A/N: All right! What's going to adapt and what I won't adapt from the latest episode... here's the thing... that is going to be the first one where I won't pick and choose, while there will be some things that will be changed and added, it's going to be adapted... Enjoy the chapter!
Chapter 9: Parents Suck!
Principal Bump face palmed. HE should have known dealing with him for a while… he also should have known that she would be one of those moms… But still he just sat there, pinching the bridge of his nose as he listened to her on her son's device.
"I know he deserves to be in detention but you can't fucking keep him there forever!" yelled Bakugo's mom from the phone.
"No I do intend to transfer him out today after this call." Sighed Principial Bump.
He looked at his students who looked like he didn't want to be there.
"you better fucking do!" yelled his mother.
"I will, I promise… and I'm sure your son will tell you all about the tracts I have chosen for him." Said Principial Bump in a tone of voice that said he trying his best to diplomatic.
Bakugo glared harshly at the principal.
"Yeah right! Like the brat will tell me anything." Laughed Bakugo's mother.
Principal Bump just sighed.
"Listen brat, don't do anything like this again! I'm not going to come to defend you again!" scolded Bakugo's mom.
And then the line went dead.
"She hung up…" muttered Bakugo.
"I see." Said Principal Bump giving him his phone, "Talking to your mom, it does explain everything."
Bakugo just rolled his eyes.
"All right you are not allowed to join all classes." Said Principial Bump, "In fact the potions teacher refuses to let you back into class."
"Figures…' muttered Bakugo.
"Now I have decided that there will be two students to watch over you in all of your classes." Said Principal Bump, "One from your human school and one of Hexside's star students."
Bakugo scowled.
"It's not Deku is it?" asked Katsuki.
"No he was barred from behind the one who would accompany you." Said Principal Bump having picked up on the nickname. "I asked your classmates and it was unanimous."
"It's Shitty Hair isn't it?" asked Bakugo.
"If that's your name for Kirishima then yes." Said principal Bump.
That was when the two students entered the room, one was the aforementioned Kirishima and the other was Amity.
"Figures it's Choco mint." Muttered Bakugo.
Amity glared back at him.
"You will be in either one of their classes from this point on." Said principal Bump who changed the colors of Bakugo's uniform, it now had brown sleeves and orchid leggings, "Remember you're on thin ice Katsuki, if you end up in the detention tract again, you won't be getting out again."
Bakugo grumbled.
And so the three students walked down the hall together, with Kirishima walking the middle of Amity and Bakugo.
"Is there a reason why you're doing this Choco Mint." Said Bakugo.
"I need the extra credit." Muttered Amity.
"You're one of the top students in the school." Said Bakugo.
"My grades had dropped a little bit, so I need to do this." Said Amity.
"That sounds pathetic…" muttered Bakugo.
Amity rolled her eyes.
"Like I care what you think." Said Amity, "You have classes with Eijiro for the next couple of hours so you're not my problem right now."
"Whatever." Muttered Katsuki.
Amity walked away, however it was clear that something was wrong.
"Hey Bakugo is just me or she limping?" asked Kirishima.
"None of our business" Muttered Bakugo having noticed the limp but didn't say anything.
Not too long later, Luz, Izuku and Todoroki were walking to their next class together.
Luz was looking at her phone, she had gotten a text from her mother that morning.
"Luz what's wrong?" asked Izuku.
"Is it weird that your principal call my mom?" asked Luz.
"What?" asked Izuku.
"Your principal called my mom this morning. Which is weird because I haven't given any of you her number." Said Luz.
Izuku and Todoroki looked at each other.
"My father had mentioned something to me many times. That Nezu is a conniving rat and seems to know everything." Said Shoto, "He told me not to trust him so I do…"
"What?" asked Luz.
"It's nothing…" said Izuku.
"But I don't think I even told anyone my mom's name." said Luz.
"As soon as he got word of your fully name, he was able to track your mom down." Said Todoroki.
"Really? That's really scary." Said Luz.
"He is the most intelligent being on earth so…" said Izuku.
That was when some weird dark shadow swooped in and kidnapped Luz.
They looked as where the dark shadow left… unsure of it was…
However one thing is clear.
"I think we're starting to get used to the Boiling Isles." Said Izuku who was just barely surprised that their friends was just kidnaped by something like that.
Todoroki nodded .
"We really need to rescue her…" said Izuku.
"We do…" said Todoroki.
With Luz she fell down to the floor.
"Sorry… we just wanted to mees with you a bit." Said a voice.
She looked at up and saw a pair of twins due to how similar they looked one boy and one, both of them had green hair and golden eyes. Both of them were also Illusion students .
"Oh hey… did you really have do that?" asked Luz brushing herself off.
"Sorry but was so much fun." Said the boy.
"So why did you drag me here?" asked Luz .
Both twins sighed.
"We're worried about Amity." Said the girl.
"What happened?" asked Luz, "Or is it because she's upset about the whole memory incident?"
"Oh no… it has nothing to do with your fellow humans." Said the girl.
"Do you know anything to do with Blight Industries?" asked the boy.
"Wait… is a company your parents own?" asked Luz.
IT should be pointed out the twins were Emira and Edric, Amity's older brother and sister.
That was when Izuku and Todoroki were nearby… and they quickly realized it was some sort of prank… after all Illusions were weird and did have a physical aspect to them.
That was main reason why Momo chose the Illusion Tract, her curiosity about that physical aspect.
"Look our parents had their annual presentation for the investors last night." Said Emira, "The company creates Abomination based home security and weapons… and someone has to test them out."
"What do you mean by that?" asked Luz.
"Mitten's grade had started slipping a tiny but and mom didn't like that." Said Emira.
"So they had her test out dad's newest top invention and there might have been an accident." said Edric.
"Wait… what?" asked Luz,.
"Mittens got hurt pretty badly, but after her Grudgby Incident she's trying to hide it as best as she can." Said Emira.
"I knew your parents were bad when they forced Amity to break off her friendship with Willow but using her as a testing dummy!" yelled Luz.
"Wait… they made Mittens do what?" asked Edric.
"Can you hold on for a second." Said Emira.
She took out a list from somewhere, the list was entitled "Reasons to write a tell all book (Or get Amity to write it)".
She added "Made Amity break off a friendship…"
"Wait… did they also make her hang out with Boscha" asked Emira.
"Yeah." Said Luz.
She then added "And made her hang out with fake friends."
"Is she okay…" said Luz.
"We don't know how badly hurt she was." Said Edric.
From Izuku and Todoroki's spot, Todoroki seemed to be getting angry. Izuku was calming him down as much but really couldn't blame him for how he was acting.
Hearing at a new friend was going through something horrible form their parents… yeah…
Back with the conversation.
"She's gotten really good at hiding her injuries." Said Edric.
"Much better than Edric had… which was why dad doesn't let him do it anymore." Said Emira.
"Emira…" said Edric blushing.
"Anyways the point is that you need to figure out ways to help her without mom finding out." Said Edric.
"She almost brought a picture from Grom." Said Emira, "Then I pointed out what could happen if it fell out of her pocket."
"Yeah…" said Luz knowing how much Amity cared about the four friends together.
"Luz! We're worried about her." Said Emira.
"She's our little sister…" said Edric.
"Yeah…" said Luz, "I just have to figure out a way to go about it…"
The twins also nodded.
"By the way did you have to kidnap me, it was a really bad idea especially in front of Izuku and Shoto." Said Luz.
"Why is it a bad idea?" asked Edric.
"Um… well they're training to be heroes… which a job about saving people and you just kidnapped me in front of them…" said Luz.
The twins weren't sure how to react.
However Izuku sighed and decided to reveal that they were eves dropping.
The twins looked at them.
"You're lucky that they didn't try to attack you for kidnaping me." Said Luz, "Izuku has a super strength quirk and Shoto can use fire and ice without using magic."
"I see…" said Edric.
"So you're two of the human cuties that befriend our little Mittens." Said Emira.
"This is Emira and Edric, Amity's older siblings." Said Luz.
"Oh we heard about you." Said Izuku.
"Really now?" asked Edric .
"Nice!" said Emira .
"So how much did you hear." Said Emira changing back to the heavy subject .
"Pretty much everything." Said Izuku.
"So then you heard the explanation of how our parents used Amity as a testing dummy." Said Edric.
The two nodded.
"I'll help her." Said Todoroki.
Luz looked at Todoroki surprised, though Izuku wasn't surprised at all.
"Are you sure Shoto?" asked Luz.
"I have my reasons…" said Todoroki.
"Unless you went through something like what Mittens is going though I doubt you can help..." Said Emira.
He didn't answer, and it was with that lack of answer that they realized… that he knew what she was going through.
"Ooh…" winced eldritch.
"Sorry…" mumble Emira.
"It's fine…" said Todoroki.
"Was that secret memory him sharing his tragic backstory?" Luz quietly asked Izuku.
Izuku blinked for a second then remembered what she was referring to and nodded.
"Oh…" said Luz.
"I'll handle it… it will be fine." Said Todoroki.
"It's his dad isn't it?" asked Luz.
"What?" asked Emira.
"Oh yeah… what he did at the Sports Festival." Said Izuku.
Todoroki scowled.
"Okay… you're going to explain to show us later." Said Emira.
"Oh man! We have to get to class!" said Luz realizing that they were right.
Izuku activated his quirk and grabbed the two so they wouldn't be late for class.
"So do all humans have weird powers." Said Edric.
"I have no idea…" said Emira.
During lunch the large group of friends (IE: all of class 1-A and the four that were already attending) were eating while talking.
"So you're finally out of the Detention Tract." Said Izuku trying to be pleasant with Bakugo .
Bakugo just growled at him… which of course earned a few glares from Ochaco, Amity and Todoroki. Luz, Willow and Tenya seemed to be more neutral at the moment.
"So you're not enjoy. The classes you had today?" asked Izuku.
"Construction wasn't that bad…" muttered Bakugo.
As it turned out Construction was among the classes that were in the easier category when it came to learning magic on the human end…
Though ironically Potions were in that category as well… but there was less options for the class going horribly wrong.
Izuku seemed to breathe a sigh of relief as he spoke Bakugo and it was clearly that he did enjoy it… well for Bakugo.
Though he did looks from Luz, Tenya and Willow … while they were still neutral it was clear that they didn't like Izuku not hating Bakugo.
Izuku sighed at their looks.
That afternoon when school got, Amity and Bakugo were glaring at each other as they left school together.
As it turned out Abominations were on the higher end of difficult classes… Which meant that Bakugo didn't have a good time in class. Though it didn't help that Yaoyorozu was also walking with them and much like earlier tried her best to act like a barrier.
"Bakugo it was first set of class, of course you wouldn't be able to get it on your first try…" said Yaoyorozu.
"It still kind of pathetic though." Said Bakugo.
"Well it's got to be expected of human when Luz hasn't figured out to how to use the magic yet." Said Amity.
"Of course you admire her Choco Mint." Said Bakugo .
Thankfully that was when Todoroki showed up.
"Amity we need to talk." Said Todoroki.
"Maybe it's a good idea for you leave." Said Yaoyorozu.
"Fine…" said Amity.
Yaoyorozu sighed.
"Look I know something happened in Midoriya's mind… but you shouldn't be fanning flames." Sighed Yaoyorozu, "Even when we get back to earth you will still have to work with them…"
"Choco Mint isn't on the list." Said Bakugo rolling his eyes .
"That might be, but she's still a friend and ally." Sighed Yaoyorozu,
"Whatever…" muttered Bakugo.
Todoroki found a place to talk to Amity privately .
"What did you want to talk about." Said Amity.
"Your siblings are worried about you." Said Todoroki.
"Are you kidding me!" yelled Amity, "Why would they even go to you?"
"Actually they didn't…" said Todoroki, "They went to Luz and myself and Midoriya overheard heard tell her."
"Of course…" sighed Amity, "Let me guess they kidnapped Luz with one of their Illusions."
"They did…" said Todoroki .
Amity face palmed.
"I know what it's like…" said Todoroki.
"What to be used a testing dummy by your own parents all because your grades dropped a little bit?" asked Amity sarcastically.
"How much do you know about Quirks?" asked Todoroki.
"I know their special powers that humans have and Luz explained hers is weak when she told me about them…" said Amity.
"In the second generation of quirks it was common for two people to get married just for their quirk. To give birth to someone with a powerful quirk… It's fallen out of favor in recent years, but my father bought my mother." Said Todoroki.
"What?" asked Amity.
"My father is the number 2 hero in Japan." Said Todoroki, "He's always wanted to be number 1… but he could never surpass All Might."
Todoroki started to shake a little after remembering something he discovered recently.
"Is everything okay?" asked Amity.
"Just realized something I have to do when we get back to Earth." Said Todoroki, "It's nothing for you to be concerned about…"
"So what does hat have to do with him buying your mom?" asked Amity.
"Since he couldn't become the Number 1 hero on his own he wanted to create a child with the perfect Quirk to surpass All Might." Said Todoroki .
"Wait… what?" asked Amity.
"My Quirk is perfect for this Goal." Said Todoroki.
"You born just so he can live through you…" said Amity horrified.
Todoroki nodded.
"My entire childhood was training to surpass All Might, until Midoriya befriended me, I never had any friends." Said Todoroki.
Amity's eyes widened when he said that.
"Are you serious?" asked Amity.
"Not only that but he kept me separated from my siblings." Said Todoroki.
Sure she often didn't get along with her siblings, but at least they were there for her when she needed them.
"I don't know if I should tell you what happened to my mother." Said Todoroki touching his face scar.
"She's not dead is she?" asked Amity.
"No…" said Todoroki.
"IF it's tied to that scar I don't think I need to know." Said Amity.
Todoroki nodded.
"My mom also makes me dye my hair." Said Amity, "Because she wants her children to color coordinated."
Todoroki looked at her hair.
"So it's not natural…" said Todoroki.
"No… yours is?" asked Amity.
"Yes… though I'm considering reversing the colors for April Fool's Day next year." Said Todoroki.
"I'm assuming in that some sort of Earth Holiday." Said Amity.
Todoroki nodded.
"So why are you telling me?" asked Amity.
"Something I learned… pain like this shouldn't be locked away." Said Todoroki, "You should let someone know…"
"Did you?" asked Amity.
"I did tell someone." Said Todoroki, "And that person went above and beyond to help me. My father's quirk is fire, my mother's quirk is ice…"
"Okay… so that's how it works." Said Amity.
"For a long time I refused to use my fire, thinking that it belonged to him… that it was his fire." Said Todoroki, "But Midoriya was able to show me that it was my power."
"So he's the one the one you told." Said Amity.
"He was…" said Todoroki.
Amity sighed… she remembered she felt after revealing the truth on why she broke off her friendship with Willow… she remember the happiness she felt at Grom.
"You're right…" said Amity, "I should tell someone."
Todoroki nodded.
"So… you're not good at Social Interactions… are you?" asked Amity.
"No…" said Todoroki.
"I see…" said Amity, "Because normally subjects like this are handled carefully."
"Really?" asked Todoroki.
Amity sighed remembering that his closest friend was an awkward and nervous boy.
"Are most humans awkward at social interactions or do I just have weird luck with humans?" asked Amity.
She had normal conversations with Kirishima, Ochaco, Yaoyorozu and Jiro… but the others…
"I think it's your luck." Said Todoroki.
"Yeah…" said Amity, "Okay…"
She looked at him and it was clear that something changed between them. It helped that both of them knew what the other was going through… but they did have to admit to themselves that Todoroki had it worse…
Sometime later at the Owl House, Willow Amity and Gus left for the day.
When they left Todoroki approached Izuku who knew he needed to talk.
"Midoriya… when we get back to Earth, I need to talk to All Might privately." Said Todoroki.
Izuku was going to ask why but then he remember, Todoroki found out about All Might's injury.
"Of course… I'll tell him…" said Izuku.
Then touched his friend's shoulder.
"It will be okay Todoroki…" said Izuku.
Todoroki just nodded.
"Maybe you should tell Uraraka and Tenya about your past…" said Izuku, "So they can help…"
"I'll think about it…" said Todoroki.
Izuku sighed at his friend, due to the fact that he was the only one that knew about Todoroki's past… and Todoroki liked (as Bakugo did overhear the conversation after all)
Sometime later at Amity's house, she entered the living room where parents were having tea while talking about a deal they made.
"I can't believe the Emperor Bought the Entire Stock…" said her mother who was very nervous .
"The Golden Guard did say he didn't want anyone to have a private army…" said her father.
Amity tried her best not react to this and just walked her parents hoping they wouldn't noticed her.
"Amity!" said her mother.
"Yes?" asked amity.
"Principal Bump told me you're getting extra credit for helping out with a troublesome student." Said her mother.
"I am…" said Amity.
"How troublesome is he?" asked her mother.
"He's a foul mouthed hot head…" muttered Amity.
"Oh… so it sounds like you're only going to be helping him for your grades." Said her mother, "Very good then."
Amity internally breathed a sigh of relief .
Amity headed to her room. As she walked down the hall way.
"Amity?" asked her father.
"Yes?" asked Amity.
"I noticed you're still limping." Said her father, "Are you all right?"
"It should heal soon, if not I'll ask someone with good healing magic to heal." Said Amity.
"That's not why I was asking…" her father said.
"Then why are you asking?" asked Amity, "From the sounds of it you got your sales so why should it matter if I'm limping."
"Amity…" said her father.
"I need to rest my leg." Muttered Amity.
She then said under her breath "You never cared before why start now…"
Her father however heard that.
"Alador… I just got a message from the Emperor's Coven, they want new upgrades." Said Amity's mother.
"Of course…" he said knowing he did have to get to work…
But he knew he wouldn't forget what she just said… even with his attention span…
He did have a bad attention span… but still it indeed something he wouldn't forget…
