Chapter 03. Challenges everywhere, learn to be brave, the awakening system
In the beautiful morning Yushai is seen making breakfast so he can get ready for school soon the rest of the family came down and then everyone started eating breakfast together, once they were done all of them left the house.
Yushai and Tina are seen heading to school, once they arrived the two headed to there home rooms then it was time for class as the teacher introduce a new student, Yushai was surprised by who it was.
Yushai: huh? Krystina?
Teacher: Ms, please introduce yourself.
Krystina: hello everyone, my name is Krystina Terra please to meet you all.
Teacher: alright Ms Krystina, your sit is right next to Yushai.
Krystina: yes sir.
Then Krystina walked to her desk that was next to Yushai who greet her, she greets him back which confuses everyone on how the two know each other, the teacher tells them all it was time for class to start.
After a few hours it was time for lunch, Yushai is seen eating along with Tina as they talk.
Tina: Yushai, you seem to be busy for something? Does this has to do with GBN?
Yushai: sort of there to be a new event that is going to happen soon which a lot of players will show up so I decided to try and see how far I can go in it.
Tina: I see that would explain a lot of things, by the way everyone around school are talking about how you and the transfer student know each other and I want to know too.
As Yushai was about to talk about that a familiar voice called out to him, it was Krystina.
Yushai: Krystina?
Krystina: hi Yushai, it's nice that I found you.
Yushai: you were looking for me? Is there something wrong?
Krystina: well… I wonder if you can show me what GBN is, after school.
Tina: ?
Yushai: hmmm… well I think I can do that, but we'll have to go to the arcade game center and use there dive system since you don't have one.
Krystina: okay, I'll wait for you after school is over so we can go together.
Yushai: alright I'll see you after school.
Krystina: that's good bye.
Yushai: bye.
Then Krystina left and headed back to Yushai does the same, unknown to him his sister is secretly giggling that her brother is going on a date with a girl and is so going to tell there parents about this.
A few hours later school was over and it was time for everyone to head on home, Yushai is seen walking to Krystina so they can go together to the arcade center, Tina calls both there parents about what is happening right now.
Soon the two was at the shopping center and got a pass to use the GBN system, the two puts on the Diver goggles and Yushai puts his Gunpla on the scanner then they dived into GBN.

The two then finds themselves inside GBN Krystina was amazed by how real the Nexus is and seeing so many people here as well as seeing many different types of Gunpla.
Krystina: this is incredible…
Yushai: well I felt the same way you feel when I came here as well.
Krystina: so where are we going?
Yushai: well there's an event that is about to happen soon do you want to go with me there?
Krystina: I would like to.
Yushai: okay then follow me.
The two stepped out of the center then Yushai summons Astaroth which surprised Krystina of what she is seeing a full on life robot in front of her, then the two teleported inside the machine and started heading to the event area, as they do Krystina sees how vest the Nexus is along with a huge city below them and gates that can take them to different regions as well, the two then arrived at the event where a lot of players, Yushai puts Krystina with the rest of the people who will watch the event.
Krystina: good luck Yushai.
Yushai: thanks Krystina.
(Armored Core 4 Agitator)
Then the event began as many people started fighting against each other Yushai takes down many players and got many points.
Yushai: I'm doing good, just got to keep it up.
The battle continues on as many players are taken down and the best ones are left in the event, Yushai continues on and still among the best players left until there was now ten left the remaining ones then decided to jump on Yushai so they can win.
Yushai: huh? Are those guys working together?
Players: sorry kid… but we're going to win this event!
Players: let's get him!
The group then started attacking Yushai as he fires his weapons back at them but they dodges his attacks, as they continue to damage his Astaroth.
Yushai: guhh…
Krystina: Yushai…
Astaroth is then knocked down to the ground and is on its last leg as the rest of the enemy's prepare to finish him off.
Yushai: I'm not going down like this…
Then he felt something as if it's telling him to keep on fighting on even if the odds are against him.
Yushai: let's go Astaroth, we aren't done yet!

Then Astaroth glowed and it's abilities then went up as it dodges the attacks at the last minute, everyone was confused and shocked by what there seeing as the Gunpla was doing movements that it can't do before.
Players: what the!?
Players: how's he able to do that does he has some weird system or something!?
Players: look out!
Astaroth quickly takes down two foes with its rifles then the next two with its knives everyone is wondering how the Gunpla is doing this, Krystina is also amazed by how Yushai is fighting its like a fire that is moving very fast and taking down its foes like a beast, then there were two of them left.
Players: we aren't going down so easily!
Players: we are the ones who are going to win!
Yushai: fight more, fight more fight more! Astaroth!
Then something unexpected happens almost like the Gunpla is responding to the will of it's battler as a red flame like sword formed in its hands, everyone was shocked by this, then Astaroth brings it down a slashes the last two enemies to pieces defeating them and winning the event.
Announcement: winner! Yushai!
(End of music)
Everyone cheers after seeing such an incredible event, Astaroth then return to its natural colors Krystina smiles and is happy that Yushai won his first event.
Then the two logged out of the Nexus as they soon headed on home after a long day.
Krystina: that was an incredible event, how did you do that Yushai?
Yushai: I don't know… I just suddenly felt the urge to fight more and it was like something was pushing me forward then… something just snapped.
Krystina: so you don't know what happened?
Yushai: no I don't…
Krystina: hmmm… well either way it was an incredible to watch and I'm sure the creator and the people will look into it, well it is time I head on home thank you for today Yushai.
Yushai: yeah see you later Krystina.
The two then went on home as they do someone is seen in the shadows are watching Yushai.
?: so he to has the potential to use the awakening system… this is going to be interesting.
Then everything fades to black.

To nexusknight2: Krystina does not like how the pro I.S girls are hurting others for no reason and she is definitely amazed by the world of GBN, if those guys saw what Astaroth did they would feel like they are watching a demon destroying many enemies that would get in its way.
