Today is Valentine's Day on Death Battle City and many of the inhabitants are enjoying the day with their Valentines. There are a lot of surprising couples hanging out at the carnival. Dante and Bayonetta are sharing pizza slices together.

Yang Xiao Long is working out at the gym with Korra.

Tucker is hitting on Adora only to quickly run away once she pulls out the Sword of Protection.

Sanji gets on one knee in front of Esdeath and holds a flower bouquet for her. She smiles and accepts them only to put a collar on him though Sanji doesn't seem to be bothered.

Church and Tex are walking around arguing with each other but it is more flirting then fighting.

Tatsumaki is hovering with her arms crossed while Michelangelo is following her while holding a lot of Valentine bags.

Tracer and Blake Belladonna are reading some books together on the food court with the Brit rubbing cheeks with the Faunus.

Meanwhile Harry Potter is walking back and forth a bench and sometimes glancing at another bench with an occupant eating strawberry shortcake. Harry is mutteringly hyping himself. "Come on Harry. You can do it. You defeated Voldemort, why can't you ask her out?"

"Oh hello Deku." Harry snaps out of his muttering and looks at Sonic sitting on the bench he was walking beside it. Just enjoying a chilly dog.

"Real funny Sonic." Harry is embarrassed but claps back. "Where's your Valentine date?"

Sonic looks at him like he's crazy. "You think I'm going to ask someone out when Amy is here? I don't want her to go full yandere."

"Make's sense. Could you help me get her attention?" Harry begs.

"Dude, look at me. I don't got any love experience. Who would want to date a hedgehog?"

Shadow and Ryuko pass by their bench, eating ice cream and talking.

"Well there's them. Beside, didn't you have a girlfriend at-"

Sonic quickly hushes Harry. "We don't talk about 06! Fine, I'll help."

Sonic dashes away and reappears with a guitar. He motions Harry to go as he starts up a tune. This catches Erza's attention she turns around to see Harry holding a box of chocolates in front of her. Romantic music filling the air

"Erza Scarlet. Will you be my Valentine?"

She takes the box and opens it to reveal strawberry chocolate. Erza drools and takes a bite on one of them. Harry is grabbed and carried away like a briefcase.

"Let us enjoy the day my date!"

Sonic stops playing and puts his guitar away as his friend is carried by his new date. He is about to grab his second chilly dog when a voice has him stopped stiff.

"So you will show your romantic side to help a friend but not me Sonic?!" Amy said with Sonic's back turned away and he definitely doesn't want to turn around. Especially not with the hammer she is tapping on her hand.

"You seriously signed for that dating app?" Pietro ask his sister Wanda, currently checking herself in the mirror so her dress looks good.

"For the fifth time, yes Pietro." Wanda does a twirl and wonders if she should change her red dress to green. Her date will be here any minute and she wants to look her best.

"At least tell me who you paired up with." Pietro begs but the Scarlet Witch only gives him a coy smile.

"And ruin the surprise? I think not."

The Marvel Speedster tries to think of someone and makes wild guesses:

"Robocop?"

"No."

"Genos."

"Just because my ex husband is an android doesn't mean I have a type."

"Spider Man?"

"Absolutely not."

"Ouch. Don't let him hear that response."

"No, I saw him with Batgirl. My name may include scarlet but I'm not that woman."

"Batgirl?" Pietro is a little shock by that pairing but he begins to think about it. "Redhead vigilante... Makes sense. That date must get awkward if they mention Gwen."

"Cute brother." Wanda rolls her eyes.

DING DONG

"That must be him." Wanda goes to the door and blinks once to see Pietro next to her. She opens the door and only sees a giant lizard on the doorstep, holding chocolate.

"Hi my beloved. Favorite chocolate for my favorite witch." He hands Wanda chocolate and she has a massive smile. She turns to her brother and finds him frozen.

"Bowser?" Pietro questions his sister's date.

"We have a lot of things in common."

"Willing to destroy anyone that gets in the way of our happiness." Bowser comments and Wanda agrees with him.

"And a love for children. Speaking of, I wonder if Tommy and Billy would have tails or fire breath." Wanda thinks out loud, causing Bowser to blush and Pietro looking like he is about to have a stroke.

"Please don't make me think of my nephews like that."

Wanda and Bowser wraps their arms together and Wanda gives Pietro a calling card.

"You should try this dating app. Don't wait up." This odd couple leave and Pietro looks at the card. Specifically the address to it's headquarters.

Quicksilver dashes to the address at an instant and finds it with the logo and catchphrase on the building shown with bright lights:

"What a catchphrase." Pietro said sarcastically. He enters the building and walks around. No workers around but he can hear someone talking on the next door.

"Maybe him and her? They could work."

Pietro opens it to reveal Shoto Todoroki next to a pinboard with a lot of people's pictures on it with string connecting two of each.

Aang and Star Butterfly.

Deadpool and Harley Quinn.

Spider Man and Batgirl.

Felicia and Dr Doom.

Even his sister and Bowser.

"You hooked Wanda up with Bowser through a conspiracy board?!"

Shoto notices the Marvel Speedster at the entrance and nonchalantly talks to him after his screaming. "Oh hello Pietro. How's it going?"

"You icy hot moron! What the hell is with this?!" Pietro grabs Shoto by his collar and points at the board.

"First, that's Bakugo's nickname for me. Second, we meet up around new years and wanted to give people a great Valentine's Day so we set this app up. Some of our love interests won't be appearing here for awhile so we figured why not find love with what this city has?"

"Wait we?" Pietro asks that when the door opens to show Jiraiya holding up pictures of Luke Skywalker and Makima. "Hey Shoto. Do you have any ideas for-"

The Toad Hermit stops once he notices Quicksilver holding his partner. Seeing that makes Jiraiya wonder. "Pietro? Oh, are you here so we can find you a match?"

"No! I'm wondering why you would do this and pair up my sister with the Koopa loser."

"Well, we figured why not help people find love? Our love interests may not appear on Death Battle for years and I'm sorry but I want to spread some love this time of year. Not my fault Death Battle is probably going to do Sakura or the snake bastard first before they get to Tsunade."

"I still think Tsunade vs Litchi is going to happen soon."

Jiraiya rolls his eyes at Shoto's theory. "Oh yeah, cause they clearly love Blazblue the last time they did it. They ever do my Slug Princess, it's going to be with Biscuit Krueger."

"Pretty sure Tsunade can turn her into timber with a single punch."

"And Tsunade barely has anything with Litchi besides big boob medics. That is my favorite but-"

"Guys!" Spongebob appearing out of nowhere frightens Pietro and he lets go of Shoto. "Remember one of Death Battle City's rules."

Everyone says it together, "We don't do matchup debates on holidays."

"So you are in this too Sponge?" Pietro asks and the toon force nods.

"Love is beautiful. So let's create it together!" Spongebob holds his hand out and Pietro is almost blinded by his smile. Just as he is about to shake it, Quicksilver notices a computer on a desk next to the conspiracy board and curious about something.

"Who did you pair with me?"

Everyone looks guilty and before they can answer, Pietro appeared on the laptop and typed his name. Seeing her has Pietro look at the Luvbatant owners.

"...Screw you guys. I'm not dating the ballerina from hell."
