A/N: Hello there my wonderful readers! How was everyone's Mother's Day? Mine was pretty busy but I still managed to write up a chapter or two yesterday. You'll be happy to know that I've almost written all of the chapters up to the two of them getting back together. I'm actually quite excited about that. As for the chapter's we're on right now, this is the second last chapter in this episode arc, and in the next few chapters we're going to have a bit of a crossover happening. As always, don't forget to leave a review and I'll see you guys on Friday!

Chapter 276

The two men got themselves ready, armed and to that chopper in record time. They split ways for only a single hour. Actually, no it didn't take Conejo that long to do what needed to be done, maybe like forty-five minutes. Considering all of Conejo's weapons were in Andalucía in their house, he did really well at stocking up. He only had to hit one arms dealer for the stuff he needed and it didn't cost Wo Fat a dime.

When he met Wo Fat at the tarmac, the man was in his typical war outfit, grey suit, buttons done up, high powered rifle on his back, SMG on his side. The battle chopper was firing up, it had two massive tanks of gas and what looked to be mounted gatling guns. Damn, Wo Fat was fitting to go to war, I mean, so was Conejo too, but damn Wo Fat was definitely taking this threat very seriously.

Conejo knew that when it came to Rowan and her wellbeing that Wo Fat could be lethal but he wasn't around when Riku went down for his involvement in Rowan's kidnapping and torture, and Wo Fat doesn't let on that he's that kind of person around Rowan. So to see it now, that mask of calm on his face and the rage burning in his eyes, it made Conejo wonder why anyone chanced this man's anger and retribution at all.

Conejo with his duffle bag of ammo and weapons, stalked over to him. Wo Fat was busy looking at his phone. "Just pack it up," he said absently.

Conejo figured it was nerves. They knew Rowan was in trouble and Wo Fat liked to fiddle when he was nervous, though usually he played with his cufflinks and not his phone.

He went to throw the bag in the helicopter and while he did he heard Wo Fat swear. He turned and saw that he had seemed to have taken a call, so Conejo waited until Wo Fat had hung up to approach him.

"Everything good?"

"What?" he asked looking up at him. "No, no not really."

"Okay… but are we good to go?"

"Yeah…."

Conejo stood there and stared at him. He couldn't but notice that Wo Fat, instead of boarding the chopper was still just staring at his phone. A frown creasing his eyebrows.

"What? What's the matter? Is she okay? Did something happen?"

"Well I have bad news and worse news."

"Okay, what's the bad news?"

"Rowan wasn't taken. She was given. Kong found a strange money wire into Michelle's account. He's managed to trace it back to someone in Moscow. Kong's not one hundred percent certain cause this was done on the down-low, but we both know there's only one person in Moscow that would want Rowan. There's also a rumour going around that Irina wants her… alive."

"Okay we already knew that. Or at least, we figured… so… so what's the worse news."

"Rowan's plane crashed."

Conejo's heart actually constricted in his chest. "Wh… where did it go down?"

"North Korea. In the jungle."

North Korea was mostly jungle so that did not narrow it down, but he assumed that Wo Fat had coordinated. "Did they say if…"

"No, he's got nothing except one second the plane was on radar the next it wasn't. NSA is already reporting it as a crash but they can't make contact with anyone on the plane and there was nothing to indicate any sort of problem that would cause this."

Except… they both knew that Rowan had void powers, and her void powers took out electronics.

"Do you think… if she pulled from the void, she could…"

"It would have to be something big to cause the plane to drop out of the sky… out of no where."

Okay, so not just a regular jump to somewhere safe. The thought of Rowan having another void related incident without either of them there to save her, either from the void or for when Steven eventually showed up, was terrifying.

"Okay… okay… so… so… we're going for Rowan, right? Or do you want me to stay here and deal with Shioma?"

Wo Fat actually took a minute to think. Conejo held his breath. He didn't want to be left behind, even though he had offered. What he really wanted was to find Rowan and make sure she was okay.

"Shioma can wait." Oh, thank god. "Kong's going to send me coordinates once he's got them narrowed down. We're going to get up in the air… and we're going to brace ourselves for the worst."

Conejo nodded. Though, he had a feeling neither of them were going to be ready, or even remotely okay, if the outcome was the worst.

H5O-H5O-H5O-H5O

She ran through the jungle like a bat out of hell, except it was more like a fox attempting to escape the hounds. One particular hound. The only survivor of the crash other than her. Coincidentally the leader in the suit.

He had not been happy when the crash killed the other men in the plane. He was not happy that she survived and got out of the plane. The original plan was to sit by that plane there and wait for the rescue teams to come and get her. Whether it be government official's or Wo Fat. Once she was done bouncing around that cabin during the fall and crash she established that she was surrounded by dead bodies and she didn't know how to get out, so she had pulled from the void again, probably causing Steven all sorts of agony, and then blasted the door out so she could be outside. Where she promptly threw up. Then she was sitting there, calm and ready to be recused but she had miscounted the dead bodies. The leader had been so mad at what she had done that he had climbed up out of that wreck and declared he was going to kill her. Since then he had been giving chase. Rowan had practiced running with Conejo, so he'd be proud at how far she had managed to run so far, but she was flagging and the guy was catching up.

She didn't quite know where she was going, she was following the strings, the strings that were leading her to safety. If she was right and remembering correctly, they were taking her straight to a facility Wo Fat once used to torture Steven in.

If she was lucky, she'd find men who were loyal to him that could help her. Or at the very least be bought… if she explained who she was and how she could pay them once she got a hold of her brother.

She weaved through the trees and then ducked behind a bush hoping that he'd rush past her, and he did for all of two seconds, then he was whirling around looking for her. Not good, not good. Rowan got up and ran again. She tried to open the void but she was too flustered to actually get a good fix, not good either. Really, really not good.

But she had to make it there before the leader in the suit got a hold of her, cause if he did, she might have issues. Cause try as she might, she could quite get herself to open the void. She didn't even want to go home, she just wanted Wo Fat. If she could get the void open, she was going to either throw herself to him or pull him to her, she didn't care which one, she just wanted her brother.

She was focusing on Wo when the man tackled her, she had been so focused on the void and what it felt like when she was trying to a pull a string to him. She must have travelled, she must have taken him with her, because one second they were running in the jungle and then next they had fallen to the ground on a dirty path way past the trees.

The jump through the void startled him, he hadn't been expecting it. He fell off of her back and she turned only to hit him twice. One hit to the throat the other to his nuts.

Conejo always said that the best plan of attack was it hit someone where they were weakest. In her case throat and nuts so she could run, give herself a head start. She got up and she could already see the building just a few feet away. She was almost there, dear god let there be someone inside who could help her.

She went to run away but he recovered so much quicker than she thought he would. He grabbed her ankle and took her down. She turned, lashing out with her legs, but he grabbed her other ankle to keep her from landing any blows.

"Get off!" she howled reaching forward to rake her nails down his face. She left long tiger striped claw marks down his cheeks and then he was the one howling in pain. She kicked herself free and then got up, scrambling towards that building.

She had just made it to the building when she heard it. The sound of a gun drawing and the distinct order of: "Freeze!"

With her hands up Rowan turned to the leader in the suit who was glaring at her from behind a pistol. He clearly had more to say but a loud echoing bang broke the silence between them and he dropped. Rowan cringed she almost dropped right then and there.

She felt more than heard them behind her. Felt how their presence charged the atmosphere, or maybe it was just that she was finally picking up on the potential danger behind her. She turned, hoping to find people she'd recognize, that maybe she had dropped closer to Wo Fat than she thought.

What she found was American soldiers all pointing their guns at her. She stared at them all, wondering if they really were American soldiers. They had fatigues similar to Steve's they were all bearded and dirty looking, and they were all white men. They might have been private soldiers but she knew for certain they weren't people that knew Wo Fat, and she wasn't certain if they would help her get back to him without trying arrest her first.

They had all started exchanging glances, their weapons dipping. Rowan found that she couldn't hold it back, she started to cry.

"I just want to go home."

Once she started crying the guns dropped immediately and the men moved in to hush her. Turned out they were going to help her after all. Starting with getting her inside the warehouse where it was safe.

H5O-H5O-H5O-H5O

They found the plane in pieces.

Like, literally. The cabin was completely separated from the cockpit. The wings were all over. Wo knew that Conejo was watching him, no doubt for his reaction. And Wo Fat had nothing to give him except for absolutely horror.

The plane must have hit ever tree on the way down. For godsake she wasn't alive, and if she was, she was probably in very very bad shape. This was going to be worse than the basement.

The chopper landed near by and killed the engine so he and Con could go investigate. All of the carnage was inside the cabin, except for the pilot he had gone through the window during the crash. That's what Wo Fat was assuming because there was a hole in the window and the body was missing. Inside the cabin there were four bodies. No sign of Rowan.

As Wo Fat combed the tall grass and bushes, Conejo decided to look inside. First in the cockpit and then to the cabin. When he came back, he seemingly had answers. Which was good, because Wo Fat only had questions.

"Everything in there is fried. Not a single electronic is working. Looks like it got hit with an EMP."

Alright so Rowan's void powers were to blame for the plane going down after all.

"The question is now, was she on the plane when it crashed or did she jump somewhere else?"

Wo Fat had evidence to say otherwise, and he wasn't happy that he found it. Wo Fat instead went quiet and stared out into the darkness of the jungle that he was certain his sister was lost in.

"What are you looking at?"

Wo Fat turned his eyes back to the tree where the door to the cabin was lodged. Conejo followed his gaze.

"So, the door came off in the crash."

"Only way for it to land there is for it to have been blasted from the inside, while the plane was already on the ground."

"So… someone blasted out?"

"Judging by the black around the edges, I'm guessing someone with electrical powers."

"So, Rowan was here? Rowan survived… that?"

He was pointing to the wreck. "That's what I'm guessing."

"So then… where is she? Why would she leave here, she had to figure that we'd be coming to look for her, that anyone coming to check the wreck would start here… at the wreck. The crash killed everyone inside…"

"Not everyone."

"Wo What are you talking about."

Wo Fat pointed to the bushes. "See, it's a trail. Something ran through here. Something big."

"Rowan isn't big."

"I know that!"

"So, you think something is chasing Rowan. Alright… so we go after…"

"There's no way to tell where she went."

Conejo groaned. "We can't just stand here. She needs us!"

That was true. With every increasing second he felt a little bit more like she needed him, almost desperately. And in turn he was getting more and more frantic to find her. But that didn't mean he was going to run off into a North Korean jungle without a heading.

"Calm down. We need a plan. She could be anywhere, and it's not like we can just walk the jungle screaming her name, right?"

Conejo sighed again but went quiet and Wo Fat tried to think. Where would Rowan run to? Her default when panicked had always been to find him. When in doubt go to Wo. She had been doing it all year, hell she was doing it when she was still with Steven. But she was alone in a jungle that she didn't know, and he wasn't with her. In fact, the last time he had been here…. wait… that was it.

"I know where she's going," he said heading back for the chopper. He told the pilot to refuel and wait for them, they'd be back before morning.

He headed back to where Conejo was standing waiting for him. An unimpressed look on his face. "Okay, so you looked at a few broken twigs and you suddenly know where she's heading? You get sibling telepathy or some shit? Cause last I checked you two weren't real siblings."

He was cranky and worried so Wo Fat was going to ignore those painful jabs. "She's from a world where this is a TV show, and she said she watched all of it."

"Okay, so?"

"Well, a long time ago. Maybe four years ago, I tricked Steve into coming to North Korea and then held him in a facility where I tortured him for information on where his mother was hiding."

For a second Conejo was silent. "You know… I'm starting to see why this guy didn't want you anywhere near his girlfriend."

Wo Fat half turned to him. "I never said that I didn't get it. I just figured that Rowan's wellbeing and happiness should come before whatever beef he and I had." And it was true. Wo Fat had always been willing to overlook his own feelings for McGarrett so long as Rowan was happy and safe. "The point is. If she watched the TV show as avidly as she said she did, she might be heading to that facility."

"Is it near-by?"

"Yep. It should be empty but someone else might have taken it over once I left."

"Okay, so we head there and hope she's there," Conejo said. They walked for a little while longer before he asked: "Do you think she's hurt… or the guy chasing her is hurt?"

That meant he noticed the blood on the trail. "Honestly, I'm hoping it's the other guy but it uh… it might be her."

God, he hoped it wasn't. Cause if she had gotten hurt on one of his ops well… then he was no better than McGarrett.

H5O-H5O-H5O-H5O

Calvin Roger had seen a lot these days, but a woman being chased by a Yakuza in a North Korean jungle was a first. Especially since this girl looked exactly like a girl who he had met before. Granted he hadn't seen Rowan Pierce since that disastrous op in Afghanistan, and he was certain that she was back in Hawaii with that crazy Commander McGarrett. But this girl, with her short brown hair and her light blue eyes looked just like that girl.

Granted she said her name was Rory and not Rowan, she was claiming to be from New York and never been to Hawaii before outside of a vacation in her teens, he was almost 75% certain it was the same girl.

So, he hijacked the team's only laptop and ran an AFIS search on both Rory and Rowan. Rory Wickerby came up, with all the specifics that Rory had given him with a picture of her. And then Rowan came up too. Currently MIA, having broken up with the Commander and on the run with her criminal of a brother. He could already see the physical similarities. The girls could be twins. With different DNA according to the file.

But both girls' profiles linked back to Wo Fat. Rory as a business associate/possible girlfriend, Rowan as his sister, whom he potentially kidnapped? Rory had an alert out for her from MI6 with a note that she was dangerous and to approach with caution. Rowan's file had an alert that said that Wo Fat was always with her, and if they were to find her, they were to take her to the nearest Naval base and to call Steven McGarrett to come and collect her.

But Rowan's priors were all arrests at the hands of Steven McGarrett, who Roger new for certain had been romantically attached to her, like, he saw them making out for Christ sake. What kind of boyfriend arrests their girlfriend? For things that didn't look like crimes.

But the similarity was too much to pass up. So, Roger called Joe White, whom he knew was friends with McGarrett, figured he'd get the low down and decide from there. What he got was Joe White's voicemail. So, he felt him a message, gave him the number for the satellite phone the team had and then figured he better take little old Rory in to the nearest Naval base. Safer for her in the long run, let the top brass figure out whether or not she was Rowan or Rory.

Rory had fallen asleep after their minor interrogation. They had wrapped up the arm that had been bleeding from some cut she got running through the jungle, fed her and then gave her the only cot they had in the place. He figured her pretty exhausted from all the running and fighting and stress of the situation.

He slowly moved into her room and then carefully took her into his arms. She nuzzled into his shoulder immediately, wrapping her arms around his neck. She murmured something that might have been Steven into his skin and he sort of felt bad for doing it to her.

But she was either working for a criminal or a girl who got kidnapped by a criminal. Either way she needed help. So, he put her into the jeep, handcuffed her so she couldn't quite run, told the team he'd be back in a three or more days, figured he'd pick up more supplies, and then drove off.

H5O-H5O-H5O-H5O

Rowan woke up in a truck. A moving truck. And she was not happy. She slowly got up, looking around. She was in a passenger seat of what had to be a jeep or a Hum-Vee. Her hands were cuffed, her head still hurt and when she turned, she saw Calvin Roger in the driver's seat.

She thought she had done a good enough job dissuading him from believing that she really was Rowan Pierce but that was clearly wrong. Because why else would he have put her in the truck while she was sleeping. Curse her and her deep sleeping-ness.

She groaned at him and he shot her a pained wince. "Sorry about this, but uh… you've got an impressive file."

"I'm not this Rowan girl…"

"No, I figured, but Rory Wickerby is working with some dangerous criminals too. Criminals that know Rowan."

Fucking Wo Fat. They had connected her to Wo Fat. Well obviously, that was why MI6 had arrested her but damn did it have to get her here too?

Rowan groaned again and once again Calvin winced. "I am sorry. But they put up a direction to take you the nearest Naval Base. We'll contact Commander McGarrett from there. He'll know what to do with you."

Rowan bolted up in her seat. Steven? They were going to call Steven? Yeah there was no way he wouldn't know who she was. She glanced down to her hands to her cuffed hands and beside her Calvin sighed.

"I really am sorry. It's just so you don't make a runner."

She shot him a dark glare. "I hate you."

"Well I guess I deserve that."

Rowan groaned again and sat back in her seat. None of her jumps had gone right since Russia but she figured that to be the hit to her head. She didn't have her phone, they had left their phones at home for their latest tango with the Stepanovs. Now she wished that she hadn't.

She tried to put her head in her hands but the handcuffs were kind of hindering. Where was her brother? Why hadn't he found her yet? Actually, that wasn't fair, it wasn't like she had told him where she was, nor did he probably know where she had gone. She could be anywhere in the world, hell she wasn't even certain where she was.

She suddenly went straight in her seat. Every single synapse of her body came alive. The void, the void was trying to tell her something.

The radio that Roger had came alive on his hip. Static with eruptions of what sounded like gunshots, voices distorted and calling out orders. Things like flank left and blind sided.

Roger pulled the radio to him. He called out names, the men at the compound but no one responded to him, but Rowan knew what was happening and so did Rogers.

"They're under attack."

Rowan turned, she opened up her other sense, her void sense and it opened for her. There in the trees, out in the distance from whence they came. Two pink strings waving in the wind. Her brothers. They were there. They had come for her.

She looked down to her hands and then to Rogers who she didn't want her brothers to kill. She took her hands, opened up her void sense and then looked up to him.

"Hey, hey, you should, you should go back to them. I won't mind, I'll stay in the car I promise."

He turned to look at her, seriously contemplating the idea and she took that pause to her advantage. She tapped her hands against his and changed the strings, handcuffing his hands together, while being through the steering wheel. He stared at them surprised, clearly unsure how that had happened.

"Sorry, but it's time I went home, and I don't want them to hurt you."

Roger just stared at her. Rowan went in for the hug, "Thank you for trying." And then she bolted out of the truck before he could stop her. She ran down the road, sprinting for her brothers, running to go home.

H5O-H5O-H5O-H5O

They found the building and immediately took it by force. Wo Fat essentially let Conejo run wild shooting everyone while Wo Fat combed the building for any sign of his sister. Conejo had the plan, keep at least one person alive, while Wo Fat searched.

Though he found a room that seemed to be the only private suite with a single lonely cot, with strands of what was probably her hair and a pillow that smelled kind of like her, there was no other sign of Rowan. But he was getting a few proud flash backs.

Conejo actually found him in the room he had held and tortured Steven in. He had just been standing there remembering when he was delightfully evil and doing things that made him happy, like pressing a cattle prod into Steven McGarrett's chest, or kicking the shit out of him. Ah happier, simpler times before Rowan Pierce gave him real emotions to deal with.

"We got a live one," Conejo told him. "For now, anyway."

Wo Fat turned away from the wall where once Steven McGarrett hung. He jerked himself out of the thoughts of what might have happened had he killed Steven then and there. Who would have found Rowan in the waters that day? How would Wo Fat have met her? Maybe he would ask her what the strings said about that.

He forced all of those thoughts to the side before he turned around, dawning his war mask. A mask he almost lost as he had no idea that Conejo had donned his own mask. The white rabbit mask startled him, but he focused his attention on their captive.

"If you want to live, you better answer my questions honestly. And you better hope I like your answers."

The man at his feet, bleeding from his head, his arm and his leg, stared up at Wo Fat with wide eyes. Fear was there in his eyes but he had the same kind of look that Steve had in eyes whenever Wo Fat thought he had him cornered.

He took a longer look at the man. U.S. Military, he wasn't certain which branch. There hadn't been very many men here, probably a specialized team on a special operation. That meant he was made of the same stuff and trained exactly like Steven.

"There was a girl here. Brown hair. Really blue eyes. She's mine, and I want her back."

"She was running from you."

"Alright, so she was here," Wo Fat whispered. "And no. She was running from people who took her from me." Wo Fat looked around again. "She's obviously not here anymore. You've moved her then. Was she… hurt?"

For a second it didn't look like he was going to answer. Above him Conejo cleared his throat and after a second the soldier responded. "Few cuts and scrapes, a little freaked out, otherwise she was fine."

That was a relief. Except, then why wasn't she still here? "So, she was fine. Then, where is she? Where did you take her?"

The man stared at him. "Don't know. Roger took her."

"Roger? Last name or first name?" Con asked like that mattered.

"Uh… last…"

"I know that name." Conejo snapped his fingers. "Oh what was it. C, something, something with a C. From Afghanistan. Wait. Calvin. His name was Calvin. Calvin Roger. Is that who took her?"

"Uh… yeah… you know… Calvin?"

Wo Fat turned a dark glare onto him. "How the hell do you know Calvin?"

"After I rescued your girl from Afghanistan, she sent me after the soldier they sent in with her as like a handler. Calvin Rogers. Got to him before they killed him."

Wo Fat blinked his eyes. Fucking really.

"Did he say where he was taking her?"

The man shook his head and in a moment of absolutely utter rage, Wo Fat took out his gun and shot him between the eyes.

"Well damn, couldn't I have gotten a little warning?"

Wo Fat went back to pacing. This wasn't good. Rowan was in the wind, taken by someone who recognized her as Rowan. Someone who was probably taking her back to Hawaii as he stood there. If she got back to Hawaii, back to Steven he'd never get her back.

"What's your problem."

"Your Calvin Roger knows her as Rowan. Not Rory."

"Oh."

"Yeah, oh."

"Well uh… why don't you check the laptop? See if he put the heading in there."

"Laptop?"

"Yeah, one of the rooms is like a war room, they've got maps and little plastic men to move around and a laptop…"

Wo Fat grabbed Conejo by the shoulders and forced him to walk, to show him where the room was. He found the laptop just where Conejo said it was. He opened it up, and found merely asleep thank god. The page it was left on… Rowan's AFIS file.

There was a giant red notice on it, linking her to him, with the orders of taking her to the nearest Naval Base and calling Steven McGarrett for transport.

Son of a bitch if she got to that Naval base, he wouldn't be able to get to her.

"Well that's new," Conejo said with a scoff. "Jesus Christ, you never should have taken Sandy down!"

Wo Fat ignored him. "The Nearest base is Camp Humphreys." He whirled around and left the laptop and the war room. "It's a three-day drive from here, we'll have to get to them before they get to that base."

Conejo sighed. "We'll have to take the helicopter."

Of course, they would. Easier to over take them and get her back. "I'm gonna need a reload so I'm going to go over to their weaponry and see if they have any toys I wanna steal. I'll meet you outside."

Wo Fat shook his head, but the more toys that Conejo had the better chance they had at successfully getting Rowan back. Wo Fat walked back outside the compound. He couldn't help it, but he found himself looking at the trees. Something was… pulling him towards the front of the building, towards the dirt road that would eventually lead to the main road. The complete opposite direction of where they needed to go.

So why did he feel like going that way? Why did he feel like that was the right direction? Scoffing he turned away from the trees and pet down his body hoping to find cigarettes only to find that they were most likely in his jacket which he left in the helicopter. Stupid hot jungle.

"Wo!"

That… that was Rowan's voice.

"WO!"

He turned back towards the road where Rowan was weaving through the trees towards him. His Rowan. He just couldn't believe it!

He let out a strangled cry of her name and then rushed towards her. It took less than thirty seconds, she got close to him and she threw herself at him, practically climbing up onto him, wrapping her arms and her legs around his body. He had never been so happy to get his arms around his sister before.

"Oh, thank god. Wo, where have you been?" she cried into his shoulder and he held her just a fraction tighter.

"Where have I been, where have you been?" he cried back. He ran his hands over her, waiting for moans or sharps cries of pains. He didn't see anything outwardly wrong with her other than dirt and a few scrapes. Was she really alright?

"I've been through hell, I swear."

And he believed her. Still he held her as she shook in his grasp, he pulled his head out just to call for Conejo.

He heard the man answer him in a tone that was very disrespectful, but he was too busy hugging his sister to care. So he didn't notice when Conejo came out of the building, arms laden with everything he had just stolen. He came to a complete standstill when he finally saw who was grappled onto Wo.

"Oh my god! Rowan!" He ripped that stupid white mask off and then rushed them. As soon as he got close, she let go of Wo Fat and grappled onto him. "You're okay. She's okay! Oh my god I'm so happy to see you!"

"I'm happy to see you too!"

He pulled away from her, a scowl on his face, for a second Wo Fat was certain that the man was crying. "You are in so much trouble, young lady. I swear to god, you are never allowed out of my sight again!"

Wo Fat slapped his shoulder and then grabbed her, pulling him back to her as if to shield her from him Conejo's voice. "Don't yell at her."

Rowan snuggled into him and he held her so tightly for a moment there that he swore she stopped breathing. "I want to go home Wo."

He finally put her down to the ground, he looked her over. Her face pale with red streaks, her eyes blue and watery, her arms wrapped haphazardly with bandages.

"Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine, please… I want to go home."

"You're not… you don't have..."

Rowan shook her head. "Running on empty, but you guys got here somehow… right?"

"Wo Fat got us a battle chopper."

"We'll have to go to Japan, I have business to take care of."

"She uh… she gave me up, didn't she," she asked in a small voice.

"Yes. She did. As you can understand I am very displeased."

Rowan half smiled. "Home first, then we get vengeance. Please and thank you."

As per usual Wo Fat caved to Rowan's demands. Though Conejo had give her a piggyback through the forest, she was bone tired after all, eventually they made it back to the chopper. Where, once they were in the air, Wo Fat pulled Rowan to him, so she could rest her head on his lap and he could relive the day he met her.

Her head in his lap, her arms wrapped around his leg, his arm over her chest to hold her there.

Within four hours they were back in Japan where Rowan used the last of her energy to pull the energising ray to herself. With one blast from that energizing ray she was strong enough to open a portal to accommodate the three of them. Then they were home and there they would stay until they all felt better.
