Ch. 16: Round One Of The Vytal Festival
Red and Black
Marinette makes a quick visit to her father's grave and says she found Amber and tells him about her team and her other friends at Beacon. She then leaves back for Beacon and the Vytal Festival starts with team MAAC battling team FLMZ (pronounced Films)
Which contains Felix Blue, Adrien's cousin. A yellow haired, sixteen-year-old. Wearing a purple zipped up vest over a light purple long sleeved shirt, dark purple gloves, dark purple belt, purple shorts over light purple pants and dark purple shoes.
Luka Ouroboros, Juleka's half-brother. A sixteen-year-old with blue hair (thanks to dye) and was wearing a long-sleeved green shirt with a dark green sleeveless jacket over it, dark green gloves, dark green belt, green pants and dark green shoes
Mylene Thumbelina and Zoe Chronos, Chloe's half-sister. Who was a blonde with a black streak of hair, fourteen-year-old. Who was wearing a black beanie, a yellow zipped up varsity jacket that had black stripes and the jacket stopped over the stomach, underneath the jacket was a black shirt, black fingerless gloves, yellow cargo pants with black stripes and black shoes
And the competition started with Marinette throwing her yo-yo at Zoe who stopped it's motion before it hit her with her semblance, Stop Watch. Which allows her to stop the motion of anything she touches or speed it up.
And Zoe got out of the way of the yo-yo and pulled Marinette towards her with it, only for Marinette to use the momentum to punch Zoe in the face and then tied her up with Marinette's yo-yo (which was now no longer under the effect of Zoe's semblance) but before Marinette could do anything with Zoe
Zoe launched her spinning top at Marinette twice with it's speed having been altered so it will go faster and while Marinette avoids the attacks, Zoe get's out of the yo-yo and with her semblance freezes Marinette's clothing
Trapping her and Zoe simply drags her out of the arena floor but before she gets Marinette out of the arena floor, that's when Adrien shows up
Black and Green
When the match began. Adrien fought against Mylene, well trying to as she shrunk herself with her semblance. Shrink Oneself, which allows her to shrink herself and anything on her or with her. Only for Mylene to grow herself to normal size while punching Adrien and then shrink again
When Adrien tried to hit her and then he spread gravity dust all over the floor and then swatted at the air. Not only hitting Mylene but also getting her in the red, then he went to Marinette who was in trouble and sneaks up on Zoe and knocks her out with a super strength punch
Putting her in the red and unfreezing Marinette's clothes, freeing her.
Gold
When the match started, Chloe fought against Luka who made himself invisible with his semblance. Invisible, which allows him to make himself invisible. But she simply spread ice dust everywhere, not only revealing where he is but also freezing him in place
Chloe then turns the block of ice he is in to gold and then knocks him out with a punch to the face, putting him in the red
Orange
When the fight began, Alya was fighting Felix who with his semblance, Metal Thing. That can create anything out of metal that he controls. And used it to create a metal man and the two double teamed her by fighting her at the same time with punching her in the stomach but Alya threw a wave of fire thanks to fire dust
Melting the metal man but Felix jumped over it and sent a wave of wind at her with his wind powered fan but Alya ducked under it and kicked him in the balls and while Felix was nursing his wound.
He created a big ball of pure metal and made it flout towards Alya at high speeds who hit it with her flute but it was just too big and heavy to be affected by her flute hitting it, that's when the ball of metal opened up and encased Alya's middle
And Felix was about to make it throw Alya out of the arena floor when Marinette, Adrien and Chloe showed up with Marinette tieing Felix up with her yo-yo and Alya freeing herself by melting the metal with fire from fire dust
And Marinette threw him with her yo-yo out of the arena floor. Winning team MAAC the round and afterwords Chloe introduces the team to her half-sister Zoe and Adrien does the same thing with his cousin Felix
Who tells them "I know, you guys know that Penny is a robot. Don't worry, I won't tell as I have her best interests at heart unlike Ironwood who sees her as nothing but a machine for war. Yah, I know that's why she was built for seeing as my semblance helped in her creation but still."
"Wow, your semblance helped in her creation?" Adrien asked in wonder, only for Felix to say "How do you think I was able to get my mechanical eye with Polendina's help, he was the one who created it."
"Polendina, like Penny's father? Polendina, that Polendina?" Marinette asked only for Felix to say "Yep, so who are the two going in for your team?" "Me and Marinette, that's who." Chloe said with flare
