Retelling the series. Hiro, Genji and Kaiya, triplet sibling geniuses who spent their lives Bot Fighting, decide to enroll in SFIT. But after the death of their brother, when Kaiya was taken by a masked man named Yokai, Hiro and Genji from a team of heroes of their brother's friends and his robot, Baymax.

Chapter 5: Big Ideas

Later, as they exited the building, Tadashi and Akela were saying goodbye. "See you later?" Tadashi asked. "You know it. And good luck with those 3." Akela said. After giving each other a goodbye kiss, Akela walked off to his car and drove off. Tadashi revved up his scooter. "We gotta hurry if you 3 wanna catch that bot fight." He said as Hiro, Genji and Kaiya were just staring up at the school. "We have to go here." Hiro said. "He's right. If we don't go here, we're gonna lose our minds." Genji added. "Tadashi, how do we get into this school?" Kaiya asked. Tadashi smiled, knowing he had gotten through to them.

The next day, Tadashi put up a flier for an SFIT Showcase over one of the triplets' Bot Fighting posters. "Every year, the school has a student showcase. You 3 each come up with something that blows Callaghan away, you're in. But it's gotta be great." He explained. Hiro, Genji and Kaiya looked up at the flier. "Trust us. They will be." Hiro said. "They sure will." Genji agreed. "Because we're geniuses." Kaiya added. They cracked their fingers simultaneously, got out their sketchbooks, each sharpened a pencil and prepared to sketch out their ideas.

Later, Genji and Kaiya showed Tadashi sketches of their ideas. "Wow. These are really great, you guys. Now all you gotta do is build them for the showcase." Tadashi said. "We know, bro. We'll start as soon as Hiro shows us his idea." Genji said. "Speaking of which, Hiro, have you thought of anything yet?" Kaiya asked. But all Hiro did was bang his head against his desk. There were crumpled papers all over the desk. "Nothing! No ideas! Useless empty brain!" He exclaimed. "Hiro." Kaiya said with concern. "Seriously? You've actually hit a block?" Genji asked. "Wow. Washed up at 14. So sad." Tadashi said. "Come on, Hiro. There must be something in that big head of yours." Kaiya said. "I got nothing! I'm done! I'm never getting in!" Hiro cried. But then, Tadashi turned Hiro around to face him. "Hey, I'm not giving up on you." He said. Just then, he picked Hiro up by his legs, hung him down his back and started shaking him. Genji and Kaiya laughed at this. "What're you doing?!" Hiro exclaimed. "Shake things up. Use that big brain of yours to think your way out." Tadashi said. "What?" Hiro asked in confusion. "Look for a new angle." Tadashi said. Hiro just sighed as he hung by Tadashi's grip. But then, he noticed Megabot and looked at his bot from a different angle, getting an idea.

Later, the triplets opened up their garage and started working on their ideas. They worked for several days and nights, helping each other, occasionally receiving visits from Tadashi, Aunt Cass, Kash, Tray, Mochi, Akela and the gang. When they were finished, they had about 12 recycling bins filled with Hiro's idea. Genji and Kaiya had theirs in their backpacks. As the triplets and Tadashi looked at the contents inside one of the bins, they shared their 4-way fist bump and mimicked an explosion.

Well? I know it was short, but it was just as good, right? Hiro, Genji and Kaiya decided that they want to go to SFIT. So, Tadashi explains the school's showcase, which the Triplets had to each come up with an idea to blow Callaghan's mind. Genji and Kaiya came up with their ideas, but Hiro hit a roadblock. But thanks to Tadashi helping him look at a new angle, Hiro got an inspiration from Megabot and created his design. But how well will they do during the showcase?
