I watched "Blind Man's Bluff" S8 E24 again yesterday, and each time it makes me uneasily wonder what would have happened if Matt had remained so visually impaired. Same as with his serious injuries in "The Bullet/Gold Train," and "The Disciple." I realize some or many may not agree with me, but this is my version of what may have occurred.

There's only so many times that one can be taken for granted. This fanfic begins with an ATC of S19E24 "The Disciple" and chronicals my explanation of why Kitty left. Will they ever see each other again? Inspired by the song "If I Would've Known" by Kyle Hume.
