A/N: 10,000 hits! Whoo! (Collapses) This chapter took a month and a half to write... first I had writer's block so I took a video game break to help with my writer's block, then I had to update The Biju Biju Fruit due to the anniversary, then Titania Falls due to it being last month's fic of the month, updated My Heroes Reborn a couple times to cleanse my palette so to speak, went to an anime convention (which was awesome! Jodi Benson and Funimation voice actors were there!), updated Bleached Marimo, My Little Hero and My Heroes Reborn because they hit review celebration points which come first due to everyone seeing the number on that one... so yeah... and there's a massive pile of other stories that reached a celebration point between when I started this chapter and now... (sigh) the next chapter is going to be an original story because there's a concept I have yet to introduce... so yeah...
As for the keep and get rid for canon of the reaming episodes:
Hunting Palismans: Plans for the UA who are at Hexside to gain some… it's going to be abortable… need to figure out what else…
Eda's Requiem: I have something special in mind… a huge twist that will be sweet and interesting for the plot…
Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door: I plan for Luz and Amity to get together a different way, I'll figure out King to figure out the voice thing a different way and I plan something fun for Harpy Eda.
Eclipse Lake: Going to similar to canon but with a HUGE twist that will change everting.
Yesterday's Lie: Since a good chunk of the plot has also been chucked (and also Camila isn't a bet in the story obviously) however V will be used and I will give a hint at my plans: Mouse Bear Dog…

Chapter 11: Echoes of the Past
It was once again a normal school free day at the Owl House… So that meant it was filled with all 21 teens just doing whatever.
Luz was working on a new glyph using what Lilith had learned.
She looked over at a King for a second who approached Mina and Hagakure in a panic.
"Toru! Mina! I think François is trying to start a revulsion!" said King to the two girls he had become close with.
They looked at the stuffed toy king was talking about.
And indeed there was a knife there.
"Did… did king give him a knife?" asked Hagakure.
"I don't know…" said Mina.
Luz smiled that King gained some friends.
However she was also focused on her experiments.
"All right! I got it." She said.
She held up the glyph.
"Now you see me!" said Luz.
She placed the glyph on herself and completely disappeared.
Many in the room were surprised by this.
"Now you don't!" said Luz reappearing, "Oh I guess it only works if I hold my breath."
Everyone was impressed by this.
"How were you able to that?" asked Lilith.
"I remember what you said about combining glyphs to make new spells." Said Luz, "So I tried it…
"Can you teach me?" asked Hagakure.
"Uh… you're already invisible…" said Luz.
"Yeah… but it's more for my costume than anything. I can't my clothes inviable." Said Hagakure.
"Wait… then what do you wear a hero costume?" asked Luz.
"Just gloves and shoes." Said Hagakure.
"And that's it?" asked Luz.
"UA lets you go around naked." Said Luz.
"What is wrong with your teachers." Said Lilith.
"They're not that bad." Said Izuku.
"Deku.,.. you shouldn't be the one to say that…" said Ochaco.
"Really why?" asked Izuku.
Luz, Ochaco, Iida and Todoroki all looked at him.
They had seen his memories of his school after all and his teachers weren't good teachers.
"Izuku… your teachers really shouldn't have done stuff like that." Said Luz.
Lilith noticed the look on Bakugo's face as it was clear that conversation was veering to their shared history.
"Well you know what doesn't matter…" said Lilith.
"Also if you did learn it right now there's no way for you to use it on earth." Said Luz.
"Oh yeah!" said Hagakure.
"Anyways…" said Luz, "I got the idea from your history book Lilith."
"Fascinating." Said Lilith as she got up to walk, "As the lead historical analyst of the Emperor's coven…"
She then tripped over a pile of King's stuffed toys.
"An ambush!" yelled King, "Defend me!"
He tossed a stuffed toy at her, then another, then another, then another.
"King stop this!" said Lilith.
Kaminari started to film this.
"Are you filming this?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"I want proof that I watched this…" said Kaminari.
"He does have a point." Agreed Mina.
"The King of demon yields to no one!" yelled King.
"Historically demons had no ruler until Belos. There is no such thing as the King of Demons." Said Lilith.
"Blasphemy!" said King, "Clearly you know nothing about my reign of terror."
He told the tale about how he was a terrifying king and that a spell a placed on him that turned him into his current form.
"Oh and what about your crown of power?" asked Hooty in a mocking tone.
As a demon himself he really didn't like King claiming to be the King of Demons.
"A trifle! It a just a test to see Eda and Luz's dedication to me. They passed!" said King.
Several members of Class 1-A looked at Luz.
"I'll tell the story another time." Said Luz.
"My real crown is still out there! But when I shrank! My memories got fuzzy." Said King.
"How coinvent… a hole in your memory for each hole in your story." Said Lilith.
"Hey I remember plenty!" said King, "I remover armies bowing before me! I remember great fests and I remember falling from a massive heist as that evil hex shrank me. I will return to my rightful place! AND ALL SHALL FEAR ME!"
"Aw! You're so cute!" said Hagakure petting him.
"Who's going to be the scariest tyrant." Said Luz also petting him.
"Me! Me!" cheered King.
"Your dedication to this farce would be charming if weren't so sad." Said Lilith.
"Don't blame for me your ignorance! I'm not a liar and I can prove it." Said King storming off.
"He called me ignorant! Me!" yelled Lilith.
"Stop it you guys this story is really important him." Said Luz, "The least we can do is play along."
"Plus he's pretty much a little kid…" said Tsuyu, "He'll grow out of it one day…"
"Do you have younger siblings?" asked Lilith suspiciously.
Tsuyu took out her phone showing pictures of her younger brother and sister.
"I babysit them all the time." Said Tsuyu.
"Still we shouldn't be indulging a child's fantasy…" said Lilith.
"But we should go along with for his sake…" said Luz.
That was when… King came back, holding both Eda and Lilith's staffs. He did have a hard time bringing it in.
"I know I can't show everyone in this room! BUT I WILL SHOW YOU LILITH MY" CASTLE!" yelled King.
"Uh…" said Luz.
"Weren't you saying just saying that you should go with it?" asked Katsuki with a snort.
Luz glared at him.
"Oh we should go with him…" muttered Luz.
"I know you're only grumpy because you hate the jerk." Said King handing Luz Eda's staff.
"Don't worry I think it will be fine." Said Mina.
"Mina! Toru! You should come." Said King.
"Of course!" said Toru.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" asked Ojiro.
"I'm sure it will be fine." Said Hagakure.
"My historical integrity is being questioned…" said Lilith.
"Well I have to see this for myself." Said Hooty.
"Wait… can you even leave?" asked Mineta who did know quite a bit about Hooty, due to being on Hooty Duty.
However Hooty did have a way to leave the house.
Everyone watched in horror as Hooty removed himself from the house. It was extremely disgusting causing Mineta to faint. His absence from the door left a hole… a hole with pulsing organs and blood vessels.
"I'm all ready!" said Hooty in a little bird how like backpack.
"As heroes in training, war all must endure disgusting moments like this…" said Tenya.
Most of them nodded in agreement, as it was a good point.
Though a few of them still tired not to vomit.
"Tenya is right… we will probably see a lot of mangled bodies in the future." Said Yaoyorozu.
"You are not helping Yaomomo!" yelled Kaminari.
Luz was trying to vomit… while Izuku was patting her back.
And so once they emotionally recovered after seeing THAT! Those going on this trip all left.
They knew that everyone left behind could tell Eda what happened while she was taking a shower…
She occultly left the shower just a couple minutes after they left.
"So what's going on?" asked Eda as laid on the couch taking off her legs to relax.
"King took your sister, Luz, Mina, Hagakure and Hooty to the his castle." Said Sero with a shrug.
"Oh no! Not again!" yelled Eda.
She tripped over not having any feet and then ran as quickly as she could have to her room.
Once she was dressed she looked at the remaining members of class 1-A and then grabbed Izuku.
"What?" asked Izuku.
"You're small and you have a good head on your shoulders." Said Eda, "I'll explain on the way…"
She took him to the shed where a modified bathtub was.
"IS that a flying bathtub?" asked Izuku unsure how to react to that.
"Hey… I need something to fly if I don't have my staff." Said Eda.
Hours later…
"Are we there yet?" asked Hooty.
"No…" sighed King.
"Are we there yet?" asked Hooty.
"No…" sighed King again.
"Are we there yet?" asked Hooty.
"No!" King almost yelled.
"Are we there yet?" asked Hooty.
That was when they saw an island in the distance.
"Yes! We're almost there…" said King.
"Finally!" yelled Hooty.
"That should be impossible! There shouldn't be an island here! There's no record!" said Lilith.
"I'm sure there's a lot of island on Earth no one ever noticed." Said Mina.
"Dang it I had this really cool line." Said King.
"Sorry…" laughed Mina.
They landed on the island.
"This was where I woke in Eda's arms." Said King, "And she carried me away like a widdle baby…"
"Awe!" gushed the three girls.
Luz looked at Lilith.
"Fine then… Awe…" said Lilith in a bored tone.
"Look at that thing…" said Hooty.
They noticed a large white structure.
They approached the tower which involved walking through a jungle.
"Couldn't we have gotten in closer?" asked Lilith.
"I don't know…" said Hagakure, "Look at the trees… I don't think we could have down in."
It was true the trees foliage was very, very thick.
""That's right… also so I can do this." Said King.
He moved a large leaf out of the way for a dramatic reveal of a keyhole entrance.
"A castle fit for a tyrant." Said Luz.
"That's me! That's me!" giggled King.
They got to the entrance where there were a bunch of rocks blocking the way.
"Hey! Mina you want to help me?" asked King.
"I got this." Said Mina.
King found a hole and Mina started to melt the area around it.
Lilith was looking at the entrance.
"I have never seen material like this before… not to mention that these markings predate all known lounge." Said Lilith.
"Really? That's really cool!" said Hagakure.
"You don't really believe this?" asked Lilith.
Before Hagakure could answer the rocks fell.
"You didn't damage anything Mina? Because this is a place of great historic importance." Said Lilith.
"It's fine… I say she can accidently melt parts of my castle." Said King.
"Don't worry I haven't he's just saying I can." Said Mina.
"I see…" muttered Lilith.
They entered the tower and lit it up with light glyphs.
"Ah… the chamber which I devoured the hearts of my enemy. Though you girls hearts will probably taste sweet." Said King.
"Eh… mine would probably be sour." Said Mina.
Everyone looked at Mina.
"What… acid is very sour… acid is what makes sour candy sour." She explained.
"How do you know that?" asked Luz.
"I had to learn a lot about acid." Said Mina.
They were looking around the ruined tower.
Lilith and Hooty noticed a very ancient carving and the two realized there was a possibility that he might have been the king of demons.
At the same time Luz was worried there might be something in there.
"Hey you two are better at this…" said Luz quietly do you think there might something in here?"
"I'm getting a bad feeling too." Said Hagakure.
Mina shrugged, she knew she had to up her situational awareness after all.
"My kingdom… I may have some bone dust in my eye…" said King wiping away a tear.
"What was up there." Said Luz noticing a hole cover in rocks.
"I can't recall… I just remember a muffled roar… probably some minion praising me." Said King.
"Want to head back now?" asked Luz.
"We really should ger back… who knows what Mineta will do without Hooty not watching him." Said Mina.
"Oh no… you're right about that…" Luz realizing that it wasn't just some crappy excuse.
However Hooty suddenly tackled Luz trying to butter King.
"These ruins hold so much historical significance Please tell me what they mean!" said Lilith.
Luz just sighed.
"Figures they'd change their tune." Sighed Hagakure.
However that was when the three girls heard a noise from nearby hallway.
"You heard that right?" whispered Luz.
Mina nodded… she assumed that Hagakure was nodding too.
They knew that King was just drinking up the attention from Lilith and Hooty so the three decided to investigate anyways.
The hall way was lined with creepy thing that vaguely resembled humanoids… with crescent shaped heads.
"Look up there!" said Hagakure.
There even more on the walls above them.
"Guys… I think one is missing." Said Mina.
That was when they noticed one of them scurrying nearby.
They ran back to the main chamber.
"Hey! We have to go now!" said Luz.
"But there's so much to learn!" said Lilith.
"Now's not the time to learn!" said Mina.
"There is something in here!" said Hagakure.
"Oh you saw the horrifying monstrosity room. Don't worry they can't hurt you." Said King.
However they heard a noise and saw the "horrifying monstrosity" on the celling.
"That one can." Said Luz.
She grabbed King and they all began to make their way out.
However it jumped in front of them, Mina tried to use her acid but it didn't work.
"Oh… that's not good." Said Luz.
Lilith created a fire ball to distract but it wasn't enough.
"My magic is getting weaker…" she lamented.
That was when cuddly the horrifying monstrosity was strange forced to the ground.
"What?" asked Lilith.
"Nice work Toru!" cheered Luz.
"Thanks!" chirped Toru who was naked.
"Okay… do you have a plan it figure out how to attack you." Said Lilith.
The horrifying monstrosity got up and pushed her away.
Then it turned one of its arms into an axe.
However that was when a yellow explosion hit it distracting it.
As it turned out it was Eda.
"You girls get out of there and… Toru are you naked?" asked Eda.
Yeah…" said Hagakure.
"Okay I'll worry about that later…" said Eda, "You need to get outside."
"But we should work together." Said Luz.
"You can't be this thing… get out and wait for me…" said Eda.
They all decided to listen to her, with Hagakure thankfully picking up her discarded clothes.
"Izuku?" asked Luz when they saw Izuku waiting out for them.
"Are the others here as well?" asked Lilith.
"No just me…" said Izuku, "She has a flying bathtub…"
"Oh… so that's why she has a bathtub in the shed…" said Luz.
"Hey! Eda explained everything on the way." Said Izuku, "Also told me a bunch of stories about her earth trips in the past to pass the time…"
"She tell you about her Vegas marriage to that Stan guy?" asked Luz.
"Yeah…" said Izuku.
"Wait did you just say she got married?" asked Lilith.
"Wait! We have to go back!" said Luz.
However that was when Eda showed up, though she was holding her arm clearly hurt.
"Edalyn! You're hurt." Said Lilith.
"What about that thing?" asked Mina.
It showed up again, it tried to attack them with the axe but at soon as the axe pass through the door the limb became limp.
"It's fine it can't pass through the door." Said Eda.
"That thing must be a guard against intruders." Said Luz.
"But it's my castle…" said King, 'How can we be intruders?"
"Uh.,.." said Luz.
"You don't' believe this is my castle…" said King sounding hurt, "You believe that I would lie to you?"
"King… I…" said Luz.
"King you aren't lying… you just don't know the truth." Said Eda, "It's time I tell you the truth…"
She began to tell them about how she met them. She had been looking for a place to hide from the Emperor's Coven and found the place. She had assumed that :il' baby king was a dog. Then the horrifying monstrosity tried to kill them both she escaped taking King with her. Though in the process the horrifying nonstory created an arrow that hit one of king's horns damaging and knocking off a chunk. She also bought him a collar… once again she though he was dog. However it turned out he would learn how to talk after she called him a King with his subjects. She ended up telling him all about kings.
"That's how you thought you were some kind of despotic overlord, but you were finally happy so I kept playing along with it." Said Eda.
"You have to be lying!" said King on the verge of tears.
"I'm not." Said Eda.
She reached into her hair and pulled out his missing horn.
King grabbed the horn and got some of his memories of childhood back realizing his army was nothing but statures he made and his feasts were him eating flies.
"No… keep that away from me! It's messing with my head!" yelled King.
"King…" said Luz.
"It's going to be fine.." said Hagakure trying to comfort him but also had to get dressed.
"No… no… you're just making fun of me like usual!" cried King.
He then ran away.
"King!" yelled Luz.
They began to search for him.
"This is all my fault…" sighed Luz taking a break.
"Hey you're not the only one who encouraged him." Said Hagakure sitting down next her.
"Yeah… but you guys have only bene here for a couple weeks… I've been here much longer…" sighed Luz, "I lied to him and he trust me."
"For now let's split up… the island is small and he's even smaller." Said Eda.
They all split up.
Thankfully it was Luz who found him. The two talked and Izuku found them just as Luz realized something.
"I think the memory of you falling is a real memory." Said Luz.
"What's going on?" asked Izuku knowing it would be a good idea to back up Luz in whatever she realized.
"There's a hole in the celling of the main chamber in the tower… I think that's where King fell from." Said Luz.
"But what if it's fake like everything else." Cried King.
"IT couldn't hurt to try." Said Izuku.
"Izuku's right." Said Luz, "You might have been alone before but you have us now… and that's won't change a thing…"
She held out her hand and he took it.
They went to find the others.
"King!" said Eda running to King.
She noticed the look in his eyes.
"You're angry with me… and I get it…" sighed Eda.
"Boop!" said King poking her cheek, "No more secrets okay… You have to promise me."
"Only truths I promise." Said Eda.
"all right… there's something we have to do before we leave!" said Luz.
And so they began their plan to fight the Horrifying Monstrosity…
The first stage of the plan: Sick Izuku on it.
He came in swing punching it had.
The horrifying monstrosity was sent flying but quickly recovered.
The other were on the staffs flying to the hole.
"Should we be letting Izuku do this?" asked King.
"Don't worry he told me he learned not to break his bones." Said Luz.
"What?" asked Eda and Lilith.
"You don't want to know…" said Hagakure.
Mina began to spray the rocks with her acid which began to melt away.
"Izuku!" called out Luz.
Izuku gave the Horrifying monstrosity the hardest punch he could before jumped up the hole which was a long shaft.
When they got to the top they found an empty room.
"There's nothing here." Said Lilith.
However the Horrifying Monstrosity was able to climb the shift.
All of them went up against one of the walls.
However when King did so the wall glowed revealing the wall was really a set of doors.
Which opened up.
They entered the room and Izuku quickly closed the doors.
"Well we're safe for now…" said Eda.
"But we do have to figure out a plan if it gets through." Said Izuku.
That was when Lilith noticed how the room looked.
"This room is very old." Said Lilith.
It was filled with flowers growing everywhere but in the middle was some sort of altar with eggshells sitting on it.
"I knew there was something in here…" bragged Luz.
"I don't think this is a time to be bragging…" said Hagakure.
"Whatever those things were I believe they were made to guard whatever was in this room." Said Lilith.
"Does any of this seem familiar to you?" asked Luz.
"I don't know… but I think I know how to jog my memories." Said King.
He looked at Eda.
"Eda I'm ready." Said King.
"Are you sure about this?" asked Eda.
"Eda… I'm sure." Said King.
And so she gave him the horn which he put on.
He began to remember what happened. He remembered a roar and something happened by he was too small to do anything. Then later he remembered waking up and then the monstrosity picking him up and falling.
Once he remembered everything he realized something.
"That roar… it meant son… I don't know how I know that but… someone called me their son." Said King, "I think it was my dad!"
"Maybe that was him in all those murals." Said Luz.
"That would make sense." Said Hagakure.
That was when suddenly the horrifying monstrosity broke through the door.
"Stop!" ordered King.
It bowed to him.
"Huh… so it was protecting King from us this whole time… all right." Said Eda with a shrug.
That was when they noticed Lilith taking pictures.
"Oh were still talking about important revelations… I'll just do this…another…" said Lilith.
"My dad… he must be still out there. I'm not that old so I'm sure of it!" said King, "So will you guys help me look for him."
"Of course!" said Hagakure.
"We would be able to call us future heroes if we didn't." said Mina.
"I'd do anything for you buddy.: said Luz.
"Then… can we keep him…" said King.
"No…" said all of the girls and women.
However Izuku was quiet… he kind of understood where King was coming.
Hooty was about to say "Yes".
But that was when something horrifying hit Lilith.
"Oh no… I just realized… we left a bunch unsupervised teenagers with Eda's apple blood." Said Lilith.
"It's fine Tenya's there, knowing him he's guarding the apple blood with his life…" said Luz, "I'm more worried about leaving Mineta without Hooty."
"Uh-oh…" said Hooty.
"Oh no the underwear drawer!" yelled Eda.
"All of our underwear!" yelled Mina.
Thankfully as they were freaking out about it… this was happening in the Owl House…
Mineta was tapped to the wall… including gagging him with the tape.
"Thanks Sero!" said Ochaco.
"No problem." Said Sero.
"Usually I would be against it, considering everything… I have to agree with this…" sighed Tenya.
"honestly… did you really think you could get away with that?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"Just because Hooty isn't here doesn't mean you could get away with it…" said Tsuyu.
Mineta started crying and cried something muffled .
"Guys I can't believe I'm about to say this but I think we need to let him down." Said Jiro.
"Why?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"Let's just say I'd rather not have a repeat of the forest of beasts." Said Jiro.
Everyone blinked and they saw Mineta was started to blush.
It should be noted during their way to camp he wet his pants .
"All right let's get him down… but he's going back up there." Said Yaoyorozu.
Mineta whined at that .
Though they did end up taking the horrifying monstrosity home with them, with King naming him "Jean Luc". Though it wasn't able to move outside of the tower. He also carved the symbols into his tag.
Luz ended up gluing his horn to its proper spot with her promising no matter what she would help him.
And with everyone agreeing at the Owl House to help as well.
