Instead of Steaks, why not a Barbecue Restaurant?

Doyle snoozed away on the sofa couch while Timmy surfed through a few channels on the living room television, he held within his grasp the remote that he occasionally pressed the buttons to switch through channels. "Man." Timmy began to say with a bored expression, "Nothing's on tonight!" He mused with annoyance, Crash Nebula wasn't on yet and most of the sitcoms were garbage.

From within the kitchen of the Turner's house, Timmy could still hear the two teens brawl throughout the dining room and back into the kitchen.

"Here, if you're so adamant on getting a steak for your dog, cook it outside in the rain!" Ricky guffawed with excitement as Timmy could hear the kitchen backyard door open up.

"The heck I will! You go outside and cook the steak!" Vicky yelled back with a frustrated tone, and the sound of a fist hitting flesh. "And have a knuckle sandwich for your side dish!"

"Mlphets mpustph-" Ricky could be heard speaking in a muffled way.

"Ew, You got slobber all over my fist!" Vicky snapped with disgust.

"Heh, not my fault you planted your fist into my face." Ricky retorted with amusement in his voice.

Over with Timmy, he turned the volume up a bit more once he landed on a new episode of Maho Mushi, "sweet!" Timmy rejoiced as he sat back to enjoy a rerun of the DigiTourni arc; It was annoying to see the show hadn't yet continued on after the Heater arc, but at least the Tournament Arc was good.

Timmy's attention however was interrupted as a loud punch echoed from the kitchen, followed by a 'flying' Vicky that shrieked in shock as she was punched out from the kitchen and through the living room. The teenage girl landed near the front door with a grunt of pain, Vicky abruptly had to pick herself up as Ricky…

Alarm bells went off in Vicky's mind as Ricky somehow drove a golf cart out of the kitchen and towards her, "What's wrong with you!?" She incredulously asked with shock as Vicky made a run for the door, while Ricky slammed the pedal down on the gold cart to increase the speed. "Come on Vicky, I just wanna show you the speed on this thing l!" Ricky uproariously hollered with a grin as he chased Vicky to the front yard through the rain.

Timmy hopped up and stood on the couch to look outside, and see Vicky run through the yard while Ricky drove around with the golf cart. "Dang it Ricky, this isn't funny!" Vicky yelled from outside as Ricky spun his vehicle around in a donut circle through the lawn to chase after Vicky.

Rolling his eyes with exasperation, Timmy turned around to sit back down and watch television. He, however, jumped in shock when an explosion went off from the front lawn. "Hah, serves you right!" Vicky remarked with amusement at Ricky's expense.

"Hey, not my fault the engine blew up on me!" Ricky exclaimed with a cackle of laughter, before stopping to speak after snapping his fingers. "Hey, how do you feel about barbecue?"

"What the, what kind of question is that? We're fighting here!" Vicky snapped irritably at Ricky.

"Yo Timmy, how do you feel about pulled pork?" Ricky hollered out to the Turner's house from outside, prompting Timmy to hop off the sofa couch and walk over to the opened front door with a confused look on his face. "Don't ignore me!" Vicky yelled at Ricky before Timmy responded.

"I don't know." Timmy shrugged with his arms up a bit in his haphazard shrug. "Which place are you talking about for barbecue?" He asked the teenager.

The view that Timmy had been greeted to was a turned over golf cart that had Ricky pinned under it, while the engine exuded black smoke in the rain. Vicky and Ricky's faces were scuffed with some bruises around their eyes; As Ricky responded to Timmy while pinned under the golf cart, the engine caught aflame while the teenager grinned at Timmy as he answered the boy "Joe's, best place for Ribs too!"

Timmy smiled excitedly and raced back inside, "You bet, let me get my raincoat!" He exclaimed from inside, leaving Vicky and Ricky alone in the Rain.

Vicky scoffed with a sneer while her fists clenched at her sides, "You can't just go and take the twerp to eat dinner, I'm supposed to watch him!" She exclaimed with her arms up in exasperation, Ricky simply looked back at Vicky with a grin as he pulled himself from out under the burning golf cart.

"Wanna come?" Ricky asked Vicky with a cheeky grin while he pulled an umbrella out from the golf caddy in the back of the burning golf cart, Vicky gave Ricky an annoyed look right back while she crossed her arms.

"This was supposed to be Doyle's night before his veterinarian visit tomorrow!" Vicky snapped at Ricky, and threw her arms out in exasperation again. "Why would I come with you to some lame Barbecue joint?" She irritably asked Ricky.

Before Vicky could respond, Timmy came back out the front door with a raincoat and boots on. "Ready!" He exclaimed in excitement as he made a beeline for Ricky's work Van, only to stop when Vicky stepped over in his way with a menacing look at him and her fists back at her sides. "Not so fast Twerp!" Vicky yelled at him in anger, Timmy glanced over at Ricky with a questioning look.

Vicky turned to face Ricky with an annoyed look, "No one's leaving, and that's final!" She bit out.

Ricky simply blinked a few times at Vicky while Timmy snuck around the two as the two teens got into each other's faces, Doyle began barking from the opened front door with an excited expression while wagging his tail. Vicky pointed at the house with an angered snarl, "No one's leaving!" She exclaimed.

Ricky grinned right back and grabbed her by the shoulder, "Come on Vicky, stop being a wet blanket and come along!" He responded, and pulled her along with him before she could retort. Vicky squawked in shock as she was then carried off, and was then thrown into the opened passenger door that Timmy had opened. "Aahhh!" The teenage girl shrieked as she was thrown.

Timmy simply had a smile on his face and shut the door on Vicky, he then opened the sliding door of the van to sit on the wide backseat. Vicky let out a groan of dizziness from being thrown in such a way, she had somehow landed inside to sit in the seat without having to reorient herself. Ricky on the other hand had left, before returning with Doyle on a leash and led the dog over to sit by Timmy.

Ricky held the leash out for Timmy to grab, "Alright squirt, keep a hold of this would ya?" He inquired of Timmy, prompting said kid to give Ricky a confused look.

"Why are we taking Doyle?" Timmy asked Ricky as the dog hopped in to sit with him while he grabbed and held the leash, the teen offered a grin before he explained the reason. "Joe's Barbecue has a kennel for customers to bring their dogs, and partake in some choice bones and meat!"

"Huh." Timmy mused with a smile, "That's nice…" he remarked before Ricky shut the sliding door, and made his way to the driver's side. Timmy looked over at Doyle with a grin, "Hear that buddy! Ribs!" He exclaimed, earning an excited bark from Doyle.

"WHERE'D YOU LEARN TO DRIVE!?" Vicky shrieked as she held onto the seat under her, the teenage girl had just came to once Ricky drove onto the highway. In the back and used to the Teen's driving by now, Timmy had to occasionally catch Doyle from getting tossed around as Ricky swerved through traffic. The windshield wipers were at max speed as the van was driven through a heavy rainstorm, the van's wheels seemingly had no issue with traction in the rain.

Turned to look at Vicky with a hand on the steering wheel, Ricky grinned at her. "Practice and understanding of Dimmsdale traffic!" He excitedly explained to Vicky, only to have her place her hands on his face and forcibly turn his head with fright in her eyes.

"THE ROAD MORON!" Vicky yelled in fright as she held Ricky's head to face the front, only to get the teenager to take his hand off the wheel and remove her hands off him.

Ricky gave Vicky a displeased look as he forcefully held the teenage girl's hands away from him, "Vicky, you can't just do that to someone that is driving." He chided her.

Meanwhile behind a billboard that Ricky's van was about to pass by, it was the Senior officer and Rookie once again who were in the midst of eating a few donuts and coffee for a late night stakeout later. Just as the Rookie was about to bite into his donut, he stopped when he saw a speeding Van with. The deputy looked over at the senior officer at the driver's side. "Sir, that kid was speeding without both hands on the wheel!"

The senior officer shook his head, "That vehicle was going at the speed limit." He responded, before adding in, "And that driver could be driving with just his buttcheeks for all I care." The senior officer explained while pointing at the Rookie with his donut in hand.

Just as the Senior officer was taking a sip from his coffee, a speeding car went by that was five miles above the speed limit. The senior officer spat out his coffee, "Good merciful bologna of a ham sandwich!" The police man exclaimed while he started up the police car, "Alright Rookie, time to earn your experience here!" The senior officer said before zooming off into police chase with the speeding car.

Back with the others, Vicky perked up and grinned at Ricky when the sound of police sirens could be heard. "See, here they come for you now!" She said before speeding car zoomed past them, it was a granny that shook her fist out her window. "You'll never catch me!" The granny yelled as she drove past Ricky's van, earning Vicky to look on in confusion as a squad of police cars zoomed past them as well.

"...What, I don't, what's going on!?" Vicky asked and blinked in confusion as she watched more police cars zoom past them.

"Dimmsdale Highway Traffic." Ricky and Timmy cheekily answered, causing Vicky to question what was wrong with the law on the highway.

Joe's Barbecue

"That was quite the drive!" Ricky exclaimed after he parked the van, Timmy had unbuckled himself before exiting the vehicle while Ricky and Vicky exited as well. With Doyle's leash in one of his hands, Timmy hopped out and shut the side door after Vicky's pet hopped down after him. The rain was still coming down, prompting Ricky to carry with him an umbrella and open it over him.

"How and why did you ramp off a billboard!" Vicky snapped at Ricky as she braced herself against the van to ease the jello feeling out of her legs, she gazed over at Ricky as he walked around to meet them on the passenger side of the van. The teenage boy held his umbrella up over the two with a cheeky grin, "Practice and practicality!" Ricky responded while Vicky squeezed the water from out of her air.

Vicky glowered at him, "I'm driving the ride home!" She bit out heatedly, and Followed with Ricky under the Umbrella he held up. With Timmy and Doyle not far behind, the boy had his raincoat hood up with an excited expression as he followed the teens towards the restaurant.

"This is gonna be great!" Timmy declared as he pulled an excited Doyle on a leash with him, "Mom and Dad never bring me when they go here!" He exclaimed.

"The Ribs and pulled pork better be worth that insane driving of yours!" Vicky snapped at Ricky as the group approached the Barbecue Restaurant through the rain.

Once the group reached the front door with an awning roof that wrapped around the building, Ricky closed his umbrella up before opening the door for everyone. "Joe's Ribs won the rib cook off during the summer, so it's definitely gotta be good!" He responded to Vicky as she entered through the front double doors with Timmy and Doyle not far behind, "Not sure how it is state wide though." The teen added with a contemplative look on his face while he entered the restaurant with the others.

AN; I have seen two Barbecue enthusiasts get into a cook off to see who makes better ribs...
