It had been two days since the Sports Festival ended and it was finally time for Izuku and his crew to head back to UA. Of course, he had to use the [Door-Door Fruit] to let himself and his friends reach the school campus without getting hounded by passersby for their performance at the festival.

"Oh, hey, Iida!"

Izuku perked up as he heard Makoto call out to Tenya, who was taking off his raincoat due to it raining outside.

"Ah, Midoriya and company!" He greeted. "Glad to see you are also early birds!"

"Hey, Iida..." Lilique worriedly spoke up. "We...We heard about what happened to Tensei."

Tenya frowned, a somber look appearing on his face for a moment before he shook his head to shake the dark thoughts out.

"He's doing better thanks to help from Depestilous...but he's pulling from Hero Work."

"What?!" Kohaku gasped. "But why?"

"It was Stain," Tenya said, a scowl appearing on his face briefly. "Tensei managed to find out his motives; he's on a mad crusade to remove so-called 'false heroes' from the world. He did think highly of Tensei's status as a hero, but it's clear Stain is willing to attack anyone who tries to get in the way of what he believes are righteous actions."

"Hero Killer...isn't he that fruitcake who's killed 60 heroes already?" Yaato asked.

"Yes, and he crippled Tensei." Tenya nodded. "Depestilous was able to heal the worst of the damage done but Tensei has decided to retire in order to send a clear message to Stain."

"A-Are you doing okay though?" Kobeni asked shakily.

Tenya gave a thankful smile. "I'll admit, I feel a sense of anger, but Tensei has told me not to let it control me. But enough about such somber moments, let's head to our classes!"

-OP-

As Izuku and his crew made their way to class, Tenya headed to Class 1-A to see his classmates in good spirits. Yamato came over and slung an arm over his shoulder with a friendly smile.

"Hey, Iida! You doing okay?"

"Yes, I'm doing just fine, Yamato-San. But please, refrain from such aggressive acts of affection."

"Hey, you look like you need a friend to lend an ear to, okay?"

"You're looking a lot chipper than usual, Todoroki. What's up?" Carrot asked Shoto, noticing the peaceful look on his face.

"I was finally able to reconcile with my mom, for starters. But more than that, it was what the people who recognized me called me on the way here." He gave a tiny smile. "They called me Shoto."

"Good to hear!" Koby smiled. "I'm glad to see that you're coming out of your shell and accepting yourself for you and not just the son of Endeavor."

Aizawa soon entered the room, causing the students to quickly hurry to their seats. The Erasure Hero nodded in approval at how fast and efficient they were at getting ready for class before speaking up.

"Today's going to be a big class and a joint lesson with Class 1-B and 1-C. To that end, I have a small announcement. This normally wouldn't be brought up since it doesn't involve our class, but Vlad King, the homeroom teacher for Class 1-B, had Monoma Neito shunted down to General Ed due to his poor performance in the Sports Festival, and overall bad sportsmanship."

"Good. He was...pardon my language...a pain in the ass." Momo said.

"You've been pardoned, Yaoyorozu." Aizawa chuckled. "In his place, Hitoshi Shinso has been elevated to the Hero Course in Class 1-B due to his exceptional performance and reaching the final tournament."

Koby smiled. "Awesome! He made it after all!"

"Today's lesson sounds boring, but trust me when I say you're going to enjoy it. It's called 'Hero Informatics'. Or, to put it in layman's terms..." Aizawa began and allowed his students to finish for him.

"HERO NAMES!" The class cheered collectively.

"Alright, alright, settle down. This is related to the Pro Hero draft picks that were mentioned shortly after the Sports Festival. Normally drafting is only done for second or third-year students. But the hero course is an exception." Aizawa said. "In fact, by drafting students like you, heroes are essentially investing in your future. Any offers for you may be rescinded, however, if their interest in you dies down. You'll still have to prove yourself after getting recruited."

"Talk about pressure," Minoru noted. "Adults are so selfish!"

"Please remember that after you successfully obtain a provisional hero license later down the line, you may swap between any agencies that have drafted you until you find one suited to your needs. Being a hero is important work, but it's still another job at the end of the day, no different from police or rescue work." Aizawa said as he turned on a monitor to showcase the list of offers each student got.

The students were surprised at just how separated the offers were in big gaps. The ones with the highest were Koby, Yamato, N, Shoto, Uta, Carrot, Ellie, Momo, and Eijirou.

"Holy cow, this is insane, Iida!" Ochako said, shaking Tenya from behind. "Look at how many offers there are for everyone!"

"Now, you'll all be doing internships. You were able to get some impromptu experience fighting villains during the attack on the USJ. But it'll still be helpful to get to see a pro at work." Aizawa continued. "Some might even permit you to fight against a villain if they think you can handle it. The names you'll be getting will likely be temporary, but you should still take them seriously. If you're only remembered for an embarrassing name, it tends to stick with you for life."

"Yup! Otherwise there's hell to pay!" Midnight said as she strutted in. "Come with us, kiddies! We're going to the auditorium for our Hero Names!"

-OP-

All-Might and Vlad King had told the same things to their classes and now, all three Hero Course classes were gathered in the auditorium, a pedestal placed with a holographic projector behind it that would allow the students to show their names to everyone.

"Take some time to think out your code names, kids!" Midnight said. "No rush and no pressure on anybody!"

The students were all handed whiteboards and black markers. After all of them were finished, Class 1-A decided to be the ones to start as Yuuga was the first to step up.

"Feast your eyes on my éblouissant name!" The Franco-Japanese boy said as he presented his whiteboard on the projector. "The Shining Hero: I Cannot Stop Twinkling!"

"That's a whole damn sentence, dumbass!" Rebecca barked out.

"I dunno, my old internship mentor was called His Royal Purple Highness." Midnight giggled.

"Um, Aoyama, I don't mean to be rude, but may I make a suggestion?" Izuku chimed in before using the [Calm-Calm Fruit] to privately give his ideas to Yuuga, who beamed as he redid his name and presented it again.

"The Shining Hero: Lumière!"

"And suddenly I'm thinking of Disney," Ben smirked with Penny giggling in agreement.

"Hands off, boys! This is my Hero Name!" Mina declared and presented her whiteboard. "WAIFU!"

Most of the girls began giggling and even the boys couldn't help but smirk. Mina then realized what was on her whiteboard and blanched as she scrubbed it out, blushing a deep lilac.

"I have no idea how that happened! Here's my real name!" She then presented again. "The Glamorous Hero: Alien Queen!"

"Ashido, sweetie, I love the spunk you're going for but..." Midnight bit her lip. "We REALLY don't want to have a lawsuit on our hands. You've heard what happened with All Might and Marvel, right?"

Evryone shuddered, while Mina pouted before changing the name a little. "Fine! Acid Pink! Take it or leave it!"

"Perfect!"

"I've actually had this name in mind since grade school," Tsuyu said as she went next. "The Rainy Season Hero: Froppy!"

"It's absolutely adorable. It fits you." N chuckled.

Tenya sighed as he looked at what he chose for his name before stepping up to the podium, feeling great pressure on his shoulders before taking a deep breath and exhaling, releasing the tension.

"This was decided between my brother and I in light of his early retirement. I need to become my own Hero with his own merits..." He then presented his name. "The Overdrive Hero: Reciprium!"

"Well, I see no reason to reject it," Aizawa said. "So long as you make the name your own."

Tenya nodded. "I intend to."

"Alright! Get ready, everyone!" Eijirou said as he went next. "The Sturdy Hero: Red Riot!"

"Ah, an homage to the Chivalrous Hero: Crimson Riot," Vlad King noted.

"Yeah, he's my grandpa! He's pretty much been my idol ever since I was a baby!" Eijirou beamed proudly.

"A year ago I would have just stuck with my name to showcase who I am. But now I'm confident enough to have a hero identity all my own." Shoto said as he went next. "The Freezerburn Hero: Celsius."

Ben smiled. "Good to see you found your conviction."

"Well, I believe this sounds like a fitting name for me and my power." N chuckled as he went next. "The Monster Hero: Pokedex."

"Sounds like a menagerie!" Koby smiled before presenting his name. "The Navy Hero: Admiral!"

"Hehe, works for you. As for me..." Yamato grinned. "The Beast Child Hero: Okami!"

"Me next! Me next!" Carrot cheered. "The Mink Hero: White Rabbit!"

"Nice, Carrot." Uta smiled as she went next. "The Songstress Hero: U-Pop!"

"Badass, girlfriend." Ellie chuckled. "The Catch-A-Ride Hero: Scrapyard!"

One by one, the rest of Class 1-A went with their chosen Hero Names:

Ochako: The Gravity Hero: Uravity

Oujiro: The Martial Arts Hero: Tailspin

Denki: The Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt

Kouji: The Petting Hero: Anima

Rikidou: The Sweets Hero: Sugar Man

Shouji: The Tentacle Hero: Tentacole

Sero: The Taping Hero: Cellophane

Fumikage: The Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi

Tooru: The Refracting Hero: Prism

Minoru: The Freshly Picked Hero: Grape Juice

Momo: The Everything Hero: Lady Creati

"WONDERFUL!" Toshinori cheered, buffing up into his All-Might Form. "YOU ALL ARE TRULY STEPPING INTO YOUR OWN AS TREMENDOUS HEROES!"

"Alright, Class 1-B! Line up and get ready!" Vlad King barked, having his students go next.

"Okay, here it is..." Awase said as he went first. "The Construction Hero: Welder!"

"This next one might sound sinister, but I feel it fits with my theme," Kuroiro said as he went next. "The Scheming Hero: Vantablack!"

"There's nothing wrong with a sinister-sounding hero name. My Hero Name is Vlad King, which along with my blood-based Quirk could conjure up images of Vlad the Impaler. Yet I'm still a hero through and through." Vlad King reassured.

Fumikage nodded in approval. "Revelry in the dark. A fellow practitioner of the noble shadows."

Kuroiro noticed this and smiled, thankful to see someone in his rival, no, sibling class with an affectoion for the creepty

"Hope this doesn't make you mad, Maishirao!" Itsuka called to Oujiro as she came up for her turn. "The Kung-Fu Hero: Battle Fist!"

"This shall be the name that brings holy divinity to all," Ibara said as she put up her whiteboard. "The Divine Hero: Faith!"

"To be honest, for all that I wanted to join this course, I honestly didn't think it would happen. But now that I am here, I'm happy to say I know the sort of hero I want to be." Hitoshi said as he came up. "The Cunning Hero: Mindhacker!"

"That name really suits you, Shinso!" Koby praised.

"We've got a few big shots in our class, huh? Might as well see if I can top them!" Vivi giggled as she went next. "The Desert Hero: Alubarna!"

"Heh, you're gonna get a kick out of this!" Nimona grinned. "The Monstrous Hero: Shifter!"

"This shall be my name that inspires truth and justice in all!" Seryu proudly said as she and Koro presented next. "The Justice Hero: Jaeger!"

"Yosh! Here's my hot-blooded Hero Name!" Inasa grinned as he went next. "The Hurricane Hero: Gale Force!"

The rest of Class 1-B soon took their turns as well:

Sen: The Drilling Hero: Spiral

Togaru: The Insectoid Hero: Jack Mantis

Yui: The Shrink-N-Grow Hero: Rule

Kinoko: The Fungus Hero: Shemage

Jurota: The Beastly Hero: Gevaudan

Shouda: The Rebound Hero: Mines

Pony: The Stampede Hero: Rocketti

Tsuburaba: The Exosphere Hero: Pane Blower

Tetsutetsu: The Heavy Metal Hero: Real Steel

Manga: The SFX Hero: Comic Man

Juuzo: The Sinkhole Hero: Mudman

Bondo: The Adhesive Hero: Plamo

Reiko: The Phantasmal Hero: Emily

Rin: The Oriental Hero: Dragon Shroud

"Those are some damn beautiful names!" Midnight said. "I love all of them!"

"Alright, my young zygotes!" All-Might called out to Izuku's Crew. "It's time for your turn!"

"You guys all happy with your names?" Izuku asked his friends, who all nodded. "Good...let's give them a show."

Every single member of the crew stood up and went side by side at the podium, all of them shouting their chosen Hero Names off one by one:

"The Ground Zero Hero: Dynamight!" Katsuki shouted.

"The Great Swordswoman Hero: Carmilla!" Himiko cheered.

"The Elemental Hero: Toa!" Marco announced, Click chirping alongside him. Many cooed at the beetle, while others were interested in Marco's choice, so he explained: "Where I come from, 'Toa' is the title given to a hero."

Once everyone understood and approved, the name reveals continued.

"The Big Beautiful Hero: Virtuna!" Hilda declared.

"The Assimilation Hero: Absorbing Gal!" Rosa cheered.

"The All for All Hero: Quirksmith!" Ben announced.

"The Wrath Hero: Meliodas!" Makoto shouted.

"The Greed Hero: Ban!" Yaato grinned.

"The Sloth Hero: Fairy King!" Chikara shouted.

"The Envy Hero: Diane!" Kohaku cheered.

"The Lust Hero: Gowther," Shun said calmly.

"The Gluttony Hero: Merlin!" Sumiko smirked.

"The Pride Hero: Escanor!" Kazuya nodded firmly.

"The Cyborg Hero: Cyberpunk" Rebecca grinned.

"The Reaper Hero: Grim Fandango!" Milo smirked.

"The Star Hero: Astro Girl!" Kirby beamed.

"The Zora Hero: Grace!" Mipha smiled.

"The Sniper Hero: Sogeking!" Kobeni squeaked out.

"The Wildcat Hero: Regulus!" Nia smirked.

"The Soldier Hero: Fenrir." Mukuro calmly spoke.

"The Ecclesian Hero: Eliatrope!" Bakara proudly announced.

"The Navigator Hero: Asticassia!" Lilique beamed.

"The Bio-Droid Hero: Mega Girl!" Penny smiled.

Finally there was Izuku, who smiled as he looked at his name before going last and announcing his name the loudest to everyone.

"The Devil Fruit Hero: Dekiru!"

-OP-

After the Hero Names were all finished and approved, Toshinori looked through the offers for the first-year students in the teacher's lounge before looking to see an internship that Izuku got which made him go pale.

"Oh no...NOT HIM!"

In order to keep his mind off who it was that gave Izuku that internship, he went through the others before deciding to check on who Hilda would work best with and one name caught his attention.

"Regenizard...Hero-682 of the SCP Foundation..." He smiled as memories of the man in question filled his head. "I have a feeling you'll be just the right person for Young Whitelane, old friend."

-OP-

"Your internships will last for one week. And some of you will get the chance to intern with teachers." Aizawa said as he and Vlad King spoke with their respective classes.

"Wait, really?" Sero asked.

Vlad King nodded. "We may be your teachers, but we are still Pro Heroes. Our agencies are still active as well, run by our sidekicks while we're here teaching the next generation."

"You'll each have a list based on the offers you received. Make sure to give each some consideration based on the hero you want to be. Each agency has its own specialty." Aizawa said. "For example, someone wanting to be a Rescue Hero wouldn't want to join an agency focused on fighting villains. Turn in your choices before the weekend."

As the students of 1-A and 1-B went over their decisions, Shoto couldn't help but think back to Garp's offer back at the Sports Festival.

Flashback!

"Why don't you come study under me?"

Shoto knew he should be amazed, enthralled even, to hear the Hero in front of him making such an offer. Normally he would.

But seeing as Garp was stuffing Rice crackers in his mouth and looking distracted, one might see why the two-toned boy wasn't.

"So you can mold me into Endeavour 2.0?"

Garp broke into a laugh.

"BAHAHAHAHAHA! Heck no! You're not Enji! And I don't want you to be! Hell, NOBODY wants to be Enji! Not even Enji"

That took Shoto for a spin….and made him crack a smile.

"Volume and element-wise? You are the cream of the crop, easily on your way to Pro-Hood. You also know how to end fights quickly too, so you're not dumb either. But physically and emotionally? You're average."

Shoto glared at that note, but let Garp continue.

"Now, that's partly on Enji; hate him all you want, but the fact he never subjected you to what I put Kuzan, Dragon and Hisashi through proves he does have a heart and brain. On the other hand, with your whole spiting deal, your fire half is GROSSLY underdeveloped and in need of shaping up. That and thinking you could spam your elements your whole life is just kindergarten level thinking that'll get you killed.

"…And you can help with that?" Shoto asked.

Garp nodded.

"I may not have been born with a Quirk, but you don't last as long as I have without learning to analyze and change plans on the fly. That…and I think some time out of Japan and on the sea would be good for ya."

The room went silent as the two-toned boy thought the words over. Then, with a deep breath and smile, he nodded.

"I accept your offer."

Flashback end!

"Hey Koby, mind if we ask you something?" Momo asked as she and Fumikage approached the pink-haired boy.

"What's up, Yaoyorozu?"

"We revived offers from some semi-retired heroes. We were wondering if you had any experience with them." Fumikage said as he and Momo showed the specific offers.

Koby looked through them and his eyes widened in recognition as he gave Momo and Fumikage approving smiles.

"They're perfect! Great Staff Officer Tsuru and Buddhist Sengoku! They're close friends of Garp-Sensei!"

"Then we would be fools to pass up this opportunity," Fumikage said with Momo nodding in agreement.

"I've made my choice as well. At first, I was considering Manual. He patrols Hosu, and since Stain was last seen there it would be a good chance to confront him. But I think it might be best to focus on improving my combat first." Tenya said as he presented his offer. "I'm going with Swift Sculpt, Hero-173 of the SCP Foundation."

"Yo, guys! Miruko gave me an offer!" Mina cheered. "She's so badass and she's one of the Top 10 Heroes!"

"Awww, lucky!" Setsuna grinned.

"I'm just gonna stick here with Aizawa-Sensei," Hitoshi said. "We...kinda share similar sets of skills."

"Mount Lady and Metal Bat sent me a joint offer," Kyouka noted. "Well, Metal Bat IS part of the S-Rankers and he is one of my favorites..."

"An internship was sent to me by an old friend of my Ma," Ellie said. "His name is Roland and he's one of the Navy Heroes."

"I'm going with this hero in particular." N smiled. "The Genetic Hero: Mewtwo."

"No way! The guy who used to be a Villain before he was talked down and decided to go Hero?" Denki asked.

N smiled. "The very same. I was actually there during his Villain days and witnessed a miracle; Ash Ketchum, the young boy who helped me escape Ghetsis' hold, was the one to convince him that this world was worth fighting for."

Meanwhile, somewhere else in Japan:

"ACHOO!"

SNIFFLE!

"Honey, are you sure you're okay?"

"Nothing to worry about dear, probably N talked about me."

-OP-

"So…who ARE we going to go to?" Chiakra asked. "I mean, I like Majestic and everyone who sent us offers has potential…"

"Not Red Dog." Bakura growled. "NEVER. RED. DOG."

"How he hasn't lost his hero license yet I'll never understand." Mipha sighed. "It may be on the nose, but I'm thinking maybe Manual, Water Hose or Selkie….I'd love to see Boss again, but I'd be too distracted by our ancestral home to focus."

"Daddy sent me an offer, along with Makoto and Marco." Himiko pointed out. "Sword users and all."

Makoto beamed at that, then spied Nia straightening herself up.

"Oh, Uncle Lucci invited me to intern with him at CP9. Apparently, their idiot boss is on medical leave and they don't have any super dangerous assignments…I also think he just wants to rub it in Jabara's face he at least has me…I don't know, their rivalry is weird."

"Best Jeanist sent me and Kirbs an offer." Bakugo mused with a smile.

"Actually sweetie? I might go with Penny, Ben and Lilque under Fatgum." The alien girl admitted, the loud pomerian's usual arrogance vanishing

"B-but…But we always…We're supposed…."

And then, in the most un-Bakugo like way, he sobbed as he hugged his beloved, wailing.

"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE, BABY! I WON'T LAST A DAY IN THAT STUFFY PRICK'S CARE!"

Kirby simply patted Bakugo's head and shushed him lovingly, which distracted him from the other's laughing.

"I think I might try Gunhead." Yatto remarked, Kobeni nodding in agrrement. "He's more street level, but I do like a martial artist type of hero."

"Ryukyu looks cool." Kohaku mused, then pouted. "Better than Mount Lady unless her boyfriend is there?"

They all muttered in agreement, before they spied Izuku literally buried under offers.

"Um…captain?" Yaato asked. "Don't you…?"

"Oh yeah!" Izuku managed. "The Paper-Paper fruit!... Right…Forgot about that…One second."

And the offers suddenly took not the sky before fashioning themselves into an overcoat that wrapped round the boy's shoulders, letting him see the time and whistle.

"5:00 already?"

Realizing how late it was getting, the crew began to pack up.

"But Captain!" Yaato whined. "We still haven't finalized who we're interning under!"

"Let's just go home and sleep on it for now." Izuku suggested, stifling a yawn as he went to get the door. "Maybe a full night's sleep will help."

"Oh yes, sleep filled with dreams of you and your precious gravity mochi maiden…" Sumiko and Milo sniggered together, delighting in Izuku's tensing and blushing.

"I AM HERE...IN AN BIZAARE POSITION!"

Indeed; the #1 Pro was leaning forward as if he'd been listening in, his form tight and his face filled with unease.'

"Oh, hey, All-Might. What's up?" Ben asked.

"I need to show you kids something..." Toshinori sighed as he deflated to his normal skinny self. "I'll cut straight to the point; Young Midoriya got an offer from someone I haven't seen in a long time..."

"And just who made this offer?" Izuku asked.

All-Might started shaking before finally being able to stutter out two words:

"G-G-Gran Torino."

"Who?" Rosa asked.

"He was an old friend of my mentor and the one who helped train me when I first got OFA..." Toshinori explained. "I can still feel the punches...!"

Izuku hummed in interest as Toshinori then handed another offer to Hilda, whose eyes widened in surprise before smiling.

"Alright! This guy sounds perfect for me!"
