Prologue
It seemed like a regular night for Twilight Sparkle as she slept in her apartment in Domino City. She was dreaming, of ancient Egypt. She wondered what it was like back when Yami was the pharaoh. She saw that it was beautiful, practically gleaming white and gold and brown. The pyramids stood so high they could almost touch the clouds. She walked towards the banks of the Nile river and smiled at the flowers floating in the water.
But then, her dream began to change. She saw the water change to green, as if something was shining down. The princess looked up and saw what looked like a magic seal high in the sky, and within that seal, were the three Egyptian God Monsters, Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra.
'The three Egyptian God Monsters? What's going on? Why are they trapped in that seal?' she wondered. The sky above began to darken as a giant creature was seen through the clouds staring down at her. 'The Great Beast shall rise, and the world of man shall fall.' said a dark voice coming from the creature before it lunged toward Twilight.
At that moment, she woke up with a start. "What was that?" she wondered as she felt her heart pounding. "Was that a vision of the future?" she pondered before looking out at the city outside her window. "Whatever it was, be it a vision, dream or nightmare, if it involves the Egyptian God Monsters, it must involve Yugi and Yami. And that can only mean one thing..." she figured.
But in her heart, she knew that the world was once again in danger, and the King of Games had to step in to save mankind.
