Tentacool & Tentacruel
"Blue skies" Ash said
"White clouds" Brock added
"And sea as far as you can see" Misty added
"Unless you count that construction site over there" Jake said as he looks at a construction site at a distance
"And the boats. Any one of them can help us out if we got here on time" Green added
"Yeah, I wish that ship can take us off this island" Ash sighed as he saw a ship sail by
After their day at the beach, our heroes are at the docks and have somehow miss the boat. They will have to wait a very long time for another one to come. Ash lies on his back as they wait
'This is gonna take a while' thought Jake
Pikachu and Bulbasaur were observing the water as they wait for the next boat. They then spotted something
"Pika chu chu!"
"Saur saur!"
They called to the others as they pointed forward
"What is it you two?" Jake asked
Misty also looks forward and notices something
"Oh look! It's a Horsea! How cute!" she exclaimed
"Huh? Where?" Ash asked as he sits back up
"Right over there" Jake said as he points out to sea
The gang looks to see a Horsea watching them in the water
"Hey! I'll just get Dexter to tell me about it" Ash said as he got out his Pokédex
Ash's Pokédex: Horsea, a Dragon Pokémon. In this unique Pokémon species, thousands of Eggs hatch every spring, and then the male raises them himself.
"It looks like it's injured" Brock said
"I can tell." Green added as she notices Horsea's black eye
"And there's no Pokémon Center around" Misty said sadly as she holds up a Poké Ball "I know what"
Just then, Horsea turns and spits ink from it's snout. It seems to have form a picture of two different Pokémon
"Horsea Horsea"
"It's saying something" Ash said
"But what does it mean?" Green asked
"I think Horsea is trying to warn us about the pictures that it drew. Those pictures are of Tentacool and it's evolved form Tentacruel" Jake said
"You saw their pictures in a book right?" asked Ash
Jake nods his head in response
"We'll have to take care of it's wounds first. I'll capture it in my Poké Ball" Misty said
But before she can do so, the gang suddenly felt an explosion. They watched to see that a boat has blown up
"On no! The boat!" Brock yelled
"And those sailors are in trouble!" added Jake
They watched as some sailors begin to abandon ship
"I wonder what's happening!" Ash said
"We've gotta act fast!" Misty yelled. "My Water Pokémon can help those people! Staryu, Starmie, Goldeen, go!"
She lets them all out of their Poké Balls
"We'll help too! Vaporeon, let's do this!" Jake said as he lets his Vaporeon out
"Squirtle, come on out!" Green said as she lets out her Squirtle
All of the Water Pokémon then swim off to rescue the sailors
"I didn't know you can do that" Ash said
"Don't just stand there! Go look for a boat to help them!" Misty ordered
"You heard her. We got people to rescue!" Green said
"Right" Ash and Brock said as they and Jake run off to get a boat
Staryu, Starmie, Goldee, Vaporeon, and Squirtle did their part to rescue all of the sailors. The gang were driving a boat towards them
"This way! Carry them all to our boat!" Misty called out to them
The Water Pokémon did what she commanded and brought the sailors to the boat. Meanwhile, the Horsea was watching this from under a pier. In the water, two Pokémon rose up from the water. They both have three red dots on their heads they were watching the boat drive away.
"Tentacool?" said one of them
"Tentacool" the other one said to the other
The two Tentacool then sunk down to the water. Back on the boat, the gang were talking to one of the sailors
"It's terrible! Terrible!" the sailor cried
"He looks like he's paralyzed." Ash said
"What happened out there, sir?" Green asked
"The boss! I gotta tell the boss what happened!" the sailor said
"The boss? Who is he?" Jake asked as they sped off
The gang were then brought inside a building where they meet a woman who appears to be the sailor's boss
"I'm the boss! Nastina!" the woman yelled
The gang were shocked by the woman's appearance. By looking at her, the woman looks exactly identical to Brutella
'She must be related to her' thought Jake
"I understand that you helped save the men on my ship. Thank you very much! Ha ha ha!" laughed Nastina
"You're very welcome. I wonder if you could give us a ride to the mainland." Ash said
"Yeah. We need to get off Porta Vista so we can get back on track on our journey" Jake added
"You don't think you're gonna get away that fast, do ya?! Not till you see my new resort!" Nastina yelled
"Resort?" asked Ash
"It's not finished, but it'll be spectacular! The world's biggest luxury resort!" Nastina claimed as she looks at a nearby model of an amusement park
"Is that what the construction site out on the sea is for?" Green asked
"Yes. That's it! That's Nastina's Paradise! A super luxury hotel, the hotel to end all hotels! It'll have hundreds of luxurious suites, surrounded by the world's most beautiful coral reef! But only if those Tentacool stop interfering with construction." Nastina grumbled
"The Tentacool?" Misty asked
"I get it! The Tentacool paralyzed your sailors." Brock said
"Because of those Tentacool, all the tourists have been staying away from here! I don't know why such despicable creatures even exist!" Nastina said
"Did you say despicable?!" Misty asked angrily
"They're disgusting! You can't even eat them! And they're hurting my profits!" Nastina claimed
Jake begins to glare at what the old woman was saying about the Tentacool.
"I was hoping the lot of you might be able to help me take care of my little problem. Do you have the skills to handle a Tentacool extermination project?" Nastina asked
This left the group confused
"Huh?"
"Of course, I'll pay you well" Nastina said as her servants uncover a curtain to reveal a table of food
"Whoa!" Brock, Ash, and Green said
Only Misty was not swayed by it while Jake glared at this.
"If you succeed, you'll get world class all you can eat luxury dinners for one year" Nastina said as her servants uncovers another curtain to reveal a million dollars. "One million dollars in cash, and vouchers for free stays at the hotel!"
"Yeah!" Ash yelled as he begins to run towards the curtain, but the servants cover it back up
"First, you have to exterminate the Tentacool. Every last one! Then I'll pay the reward." Nastina said
This caused Pikachu and Bulbasaur feel said about this. But Misty was starting to lose her temper as Nastina said that.
"That's disgusting!" she bellowed
Nastina was sent flying into her servants
"Misty is right, Nastina! We may be Pokémon trainers, but we will not harm these Pokémon for your own personal gain! Find someone else to do your dirty work! Come on guys. Let's get out of here." Jake said as he and Bulbasaur head to the exit
"Right behind you, Jake" Misty said as she follows after him
"Jake, Misty!" Ash said as he, Brock, Green, and Pikachu follow after them
"There's some people that can't be bought!" grumbled Nastina as she watches them leave
Jake, Misty, and Bulbasaur were walking through Porta Vista while the others were following behind.
"Hey, wait up!" Ash called
"What are you two so mad about?" Brock called
"Doesn't that old woman make you sick?" Misty asked
"Well, she's not really my type, but.." Ash began
"That's not the point, Ash! Nastina wants to exterminate the Tentacool!" Jake yelled
"Saur!" Bulbasaur said
"Huh?" Ash and Brock puzzled
"Is that why you two were so mad at Nastina?" Green asked
"Yes, Green. And besides, the Tentacool are all so cute" Misty said dreamily
"They're cute?" Ash asked as he takes out his Pokédex
Ash's Pokédex: Tentacool, a Jellyfish Pokémon. 99% of its body is made up of water.
"Ugly" Ash said in disgust
"I guess ugly is in the eye of the beholder." Brock added
"No wonder Nastina said that you can't eat them" Green said
"If Tentacool are attacking humans, then there must be a very good reason for it!" Misty said
"Do you really think so?" Ash asked
"Of course. Pokémon have as much right as we humans do! They can't attack without reason" Jake pointed out
Green smiled at this
"Yeah. Tentacool are so squishy and nice when you hold them, and they call the pretty red spot on their head the ruby of the sea." Misty said dreamily
"Who calls it that?" Brock asked
"If were to guess. Almost every sailor does when they come across them" Jake said
"When you talk about water Pokémon, it's like you get a different personality." Ash said
"She is a Water expert after all" Green replied as she shrugs her shoulders
"I don't understand why you can't see their charm. Water Pokémon are so beautiful and have such depth, like that Horsea we saw. It was a talented artist." Misty said with a sigh
"I think she's talking about the pictures that it drew" Green said as she recalled their meeting with the Horsea
"Yeah" Jake said with a nod
A few minutes later, Pikachu and Horsea were at a mini pool. Pikachu was floating on a life preserver while drinking a drink.
"Horsea!" Misty called as she and the others run up to them. Horsea smiles as it saw Misty coming up to the pool
"How do you feel? Are you okay?" Misty asked as she kneels down to Horsea
"The Super Potion seems to be working." Brock said
"I know. Horsea looks all better" Green added
"Saur saur" Bulbasaur said as it nods it's head
"Thank goodness" Misty said as she hugged Horsea
"They're really communicating." Ash said
"I guess that's what it means when you're a Water Pokémon trainer" Jake replied
Unbeknownst to the them, the two Tentacools from earlier rose up to the surface and watched them. They were surprised to see Misty hugging Horsea.
Horsea then frowns and begins to say something to Misty
"Huh? What is it? What are you trying to say?" she asked
"Horsea" Horsea replied
"Hey Jake. Didn't you say that the pictures that Horsea drew were of Tentacool and it's evolved form Tentacruel?" Ash asked Jake
"I did. And I also believed that Horsea drew them to warn us about the Tentacool" Jake replied
"Not to mention the reason why the sailors on the boat were attacked out on the sea" Green said
"Is that right, Horsea?" Misty asked
Horsea nods it's head to say that they are right. Just then, the announcement system on Porta Vista turned on
"Citizens of Porta Vista, listen up!" Nastina's voice said through the speakers
"Nastina!" shouted Ash and Jake
"Effective immediately, I am recruiting volunteers to exterminate the Tentacool terrorizing our town." Nastina continued
"Exterminate!?" shouted Misty
The two Tentacool were shocked as they listen to the announcement
"I will award one million dollars to anyone who can exterminate the Tentacool. Isn't Nastina generous?" Nastina announced as she was speaking from her office
"I can't believe Nastina would go this far to get rid of the Tentacool!" Green said with disgust
"All for the sake of building her hotel!" Jake added
"Saur saur saur!" Bulbasaur said in disgust
"She'll do anything to destroy them!" Brock said
"Anyone who wants money, I mean, wants to help the development of our town, come to the yacht harbor immediately!" Nastina announced
The two Tentacool look at each other and then ducks back underwater to avoid getting caught.
"She expects to get people to destroy the Tentacool for money? Ridiculous!" scoffed Misty
Jake widens his eyes as he saw something ahead
"Tell them that!" he yelled as he points forward
The gang saw a mob of people running towards them
"It's a stampede!" Green yelled
"Look out!" Jake yelled
Jake, Green, and Bulbasaur quickly got out of the way while Horsea gets out of Misty's grip and escapes. Unfortunately, Ash, Misty, and Brock end up getting trampled by the crowd. The crowd all calling out to Nastina since they want the money she was offering. Then a tank drives over and Nastina comes out of it while wearing a military uniform.
"Alright! Which one of you is going to win the one million dollar reward?" Nastina asked through a megaphone
Jake, Green, and Bulbasaur begins to fight their way through the crowd to get to the front. As they were doing that, a suction cup with a rose hits the tank much to Nastina's surprise. Ash, Jake, Green, and Bulbasaur make it to the front when they see a boat with three familiar trio on it.
"Who is that?" Nastina asked
'Here we go' thought Jake as he knows what comes next
"Prepare for troube!"
"Make it doube!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!"
"Hey! They got a lot of spunk!" Nastina said impressed
"That's a new definition of spunk." Ash replied
"I'll say" Jake added
"Saur" Bulbasaur said with a sweat drop
Jessie and James begin to take notice of Nastina's looks
"Look at that hair!" Jessie said
"Disaster!" James added
But as they say that, they get blasted by Nastina's tank
"I don't need your beauty tips! I need to get rid of Tentacool!" Nastina snapped
"It's a very distinctive style, just don't shoot!" Jessie said frantically
"You mean, di-stink-tive." Meowth said quietly
"We are terribly sorry." Jessie apologized
"Yes, very sorry. Please, leave your little Tentacool extermination project to Team Rocket." James added
"This crew might just pull it off." Nastina said with a chuckle
"I don't like where this is going" Green said
"You and me both" Jake added
"We sure will, Nastina." Jessie said
"Sounds good. If you exterminate the Tentacool completely, the million bucks is yours! Isn't Nastina generous?" Nastina asked while striking a pose with her servants
"Yes, we heard you the first time." Jessie said
"Just get the dough ready for us." Meowth added
And with that, the Team Rocket trio sped off on their boat.
"Pika pika" muttered Ash's Pikachu
"Saur" added Bulbasaur
"They're disrespecting the ocean." Misty said sadly
"Huh?" Ash puzzled
"What do you expect from both Team Rocket and Nastina? They are both doing it out of greed and selfish intents. Don't they realize that their actions have consequences" Jake said angrily
"Yeah. This could harm both the water and the Pokémon living there" Green added
Meanwhile, the two Tentacools, having overheard Team Rocket and Nastina's conversation, begins to swim after them. Back with the gang, they continue to watch Team Rocket going out on the sea on their boat. Just then, they see the boat being pushed back and a bunch of lights on the water.
"T.. T.. T.. Tentacool!" The Team Rocket trio shouted
" All of those things are Tentacool?!" Ash asked
"They sure are. From a distance, you can see their rubies flashing" Jake said
"There's like a million of them out there" Green said in shock
The two Tentacools came to the boat and witnessed a swarm of their own kind surrounding the boat.
"Dump the Stun Sauce! Dump the Stun Sauce!" Meowth ordered
"We don't have enough of it!" Jessie yelled
"There must be ten thousand of them!" James added
Just then, one of the Tentacools blast a laser from it's ruby and destroys the boat. As the Team Rocket trio was sent flying, a barrel fell on the Tentacool that attacked them. Suddenly, the Tentacool begins to evolve into a giant Tentacruel. The gang scream as they saw the Tentacruel. Even the two Tentacools were shocked at the evolution.
"We supersized it!" Jessie screamed as she and her comrades were caught in the giant Tentacruel's tentacle
The giant Tentacruel then begins to attack the construction site.
"What happened!?" yelled Green
"Whatever was in that barrel must've caused one of the Tentacools to evolve into Tentacruel. A giant Tentacruel by the looks of it" Jake said
"Saur!" Bulbasaur said in shock
"This is impossible! Even at it's greatest height, Tentacruel shouldn't be more than seven feet tall!" Brock said
Ash takes out his Pokédex and scans Tentacruel
Ash's Pokédex: Tentacruel, a Jellyfish Pokémon. An evolved form of the Tentacool. Its numerous tentacles serve as a powerful weapon. It is known as "The Gangster of the Sea."
"I guess the giant Tentacruel must be the gang leader" Green said fearfully
"It sure looks that way" Jake said
"Oh no! Tentacruel's in trouble!" Misty shouted
"How dare that thing crush my hotel! Commence fire!" Nastina ordered
On cue, the servants shot their bazookas at Tentacruel as their boss shot at Tentacruel with her tank
"Are they trying to shoot at Tentacruel?!" Green asked in shock
"They are. This is no way to treat a Pokémon!" Jake said in absolute disgust
The bullets flew at Tentacruel, but it bounces off it's body. Although it didn't hurt Tentacruel, it got it's attention
"Leave my hotel alone!" Nastina bellowed
Suddenly, all the Tentacools begin to walk on land which scares Nastina and walking all over her servants. Only the two Tentacools remained in the water as they were not part of the swarm. Tentacruel then begins to swim towards the docks of Porta Vista.
"We gotta try to protect Tentacruel!" Misty yelled
"But there's gonna be a tidal wave!" Ash said
"Ash is right. We'll worry about Tentacruel later. Right now we have to get inside before we're swept away" Jake added
"Let's go!" Green said as they all ran away.
Tentacruel then arrived at Porta Vista and brings a tidal wave nearly washing some of the citizens away as the invading Tentacools were in the water. Tentacruel then throws a steel structure at Nastina's amusement park, destroying it in the process. Nastina saw this through a pair of binoculars.
"Oh! It's a good thing I just got that insured! That's the last straw, Tentacruel! I'm coming after ya!" she yelled as she begins shooting a gun in the air
Just then, a massive tidal wave swept Nastina and her servants away. From inside an Ocean View Lookout, the gang witnessed Tentacruel's rampage
"So this is what that Horsea was trying to warn us about earlier!" Brock said
"And it seems to have escalated" Green added in worry
"I don't understand! Why would they do such a thing? Now everyone will be against them!" Misty said sadly
Outside, the Tentacool begins to shoot their lasers at some buildings. The two Tentacools were shocked at what the swarm was doing. Back inside the building...
"Pikachu, do something" Ash said to his Pikachu
But seeing the giant Tentacruel smash a nearby building terrifies Pikachu
"I don't think Pikachu is up to it, Ash" Jake said
"You're right. There's no way Pikachu could battle against something that big." Ash said
"Do you want to fight Tentacruel, Bulbasaur" Jake asked his starter
Bulbasaur responds by shaking it's head
"I guess that answers that" Jake said
"Just leave this to me!" Misty said
"What are you going to do, Misty?" Green asked
"I'm going to try to talk to Tentacruel" Misty replied
But before she can go off...
"Look up there!" Brock said
The gang look to see Meowth in Tentacruel's tentacles
"Isn't that Meowth from Team Rocket?" asked Green
"It sure is. But what does Tentacruel want with him?" Jake wondered
Then, something weird happened. A Tentacool latched onto Meowth's head which takes over his mind so that Tentacruel can communicate with the citizens
"We are Tentacool and Tentacruel. Hear us now." Tentacruel said through Meowth as it destroyed a building. "Humans have destroyed our ocean home, and now we will have our revenge."
Three Tentacools then shoot laser to attack part of a building causing Ash to gasp
"What's wrong with Meowth?" Green asked
"Tentacruel must be using him as a puppet so that it can talk to us" Jake said
"Now we will begin to destroy your world, your home, as you have so cruelly tried to destroy ours. And not one of you has the right to complain about it." Tentacruel said as the Tentacool continue their onslaught
"Their homes must have been where that hotel's being built." Ash said
"That's right! The coral reef!" Brock said
"No wonder the Tentacool were so mad. I'm also getting the feeling that Nastina was responsible for the reef's destruction" Jake said
"Bulbasaur" Bulbasaur said angrily
Misty then remembered something
'That's exactly what Horsea was trying to tell us! I should have understood what it was trying to say. And I call myself a water Pokémon trainer.' she thought sadly
"Watch out!" Green shouted
The gang saw one of Tentacruel's tentacles coming at them. The got out of the way as it smashes the window to the Lookout. Outside, Horsea attempts to reason with Tentacruel.
"It's too late, Horsea. No matter what you think, we cannot turn away. We must teach humans the pain of having homes destroyed." Tentacruel spoke through Meowth
"Horsea eeea eeea!" Horsea said as it shook it's head
The two Tentacools swam up to see their conversation
"A spineless attitude like yours will only allow humans to be more cruel and inconsiderate in the future." Tentacruel said through Meowth again
"Horsea!" shouted Horsea
"So you say we're the spineless ones!? For that, you must be punished!" Tentacruel shouted through Meowth as it smackes it's tentacle on the water which sends Horsea flying. The two Tentacools were shocked by this
"Horsea!" Misty shouted
"Grab it, Pidgeotto!" Ash yelled as he lets out Pidgeotto
"Pidgeo!" Pidgeotto cried as it grabs Horsea and brings it to the Lookout. Pidgeotto then drops Horsea into Misty's arms.
"Good work, Pidgeotto" praised Ash
"I'm sorry, Horsea. You got beaten up, and you did it all for us humans. Thank you." Misty said as she hugged it
"Horsea" Horsea said weakly
"Poor Horsea" Green said sadly
Outside, the two Tentacool then swam up to the giant Tentacruel
"Tentacool Tentacool!" the first Tentacool shouted
"Horsea had it coming! Those who speak out against this shall be punished!" The Tentacruel said through Meowth
"Tentacool Tentacool Tenta!" The second Tentacool spoked
"There is no other way! The humans must suffer the way we suffered!" Tentacruel said
"Tentacool cool cool!" The first Tentacool said
"You're saying not all humans are like that?! I won't believe it! All humans care about are themselves!" Tentacruel stubbornly said
"Tentacool Tentacool!" The second Tentacool shouted
"Heartless, am I!? You two shall suffer the same fate as Horsea!" Tentacruel shouted through Meowth
And just like with Horsea, Tentacruel smashed it's tentacles on the water and sends the two Tentacools flying. Jake saw this
"Beedrill, Spearow, catch them!" Jake yelled as he lets them out
"Beedrill!"
"Spearow!"
Beedrill and Spearow grabbed each Tentacool by the tentacles and brought them over to the lookout. They set them in front of the gang much to everyone's surprise
"Thanks guys" Jake said
"What's with those two Tentacools?" Brock asked
"Yeah. Arent' they suppose to be with the swarm?" asked Ash in confusion
"I don't think those two Tentacools are affiliated with the swarm. They must be on their own" Jake said
"It does make sense since they spoke out against Tentacruel" Green said as she had witnessed the two Tentacools talking to Tentacruel
Jake and Bulbasaur then slowly approached them
"Are you two alright?" he asked
"Saur?" Bulbasasur asked with caution
"Cool cool Tentacool" The first Tentacool said
"Tenta Tentacool" the second one said
"That's good" Jake said
Ash's Pikachu decides that enough is enough so it hops on Ash's head
"Pika! Pika! Pika!" he cried
"You wanna try your luck?" Ash asked
"Chu" Pikachu responded
"You thinking what I'm thinking, buddy?" Ash asked Jake
"Yeah. This means war!" Jake replied
"Alright, full power attack! Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Butterfree, Pidgeotto!" Ash yelled as he sent out all of his Pokémon
"Bulbasaur, Spearow, Beedrill, Vaporeon, Pikachu! It's go time!" Jake yelled as he lets them out
"Starmie, Staryu, and Goldeen!" Misty said as she lets them out
"Squirtle, Eevee, and Bellsprout!" Green yelled as she send her Pokémon out
"Get ready Zubat!" Brock said as he lets Zubat out
And soon, the battle was on. Ash's Pidgeotto was carrying Ash and Jake's Pikachu, Spearow was carrying Green's Squirtle, Zubat was carrying Ash's Squirtle, Beedrill was carrying Jake's Bulbasaur and Bellsprout, and Butterfree was carrying Ash's Bulbasaur towards Tentacruel and Tentacool. The Tentacool fires laser from their ruby. But Pidgeotto dodges each of them. The two Pikachus then unleashed a combined Thundershock attack which shocks them.
"Hey, Pikachu! Don't let the Tentacool get any closer to us! Send them back to the sea!" Ash ordered
"That goes for all you as well. Do not let the Tentacool near the people!" Jake said to all of the Pokémon
Pidgeotto used Gust to blow the Tentacool away while Butterfree used Whirlwind to blow some Tentacools away. Beedrill uses Fury Attack on some of the Tentacool while Eevee bashes one of the Tentacool into the water. Spearow then used a series of Peck and Fury Attack on the Tentacool swarm Zubat uses Supersonic attack on the rest of the Tentacool while the two Bulbasaurs and Bellsprout used their Vine Whips to attack the rest of the and Staryu picks up some of the Tentacool and drops them back in the water. Vapporeon even used it's Quick Attack to knock the Tentacools back in the ocean. As the crowd begin to cheer, Ash notices that Misty is missing.
"Huh? Hey, where's Misty?" Ash asked
"I guess she must be going with her plan on trying to speak to Tentacruel" Green guessed
The two Tentacool were surprised as they had witnessed the battle. What amazes them more was how the Pokémon work together
Back outside,
"You are all Pokémon! Why are you battling to save the destructive humans?" Tentacruel asked through Meowth
It then swung it's tentacles at them. Pidgeotto with Ash and Jake's Pikachu on it dodges. Even Jake's Bulbasaur and Beedrill dodges as Beedrill grabs Bulbasaur and flew up. But the other Pokémon weren't so lucky as the other tentacles hit them.
"Oh no!" Green yelled
"Not good!" Jake added
Even Squirtle and Zubat were no match for Tentacruel's tentacle. The two Tentacools were shocked as they saw the Tentacruel beating them up.
"Zubat!" Brock yelled
"Squirtle!" Ash yelled
"Though you are all Pokémon, if you take the humans' side, you are our enemy!" Tentacruel said through Meowth
"What'll we do? Tentacruel is too strong" Green said with worry
Just then, Pidgeotto flew in with Ash and Jake's Pikachu on it. Even Beedrill and Jake's Bulbasaur flew in
"Pika pika pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu said
"Pika pika!" Jake's Pikachu added
"Bulba Bulbasaur Bulba" Bulbasaur said
The group watched as the they attempt to reason with Tentacruel
"The Pikachus and Bulbasaur are trying to reason with it?" Brock asked
"We're counting on you guys" Ash said
The two Pikachus and Bulbasaur took turns speaking to Tentacruel. They try to reason that not all humans are bad and the fact that what they are doing is wrong. Tentacruel didn't seem convinced by this. The three Pokémon then desperately yelled that what it's doing is making things worse for the people. Tentacruel is about to attack them when a voice caused it to halt
"Please, stop, Tentacruel!"
Tentacruel and the gang both saw Misty on top of the roof of a building
"Please! Take them all back to the ocean!" she begged
"Misty?" Ash, Brock, Green, and Jake asked
The two Tentacools were even surprised. Even the two Pikachus, Jake's Bulbasaur, Pidgeotto, and Beedrill were surprised at this.
"Please, listen, Tentacruel! This is enough! We humans understand that we hurt you!" Misty said to it
Tentacruel looks down to see the fightened humans and the humans in the view port
"We won't destroy your homes anymore! We're sorry. So, please." Misty said
"If this happens again, we will not stop. Remember this well." Tentacruel warned through Meowth. Tentacruel then tossed Meowth away
With the invasion called off, Tentacruel led the swarm of Tentacools back into the ocean. But just as they are doing that, Nastina emerged from the rubble still determined to get rid of the Tentacool
"You think you can get away that easy, do ya? Take this!" she cried as she shot a Bazooka at Tentacruel. The bullet bounced off Tentacruel which gets it's attention
"I'll capture ya, throw you in a tank, and charge admission! Eat lead, squidling!" Nastina cried as she continues to shoot at Tentacruel with her Bazooka and then her guns
"She doesn't get the message" Ash said
"We got to get down there" Jake said as he, and the two Tentacools race out
"Wait for us, Jake!" Green asked she races after them
"Let's go!" Brock said
"Right" Ash said and they follow after them
Nastina continues to fire at Tentacruel
"Come on, you big jellyfish! I'll show ya.." Nastina said until ink squirts in her face. "Overgrown squirt"
"What's wrong with you, Nastina?! Don't you understand?! What you're trying to do is wrong for everybody because it hurts Pokémon and humans!" Misty scolds her
"Horsea" said Horsea from Misty's bag as it was the one that shot the ink
"You stuck up little brat!" grumbled Nastina until she sees Tentacruel looming over her
"Tentacruel?" Misty asked
"Ha ha ha ha ha! Well, Tentacruel, glad to see you're wising up and coming over to my way of thinking! Now, why don't you and me go into business together?" Nastina asked
Tentacruel only responds by using it's tentacle to send Nastina flying into the air and out of sight
Then the gang arrived at the docks just in time to see it
"So long!" Ash yelled with a wave
"And good riddance!" Jake added
"I guess that'll teach her to mess with the Tentacool" Green replied
"Tentacool" The two tentacool said
Misty stuck her tongue out at Nastina. She and Horsea then watches as Tentacruel went into the water and out of sight
"Goodbye Tentacruel. We'll remember" Misty said
"Horsea" Horsea said
Jake then look at the two Tentacools
"I guess this is where we part ways, Tentacools" Jake said. "I know you two weren't part of the invasion, but I think you should go with the swarm."
"Yeah. You'll be safe with them" Green added
The two Tentacools both look at each other and shook their heads
"You don't want to join them?" Green ask
"Tentacool Tentacool" The first Tentacool said as it points it's tentacle at them
"What is it saying?" Brock asked
"I think the two Tentacools want to come with us" Jake replied
The two Tentacools both nod their heads
"Is it because you witnessed our battle with the other Tentacools?" Green asked
The two Tentacools nod at this
"Well if that's the case. Welcome aboard" Jake said
"So, who should catch the two Tentacools?" Ash asked
"How about I catch one and Green catches the other?" Jake asked
"Sure. I can always catch another Pokémon" Green said with a smile
"How does that sound Tentacools?" Jake asked
The two Tentacools look at each other and then back at them
"Tentacool" The two Tentacools said in unison as they nod their heads
"I guess it's a deal" Jake said
Both Jake and Green took out some empty Poké Balls and held it out to the two Tentacools. The Tentacools touch the Poké Balls and are sucked in. After shaking two times, the Poké Balls then locked.
"Looks like we got new Pokémon" Green said
"Oh yeah" Jake added as he and Green hi-fived each other
Then, Jake's Poké Ball disappears
"Don't worry. I'll try to make room for my new Tentacool" Jake said
Ash and Brock both smiled at their friends' accomplishment.
As the sun was setting, the gang were finally able to get a ride on a boat and they are sailing away from Porta Visa
"Quite an eventful day, huh guys?" Jake asked
"Saur" Bulbasaur responded
"I know" Green said
"Yeah. It's kinda weird, but Tentacruel turned out to be okay." Brock said
"You're right" Ash said
"Plus we caught our new Tentacools" Green replied
"Speaking of Tentacools, want to let them out Green?" asked Jake
"Sure" Green replied
"Come on out Tentacool" Jake yelled
"Say hello, Tentacool!" Green yelled
They threw out their Poké Balls and their Tentacools came out
"Tentacool"
"Tentacool"
"Whoa! You two caught those Tentacools. That's so cool. Although, I wish I caught one" Misty said feeling a little jealous
"Yep. Thank goodness I was able to swap mine with Sandshrew on my Pokédex" Jake replied
"So, Misty, you still think jellyfish Pokémon are cute?" Ash asked
"Sure do" Misty said
This earns them a sweat drop from the gang while the two Tentacools blush in embarassment
"It figures" Jake said
"But right now, Horsea's the cutest Pokémon of all! Come on, Horsea!" Misty said as she lets throws a Poké Ball to let Horsea out
"Horsea!"
"Horsea" Misty said as she caught Horsea. "You're my Pokémon!"
As she said that, Misty did a two finger pose
"Wait a minute, that's supposed to be my pose!" Ash protested
"I know, but I always wanted to try it out for myself." Misty replied
"That's a good idea. Next time, I'll try it." Brock said
"Maybe I can try it out too" Green replied
"Why don't you guys think of your own poses, okay?!" Ash shouted
"Easy Ash easy. It's not like you own it" Jake said
"Yeah. You should be flattered that people want to try out your pose" Brock added
"That's right. Don't be so greedy" Misty said
"They have a point you know" Green added
"What!?" yelled Ash
As the group argue, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Horsea, and the two Tentacools look out to sea. And the ship sails off to their next destination.
