The Lads

Ricky's Office

Outside the compound of the old storage facility, repurposed into use by Ricky, the place was still surrounded by snow but to a normal level compared to the other day; a rather inconspicuous simple car is seen driven into the parking lot with three occupants within the vehicles, before long the vehicle parked at the front entrance to the office of Ricky's Business. "See! Told ya done well for himself after we split up!" a certain familiar popular singer said from the Drivers side.

Meanwhile inside the office, and over to the back rooms where Ricky could be seen in the bathroom within a shower stall with only his silhouette seen through the fogged up glass, the screen is treated to the sight of him holding up a back washing stick as he sings into it while begins to finish washing himself and put a towel around his waist after drying off. "I want it that way~" he cheerfully continues singing as he steps out with a cheerful attitude.

"Tell me why~" Ricky sings rather enthusiastically into his back washer stick.

"Ain't nothin' but heartache" A trio of voices follows up Ricky's singing in a pitch perfect chorus after him, causing Ricky to blink and look at his back washing stick in curiosity, before shrugging to himself and resumes singing.

Ricky puts both of his hands on his back washer now to sing more enthusiastically, "Tell me why~"

"Ain't nothin but mistake~" The trio of rather familiar voices to Ricky, sang once more on the opposite side of the door of the room he was in. The Teen made a look of suspiciousness at the doorway, and sang once again to finish the verse of a certain song.

"Tell me why~!" Ricky continued to sing with a rather upbeat expression on his face as he sang into his back washer stick, and just as quickly while keeping a hand on the towel around his waist to stay firmly up on his waist, Ricky tossed the stick aside to open the door and lean out to see three certain individuals in the office. "I never wanna hear you say, I want it that way." All four of them finished the verse of a particular song that Ricky 'came up with' for them to sing in their boy band, the Front Road Lads.

5 minutes later

Within the simple break room of Ricky's office, all four boys relaxed atop the simple two couches that were in the room with a wooden coffee table situated between them. Chip Skylark and Brad Cuspidor sat on one couch, while Ricky sat on the other one with Skip Sparkypants. It was a simple small reunion of sorts for the boys…or lads if you wanna say it that was given the name of the boy band they were once in.

"So." Chip broke the ice between the four of them. "How's life treating you outside the singing industry, Chad?"

Ricky smiled a cheeky grin back at Chip, "Chip, We've talked about this, I'm Ricky offstage." the teen corrected the current popular pop star singer, before continuing to speak, "And for your earlier question, rather well! No more crazy fangirls!" he responded with a relaxed posture as he leaned back with his hands behind his head. "Yup. a small miracle I dyed my hair and wore colored contacts to conceal my real identity." he bragged with a small satisfied chuckle.

Beside Chip, Brad chose to speak up next, "Well, at least that's a given…without the crushing debt that has been placed on us for splitting up." Brad remarked with a rather dour expression.

Skip proceeded to give Ricky the stinky look with his hands on his hips with a frown, "Why'd you split off from us anyway!? We were practically on the road to one of the greatest boy bands!?" he asked with an accusatory glare.

Ricky turned to glance back at Skip and held his hands out in a placating manner, "Hey, hey, I couldn't keep leading a double life for so long!" He tried to placate his fellow singer, "And besides, I wanted to finish getting my diploma early and drop out of highschool!" He tried reasoning with the others.

Brad blinked, before smacking his forehead. "Heh, I forgot you were the only one that was still in school at the time," he remarked.

Chip offered a smile to Ricky, "heh, I forgot underneath all that crazy of yours, you had a rather smart and mature attitude behind the scenes, and away from prying eyes." he said while aiming his index fingers at Ricky in a shooting gesture.

Ricky simply offered Chip a rather strained cheeky grin, "Yeah, and I'd rather you keep it that way too!" he offered a rather dangerous look at the other singer of the group of Lads.

"Easy, easy." Brad tried to placate Ricky with an easygoing attitude and held his arms out to placate Ricky, "Why don't we drop that subject, and have a lads' day out like we used to do?" he offered.

All four Lads smiled at each other, "Ooh!" Ricky snapped his fingers once an idea popped into his mind, "Why don't we treat this little reunion of ours as an opportunity to host a Christmas special in Dimmsdale's Mall!" he suggested with an excited expression.

Skip spoke up first with a simple smile, "That." Chip spoke next with a broad smile, "Sounds." Brad spoke up to finish the sentence with an excited grin, "Awesome!"

Ricky reached in towards the coffee table with his hand at the center, with a wide grin he said. "Bring it Lads!" he cheered.

As one, the other three lads reached in, and shortly after, all four chorused together, "Bye Bye Baby!" They sang.

Later that day

Dimmsdale mall

What would have been ordinarily a little busy time at the mall considering it was only several more days till Christmas Eve, it was now bustling with an advertisement of the once split up boy band of Front Road Lads to perform there as part of their reunion of sorts.

Outside the mall was a crowd of screaming girls, with some getting into brawls and scaps amongst each other in their fan fervor attitude; Away from the increasing crowd of zealous fangirls of the Front Road Lads, the channel 7 news was broadcasting the news…with various other celebrity news teams. "This is Chet Ubetcha, and what a time to live in Dimmsdale!" he announced as the scene behind him of rabid fangirls broke into a full out fight as every girl clamored to try and get inside and their favorite boy band.

Chet Ubetcha then had the cameraman pan over a bit to show the Dimmsdale mall with him still in the shot, "And as you can see quite the scene behind me, fans are practically tearing each others hair out to get inside and be the first in line to attend the one and only, Front Road Lads, and our very own Dimmsdale Mall!" he cheered with a broad smile.

"Yes." Chet continued to talk as he held his mic up, "You heard me right, after one year, all four members have joined once again to sing here!" Just as he finished his line right then, the sound of a chainsaw, or several few that is, broke out as the babysitters from the evil babysitters club broke out amongst the crowd of rabid fangirls.

Turner's residence

"Huh…" Timmy mused from within the living room as he watched the breaking news that interrupted his show of Crash Nebula, "So that's where Vicky went…and Mom and Dad…" Timmy remarked, while his fairy Godparents were posing as 'teenage' babysitters sitting beside him on the couch.

"Gee." Cosmo began to say as they all watched the news of a rather rabid crowd of fangirls somehow launching into a small battle to get first in line. "Isn't this the moment where Ricky usually shows up when Vicky isn't available?" he pondered while itching his head in thought.

As the News began to show the Boy Band members from a photo on their album, Timmy's eyes landed on one particular member that had a striking resemblance to Ricky and that was Chad of the four member boy band; with different hair color and different eye color as well, Timmy gave the image of Chad a suspicious look. "Chad Dripshirt?" he questioned.

Timmy got up and wanted to check something out, "Come on guys, I wanna see the show too…something's fishy about Chad Dripshirt." he spoke with a suspicious tone in his voice.

Cosmo smiled excitedly, "Ooh, can I get an autograph from Chip Skylark? I hear the Toothfairy just loves Chip Skylark's teeth!"

Wanda stood up and glared down at her still sitting fairy husband in the form of a teen like her, "What was that?" she demanded to know.

"Nothing! I mean, I wanna get an autograph for you!" Cosmo tried correcting himself.

While his fairy godparents got into a little harmless banter between each other, Timmy proceeded to get his winter clothes on and hope he could make a wish later to get backstage and see about confirming his suspicions.
