Some Crazy DIY

Timmy exited out from the kitchen after eating his breakfast, his destination being the living room sofa to watch a few cartoons on a Saturday morning. Sure, he had his own, wish granted, nicer television in his own room, but he wanted to relax on the sofa of the living room. However at the moment as he approached the sofa of the living room, Timmy made a curious expression when he saw his dad watching the Television with a notepad and pencil in hand.

Mister Turner smiled as he glanced at Timmy, "Check it out sport! I just found this great channel on making your own stuff at home!" He exclaimed with cheer, urging his son to hop onto the sofa with enthusiasm.

Timmy blinked momentarily and walked over to hop onto and sit, "What do you mean?" He asked his dad while the television was airing commercial breaks.

Timmy's dad placed his finger to his lips in a shushing manner, "It's back on!" He said afterwards then held his notepad and pencil at the ready.

The return of the supposed show was signified by showing a pile of metal scrap within a junkyard, followed by the sound of a bulldozer pushing the pile to the side…driven by…

"Hey, isn't that-" Timmy began to say with curious tone and expression, only for the show to announce it's return the next moment with the appearance of the show's title in bold letters where the pile of scrap once was.

Crazy Ricky's DIY projects.

The show then transitioned with a shower of duct tape rolls, then showed a rather…more organized, at the very least, scrap yard, with a large wooden workbench and tools strewn all over the place atop other metal tables and such. Walking into the scene was Ricky with smudge marks all over his face and arms, the teen was in his overalls once again and had a haphazard tool belt around his waist.

"Welcome back!" Ricky began to say with an excited smile as he approached his wooden work bench, "And for those that are new, never doubt a crazy idea!" The teenager declared maniacally with a cheerful grin as he leaned forward onto the workbench with his hands.

As Ricky went into some detail on future ideas on what to make, Timmy couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the prospect of the Teenager being on television. How did Ricky even accomplish the feat of getting his own show, was it really that simple? Timmy then looked at the channel number on the upper corner of the television screen, oh, a public access channel…that made sense.

Timmy focused his attention back onto the show, allowing him to see the camera was panning over with Ricky as the Teen walked over towards a rundown car. "Now, there comes a time when a man needs more than just a car, correct?"

Timmy's dad stood up with excitement, "You bet!" His dad agreed.

Ricky promptly kicked the back of the car, and the trunk opened up while he continued to speak and rummaged through said trunk. "And you gotta show up your neighbor, right?" The teenager asked while his voice was muffled a bit while he climbed into the trunk to keep searching for whatever he was looking for.

Timmy's dad smiled and threw his arms up in excitement, tossing his notepad and pencil in the process. "Yes, yes, yes!"

The teenager then climbed back out of the trunk with a chainsaw in hand, "Allow me to show you how to make a convertible, with a retractable roof." Ricky declared with a manic grin while he pulled out a pair of safety goggles, "And as always, Safety first." He suggested before the teen revved his chainsaw up, "YOU'LL BE NEEDING A FEW OTHER THINGS, BUT WE'LL COME ACROSS THEM AS WE GO ALONG!" Ricky excitedly yelled over the sound of the chainsaw's engine.

Timmy gawked in incredulity as his dad ran up to the television, and began pushing the TV out to the garage. "Tell your mom I'll be busy if she asks about the Television or me!" His dad declared. He blinked momentarily before choosing to check on Ricky's place, he doubted the broadcast was live.

The broadcast was in fact, Live, but Timmy wouldn't find out until he reached the place where Ricky was.

Taking his wish granted scooter for a ride, Timmy's helmet was Cosmo while Wanda was posing as his backpack. With Ricky's storage/office in sight just down the road, Cosmo smiled as he looked down as he posed as a helmet. "So Timmy, what's this all about anyway?" He asked his fairy godchild

Timmy simply returned a smile of his own as he continued driving his scooter, "I'm just curious afterall, and besides…" he tailed off as he drove his motorized scooter up to the open entrance of Ricky's place, "It's not like I got anything else in mind to do today."

Wanda gave a sideways look towards Timmy while she posed as a pink backpack, her expression was that of inquisitiveness. "Why not just wish for something fun to do?" She asked Timmy with an amused smile.

As Timmy parked his Scooter in one of the parking spaces in front of the office of the storage depot, he responded back to Wanda after hopping off his scooter. "I already wished for a trampoline and video games this morning!" He reasoned to his fairy godmother while approaching the front door of the office.

The sound of continuous use of a chainsaw however from around the back brought Timmy's attention away from his attempt of knocking on the office door, and prompted him and his curiosity to seek the cause of the ruckus.

What sight Timmy was treated to, was of Ricky in a 'finished' convertible he had made, the teenager had a cameraman filming/broadcasting the spectacle of a DIY project.

"And that's how you make your own convertible!" Ricky declared with a grin while he sat in the driver's seat, the car's roof had been sawed off with a rather preposterous looking contraption on the back. "And let's not forget that retractable roof!" The teen excitedly declared with a finger in the air at his declaration, before pulling an installed lever to his right.

Soon enough, the sight of a duct taped contraption rose up from the back of the vehicle, and creaked over until it now acted as the car's roof. Ricky leaned out from the window with a smirk towards the video camera, "And remember, nothing is impossible, you're just not crazy enough to think of a better idea!" He cracked a laugh before the camera man signaled they were now on commercial break.

Ricky exited out from the vehicle he was in, and shut the door while the camera man walked away with a smoothy in hand. The teen faced his 'audience', and grinned excitedly at Timmy. "Hey squirt!" Ricky said while waltzing up to him.

Timmy looked up at Ricky as the teenager approached him, "Hey Ricky…uh…how long have you been doing…" He began to ask from the teenager while gesturing to the place around them, "This?"

Ricky puffed his chest out with pride, "Last year in fact!" He responded with excitement.

Timmy wasn't sure what to say next, his dad was already a DIY nut, now Ricky was airing project ideas of all things. "You do know my dad watches your program, right?" He asked Ricky inquisitively.

The teen simply gave Timmy an excited expression, "Hey, maybe he and I should Collaborate on the next episode!"

Timmy gave Ricky a deadpan look, that idea already screamed terrible. "How about no, if you haven't noticed, my dad isn't the best at DIY projects."

Ricky tutted in disappointment at Timmy while shaking his head negatively, "Thenceforth, we shall bring your dad here today, for the wonders of duct tape solve everything my fair child!" The teen declared dramatically with his fist planted on his hip, while his other hand was in the air with his finger out.

"Please don't!" Timmy begged warily.

Ricky looked down at Timmy disappointedly, "Don't be a Debbie downer, now let's go!"

Backing away, Timmy waved his hands negatively, "Uh no thanks…" He tried to say, just before Ricky picked him up by grabbing Wanda posing as his backpack. "Wait-Ahhh!" Yelled Timmy as he was carried off and tossed into the convertible that had its roof retracted back down.

"Buckle in please!" Ricky told Timmy who reluctantly acquiesced while the teenager hopped into the driver's side, "This won't fall apart on the highway, will it?" Timmy asked Ricky after he buckled himself in.

Once Ricky fixed his rearview mirror, he leaned around to look at Timmy who had now had his helmet and backpack off and placed off to the side. The teenager gave Timmy an excited smile, "If it's not Ricky made, it's not highway safe!" He responded with a smile, before turning around to start his vehicle up and drive off.

Once the vehicle was out of sight, Norm could be seen off to the side at the food table. The Genie posing as a human…which didn't need much seeing as how his size was of an average human, he just needed legs. Norm had a macchiato soft serve in hand, and sipped away the contents of his drink. The genie placed his drink down to momentarily speak his thoughts to himself, "Pretty sure that vehicle is rated fairy road safe too…and that's saying something." He snarked with an amused smirk.
