Don't expect Crazy to Kowtow
Timmy stood with his two other friends, Chester and AJ, at the bus stop for another day to be taken to school. His two friends chatted away about the school lunch of the day, but his thoughts lately have been occupied about the popular Trixie Tang girl at school. He used to think girls were gross, but now things seemed to be different….maybe he should ask his dad? Mom?...nah, Timmy felt it might feel embarrassing if he confronts his parents and asks.
Timmy's thoughts were soon interrupted at the sound of screeching tires, accompanied by excited and frightened shouts of kids. Lately they've grown accustomed to the crazy driving of Ricky, most have even treated it as a street rollercoaster when the teenager drives through the streets with rolling hills.
Timmy, Chester and AJ watched from a safe distance on the sidewalk as the school bus rounded the corner of the street they were on, the transportation vehicle somehow spun around in place as it barreled through the street until the bus finally faced forward as it went forward towards its next bus stop.
The school bus's brakes made screeching noises as the vehicle came to an eventual halt, the diesel vehicle let off a hiss once Ricky halted the bus at their bus stop. With a creak of the bus doors, Ricky welcomed the boys with a manic grin. "Come on, come on! The day waits for no man!" The teenager exclaimed in excitement, prompting the boys to acquiesce and hop aboard the crazy train of a bus ride.
The school bus was filled with varying shouts of excitement and fright as Ricky drove the transportation vehicle from bus stop to bus stop, sitting in one of those seats were Timmy, Chester and AJ. Chester was the first to speak up as the bus was driven to the next stop, "Hey AJ!" He excitedly asked his friend sitting to his left at the end of the seat.
Looking up from his book he has been trying to read through the bumpy ride, but to no avail, AJ gave Chester a bored expression. "Yeah?" He asked his friend.
Chester gave AJ a smile as he continued his question with his friend, "Why did the orange go to the doctor?" He questioned AJ.
"Who cares?" AJ responded with an apathetic attitude, "It's just going to end in a pun." He remarked in a bored tone.
The bus stopped momentarily at that moment for the next bus stop, prompting Timmy to look out his window with an excited expression. "Oh my gosh, it's her!" He exclaims while sitting up a bit more, "Trixie Tang!" He remarked, earning an eye roll from Chester as he crossed his arms and glanced over at AJ with a frown. "Here we go again." The boy with braces exclaimed, before both of him and AJ began to mimic Timmy's repeated ways of him describing the popular girl.
Timmy clasped his hands with his friends copying him as he swooned for Trixie, "she is the prettiest girl in school." He declared, while Chester and AJ stopped mimicking him to cross their arms and give him annoyed looks. Timmy continued to regal his pining for the popular girl of his school, "And today, she is going to sit next to me!" He finished saying.
"What makes today any different?" AJ asked with a look of skepticism.
Timmy crossed his arms with a look of confidence, "Today she's gonna have a place to sit." He answered, and without warning he shoved his friends off from the bus seat he sat on. "Bye!" He adds in before he starts sprucing up the seat next to him. With a pink cushion to sit on, Timmy had a picture of Trixie placed atop the pillow with a reserved sign above the frame. He had his hands clasped as he waited for Trixy Tang to get on the bus and make her way towards him.
The popular girl known to most as Trixie Tang eventually arrived on the bus after entering through the opened folding doors, Ricky in the meanwhile was checking off his list for who's who he's picked up so far to take to school. Trixy tapped her feat in impatience, hoping the new bus driver had gotten the memo of announcing her arrival. The last one did, surely the teenager kowtowed to popular kids.
Ricky glanced her way finally, only to give her an odd look. "Take a seat already kid!" He gestured for her to get going, "I still have places to go!" He exclaimed with a cheeky grin, before shutting the bus's folding door
Trixie coughed into her fist, trying to get the bus driver's attention again. Ricky glanced her way again, "Better check the cough kid-" the teenager began to say, only for Trixie to interrupt him.
"Aren't you going to announce my presence on the bus?" The popular girl asked the teen in incredulity, her arms up in exasperation.
Ricky blinked twice, before holding out his palm. "Fifty bucks." He responded flatly.
Trixie tilted a bit in disbelief, "You can't be serious!" She spoke with shock.
The teenager rubbed his thumb against his fingers, he smirked at the popular girl. "Fifty bucks for basic introduction, sixty for the 'rumble' impersonation introduction, and one hundred for a good Broadway musical intro." Ricky listed off his intro prices for Trixie.
Ricky looked at Trixie who had a dumbfounded look on her face, he continued with a different pitch. "I have a brochure with several introductory packages, with added optional pay installments!" The teenager added with a cheeky grin, while he held up said brochure.
"Don't you know who I am?" Trixie screeched at Ricky, who simply grinned back at her. "I'm Trixie Tang, the most popular girl in school!" She tried to reason with the teen
Ricky thumbed at himself, "And I'm Ricky, Crazy Ricky, owner of Crazy Ricky's Odd Services!" The teenager announced to her with a cheeky grin.
Trixie glowered at Ricky, before stomping off to take her seat. "You'll hear from my dad after this!" She yelled.
"Mister Tang is already acquainted with me." Ricky hollered back with a smarmy tone, "Asks how his car runs now!" The teen asked her
Trixie made it a point to ignore the 'bus driver', he wasn't popular if he was stuck driving a bus of all things. The popular elementary school girl waltzed past the two popular boys, not bothering to return the hello they said to her. Trixie was too frustrated now of not getting an introduction like she used to always get with the old bus driver, who the heck did that new bus driver think he was to treat her like that!?
Back over with Timmy, the boy was about to offer Trixie Tang the empty spot next to him, only for her to storm off towards the back before he could get a word in. With the empty spot next to Timmy not taken by the popular girl, Chester and AJ took the que to hop back onto their spot.
"I don't understand, what was that all about?" Timmy asked his friends in confusion.
Chester smirked at Timmy in amusement, "Crazy Ricky is what happened!" The brace filled mouth kid reasoned with his friend.
Timmy gave Chester an odd look, "But how could he treat Trixie Tang like that!?" He asked with an incredulous look.
AJ rolled his eyes at Timmy, "Timmy, you're talking about a crazy teen, who of which I'm pretty sure he's seen better popular girls at his school."
Timmy released a sigh to himself, he supposed he'd have better luck later on in school to talk to Trixie Tang.
AN; Ladies and gentleman, coming in from the right through the bus doors...iiiiitttttssss Craaaazzzzyyy Riiiccckkkyyy!
