An Early Morning School Day in Dimmsdale
Another morning greets Dimmsdale as the sun rises over the rolling hills surrounding the city and suburbs, the scene is greeted to the front house of the Turners. Going into the house and to Timmy's room, the scene is greeted by the kid quickly snoring the early morning away.
Over to the fish bowl on the nightstand that houses his 'goldfish', Wanda was the first to speak with Cosmo. "Ready Cosmo?" She asks with a smile to her fairy husband.
Cosmo glances over at Wanda with an equally happy smile, "Ready Wanda!" He responds cheerfully.
Together they begin to chorus, "One." They start to say before popping out from the fish bowl as fish, and reappear above the bowl in their fairy forms. "Two." They continued to count while looking towards Timmy, and finished the countdown while looking towards each other. "Three!" The two fairy godparents announced in cheer, before Cosmo flew over to Timmy's sleeping form.
With a smile on his face, Cosmo worked to help Timmy wake up, "Wakey wakey Timmy!" He exclaimed, turning into an alarm clock that rang its bells to wake up his godchild.
Timmy woke up with shock and a scream at the sudden noise, and calmed down after his mind fully woke up. Cosmo popped out of sight, allowing Wanda to float over for her turn to help Timmy wake up. With a cheerful outlook, Wanda smiled at her godchild. "Oh come on little fella." She soothingly talked to Timmy, and used her wand to float him up out of bed. "Even though we're your fairy godparents." She mused, before allowing Cosmo to finish for her who was up in the air with Timmy.
Cosmo with a toothbrush in hand and toothpaste in the other, he smiled towards Timmy. "We don't need magic to know you have another early morning to get up for school!" He finished for Wanda, and began to brush Timmy's teeth. With his part done, Cosmo tossed the dentistry supplies off to the side with the sound of glass shattering and lowered Timmy back down to the floor.
Timmy's expression was one of early morning tiredness, "Right, school." He remarked and yawned, before his fairy godparents magically switched his pajamas to his usual attire with a poof from their wands.
Wanda floated over next ro Timmy with a cheerful smile, "Oh cheer up sport! It's a bright new day!"
Timmy made to leave his room while rubbing the sand out of his eyes, "Yeah, another day of school you mean." He griped with a grimace.
Happy trails Trailer Park, few hours prior
With the sun just barely peeking over the horizon upon the various types of mobile home trailers of the park in question, the scene is taken to a two room trailer home propped up by numerous cinder blocks holding the mobile home above the ground. In the background Birds were perched atop the phone lines and cables around the area, with a few dogs digging through the trash cans belonging to the numerous trailers of the park.
"Ricky! Get your butt into gear!" A grouchy feminine voice yelled, prompting the flock of birds and dogs to flee from the sudden burst of noise.
Inside the trailer was a woman in her mid to late thirties wearing her diner work uniform, brewing up herself some coffee before heading out to begin her job at a waffle diner. In Her hair were curlers in her orange hair, the mother of Ricky yawn the tiredness away and began pouring herself a cup of coffee after the coffee maker finished its job.
Off in the direction of the inside of the trailer towards the bedrooms of the home, the sound of scuffling could be heard of clothes getting put on. Within a few moments later from out of one of the shut bedroom doors, Ricky tumbled out of his room with his usual attire of clothes. "Gotta get that alarm clock!" He muttered to himself with a bashful grin.
The mother of Ricky momentarily looked over at her son, before focusing back out her window of the Trailer's tiny kitchen section. "Keys should be hanging by the door." She told him with a blasé demeanor.
Ricky raced into the tiny bathroom of the trailer, before exiting soon after the sound of rushing water and teeth brushing were done. The teen ran over to the door to wave at his mom before taking the keys, "Love ya mom! Later!" He exclaimed with a pep in his step, before exiting the doorway.
Ricky's mother Helen, used to her son's antics by now, idly drank from her cup of coffee. "The boy needs to stop working so many jobs." She sighed to herself, before the sound of a diesel engine began starting up. Helen watched as a school bus began driving off into view from out of her window, and left through the entrance and exit of the Trailer park.
Helen had raised Ricky unfortunately as a single mother, but as her boy grew up, the son of her's had always had some crazy attitude towards life. Poor lot in life? Laugh at it and amuse himself with whatever life has available. Bullied at school? Bullies now regretted ever crossing Ricky. Need money? Take up a few jobs at an early age such as newspaper delivery boy.
It was rather nice of her boy to get them a better Trailer, but Helen hoped her boy was saving most of his money. It was bad enough they were stuck living in the lower income neighborhood, Helen sighs once more after finishing off her coffee to head out for her day job.
With Timmy
Walking up to the corner of the street to wait on his school bus, Timmy saw his two other friends had already made it before him. Chester and AJ were making some small chat before Chester noticed Timmy arriving, "Oh hey Timmy!" He waved and smiled with a brace filled mouth at his other friend.
AJ turned to look in Timmy's direction and offered his own wave, "Hey, what's up!" He remarked as Timmy finally reached the bus stop.
Timmy stopped to stand by AJ and looked towards his friends with a bored expression, "Just another boring school day if you're asking me." He responded to AJ with a tired demeanor.
In an effort to cheer up his friend, AJ made a move to pat Timmy on the Back. "Cheer up man, it's only eight more years for you guys." AJ remarked.
Timmy glanced at AJ with a grimace, "Yeah, but eight long years!" He disputed.
Chester chose that moment to derail the topic. "By the way guys, did you hear we have a new bus driver!?" He exclaimed with interest.
Timmy looked over at Chester with interest, "No, this is the first I heard of it."
AJ looked at Chester with a look of thought, "Do you know the name of the person?" He asked from Chester.
The boy's conversation was soon interrupted by the sounds of tire screeching and the motor of a diesel engine vastly approaching their corner of the streets, turning to look, they witnessed a school bus rounding the corner of the street before driving towards their direction. The three kids could hear the screams of children as the bus hauled ass towards its next stop, Timmy's eyes widened as he saw who was driving.
With an excited and amused expression, Ricky drove the school bus heading in their direction like a bat outta hell. The three of them instinctively dove away from the curb as the Bus made a sudden halt, causing the kids inside to let out shouts of fright. With a hiss of the engine and the doorway opening up leading into the bus, Ricky glanced in the three boy's direction. "Get your butts in gear and get on! We got a couple more stops to go!" Ricky exclaimed in excitement with a smile.
Timmy, Chester, and AJ looked at each other, before getting up off the ground to enter the bus begrudgingly. Once the kids entered the bus and took their seats, Ricky shut the door of the bus and slammed on the gas pedal. "YEEHAW!" Ricky shouted as he floored it to the next destination. The bus Ricky drove made a cartoonish arch of its body, before zooming off with the road getting folded and thrown up behind it as the bus's back tires pushed the diesel vehicle forward.
As the bus was driven by Ricky towards each next destination to pick up the kids for school, Various kids made shouts of fright, surprise, and a few were of thrills. Timmy and Chester sat on one seat together, gripping the edge of their bus seat with nausea; AJ sat over on the other seat with Elmor, AJ's body was stiff with fright while Elmor had a paper bag in hand that he occasionally puked into.
Sitting a few seats behind Timmy was Francis, the school bully, and was green in the face as he clutched onto the back of the seat in front of him. Francis promptly opened his window when his cheeks bulged, and puked up green chunks that splattered the windows from the rush of the wind as the bus drove at top speed.
Sitting in the far back were the popular kids, along with the bouncer that blocked off any unpopular kids from sitting in the popular seats. The disco ball and stereo that were once in pristine condition for the popular kids to enjoy were a wrecked mess from the violent jostling; the popular kids, with the bouncer included, released shrilling shrieks of fright as the bus drove up a hill and ramped up into the air before landing back down on the street.
AJ glanced over at Chester and Timmy with a concerned and sickly look, "How did this teen even get his license!?" He exclaimed before taking Elmor's paper back to puke into it.
Chester glanced over at AJ across the bus aisle, gripped the backrest of his seat with whitened knuckles, "Dude, have you seen how my dad drives?" He challenged AJ with a grin for himself to ease his nerves. "And he still has his license!" He added.
Sanjay, from a seat in front of Timmy and Chester, peaked over with a smile. "That's nothing, you should see what it's like over in India!" He disputed, before promptly getting shot up into the air from the bus ramping over another hill, and landed back down with a grunt of air escaping his lips and his eyes twirled after bumping his head into the roof of the bus.
Posing as two pencils in one of Timmy's backpack pockets, Wanda and Cosmo smiled over up at Timmy. Wanda was the first to speak up, "I have to say, that Ricky sure knows how to drive!" Cosmo's fairy wife mused to him, and giggled.
Cosmo smiled back at Wanda, "Remember our school bus days?" He asked.
Wanda frowned at Cosmo, "We didn't have school buses, we simply poofed ourselves to school." She corrected him with a quizzical look.
With a shocked look, Cosmo laughed it off. "Oh yeah!" he remarked, getting both of them to giggle at each other as the Bus was driven by Ricky to pick up the remaining kids for school.
Dimmsdale Elementary school
Kids strolled their way up into the school with several cars of Parents dropping their children off from the parking lot. The sound of a speeding school bus could be heard prompting the kids at the front of the school to dive for cover when they saw a speeding school bus with shouts of kids inside it heading directly at the school. The bus's tires screeched as its brakes were pulled and the front tires turned, the diesel vehicle swung its body around before parking directly at the front curb of the school.
With a hiss of the bus's engine calming down, the door of the bus folded open with a creak. "Alright! Everyone, off now!" Ricky shouted with a smirk of excitement as he looked behind him at the groaning passengers, the children had dizzying expressions as they made the arduous task of getting off the crazy bus ride.
Once every kid fully exited the bus, Ricky had the doors shut before zooming off once more. "YEEHAW!" His shout could be heard as the bus sped away off into the distance.
Timmy shook off his nausea, "Of all the people to drive the bus!" He exclaimed in shock, as he walked off with AJ and Chester into the school building.
Chester grinned at his friend, "But hey, at least we got here a little earlier!" Before frowning at himself, "Wait, why am I thinking that's a good thing?" He asked himself as the three of them entered through the school's front doorways.
AJ made a look of understanding, "Well…at least Mr. Crocker can't get on us for tardiness." He remarked, earning groans from the other two.
Timmy rolled his eyes in response, "Yeah, no pop quiz for tardiness." He added.
It was just another (read; almost normal) day at school like always, Timmy just hoped it wasn't going to be a bad school day.
