"I know…" muttered Eda.
"No… what I mean is that the demurrer might be going after them…" said Lilith.
"Wait? Are you sure?" asked Eda.
"I can't be sure… I have no idea what his plan is after all…" sighed Lilith, "All I know is that he wanted it for something called "The day of unity"… he never told me what it was…" sighed Lilith.
"And you think he'll use them in whatever his plans are…" said Eda.
"I don't know… but I don't think it's a good idea to have them all in the same spot for too long…" said Lilith.
"So what you want to send them away somewhere?" asked Eda.
"Just for the day…" said Lilith.
"What do you have in mind?" asked Eda.
"I don't know if he'll agree to it… but it might work…" said Lilith.
"What send them to Hexside?" asked Eda.
"Adactyly… yes…" said Lilith.
"Eh… probably a good idea to get half of them out of here… one human teenager around all day is fine… but 20 of them,…" said Eda.
"Yeah…" sighed Lilith.
Meanwhile with Luz she made it to school. Two of her friends were wanting for her. One was a girl with short dark teal hair wearing glasses and wore a green version of the uniform that Luz was wearing a green version of the uniform and the other was younger boy with darker skin wearing a sky blue version of the uniform.
"Gus! Willow!" called out Luz.
"Luz!" cheered the boy who was named Gus.
"you're in a good mood." Said the girl named Willow.
"Did something happen that helped Eda?" asked Gus.
"No… it's kind of a long story I'll tell you during lunch! But I'm finally able to get my phone charged…!" said Luz.
"Hey!" called out another voice.
They turned around and they saw a girl with mostly green hair, except at the roots which were brown (she dyed her hair) she also wore an orchid version of the uniform.
"Amity!" cheered Luz hugging the girl, "You finally back on your feet!"
Amity started blushing at the hug.
"Oh yeah… I got the cast off yesterday…" said Amity, "Did something happen to Eda?"
"No… it's still the same, but something crazy happened last night! And I have to tell you!" said Luz, "But at lunch so no one will hear…"
Sometime later during lunch Luz explained it.
"Wait! More humans are here?" asked Gus.
Gus was a human fanboy so it made sense he was excited, "Can you introduce us! I'm sure they have so many questions…"
"There's more to it… isn't there?" asked Amity.
"Yeah… they're really famous and known though the world! They go to one of the best hero schools in the world!" said Luz, "And they get taught by the world's greatest hero All Might!"
"Wait… All Might… oh yeah isn't that the name of that smiling man?" asked Gus.
"Yep!" said Luz, "I never thought I would ever meet any of them! But now I have… and their stranded here on the Boiling Isles too…"
"How did they even get here?" asked Willow.
"Some weird old magic circle… they were training in the woods…" said Luz not wanting to have the same mix up about camp that King had.
"Did you warn them about their human communication devices not working?" asked Amity.
"Oh I didn't have to!" said Luz, "One of them can charge a phone by stocking a plug into his mouth! And one of them is going to make emergency phone chargers!"
"Are you going to call your mom soon?" asked Amenity .
"I have no idea…" sighed Luz.
They all knew that Luz's greatest fear was telling her mom about her adventures in the Boiling Isles… they knew this because she once had to fight a shape shifter who turned into people's great fears.
That was when they noticed Lilith wearing a cloak.
"It's you…" muttered Amity.
"Is everything okay?" asked Luz.
"It's fine…" said Lilith, "I was just want to talk to Principal Bump about something."
"What?" asked Amity suspiciously.
"Just about possible enrollment of students…" said Lilith.
"Wait you think Class 1-A of UA to attend Hexside with me!" squeed Luz.
"Well not all of them…" said Lilith, "But yes…"
"I hope it works… and I know you don't have to jump through as many hoops as Eda did to get me here." Said Luz.
"What did she do?" asked Lilith.
"Maybe you should ask Bump… because I can't list them all." Said Luz.
"I see…" said Lilith.
She went to meet with the Principal named Bump who wore scholarly ropes and weird demon hat.
"You think Belos might be after them…" said Principal Bump, "Have they been learning."
"They just got here last night, but with Luz's magic I'm sure she can teach them very quickly." Said Lilith .
"Of course… now Lilith… I need you to know something about me…" said Lilith.
"You've been secretly against him the entire time…" said Lilith.
"What… how did you know?" asked Principal Bump.
"It's kind of an open secret moong the emperor's coven. No goes after you because a lot of them fear the type of Blackmail you have…" said Lilith.
"Not you though." laughed Principal Bump.
"I'm Eda's sister…" pointed out Lilith.
"True…" said Principal Bump, "By the way I bet you're wondering how she got her human into school…"
Lilith nodded.
"She had to clean up all of her leftover messes." Said Principial Bump.
Lilith was surprised … because there were a lot leftover messes from their time as students.
"She really wanted to get Luz into the school." Sighed Lilith.
"Anyway… I do have one condition for this…" said Principal Bump.
He told her the condition, which she didn't mind and actually made sense.
And so she headed back to the Owl House.
At said location King decided to tell the class all about the various demons that existed but everyone was ignoring him as he tried to teach them…
Well until he told them this.
"You see giraffes were once in this world until we banished them!" said King.
"Wait… giraffes…" said Jiro.
"Yes!" said King.
"YOU MEAN THEY WEREN'T CRAZY!" yelled Koda in shock.
Everyone in the room turned toward Koda.
"What?" asked Kaminari.
Koda blushed and gathered all of his courage to explain himself.
"Well you see… whenever I talk to giraffes at the zoo they would always talk about how their ancestors were banished from the demon realm… I always thought they were crazy but I guess they weren't…" he explained rather quietly.
"Who would have thought such creatures had such a dark story…" said Tokoyami.
"Welp… I'm never going to see giraffes the same way again…" said Kirishima.
"Yeah…" said Mina.
That was when the door opened and Lilith was pushed into the house rather forcibly.
"I live here now…" muttered Lilith.
"Yeah! I don't care! Hoot! Hoot!" said Hooty.
"What did he say?" asked Eda entering the living room.
"He agreed to it…" said Lilith.
The 20 students were confused by what was going on.
Thankfully Eda was able to explain it.
"All right! Starting I don't' know when half of you are going to school." Said Eda .
"Wait! What!" yelled most of the students.
"I don't want to have 20 human teenagers around all day… for all I know one of you might blow up the house or worse." Said Eda.
Several members of the class looked at Bakugo .
"What the fuck does that mean!" yelled Bakugo.
"You know what it means…' mocked Kaminari.
"No fighting right now! We are guests in this house!" yelled Tenya.
Eda just face palmed.
Once things calmed down the two witches knew they had to explain about the Coven System.
There were 10 Covens, Abomination, Plant, Illusion, Potions, Healing, Beast Keeping, Construction, Oracle, Bard and the Emperor's.
There also smaller ones that were under the 9 besides the Emperor's.
However one of the biggest rules was that when someone joins a coven they get a mark that prevents them from suing only magic that fits into one of those categories.
However Class 1-A noticed something rather suspicious.
"Wait… so if you join a coven there's a mark that prevent you from using magic that's not part of the coven magic?" asked Izuku.
"It sounds like he's trying to make sure that no one can learn powerful magic unless their directly under him." Said Tsuyu.
"Sounds like he's just trying to keep himself in power." Muttered Bakugo.
The two sisters blinked in surprise.
"Hah! I didn't even think of that!" laughed Eda once she recovered.
"Excuse me for a moment… I have to go something in the other room." Said Lilith.
She left the room and they heard a repeatedly banging sound.
"Here's a lesson for you kids… hindsight is a bitch… remember that." Said Eda.
Lilith returned with a large welt on her forehead .
"Are you okay!" cried Izuku.
"I'm just ignore it." Said Lilith.
"But Is there a reason why you're telling us?" asked Todoroki.
"Expect for the Emperors Coven each form of magic has a tract." Said Lilith, "So if you go you have to choose one…"
"Well unless you let you choose more than one…" said Eda, "Luz does all of them and I heard of a few other students doing two of them."
"Who gets to go?" asked Mina.
"Well he said that the top five of you that did best Academically are invited." Said Lilith.
"Oh come on!" yelled both Mina and Kaminari.
"Well I can tell who the class idiots are." Said Eda.
"You don't'
Have to go..." said Lilith, "But you do get first choice if you would like to."
"It sounds like a wonderful idea while we are here…" said Yaoyorozu who was the top student.
"I agree… also going to the school we might be able to Luz find a way back to Earth." Said Tenya who was the second highest student.
"Whatever… it's better than doing chores all day." Muttered Bakugo who was third.
"Actually learning Magical does sound very interesting." Said Izuku who was 4th.
Todoroki who was 5th just nodded.
"What about the rest of us." Said Mina.
"Hey! Can you make a hat?" asked Eda to Yaoyorozu.
"Of course…" said Yaoyorozu.
She made a hat and they wrote down the names of everyone who wanted to learn magic./
Shoji and Ojiro were actually uninterested and Sato wasn't sure if anyone else in class knew how to cook…
That left most of the class wanting to learn magic.
And so Tenya was the one to read the names.
"Uraraka!" he read first. Showing the name.
"All right!" cheered Ochaco high fiving Izuku.
"Kirishima!" read Tenya.
"All right!" said Kirishima .
"Jiro." Read Tenya.
"Wait you want to learn magic?" asked Mina .
"Just one type…" said Jiro.
"Tokoyami." Read Tenya.
Tokoyami smirked.
"So I'm one of the ones to learn the mystic arts." Said Tokoyami.
"And finally… Koda!" said Tenya.
Koda was really happy.
"You're not trying to learn about Giraffes, are you?" asked Kaminari.
Koda shook his head no.
"All right first off you won't be learning magic normally… because witches can't learn magic…" said Eda.
"Is there a special magical body part that humans don't have?" asked Tsuyu.
"Yes…" said Eda, she reached into her hair and pulled out a diagram of a witch's heart, "all witches have a magical bile sack attached to their hearts…"
"How are we even going to learn magic then?" asked Izuku.
"Luz found a way to use magic without a bile sack!" said King.
"It's quite impressive." Admitted Lilith.
"And for the 10 of you going she has to teach you some of those spells!" said Eda.
That was when the door opened. Luz was there along with her friends.
"New humans!" squid Gus.
"Oh and she brought her friends." Said Eda.
"Tell me about stuff that Luz doesn't know!" yelled Gus.
"Sorry… this is my friend Gus!" dazed Luz, "Oh is Preanal Bump letting them go to Hexside?"
"He is… and you have to teach them some spells to make sure they don't go to the baby class." Said Eda.
The 10 who were going to school were surprised at this.
"Wait… what?" asked Ochaco.
"I get to teach UA High students magic?" asked Luz., "I never thought that anything this awesome would ever happen to me! Mostly because I never thought any of this would happen! But still!"
She was practically vibrating.
"Do we have to…" muttered Bakugo.
"You have three choices, do it, don't and go to the baby class or don't go to Hexside and get Hooty Duty…" said Eda.
"What the fuck is Hooty Duty?" asked Bakugo .
"You might want to look outside." Said Amity.
Bakugo rolled his eyes and looked outside and saw that the bird tube thing was rolling around the in the mud.
"I know Luz can be a bit instance… but I'm pretty sure learning from her is better than that…" said Willow.
And with that a new plan was set for Class 1-A for the Boiling Isles… not knowing the entire truth of why some of them would be learning magic… but still many of them would be able to learn… hopefully.
Next Time: Luz teaches the 10 the magic she knows so they can avoid the baby class in Hexside. Also she talks to Izuku and the two end up becoming friends. What else will happen? Find out next time!
A/N: I you're wondering why I chose the characters to go to Hexside (besides the plot reasons of the top five students), Ochaco... well… let's just say certain reasons which will become apparent later… Kirishima, someone has to corral Bakugo... he's not going to be in a good place in the first part of the story, Tokoyami... I think all agree he should be one of the characters to attend and for Koda and Jiro... well let's just say they're perfect to learn certain magics... So yeah...
