KLANG KLANG KLASH!
Sounds of swords and blood spilling can be heard from everywhere. The blood of warriors, who were dripping like flesh against an assailaint, or assailaints who were mercilessly cutting them down.
KLANG KLUNK KLUSH!
Swords were chipping and slashing against each other. Slashing their enemies, cutting them down and killing them. The sounds of battle cries and screams were heard all around the place, which seemed to be a forest.
KLANG KLANG KLUSH KLISH!
And as the sounds come to an end, there was a pile of bodies on the ground. Members of different Familias dead, injured, and on death's door, struggling to keep themselves awake but were ultimately in vain, as they took their last breath and died on that field. Meanwhile, a big group of men were around, injured and raising a flag that had the eastern characters for "Emperor" on it, waving it around and cheering for their victory.
"We've won! The Far East will now change for good, now with the shogunate dismantled!" one of the men declared out, causing cheers to roar out from the other men who raised their swords and weapons in celebration.
Another group of people could be seen, injured, and walking around checking the bodies, as a man who held an air of authority was coming up to another man or boy. The boy was no older than 14 years old, with white hair and red eyes that made him look like a rabbit, but the blood on his face and clothing, along with his the dark circles under his eyes made him look older than he should.
All the men were wearing Hakama over their kimonos, along with some armour. The only one not doing so was the boy and the man, who seemed to be the leader of this group. They held swords in their hands, or were on their waist in their sheaths. They all had a headband with the kanji for "Sword" on their heads, all except for the boy.
It seemed to be a long battle had occured, as they were all breathing heavily and tired out from the fighting. Some were complying who had died to give them respects, others were checking if there was any other person left alive that they had missed, but so far none were found.
"Saito-san, weve lost the battle..." one of the men said to the now Saito, who still looked at the white haired boy, who was in his own trance of sorts.
"Very well... Looks like ots the end of our time here." Saito exclaimed, making the others grit their teeth in anger except the boy, who was still in his trance. Saito looked at the boy in curiosity and caution, as he just gripped his sword and looked at the sky. The boy then looked at a distance and started to walk away from the group, much to Saito's non-surprise.
"Usagi!" Saito called out to the boy, who looked back at him. "No matter what era it be, whatever era that may disapprove of our actions now and has changed, us men of the sword will die by it and our fight will not end here." He exclaimed to the boy while drawing his sword in front of him. The boy looked at the man, expressionless and empty, before raising his sword in the air and stabbing into the ground and removing his headband.
Saito looked surprised at the boy's action, while the boy just walked away, leaving behind his former group (?) and going far away, never to be seen again from any of them.
3 YEARS LATER
A carriage can be seen being carried by a man and his horses, and boy with white hair was on it, taking in the scenery of where he was going.
"So you're heading to Orario, eh? Going to be an adventurer?" the driver asked the white haired boy, who looked at him with a smile.
"Yes sir. I'm going there to be an adventurer. Trying to find some other work maybe as well." the boy responded, closing his eyes to feel the wind hitting his face.
"Ah, figures. All the people who go there to be adevnturers and what not. But I'm curious since you're wearing the clothing from the Far East..." the driver trailed off, commenting on the boy's attire, which consisted of a brown hakama, red kimono that looked cheap, zori and brown tabi. The boy smiled.
"Ah... It's because I was originally from the Far East. I moved there when I was just a child, later when I was 14, left for my own reasons." The boy answered politely, which the driver understood.
"I see.. that also explains the sword... what was it called again.. Kataha.. Katano.. Katanya.." the driver tried remembering the name, which made the boy chuckle. "It's katana, sir. I was originally apart of a Familia that helped with the security of the town I was in." He explained, while holding onto the katana on his waist, in its scabbard.
"Oh! I see... so you have some experience of your own already..." the driver trailed off. The boy nodded and when back to looking at the scenery before noticing his destination right in front of him.
"Is that..."
"Yeah, kid.That's Orario."
The boy looked in awe at the size of the walls, and the sight of the tower that seem to reach the heavens itself.
"This is as far as I go. I'm not gonna go through with that long checking-in they have at the walls, so you're on your on for that." the driver said.
"Don't worry. I'm glad that you drove me here in the first place. Thank you, sir." the boy bowed his head before giving the payment to the driver, who took it gratefully. The boy was going to leave but the driver called out to him.
"Hey kid! Just to remember you by, if you get famous, what's your name?" he asked, to which the boy smiled and answered.
"My name is Cranel... Bell Cranel."

The more excited the user is, the more stronger the effect of the spell. The users eyes glow bright red in use.)
Skills -
Blessing of the sword - Grants the user the development ability "Swordsman" and its effectiveness and power is based on the user's level. Increases the growth of the user based on their motivation and the user's feelings, and gives Resistance towards charms.
Herald of the Sword - Increases speed and strength when using bladed weapons. Doubles when the user is running when fighting.
Manslayer - Heavily increases the user's status if they are fighting with another person and the effect doubles if the user has the intent to kill them.
Development Ability -
Swordsman - Based on level (Only used through Blessing of the sword when wielding a bladed weapon.)

That's a wrap for this chapter and beginning of this new story I'm working on. I might not update consistently, so i apologize in advance. This story has some concepts and characters from Rurouni Kenshin, since I recently just watched it but its not really a crossover.
Things to know before the next chapter are:
1. The One-Eyed Black Dragon is dead in this story. The explanation will be the Dragon was more injured in his battle against Albert Waldstein, and was still recovering from the worst of its wounds when the Zeus and Hera Familia fought it. I'm not really keen on waiting a fight between the OEBD and anyone in general since I don't know how I'm gonna make that fight happen.
2. The Zeus and Hera Familias are still banished from Orario, as they lost most of their lower members and heavy hitters and were still very injured after fighting the OEBD, which allowed the Loki and Freya Familias to kick them out. Some remenants are travelling and going around the world, some like Zald and Alfia joined Evilus and the dark era of Orario still happened, while others settled down and retired.
3. Bell is older by a few years, being 17 years old here. He also was raised by Zeus for awhile but was separated from him due to getting kidnapped by slave traders one day and was sold to the Far East. He doesn't like to talk about that, so he just lies about moving there when he was a child. So, he doesn't have the same drive to be a hero, but he still yearns to be one in his heart.
Meaning that Bell does want to be a hero, but not the same level of want like in Canon. Also, his former Familia before joining his new one in Orario (try guessing who) will be revealed later on.
4. Astrea Familia still goes through the tragedy, but was saved by someone, who later on be revealed. Some members are dead, but they are still in Orario and serve as the special Police force, similiar to the Ganesha Familia. Ryuu does her rampage still and gets hired into the Hostess of Fertility, but she gets back to adventuring some time later and rejoins her Familia.
5. Ais's goal is to destroy all monster instead, as OEBD is gone now. She still hates monsters, and her goal is more towards conquering the dungeon, with her Familia to stop monsters from coming into the world. She still has the same personality, but she has more motivation to get stronger as she has more rivals (Ryuu, Alise and etc.)
