I wrote this as an exercise in writing a short story from the point of view of an alien creature. I have always liked the Pierson's Puppeteers from Larry Niven's Known Space series, so here is my take on these creatures.

A short prequel to the Larry Niven book "A Gift From Earth". Boys will be boys, as the saying goes, even on Mount Lookitthat and some activities are a calculated risk. Sometimes you calculate wrong. I don't own the setting, but these four characters are all OCs.

One Shot, This was written by a friend of mine, and is in no way owned by either of us. Now a quick word from the author. "This is a short story summarizing the events after Protector. They are designed to be canonically accurate as possible. Might continue writing about this or the second wave if I can find the time and inspiration."

The Ringworld is gone. The Fringe War had ignited a new Man-Kzin War, the result of which was an alliance between Humans and the Trinocs, and the joint total occupation of all Kzinti territory. Now, a new dark threat appears from the depths of space...

This is a short story taking place in Larry Niven's Known Space universe. I wrote it mainly to introduce it to avid fanfic writers. I hope that Known Space will eventually become its own subcategory as Larry Niven is one of the most famous scifi writers.
