The chapter opens up on a black screen, with Tale checking his non-existent watch while holding a script. Tale looked up and waved at you, the reader. "Yo, this chapter is going to get nerdy," Tale explained. "This is a warning. With your warning issued, enjoy the chapter."

The Perfect Pokémon Master

Tale looked at the chapter title with a hum. "...make it Tutor. The Perfect Pokémon Tutor."

The Perfect Pokémon Tutor

As the world around him materialized, with the Realmcrafter standing next to Cell, Tale gave an approving nod. "Neat."

"Hold on," Cell said as he looked at Tale, surprised. "You can actually mess with the title of the chapter?"

Tale crossed his arms. "No, but I can make a suggestion. You forget, I'm an actual person, not a fictional character like you are."

"I didn't forget," Cell replied. "I just didn't expect Lego to be reasonable."

The Realmcrafter stared at Cell for a moment, before shaking his head. "Anyways…" Tale pulled out a sheet of paper. "Let's see… 'It is time to continue your training and make your team as best as it can be.'"

"I'm sorry, are you reading from a script?" Cell asked, surprised to see Tale pull out a script.

Tale shrugged. "Don't worry about it too much," he said, before the script disappeared. "Anyways, we gotta train your Pokémon."

"Right," Cell said. "And I need to catch an Eevee for Vaporeon!"

Tale merely gave Cell a dry look, unamused by his antics. "I swear, you want something to happen to you."

"Regardless, where can I find an Eevee?" Cell asked. "Or where can I find a Vaporeon?"

"Seeing as we're still in the Crown Tundra, we can find Eevees in the Giant's Bed while it's sunny," Tale answered as he pulled out his Pokédex.

"Why does it matter if it's sunny?" Cell questioned, confused by the specifics.

"Look, I got no idea how Pokémon function in the DAU consider it's the DAU," Tale answered. "I'm going off of game logic, because we can use it as a basis for most of the actions we're going to do, which includes training your Pokémon, forcing them to take performance enhancing mints, give them random CDs that'll suddenly give them the knowledge to use a new move, and more." Tale pulled out a list. "Which reminds me. I gotta give your Pokémon the mints."

Cell raised an eyebrow at Tale's wording and logic. "I'm… sorry, 'performance enhancing mints'?"

"Nature Mints," Tale explained, pulling out a couple of said mints, one of which was red and the other a lime green. "These can change a Pokémon's nature… or at least how their stats grow." Tale looked up from the mints and asked, "Can you bring out Lopunny and Gardevoir please?"

"Uh… sure?" Cell did as asked, bringing out his two Pokémon. Tale then walked up to them both, before giving Lopunny the red mint, and Gardevoir the green mint. The effects were immediate, with Lopunny looking more confident and Gardevoir looking more timid. "What the hell did you do?"

"I gave Lopunny an Adamant Mint and Gardevoir a Timid Mint," Tale explained. "The Adamant Nature makes a Pokémon's Attack stat grow more while limiting their Special Attack stat's growth. A Timid Nature makes a Pokémon's Speed grow more, but limits their Attack stat. These are both better for Lopunny and Gardevoir, who previously had the Lonely and Jolly Natures. Lopunny would've taken more damage due to its low defense, and Gardevoir's Special Attack would've been lower, causing it to deal less damage." Tale began going through his bag again, adding, "Gardevoir is also a Special Attacker, so that Jolly Nature was going to be detrimental."

Cell slowly nodded, surprised by how in depth Tale was being. "Wow… I did not know that."

"That's because you're a casual," Tale remarked. "But as your Tutor, I'm going to train you up accordingly." Tale then pulled out a lot of discs from his bag. "Alright, mind if I teach your Pokémon moves now?"

Cell slowly nodded. "Uh… yeah?"

"Cool beans," Tale said with a light smile, before walking up to Gardevoir and carefully handling the discs he held.

"So… what are you doing with the discs?" Cell asked Tale curiously.

"The movesets for your Pokémon require some work," Tale said honestly. "That's why I'm using TMs and TRs, or Technical Machines and Technical Records, to change their movesets."

"You can do that?" Cell questioned.

"Yep," Tale said. "Lego gave me the greenlight to help your team as I see fit."

"Okay… so what are you doing with those discs?" Cell as curiously.

"For starters, Dream Eater is useless on Gardevoir because it can't induce sleep. That's getting replaced with Shadow Ball." Tale pulled out a black disc with a dark purple inner ring. Upon touching Gardevoir with it, it broke. "Heal Pulse is only effective in Double Battle scenarios because Heal Pulse heals a target, not the user. That's getting replaced with Moonblast." Tale then did a couple of hand signs and tapped Gardevoir's forehead.

"The fuck was that?" Cell questioned, surprised by the hand signs.

"There is no TM or TR in Pokémon Sword or Shield for Moonblast," Tale answered. "Gardevoirs tend to learn it through level up, so I just made Gardevoir remember using plotting convenience and magic from the Move Relearners." Tale then held an orange disc in his hand. "Do you want to keep Calm Mind on Gardevoir though?"

"What's it do?" Cell asked Tale.

"It raises a Pokémon's Special Attack and Special Defense stats by one stage," Tale explained. "It can stack up to 6 times, but it does cost a turn to use. In battle, that can make all the difference… unless you force your opponent to switch Pokémon because it has no moves that'll damage your Pokémon, especially against a Dragon-Type Gym Leader. Dragon-Type moves deal no damage to Gardevoir since its part Fairy."

"And what's in that disc?" Cell asked Tale, gesturing to the orange disc he held.

"Mystical Fire," Tale answered. "A Fire-Type move that deals damage, and has a chance to lower the opposing Pokémon's Special Attack stat by a stage." Holding the disc for Cell to see more clearly, Tale added, "I recommend this for the sake of coverage. I'd even recommend Thunderbolt for coverage too."

"But Pokémon only learn four moves," Cell replied, crossing his arms and tilting his head, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, so you'd have to pick what you want," Tale replied.

Cell contemplated his choices for a moment. In that moment, he made a decision. "I'll keep Calm Mind on Gardevoir then," Cell said.

"Alright, so Gardevoir knows Calm Mind, Psychic, Moonblast, and Shadow Ball," Tale said. "...a pretty stereotypical Gardevoir moveset in all honesty."

"What about Lopunny?" Cell asked Tale curiously, looking over at the Rabbit Pokémon.

"Lopunny is getting two new moves," Tale answered as he pulled out a purely light blue disc. "First, Acrobatics in place of Bounce." This time around, the disc did not break on contact with Lopunny. "Acrobatics is better in place of Bounce since Bounce IS a two turn move. Acrobatics does a lot of damage as well if your Pokémon has no held item. The other move I recommend is called Brutal Swing." Tale tapped a dark gray, nearly black disc against Lopunny. "It'll allow Lopunny to hit Ghost-Type Pokémon, which can be useful since Ghost-Types moves can't hit Normal-Type Pokémon, which Lopunny is. That, and coverage."

"What about High Jump Kick?" Cell asked. "Or Flatter?"

"High Jump Kick is good for coverage," Tale said. "Just pray to the deities of RNG Lopunny doesn't miss with it, otherwise it'll take damage. Likewise, Flatter is also a double-edged sword. It confuses the opposing Pokémon and raises their Special Attack by a single stage. It's knowing when to use these moves that'll be helpful in your battles."

"What about Juan and Wigglytuff?" Cell asked. "What about Calyrex?"

"Eh, I'll worry about them later," Tale replied. "We still need to get you that Eevee. We can worry about feeding Wigglytuff EXP Candies and finalizing Juan's moveset later."

"The fuck?" Cell questioned, confused.

"We're almost pushing 1400 words, let's not make this too long and nerdy," Tale remarked as he began walking out of Freezington with Cell, where it was cloudy.

"Okay?" Cell replied as he followed Tale. "But it's not sunny. How are we supposed to find that Eevee if it's not-" Cell was cut off by the clouds just disappearing entirely the moment they stepped onto non-snow covered grass.

"And now we're in a new area," Tale remarked.

"What is with the weather in this place?!" Cell questioned, surprised.

"I wouldn't doubt it if it was a Yo-Kai's doing," Tale commented. "You guys do have Yo-Kai from the Yo-Kai Watch series as a part of the DAU… although in general the weather is weird within the Galar Region."

"Touché," Cell replied with a nod. "...wait, there are Yo-Kai that can change the weather?"

"Oh hey look," Tale said, pointing over to some ruins where there just conveniently happened to be some Eevees. "A bunch of Eevees." Glancing at the Perfect being, Tale said, "Choose wisely."

"Alright, alright," Cell began, before suddenly there was a faint sound that was definitely not animal like, with Tale instantly on alert as he looked around. "What was that?"

"Very important!" Tale said with a hint of urgency. "Quickly, look for a-" He stopped as he and Cell saw a shiny Eevee similar to the one he had appear amongst the Eevees, walking among them.

"Oh my god, it's a shiny!" Cell exclaimed, surprised.

"Catch it!" Tale told Cell. "Quickly, before anyone else nabs it!"

"Uh, uh…" Cell was scrambling to pull out a Pokéball, before pulling out an Ultra Ball. "GO POKÉBALL!" Cell chucked that bitch straight at the shiny Eevee, smacking it upside the head before it flopped to the ground and entered the Ultra Ball. "Did I do it?!"

"Wait!" Tale ordered. "Be prepared to battle just in case-!" Tale was cut off by a click, signaling that the shiny Eevee was caught by Cell. "...today's your lucky day Cell."

"FUCK YEAH!" Cell shouted as all of the wild Eevees ran away, before grabbing the Pokéball of his freshly caught shiny Eevee. "Shiny Vaporeon, here I come!"

Tale pulled out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokéball to get an idea of the Eevee's stats. "Let's see…" Tale began. "...Male."

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Cell shouted at the top of his lungs, his luck (thankfully) running out.

"Quiet Nature," Tale continued, smiling at how Cell didn't catch a single female Pokémon. "Its Ability is Anticipation, and its moveset is Last Resort, Stored Power, Iron Tail, and Charm. Definitely gonna need to change most of that for Vaporeon, but that's fine." Tale looked at Cell. "Well, now I gotta brainstorm."

"You?" Cell questioned. "The fuck?"

"I am your Tutor," Tale reminded Cell, causing the Perfect being to nod in remembrance. "That, and it's in the script."

"Let me see that script!" Cell said, not buying what was in the script and believing it to be bullshit. Tale did hand Cell the script though, and Cell opened it once again. "...hilariously derailing one liner?"

"Anyways, tune in next time," Tale said to you, the readers, as he gave a peace sign.

Cell looked up from the script in shock. "Wait you can't just-!"
