Well this was something I wanted to do for a while.
DBZ x RWBY stories are hard to land. Mainly cause even somone of Raditz's calibre can wipe out RWBY.
So what do you do? You make an OC.
I've read a couple fanfictions that do this right, if you haven't already check them out!
Limit Breaker by Anonytmaton
The Boy With the Monkey Tail by Vinglot the Sky Ship
RWBY: Limitless by Chinsangan
These three have made an OC Saiyan and that Saiyan goes to Remnant and have done it right. I hope I myself can as well. Please check them out there great.
And if any of the creators of these stories read this, please, give me tips in the reviews, every bit helps.
Cover Art done by me and yes that is what my OC looks like.

Now on to the story.
Escaping Mediocrity
Planet Vegeta, homeworld of the Saiyans. A warrior race feared throughout the galaxy.
After the war with the Tuffles, the Saiyans eventually gained attention from the Planet Trade Organization otherwise known as the Frieza Force. With new technology to travel in space, they invaded planets in Frieza's name and even went as far as to send their newly born infants to exterminate the planets of their inhabitants.
Even their weakest of warriors were conquerors of worlds.
However, not every Saiyan was meant for this life, there were few that were deemed too weak to lead the lives of warriors and were kept on the planet since birth.
Such is the case with a child named Kron.
This story begins at a bar filled with Saiyan soldiers. Some were drinking, some were bragging about their latest exploits and others were watching two saiyans wearing fur clothes trying to entertain them for credits. The duo had spiky hair almost pointed in two directions. A young boy was creating effects with his Ki as the man was telling a story with grandeur.
The man's name was Neab and he waved his arms as he told his tale.
"And so with this power Yamoshi, was the meaning of Saiyan might, he single handedly bested armies and for a time he tamed the entire saiyan race itself." The boy used his ki to create what looked like a Saiyan with his tail out, powering up.
"However, as Yamoshi showed mercy, the power rejected him for his weakness." The boy then made the Saiyan figure kneel and the body looked scrawny.
"And so his life was vanquished!" The child made the Ki puppet into mini fireworks next to the man.
"And that is the story of The Fall of Yamoshi, the saiyan that touched godhood and was proven unworthy to possess such might, and his death started the code that all saiyans must have hearts filled with hate against our enemies, not mercy!" Neab waved his hands celebratorily, the boy then created more mini fireworks with his ki.
A couple saiyans tossed some credits his way, others put food and drinks at the table in front of them as payment for their entertainment.
Kron, the Saiyan child, sighed as he sweated from his Ki usage and gathered today's earnings.
"Thank you all!" Neab shouted bowing like a showman. "I will have more stories next time to brighten up your days before your next assignments."
The boy growled hearing this as he stuffed the food and money in a bag. "Can we go now?"
Neab bowed elegantly one last time and kept his smile despite his son's uncooperative nature. "Yes, yes my boy."
The duo left the bar and started flying off. The child seemed to struggle more with this, barely keeping up with his father.
"Kron, don't drop the bag." He said sternly.
"I know father." Kron groaned as he fought to stay in the air, he couldn't quite fly like other children his age, and then there were the lousy parlor tricks he had to perform.
The father and son made it to a stone house. Luckily it wasn't too far for Kron to fly to and from the city.
"Looks like your mother isn't home yet, you fetch that beast we hunted and I'll take care of sorting today's money."
"Yeah dad." Kron replied as he handed him the money and food.
"There better not be a single credit out of place boy, I counted this time."
Kron growled inwardly, he knew better, last time he was caught he was almost beaten to death. "They are all there father" He then left and fetched the large dead animal in the storage, he roasted it over a fire and he set it in the kitchen. He'd love to eat it now but knows better than to start without his mother present.
He decided to go to his room until it was time to eat. He lay down on his bed and breathed in and out due to his exhaustion. Kron felt less tired than usual probably because he got a bit stronger, flying was not so easy for him yet as his power level was simply too low to do it for long distances especially after using what little Ki he could use to make those lousy special effects. His tail was slumped on the bed showing his exhaustion.
As he caught his breath, he pulled out a bunch of papers with writing scribbles on them. It was filled with historical moments that dated back to the war with the Tuffles, some even described Planet Sadala, the original Homeworld.
Just to name a few, there was Vegeta the First who united all Saiyans against the Tuffles and Vegeta the Third who ended it, Yamoshi the saiyan that touched godhood and was rejected by his own power for showing mercy and finally Cumber, the first recorded Legendary Super Saiyan that destroyed Planet Sadala and forced the saiyans to evacuate the planet and make their way to Planet Plant thanks to a handful of saiyans that had the brain to make up for their lack of brawn.
He would read these stories every day, he did find some enjoyment in learning of the past that made his people what they are today. However, they seem to always remind him of things he never had, like actual power or at least something that made them memorable. Heck, even a Saiyan by the name of Squaz was herald for his mind not his strength, he created the spaceships that got his people to this planet as the Legendary Super Saiyan rampaged on Sadala.
Saiyans in these texts made names for themselves and had the chance to achieve greatness. While he was robbed of such an opprotunity, he was told he was born with such a pathetic power level that being sent off world would be suicide. And now he's trapped on this planet, unable to pick fights with other saiyan children because it would end with his death.
This day was like any other day, going with father juggling Ki blasts, or using his Ki to add special effects to his stories, flying home whether his mother was home or not, cook dinner and study the ancient texts. The only time he had fun was when he and his father had to go hunting wild beasts for dinner.
And what's worse is that later on in life, he will have to do what his father does, sing songs and tell stories from ages long past just to get by.
An existence not meant for any true Saiyan worth their salt.
'Tonight's going to be different.' The child thought as he smirked, the child had made plans months ago and was going to perform them tonight.
That is if his mother won't agree with his request.
Later, when Kron's mother had come home, he and his father ate with her at the dinner table.
"And so Elery, we have earned quite a bit while you were away, the wine was given by a generous mid-class warrior." His father explained.
"It's about time you earned something good." She scoffed and glared over to Kron. "And you better not have taken any of the money brat."
"I haven't," Kron stated as he devoured his share of the food.
His mother only eyed him and went back to eating.
When Kron finished eating, he put his hands together and gulped. "Hey mom"
"What?"
"I was wondering, could you take me on your next mission?" He had hoped she would agree.
His father sighed hoping he wouldn't ask that again.
The mother didn't respond, she merely put her hand in his face and flicked her finger.
Kron fell off his chair and grabbed his head in pain. A huge bump was on his forehead from the flick, he put his hands on it and rolled in pain. "What was that for?!"
"I merely answered your question." Elery looked at her weak son rubbing his head and actually crying. The mother really didn't want to have to deal with this again, tomorrow she had another mission and wanted to relax. She took a bottle and drank from it. "Convince him this time, Neab." She walked away with the bottle.
"Yes dear." Neab sighed, the child hasn't asked that for months, he was hoping he learned his lesson. "Kron, we've already discussed this."
Kron got up still holding the bump on his head. "But I'm a lot stronger now! And I'm only five years old. Give me time, I can fight, just give me a chance!" He tried not to make it sound like he was begging.
"Boy ,you barely have enough power to fly, most children your age have gone past power levels of 200 while you have yet to reach 100." Neab explained. "And they are like us, born too weak to conquer and so we must live here on Planet Vegeta if we want to have a place among our brethren."
"What would you know? At least I train, all you've done is sing and tell stories! "The child yelled angrily.
Neab sighed, he liked his son well enough but the brat could be so annoying. "It is because I know my place as you should!"
"AAAAHHH!" Kron charged at his father and threw a punch.
Neab raised a hand and swiftly grabbed the boy's tail with no effort and the child was paralyzed with his tail in his father's grip, Neab then went on to throw the child, his face hitting the wall. Kron was holding his face and rolling in pain from that.
"Have you had your fill yet? Remember like you I was born with one of the weakest power levels among our people, and the strength I have now would be a liability among the Frieza Force." He explained as his son tried to stand up. "And you were born with an even weaker power level, one of the weakest in Saiyan history in fact."
Kron got up holding his jaw in pain, he knew that his father was right, and he blamed him for being as weak as he is now. Why did his mother settle for this stupid bard and not another low-class warrior? Surely, he would have been born with more power and would've been sent to conquer a world for Lord Frieza right?
"Remember boy, your mother has a terrible temper, and we cannot afford a healing tank." Thanks to Lord Frieza's taxes. "If you push your mother again, she may deal with you herself and you would not live to receive a zenkai."
Kron wanted to cry again hearing this, he knew he couldn't convince his mother this time. But he had to try at least one time, because his plan B had more than a few risks. "Yes father."
Neab sighed, hoping this was over and even tried to get his son to look at the bright side. "It's not such a bad way to live son, as a bard you can make plenty of money and maybe get lucky enough to attract a partner, just look at me and your mother."
Kron cringed at that, he hated the sound of that, entertaining and doing whatever a woman says wasn't exactly appealing to him.
"Now off to bed, I think tomorrow I'll tell the story of Galick, father of Vegeta the First."
The boy just nodded and left for his room.
'When I come back I'll show you both, I'll be a hundred times the saiyan you two ever were.'
Later that night when his parents were asleep, Kron was awake, he opened the window and was ready to leap out. But he stopped and looked down at the texts. The papers he read everyday since he learned how to read. With hesitation he grabs the texts and puts them in a small travel bag. For some reason he couldn't bring himself to leave them behind, and who knows maybe they'll have some strategies he could use for this task.
Kron then jumped out the window, he flew to the forest near the house and landed in a clearing. He dug in the ground and pulled out many items.
A green scouter, a manual of the Attack pods, a green armor set with red straps instead of the usual pauldrons, matching arm guards and boots. He changed out of his fur shirt and shoes and put on the armor. He put the scouter on his face and wished there was a mirror to admire how much of a warrior he looked. He still had the fur pants that he usually wore, he couldn't afford a jumpsuit and didn't want to risk stealing more credits from his father's earnings. He decided to start the path of a true Saiyan now or he may have to wait for months for his mother to come back with her pod.
The young boy took out a piece of paper, it had coordinates to a planet called Earth. A planet with low power levels and it hasn't been targeted yet. What's even better is that the full moon show's itself once a month! It's a perfect place for him to start, he'll get stronger by conquering the planet and earn his place in the Frieza Force!
With his mother here sleeping, her pod will still be at the launch bay. It was always in the same place. He would often go there in his free time to get a lay of the place, once he found a ventilation to sneak through and into the pod's launch room. He had memorized the time the guards would be on patrol, where the guards would be and how to avoid them when he attempts to steal the pod.
Kron looked in the direction for the launch bay and began to fly but he stopped.
The child thought of everything that could go wrong, what if the guard's catch him? What if he doesn't remember what button does what in the pod? What if he keys in the wrong coordinates to a stronger, more dangerous planet? What if by the time he flies to the base he'll be too exhausted to move?
So many things that could go wrong, maybe he should just stay and train, so he can attempt this when he's older. But by then, he probably would never have time to train for long, his parents always have something for him to do. Chores around the house or helping his father entertain patrons.
Really there were only two choices. Either act now and have a small chance to return home a warrior or stay and be trapped in this life of mediocrity.
The thought of living like his father only hardened his resolve, he will live and fight like a true saiyan!
He smiled because now he was determined and now he would start his new life.
Elery entered the launch pads and was ready to begin her next assignment. She walked to a counter. "I'm ready, is my pod refueled yet?"
"Elery I was just about to call your scouter." The man brought up a list, this made the woman raise an eyebrow. "I'm sorry to tell you this but your pod's gone missing."
Her eyes widened. "What? How?" She demanded annoyed that this happened, she was looking forward to this mission.
"Well we checked the cameras and a child managed to steal the pod."
What child could have…. no. He couldn't have. "Show me the footage."
"Right" He turned on a computer screen behind him, it showed a child sneaking into the pod's room.
It was definitely Kron in armor and a green scouter. 'Did he buy all that with the credits he stole from Neab's earnings?' The boy then managed to open the pod and got it to work. It was launched out of the room crashing through the closed ceiling and two guards ran to it.
Elery growled and squeezed her fists in frustration. "That little shit." The man chuckled nervously. But then she glared at him making him shut up. "Get me a new pod, I'll get this mission done." She'll think about what to do with Kron later, her mission takes priority.
"Well no need for that, Lord Frieza gave us the order to remain here."
She raised an eyebrow, that's strange, she had this mission scheduled for months in advance and now she has to cancel. "Why is that?"
"Don't know, he's probably planning to have us attack a stronger planet together." He explained with a smile on his face, a usual Saiyan loving the idea of a war with a race that required all of them to fight together. "We'll have a new pod ready for you by then."
"Hmph" She looked at the footage of the room that held her missing pod. When she gets her hands on that little brat she'll make him regret even thinking this. Not to mention that useless husband of hers.
"And if it makes you feel any better that little brat won't make it to wherever he's going."
Elery turned to the man, almost startled. "What?"
The man looked at the list he had and lifted it. "Yeah, your pod was in the process of being refueled. When he stole it , it wasn't even half filled yet." He explained. "That little brat's probably gonna starve or lose oxygen somewhere in space."
She turned to look at the screen of the room for a few seconds. Her son may have made a terrible mistake.
The man raised an eyebrow seeing this soldier look unsure for some reason. "Elery did you know the brat?"
"…..No" Elery walked away. 'I'll have to explain to Neab that his little helper's gone now.' She looked up at the red sky of Planet Vegeta.
'Kron whatever happens, this was your choice I hope you know that.'
Little did she know Kron's chances of survival were higher than all of Planet Vegeta.
Kron was asleep in the stolen pod, it flew through space, it's alarm woke him up. "Reaching destination."
The saiyan got startled as he looked all around him. Where was he and how did he- He paused, remembering the events from today or, a couple days ago. He looked through the red glass of his pod and sees a blue orb with many green and white blotches on it.
So his plan worked? He managed to steal the pod without anyone knowing? His mother or the guards couldn't stop him. He smiled and laughed. "Yes it worked! I'm a genius!" He kept laughing as the pod met the atmosphere and heats up like a meteor.
The pod arrives in a wide mountain range and crashes deep inside a forest forming a wide deep crater.
The pod opens revealing Kron, the child stood in his green and red armor with fur pants. He had wrapped his swaying tail around his waist to look like a furry belt now that he was officially in enemy territory.
A computerized voice spoke from the pod. "Planet Earth reached, welcome to your destination."
"Earth huh?" The youth spoke and started floating from the crater. He looked around to see the green covered planet. "Doesn't look bad, I'm sure Lord Freiza himself would let me join as soon as I clear it!" The boy laughed, he had truly done it! Now he could truly begin his path as a saiyan warrior.
He decided to start with a feel of this place he jumped from the crater and to his surprise the jump was high real high, almost a mile. "W-what?" He fell and landed on one foot but stumbled and fell on his back. "W-what was that?" Kron asked himself as he got up pushing himself very lightly off the ground. He looked and lifted his arms. He felt faster, less heavy, he smiled. The gravity here was low, very low.
Kron threw rapid punches faster than most athletes could see, he then performed many jumps laughing giddily. He only knew that the gravity was less than Planet Vegeta but not by this much. He stopped after throwing one last punch. "Hahahaha! I feel so light! This is amazing." He then thought of the one thing that he always had a problem with back home. "I wonder how far I can fly!" He laughed loudly at this. The planet was going to be so much easier now, but mid laugh, his scouter beeped.
He looked at the glass, four different power levels, each low, much lower than his own level. He turned to see where it was coming from.
There were four large creatures with long arms and shorter legs. He smirked, these creatures were leagues below the beasts on Planet Vegeta. "Are you the dominant life or just an animal on this rock?"
The beast at the head of the pack lunged forward with it's arms raised.
The boy sees the creature charge slowly at him and simply punched it's throat and sent it flying over the other three. "Animal it is." The boy said and charged at the other three. He threw a punch against the beast on the right and kicked for the one on the left.
Both creatures didn't really have any normal wounds, their 'masks' were cracked though.
The boy looked stunned, they were nothing compared to the animals on his planet and he grinned at this. "Wow, this planet really is weak. Even I can clear this planet if this is the best it can do. I'll have it empty in under a year!" Kron laughed
The creature that he struck first charged again only to have its head hammered into the ground, the two other beasts charged him side by side, Kron quickly put his hands by his sides and blasted blue energy from his hands at both of them.
He looked down at the creature that he kicked down trying to get up, the boy stomped his boot over it's head smashing it into nothing. He looked at his work, the four creatures were dead. This was a new feeling, he never actually won a fight before on Planet Vegeta, when he hunted beasts, it was with the help of his father and here he is on top of the food chain and he didn't need any help. "Yeah!" He laughed loudly, he already had his first victory.
Kron sees the corpses of his prey start to vanish. He looked disappointed. "Ah man, I was hoping to taste them." He whined and shook his head. "Oh well, at least I got an idea on how strong this planet is." He sighed as he pondered what to do next. He activated his scouter to see the power levels around him, all of them were pretty low, however they were large in number. Some were actually higher than his own so attacking the whole planet right now would be suicide, he'll need to bide his time and get stronger before beginning his assault.
"I guess under a year is too soon, it's fine, it's my first so I can wait a few years." A smile formed on his face, he could still rampage for a while if these canines were all the planet had. He floated off the ground and looked around the area in search of a power he can manage against. He finds a couple that are around the same levels of the creatures he just killed. He flew in that direction enjoying the feeling of being free from gravity, a feeling he never had on Planet Vegeta.
He crashed in front of a bigger pack of them, eight of them in fact, he looked at the creatures and they roared at him. Kron ran to them. He punched one beast up it's jaw and he kicked another in the gut, punched another in the face and hit every one of them until they were down and out. He chuckled as he was having the time of his life, he breathed heavily though as he was getting tired. He was tackled to the ground by the wolf-like creature and was slashed on his arm. "Ah!" He looked at his arm in shock, he felt pain and was bleeding. He glared at the creature and kicked it's face.
Kron roared as he filled his hands with blue energy. "Die!" He fired multiple Ki shots that made the tree behind it tumble to the ground. The beast was dead and Kron knelt down. He took out a dozen of them and he was starting to feel exhausted. That's good, back home he could barely kill one beast, so it's already easier here. He looked down at his arm and growled. What a disgrace, to be harmed by a beast in such light gravity. He has to remember that these creatures may not be as strong on his world, but they can still harm and end him if he's not careful.
He decides to fly back to his pod, though this time he barely hovered, he wasted so much power on his little temper tantrum. The boy landed by the pod and knelt down and looked at the scratch caused by the beast. It wasn't bleeding too bad, it'll heal but still it reminded him of his carelessness. Some of the most powerful saiyans in history died because they let their guard down. The boy decided to call it a day already, the sun was beginning to set and he wanted to try something.
Kron had gathered many sticks and fired a small ki blast to start a campfire. He had sat there and looked at the sky.
Kron waited at night to test something, he looked above and was shocked at what he saw.
It was the moon, and it was in pieces.
"What?!" Kron went to his pod and pulled out the paper. "These are the coordinates, and the moon is supposed to be in one piece!" He looked up at the shattered moon and looked at his ship. "Computer what planet is this?!"
"Planet, Earth"
"Computer are you sure?!" The child yelled, fighting not to just destroy it.
A few beeping noises were heard. " Identical Solar Solar System, 80% chance this is Earth, data mismatch."
Kron glared. That must mean the information is outdated or something.
He looked up at what was supposed to be the source of his power. The mighty Great Ape, the Oozaru, was supposed to be his trump card, and he was going to use it to destroy a city! But now, he couldn't use it.
"Damn it!" He punched the ground frustrated, but he sighed. Perhaps the inhabitants had something to do with the moon recently. It doesn't matter, saiyans grow stronger every time they fight. He'll just increase his power and in time, he'll be the top dog on this mudball later.
"I was really counting on the moon." His power level would have been a low class warrior but still that alone would be enough to demolish this rock. What he wouldn't give to learn the Artificial Moon technique.
He went into his pod and pulled out his bag that he took from home. He pulled out the text's he brought from home.
The Saiyan moved the papers around until he stumbles on to one. The Artificial Moon technique, first developed by a Saiyan elite on one of the first ever off world planets. The theory was written to create a powerful energy ball, toss it in the air, expand it by mixing with the air to create an artificial moon that could mimic Blutz Waves. The creator of this genius move was unknown as Saiyans unfortunately do not record everything. Whoever this Saiyan was, had to have been a brilliant scientist.
He sighed when he read the main requirement. You need a power level of at least 8,000, to even attempt such a technique.
Times like this made him hate his father even more. Sure his mother's weak too but at least she was a warrior, it's his genes that made him more so!
"Oh well." Kron put the paper back in his bag and pulled out another sheet. This one had a list of some of the greatest achievements done by the Saiyans since their partnership with Lord Frieza.
"I guess it was a good thing I brought these with me after all." Kron smiled, these notes describe how Saiyan warriors took entire planets, and how they handle themselves when dealing with higher power levels. And according to this list they just go into other fights with inhabitants of their level or lower and level up through fighting, after all Saiyans do grow stronger every time they fight.
"I can just fight and train here until I'm ready to take on the rest of the world." Kron then lay down next to the fire, looked at the moon and smiled. "Guess I won't have to worry about dad's stories at the bar tomorrow." He fell asleep that night and looked forward to not having to subjugate his father's ridiculousness anymore.
And thus was Kron's first day on Earth, or as it's people call it, Remnant.
Beta: Fanfiction0000
And it ends there. Now I just want to say yes Kron brought a scouter but do not expect me to list power levels I find them tedious and also it won't be helpful when reading a huntsman's strength. Because Aura and Ki are two different things.
For those wondering where Kron is at in terms of power, he's stronger than kid Goku at the start of Dragon Ball, but weaker then he is at his first tournament.
Now before you call bull, hear me out ok?
Kid Goku at the start of Dragon Ball was trained by Grandpa Gohan and 10 years old ,he lifted and threw Bulma's car then got shot in the face and was fine.
Kron is 5 years old and he's still stronger due to just living on a planet with 10x Earth's gravity and like was mentioned in the chapter, he didn't train as much as he wanted, he was forced to spend time studying Saiyan history, helping his father entertain other saiyans, and doing chores.
And that is why Kron is at that level, so he can be challenged in RWBY.
This way he's still strong and huntsman or grimm can still put him down if he's not careful, for now. So he won't be OP for the world at all thus making it an interesting story.
And no he will not have enough power to use the Artificial Moon any time soon, if he does he might need a decade.
And of course no he's not going to wipe out all of Remnant, or Earth. Things will get complicated and his course will change.
He'll enroll at beacon with Team RWBY and the team will be RWBYK(Rubic). Lol! Jk, no that's NOT gonna happen, something else.
I hope you guys enjoyed this first chapter and future chapters to come.
Have an awesome day! :)
