Set in Season 5 of The Handmaid's Tale, this alternate storyline follows Nick's decision to collaborate with the U.S. government to move to Toronto and be close to June and Nichole. The situation becomes complicated by Luke's presence in June's life. The story focuses on the emotional conflict between the three, without addressing other topics like Selena, Hannah, or refugees.

Season One is maybe my favorite season, but there are so many times I wonder about the time in between scenes. The journey that came before we got what we saw in the show. Take a trip with me through the in-between times, the what-could-have-been times.

This story fills in some gaps between scenes in Season 2 04 ("Unwomen") and 05 ("Seeds"), exploring June's emotional breakdown and Nick's reaction to it. June went from the freedom of the Boston Globe to a downward spiral back at the Waterford home. Where was Nick through all of this? And what prompted the Waterfords to get Nick married so abruptly?

A drabble (100 words) in the Handmaid's Tale Universe

This account follows the story of a teen Handmaid named Ofmartin. Alone and powerless in the Republic of Gilead, she must forge what connections she can to stay alive and one day maybe, if she is lucky, escape.

June was the second Offred. Anna was the first Offred. We all know how Anna's story ended, but this is how it began and how her life changed the lives of others in the Waterford household. TW for Handmaid themes.

Luke and June have been living together in Toronto for months. Are they ever going to have an honest conversation about Nick Blaine? This takes place during season 4, in the weeks between episodes 9 and 10. And Nichole/Holly is two and a half in this story, because she should be. (Not my fault that the writers can't do math.)
