Bunk Television and rolling blackouts
It was another night with Timmy's parents gone for the night, which meant another night with a babysitter, or more accurately babysitters. Vicky wasn't the only one in the house, Ricky had been hired of all people to repair the living room television…
To stem the boredom, Timmy wished up a VR set and game to actually play inside a video game, he was starting to think he should have wished for an actual good game specifically.
Timmy shot a look up at Wanda floating in the air, after taking his virtual reality headset off, Cosmo was still looking like swiss cheese even after taking his helmet off. Timmy wanted a better and more challenging game than… "Fuzzy bunnies?" Timmy questioned Wanda, and swung his arms out in exasperation. "What am I four?" The godchild of Cosmo and Wanda asked with an annoyed look.
Before Wanda could respond, she poofed out of sight along with Cosmo when they could hear footsteps approaching Timmy's room. Kicking the door open with an angered look, Vicky glared over at Timmy with her fists clenched. "Hey! I heard happy!" The teen girl declared with a pointed look towards Timmy. "What's going on in here?" The babysitter asked suspiciously.
Standing by himself within his room, Timmy offered Vicky an innocent smile and look in return, "Uh…nothing! Just playing video games!" The fairy godchild responded back, his 'old' tv was behind him with a static screen.
Vicky grabbed the door knob of Timmy's room, and used her other hand to point her finger at Timmy. "Well keep it down!" The sitter demanded angrily, "Ricky's still trying to repair that busted television downstairs!" The teen declared, "You're happy noises are probably causing him to work slower!" Vicky yelled over at Timmy.
"Don't delude yourself Vicky! If anything, you're probably the reason this antiquated TV is busted, ha!" Ricky yelled from the living room, "That, or this busted butt television should've been replaced years ago! Hahah!" The other teen laughed at his predicament of repairing an old television.
Vicky grinded her teeth while glancing toward the direction of the stairs, before turning her head to look in that direction. "Nobody asked you!" The teen girl yelled, before slamming the door shut to Timmy's room.
"Just fix the stupid thing already!" Vicky snapped at Ricky as her voice trailed off while heading back downstairs.
Over in Timmy's fishbowl the was hidden behind the door that was once opened by Vicky, now that the door was shut, Cosmo and Wanda could be seen squeezed inside the fishbowl after forgetting to poof into goldfish. The two godparents had peculiar looks on their faces, Cosmo was the first to speak up. "That was close!" The fairy husband of Wanda remarked.
Wanda spoke next in response, "No, this is close." The fairy godmother of Timmy corrected on describing their situation as they were squeezed inside the fishbowl as themselves, and not as goldfish.
"I'm chafing!" Cosmo added with a smile with his semi-relevant comment.
Their attention was suddenly brought to the door when a loud boom and crash echoed from downstairs.
"I'm okay!" Ricky exclaimed with an amused tone.
Vicky could be heard letting out a squawk of disbelief and anger, "Now the television's smoking! How did you even make it explode?" The teen girl yelled.
"Hey…Um…yeah, I got nothing, hehe! Gonna have to call this in." Ricky responded with a chuckle.
Timmy rolled his eyes at the antics of Ricky, and glanced at his godparents. He needed to wish for a better game…
Downstairs
With an annoyed and aggravated look on her face, Vicky sent a death glare Ricky's way. "Weren't you supposed to be the one to fix the TV?" The teen demanded/Asked from Ricky.
Ricky looked over at Vicky from behind the broken television with a soot covered face, and comically frazzled up hair. "Well…yeah!" The teen responded in kind with a smile, "I just didn't think the Turner's Living room television would be this bunk!" The teenager responded to Vicky with a smarmy look.
"I'll show you Bunk! Now what am I supposed to do all night!?" Vicky shrieked as she stormed over towards Ricky, the other teen had focused his attention back to putting his tools away. Ricky stopped to look over at the other teen approaching him with a clueless look, "Uh…make do with a book?" He proposed his idea, before looking back to his toolbox to stash his tools away.
Vicky stood in front of the television and picked it up over her head, the teen girl had angry fire in her eyes as she grinned an evil smile down at Ricky. "Here! Take a closer look, you may have missed something!" The teen girl yelled, prompting Ricky to glance her way before Vicky slammed the TV onto the other Teen's head with a loud crash.
Ricky stood up with a stumble in his step while waving his arms to balance the increase in weight on his shoulders, Vicky couldn't help but laugh at Ricky's predicament.
"I don't know Vicky." Ricky responded with a muffled voice after he steadied himself in front of Vicky, "Why don't you take a look as well!" The teen exclaimed before slamming his TV head towards Vicky, who in turn gawked in shock before making a move to get out of the way.
With a loud crash, Ricky picked himself back up after slamming his 'Head' into the floor. "Come on Vicky! How 'bout you take a gander here!?" He yelled with an amused tone, before chasing after Vicky in the direction he heard her go.
Vicky allowed a malicious grin to form on her face, and stepped out of the way of Ricky silently to put her foot out and trip him. "Woah nelly!" Ricky cackled at himself as he tripped over Vicky's feet, and crashed out through the front window. The teen landed into the grass while the TV on his head finally shattered into pieces, Vicky stood inside the Turner's house by the front window to laugh at Ricky.
Hugging the wall at the front of the house were Chester and AJ, having come over to Timmy's house to play, only to duck out of sight when Vicky stood at the front window to laugh at the other teen. Chester, being the one closest to the front door, glanced over at AJ and began making gestures to silently follow him through the front door while Vicky was preoccupied.
As the two friends of Timmy's sneaked into the house, Ricky sprung himself up off the ground with a dirt and grass covered face now. "New idea! Just Replace the TV!" The Teen announced with a bright look on his face and finger up for his idea, Vicky crossed her arms in response and glowered at the Teen. "That's your idea?" She incredulously asked.
Ricky dug into his front pocket before getting out his flip phone, "Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till these rolling blackouts pass." The teenager added while he dialed on his phone.
Vicky had a deadpan look of skepticism, "Black outs?" She asked with an exhausted look, and her arms still crossed. "I see no rolling blackouts!" Vicky snapped at Ricky impatiently, and as if to answer her, the lights and electricity in the area flickered on and off. "I am not going to read any books to pass the time!" The teen girl vehemently denied the option.
Ricky tapped his foot while he waited for the other side of his call to be picked up, and momentarily glanced over at Vicky through the broken window. "Pretty sure it won't be long with the rolling blackouts, are you that pathetic to need Television soon?" Ricky teased Vicky with a snarky look.
Vicky glared in response, before heading off to sit on a sofa, "I hate you!" She grounded out through her gritted teeth, Vicky didn't like that she had to use her Teen Magazine for entertainment, but she didn't want to prove Ricky right on her impatience. The last thing she wants is to lose an argument with her nemesis/rival, "Stupid rolling blackouts!" The teen girl seethed.
AN; Just a short chapter this time, but some slapstick nonetheless
