Chapter 42. Izuku's first mission, a new holy grounds, meeting a mystery little girl
At a house which is Izuku's home, Izuku is seen sleeping until he wake up thinking about the battle he saw yesterday seeing the previous world champion.
Izuku: oh man I can't believe I met the previous world champion and I even go to the same school as him… oh!? I've got to get ready!
(Persona 5 – beneath the mask)
Izuku goes to get himself dressed up so he can get ready for school as he was about to leave he looks at a box that was on his shelf, then he leaves his house and goes to school as he does he looks at the screen that shows Toshinori wining another tournament.
Izuku: … I wish I can enter a tournament.
Izuku continues walking to school until he sees both Yushai and Krystina who are also heading to school as well, Izuku gets a bit nervous as some part of him wants to ask Yushai but he is scared to so he continues on his way to school.
But unknown to him, both Yushai and Krystina noticed Izuku is behind them.
Krystina: Yushai, why is Izuku not coming near us?
Yushai: hmmm… I think he wants to ask me something.
Krystina: ask you something? What could that be?
Yushai: I think I might have an idea on what that is.
Krystina: well if you have an idea on what to do for him, I say you should help him also the teacher wants me to stay so I can take care of things so I won't be going with to GBN today.
Yushai: it okay I understand, oh school is almost about to start lets hurry!
Krystina: right!
The two hurries into school so they won't be late after a few hours school was over, Yushai was seen in his class room getting ready to leave until he sees Izuku was leaving as well, he goes after him so he can they can have a talk.
Yushai: hey, Izuku!
Izuku: huh? Y-yes?
Yushai: I want to ask you a question, are you into Gunpla?
Izuku: what makes you say that?
Yushai: me and Krystina saw you watching the screen that showed Toshinori the world champion.
Izuku: you saw that huh…
Yushai: yeah we did, so have you played Gunpla before?
Izuku: umm… I have made my own Gunpla but… I haven't battled before so I'm a complete novice and rookie…
Yushai : I see… how about I go with you into GBN so you can know what you need to do and how to play.
Izuku: you are willing to help me?
Yushai: yeah I don't mind.
Izuku: … I need to go home and get something.
Yushai: it's okay I can wait for at the arcade.
Izuku nods and hurries home to get something important while Yushai heads to the arcade to wait for him, Izuku arrived at his house and goes into his room and picks up the box then he heads to the arcade where Yushai is, once he arrived the two goes inside and uses there Simulator to enter GBN the two places there Gunpla on the scanner, they put on their visers then they enter GBN.
(Scene change)
(Dot Hack GU- Eternal City Mac Anu)
The two arrived in GBN at the mission center Izuku looks at himself then at his Gunpla which is a mix of Shining and Build Burning, Yushai looks at the Gunpla and is amazed by it.
Yushai: that's an amazing build and it's focused on close range combat.
Izuku: yeah… I watch Toshinori fight so I kind of wanted to fight just like him…
Yushai: not surprising. You do show that you're a big fan of his.
Izuku: hehehe….
Yushai: so you ready to go on your first mission?
Izuku: I think so…
Yushai: alright then let's go.
The two takes a mission for beginners then they leave for the mission, Izuku is amazed by how he can control his Gunpla.
Izuku: this is incredible! I never thought I can pilot such a machine.
Yushai: you weren't the first to experience this, I myself thought this was incredible too.
Izuku: I guess everyone gets the same treatment.
Yushai: so true, we are near the mission area Izuku, get ready.
Izuku: right!
( Armored Core 4 – Panther)
The mission begins as enemies appears, Izuku lands on the ground then he charges at the enemies before him, he takes down many of them one after another with his fists.
Yushai: huh, looks like he's doing very well and he's very skilled.
Izuku continues to fight against the herd of enemies and destroying most of them, then a lot more of them appears and started attacking more seriously which made things difficult for Izuku as things get worse Yushai jumps in to help him.
Yushai: stay focused Izuku!
Izuku: right.
The two then started fighting against the enemy's forces destroying many of them until they are confronted by a large Gunpla that is Burning Gundam.
Yushai: there's the boss, let's go Izuku!
Izuku: yeah! Let's do this Deku Gundam!
The two fights the Gunpla which shows how strong it is using its fists and martial arts capabilities which made things difficult for them but the two continue to fight on damaging the Giant Gunpla pushing it to its limits, Izuku charges at the enemy punching right through it ending the fight.
Izuku: I did it? I did it!
Yushai: good job Izuku with this you completed your first mission.
Izuku: thank you!
The two then gets ready to head back to the center until they spot a lake that is very large with a structure in the middle of it the two goes to check it out.
(Dot Hack GU – Hulle Granz Cathedral)
The two lands on the island and sees that the structure is a church the two goes into it and is amazed by how it all looks inside it.
Yushai: hmm… is this a holy ground?
Izuku: holy ground? I heard rumors about them but I never thought we have actually find one.
Then the door opens up which is a young girl with blond hair she walks by the two and prayed to the alter, this confused the two so they asked who she is.
?: … Mona…
Yushai: Mona? Well I think we should tell you our names, mine is Yushai the other is Izuku.
Izuku: nice to meet you.
Mona: nice to meet you as well.
Yushai noticed it was getting late and it was time for them to go home they say goodbye to Mona and leaves the area.
Mona: … I hope I see them again.
Then everything fades to black.
