Clyde was outside of his best friend's apartment. He always thought they were going to be roommates. But he had gotten a scholarship to baking school in France. And Lincoln was in School in NYC along with his sister Lucy. Clyde was on layover after a quick trip to go see his dads. there was a large storm in the Atlantic so all flights going to Europe are grounded. So this visit was going to be a bit of a surprise for Lincoln. He knocked on the door.
"Lucy stop I need to get our food one second." Said Lincoln opening the door.
"Oh Clyde what are you doing here?" Said Lincoln looks very flustered for some reason. He had black lipstick on it almost looks like someone was kissing him.
"Looks like Lucy is pranking you. She put lipstick on you when you ware sleeping." Said Clyde
"oh um Luan must have put her up to it. Lucy it's Clyde" Lincoln said the last part forcefully. rubbing off the lipstick. He knows how it actually got there. Lucy and him had been making out.
"So how have you been?" Said Lincoln
" i've been good but there is a big storm over the Atlantic and all the flights are grounded. Is it possible I could stay with you." Said Clyde
"Oh um ya but lets go get something to eat." Said Lincoln
" just let me drop off my luggage." Said Clyde, Lincoln grabbed the luggage and slid it behind the door.
" we can deal with that later." Said Lincoln
" does Lucy want to come with us?" Said Clyde
" I wanna go to a restaurant she doesn't like. and I've been dying to try." Said Lincoln
They made their way to a very garlicky Italian restaurant. Meanwhile Lucy was hiding things. Condoms, lube, pictures of the two Not looking like a brother and sister and ropes. After a while they return. She didn't like having to hide the relationship again. But they agreed to come out to their family when they have their first child. And they agreed to have their first child when they both graduate college. She was working on coroner School and Lincoln was working on an art degree. She was going to be the breadwinner. And after there Second child Lincoln was going to take on less work. After a while Clyde and Lincoln came back.
"Hello Lucy long time no see." Said Clyde
"Hello Clyde" Said Lucy
"Oh I need to speak with Lucy about The rent. But you can get settled in my room." Said Lincoln
Clyde went to go unpack his things in Lincoln's room.
"Ok Lucy I need to tell you, I made up a girlfriend. it is basically you but a New York native. I did this because I wanted to brag about how great our relationship is to Clyde. I didn't expect he would come to see us they have him an incredibly busy. I was going to come clean to him when we have the kid, but please just play along." Said Lincoln
"Should I be jealous of this goth girl New Yorker?" Said Lucy
"Lucy she is you." Said Lincoln
" i'm kidding now what is her alias." Said Lucy
"Lupa." Said Lincoln
" that was going to be our daughters name." Said Lucy
" it still can. I just needed a name I could remember. and when you came up with that perfect name I couldn't forget it." Said Lincoln
Lucy blushed and said "ok do I like this girlfriend?"
"Yes you are very good friends you introduced me." Said Lincoln
They heard the door open.
"Yay I know it's rent controlled it's just utilities have gone up" covered Lincoln
"I can provide a little more funding." Said Lucy
"Hey Lincoln i've been meaning to ask you what is up with that necklace." Said Clyde
Lincoln froze it was a piece of Lucy's bust of Edwin. Back when things started to get really serious between them Lucy got him destroy it. She said it was getting rid of his biggest rival. Then she made a piece of it into a necklace for him. She told him it was a spoil of his conquest over her.
"It is something my girlfriend gave me." Said Lincoln quickly
"oh yes Lupa so when are you going to introduce your Best friend to your girlfriend." Said Clyde
"Oh she is out of town right now. with her parents" Said Lincoln
" isn't she from here?" Said Clyde
"they moved out of town" Said Lucy
" I heard you are friends with her Lucy." Said Clyde
"…yes" Said Lucy
Something was odd with Lucy and Lincoln. Lincoln's room did not look like it had been slept in for a very long time. The sheets were covered with dust. The only thing in the entire room that look like it was used was the desk and the closet.
"What a shame" Said Clyde he needed a place to stay and he was worried he was not going to like the answer if he investigated any further. They had a pleasant night catching up. Clyde showed off some of his new recipes. After they got ready for bed.
" sorry about sending you to the couch." Said Clyde He noticed Lucy's looking worried.
" it's fine I'm just going to bunk with Lucy." Said Lincoln and as soon as he said that Lucy lost that worried.
"She was a good sister that couch is not that comfortable." Said Clyde everyone made their way to bed.
Lucy lifts her bangs and looks into Lincoln's eyes.
"What is it luce?" Said Lincoln
" I am just staring at my love. I still can't believe it." Said Lucy
" why can't you believe it?" ask Lincoln
"I got you. We managed to keep it secret. And Best of all since we moved in together we still haven't slept apart." Said Lucy
"oh ya that's True." Said Lincoln
They share a kiss and drift off into dreamland.
