Author: Since I had a friend request to use Ayame as a character in their own fanfiction I decided to write a whole character profile for her. If any want to use her go ahead but give me credit for creator's sake.

Original Character:

Utsunomiya Ayame

Name meaning: Ayame means 'Iris' in japanese. Meanwhile Utsunomiya is inspired by a real clan that existed and a place by the same name that exists in northern Kantō region in Japan.

Age: Around 200 years old current year story timeline.

Birthday: February 2nd

Zodiac: Aquarius

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 120ib

Eyes: Purple, almond shaped

Hair color/style: Coal black, Suberakashi style, her straight hair is knee length.

Skin color: Pale

Body Shape: Curvy and petite, round face with soft features, medium busom (36C bra size for comparison).

Personality: Polite in conversation, Altruistic, critical, blunt, vulnerable to direct displays of affection, has trouble saying "No". Secretly a romantic who keeps her feelings to herself. Can be a bit manipulative herself but these actions tend to backfire on her and her interests. Her words always hold a deeper meaning and is somewhat passive aggressive.

Favorite colors: Red, violet, orange and pink.

Clothing: Shihakusho fashioned similar to junihitoe lolita with a red expensive mantle (samurai manto), Wears silken robes on all occasions with seasonal colors. In human world she dresses in up to date clothing.

Hobbies: Reading, forensic investigations, psychology, charity.

Likes: Helping those in need, Flattery, Getting to understand others.

Dislikes: Too little work, touchy people, hot weather, drinking too much.

Hates: Betrayal.

Loves: Seeing men try to get her hand, Flattery, Staying at her family's peaceful rural estate in the north of Soul Society, Taking care of others, Strawberry jam mochi.

Squad: The Thirteenth division, Wanted to join the investigations corp but her family forbade her from joining. Instead teaches a class on psychological forensics in the shinoreijutsuin academy. She basically invented the class.

Family:

Utsunomiya Kaori - Grandmother, A widowed nun.

Shiba Daisatsu - A great uncle of the Shiba siblings, Her deceased grandfather.

Utsunomiya Hachiryu - Her father.

Lady Tsuyoi - Her mother, Mother of Ayame and Shima.

Utsunomiya Kiriina - Eldest Half-sister.

Utsunomiya Shima - Older blood brother. Possesses an heirloom zanpakuto that his family has kept secret ever since inception.

Family Notes - The Shiba siblings are her cousins once removed. So, Yes, She's related to Kaien, Isshin and their younger siblings.

- Shiba and Utsunomiya house have been allies for many thousands of years. While politically inclined Tsunayashiro had rivalry with the money grubbing merchants Utsunomiya for the longest time, Kuchiki preferred to keep a neutral law, order in larger society and Shihoin preferred to protect the royals as wardens.

- One of Ayame's handmaidens is one of Jūshiro's many siblings. A young woman named Ukitake Nastu (an OC).

- The son of house Urahara joined Shima when he was offered to the Shihoin.

The Temple Of Taiyohime - A religion which exercises freedom, courage, love and charity. Mostly ignored and pushed into the background by other nobles and bureaucrats. A temple which focuses on the teachings and mysteries of Taiyohime. A being of immaculate flesh and soul with many secrets and virtues. The only noble founder to be enshrined and sainted.

Children:

Utsunomiya Yoshitora - Her first son. A very pale boy mistaken for a ghost but there is nothing sickly about him. He is often detested by his father (Who tells him he created him to hate him and tried to kill him a few times.) but spoiled by his mother. Yoshitora, Despite having such parents chooses to do his own thing, An independent individual with a quiet but well meaning personality. His hobby is astrology and dabbles in onmyoji technique. Quite talented and innovative in purifying techniques. He later inherits his father's confiscated zanpakuto which reverted back into an asauchi. His zanpakuto spirit is an onmyōji named Shinzenkokuji Hamashi. His zanpakuto is also haunted by a yurei of Kakyō who took up residence there.

- A second child. The second's well being is unknown, as of unwilling removal several months before birth.

- Twins from her second marriage.

Spouses and engagements:

Byakuya Kuchiki - She was engaged to him before she was even born, Engaged from the moment her parents discovered her gender while in the womb.

- He's one of five people who don't view her as an object, a property or doll.

- He's the only person who knows her darker side, which terrorifies him but garners empathetic understanding from him.

Tokinada Tsunayashiro -

- Knows that she understands empathy and uses that to manipulate her.

- She acts like she doesn't favor his advances or antics but actually does, He knows it.

- He knows the words that she wants hear, In turn it's the same way from her to him.

- Secretly, Ayame does remind him of Kakyō. But a Kakyō that would actually kill him and he likes that.

- He often wishes Ayame would beat him up from time to time, Her passivity bothers him.

- He likes it when she slaps him.

- Despite calling her his property and a prize he does view her as equal.

- He doesn't understand or notice her own machinations. But uses her in his own.

Zanpakuto-ish power: "Saitenno Ō'Chō"

[Note: Ō'cho basically is not a zanpakuto spirit, An ego. However if he ever was defeated he'd end up being trapped in a place where he stored a part of his soul inside. Hence, He is not Ayame's zanpakuto, Just a companion who chooses to support her because of a promised bond.]

- Millions of hungry glowing butterflies eat the bodies of their enemies causing drain, paralysis and slow but painful instant kill. The butterflies return to their originator as the substance gained from eating the target's konpaku is reverted into pure energy to be used to heal the wounded and replace what is bodily lost.

- In the form of a million butterflies or just in his default humanoid form, Ō'Chō can separate himself to do multiple tasks or eat multiple enemies in his butterfly form.

- The souls that he eats are cleansed (Including hollow types) and returned to an original state. The cleansed souls are regurgitated or trapped in the West-Heavens, A place of magic, phantasms, jumping vampires, mystical creatures, troublesome monkey tribes, great scholars, warrior gods and divine kings and queens. Ō'Chō's body can also be used as a gate way to West-Heaven.

Notes about Ō'Chō:

- West Heaven is one of the realms not governed by natural and metaphysical law, While Reverse London is another. These fantasy lands are not governed by the laws of the three worlds. West-Heaven among them is the oldest, everything here is pure soul and chaotic, beyond reasoning. It is a place of dreams and nightmares.

- West-Heaven is inspired by 'Journey To The West.'

- Older than the Mad Monk. Probably one of the oldest but wisest beings in the universe.

- His chinese name is Wang Hudi ... Sounds more imposing I guess.

- Ō'Chō is a multidimensional, Butterfly-fae, eldritch, immortal god.

- The perfect counter to Ō'Chō's devouring power is Sode no Shirayuki's bankai. However, If he is frozen he doesn't break and shatter just remains in a frozen stasis.

- In the three realms Ō'Chō is a representation of nature's devouring and replenishing cycle. While in West-Heaven he is seen as a 'cannibalistic' god-king who disappeared a million years ago and a being beyond understanding.

- Wears glittery golden Shang Dynasty style robes.

- He has full will to act on his own, But will always will be in Ayame's interest and safety.

- He has a humanoid form similar to Yachiru Nozarashi but prefers not to show himself to shinigami because his human form may garner unwanted attention. His human form is that of a tall and handsome strawberry blonde adult male with golden eyes.

- He uses Ayame's body as a room of sorts. Her strong spiritual essence masks his own but highly skilled and experienced shinigami can sense him.

- He doesn't have a romantic relationship with her but offers her comfort, friendship and assurance when needed. His love for her transcends flesh, emotional and primal inclinations.

Friends:

Yoruichi - Much to Ayame's future dismay, When she was young Yoruichi would dress her up like those porcelain girl dolls. Putting ribbons in her hair and buying her colorful kimono's. Yoruichi just wanted a baby sister.

Kisuke - He would often tease her and treat her as a doll that could easily break. Both are related but removed by 5 generations.

Ukitake Nastu - Joined the temple after Ayame did and left with her. She is a fired woman who talks a little too much but is a good friend to Ayame and makes her happy.

Jūshiro - A friend, teacher and captain. An influence in her interest in psychology. She has always admired his work "Sōgyō's Refusal!", leaving positive reviews.

Biography: She was born on the second of February, A day apart from her future arranged fiance. Ayame's mother and Sōjun's wife were life long friends so maybe it was coordinated. The girl's earliest days were spent being passed between her mother and a nanny. At the age of seven to the age of fourteen Ayame was confined to the Temple Of Taiyohime to learn academia, social and life skills. The skills the heir of her household needed to lead. She would often be visited by her sister, her sister's friend Yoruichi and her elder brother.
