From the moment life came into being with it was created the concept of Extinction, the mass death of one type of being and soon when life split into multiple types of being did Extinction evolve into mass extinction and so was created Jonathan
Jonathan isn't this creatures true name he has been known by many names but Jonathan is his favorite of names, it was the name given to him by his counterpart the living embodiment of existence itself, jervis, that was the creature's favorite name for themself
The two beings first met after jonathan came into existence, knowing his purpose as the death of all things but knowing that the death he brings is not to be done right now but at some time later, not knowing what else to do he decided to look upon the world that at some point he would bring to it's end, and he contemplated as much as he was able to contemplate with his existence existence what would happen after he did, would he cease to be after his job was done or would he left to look upon the bear on waist he would leave
His musings were interrupted by a voice thick with an accent of a culture not yet created," hello, who are you you're not one of mine, the Voice said as he looked over to see a a pair of bright blue eyes inside of the cherubic face of life itself, he only gets to take in the creatures beautiful blonde hair before the creature it seems to sense something it has to be doing and runs off to do it
Jonathan follows the creature he now knows as Jervis and sees that he is taking care of a flower, he seems to be torn on what color this flower should be, alternating between red and white he stops when he seems to sense some higher power unknown to Jonathan,nding him out and runs off leaving the flower a polka dotted mess of both colors
Jonathan doesn't know why he wants to pick one of the flowers and bring it to Jervis but he does and he barely notices as the flower wilts and dies in his hand up until he presents it to Jervis which distracts him from him creating
" what have you done" jervis squeals and horror which confuses Jonathan but makes him feel bad
After Jonathan explains his purpose jervis is dismayed that his Creations are damned to Extinction but no someone his soul that the extinction his companion brings is done only to make way for new generation of creation
And the years go by eventually Jervis is given normal instructions to create and much like Jonathan is left to Rome his kingdom of life and Marvel at all the wonderful things his Creations do
Soon the time comes when the old must be snuffed out for the new on the two entities sit on the highest mountain watching the fiery destruction rain upon the land, the two embrace and though Jonathan may be cold and sting with the sucking death that he is created for his embrace is also warm and it's kindred existence as eternal
Soon new life is created smarter life, the two watch as this life evolves and become sentient, they feel many things as they watch this new intelligent life do good and bad things to the world they were created on
Extinction comes and Jonathan does not expect it for it is not brought on by his power by the power of the creatures jarvis had made, some creatures survive but as a whole life seems unsustainable, but the creatures find a way and find Sanctuary on an island far away wow on the rest of the world a great meteor made of Elemental Magic's falls to the Earth bringing upon New Life
This new life flourishes soon enough and one in particular one human life shines bright with the power of Pure Life
But not all is good the unexpected Extinction puts Jonathan out of whack, and he is consumed bye doing his purpose even though everything that is still rational in him says it is not time, and so a Great Hero inprisons him in the walls of one of the flourishing lives of made of candy and sugar, the decades pass and soon the time of the blonde life child comes and he escapes still consumed by the desire to do his purpose blinded by it with nothing to ground him for his companion Jervis and fell into a slumber to wait into another life made Extinction is created
But when Jonathan breaks free and begins to gather power the shark of his freedom through the universe wakes Jervis, and he is just about to pack his metaphysical bags and take a space train to the planet his beloved is set upon destroying to try to talk some sense into him when suddenly jonathan poofs into the astral Realm cleansed of his purpose Driven Madness and quite confused
" oh thank gorb" jervis says delighted as he Embraces jonathan who is still quite confused but elated to have his partner back
Jonathan still has a purpose of mass destruction but they both decide to focus on other planets and that the original life Planet just do its own thing until they think it's ready to have another try the whole jonathan created destruction
Even though things are good now they are quite miffed to see alternate Jonathan's from time to time who regretfully are as purpose mad as Jonathan once was but luckily they are all butt kicked out of existence by the life child
