Initial D be Crazy in Dimmsdale
On the front passenger seat of Ricky's 'convertible', Timmy dug his fingers in the seat with trepidation as Ricky swerved through traffic of the city. The Teenager was running yellow lights just before they turned red, Timmy half pondered how Ricky would fare as a race car driver…
'Note to self, try making a wish of Ricky being a racer…" Timmy thought to himself mentally.
His musings were soon interrupted when Timmy watched as Ricky was flipping several switches on the dashboard of the car, he glanced up over at the teenager with a questioning gaze before proceeding to ask Ricky a question. "What was that all about?" Timmy asked curiously towards Ricky.
While keeping one hand on the steering wheel, Ricky faced Timmy while grabbing at a stick shift that was situated between them. The teenager gave Timmy an excited look while shifting the stick he had placed his hand onto, "You'll see!" Ricky exclaimed with giddy, earning a wary look from Timmy.
Just as Timmy was about to inquire more from Ricky, his heart skipped a beat when the teenager steered towards a guardrail that blocked off Traffic from steering into an underground subway railway system. With another shifting of gears from Ricky, the vehicle managed to hop and fly over the railings and land onto the subway tracks.
Timmy gulped in fright as Ricky continued to drive the vehicle into the tunnel of the subway tracks, surprisingly enough Timmy wasn't feeling the bumps as the vehicle was being driven along the tracks.
"Liking the smooth ride!?" Ricky asked Timmy excitedly as he drove his vehicle through the tunnel, "I call it crazy shocks, my own brand!"
Timmy however glanced over at Ricky before he asked, "Shouldn't you be worried about the subway cars?"
"Got both seatbelts on?" Ricky simply responded back with while smiling the whole time and kept his gaze forward.
Timmy quickly looked around on his seat and found the second seatbelt, he didn't bother asking why he'd need a second seat belt that crossed over the first one he had on. After a quick bit of fumbling around to buckle himself in with the secondary seat belt, Timmy released a sigh of relief and smiled up at Ricky. "I do now!"
The sound of an incoming train headed towards their direction brought Timmy's attention, he began to sweat while glancing momentarily at Ricky. "Uh, what's the plan here Ricky?"
"Plan is, hold tight!" Ricky answered back to Timmy while he flipped a few switches on the dashboard, and with an increase in speed Ricky steered to the side until the vehicle began to list upwards on its left. Timmy's eyes dilated as he realized what Ricky was doing, "Are you nuts!" He exclaimed while grabbing onto his seat.
As Ricky drove his car up the side of the tunnel wall until the car drove upside down on the tunnel's ceiling, "No. Just crazy! Hah!" Ricky responded with a cackle of laughter while he drove his car over a passing subway, "Behold the ingenuity of crazy Ricky, bwahaha!" The teen exclaimed through the cacophony of sounds echoing through the subway tunnel.
Timmy wasn't sure why, but at that moment he felt like going with the flow and releasing his grip onto his seat. The seat belts held him in quite firmly, and he wasn't sure how everything managed to hold him in Safely. The whole ride felt surreal as he rode within the vehicle upside down, he could feel the rush of wind as Ricky drove along the ceiling of the subway tunnel and the subway train itself that zoomed past them along the tracks.
Vicky's home
Vicky had an expression of annoyance as she held within her grasp a hose, the teen had her thumb over the end to increase the pressure so she could wash off her 'new' car parked on the driveway of her parents' home. She'd show Ricky who was the better driver, starting with owning her own car. It was a simple red Volkswagen Beetle she managed to nab, *cough* legitimately coerced, no…
She terrified (Read; torture and threaten with blackmail of the salesman's shady dealings) the sleazy car dealer for a dirt cheap price on her car, yes, that's what she meant. The rat faced salesman tried to sell her the overpriced car, especially even with how the vehicle was in poor condition. Solution?
Pull in a favor from Ricky, as much as she was annoyed with the fellow teen, Vicky can't deny the guy can repair a car pretty well. Said favor of course was one of many owed in Ricky's attempt to pacify her anger for Valentine's day from two years ago. Vicky smirked contentedly as she cleaned off the last bits of soap suds, she would have forced the kids she babysat to wash her car, but she'd be darn if she'd let some brat mess up on a car she'd bought with her own money….
Okay fine! She took it from the Rat faced Salesman, but the point still stands. The vehicle was hers, all for the 'haggled' price of a hundred dollars. Vicky smirked for herself as she tossed the hose aside, "Nobody haggles like me." She stated proudly, before making her way to the house spicket and turn the water off.
As Vicky turned the nozzle off, she frowned in confusion when the faucet shook after she shut the valve off. "Huh." She murmured to herself with an eyebrow raise in befuddlement. Vicky simply shrugged it off and walked back to her car to back it out and park it at the curbside, once she had parked her car at the curbside and stepped back out, the teenage girl made an expression of confusion when the road began to shake a bit and the sewer lid just down the road bounced around on its' rim.
The entire event seemed to calm down a bit after a few more moments, prompting Vicky to shrug it all off and begin to head back inside her home. Just as she was about to turn a walk away, Vicky squawked in disbelief as the sewer lid blew off and landed into a nearby tree. The street around the sewer hole cracked and buckled like something was pushing its way out, from out of the 'stretched' sewer hole a subway tunnel rose out of the street.
Vicky stepped back a bit in reflex when the sound of a vehicle approached the end, she gawked in shock as she witnessed a car ramp out of the tunnel and onto the street. Vicky made a noise of annoyance when she saw who was driving the car, and continued to drive said vehicle off into the distance.
Looking momentarily back to the subway tunnel, Vicky witnessed the entire thing fall back down into the ground. Turning around to check on her own vehicle, Vicky made a frustrated growl when she saw her car was dirty again from the displacement of dirt the entire debacle caused. Taking her keys back out of her pocket, Vicky entered back into her Volkswagen to chase after Ricky to demand compensation.
Highway
"How was all that driving through the subway shortcut, if you were just going to drive on the highway?!" Timmy exclaimed through the rushing air as Ricky sped through the highway, the teen had the 'convertible' down still.
As Ricky swerved and weaved through traffic, he had a grin on his face as he responded. "ADVENTURE!" He reasoned with Timmy.
"That doesn't answer anything!" Timmy declared with annoyance in his tone.
Ricky made a serious face all of a sudden while he responded back to Timmy, "Young you are, much to learn you still have on driving." The teen said in a weird tone of voice.
Before Timmy could say anything more, a car had sped up to the left side of Ricky's vehicle with the windows down. Inside was Vicky as she began to honk, "PARK OVER SO I CAN-" The teenager tried to yell over at Ricky
Ricky interrupted Vicky once he faced her, "WHAT?" He yelled with a confused face as he cupped his ear.
Vicky released a growl of anger before yelling once more, "MOVE ASIDE AND PARK, I'M GOING TO TEAR YOU-"
"You wanna race?" Ricky questioned Vicky as the two continued to drive side by side, while occasionally swerving around any car that would be in the way.
"PARK!" Vicky yelled at Ricky from in her car.
Ricky simply grinned excitedly at Vicky, "OHO! YOU WANNA RACE!? YOU'RE ON!" he yelled with glee and gunned the gas pedal with a mighty rev of his vehicle's engine.
Vicky gawked once again as Ricky sped off through the highway, she gripped her steering wheel with anger and raced after Ricky. "The heck I'll let you win a race against me!" She snarled as she caught up with Ricky in an impromptu race, completely forgetting her original reason for chasing after Ricky.
Not far up ahead on the highway, Commissioner Ramsay and Deputy Fieri were enjoying lunch, Ramsay made a sound of disgust after he bit into his hamburger. The commissioner rolled his window down and spat his food out, "What awful crap is this?!" He exclaimed with anger and glared at the leftover burger, "It's so raw, it's freakin mooing!"
Over on the passenger side, Deputy Fieri looked up from his box of buffalo wings. The man wiped his mouth up before speaking to his superior, "Well, you did ask for medium rare." He remarked candidly.
Commission Ramsay faced Deputy Fieri with a look of annoyance, "I asked for medium! This crap is still chewing the grass!" He yelled and tossed the rest of his lunch out the window, but kept the wrapper to toss into the trash.
Both men's attention was then brought to two speeding cars as the vehicles zoomed past them, Deputy Fieri checked the speedometer scanner and whistled. "Hundred miles an hour. What's the call boss?" He asked the commissioner while he closed his box of wings, and wiped his fingers off with a napkin.
Taking a moment to look at the speedometer himself, Commissioner Ramsay shook his head. "Speed limit was raised to hundred ten last week, something about the police force cracking down too much on speeding cars." He griped exhaustively and annoyedly.
Deputy Fieri made a sound of thought, before speaking up once more. "Wanna try Joe's Barbecue?" He questioned the commissioner.
Commissioner Ramsay sighed and started up the police cruiser they were in, "Might as well, dang hamburger turned me off from burgers for a good while.".
Impromptu Race
(Play Initial D Deja Vu)
With an excited expression on Ricky's face, and a determined face for Vicky, the two teens raced on through the highway. With Timmy as he felt the adrenaline of the race, his fairy godparents poofed into existence as mice on Timmy's shoulders. Cosmo and Wanda had to quickly cling onto Timmy's shirt with the rush of wind blowing over the front windshield.
"You okay champ?" Wanda hollered up at Timmy as she held on for dear life onto her fairy godchild's shirt, her front mice hands held onto Timmy while her hind feet were aloft in the air from the rushing wind.
"Honestly…this is fun!" Timmy declared excitedly as he relaxed the tension in his body, he was buckled in pretty well enough.
"See honey, told you the humans race in their dates!" Cosmo mused with amusement, and then glared over at Wanda as he held onto Timmy's shirt. "I want our next anniversary to be at a race!" He hollered over with an indignant tone.
Back with the two teens 'racing' against each other, Ricky made a swerve on the road to make headway for the exit ramp. Vicky took quick notice and swerved to follow and pass over Ricky as she caught up with him. As the vehicles soon reached the intersection with changing stop lights, Ricky began drifting as he turned onto the road leading towards the Turner's house.
Vicky, figuring out by now the destination Ricky had in mind, swerved her vehicle to turn and drift into the street that Ricky drove onto. It wasn't long until Vicky caught up with Ricky once again, the teens were now neck and neck as they raced through the suburbs. With several hair pin turns on the way and last second changing of street lights they continued to pass by, Ricky and Vicky exchanged looks of excitement and determination respectively.
The road they eventually turned into ended into a cul de sac, however on the other side of the dead end was another road with its own cul de sac. Ricky and Vicky sped their vehicles up and aimed to ramp off a coincidentally placed truck with its trunk-bed lowered down, Vicky was the first to reach and ramp over the truck and two houses.
Vicky made a triumph roar of excitement as her vehicle landed, only for her mood to sour when Ricky had managed to ramp and land right next to her as they continued to race through the suburban neighborhoods.
As the two teenagers raced onward towards Timmy's house, the streets they zoomed by on had a gathering crowd that had cameras flashing. Once an intersection came up for Ricky and Vicky to turn and drift onto, Timmy's house was now within sight and a large gathering of people were sitting on bleachers with a finish line extended out for either teen to break through for first place. The roar of a crowd filled the air as the teenagers corrected their driving out of the drift maneuvers they performed, and gunned for the finish line with the two practically neck and neck as they raced.
It wasn't until the last bit of several yards that Vicky managed to get a lead, and as the vehicles zoomed past the finish line, both 'racers' braked to stop. The crowd went wild in excitement as the tires of Ricky and Vicky's vehicles screeched while the momentum carried them across the street, white smoke filled the street from the tires as the two teens finally came to a halt in their vehicles.
Vicky was the first to climb out her car and hop onto the roof as confetti filled the air, she raised her arms up in victory to celebrate her win. Ricky and Timmy exited the vehicle they were in next while the crowd cheered for the excitement of the race. While Vicky drank in the praise of her victory, Timmy had walked around Ricky's car to speak with the teen.
"I don't understand." Timmy said to Ricky with a confused look, the teenager looked down at Timmy to face him. "Why was there a crowd here, what just happened!?"
Ricky grinned at Timmy, "It's simple Timmy, we were in a race!" He responded with amusement.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he witnessed Vicky earn a large racing trophy. "Wait, there was a trophy to be won!?" He asked incredulously while throwing his arms up for emphasis.
Ricky simply gave Timmy a disappointed look, "There's always a trophy involved in a race, haven't you learned anything?" He admonished Timmy with a wag of his finger.
Timmy blinked momentarily then remembered something, "Wait, weren't we heading to my place to continue that show of yours?" He questioned Ricky.
After a quizzical look formed on his face, Ricky eventually formed a grin on his face and snapped his finger. "Oh yeah…I forgot amidst the racing!"
The only sensible thing Timmy felt he could do, was simply smack his own face in exasperation.
