The following here is an archive of previous Q and As we've answered since Book 2. The Questions and Answers you see are archived from both Book 2 of Luz Clawthorne and the Helluva Dad spin-off. The archives will be posted as it's own, along with the new Q and As. So here are the previous Q and As from Book 2, and Helluva Dad.
LC Q&A 1
Alright, here's something you've all been waiting for…
A Q & A Update!
Since the end of the Glandus War Arc, me and Buck felt it be appropriate to once we prepare for the next chapter, we can do a little Q & A where you can asks questions and we answer them.
From Matteso585
1) I'm surprised that Emily got exposed as an illusionist and a hypnotist. Considering that Gus, Luz, and Amity didn't have any evidence, how did that happen (unless I missed something)?
Honestly, this question is it's own answer. Emily is literally in the custody of the Emperor's Coven and is under investigation. It really wasn't going to be long before she was exposed. After all, the Emperor's Coven has ways to know that Emily Tricks is an Illusionist and Hypnotist, considering their methods and, well, Emperor Belos knows all. For one thing, the Illusion Coven exists so hypnotism isn't anything new to them. Besides, without Stella helping Emily out with her illusions, Emily would've remain a nobody.
2) In "What is it Good For", why didn't any of the Hexsidians (Gus as an exception) question why the Emperor's Coven got involved? They probably know that the aforementioned coven weren't allowed to get involved in a school war.
Willow and Jerbo did questioned their appearance. And were told heads up later on.
3) Is The Baron (or at least the body he's using) considered part-Fae? He made a deal with The Coachman, and Dr. Facilier has (or had) a living shadow.
The Baron is a Loa, as he's using Facilier's body as a vessel. It's more like he's a walking corpse than a part-Fae. The living shadow is something Dr. Facilier gained from his deal with the Baron.
Your review questions will be answered in the next chapter.

1). Will there be an update on events currently happening with the characters of Amphibia? I asked because I want to see what Anne, Sasha, and Marcy and their found families have been up to since we last saw them.
Eventually.
2). Will we get to see what Director Gates has been doing? I like to see how close she is to traveling to the Demon Realm and how she plans to accomplish her goals. I can't wait to see the next chapter, see you soon.
Eventually.
The Great Fossil King
Wonder how Luz react once she sees young Belos in Elsewhere and Elsewhen and her in Hollow Minds? After all, Belos isn't evil.
No, he's still evil. Like, the dude tried to execute Luz's family, also put countless of innocent witches to death, and he murdered Puck. Why do you Belo's Youths insist that he isn't evil?
From GreatFossilKing
So, how will Boscha and Hunter friendship be like now he shown his identity?
You'll see.
JRWritingInk, which I'll let Buck answer these:
1.) First, I'm super impressed at how you've incorporated a huge chunk of Disney IPs, along with myths and legends, into Luz Clawthorne to create a massive, shared universe. Was that always the plan or did you improvise?
BuckJohnson: Well, Luz Clawthorne didn't start out as taking place in a shared universe. It was planned pretty early on to include elements from myths and legends, but the incorporation of Disney IPs started with the idea to have the fic crossover with the similar Reunion Falls AU and that opened the door to include other IPs (plus non-Disney IPs as well). And as the fic continued, we continued to expand the universe, mainly because it was fun and this fic gave us the chance to do a bunch of crazy and cool stuff that we couldn't do elsewhere. We also try to give the readers what they want.
2.) How and when was the Order founded, exactly? What made all these gods, heroes, and magical beings decide to cooperate to protect existence as a whole?
BuckJohnson: The Order was founded in the 20th century by the trio of Genie, Merlin, and Yen Sid, with Yen Sid as the one who suggested the collaboration. It was their influence that brought all the other members together in order to keep peace and order between the realms and dimensions.
3.) Will we learn how Belos and his brother came to the Demon Realm in this timeline? What happened that made it so that Belos wasn't a racist against Witches?
BuckJohnson: Yes, eventually. And Belos was raised in the Demon Realm in this version, so growing up in a different environment meant that he didn't develop the same prejudices as his canon counterpart.
4.) You've done a good job of making Emperor Belos a more nuanced character rather than a raving lunatic. Would you still say he's truly evil here, or morally gray since he's working with the knowledge of a catastrophe soon to come.
BuckJohnson: I would still say that Belos is evil here. He murdered Puck, tried to petrify Luz's family, is responsible for the deaths of countless innocent witches, and isn't above lying to and manipulating Hunter. He may actually care about Hunter and he may think that he's saving the Boiling Isles, but his actions definitely still make him evil.
5.) How did the Gates family come to power in this timeline? Why do they hate magic and Witches so much?
BuckJohnson: The Gates family came into power because of their ancestor, G.B. Gates, who had personal experience with witches and was able to gain a lot of influence in Gravesfield. His life's work was continued by his descendants, who made it their mission to save humanity from the evils of magic, witches, and demons, which they see as inherently dangerous. G.B. Gates is a lot like canon Philip, though ironically we came up with Gates before we learned what canon Philip was really like. You'll learn a lot more about the Gates family in the second half of Book Two.
6.) By now, we know that Mewni still exists, albeit trapped in a crumbling nightmare realm. Did Star and Marco ever meet in this timeline, become besties, and eventually lovers? For that matter, are they still alive somewhere or trapped in the Nightosphere with what's left of Mewni?
By the way, I knew that Tom and Boscha might become an item!
BuckJohnson: Star and Marco are still alive and we'll see them in the second half of Book Two. That's all I can say for now.
7.) How do you guys keep track of all your OC characters? No, really. I can barely remember who's who anymore!
BuckJohnson: Good memory.
8.) It sounds like Witch Morty lived through a lot of similar experiences to Morty Prime. What sets him and Witch Rick apart from Rick C-137 and Morty Prime as far as experiences go?
BuckJohnson: Well, for one thing Witch Morty didn't have to move to a different reality after his Rick cronenberged their original reality. Witch Rick even mentioned hearing about how a version of himself made his Morty a love potion and how it didn't go well. I think what also sets apart this version of Rick and Morty from others is that they are witches, which causes some conflict between Witch Rick and other Ricks who look down on magic. Because of that, Witch Rick doesn't really have much fondness for other Ricks of the multiverse and tries to distance himself from them, which includes treating his Morty better than most.
9.) Is Amity going to become Puck's successor? Because at this point, it feels like Amity will carry on Puck's legacy the most.
BuckJohnson: Successor might not be the right word, though Puck isn't actually the only 'Puck' in the Fae community. Pucks are actually a kind of fairy in English folklore and 'Puck Goodfellow' isn't even LC Puck's True Name, since he forgot his True Name a long time ago and adopted the name Puck Goodfellow as an alias. I will also take this as an opportunity to better explain Amity's deal with Puck. He said that he would make sure Amity would be able to rescue and protect Luz. When they made their deal, Amity didn't realize that him making sure that Amity would be able to protect Luz meant that she would receive some of his power in order to do so, which makes her part-Fae. Puck didn't even realize this when making the deal either, which is why you shouldn't make deals with Fae, since even the Fae don't know the full ramifications of the deals they're making. Amity becoming part-Fae was an accident.
10.) Is whatever that destroyed Neverland the same thing that destroyed Mewni?
BuckJohnson: The events are connected, yes.
11.) Will we ever learn the origins of the Inner Demon? Also, no cap, I think it would've been cooler to call him Pennywise.
BuckJohnson: The Halloween special revealed that the Inner Demon was once a human who came to the Boiling Isles and murdered a bunch of witchlings in order to obtain immortality. This is canon and will be elaborated more on later in Book Two, including his connection to the antlered being that has started to pop up.
12.) It's pretty obvious the Baron gave Nicole power in exchange for something important? Is that eventually going to kill her? Not that I care, because she's a horrible person. But it would still upset her family.
BuckJohnson: Think about how the Baron's deal with the Coachman went. The Coachman had been set up to fail, his actions ultimately leading to his downfall after which the Baron claimed his soul. Also, as the song goes "you got what you wanted, but you lost what you had". Nicole is her own worst enemy and by giving her more power, the Baron is accelerating her downfall while calling dibs on her soul. Nicole's new power has already given her more misery, since her focusing on killing Eda led to her being thrown out by Athena and then losing her company in a hostile takeover. And the Baron isn't to blame, since as he told Nicole "blame your choices and your pride". Nicole's powers are just bringing more of her darkness to the surface and that will only further drive away the people that she cares about. Nicole is causing her own undoing and the Baron is simply taking advantage of it.
13.) Have you guys thought of writing a timeline for this whole series? Because it would be cool to see everything written out for those not familiar with some of these shows.
BuckJohnson: Eh, not really. It is probably way soon for a timeline, but maybe in the future. Like the start of Book Three could include a recap or something.
14.) Will we see Titania someday? I always saw her as the more reasonable of the two in Midsummer Night's Dream.
BuckJohnson: Eventually, yes. And the events of A Midsummer Night's Dream are what actually led to Oberon and Titania separating…
15.) Have you guys considered making a career out of writing? Because your Luz Clawthorne story is really good!
BuckJohnson: I actually want to make a career out of writing and Luz Clawthorne has probably been the largest project that I have been a part of.
16.) Can you guys get more fanart of the characters done? Especially the OC's?
BuckJohnson: Hopefully.
Well, guess that's all we could answer. Tune in next chapter, cause it's going to be something different...
