The Water Flowers of Cerulean City, Part 2
Last time on Pokémon: Adventures in Kanto, Ash, Jake and their friends are about to head to their next destination in Cerulean City. Misty was against the idea of going there and attempts to convince them to go to another city, but to no avail. When they arrived, the group noticed that there was a robbery at a nearby store. Then, as Jake, Ash, and Green head to the Cerulean Gym, they meet three girls called the Sensational Sisters who claimed that they're the gym leaders. Unfortunately, they have no interest in battling Ash and Jake. When they attempt to give them Cascade Badges, Misty shows up to intervene and reveals a surprising secret.
"If you don't want to battle them, then I will!" said Misty
"Wait a minute! Misty, what's going on here? And, do you know these girls?" asked Jake in surprise as he gestures to the sisters
"Saur" said Bulbasaur
"Well, it's like this, Jake. The Cerulean Gym is my home. And these three girls are my sisters: Daisy, Violet, and Lily." Misty explained as she introduced her sisters
Ash, Jake, and Green gasped in surprised at this revelation
"I am the fourth Sensational Sister!" Misty claimed
"There are only three Sensational Sisters and one runt" corrected Lily. Misty growls in anger at this
"So, little sister. It's a surprise to see you back so soon" said Daisy
"That little girl with the big mouth who said she wouldn't come back til she was a great Pokémon trainer Wasn't that you?" teased Violet
"I guess I did say something like that when I left" said Misty nervously
"I guess we know why she was against coming to Cerulean City" Jake whispered to Ash as Green walks up next to them
"Misty, you left here pretending you want to become a Pokémon trainer because you couldn't compare with us. Because we're obviously more talented and beautiful than you are" said Lily much to Misty's annoyance
"Uh oh" said Ash
"That wasn't the reason!" yelled Misty
"Well then, I guess like you came back because you couldn't make it as a Pokémon trainer" said Daisy
This caused Bulbasaur to blink it's eyes at this
"It wasn't my idea to come back here! The only reason I'm here is because those two wanted to come!" said Misty as she pointed at Ash and Jake. This caused the boys to glare at her.
"Well, those two are totally not what I choose as boyfriends, but you're no prize yourself" teased Daisy
Hearing this caused Ash to fall over while Jake was shocked and took a step back. Green also heard this and puffed up her cheeks in anger.
"My Boyfriends! If I battle both of them, then I'll prove that I'm not a quitter and I'm just as good a trainer as you three!" Misty snapped
"Well... You are the only one of us with a Pokémon that can actually battle" said Daisy
"Alright, you two! Are you ready to rumble?!" Misty asked to Ash and Jake
The gym match begins. Jake and Misty were facing each other on the swimming pool on floating platforms. Bulbasaur was next to Jake on a platform. Ash and Green were watching on the sidelines. Ash was pouting that he didn't go first
"Why didn't I go first?" asked Ash
"Well, Jake did made a good point when he turned down getting the Cascade Badge just like that. And besides, you already went first back in the Pewter Gym" said Green
"I still should've went first" grumbled Ash
"Pika pika" said Pikachu as he looked at his trainer
"Okay, Jake. If you want that Cascade Badge, you'll have to battle me first!" called Misty
"I wouldn't want it any other way, Misty!" said Jake with a smirk. "So how should we do this?"
"Two against two" answered Misty
"Fine with me" said Jake as he turns to his Bulbasaur
"Get in there, Bulbasaur"
"Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur as it hopped on another platform
"That's a good choice. Grass Types are strong against Water Types" said Green
"Bulbasaur, huh? Misty calls Staryu" said Misty as she threw her Poké Ball.
A Starfish like Pokémon comes out. It has a red core on it's center
"A Staryu" said Jake
Ash takes out his Pokédex and scans Staryu
Ash's Pokédex: Staryu. The core of this Water Pokémon shines in a rainbow of seven colors, a core that is valued by some as a type of jewelry.
"Wow, leave it to a girl to show off her jewelry" said Ash
"I heard that!" called Misty
This causes Ash to flinch
"So, who goes first?" asked Jake
"Why don't you take the first shot, Jake?" Misty suggested
"Fine by me. Bulbasaur, Vine Whip attack now!" commanded Jake
Bulbasaur extends the vines from his bulb and shot it at Staryu
"Staryu dive in the water to dodge and then use Water Gun!" ordered Misty
Staryu dives underwater to avoid the Vine Whip attack and then comes back up on a platform and squirts Water Gun at Bulbasaur. It does little damage
"Bulbasaur shake off the Water Gun and Tackle Staryu" ordered Jake
Bulbasaur did what Jake said and tackled Staryu
"Now another Vine Whip" ordered Jake
Bulbasaur uses Vine Whip and hits Staryu which deals major damage. Staryu falls into the water. Misty gasped at this
"Staryu, get up and use Tackle again!" commanded Misty
Staryu heard Misty and swam through the water. It gets up from behind Bulbasaur, but Jake saw this
"Bulbasaur, behind you!"
Bulbasaur looks behind him only to get tackled Staryu which knocks him into the water
"No!" yelled Jake
"Good job, Staryu" said Misty
"Quick buddy, use your vines to get back on the platform" instructed Jake
Bulbasaur shoots it's vines on the platform and is about to get up
"Oh no you don't! Staryu use Water Gun! Don't let Bulbasaur get up!" yelled Misty
Staryu prepares to shoot Water Gun at Bulbasaur
"Growl, Bulbasaur!" Jake said quickly
Bulbasaur growled at Staryu which caused it to halt it's attack. Bulbasaur got back on the platform
"Now Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip to grab Staryu" ordered Jake
Bulbasaur did what Jake said and uses his vines to wrap up Staryu. Misty gasped
"Now throw Staryu in the air and then use Tackle!" ordered Jake
Bulbasaur hurls Staryu in the air. And just when Staryu falls back down, Bulbasaur leaps into the air and tackles Staryu very hard. Staryu then lands on the platform with a swirl on it's core.
"Staryu!" cried Misty as Bulbasaur lands on the platform
"Good work, buddy!" Jake said to Bulbasaur
"Alright! Jake took down one of Misty's Pokémon" said Green with a smile
"You're doing good, buddy. Keep it up!" Ash called to his friend
"Pika pi!" said Pikachu
"I guess Misty has gotten rusty over her travels" said Violet
"Totally" added Lily
Misty recalls Staryu back to it's Poké Ball.
"Return Staryu. Thanks for battling so hard. Take a rest" she said
She then turns to Jake
"Well, Jake. I have to admit. You're not so bad. But now you'll face my last Pokémon. Misty calls Starmie!" Misty said as she throws another Poké Ball. Out came a purple star shaped Pokémon.
"A Starmie" said Jake as he takes out his Pokédex
Jake's Pokédex: Starmie, the Mysterious Pokémon and the evolved form of Staryu. The center section is named the core. People think it is communicating when it glows in 7 colors.
"Wow. Another Pokémon related to jewelry" muttered Ash
Jake puts his Pokédex away and looks at his starter.
"Wanna keep going, buddy?" he asked
"Bulbasaur" Bulbasar said nodding it's head
"Okay then. Looks like I'm keeping Bulbasaur in" Jake replied
"Well then. Let the second battle begin" said Misty
"Bulbasaur, Tackle attack!" ordered Jake
Bulbasaur jumps at Starmie
"Into the water, Starmie!" said Misty
Starmie dives into the water to avoid Bulbasaur's attack.
"Starmie could be anywhere, Bulbasaur. Keep your eyes peeled" Jake said to Bulbasaur
Bulbasaur looked around the pool to see if Starmie is around.
"Starmie, Tackle!" Misty ordered
Starmie then appeared behind Bulbasaur and begins to charge
"Bulbasaur, watch out!" yelled Jake
Bulbasaur turned to see Starmie coming at him and leaps out of the way
"Now Bulbasaur, Vine Whip!" ordered Jake
Bulbasaur shot its vines and hits Starmie several times. Starmie then fell into the water.
"It's gonna take a lot more than that to keep us down, Jake! Starmie, another Tackle!" ordered Misty
"Starmie shot of the water and charges at Bulbasaur. This time, Starmie hits Bulbasaur which causes it to sink in the water. Ash, Jake, and Green gasped at this.
"Bulbasaur, get out of there!" yelled Jake
"Starmie, tackle Bulbasaur underwater!" commanded Misty
As Bulbasaur attempts to swim back up to the surface, Staryu charges at it underwater. Bulbasaur tries to swim up faster, but gets hit by Staryu which sends Bulbasaur flying out of the water and landing on the platform near Jake.
"Bulbasaur!" cried Jake as he jumped on the platform where Bulbasaur is
He picks up Bulbasaur to see that his partner is defeated
"Alright! Good job, Starmie!" Misty praised her Pokémon
"You okay, buddy?" Jake asked
"Saur" Bulbasaur replied. Jake smiles
"Thanks for battling. I think you deserve a rest" he said as he placed Bulbasaur next to him
"Come on, Jake" Green said in worry
The three sisters then notices Green and begins to whisper among themselves
"What do think, girls?" asked Violet
"Oh yeah. She is definitely crushing on him" whispered Daisy
"She must be if she's worried about that boy" added Lily
Green had somehow overheard their whispering. She couldn't help but blushed at that.
Jake then takes out another Poké Ball.
"Pikachu, your up!"
Jake throws the Poké Ball and his Pikachu comes out and lands on a platform
"Pika pika!" said Jake's Pikachu as she got ready to battle
"Of course. Electric type attacks are also strong against Water types" said Green
"You sure know a lot about type advantages, Green" Ash said
"That's because I read, Ash" answered Green
Ash widens his eyes at this. It seems as though Green and Jake have a lot more in common than he thought.
"Pikachu!" said Ash's Pikachu as he cheered for Jake's Pikachu
"Pikachu, huh? Starmie, use Water Gun" said Misty with a smirk
Starmie shoots Water Gun at Jake's Pikachu
"Pikachu, dodge and use Thunder Shock!" commanded Jake
Jake's Pikachu dodges and starts to use Thunder Shock
"Quick Starmie. Into the water!" ordered Misty
Starmie dives into the water before the Thundershock hits it. Jake's Pikachu begins to look around to keep an eye on Starmie. Just then, Starmie leaps out of the water behind her.
"Starmie, another Water Gun!" Misty commanded
"Pikachu, dodge again!" yelled Jake
Jake's Pikachu dodges the Water Gun. Starmie then goes back in the water.
"Starmie, use Tackle!" yelled Misty
Starmie then gets up from the water and charges at Jake's Pikachu
"Pikachu, use Slam!" ordered Jake
Just as Starmie got closer, Jake's Pikachu slams against Starmie which sends it in the water.
"Starmie, pull yourself together" said Misty as Starmie rises up from the surface
"Okay Pikachu, Thundershock attack!" Jake ordered
Pikachu unleashes Thundershock
"Dive in the water to dodge, Starmie!" commanded Misty
Starmie dodges in the water to avoid the attack
'It's no good. It seems as though Water Pokémon have the advantage when they're in the water. There's no way I could land an attack. Wait a minute. What if I used an Electric attack on the water' thought Jake as he gets an idea
"Pikachu, use Thundershock on the water!"
"What!?" shouted Misty in shock
Jake's Pikachu did as her trainer commanded and used Thundershock on the water. Underwater, Starmie took major damage as it got zapped
"Wow. Jake is playing it smart. Water conducts electricity" said Green proudly
"You go, Jake!" Ash called to his friend
"Pikachu!" said Ash's Pikachu to the female Pikachu
Just as the attack finished. Starmie comes up to the surface with a swirl on it's core
"Starmie!" yelled Misty
"Looks like I win. Good work, Pikachu!" said Jake as he praised his Pikachu
"Bulbasaur!" added Bulbasaur with a smile
"Pika pika" said his Pikachu as she gives him a thumbs up
Misty smiles and holds up a Poké Ball
"Return Starmie. Thanks for working so hard. You deserve a rest" she said
Misty then looks at Jake
"Well Jake. I must admit. You were really clever in our battle. And you even played it smart too"
"Thanks for that, Misty." said Jake as he picked up Bulbasaur and he and his Pikachu left the field.
"That was awesome, Jake. Now it's my turn to battle you, Misty!" said Ash as he looks at Misty
"Okay, Ash. But right after I rest up my Pokémon" replied Misty
Now it was Ash's turn to battle Misty. They were facing each other on the pool while Jake and Green along with Bulbasaur and Jake's Pikachu watch from the side
"I wasn't planning on challenging you til you paid me back for my bike, but this is as good as time as any! If you want that Cascade Badge like Jake, then you're gonna have to beat me!" yelled Misty
"Seriously, what is Misty talking about?" asked Green
"Well, let's just say that Ash's Pikachu burned her bike when me and Ash first started our journey. Because of that, she won't leave us alone until Ash pays her back" replied Jake
"Really?" Green asked with a frown
"It would be my pleasure. Pikachu, this one's gonna be a peace of cake. If Jake can beat Misty, then so can I." said Ash with confidence. Pikachu felt reluctant
"So how many Pokémon?" he asked
"We'll use the same rules I used for Jake. Two against two" replied Misty
"You got it! Alright, Pikachu, I choose you!" Ash said as he attempts to sent his Pikachu into battle. But his Pikachu held onto his arm and refuse to battle
Jake, Bulbasaur, and Green were surprised at this. Even Jake's Pikachu was surprised at his hesitance. Ash's Pikachu then drops to the platform
"Pikachu, what are you doing?!" Ash asked
"Chu chu" responded his Pikachu as he points at Misty and shook his head
"Oh what? Are you saying you don't want to battle Misty?" Ash asked to which his Pikachu nods his head
"Oh boy" said Jake as he and Green sweat dropped
"Chu" said Jake's Pikachu as she facepalmed at Ash's Pikachu's decision
"Saur" said Bulbasaur shaking it's head
"Well, I guess it's okay if you don't want to battle a friend" said Ash understandably
"Pikachu, you're a Pika-pal!" Misty called out. This made Ash's Pikachu brighten up
"Thanks a lot, Pikachu" grumbled Ash as he takes out another Poké Ball and enlarges it. He then turns his cap backwards and throws it.
"Butterfree, I choose you!"
His Butterfree comes out.
"Well in that case, Misty calls Staryu!" Misty said as she throws her Poké Ball and her Staryu comes out.
"Like I said, leave it to a girl to show off her jewelry" muttered Ash
"Hey! Quite stalling and let's get this battle on the road!" demanded Misty
"Do you think Misty can really win?" asked Violet
"Like, in her dreams, maybe" replied Lily
"Seel, seel" said Seel
"Butterfree, you can blow that thing away with one blast! Tackle it!" ordered Ash
Butterfree charges at Staryu and tackles it knocking it down
"Staryu, Counter attack!" ordered Misty
Staryu jumps up and begins to spin as it heads to Butterfee
"Butterfree, dodge!" yelled Ash
Butterfree flew higher in the air while Staryu landed on a platform and almost lost it's balance. Butterfree then flies in and begins to do several Tackle attacks on Staryu.
"Ha ha! I'm gonna win this." said Ash
"Staryu, Water Gun!" commanded Misty
Staryu jumps into the water and fires Water Gun. The attack hits Butterfree and nearly knocked it off balance. Staryu then hops on the platform and begins to shoot several Water Gun attacks. Butterfree dodges them all.
"In that case, Stun Spore now!" yelled Ash
Butterfree sprinkled Stun Spore on Staryu which makes it wince
"Oh no! Staryu looks like it's in real pain!" Misty yelled
"It doesn't even have a face. How can you tell?" Ash asked
"Because I'm sensitive to other's feelings! That's how!" Misty yelled back
"Oh yeah! Like I'm not!" argued Ash
Jake and Green couldn't help but sweat drop at their argument while Bulbasaur shook it's head at it. Seel then begins to clap much to the Sensational Sisters' confusion.
"Who's side are you clapping for?" Violet asked
"Staryu, wash it off!" Misty commanded
Staryu did what Misty said and fell into the pool. After washing the Stun Spore off, Staryu comes back up fully recovered
"Yay! Too bad! You didn't know that Stun Spore doesn't work if you wash it off with water!" bragged Misty
"She's got him there" commented Jake nervously
Meanwhile, Ash was annoyed
"She thinks she knows everything. Butterfree, Sleep Powder!" he commanded
Butterfree sprinkles Sleep Powder on Staryu, but Staryu jumps in the water to avoid feeliing the affect.
"Tackle it from underwater!" ordered Misty
Staryu did just that and flew up from the water and hits Butterfree. Butterfree struggles as it tries to dodge Staryu's attacks. Misty smiles at this
"If Staryu can get Butterfree underwater, I win! Water Pokémon always have the edge in the water!" said Misty as she laughs
Jake and Green both sweat drop at this
"Someone sure is confident" said Jake
"Yeah. A little overconfident if you ask me" added Green
"Pika pika" Jake's Pikachu agreed with them as Bulbasaur nods it's head
Ash's Pikachu nods it's head at what Misty is saying.
"Pikachu, your suppose to be on my side!" Ash protested which makes his Pikachu stop
The Sensational Sisters were smiling as they see their younger sister faring better.
"Misty is like totally awesome" said Daisy
"Well, we three got the good looks in the family. So I guess she's had to get some talent" added Lily
Staryu then goes up and tackles Butterfree which knocks him into the water. Butterfree comes up and struggles to stay afloat.
"Butterfree, return!" said Ash as he recalls Butterfree to his Poké Ball and takes out another Poké Ball. "Pidgeotto, I choose you!"
He throws the Poké Ball and Pidgeotto comes out
"Oh yeah! Staryu, return!" Misty said as she recalls Staryu and takes out another Poké Ball. "Misty calls Starmie!"
She throws her Poké Ball and lets out Starmie
"Pidgeotto, Whirlwind it away!" commanded Ash
Pidgeotto unleashes Whirlwind at Starmie. Starmie struggles to hold on.
"Dive under then up!" Misty commanded
Starmie dives underwater and then comes up spinning. Starmie hits Pidgeotto which nearly knocks it off balance
"Strike back with Wing Attack!" ordered Ash
Just as Starmie is spinning at Pideotto, the bird Pokémon used it's wings to hit it. Starmie was send flying into the water, but it comes back up spinning and hits Pidgeotto again.
"Give it a Gust to blow it away!" Ash ordered
Pidgeotto begins to flap it's wings very fast as Starmie came near. The gust was so strong, that it blew Starmie away. Starmie then crashed into a wall and slid down.
"Starmie!" Misty yelled as Starmie's core begins to blink "Oh no! Starmie's energy is just about to run out!"
"You got her, Ash!" Jake called
"Bulbasaur" said Bulbasaur
"Alright Pidgeotto. Let's get that trainer badge!" Ash said
But before the match can continue further, a rumbling was heard much to everyone's surprise
"What's going on?!" asked Green in surprise
"I don't know!" answered Jake
Suddenly, a machine crashed through the walls of the gym. And a familiar trio comes out
"Check out that hair" scoffed Violet
"Like, who invited the party crashers?" asked Daisy
As Jake and Green got ready to battle, Misty, Ash, and Pikachu join up with them.
"Sorry to break in on you ladies"
"Allow us to introduce ourselves"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!"
"Team Rocket!" yelled Green as she narrowed her eyes
"How dare you interrupt this match!?" yelled Jake in fury
"Bulbasaur!" growled Bulbasaur
"Pika" hissed Jake's Pikachu
"Oh we dare. The Water Pokémon have the advantage..." James began
"But if we steal that water away..." started Jessie
"The Pokémon are ours for the taking" finished James
"And Meowth knows just how to do it!" said Meowth as he controlled a vacuum and put it in the water
"What are they trying to prove?" asked Daisy in annoyance
The vacuum then begins to suck all the water in the pool
"A massive vacuum and a giant hose" Ash said. He, Jake, and Green gasped at the revelation
"It was them! Team Rocket was behind the robbery in that store back there!" said Jake
"Yeah. It was to get all the Pokémon here!" added Green
"Our swimming pool!" shouted Daisy
"They're sucking it dry!" yelled Misty
"That's our water!" protested Lily
"Right. I should give it back" said Meowth as he pulled the lever to have the hose shoot water at their enemies.
"Uh oh!" gulped Jake
The water washed everyone away.
"We got to protect the Pokémon" said Misty as she was caught in the current.
"Like, what about my hair?!" complained Violet
As he was caught in the current, Jake sees his Pokémon being swept away. He swims over and grabs them both. Green struggles not to drown.
"Alright, now to suck them up!" said Meowth as he had the hose suck up the water again. He intends to suck up all the Pokémon with it. Seel cried out as it was being sucked in
"Come back, Seel!" yelled Violet as she watches it being vacuumed up
Meanwhile, Jake, his Pokémon, and Green were recovering from being washed away.
"Are you guys okay?" Jake asked
"Saur" responded Bulbasaur
"Pika" said his Pikachu
"I'm okay, Jake. But I'm soaked" answered Green
"Me too. Wait. What about, Ash?" said Jake as he looks to his best friend.
Ash had just recovered from being washed ashore as well. Unfortunately, his Pikachu got caught in the current and is being sucked in as well. Ash, Jake, and Green gasped while Jake's Pikachu cries out as she saw Ash's Pikachu get swept away
"Pikachu! Wait a second. Water conducts electricity. Just like the way Jake did it. Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash called out
Pikachu heard his trainer and unleashes Thunderbolt which unleashes zaps, the water, the machine, and the Team Rocket trio
"Wow" said Green
"Looks like Ash learned something from watching my battle with Misty" said Jake
"It's times like these, that makes me want to go straight" James said
The trio then fell into the water and gets sucked in
"Now I know how it feels to be washed up" James continued
"We'll never come clean" added Jessie
The trio screamed as they got sucked in, and sent flying into the air
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" they shouted as they flew out of sight
Back in the Cerulean Gym, Pikachu was still being sucked in by the machine.
"Cha!" he cried
"Oh no!" cried Daisy
"Pikachu!" yelled Misty
"Ash! The machine!" Jake said to Ash
"Right!" said Ash as he made a break for the machine
Just as his Pikachu was being sucked in, Ash jumped on the machine
"Pikachu!" Ash yelled as he pulled the lever.
The hose then releases all the water and Pikachu. As Pikachu fell down, Daisy catches him in her arms.
"Pikachu" said Pikachu as everyone sighed in relief
Although Team Rocket has been defeated, both Ash and Misty both still had their match to finish despite the mess.
"Hey, we never got to finish our match" reminded Misty
"Yeah. And I was just about to win it too." added Ash
"Wha?" asked Misty in bewilderment
"And Ash would've won, if Team Rocket hadn't interfered" said Jake
"Saur saur" said his Bulbsaur
"Pika" said his Pikachu
Green nods her head
"Well, you could say that your match had to be postponed like due to drain" said Violet
"At least nobody lost" added Lily
"I wanted to win!" complained Misty
"I guess I'm not gonna get that Cascade Badge" said Ash sadly. Daisy then steps up to him and Jake
"Wrong. We're giving this badge to you and your friend" said Daisy as she held up two Cascade Badges for both of the boys
"How come he gets the badge?! He didn't win the battle like Jake did?!" Misty complained
"Pikachu was the one that like, totally saved us all. And if you used Pikachu from the start, there was no way your Water Pokémon would've won" explained Daisy
"Your sister has a point, Misty" said Green
"Aw man" said Misty
Jake accepted the badge from Daisy. Daisy then gives the badge to Ash
"Take the badge, Ash. You deserve it" she said to him
"Gee. Thanks. I'll take it!" said Ash as he accepts it
"Cha!" said his Pikachu
"Well buddy. We got our second badge" Jake said
"We sure did, Jake. And we'll continue to get stronger together" Ash said
"I couldn't agree more" Jake replied as the two friends hi-fived each other
"Bulbasaur" said Bulbasaur
"Pikachu" said Jake's Pikachu
The girls all smiled at them.
As the sun was setting, it was time for the friends to hit the road. Misty was saying goodbye to her sisters.
"Misty. You just go right on to be a Pokémon trainer. You might as well be good at something. Cause you'll never be stars like us" said Lily as she teased Misty
"You keep that up, and you'll be seein stars!" shouted Misty in irritation
"Chill out" said Violet
"Misty, be careful. We know we love you" added Daisy
"Yeah" said Misty with a smile
The three friends then smile at this as well. Brock then runs in
"Hey guys!" he yelled
"Yo, Brocko!" greeted Ash
"How'd it go?" Brock ask
"We both won, Brock" Jake answered
"Yeah. See for yourself" said Ash as he and Jake both showed their Cascade Badges
"Cool. Let's go!" said Brock as he started down the road.
"Right" said Ash as he, Jake, Green, along with his Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Jake's Pikachu follow after him.
"You're not leaving without me!" yelled Misty as she quickly caught up with them
"Misty, you're not gonna be a sore loser are you?" asked Ash
"I didn't lose anything! It was a draw!" Misty yelled back
"Well, I'm the one who got the badge! Even Jake got the badge too" Ash spat back
"What?! You know you lost with Butterfree! Even though Jake lost one Pokémon, he still won!" Misty retorted
"That was just round one! I made a great comeback!" yelled Ash
"If Team Rocket hadn't bust in, I would've destroyed you!" retorted Misty
"You're lucky they showed up, you were about to lose!" Ash countered
"Lose?! I was just getting warmed up!" Misty yelled
"Oh yeah?!" Ash asked
"Oh yeah!" Misty answered
"Are they going to keep arguing like this?" Green asked with a groan
"Don't worry. I'm sure they'll stop eventually" answered Jake
"Bulbasaur" said Bulbasaur as it shook it's head
The group then started down the road to their next destination.
