Darkest Temptations
Chapter Eight: My Husband's Desires
Elena Mikaelson
I had gone over to Caroline's house fully determined to confront Klaus about the kiss. He purposely made his usual peck to linger, seemingly to challenge me. I was curious about his intentions when he kissed me in such a manner, especially considering it was just moments after his return from Mystic Falls. He was attempting to engage me in a manipulative mind game, but he would not succeed. I had just reached the middle of the stairs when I first heard them. I froze in place, captivated by Klaus's persistent urging for Caroline to 'Take it'.
He had a strong hold on her, making it evident that he had persuaded her to be intimate with him prior to our trip and was asserting control over her in their private moments. It's worth mentioning that I wasn't a nun. Naturally, the idea of being intimate with Klaus had entered my mind ever since that night in the forest. I had pondered upon it several times since then, questioning my own honesty. I envisioned him as someone who exuded confidence and control in intimate situations. However, I never imagined him with Caroline in my mind. Of course, it was only in my moments of occasional daydreaming that my imagination would wander. I imagined him embracing me tightly, insisting that I let go of Stefan. And when I resisted, he would demonstrate all the persuasive tactics at his disposal to sway my decision. Whenever I thought about him as a lover, my imagination ignited with passion. I had envisioned him embracing me passionately, exploring new depths of intimacy that Stefan had never ventured into, despite my subtle suggestions to spice things up in the bedroom.
The sound of Caroline's passionate cries, occasionally accompanied by screams of Klaus's name, compelled me to follow my curiosity and continue onward. Amidst their collective moans, I successfully traversed the hallway and arrived at their bedroom door. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, consumed by the fear of being discovered or, even worse, the shame of betraying their trust by spying on them. I caught a glimpse of them both through the narrow opening in the door. They were both completely naked, with beads of sweat trickling down Klaus's neck and back, reaching all the way down to his well-formed buttocks that bore the marks of Caroline's nails, and were only now gradually healing themselves.
I observed his strong physique as he engaged in an intimate act with Caroline, his firm grasp on her hips revealing his determination. The intensity of their connection left me in awe, as it seemed they were fully immersed in the moment. I could only catch a glimpse of his profile, sweat glistening on his forehead and trickling down his cheek as he maintained a relentless rhythm, exuding a commanding presence that captivated. That's what he was doing at this moment - marking Caroline as his own, asserting his dominance and roughness, completely captivating her and making it impossible for any other man to compare.
His intense expression and confident movements captivated me, igniting a sense of desire I had never experienced before. He wasn't rushing things with her, this was Klaus showing his human side and his love for her. He possessed all the qualities any woman could desire. Klaus and Caroline moved in perfect sync, their bodies bouncing together. The movement of her breasts was quite vigorous and could potentially cause discomfort over time. It appeared that Klaus was being quite forceful with her, although she didn't voice any objections. The intensity in his gaze suggested a desire to push boundaries and see how far he could go before she surrendered.
His repeated insistence for her to "Take it" left me pondering the true meaning behind his words. Was he hoping for her to fully embrace his member? Or did he actually wish to risk coming inside of her so soon into the marriage?
What they did was their own affair, but I couldn't help but worry that they were rushing into intimacy too soon.
I couldn't determine the duration of my presence, only that a fiery sensation was intensifying between my legs and in my ears. I watched as he disciplined her, witnessing her surrender to the force of his movements. Caroline's arms gave way under the intensity, causing her to bury her face in the mattress for nearly two minutes. Surprisingly, Klaus showed no concern and instead increased his speed.
Then I finally caught sight of his member, he pulled out of her briefly and adjusted the condom around the base ensuring it was on correctly. He playfully teased her by tapping her buttock with the tip, making her laugh, before he slid himself back into her.
I left at that moment and successfully left without attracting any attention. Upon my arrival at home, I was confident that Klaus would soon arrive to gather her belongings for the upcoming vacation. However, after ten minutes had passed, he had yet to arrive.
As time went on, a growing anger consumed me, leaving me bewildered and powerless. I couldn't even occupy myself with packing for the trip. Instead, I found myself fixated on the kitchen floor, eagerly anticipating his appearance.
After what felt like an eternity, Klaus finally made his return. I watched him effortlessly sliding open the patio doors to our residence, confidently striding across the kitchen as if nothing had occurred. He believed he had successfully escaped detection without anyone suspecting a thing. I had no intention of confronting him, but when I noticed his hair remained dry, it was clear that he hadn't even bothered to shower after they had been together. It seemed as though he had just left Caroline's bed and hurriedly made his way to my house to freshen up for the journey.
"If you're done screwing my best friend we should talk about what happened in Mystic Falls" I calmly stated.
Klaus glanced in my direction, locking eyes with me from across the kitchen.
"Would you rather I screwed you sweetheart?" Klaus asked, his unwavering gaze compelling me to avert my eyes first.
He quickly ascended the stairs without uttering another syllable.
If I was going to become the woman I aspired to be out here in Utah, I had to cease pretending that his actions didn't affect me. We had been here for nearly a week, and he had made every effort to portray me as the antagonist at every opportunity. I rose from the kitchen stool and ascended the stairs to address him regarding his problem.
I wouldn't repeat the same error that Caroline and Klaus made. As soon as I entered the bedroom, I swiftly closed the door and secured it, not giving him a chance to utter a single word.
"Was this the plan from the start? For both of you to stop pretending you weren't closer than we all thought?" I asked.
Klaus carefully watched me before unfastening the remaining buttons of his shirt and removing it, preparing to respond to my question.
"For me, yes."
"Not for her?"
"I don't speak for her" Klaus said, locking eyes with me and holding my gaze intently. "And you should refrain from assuming you understand her."
"We've been best friends our entire lives."
"And yet you're surprised that she's already sleeping with me."
I paused, feeling a sense of vulnerability, as I found myself at a loss for words.
Klaus took a step forward, and in that moment, I reminded myself to maintain eye contact with him, resisting the urge to glance at the glistening sweat on his torso that highlighted his muscular physique.
"She told you that she was done pretending she was content in Mystic Falls. And the first good thing she does for herself out here, you critize her for it."
"Sleeping with you so soon after ending her relationship with Tyler is considered a positive?"
"Yes!" Klaus's sudden outburst startled me, causing me to instinctively take a step backward.
I furrowed my brow and crossed my arms, demanding an explanation.
"I don't have to explain myself or my actions to anyone. And especially not to you."
"...Especially not to me?" I said it again.
"You heard me." Klaus seemed to be growing increasingly frustrated with me, particularly when the topic of conversation was Caroline.
"She's turning into a different person."
"She's not turning into anything. She's just done pretending."
"You say that like she was depressed and hated her life. That was not the case.
"And how can you be so sure?" Klaus confidently stepped forward, casually tossing his shirt onto the bed in front of him.
"Because I know her. I was with her before we got here. Every single day. I didn't come in and out of her life. I saw the good and bad."
"She was unhappy."
"No, she wasn't."
"She was unhappy. She was miserable. And so were you."
His unexpected remark left me utterly stunned, rendering me momentarily speechless as my thoughts raced to find a suitable response. If only he would cease his piercing gaze, I might have a moment to collect my thoughts. He was doing this as a form of punishment.
"You just don't want to admit that you and Caroline are moving too fast." I told him.
"I'm not talking about her with you."
"Is it suddenly a requirement for me to abide by this rule?"
Klaus maintained unwavering eye contact as he approached me, moving with his characteristic poise and self-assurance, while I struggled to resist the overwhelming temptation to flee from the room. I held my breath for a moment as he approached me, anticipation filling the air.
"Do you desire rules, my love?" Hmm... Klaus gently inquired, drawing nearer to me, his gaze fixed on my face, as if challenging me to respond to his proposition. "Would you like me to tell you what to do?" He asked. His question was barely audible, as if he was speaking directly into my ear.
In an instant, I found myself pressed against the wall near the bedroom door. I closed my eyes as he approached, his hand gently encircling my wrist, conveying his intention without causing any discomfort. I could feel my heart racing, and it was clear that he could sense the change in my pulse just by touching my skin. I resisted the temptation to avert my gaze as I sensed his nose lightly grazing the edge of my forehead and brushing against my hair. He inhaled me deeply, eagerly awaiting my response to his playful pursuit. I couldn't reveal how deeply he was affecting me. I simply had to summon the courage to refuse him.
"You were always so well-behaved." Klaus softly murmured in my ear as his firm grip caressed my hip, ensuring I remained exactly where he desired.
"But you're no longer Elena Gilbert," he said. Gently brushing my hair back and placing his lips near my ear. "I know who you are," he said. "I know who you are. But I need to hear you say it."
"You're just trying to manipulate me." I said to him with clenched teeth.
"You're my wife." He whispered, his lips dangerously close to my cheek, "My second wife, so fearless, stubborn, and remarkable..." He playfully taunted, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine and making my heart race. "Sexy, Elena."
"What are you doing?" I asked as Klaus's forehead touched mine.
There was a moment of silence, where words failed us and the air grew heavy. He was assessing how my body responded to his presence, and unfortunately, it was not meeting his expectations.
How did he manage to make the word 'sexy' sound so sexy?
I opened my eyes and saw him moving away from me, a smug smile on his face, granting me the necessary room to gather my thoughts.
"I'm not Caroline. And I am never, ever going to sleep with you." I informed him.
He simply shook his head in response.
"You can get as close to Caroline and April as you like. But don't think for a second that we can just forget about everything you've done to me."
"That's the aspect you seem to be overlooking, sweetheart."
"And what is that?"
"It's no longer about my actions towards you in the past. It's about what I'm going to do with you now that you're mine. "
Without hesitation, he carried on speaking before I had a chance to interject.
"One day, I'm going to give you the most powerful orgasm of your entire life. I'm going to make your body bend into positions you never imagined you're capable of. And just when you think your body can't take anymore, that's when I'll truly begin to test your physical boundaries."
"...I will never."
"I will sleep with you one day. When the time is right, when your body knows, not only what it wants but what it needs. That's when it will happen. That's when you will truly feel like a Mikaelson. Until then.." Klaus eyes travelled painfully slow up and down my entire body "You just keep playing your game of pretend, Gilbert."
"...The spell only requires trust."
"It's not about the spell. It's about what you need. And it's about what I want."
"And suddenly you know what that is?"
"I know what I want, I know who I want and I know exactly what I'll do when that time comes." Klaus said before stepping closer to me "Or should I say…when I make you….come"
With that said, I quickly grabbed the door handle next to me and exited the room.
He wanted to sleep with me. But he made it clear he wouldn't, not until I told him I wanted to.
He wanted to give me the opportunity to let go of everything I was and become in his mind a true Mikaelson.
I didn't know what that meant.
All I knew was…he had made me wet.
April Mikaelson
Caroline decided to take another shower before we left, even though she had already showered earlier that morning prior to us going shopping. It seemed a bit peculiar to me. To my surprise, I was the first one to load my luggage into Klaus's car. It was quite unexpected how the tables had turned, as I had expected to be the one struggling to stay on schedule and relying on others for assistance. But to my confusion, everything was completely the opposite. I made sure to prepare for my trip to the airport and double-checked that everything was secure at home before going to Elena's.
"Elena?" As I swung open the patio door to her kitchen, I called out her name.
I surveyed my surroundings, taking note of the impressive progress made by both she and Caroline in their homes. Meanwhile, my own place was still cluttered with boxes and luggage in every room. Klaus had made an unexpected visit to our home to pick up a few shirts and freshen up, even though it wasn't my day with him. I contemplated inquiring about his reasons, but ultimately decided it was wiser to refrain. He and Elena seemed to be struggling with the changes in our lives, and it was clear that they didn't want any additional interference in this already delicate situation.
Caroline and I had discussed it in private. We were concerned about the potential consequences of their ongoing conflict on the spell and the integrity of our protective barrier. It was a situation none of us wanted to see unfold. We were just beginning to settle down, and now that everything in Mystic Falls seemed to be falling into place, it felt like we were finally entering a new and exciting chapter in our lives.
As I stepped into their sitting room, I noticed Klaus's luggage neatly placed by the bottom of the staircase, all set for departure. However, Elena's luggage and Elena herself were conspicuously missing. Klaus was reclining on the couch, his arm serving as a makeshift pillow, while he closed his eyes for a moment of unwinding. His hair was still wet from his shower and he had a pleasant scent that could be detected even from a distance. I nibbled on my lower lip, contemplating whether to rouse him with a mischievous tickle. However, I decided it was wiser not to push my luck.
I approached him silently, stopping just above him. A smile crept across my face as his eyes slowly opened, aware of my presence.
I watched his eyes meet mine before he began to take in my change of clothes. I had prepared for our trip by carefully selecting what to wear. I opted for a stunning strapless black maxi dress that gracefully flowed with the cool breeze of the air conditioning in the room. Klaus's smile widened as he noticed the elegant gold bracelets adorning my wrists, complemented by the subtle shimmer of cream eyeshadow and the fluttery allure of freshly applied lashes. He definitely had an eye for detail when it came to women. He was one of those rare individuals who actually paid attention to haircuts and changes in perfume.
"Tired?" I asked gently as he raised his hand to meet mine.
I nervously nibbled on my lower lip as Klaus flashed a warm smile and tenderly guided my hand, coaxing me to join him on the sofa.
"Klaus," I murmured, my voice filled with frustration, as I perched on the edge of it. Suddenly, he firmly placed his hand on my thigh, causing me to straddle his waist.
My heart was pounding, he was well aware of my lack of experience in this matter, and he was pushing me beyond my comfort zone. I was on the verge of telling him when he caught me off guard by staying completely still. He smiled at me while resting his arm behind his head, the other hand resting gently on my thigh. He didn't desire a passionate encounter on the couch; he simply wanted to be near me.
"You keep this up and I'm going to start thinking you really did miss us."
Klaus barely mustered a response, nonchalantly pursing his lips and casually shrugging his shoulder.
I couldn't help but notice his talent for provoking reactions.
I let out a sigh and glanced at his new black shirt. After a moment, I mustered the courage to place my hands on his chest, feeling the solid muscles beneath the fabric.
"Jesus," I murmured, eliciting a chuckle from him.
I glanced up to meet his gaze "It's just…I'm not use to this and-"
"I did think about you." Klaus uttered those words, causing me to avert my gaze.
"Just me?"
"All of you," he replied honestly, which I found oddly refreshing.
I met his gaze and bit my lower lip nervously before asking "Is it weird that I'm okay with that?"
Klaus shook his head in response, "No. Not weird, love."
He glanced at his hand on my thigh, then gently lifted it to rest beneath my chin. His touch was tender as he traced his fingers along my skin. Finally, he relaxed, placing both arms behind his head.
"I missed your night." Klaus met my gaze with a steady look. "That's why you weren't here when I left that day."
As I shifted my gaze, he subtly moved his hips upwards, surprising me but not causing any fear. It was clear that he simply desired my attention, and I willingly met his gaze once more.
"It's really not a big deal," I said nonchalantly, shrugging my shoulders.
"You seemed quite distressed from what I'm told."
"I know I'm the third wife and I don't have the history like you guys do and-"
"You're my wife." Klaus interrupted me abruptly.
"We could spend some time together while we're away." I recommended.
"Look at me." I promptly followed Klaus' instructions.
"I won't miss another." His face displayed a genuine promise.
As he gazed at me, I couldn't help but inch closer, catching Klaus's attention as his eyes shifted to my lips. He gently held my face, his touch captivating, as he leaned in and kissed me. We then found ourselves entwined on the sofa, lost in the moment.
Oh my god!
He displayed such tenderness and patience towards me, unaware that he possessed all the qualities I desired in someone to share my first experience with. Klaus's behavior towards me was distinct from how he treated Caroline and Elena. While he would openly admire them, he displayed a different demeanor when he was with me. He displayed a sense of chivalry and I couldn't help but appreciate witnessing this side of him.
However, a curious part of me couldn't resist uncovering the truth.
As our lips separated, I leaned in close to Klaus's ear, and he gently kissed my warm cheek.
"Does this trip mean you expect us to…-"
"You'll remain my sweet girl until you're ready." Klaus softly murmured in my ear as he gently pressed another kiss against my cheek.
I locked eyes with him and nervously licked on my lower lip.
"Just tell me you'll know when it's time." I pleaded with him, desperately hoping he would understand the words I longed to hear at that very moment.
"We'll both know when it's time." He whispered gently
I averted my gaze from his eyes and replied, "I will improve, I promise." I told him, as I turned to meet his gaze, "Just promise me that, the first time, it will be us making love. I don't want it to be sex."
"I'll be gentle. You have my word."
I took a deep breath and mustered up my bravery before glancing at his waistline and then back into his eyes, only to find that his gaze was still fixed on mine.
"Will it hurt? I'd rather know and prepare myself..."
"It will be painful." Klaus readily agreed.
I blushed and avoided making eye contact as I nervously posed the question that was on my mind: "Are you...well-endowed?"
"Yes." He gently touched my cheek and gently guided my gaze back to his eyes. "I am." He said to me, our gaze locking.
"So what's going to happen?"
"I'll handle everything when the time comes, sweetheart." He spoke softly, his hands gently caressing my face.
"Are you okay with waiting?"
Klaus smiled in response causing me to smile right back at him.
Caroline Mikaelson
Klaus efficiently gathered the remaining luggage from all three homes and loaded it into his car while the rest of us completed our last-minute checks. Once Klaus departed, I remained in bed for the following ten minutes, gathering enough strength to rise to my feet once more. Later, I took a refreshing shower and carefully chose my outfit for our upcoming journey. I selected a breathtaking flowing white dress and adorned it with elegant gold hoop earrings. The dress exuded an air of elegance, perfectly complementing my newly acquired white and brother leather luggage, which I bought earlier in the day. I had styled my hair and put on a subtle touch of makeup and perfume. After my encounter with Klaus, my skin was radiant. He left me completely satisfied, as if it was just a casual stroll for him while I experienced an intense journey.
I felt a gentle soreness between my legs, a testament to his impressive size and the intimate connection we shared. I had never experienced such exhaustion. He was simply overwhelming. He skillfully led me through the entire encounter, and ultimately achieved his desired outcome. I believe we both understood that Klaus was not particularly concerned about practicing safe sex. It seems that he was not fully considering the potential consequences of a pregnancy, but rather focused on fulfilling his desires. This may have been a long-standing fantasy of his since the day we first met.
I just didn't want to become pregnant yet. And the condom had stayed securely in position. We felt at ease and we knew that we would continue to be safe in the future. Actually, I might even contemplate taking the pill, regardless of its impact on my body. It would evoke a sense of humanity and femininity within me.
Klaus had requested that we gather and have a conversation about the events in Mystic Falls prior to our departure for the trip. It was no surprise to me to find April already seated at her usual spot at the table when I came downstairs.
"You look so pretty" April complimented as I walked into the room.
Her appearance was absolutely captivating. The way she styled her hair with those elegant curls and the dress she chose, it was clear she had put thought into her outfit. I was thrilled that she decided to purchase it because the style perfectly complemented her petite height.
I took my seat at the head of the table as the patio doors swung open and closed in the kitchen behind us.
Klaus entered the room and quickly realized that Elena was not there. He turned to me, seeking clarification.
"She's on her way." I reassured him.
After another five minutes, she still hadn't arrived. Klaus insisted that April should be the one to go and find her, even though I had offered to do it myself. After April's departure, Klaus glanced in my direction once again. He carefully studied my expression before a smirk crossed his face, causing him to avert his gaze.
"I'm a little flushed. Don't make a case out of it." I informed him.
Klaus turned and locked eyes with me, causing a subtle reaction to ripple through my body. I noticed the slight tension in his muscles, captivated by the moment.
"I'm warning you." He told me
I smiled and nodded in response, choosing to be polite and not diminish this experience.
"So what did you want to talk to us about?" I asked him.
As he prepared to reply, his attention suddenly shifted away from me, drawn by the sound of approaching footsteps. I glanced behind me and observed April coming back with Elena, who had swapped her attire since this morning. I glanced over at Klaus, his eyes fixed on Elena as she sat down next to me. She avoided making eye contact with him, fully aware of his disapproving stare directed at her outfit.
Elena had swapped her casual jeans and blouse for a different look. She was now dressed in a white skin-tight bandage crop top, paired with taupe-toned shorts that seamlessly matched her smooth, glistening legs. Her hair was perfectly styled and her makeup was understated. She wore a delicate gold bracelet on her left wrist and a new fragrance that was unfamiliar to me.
"So what did you want to talk to us about?" April asked Klaus as she sat down, seemingly unaware of Elena's sudden wardrobe change.
Klaus turned his gaze towards April, who responded with a gentle smile. He then shifted his attention back to Elena, his eyes filled with a dark intensity, hoping to provoke a reaction from her. However, Elena remained unfazed, her expression unchanged, as if she was simply being true to herself. It made me wonder what had happened between the two of them that led to this newfound tension.
"They're still searching for you. My sources confirm they have the hunter. They're keeping him prisoner and torturing him for answers." Klaus informed us.
"Oh my god." April gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in surprise.
Despite being aware of the hunter's actions towards her, April chose to display empathy towards him. Klaus was taken aback, his gaze fixed on her for several moments thereafter. He paced back and forth in the room, sharing with us how he occupied himself during his time there and patiently addressing any inquiries April and I had. Elena, on the other hand, chose to remain silent, much to our surprise.
"So they have no idea we're alive or that we're married?" I asked for confirmation.
"No and they never will." Klaus replied.
"Good it's none of their business." April then spoke.
Klaus exited the room momentarily, only to reappear moments later carrying three elegant gift boxes adorned with satin ribbons. Each box possessed a unique shape and size. He handed me the largest one, April the medium-sized one, and Elena the smallest. We all studied them before in perfect harmony, our gazes fixated on him, eliciting a sigh from Klaus.
We carefully untied the ribbons, unveiling the hidden contents one by one. Soft pink tissue paper gently cradled the hidden treasure inside the box. Tears welled up in my eyes as I discovered a framed picture of my mom's service photo. Her expression radiated a sense of pride, leaving me with a glimmer of hope that one day, when our paths crossed again, I might be the recipient of such a look. I hoped that she would feel a sense of pride in my courage to leave Mystic Falls and create a new life for myself, embracing the roles of a wife and a future mother.
I glanced at Klaus, who briefly smiled at me, acknowledging my reaction to his thoughtful present. However, his attention swiftly turned to April. She kept the contents of her box a secret, but I observed her silently expressing gratitude to Klaus, who deliberately winked at her. His attention then turned to Elena, who was already gazing back at him.
"How did you know I even had this?"
"Is that all you have to say?" Klaus asked, seeking her response.
"It's a valid question."
"You could just say thank you love."
They lock eyes with such intensity that it immediately unsettles April and me as we watch.
Elena closed the lid of the box in front of her and turned towards me, saying, "We better get going."
