Melissa had taken Izuku, Marco and the Seraphim to the Expo, where she, as a student of I-Island Academy, got to introduce them to several of the support items that would be showcased and up for purchase in the coming days,
"So much porn!" Makoto and Milo beamed as they enjoyed a six view headseat.
"…Of course that's what they use it for." Sumiko and Kohaku sighed.
Off to the side, Melissa was chatting with Marco and Izuku.
"So, what's Egghead like?" She inquired. "Dad told me stories of its early days, back when Vegapunk left M.A.D, so I can only imagine its gone up leaps and bounds since then."
"You'd be right." Izuku said. "People use tubes as transportation, anti-gravity boots, wonderful controlled weather…There is a small explosion or experiment gone wrong almost every other day, but the doctor prepared for all that….Plus, it was good training for us."
"If anything, it's like Mertu Nui of the Turga elders' youth." Marco noted; inwardly wishing he could see that grand city in its heyday….Maybe once Teridax was dealt with for good the Matoran, Toa and Glatorans would clean it up.
"I've heard bits and pieces about your world online and through Hero forums." Melissa admitted. "I'd love to see it; sounds like a wonderful place for Support folks like me."
"Oh it is!" Marco assured her. "Sure, my dad, the Toa and others may fight the big bad Rahi, monsters or evil spirits, but the Matoran are builders through and through…heroes in their own right too, even without the Toa transformation."
Izuku had moved aside, enjoying watching Marco and Melissa talk to each other.
"You seem to be having fun." A familiar voice suddenly got our hero's attention.
"Ochako!" Izuku beamed in delight, making the gravity girl's demeanor change from annoyed jealousy to shy adoration.
"H-hi…" She replied when she saw her crush's eyes sparkle.
"Ahem. Midoriya?" A familiar voice called out, revealing Momo and Jiro were also at the Expo.
"We heard everything." Jiro noted, showcasing her earphones.
"….And?" Marco asked in confusion, looking over to Melissa, who squinted and then smiled knowingly, whispering something in the bio-droid's ear. "Oh! Oh, I get it now."
Momo's poise was broken when she suddenly found Makoto nuzzling into her tummy.
"Hey there, Momo!" The blonde grinned impishly as he looked up, his face almost sandwiched between her breasts. "Pretty as ever!"
"Sup, Heartstopper?" Yatto smirked to Kyouka. "And really, you two? Teasing captain and Chacko? That's OUR job!"
"Well, that and Komeko and Eri's." Milo noted.
"Fair point." Kazuya noted. "Wait, you're back already?"
"The shops are nice and the staff lovely, but today is a special one, so I'll do my business tomorrow." Milo explained. "That and the girls needed real girl time, you know?"
"Fair point." Kazuya repeated himself.
"Friends of yours?" Melissa asked Marco, getting a nod before realizing she should introduce herself. "Oh, sorry. I'm Melissa Shield; All Might's niece and Dr. Shield's daughter."
Momo's eyes widened in shock and then walked forward.
"I thought you looked familiar!" The heiress smiled. "Momo Yayorozu, my parent's company…"
"…Helped dad fund his All terrain Mobile project!" Melissa remembered, then taking Momo's hand in a friendly shake.
"So, what're you three doing here?" Chikara asked as he floated, a smile on his face and an order form for the Deep Sea/Space suit in his hands. "Aside from teasing your boyfriends?"
The trio suddenly tensed and blushed, but never outright denied such a question
"Well, I received an invitation plus two and Jiro and Ochacko won a rock-paper-scissors game. The other girls are at the hotel…" Momo started.
ZIP!
…and Chikara was already gone, leaving a smoky outline of himself.
"Yup. He's in love." Izuku beamed knowningly.
5 minutes later
Tsuyu, Tooru and Mina were playing Uno in their hotel room when they heard it.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
Tsuyu got up and peeked through the eye hole, suddenly smirking.
"Oh Mina! There's a certain somebody here to see you! And he brought gifts!"
Indeed, for on his way over, Chikara had stopped by a gift shop and ma and pa grocery store to pick up some Aliens comics and Okara, Mina's favorites. He smiled giddly, anxious to see her…or was that sweat.
Wait, sweat?
He was sweating?
"I can't let her see me like this!" Chikara suddenly realized before with a snap of his fingers and some magic, he was prim, proper and dressed to impress. "There, that's better."
No sooner had he done this, then did the door swing open, revealing the pink marshmallow the fairy boy adored.
"Chiki!" Mina beamed as she took him into a hug, which he meltedd into with a dumb smile on his face as Tsuyu and Tooru left to grab some lunch at the Hotel Food court.
DEVIL
Meanwhile, the other girls had made their way to a café and were enjoying some cold drinks and chatting, with Chikara returning carrying Mina on a cloud
"A goddess like my Alien Queen should only grace the earth for so long." The fairy boy mused, gently kissing Mina's hand after he seated her alongside her friends and Melissa. "Have fun with the others, my lady. I shall count the seconds until I am lucky enough to enjoy you alone."
"Isn't he a sweetheart?" Mina swooned, making some of the others jealous before they spied the rest of the crew and some old and new faces, inviting them over.
"So you really got to work with pro heroes?" Melissa asked a few minutes later, after introductions had been done.
"Yeah, I had some serious training with Terrible Tornado," Ochako said, making Melissa's eyes widen.
"Whoa! You even got to work with one of the S-Rankers?!"
Sumiko giggled. "Make that ALL of them. Me and my siblings interned alongside Ochako."
Momo covered her mouth to let out a belch, coughing apologetically for her ill manners as her gut grumbled.
"Jirou, Ashido, and I were with Midnight, Mount Lady, and Miruko...and we had to eat a golem made of cake to stop a villain."
"Yeah, but we're getting used to being fat!" Mina beamed, slapping her belly proudly.
"Well, you all certainly look...healthy," Melissa said, awkwardly staring at how massive the three girls were.
"Thanks..." Kyouka grumbled.
"Regardless, Lady Tsuru gave me plenty of inspiration," Momo said contently. "She was strict but fair."
Off to the side at another table, the boys and Milo watched their respective love interests and or siblings, interact with Melissa.
"So…." Makoto said.
"Yes, we're all thinking it, but lets leave them be at the moment." Milo said. "…Adorable as blonde bio-mechanical nieces and or nephews would be."
"….Can Marco even…?" Yaato asked, trying to find the right words.
"Let's just let them be friends and go at their own pace." Izuku suggested.
"You're just maxing out your 'not being teased for not having asked Ochaco out' minutes." Kazuya noted. "Which you should."
Izuku groaned and laid his head down on the table.
"Thanks for waiting." A familiar voice said as a drink was placed in front of our hero, who looked up to see a smiling Denki and Minoru.
"Kaminari! Mineta!"
"Hey there Midoriya, surprised?" Minoru asked.
"A little, I knew you guys would be here, but never thought you'd take a job." Ben noted as he took his soda.
"The island needed extra hands to help out with the expo. Since it meant a free trip to the island, we applied." Denki explained.
"We can make some money while we're here, and we get to explore the preview during our breaks. Minoru added.
"You both look very dashing in those suits!" Lilique complimented.
"Y-Yeah..." Kobeni blushed, eyeing Denki in particular.
"Are they your classmates too?" Melissa asked.
"Yup. Just a heads up, they are hopelessly perverted." Ben said. "But they've been getting better lately."
"Actually, I snagged a girlfriend!" Minoru added proudly.
Suddenly, the dwarfish boy was picked up by a gorilla with familiar pinkish-red fur. Melissa gasped in surprise before the gorilla shifted back into Nimona.
"Sup, Juicey?" The shape-shifter smirked.
"Great, now that you're here." Mineta smiled. "You and your dads check in alright?"
"Yup. They're checking out the expo as we speak. Oh, hey y'all."
You could hear a pin drop, the area got so quiet.
"…The….actual…Hell?!" Katsuki finally spoke.
Bakara gawked. "Since when did you two-"
"Since he admitted he thought my animal transformations were attractive." Nimona smirked. "This boy has NO shame and that's just metal."
"I will freely admit that the only thing I'm ashamed of is flirting with Eri..." Minoru admitted, barely holding his bowels at the glares he got. "And that's also because I don't want to incur Midoriya and Toukotoya's wrath."
"DAMN RIGHT YOU DON'T WANT TO!" Izuku and Hilda snapped.
"Why are you three slacking off?" Another voice suddenly cut in, revealing Tenya and N were also there, both clad in waitstaff uniforms as well.
"Oh, fancy meeting you all here." N greeted pleasantly, his eyes on Hilda in particular. "Especially you, Toukotoya..."
Hilda's chubby cheeks glowed red as she hid her eyes with the brim of her cap, getting teasing looks from the other girls in the process.
"Why are you here, Iida?" Ochako asked.
"Since my family is a well-known lineage of heroes, it was obvious we'd receive an invitation. But after my brother's retirement, the rest of my family has been working hard to pick up the slack, leaving me as the only one available to attend." Tenya explained. "N was kind enough to accept the invitation as my plus one."
"Funny you should mention that. I got an invite since my father is a shareholder in some of the expo's sponsor companies." Momo said.
"Yeah. And me, Ashido, and Uraraka were her extras since she had three extra tickets." Kyouka added.
"Well, since you're all here, I can show you some of the big sights around the island," Melissa said.
"That'd be awesome!" Kohaku said.
Just then, a massive quake rocked the island.
"What the heck was that?!" Kobeni panicked as she hid underneath the table.
"I think it came from the villain attack course nearby," Melissa replied.
"Villain attack course?!" Katsuki and Himiko grinned ferally. "SHOW US!"
"Oh sweet Iwata, you riled them up..." Kirby muttered.
DEVIL
The group approached the villain attack course. They saw that Eijirou had just recently cleared it in under 33 seconds, netting him a spot at eighth place on the scoreboard. The announcer of the course was a relatively young Pro Hero named Amplifier, who had done time as Present Mic's sidekick for a few years before going independent.
"I'm guessing he's also one of your classmates?" Melissa asked.
Katsuki chuckled. "Shitty Hair has the optimism of a child but the spirit of a tiger. Always going on about being the manliest hero since his grandpa, Crimson Riot."
"Sounds like fun...you guys wanna try it out?" Marco suggested.
"Some of us are willing to go." Ben shrugged. "How about you do it first."
Marco nodded as he entered the field, which reset the faux villains as he cracked his neck. Click had decided to watch while nestling in Melissa's hair.
The bio-droid was on the robots in a matter of seconds, smashing one robot with a giant spire of stone before manipulating gravity to send it crashing down on another. He then touched another robot and used theIron Elementto hack it, making it destroy the other robots as he finished with a massive blast of plasma before using the Air Element to cover the remaining course.
"BOO-YAH!"
"Incredible! He was able to clear the course in 18 seconds! He's in 2nd place!" Amplifier called out.
"Hehe...watch as a pro handles this." Katsuki smirked as he went next, stretching his legs and letting off a few explosions between his fingers.
What followed was a flurry of explosive strikes and kicks as Katsuki practically slaughtered the robots, finishing with a flaming kick.
"FLAMBAGE SHOT!"
"What an amazing time! He's in first place at only 15 seconds!" Amplifier called out.
"My turn!" Himiko beamed as she skipped onto the field.
"KNOCK 'EM DEAD, HIMI-CHAN!" Lilique cheered.
"We believe in you," Mukuro said in a calm tone but with a small smile on her face as she waved a little flag around.
Himiko giggled as she drew her swords, clutching the third between her fanged teeth as she got into a stance, the faux villains slowly surrounding her...
"DAIBATSU GIRI!"
A series of slashes followed everyone's vision...and all the faux robots fell apart, leaving very few left. As such, they were easy pickings for Himiko with a few more basic sword strikes.
"HOLY HORIKOSHI! SHE'S THE NEW 1ST PLACE HOLDER AT ONLY 10 SECONDS!" Amplifier exclaimed in disbelief.
"Oy, Deku! Show them what the successor of Gol D. Roger is capable of!" Katsuki said, slapping his best friend on the back as the green-haired boy smiled bashfully.
"Really, Kaachan?" He asked his oldest friend. "I don't want to draw too much attention."
"Just go in there, ya big baby!" Hilda said as she and Rosa picked up Izuku and tossed him into the field.
"And we have a last-minute entry!" Amplifier called out excitedly.
"You guys..." Izuku sighed before straightening himself out and lowering his straw hat over his eyes. "Alright...might as well give them a show."
Leaping high into the air, Izuku channeled the power of the[Glint-Glint Fruit]as light energy built up around him.
"YASAKANI SACRED JEWEL!"
A torrent of deadly light bullets rained down, accurately taking down every single faux villain on the field as everyone watched in awe.
"7 SECONDS! THIS IS THE DEFINITIVE 1ST PLACE!" Amplifier cried.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Katsuki called out.
"That was an amazing time, Deku!" Ochako cheered.
"What about you, Hilda?" Sumiko asked.
Hilda shook her head. "Nah, I ain't feeling it. Besides, how could I top that?"
"Yeah, I'm not exactly comfortable showing off either..." Ben muttered, looking away as Penny gently put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Be that as it may, you guys are really amazing!" Melissa smiled. "You guys must have a lot of fun at your school."
"You could say that. At the very least, it's never boring..." Kyouka said.
DEVIL
Meanwhile, the strange men had tied up the security guards at Gate 66. Their leader called their mysterious benefactor.
"I picked up the goods as planned."
"Good, but we have a complication. All-Might is on the island."
"All-Might? Well, it doesn't matter. We can handle him."
DEVIL
David and Vegapunk finished scanning Toshinori as the results came up on the screen. Dorothy and Maetel were standing by, watching over everything.
"Well, from what I'm seeing the decline of OFA in your body is slow but gradual. In a few years, you'll be Quirkless again." David frowned.
"Not as bad as I feared then," Toshinori said. "Listen, David, time doesn't stop for anyone, and I'm no exception. I dedicated my life to being the greatest hero I can and even with some failures I'd like to say I succeed."
David still looked rather solemn, but Toshinori put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"David, my time is coming to an end, even with Young Midoriya and his friends healing me. Don't be mistaken the thought of me losing OFA does scare me at times, but do you know what I do at these times? I think of my students, the heroes of the future. When I think of how hard they work, all the blood, sweat, and tears they shed to attain the title of hero I can rest easy knowing that one day they'll be the ones protecting everyone."
"Yes, and with Izuku, my dear grandchildren, Marco, Rebecca, and all the friends they've made leading the charge, I safely say that the future is in good hands," Vegapunk added proudly.
Dorothy and Maetel both looked at each other and nodded, Maetel smiling but even Dorothy had a tiny ghost of a grin on her lips.
DEVIL
The sun was setting and the group had just finished the tour when they came across an exhausted-looking Denki, Minoru, and Nimona.
"If this is only the preview, how's it going to be during the actual expo?" Nimona asked with a groan.
"At least we're not the only students who applied for work, so we can visit the expo in shifts." Minoru pointed out.
The trio then saw three tickets being handed to them, courtesy of Tenya and N.
"Ms. Shield was kind enough to procure these for you. She thought you guys could use a break." N explained.
"It's no big deal. I just had a few extra tickets." Melissa said, a little embarrassed.
"There will be a number of heroes at the party as well. So we should strive not to tarnish UA's reputation." Tenya said.
"Do you even know what sort of reputation UA has?" Nia muttered.
"Oh, lay off him, Nia." Mipha gently chided.
"Seriously though, I like him. But…" Nia started as Mipha pulled her away.
"The preview begins at 7:00. It is currently 5:30, I propose we head to our hotel rooms to ready ourselves and meet at the entrance at 6:30 sharp," Bakara stated.
"A most excellent proposition!" Tenya said.
"Sounds good to me." Izuku agreed.
"What a pain," Katsuki said simply but not disagreeing.
"Five hundred yen says everyone's going to be late," Yaato said to Makoto, who snickered.
"Deal."
DEVIL
David had just gotten changed for the party and was walking there with Toshinori, once again in his hero form.
"I still remember the first day we met. One of my experiments had gone haywire and the lab was on fire. Just when I thought I was done for, you come busting through the wall."
"I remember. That's when I first unlocked [Danger Sense]."Toshinori chuckled."And good grief, the jokes about us being college boyfriends. I know you're bisexual, but I've never swung that way."
"Well, there go all my fantasies." David faux sobbed as the two laughed.
"You actually designed the first costume of my younger days when you saw my clothes fall apart from impacts, it really helped. Though capes are starting to go out of style these days."
"I still remember what you told me after we graduated college. How you wanted to see a society where everyone can smile. To shine a light on this world." David said. "Of course, the world is always in one-half darkness."
Toshinori chuckled. "When did you get to be such a pessimist?"
DEVIL
Jaygarcia Saturn of the Hero Public Safety Community was on I-Island as well; one of the best parts of his job was coming to Expos like these so that he could see what other nations had for their heroes and put in orders for his own country's.
Sadly, he wouldn't be able to enjoy this expo, it seemed: After settling into his hotel room, he had received a message from the HPSC's spy network: Some known Villains had infiltrated the island.
"Wolfram and his crew, eh?" Saturn mused. He knew of the man; a metal manipulator, nothing too special, but with military training and a ruthlessness that earned him respect and feared enough to be paid top dollar for what was about to unfold. Under normal circumstances, Saturn would have contacted All Might to get him to a plane…
But these were not normal circumstances. No, this was an unprecedented opportunity: the number one's successor, on top of All for One's son and the Devil fruit consumer?
The scientist in him overwhelmed the rational leader in him as he sat down to enjoy some tea and a light meal.
"Let us see just how powerful you and your crew really are, Midoriya..."
DEVIL
Specs, one of the mercs who was infiltrating the expo, looked over the group of guards they had just tied up as he contacted his boss.
"We found five guards. They're tied up now and won't be a problem."
"Keep them alive but bound. No need to make more of a mess than we have to. Focus on the security system."
On the other end, the boss smirked as he placed a metal mask over his face.
"Now the game begins." He turned to his gunmen. "Get ready to move."
The mercs nodded as the shutter door opened in front of them.
DEVIL
Marco looked around the small lab where Melissa was doing her work. The rest of the crew had gone to get dressed and ready but since he wasn't one for clothes, he decided to see what Melissa did in her spare time.
"I just realized I haven't met your mom yet."
"Sadly, Mom's not in our lives anymore. She was killed during a villain attack when I was a little girl." Melissa explained. "It's part of the reason why Papa and I moved to I-Island, and the reason he started to have a darker view of the world."
"Oh, I'm...I'm sorry to hear that..." Marco said sympathetically.
Melissa sighed as she looked over to the pictures.
"Papa's Quirk was never good for hero work. He can only bend his fingers around in all sorts of crazy angles. So instead of using his power to become a hero, he took to science as a way to fight for peace, improving the lives of others. Then later, when he met Uncle Might, he took to supporting heroes with his science."
"And I guess around that time, Dr. Vegapunk took him under his wing." Marco guessed.
"Yeah, it got to the point that Vegapunk basically became like a grandfather to me. I always got along well with his Satellites, even York..." Melissa frowned. "I just never thought she'd stoop so low."
"Hey, it's okay. She's being punished for her actions now." Marco reassured. "Maybe she'll learn her lesson."
He then got a notification from Inko; a video of Komeko beating the snot out of York, who kept asking what she'd done to deserve this.
"…I stand corrected." Marco grimaced, awestruck by Melissa's giggling. Marco found himself losing himself in that giggle, time seemingly to slow as he drank in Melissa's smile, blonde hair…
Something caught his eye; a suit case of sorts. Melissa spied this and smiled.
"My dream project." She explained as she went over to it, pressing a button as it began to disassemble and then rebuild itself. "Ever since I was a little gear, but it wasn't Uncle Toshi started slowing down that I could get to work on it."
The suitcase was now a suit of armor in the shape and colors of All Might, minus his eyes and mouth, for which, Marco saw there were holes for the user.
"I call it 'Exo Might.'" Melissa explained. "Open to suggestion for other names. Never had the chance to test it, but if it works right, it would grant the wearer the strength, speed and durability of All Might in his prime, with the option of over 30 alterations, depending on the user's Quirk."
Marco was awestruck.
"I hate to say this and pray she never hears this, but I think Rebecca has met her match." He mused.
Somewhere on the island, Rebecca sneezed.
"Huh. Some choom must be talking about me, but I don't think I should be angry."
Back in Melissa's lab, Marco marvelled the Exo-Might.
"Why not wear this?" He asked. "You know, mix Support and Pro work?"
Melissa looked over at her creation, a foregone look on her face.
"I've thought about it a few times." She mused, then smiled at Marco. "And thanks for having so much faith in me. But…not right now."
Marco nodded in understanding as he began to take his leave
"See you in a bit."
DEVIL
Izuku finished getting himself dressed and headed to the lobby, the rest of his crew joining up as well as Tenya, N, Denki, Minoru, and Nimona. Also present were Eijirou, Shoto, Uta, and Vivi.
"Hey, Todoroki, Vivi, Uta!" Penny greeted. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here on behalf of my dad's agency. Being Endeavor's son does have its perks sometimes." Shoto explained.
"I have a show here," Uta said. "After all, I still need to keep my fans happy!"
"I'm a royal guest. Y'know, Princess of Alabasta and all that." Vivi giggled sheepishly.
"Sorry I'm late," Ochako said as she, Momo, Kyouka, and Mina came in.
"Whooo! Rocking those outfits, girls!" Rosa praised, looking at the dresses Momo, Kyouka, and Mina wore and how they were perfectly tailored to fit their fat bodies.
"Same here, Meihei." Kyouka chuckled as she addressed Hilda and Rosa's outfits.
"Oh, good! I thought I was gonna miss you guys."
Everyone turned to see Melissa come, looking practically stunning in her blue dress and light makeup.
"Oh, uh...wow..." Marco stuttered, looking down to see his only choice of ensemble was a bow tie.
His crewmates, especially the girls, took note of this and smiled knowingly.
"Aw, I ship it!" Kobeni smiled.
"Does our alien have a favoirte subject to…No. Nah, no way I can make it sound funny." Nia sighed.
"She is a lovely girl." Kohaku beamed. "Good choice, Marco."
Lilique started fanning herself.
"My goodness! A true beauty and the dashing beast prince!"
All Marco could do was blush.
DEVIL
The reception was already underway and the host suggested All-Might come up to say a few words.
"Really, Dave?"
David shrugged. "Not my idea. But it was bound to happen once everyone learned you were in town."
"You owe me one for this."
DEVIL
"All right people, it's party time!" Denki cheered, elicting similar cheers from the rest of the group. However before anyone could move, metal shutters slammed down onto the widows as an message was being broadcast to the island.
"This is a report from the I-Island security system. We have received a report that an explosive device was discovered somewhere on the grounds. I-Island will be in high alert mode."
"So, uh...does this kind of thing happen a lot?" Kobeni asked with a nervous smile only for it to disappear when Melissa shook her head.
"No it's never this bad unless there's a real threat. Whatever's going on, it's big."
Everyone felt their Haki go off at once like a massive warning bell. All-Might also felt his Haki go off with[Danger Sense]as the doors swung open as the merc boss and his goons came in with guns drawn.
"In case you haven't caught on, the security system is under our full control. I know we've got a lot of heroes in here, but if you decide to make a scene..."
The monitor came up, showing civilians on the street surrounded by security drones.
"Then the drones will be made to think the people they have in their sights are dangerous criminals. You can consider everyone on this island my hostage. So you'd better play nice." He smirked. "And by the way... When I was talking about everyone..."
He placed a hand on his earpiece and with a whispered command, holes appeared on the floor of the party, which launched digital capture strips designed to contain anyone. They immediately targeted the heroes in the room. All-Might tried to break free, but the merc boss fired into the ceiling.
"Don't move. One more step, All-Might, and I start killing people here and now."
All-Might grunted."Damn villain..."
The boss smirked and kicked All-Might to the ground as he turned to everyone else.
"Now if you all want to live, I suggest you follow All-Might's lead and do exactly as I say."
All-Might looked to David, who was shocked but determined at what was going on.
"Young Midoriya and his friends were late to the party. And they have permission to use their Quirks in an emergency. I don't know how strong these people are, but at worst, they're likely to be gunrunners. Such villains, along with terrorists, are the only sorts of villains who would try and attack I-Island, and terrorists wouldn't bother to hide their faces."
DEVIL
Izuku and the rest of the gang arrived at the floor above the area thanks to the emergency stairs and luckily it was clear glass so they could see everything. It wasn't good, everyone from civilians to heroes was captured, even All-Might.
"Dammit!" Minoru yelled. "Why are we always caught in the middle of crap like this?!"
"Hold on, I'm gonna try and listen in," Kyouka said as she plugged her jacks discreetly.
"Let me try something as well," Ben said as he used a Quirk called[Echo Communication], which allowed him to choose who hears what he says and who doesn't."All-Might, can you hear me?"
"I can hear you loud and clear, Young Torekuroshi! I take it you're using a Quirk to make sure the villains don't hear you?"
"Yeah, and Jiro is listening in to what they're saying. We'll keep an ear out."
"If you all stay calm and don't do anything rash, you'll be released once we get what we came here for." The merc boss told everyone before getting an alert from his earpiece. "What's up? Yeah, I got it. I'll be right up."
He looked around and spotted Sam before approaching him.
"You a researcher here?"
"Y-Yes, I am."
The boss nodded. "We'll be taking this one up."
Sam started to protest until David approached.
"Stop. That man is my assistant. What do you plan on doing to him?"
"Professor David Shield, yes? I've heard of you." The boss smirked. "We'll be bringing him as well."
David frowned. "And if I refuse?"
The boss smirked. "Then somewhere on this island, you'll hear a pretty little blonde girl scream."
"Do you even know how many blondes are on this island? You'll have to be more specific." David smirked.
The boss shrugged. "Okay, let me try a more direct threat. If you don't come with us, your assistant here comes up as a corpse."
Dave sighed. "Fine..."
All-Might watched as Dave and Sam were led away.
"This was far too planned. David is one of the few people who knows the full security system. The mercs had no way of knowing he might be here tonight... Unless someone told them and gave them information that might make him compliant. If I could only get a distraction, I could take out these gunmen before they had a chance to kill any hostages in the dining area."
He said this all out loud, knowing that thanks to Ben, only he would hear it.
"Don't worry, All-Might. We'll try to find a way up to where the security office is and retake control."
All-Might gave a subtle nod of approval as Kyouka unplugged her jack and rejoined the others along with Ben.
"Good luck, my young zygotes. We're all counting on you."
DEVIL
(Mrotrax: Dr. Vegapunk, Dorothy, Maetel, and managed to avoid getting captured since Vegapunk and his big brain predicted something like this.
"And now you're ordering so much of the room service menu makes sense." Maetel mused.
From within Vegapunk's hotel room. The big-brained genius, his two assistants and an old friend, who used a four-legged mech to walk, enjoyed meals and remained unamused to the situation.
"Saturn forgets I too have access to the forums and databases." Vegapunk mused. "The main reason I came to I-Island was indeed to catch up with the children, but to remind him and the other elders that they're not infallible.
"I'm worried about Penny." Pietro Polendina sighed as he picked at his food, putting it down. "I know my little girl is strong, but…"
"I worry about the others, too." Vegapunk said as he finished one plate and then went to his briefcase. "Dorothy? If you please?"
"Of course." The android bowed, finishing her tea as she began to help him set-up.
"Vegapunk?" Pietro asked. "What are you…?"
"I'm going to make sure that not only the children get the credit they deserve…but the world knows the truth of this incident."
"Whether good or bad?" Dorothy asked.
"Whether good of bad." Vegapunk promised as he suddenly saw Pietro helping in the set-up.
Knightmare Lord A/N:
The action is picking up! Izuku and his crew are going to undo Wolfram's schemes and Dr. Vegapunk, being the Magnificent Bastard he is, has a plan in place to let the whole world know their future heroics in action. However, it seems Saint Saturn of the Five Elders is here on official business since he's a scientist as well...and he has his own plans for Izuku and his crew on behalf of Lord Imu and the rest of the Elders going forward.
Also, happy to include a bit more Marco x Melissa Ship Tease as well as a sneak peek at the Armored All-Might Suit...which will have a different user piloting it before long.

Another great chapter, and soon we will not only see amazing action, some romance…and as KML said, Vegapunk has a plan to make this all end (hopefully) smoothly.
We also threw Mineta a bone getting Nimona as a girlfriend (I just know Monoma is seething in rage offscreen) and the Marco-Melissa ship seems to be liked by many,
DID have the idea of burrowing a funny scene from the Two Heroes Abridged movie, but I feel it'd be a bit too mean-spirited and what KML did with Ben and All Might was better.
