Original characters:
Tsunayashiro Tsuchimikado: Went to Shinoreijutsuin academy at the same time as Tokinada and Shunsui. A former lout who spent most of his nights in the red lights district seeking out prostitutes with Shunsui. After a failed assassination attempt on his life (One ordered by his younger brother Tokinada, But Mikado doesn't know.), Mikado decided to change his life around. He spent over a century improving his technique and eventually achieved in becoming the third lieutenant of squad one. A seat which he knew would make eyebrows raise if he one day turned up dead. Much to his younger brother's pleasure; Everyday Mikado lives in fear for his own life. Mikado is Itō's favorite living son.
Tsunayashiro Itō: Tokinada's mother. Known for her noble bloodline and fertility. She had about eleven children, five sons (three are dead) and six daughters (all married off). Now an old woman, She both fears, hates her youngest son and does everything in her power to undermine him.
Tsunayashiro Tokifusa: Simply, Itō's husband and father of all her children. The dying head of the household.
Tsunayashiro Tokihira: The grand uncle, Next in line for leadership. A man who is too generous to the younger members of the Tsunayashiro. Others often question why he's still living given the fighting for political power amongst his brothers and their children.
House Utsunomiya: "The Merchants of the Divine" Oversees the economic prosperity of soul society. Where Tsunayashiro has the most political power, Utsunomiya has the most economic power and is absurdly wealthy. Has wealth that could buy the first district of rukongai a hundred times over. All lesser noble clans starting with the letter "U" are lower houses of this clan. Brides and grooms from this clan are considered a household blessing for their education, financial management, and steady lifestyle, however there's been rumors spread throughout society of the supposed black hearts of ice these spouses possess. Which are not entirely true. The main house of Utsunomiya remains highly ritualistic and holds true to their antediluvian traditions. The Utsunomiya household bears the symbol of the eclipsed sun.
Lady Ayame: Daughter of Hachiryu and Tsuyoi. She is reserved, secretive and not easy to trust others. A member of squad 13 and teaches a class on investigation, critical thinking and psychology at Shin'O Academy. She may have the highest amounting spiritual pressure of her clan but doesn't have the ambition or drive to utilize her god given abilities. As the "sacred heir" child Ayame was never allowed to leave the family estate and temple - servants waited on her every need. She was accustomed to it but internally hated what her family was doing. It was only when she became a teenager she was allowed to leave for the outside soul world.
Lord Hachiryu: Head of the family. An impassive and traditional man with a master knowledge on brewery and mathematics. Was friends with the late Sōjun Kuchiki, whom was his opposite in every way. He's a brutish massive muscled man who smokes cigars, talks like a yakuza kingpin and walks around with highly skilled armed bodyguards and a mastiff named Mitsu (honey). His zanpakuto, inspired by Shuten Doji, is an oni mace that inflicts drunkenness.
Lady Tsuyoi: Hachiryu's wife. Seems to be a neurotic foolish woman hell bent on getting her daughters married to noble men no matter what. Comes from a noble family which was eliminated during the same blood soaked event that destroyed the likes of the Sōya family. Ever since that time Tsuyoi has learnt that she cannot trust anyone besides a few. She often reminded her daughters of such a fact.
Shima Utsunomiya: The only son, an extremely beautiful man behind the mask and is often mistaken for a woman. Loyal to the families whom raised him, often recites his own poetry, very protective of his sisters and would do absolutely anything for them. Spent most of his life amongst the Shihoin household as a ward of Yoruichi's father Yoruhide. A member squad 2, former member of the interrogation corp known for his mental torture interrogation technique and of the onmitsukido. Was also meant to marry Yoruichi but both came to the conclusion to follow their own destinies but still hold a close bond. Mostly exterminates those who have threatened the longevity of his clan from behind the scenes. The power from behind the throne, truly.
Kiriina Utsunomiya: Eldest daughter. Wife of Shinya Shihoin. A gossipy young woman who grew up alongside Yoruichi. She enjoys leisure and living to the fullest.
Shinya Shihoin: A very straight laced man but has a soft spot for his wife and child. Cousin of Yoruichi and Yushiro. Makes up for Yushiro's inexperience, tutors the boy and assists with clan matters he has trouble with.
Granny Kaori: Mother of Hachiryu. Looks after the temple which houses her family's heirloom zanpakuto Saitenno Ō'Chō (King Butterfly Of West-Heaven). She's an old lady who just doesn't give a damn anymore.
Daisatsu Shiba - Dead husband of Kaori and father of Hachiryu. An extremely intelligent man, A former member of the golden noble court assembly. He was known for harsh choice making when making judgement upon unruly nobles, He just did not give a shit about a nobles prestige and family status. Such views would get him assassinated when gossip about Central 46 offered him a position came about.
Toyoko Ashihara: A renown tailor and fashion designer for the nobility. Specializes in women's fashion. He's an elegant man who wears purple tinted glasses and very colorful vintage robes. In personality he is calm and collected and is much of the time in his head. Lastly he created shihakusho style variants for women upon request from noble lady Ayame who sees the fashion as very boring.
Saitenno Ō'Chō (King Butterfly of west heaven): A fickle monarch butterfly winged fairy king who only allows women to wield his power. He wears pure golden shang style robes fit for a king, wields healing magic and has a epicurean taste for the finer things like spirit energies. Millions of years ago he was brought over by the soul king from the fairy-tale spirit land (Became a world later) to protect the founder of the Utsunomiya clan Taiyōhime. As the reigning king of fairy-land's West-Heaven, At first he was very unhappy with what happened to him but quickly changed his mind upon seeing the immaculate Taiyōhime. He promised to always be there for her and her family. He's one of the many who has a physical shape because he wasn't originally summoned by a shinigami through a zanpakuto but instead placed a fraction of his power inside one. He is Utsunomiya's family heirloom and guardian. His basic call phrase is: "Devour." His true call phrase is; "King Butterfly, We are one."
Utsunomiya Taiyōhime: 'The immaculate': The sacred founder of the house. She was born from the grace the soul king and was one of his many daughters. When the noble founders (the Rei'O's own shinigami children.) betrayed him Taiyōhime was the last to offer her opinion and grand vision for the universe. She realized that the visions and actions of her siblings would cause great suffering for everyone in their grand design, including themselves, so she bestowed courage, love, luck, freewill and empathy to the creatures of the worlds. Such made her power hungry siblings very unhappy. She was thrown from the high heavens by the ancestor of Tsunayashiro. Taiyohime looks like a busty woman with rivers of hair and wears Yamato style robes while strutting a sexy pose. Known as a being of wanton chaos, It was often said she enjoyed strip-teasing and dancing in the daylight naked. In Taiyohime's shadow lies her secrets only known to her and a select few. Many of her devouts remain ignorant.
Utsunoki Utsunomiya: Taiyohime's husband. A great warrior and the man whom she respected and loved the most. After her descent from high heaven he looked after her and kept her safe from harm. The noble house was named after and in honor of him.
