A/N: It's been a couple of weeks... so what I'm keep from the two recent episodes and what I'm going to keep:

Keeping Up A-fear-ances: Not much... I don't know I'm going to bring Gwendolyn or not and I'm going to keep Lilith around but there will be the hint about Titan's Blood at some point... don't know when...

Journey to the Glass Ruins: I might have the Glandus kids appear in the future to rub the UA students the wrong way and maybe get Amity's hair style change, but it depends on if it kept (I get the feeling like she might be forced to change it back, but considering the previous episode of her saying she wasn't going to bosses around anymore we'll see)... If I do the hair style change it will probably be the girls giving her a makeover. I also still need Luz to get her own crush on Amity so... yeah...

Chapter 10: Learning Things

It was a somewhat normal day in The Owl House. Somewhat due to the fact that well… it wasn't a school day… so there were a lot of people in the house.

However it was also decided that well… something had to be learned.

After all Lilith magic was slowly weakening, and while she still enough magic for a while it would one day run out.

"All right I have found four Glyphs…" said Luz.

"How did you find them?" asked Izuku who was also curious about learning Glyphs.

"I learn them from nature and other witches spells…" admitted Luz.

"Really?" asked Izuku.

Luz nodded, Izuku had heard about the Boscha thing but not in detail…

"And I have yet to find more…" said Luz.

"Do you know why?" asked Izuku.

"I have no idea…" said Luz with a shrug, "Then again I've been focus on other things." \

"What does that mean?" asked Eda.

"You know what's happened since then…" pointed out Luz.

"Oh wait… did you get the Fire Glyph from that Grudgby Game?" asked Eda.

"Yeah…" said Luz.

"That was right before the incident…" Eda explained to Izuku.

Izuku nodded.

"I do remember a while ago I did make a sign using multiple light glyphs." said Luz.

"Oh yeah… that sign…" muttered Eda.

"It's entirely possible that using Glyphs like that can create new spells." Said Luz.

"Interesting…" said Eda trying out a combination herself.

It caused an explosion.

"Of course…" sighed Lilith, "How did you make this sign?"

"Oh…" said Luz who explained the sign.

"I see…" said Lilith.

That was when Eda who smashed together a bunch of Glyph together caused another small explosion, that knocked over Izuku's notebooks. Luz was the one to pick to up.

As it turned out it was analysis page for her quirk.

Luz looked at the page, she had almost forgotten what Izuku said.

"I put the information I thought about your quirk in the same notebook I've been using to learn magic…" explained Izuku.

She looked at thin formation on the notebook.

"Okay… we're going to put a pin in learning about Glyphs and I'm going to do this instead." Said Luz.

"Wait what?" asked Eda.

"Really?" asked Lilith.

"Look! Growing up my quirk was considered weak! I was someone made fun of… not as much as other kids… like Bradley… but still a lot…" said Luz, "I never thought there were ways to make my quirk stronger…"

Lilith and Eda looked at each other.

"Look it's complicated it…" sighed Luz.

She then grabbed Izuku and dragged him away.

"SO she's really ditching us…" sighed Eda.

"I'm surprised." Said Lilith.

"Actually me too." Admitted Eda, "I've never seen Luz act like this… I guess that quirk thing is a really important human thing… and the fact she never wants to talk about it…"

"I see…" said Lilith.

"Anyways since she's gone I'm going to do things my own way." Said Eda.

"What?" asked Lilith .

"Look if a bunch of idiot kids could handle these things, the strongest witch in the Boiling Isles can handle it." Said Eda.

That was when they heard some electrical noises.

"Oh you idiot!" they heard Jiro yell.

"See what I mean…" said Eda.

"That's not one of the kids who's learning magic…" pointed out Lilith.

"Whatever…" muttered Eda.

"Look something like this needs careful study." Said Lilith.

"Whatever…" muttered Eda going into the house.

That was when Jiro was dragging an out of it Kaminari.

"Is he okay?" asked Lilith.

"This is something that happens to him when he goes over his limit." Said Jiro.

"Wheeeeey…." Said Kaminari completely out of it but giving the thumbs up.

"So siblings rivalry?" asked Jiro.

"You have siblings?" asked Lilith.

"Nope… I'm an only child." Said Jiro.

"I see…" said Lilith.

Inside the Owl House, Eda was getting started on her experiments.

"So what are you doing?" asked Ochaco.

"Just figuring out things involving Glyphs." Said Eda.

"I see…" said Ochaco.

Ochaco began to slowly leave the room.

That was when she saw Yaoyorozu.

"Hey… have you made a…" said Ochaco.

"Fire extinguishers? I made a few…" admitted Yaoyorozu.

"Good… because we're going to need at least one…" said Ochaco.

Yaoyorozu got the feeling like something bad was going to happen judging by the way she was acting.

With Luz and Izuku… Izuku was going through with his ideas for her quirks and to see if they work.

"All right! So which should I do first… maybe I should do brightness last due to the fact that I'll probably not be able to see well for a while after I test it." Said Luz.

"Have to tried size?" asked Izuku.

Luz gave him a look.

"I guess that's one thing you always tried…" laughed Izuku.

"Yeah… growing up I always tried size and only size." Admitted Luz.

"That does make sense." Said Izuku.

Luz began to focus on creating a light that was a different color.

She thought of a green light and after a few minute a green light came out of her hand.

"I did it!" said Luz.

She tried to focus on making it purple this time… but it wasn't working.

"Is something wrong?" asked Izuku.

"I'm trying to make a purple light.' Said Luz, "I don't know why it's not working!"

"Maybe look up what makes up the wavelength of the color." Said Izuku.

And so Luz did so…

"Oh that's the problem…" said Luz.

"What is?" asked Izuku.

"Purple doesn't technically exist…" said Luz, "It's actually mix of colors with the red and blue wavelength, violet exists, but not purple…"

"That's weird." Said Izuku.

"Quirks are weird sometimes… and my quirk determined that it can't make purple…" said Luz.

Izuku laughed.

Meanwhile outside the Owl House, Lilith was running tests on Ice Glyphs.

There was a method to the tests as she made certain things with ice.

That was when Bakugo showed up after a workout.

"Hello Katsuki want an ice pop?" she said holding out what looked like a popsicle.

"Is just plain ice?" asked Bakugo

"It is." Admitted Lilith.

"I need something to drink anyways." Said Bakugo

She gave him one of the ice pops she made.

"So what are you doing?" asked Bakugo

"Luz was trying to teach us about Glyphs but then she got distracted by learning the things she could do with her own quirk." Explained Lilith.

"Whatever…" said Bakugo with a shrug.

Inside the Owl House, Eda was glaring out the window.

"So what's going on?" asked Mina.

"Nothing…" muttered Eda.

She began to make a house of glyphs… seemingly out of spite.

"What are you doing?" asked King who was also there.

"I'm building a house of Glyphs." Said Eda.

Mina and King looked at each other unsure on what to do…

Back with Luz and Izuku. Luz needed to take a break. Her vision was starting to blur.

"You okay?" asked Izuku.

"I'm fine…" said Luz, "Probably not used to using my quirk… it gets better after a while."

"That's good." Said Izuku.

"Whoo! I can't believe I did something with my quirk." Said Luz.

Izuku looked at Luz.

"I know you had a hard time with your quirk… but to finally learn something new about my quirk…" said Luz.

"I get it." Said Izuku, "It's your power…"

"Yeah…" said Luz, "I do love learning magic… but it's still my quirk you know…"

"I get it." Said Izuku.

"You know it's your power line is really good." Said Luz.

"It's something I told Todoroki a while back." Said Izuku, "Though the context was a bit different."

"I see." Said Luz.

Back in the Owl House, a small fire that Eda set was put out by Tenya who had gotten word about what she was doing.

"I know this is your house… but doing that is highly irresponsible." Said Tenya.

"You did managed to put out the fire so it's fine…" said Eda with a shrug.

"Ms. Edalyn! You should wait to experiment if the Glyphs." Said Tenya, "I know this is your house but you could be placing everyone in danger."

"Look kid! I know magic…" said Eda, "I know that it's different than the type I used before but it will be fine."

She had created a mix of the glyphs and activated it, creating some sort of spikey ice blob.

"See it was fine." Said Eda.

Then the blob pulsed and it started to grow.

"I'm sure that's normal!" said Eda.

"That looks like it's made of ice…" said King.

"I'm going to get Todoroki…" said Tenya.

"What it's fine!" said Eda.

He then got a little bigger.

"Maybe you should get him just in case…" said Eda.

Tenya didn't say anything as he left the room to find Todoroki.

Back with Luz and Izuku.

"Okay! My sight is back to a good level! So let's do it!" cheered Luz.

"All right." Said Izuku.

"Okay! So brightness and intensity!" said Luz.

Izuku nodded.

Luz focused, and this was easier than changing the color the light.

However she underestimated how bright she could make it.

And the it was so bright it nearly blinded Izuku and completely blinded Luz.

"What happened?" asked Izuku.

"I think making it more intense made the drawback even worse!" said Luz.

"That makes sense." Said Izuku who began on his mutter sprees, "I mean it's clear that it effects your eyes when you use it too much and…"

"So if I rest my sight should come back." Said Luz.

"Yeah…" said Izuku.

That was when they heard a roar.

"What was that?" asked Izuku.

"That can't be good…" said Luz.

Back in the Owl House the magic ice blob was glowing bigger.

And unfortunately Todoroki's fire didn't do anything do it.

That was when Bakugo and Lilith entered the house.

"What the fuck!" yelled Bakugo.

"Eda! What did you do!" yelled Lilith.

"How come you're blaming me? I mean anyone could have done it." Said Eda.

"It is Eda's fault." Said King.

"Yeah…" said Ochaco.

"It is…" said Mina.

The blob once again grew.

"Okay! How are we going to stop this thing?" asked Eda, "And before you say anything, already tried Shoto… didn't work…"

"I think I might have an idea." Said Lilith.

Meanwhile in the forest, a giant monster had started to attack the two.

Luz who can now see only vague shapes created a wall of vines.

However Izuku able to see the monster and was fighting it.

He managed to kick it in the face.

Followed by a punch.

"Are you okay?" asked Luz.

"I'm fine right now!" called out Izuku.

The monster which was some kind of big lizard just roared.

That was when Izuku had an idea.

He took out an Ice Glyph (as he had learned the two glyphs he hadn't learned since then) and sent it at the monster and got it run away due to the cold.

"You used magic did you?" asked Luz who still couldn't see anything.

"How did you know?" asked Izuku.

"It got colder." Said Luz, "Unless Todoroki showed up…"

"I did." Said Izuku.

"Amazing!" said Luz, "Look like we both have to learn from each other…"

Izuku laughed.

"But I'll work on my quirk another day! Once I can see more than shadows." Said Luz.

"Yeah…" said Izuku.

Back at the Owl House they were cleaning up mess, thankfully Lilith had figured out a rather interesting combination of Glyphs to destroy the strange ice blob.

"Okay seriously how were you able to do that?" asked Eda.

"Something I realized about Glyphs is that they're something akin to a language." Said Lilith, "Each Glyph is like a word."

"So I guess what I was doing was yelling words on top of each other." Said Eda.

"Exactly." Said Lilith.

"Where is Luz anyways?" asked Ochaco.

"She dragged Izuku off to figure out how to do new things with Quirk." Said Eda.

"Oh cool." Said Ochaco.

That was when Luz and Izuku finally returned.

"Hey anything happen?" asked Luz.

"Eda nearly destroyed the house with Glyphs." Said King.

"Really?" asked Luz.

"Are you okay?" asked Lilith.

"Just my quirk's drawback." Said Luz, "I'm pretty much blind at the moment but it was worse earlier so it will be fine."

"So are you fine?" asked Lilith.

"Totally fine." Said Luz.

She then proceeded to tip on the coffee and land hard.

"Maybe I should take a nap while I recover…" said Luz.

"Sounds like a good idea…" said Eda.

"Yeah…" agreed Lilith.

"That's a good idea." Said Izuku.

And so things were learned about Glyphs and Luz's quirk, and things would change for both sides of things…

Next Time: King decided to take, Luz, Lilith, Hagakure Mina and Hooty on a journey to show them where he ruled many years ago... but not everything is as it seems. What will happen? Find out next time!
