Finding your fire
Another day at the boiling isles means another adventure for our friends. Right now the three friends are with Eda and King trying to sell human Items. It's been a few days since the incident that had taken place with Eda's curse and right now our friends are trying to continue on with their lives. As the group are waiting for customers, Eda is dusting the table, Y/n is playing with baby dragon, Luke is reading a book and listening to music on his headphones, and Luz is reading to King one of the Azura chapters.
Luz: Emboldened by the dishonor Hecate had shown, Azura lifted her staff to the cotton-candy skies and shouted, "I challenge you to a Witch's Duel!" And look! I drew a flip book. [flips between two pages] Pew, pew, pew!
Y/n: [walks over with baby dragon on his head] Your drawings were always cool Luz.
Luz blushes from Y/n's complement and looks away. She is trying to follow Luke's advice from last night.
King: Show me the picture.
Luz: [looks at king] What?
King: Show me the picture! [Luz does] Hah! I can draw better than that. You know, they once called me the King of Artists.
Y/n: [raises an eyebrow] Uhh I thought they called you the king of demons? Are you just making this up now? [Baby dragon and Luz giggles]
King: No! Doesn't matter. What's important is that my followers would leave me offerings in fear of me!
Luz: Well, I can offer you more of this tantalizing book.
Eda: [groans] Ugh! Please stop reading that. Its flowery language is an insult to witches and driving away all of our serious customers! [looks at Luke] How are you able to keep yourself sane from all this?
Everyone turns their heads towards Luke and notice that he didn't hear a single word they said because he is too deep into his music.

Luke, notices everyone staring at him, looks up and removes one of his earbuds out of his ear with his book left hand.
Luke: Huh? You say something?
Eda: [glares] Nevermind.
Y/n: [sweats] Well with all do respected Eda [zoom out to the empty street] What customers? Where is everybody anyway?
Eda: This is a bad omen. There must be something horrible happening today.
Gus: Guys!
Everyone turned their heads to see both Gus and Willow running up to them.
Y/n&Luz: Gus! Willow! Hey!
Gus: Something amazing is happening today!
Luke: [currios] Really? What's happening?
Willow: [holds up a flier] It's the annual convention! Student witches get to see all the types of covens before they're placed in one. There's even a mystery guest this year!
Y/n: Whoa cool!
Luz: A job fair for witches! Eda, can we go?
Eda: Absolutely not!
This makes Luz groan and slowly falls. Y/n catches her just in time. Luke just sits in his chair and watches the scene.
Y/n: [holding Luz] Why not Eda?
Eda: I never joined a coven for a reason. Sure it's like a fun club for witches, but you're also giving up your magical independence to be part of a crooked system.
Luke: [points his thumb to Willow and Gus] Still here by the way.
Eda: [crosses her arms and turns the other way] Eh, but, you know, no judgment. In any case, I haven't been to one since we were girls.
Y/n: [raises his eyebrow] We?
Eda: [panics] I- I mean- uh
Luz: [gets off of Y/n arms] Who's "we"? You have a mysterious past! Now we gotta go!
Eda: No!
Both Y/n and Luz give a sad look. But they both looked at each other and gave a mischievous look. Luke sees this and just smirks knowing what's about to happen.
Y/n: [crosses his arms] Ok Eda just know we tried it the nice way.
Luz: [gives King the Azura Book] But know it's time for our way.
Eda: [horrified] You two wouldn't. [notices they are still grinning] Uhhh Luke can I borrow your-
Luke: [puts his earbuds back in and does a thumbs up] Have fun!
Luz snaps her fingers and then
King: "You shall not shan't doeth no more harm," Azura callethed out... [continues reading]
Eda: [stares into nothingness] So flowery, so awful. [Eda walks away, opening the Portal Door and stepping through it.]
King: "Hecate could only screech, screech as did she, for the screeching did worseneth."
Luz picks up King and throws him in the portal as the door closes behind them. The three friends hold up three fingers.
Y/n: Three.
Luz: Two.
Luke: One.
Eda: [comes back out of the portal with King on her head] Stop it! Stop it! I will literally do anything to stop this!
Y/n: Really?
Eda: Yes! Please just make him stop!
Luz: Even takes us to the convention.
Eda: [begs] YES!
Y/n: Alright King that's enough.
King closes the book and hands it back to Luz as he jumps onto the ground. Luke puts his book and earbuds away and walks over to a frowning Eda.
Luke: [pats her back] Welcome to my world.
Eda: I hate it.
Luke: I know.
The scene changes to the group standing right in front of a large building. Everyone was excited.
Eda: [groans]
Almost everyone.
Before the group walks in Eda and King are struggling to put Eda's cowl over her head.
Eda: [grunts with King on her head] Gotta keep a low profile.
Y/n and Luz sees this and goes over to help her with Luke having his hands in his pockets.
Luz: [grunts as she tries to shove Eda's hair in the cowl] Is this cowl really necessary?
Eda: Do you think all my wanted posters are for petty theft? [numerous small objects fall out of her hair]
Luke: [blank face look] That answered your question.
Eda: Well… partly. [scoops the things back into her cowl] But the big whammy is I disobeyed the law and refused to join a coven. If I'm seen, I could go to jail. Again.
Luke: Of course.
Willow: [approaching with one of Eda's wanted posters] Maybe this informative event will inspire you to join a coven.
Eda gets annoyed and draws a circle that pulls Willow's cowl over her face. Luke just shakes his head as he walks over and helps take it off her face.
Luke: You ok?
Willow: [blushes] Y-yea thanks look.
Luke: [shrugs his shoulders] No problem. [walks ahead] Alright let's go check this place out.
Y/n puts his hand over his chin and thinks.
Luz: Y/n you ok?
Y/n: [breaks out of his thoughts] Huh? [looks at Luz] Oh nothing Luz just thinking let's go.
Y/n goes and catches up to Luke with the others following behind them. They all enter the building, As Y/n and Luz were amazed by what they saw. They say creatures of shapes and sizes, nine multi-colored tapestries hung from the roof, and different booths were under them. Even Luke was amazed with what he saw.
Y/n&Luz: [amazed] Were we even alive before?
Luke: Got to say not half bad. [looks at the tapestries] So what are those?
Gus: Those are the main nine covens, but there are hundreds of other ones you can join.
Luke: I see.
They all start walking as Gus and Willow explain.
Willow: [as they're all walking] There's Flower Coven, Artist Coven, Big Dog Coven, Small Cat Coven, Tiniest Cat Coven- [Eda groans] and the grumpy coven.
Luke: [smirks] Sounds like something Eda would be a part of.
Eda: [glares] What was that?
The group laughs and starts to run forward. Eda stays behind and looks at the three kids.
Eda: [smiles] At least they're having fun.
?: Excuse me ma'am.
Eda turns around to see a bold head man.
Man: But you look rather familiar. [looks between Eda's wanted posters and her]
Eda: [freaks out] Uh... No, I don't. Distraction spell! [She reaches into her cowl and throws a bag on the ground. It's Hex Mix.]
After a moment of silence Eda starts to run away. The man tries to pick up the Hex Mix but Eda runs back and takes it. She drags the man's hood over her face and runs off to catch up to the kids. As the kids look around they stop to see a muscular wizard with a hard cap. Behind him were bricks and wood. Beside him was the tiny nose prisoner.
Luke: (Wait is that)
Y/n: [points] What's that?
Willow: That's the Construction Coven.
The witch grabs both pallets from the bottom and tosses them in the air. The materials fall down to perfectly construct a small house.
Luke: [impressed] Not bad.
Willow: One of the main nine. They use power glyphs to increase their strength.
The witch removes his hard hat to pull off a power glyph from a stack atop his head. He peels the adhesive off the back of one and puts it on Tiny Nose's nose. Her pupils constrict.
Tiny Nose: [screams and picks up the witch, throwing him in the air] Ha-a-a! I'm the destroyer of worlds! [grabs the Construction Coven sign and tosses it]
Man #2: Hey, that's the opposite of construction!
Luke: [sweats] Geez talk about power.
Luz: Yowza-wowza!
Suddenly a blue copy of Luz appeared behind her.
Copy Luz: Yowza-wowza!
Luz: Yowza-wha-a-a?
Her illusion double walks over to two Illusion track witches. It waves at her and disappears.
Y/n: That was soo cool!
Gus: [runs over to the other witches] Ah! You've been taken in by the allure of the Illusionist Coven. We like to magic with a hint... [disappears in a cloud of smoke, reappears a few feet to the right] ...of showmanship. [He bows as the other two appear next to him.]
Luz: Wow! Acceptance? Comradery? A sense of belonging? Covens sound incredible!
Y/n: I know right [looks at Eda] How come you never joined one Eda?
Luke: Probably her pride didn't want her to [gets hit in the head by Eda] Ow!
Eda: Watch closely kids. [Another Illusion track witch is now standing with one of the other ones.] When you join a coven, all your other magic is sealed away. [A seal in the shape of a mirror appears on the witch's wrist, light blue lines running from it up his arms and face. He pales slightly as the lines fade.] From now on, that kid will only be able to make illusions. Since I never joined a coven, I can do every kind of magic. [creates a fireball in one hand and a ball of water in the other, then makes both disappear] That's why I'm the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles.
Luke: Well there goes all the joy I had for this place.
Y/n: [shocked] You had joy for this place?
Luke: Shut it. (Why the hell would such a thing exist?)
Little Demon: Sounds like an emperor doesn't want to get over throne.
Luke: (What?)
Little Demon: Think about it being forced to join one covenant and having all their magic stript away once they join. Sounds like someone is afraid if too many people having multiple magic powers would overthrow him.
Luke takes in what the demon said and notices he might have a point. Why does a witch have to sacrifice all their magic just to be able to use one? It's like all the hard work they did to learn other spells was wasted. Still though Luke refused to admit the demon was right.
Luke: (Yea well I guess I need to learn more about it to find out.)
Little Demon: Hehe you do that. Oh and also something like that wouldn't work on us anyway.
Luke just sighs knowing that plan wouldn't work and just keeps walking. The other started walking until King was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. He turns around and sees a girl trying to tell him something.
Student: The tea leaves foretell that this [pulls out a pen] will lead you to your destiny. [puts the pen in his hands]
King: Destiny? Feh! I'm not paying for-
Student: [retreating into the shadows] It's free-e-e.
King: Are you bestowing gifts upon me? Yes! I accept your offering! The King of Demons is back!
The scene changes with the group walking up to an entrance of a section with guards on both sides, standing at attention. Above the entrance was a covenant bander that had a sword with wings and a circle in the middle. The guards were wearing a white cape and cowl with a raven-looking mask.
Y/n: This panel looks popular.
Gus: [gasps] It's the Emperor's Coven! Do you think they'll sign my forehead?
Willow: Only one way to find out!
Both Willow and Gus run in and Y/n and Luz start to follow after them but they see both Eda and Luke staying behind.
Luz: Hey aren't you guys coming?
Y/n: Yea It could be really fun.
Eda: No way. Of all the covens, they're the worst. I'll wait out here.
Luke: I agree with the hag [Eda: Hey!] Something about this place is giving me a bad vibe and this one is giving me a worst one.
Luz: [sighs] I get it, Eda. Covens: bad. Individualism: good. But we're still trying to figure this world out, so me and Y/n are going to go in there and make up our minds, okay? [looks at Y/n] Let's go Y/n.
Y/n: [pumps his right fist] Alright let's go.
Both Y/n and Luz walk into the emperor's coven leaving both Eda and Luke outside by themselves.
Eda: Surprised you didn't join them.
Luke: [sighs] Part of me says I should but the other part of me doesn't like what this place is doing to witches. I mean removing all their hard work just to only be able to do one spell is idiotic.
Eda was surprised by Luke's outbursts but at the same time he reminded her of Igneel when he said something similar.
Igneel: [burning the seal] A system forced to learn one thing and forget the rest you learn is something I refuse to be a part of.
Eda: [smiles] Glad you get it kid.
Luke: [puts his hands over his head] Well lets just say I know when I'm being played.
Little Demon: Do you know?
Luke: (Shut it you.)
Eda: [turns around] Well I guys we can wait for them out her-
Luke: [looks at what Eda is looking at] What the matt-
They both see the same man Eda had blinded, is talking to a guard.
Man: [holding Eda's wanted poster] She's over there. I think that's her! [points at her]
Luke: [panics] So want to go watch the show?
Eda: [panics and nods her head] Yep!
Luke&Eda: GUYS WAIT UP!
Both Eda and Luke start making their way inside the entrance. Meanwhile, both Y/n and Luz were so surprised by how big the theatre was inside the Emperor's covent.
Y/n: Man this place is so huge.
Luz: I know right.
Y/n takes the baby dragon off his head and holds him as he yawns in response. Y/n chuckles at this and just rubs his back which causes the baby to purr. Luz watches this and can't help but smile at how Y/n is so gentle with him even though he has the title of dragon slayer. They both heard Eda and Luke coming with Eda sitting beside Luz and Luke sitting beside Y/n.
Eda: All right, let's see this mess.
Y/n: [smiles] You both changed your minds huh?
Luke: [scoffs] Hardly.
The lights started to dim down and music started playing. Then principle bump rises from the floor with spirals of green magic, a spotlight illuminating him. The audience applauds and cheers as he summons a mic.
Bump: Hello, Bonesborough! Students ask me all the time, "Principal Bump, what's the height of magical achievement?"
Student: Is it this? [increases the size of his head greatly, crushes the student next to him]
Y/n: [worried] Uhhh…
Luke: [facepalms] This place will never cease to amaze me.
Bump: Wow. I failed you as a principal. [grabs the mic with some feedback] It's being selected to join the best of the best. And there is none better than the jewel of the coven system [three witches appear] and the enforcers of His will, the Emperor's Coven.
Luz: [amazed] Whoa!
Y/n: [taps Luz and Luke's shoulder] Hey guys look.
Both Luz and Luke looked to where Y/n was pointing and they saw Gus and Willow. Gus had his face written on it that had the words ' Emperor's coven' and Willow was pointing at it with both her index fingers. Luz giggled and waved and Luke smirked and nodded. They all turned back and watched the show.
Bump: Feast your eyes on this elite force, each member handpicked to help usher in a new age of controlled magic.
Each Coven guard traces a white spell circle above their head. One produces a jet of flame, another water, and the third lightning. The three elements come together in a firework that turns to confetti, which Luz grabs.
Y/n: [watching] Cool!
Eda: [to the demon next to her] When does that elite force get here? [laughs]
Bump: Members of the Emperor's Coven have access to all- yes, all forms of magic. Ooh. Aah.
The crowd repeats the Ooh and Aah as Luke just watches with an annoyed reaction.
Luke: (So pretty much if you want to keep all of your magic you have to be a kiss ass for the Emperor.)
Little Demon: The weak serves the strong.
Bump: But... only the best can ascend these ranks. Some day that could be one of you!
When he said that he points to Amity as she squeals with excitement. Y/n sees her and has a nervous grin on his face.
Luke: [looks at Y/n] Please tell me you didn't think she was not going to come here?
Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] Hehehe I would be lying if I said I didn't. (Hopefully she isn't still mad about the whole abomination incident.)
The show continues as Eda is just laughing at all of this.
Bump: And now, I'm pleased to introduce the esteemed leader of this coven and this year's mystery guest. You know her, you love her! Lilith!
This caused the crowd to gasp and Eda to stop laughing. This also made Zack appear over Y/n's head as he was also shocked.
Zack: Wait did he say-
A bright flash of light near the ceiling turns into a blue raven sitting on a branch. It flies off the branch to the stage, landing to reveal the woman Lilith. She is a tall, slender middle-aged woman in her mid to late forties (two years older than Eda). She has white skin, pointy ears, navy blue lips, long, dark navy blue hair, and cyan eyes. She also has dark claw-like nails. She wears a long-sleeved two-tone dark gray dress and dark gray laced boots. She also had an inverted kite-shaped sky blue gem located on her sternum, which was attached to her dress.
Both Zack and Eda look at her speechless. Luz looks at Eda and Y/n looks at Zack.
Y/n&Luz: Do you know her?
Zack&Eda: [Zack is smiling with his arms crossed and Eda is frowning with her arms crossed] You could say that.
Luz: [gasp] Mysterious past!
Luke: [shrugs] She probably stole money from her or something.
Eda: [glares at Luke] Hey I did that to her many times mine you!
Y/n: [tries to think while looking back at Lilith] (Lilith. Lilith. I feel like you mention her name before)
Zack: [smiles] Keep thinking and then you'll remember.
Lilith: Thank you, all. [magically sends her cape and mask back into Principal Bump] It wasn't easy for me to rise to the top. I also started from humble beginnings.
Student: Like me?
Luke: [facepalm] Keep dreaming buddy.
Lilith: Now I have the highest honor of enforcing the Emperor's will. So be more! The Emperor's Coven awaits you!
She spins, creating the raven illusion again. It spreads its wings before bursting into balls of light. Lilith poses with her arms out, smirking, while Eda glares at her. Zack on the other hand is smiling.
Zack: You did it Lilabel.
The scene then cuts to the outside of the auditorium. The group is walking out of it with Luke and Eda beginning to head out and Y/n and Luz trying to stop them.
Luz: Eda! Luke! Where are you two going?
Y/n: [stands beside Luz with Baby dragon on his head] Yea don't you want to see more of this stuff.
Eda: Heck no! I'm gonna head home and wash the con funk off my skin.
Luke: Look guys this place is cool and all but being forced to only use all my magic to serve some emperor guy [does an X mark with his hands] No thank you.
Eda: [smiles and pats his back] I taught you well.
Luke: You didn't teach me anything.
Eda: Exactly.
Luz: But we haven't even taken the quiz to determine our coven type! [She pulls out a thick magazine out of her pocket, flipped to a quiz named "What Coven Are You In?", and holds it above her head.]
Both Luke and Eda turn around and draw a circle. Eda's circle was a light blast while Luke's circle was a dark blast. Each blast hits the magazine and burns two holes through it. Both Eda and Luke start to walk away from a shocked Y/n and Luz. Luz brings the magazine down and looks at it.
Luz: Huh Eda's was a punky potionist and Lukes was a moody beastist.
Y/n: [chuckles] Sounds like Luke.
The two start walking but notice that someone was missing from their group.
Y/n: [looks around] Uh Luz have you seen King anywhere?
Luz: [panics] What!? I thought he was with you! [Yells] King mom's baby precious where are you!?
Y/n: [pats her back] Calm down he couldn't have gone far lets split up and try to find him.
They both nod their heads and start going in separate directions to find King.
Y/n: [yells] King!? King!? Where are you little buddy!? [has an idea] Wait baby dragon!?
The baby dragon starts to open his eyes and yawns.
Y/n: [scratches his cheek] Sorry to wake you buddy but do you think you can find King for me?
The baby dragon makes a little chirp noise and nods his head.
Y/n: Awesome now lets go fine-
Y/n was interrupted when he accidentally bumped into somebody.
Y/n: [walks back a little and rubs his head] Oh sorry I should have paid more attenti-
He stopped and looked at the person to see a familiar green haired girl.
Amity: [turns around angry] Watch where you're going yo- [realize who he is] Oh it's you, the so-called son of Igneel.
Y/n: [chuckles nervously] Hey Amity how's it going?
She just gives him a death glare which causes him to shiver.
Y/n: R-r-right not so good it would seem? Hehe
Amity: [sighs angrily] You have a lot of nerve showing yourself after what you and willows abomination did to me.
Y/n: Uhh about that Luz, Willow's abomination, is actually not an abomination. She is human and I am too. Well half human since the other half of me is part dragon. [looks at Amity and notices she is getting annoyed. Flinches] A-a-anyway how about we start over as friends. [coughs into his fist] My name is Y/n Dragneel.
Amity: [slaps his hand] Ugh. Put that away. You're the ones that got me in trouble with Principal Bump and I never get in trouble. [walks away]
Y/n: [walks after her] Well to be fair you did try to cut open Luz.
Amity: [turns around] You can't be here! This convention is for witches only.
Y/n: Well it didn't say anything about a half human and half dragon joining did it?
Amity: Please like I'll ever believe you are the son of Igneel Dragneel.
Y/n: Well I don't need you to believe me. I have both my friends Luz and Luke that believe me. One of my teacher's friend and a furious demon by my side.
Luz: Y/N!
Both Y/n and Amity turned their heads to see Luz running towards them at full speed. She starts to slow down and tries to catch her breath.
Luz: [breathless] I *huff* found *huff King. [falls on her knees] Oh my gosh, I never ran that fast before in my life.
Y/n: [walks up to her and wraps his arm around her shoulder] Geez don't push yourself to hard Luz.
Luz: [looks at him with a smile] Hey I could say the same to you.
Y/n: You got me there.
Both Y/n and Luz share a laugh as Amity watches. She couldn't explain it but as she was watching a little pain was felt in her heart but she ignored it.
Luz: [looks at Amity] Oh hey Amity. What are you doing here?
Amity: [looks at Luz with her arms crossed] Just talking with him [points at Y/n]
Luz: [looks at Y/n] Oh really what were you two talking about?
Now for some reason the way Luz said that made Y/n feel uneasy. It was hard to explain it but he felt like if he chose the wrong words he would end up six feet under.
Y/n: uhh we uhh well-
Amity then interrupts him and points behind the two friends.
Amity: [Points] So is that your so-called furious demon.
Both Luz and Y/n turn their heads and Y/n begins to sweatdrop on what they saw. They see King walking with a green baseball cap, wearing a green shirt, a blue and light blue striped scarf and holding a cupcake in his hand. Behind him were two bakers with a tray of cupcakes in each hand.
King: Cupcakes in my tummy-tum makes the King say yummy-yum!
Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] Y-yea that is hehehe.
King: So you'll join the Bakers Coven?
King: [eats a cupcake in one bite] Hmm... Nope! [steals a cupcake off the other baker's tray and runs] Oh, hey, guys! Look at all those offerings- [trips on his scarf] Wah!
Both Y/n and Luz ran up to King to make sure he's ok.
Y/n: You ok little buddy.
King: [gets up like nothing happened] Ha of course I am I am the King of demons after all.
The group just chuckled at King's remarks. The baby dragon walks up to King and rubs on him.
King: And my second of command will make my enemies tremble in fear.
Y/n: [chuckles and sees King's cupcake] Can't be a King on an empty stomach. I got you litt-
Y/n gets interrupted by Amity stepping on King's cupcake with a devious smirk on her face.
Amity: [acting innocent] Opps! Now that was an accident.
Luz: Why are you being so mean Amity!?
Amity: Because you two and your pets are giving us witches a bad name!
King: [scratches the back of his ear] I am not a pet!
Y/n: [gets up and stares her down] King and Baby dragon aren't pets their my friends and I don't appreciate how you're treating them!
Luz nodded with agreement, while holding on to King, and baby dragon was growling beside her.
Amity: Like I care! [looks at the three] Seeing who you hang out with [looks back at Y/n with a smirk] I'm guessing whoever taught you is also pathetic as well.
Zack hears this and an arrow ends up shooting him through the chest with the words 'PATHETIC' on it.
Zack: [falls comedic style] Out of all words she could have used, why did it have to be pathetic!? [body twitches on the floor]
Luz was about to say something but was cut off by Y/n's.
Y/n: [eyes glow red] OK THAT'S IT!
This caused everyone, especially Amity to flinch in fear.
Y/n: I don't care if you believe I am a dragon slayer or not! I don't care if you think little of me or not! And I don't care how many times you make fun of me! But I draw the line if you make fun of my friends and insult my teacher!
The air around them started to get hotter and hotter, almost making it difficult for anyone to breath. Baby dragon slowly started to hide behind Luz, scared of Y/n anger. Amity kept her composure as best as she could.
Amity: W-well what are you going to do about it?
Y/n: [raises his head and points his finger at her] I challenge you to a witches duel!
This caused everyone around them to start talking, some say 'what' other saying 'witches duel'. Even Luz was surprised by what Y/n suggested.
Amity: [walks up to his face] I accept. [takes a step back] So what are your terms?
Y/n: [holds up one finger] One if I win you apologist to King for squashing his cupcake.
King: [squeeze the cupcake] Goodnight sweet child.
Baby dragon walks over to King and rubs his head on him.
Y/n: [raises up another finger] Two you have to admit that humans and half breeds can be witches too. [raises a third finger] And three you apologist for calling my master pathetic.
Zack looked at Y/n surprised as he would go this far for him.
Amity: Fine but if I win not only you have to tell the whole convention you're that you and your friends are not real witches and dragon slayers you and your friends have to stop learning magic forever!
This causes Y/n to flinch a little. Right now he is risking not only his future, but both Luz and Luke's future as well.
Amity: [smirks] Oh what's wrong 'dragneel' scared of a little bet?
Y/n just grunts in response trying to decide if he wants to agree or not. He then feels baby dragon laying on his left shoulder and feels Luz's hand on his right shoulder.
Luz: You can do it Y/n you've beaten bullies before.
Baby dragon barks in agreement. This caused Y/n to get his covidence back and faced back to Amity.
Y/n: [smirks] Fine I'll accept those terms. [holds his hand out] Shake on it.
Amity walks up to Y/n and draws a circle around his hand. She puts her hand through the circle and shakes his hand.
Amity: The everlasting oath is sealed. Meet back inside the theater in one hour. [starts to walk away] Let's see if what you said is true Dragneel.
Y/n: Amity wait.
Amity stops walking and looks back at Y/n.
Y/n: I plan to give it my best out there so [holds up a fist] I hope you do the same.
Amity just stares at Y/n and turns her head back around and continues to walk off. Y/n takes a deep breath out as his eyes go back to normal.
Y/n: Welp that happened.
Luz: [nervous] Yea [looks at King] Hey King you think Y/n can win this right?
King: [eating the spilled cupcake] Huh oh yeah well actually no.
Y/n: [shocked] What!? What do you mean no!?
King: [looks at Y/n] Y/n you are going against one of the best students in Hexside!
Y/n: So I can still-
King: And you barely can control your fire! Can you even summon your fire at will!?
Y/n was about to say something but that's when he thought for a second. He has not been training at all to control his fire. Even after Eda told him how he still hasn't done any practice to at least get better at this.
Y/n: [panics] Oh crap.
Luz: [freaks out and pulls Y/n arm] We need to find Eda, maybe she can help!
Y/n: Luz what hold on-
But it was too late Luz had pulled Y/n as they began running to find Eda to help them in this situation. The scene cuts to Eda and Luke still trying to find the exit.
Luke: [sighs] Can't you just admit that we are lost?
Eda: Because we aren't, I know where we are going.
Luke: You've been saying that for the past 15 minutes.
Eda: [glares at Luke] Well if you're so smart why don't you try to lead?
Luke: I've been trying but you keep on saying [does an Eda impression] "Kid I know this place like the back of my hand I got this"
Eda: That's a terrible impression.
Luke: But not inaccurate.
The two kept on arguing until someone noticed them.
?: Sister?
Both Eda and Luke turn their heads and see Lilith looking at them as she is surrounded by several Hexside students. She starts walking up to them with the students walking behind her. Eda just crosses her arms and Luke looks at the scene with curiosity.
Lilith: It's been so long since I've seen you last! What are you wearing? You look like some sort of trash collector. Oh, right. You are.
Luke: [chuckles] She does, doesn't she. [gets hit in the back of the head] Ow!
Eda: Oh, Lily. I just had to see the leader of the Emperor's Coven in action. [leans down to talk to the students] You know, when we were kids, Lilith was so excited to see the Emperor's Coven, she peed a little.
The kids and Luke all just laugh as Lilith blushes with embarrassment.
Lilith: That- That's all for today. [ushers them off. To Eda] You shouldn't even be here. You're a wanted criminal!
Luke: Lets just say she got forced by someone.
Lilith: [looks at Luke] and who might you be young man?
Luke: [bows his head] The name is Luke, Luke Martins.
Lilith: (Martins? Where have I heard that last name before?)
Luke: [waves his hand in her face] You ok there Miss Lilith?
Lilith: [breaks out of her thoughts] Huh? Oh yes, I'm fine. But Lilith will be fine.
Luke: Alright gotcha.
Lilith: A well matter individual.
Eda: Yep he is my student after all.
Luke: Sadly.
Lilith: But as I was saying, what are you both doing here? Unless [gasp with excitement] I don't believe it! You are here to join the Emperor's Coven!
Eda: [chortles, laughs] In your dreams. [laughing]
Lilith: You think being covenless makes you so much smarter than everyone else. But while you run from the law like a degenerate, I'm mentoring the next generation of powerful witch students into the world.
Eda: Well, I have students as well. And I bet they could wipe the floor with any of your prissy little blue bloods.
Luke: Huh?
Lilith: [stepping closer] Is that a challenge?
Eda: Oh, it's a promise.
Luke: [sighs] (Siblings and Teachers trying to show off who is better.) [smiles] (Never gets better than this.)
Suddenly Luz and Y/n are running up to everyone with Luz still dragging Y/n while having a freaked out look on her face.
Luz: Eda! [stops in front of the others] We need your help! Y/n challenged Amity in a witches duel and I think she is going to kill him dead!
Luke: [looks at Y/n] How and Why?
Y/n: Long story I'll explain later.
Lilith: I'm guessing these are your other students' sisters.
Y/n&Luz: [shocked] Sister?
Luke: Yea I found out about it myself.
Y/n: [looks at Lilith and thinks] Wait blue hair, cyan eyes and related to Eda. [gasp] I remember you know.
Eda: uhh kid you just-
Luke: [puts his finger up] Hold on let him figure it out. [looks at Y/n and holds three fingers up] You have three chances.
Y/n: [thinks] Uhh uhh Lucy?
Luke: [drops a finger] No.
Y/n: uh uh Lily?
Luke: [drops another finger] close but no. One more guess.
Y/n: Uhhhhh Lilabel.
After he said that this caused Lilith to blush bright red because she remembered one other person calling her by that name.
Luke: Nope, it's Lilith.
Y/n: [snaps his fingers] Aww I was so close.
Luz: [giggles and pats his back] You'll get it next time Y/n.
Lilith: [still blushing] H-how? [they all look at Lilith] No where did you hear that name?
Y/n: Oh right my teacher used to talk about you all the time.
Lilith: [surprised] A-and what was his name?
Y/n: Zack, Zack Strife.
This caused Lilith to be shocked.
Y/n: I'm guessing you two were pretty close?
Lilith: [stumbling] That's well uh
Eda: [smirks] Are you kidding kid? Back in school Zack and her would always go everywhere together [puts her hands together and layer her head over them] because they loved each other.
Lilith: [blushing bright red] For the last time he wouldn't leave me alone!
Eda: [puts a finger up] Ahh but you never told him to leave you alone did you?
Lilith: [tries to find the right words to say] I you well I shut up!
Eda just laughs while the others just watch the scene like it was some sort of comedy.
Lilith: [coughs into her hand] Anyway moving past this [looks at Y/n] what is your name?
Y/n: Y/n, Y/n Dragneel.
Once she heard this she was shocked to hear this and looked at Eda.
Eda: I know what you're about to say and no he is nothing like him.
Lilith: I see [look at Y/n] So Y/n where is your father?
Y/n: [shrugs his shoulders] Don't know never meet him before.
Luke and Luz just looked at Y/n they didn't know why but Y/n didn't seem that happy talking about his dad. Lilith notices his tone and decides to change the subject.
Lilith: Well it would seem you have challenged my young protégé. Do you really think you can win?
Y/n: [smiles and cracks his knuckles] Won't know until I fight her will I?
Once he said that for a split second Lilith thought she had seen Zack above him which caused her to shake her head.
Lilith: [looks at Eda] Okay, Edalyn. [Lilith traces a spell circle. Around the building, Eda's wanted posters burn.] For one day, you won't have to hide from the law, because I want to see how good a teacher you really are. [walks away] (The same goes for you Zack.)
Eda: [raps her arm around Y/n] Alright kid let's get ready for a blood bath.
Luz: [nervous] Uhh whose blood?
Eda: [smiles] Anyone's guess.
Luke: [facepalm] Lets add attempted murder on our teachers list.
The scene then cuts to the corner of the building, with Eda training Y/n for his fight against Amity. Luz is sitting on an empty box with baby dragon in her hands. Luke is leaning against a wall, beside Luz, as he has his arms crossed as they watch. Eda is putting on a sweatband on her head reading to begin.
Eda: Ok Y/n I'm throwing a fireball at you what do you do?
Y/n: [smiles] Ha easy! I stand there and eat it.
Eda: Nice! Ok how about this. I'm attacking you with a wave of ice. What do you do?
Y/n: I dodge out of the way and use [takes out his sword] this big guy right here.
Eda just looks at it dumbfounded. Luke notices this and speaks for her.
Luke: Uhh Y/n I think she was expecting you to use your fire abilities.
Eda: Yea.
Y/n: [laughs nervously] Yea about that I still can't use my fire at will.
Eda: What!?
Y/n: W-well I never had the time and you never came to help me out either.
Eda was about to rebuttal but she then thought about it and noticed she never did help Y/n control his fire.
Eda: Oh right I never helped you did I?
They all shaked their heads as Eda just chuckles nervously.
Eda: Boy, I hope you didn't make an everlasting oath to stop learning magic or anything. You'd be toast.
This caused both Y/n and Luz to slightly panic.
Luz: I-Is there a glowy hand thing that happens, or, uh-
She was cut off by the sound of Amity's voice.
Amity: Abomination. Rise.
Lilith and Amity are standing nearby. An abomination that comes up to Amity's shoulders rises from her spell circle on the ground with a groan. It twists its head off and throws it, hitting a baker's coven witch in the face. Tiny Nose grabs his hand and chucks him.
Luke: [sweat drop] Geez they still haven't got her under control?
Luz: I can't believe the three of us are gonna have to stop learning magic!
Luke: [shocked] Wait what?
Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] Oh right I kind of betted that if I lose then the three of us have to stop learning magic.
Luke slowly starts to walk up to Y/n. Once he was in front of him Luke grabs him by the collar and brings him close to his face.
Luke: [yells] Have you lost your mind!? Why did you bring me into this!?
Y/n: [panics and puts his hands in the air] I'm sorry she was insulting King and Zack I had to do something!
Luke lets go of Y/n and begins to walk away to go clear his head. Everyone just watches Luke go as Y/n just looks down.
Y/n: (Well that happened. At least I still got some help when I fight.)
Zack: (uhh about that Y/n I'm not going to be able to help you on this one.)
Y/n: WHAT!?
Both Eda and Luz jump from Y/n outburst.
Luz: Y-Y/n you ok?
Y/n: Yea ummm I'll be right back
Y/n starts to walk away and turns a corner taking out the keychain and stares at it.
Y/n [whisper yells] What do you mean you can't help!?
Zack: [appears in front of Y/n] Y/n a witches duel is supposed to be a sacred 1 on 1 duel between two people giving it their all. If I help, that defeats the purpose of this.
Y/n was about to say something but Zack cut him off.
Zack: Plus didn't you promise Amity that 'YOU' would give it 'YOU'RE' all.
Y/n couldn't say anything cause Zack was right he did say that so he had to win with his own strength and skills no one else's.
Y/n: [sighs] Ok Zack.
Zack: [smiles] Just remember [does a thumbs up] You got this!
Y/n: [smiles] Thanks Zack.
Zack fades back into the keychain as Y/n just looks at it and puts it back in his pocket as he makes his way back towards the other's.
Eda: Sorry Luz I can't.
Y/n ends up over hearing both Luz and Eda's conversation.
Luz: But there has to be something you can do to get him out of this.
Eda: Sorry kid but there is nothing I can do. He made the decision to challenge her to a witches duel so he has to honor it.
Luz: But he can't, you just said he can't win without his fire. Maybe if he asks Amity to reconsider she might be able to understand.
After she said that Y/n could already feel his heart shatter, not only Luz wants him to take back the challenge he made, but she also didn't believe that he would win. Y/n starts making his way towards Eda and Luz.
Y/n: [head down] So that's how you feel huh?
Luz: [jumps] Y/N! Uhh how long were you there?
Y/n: [walks up to her] Long enough to hear that you didn't believe in me.
Eda: [backs up] Oh boy this won't end well.
Y/n: [in Luz's face] First you tell me I got this and now you're saying I don't, which one is it Luz!?
Luz: [panics] Y/n listen I said that because I thought you could use your fire ability.
Y/n: [throws his hands in the air] So just because I can't use my fire means I'm going to automatically lose now!
Luz: No that's not what I meant!
Y/n: [eyes glow red] Then what do you mean huh!? Because it sounds like my best friend thinks I'm weak!?
Slap. Luz had slapped Y/n on his left cheek. Both Eda and the baby dragon both watched with wide eyes. Y/n put his hand on his cheek and looked back at Luz to see her with tears in her eyes.
Luz: [crying] I never thought you were weak. [looks at Y/n] I just don't want to see you get hurt or worse!
Luz then starts to run off with tears in her eyes as baby dragon starts to run after her. Y/n just holds his check as he watches her run with his head down. Eda puts her hand on his shoulder.
Eda: Don't feel too bad kid she just doesn't want to lose you again.
Y/n just continues to look down. Eda does have a point Y/n did die and when he came back he acted like nothing ever happened but he never thought of how Luz and the others feel. They probably are worried that he might end up dying again but this time once he dies he won't come back.
Eda: Let her cool off first then you guys can talk.
Y/n: [sighs] Ok thanks Eda.
Eda: No problem, don't want a repeat of last time.
Y/n: [chuckles] Don't worry I won't make that mistake.
Eda: Good let's go get ready.
Y/n nods his head and hopes whatever his friends are going through they would still be there to watch him fight.
Luke POV
I was walking around the convention trying to process everything that has happened. First I find out that the covent system is a rigged system only allowing those to use one set of magic and the only way to keep all magic is to be a kiss ass to this emperor guy. Second I left both Y/n and Luz alone only to find out Y/n had challenged Amity to a witches duel and somehow I also got dragged in it, if he loses we stop learning magic. And my final rant I have is I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GET OUT OF THIS DAMN PLACE!
I just sigh and take a seat on a nearby bench and try to calm down. Let's look at the positives even if he loses we can just go home and continue our crazy life there. Cause I'm 100% sure that camp isn't going to fix those too. But something bothers me. I have no idea what will happen to me if I let this thing back into the home world. Call it strange but I feel like the magic my body gathers is somehow keeping him at bay. The human world has no magic for me to collect so if I end up going back I might not be able to control it and I could-
I stop thinking about that and try to think about something else. I was so lost in thought I didn't notice 2 people walking up to me.
Twins: [in both my ears] HEY LUKE CAN YOU HEAR US!?
This made me fall backwards and landed on my head as my ears were ringing. I don't even have to look to recognize those voices. I hate these two so much.
Me: [rubs my ears] Why?
Edirc: Sorry we've been trying to call you but you were so lost in thought we decided that would work.
Me: [looks at Emira] And you just so happened to agree to this?
Emira: [nods her head] Yep.
Well at least she was honest. I sighed and sat back down in my chair as the ringing stopped. Both Edric and Emira looked at each other and then back to me.
Emira: [worried] Hey Luke you ok?
Me: [sighs] I'm fine.
Edric: [seats beside me] Come on you can tell us we're friends after all.
Me: When did-
Twins: You said it.
Me: Damn.
Emira: Soooo.
I know these two are going to keep bugging me so I might as well tell them without telling them the whole thing.
Me: I have this friend that loves to cause messes everywhere. Problem is I am the one that ends up bailing him out of this mess. It drives me insane to the point I ask myself 'how did I get myself stuck with him'. Currently he got himself in a big mess that I'm not allowed to help with. The problem about it, the punishment for it affects me in a bad way. I ended up walking away and trying to process what to do.
There I ended up telling them parts of what happened. I see the twins thinking about what to say.
Emira: Ok here's a question for you. Why did you stay with him for this long?
Me: [confused] Huh?
Edric: Well you said him making a lot of messes drive you crazy. Which means you had plenty of opportunities to leave him before things got to this point right? So why didn't you?
Honestly I really didn't have an answer for that. Why did I stick with him for this long? Most people I meet that are like that I cut them from my life but him I didn't why is that?
Me: I-I don't know.
Emira: Maybe you really enjoy his company and you haven't realized it yet.
Maybe. I guess that would explain why I always find joy in their little pranks.
Me: [looks up in the ceiling] Maybe. So, what should I do know?
Edric: Well if he is truly your friend you should go support him. You can't help but there is nothing that says you can't support and watch right.
Support and watch? Huh he has a point I guess what he really needs is his friends by his side right now.
Me: [gets up] Huh, who would've thought two trouble makers had good advice?
Edric: Thank you [process what I just said] Hey!
Both me and Emria chuckled at Edrics reaction.
Edric: Hey uh Luke [pokes his fingers together] this friend isn't me is it?
Me&Emira: Huh?
Edric: [panics] Well you said you got into a lot of mess and you walked away from him and you're trying to figure out what to do. I just thought it was me.
I couldn't begin to tell him how wrong he was. Instead I took a deep breath and just said.
Me: No it isn't you Edric.
Edric: Oh ok. [wipes his forehead] Phew glad that stress is over.
He was stressing over this. This guy.
Emira: Anyway [gets up] Me and my brother are going to cause more pranks now so well see you later Luke.
Edric: Oh yea. See ya and good luck with your friend.
They both start to walk away as I just shake my head as they still go and prank people even here hopefully they don't get got. I guess I should go and check on that idiot. I start walking until I feel two hands wrapped around my neck as it pulls me into a hug.
Emira: [whispers in my ear] You know I haven't forgotten yet.
Me: uhh about what?
Emira: That kiss you promise me.
Goddamn it I only said that to sound cool. I have a lot of regrets right now.
Me: [light blush] I have no idea what you're talking about.
Emira: hmm maybe you forgot but I haven't and I'm still waiting.
I still can't tell if she means this or not.
Emira: You know I saw a new side of you that I never thought I would see. Maybe I can see an even better side of you.
I don't think my heart has ever beaten this fast before. I don't know how to make it stop. She lets go of me and I face her only to see she starts to glow blue.
Emira: I hope I can see it soon [winks at me] later cutie.
She disappears. That was an illusion, an illusion made me feel like that. I. Hate. That. Girl.
Luz POV
I was around a corner in a hallway crying. That jerk. I wasn't trying to call him weak, I just didn't want to see him hurt. He always does recluse things to the point he ends up hurting himself. I just buried my head in my arms as I hugged my knees. I heard some whimpering, as I looked up to see baby dragon staring at me with sad eyes.
Luz: [picks up the baby dragon and holds him close] Hey little guy you came looking for me huh?
As I held the baby dragon he began to lick my tears to try to make me feel better. While he was doing this I started to remember the times Y/n and Luke would always cheer me up. They would always do some ridiculous stunt, mostly Y/n, to always make me feel happy.
Me: [sigh] It's not like I think he can't win [looks at Baby dragon] I just don't want to lose him again.
The baby dragon just barks.
Me: I know I know I should think more positively but I just can't help it, what if I lose him again. [hugs baby dragon] Just the thought of that is too much to bare.
The baby dragon started to nuzzle his head on my cheek and looked at me. For some reason I couldn't help but see a little bit of Y/n in his eyes telling me to trust him.
Me: [smiles] Yea your right I should trust him. [stands up with baby dragon in my hands] Guess I should go support him since I was the one that got him into this.
I needed to think of some way to make it up to him. I started to think but then an idea popped in my head which made me blush bright red. W-well it wouldn't hurt would it?
3RD POV
The scene cuts back to the theatre with Eda and Y/n standing on one end and Lilith and Amity standing on the other end. Amity is looking at Y/n with a smug as Y/n looks at her with a smirk. The room starts to fill with a whole lot of people excited to see two witches fight. Y/n starts looking around the room in hopes of finding his friends. He did see both Willow and Gus and waved at them but he couldn't find Luz or Luke anywhere. This made him a little sad, he was hoping his friends would be their to watch him.
Lilith: Beloved citizens, the Emperor's Coven proudly presents an impromptu demonstration of the sort of witch we seek every year. Introducing Amity Blight.
The crowd starts to cheer for Amity as she just smiles and waves at the crowd.
Lilith: Versus… The son of Igneel dragneel.
The crowd stops cheering and looks at Y/n. Then out of nowhere they all started laughing and pointing at Y/n.
Person #1: [laughing] What son of Igneel?
Person #2: Hahaha Yeah right!
Person #3: He couldn't think of a better lie than that!?
Student: He's not Amity.
All Y/n did is sigh in response. Honestly he didn't care if no one believed him or not.
Y/n: Well that was interesting.
Eda: Yea don't let it get to you kid.
Y/n: [shrugs] Believe me I won't. [looks at Eda] Hey Eda do you think I can win?
Eda: Yep. [Y/n smiles] Uhh no? [Y/n frowns] I don't know, I think so?
Y/n: [sighs] Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Luz: [blushing] Hey Y/n.
Y/n turns around and sees Luz holding baby dragon. She had her head down and had a huge blush on her face. She puts baby dragon on the ground, walked up and hugged Y/n. He was shocked when she did that, since they had an argument, but still hugged her back nonetheless. But what she did next shocked both of them. Luz kissed Y/n on his cheek, the same cheek she slapped before. For Y/n it was like had stopped; he was enjoying the softness of her lips on his cheek. Eventually Luz pulled back looking down the whole time with a huge blush on her face.
Y/n: [blushing and stuttering] I you what kiss huh!?
Luke: Yea yea you don't have time to think about that now.
The group turns around and sees Luke walking up to them with his hands in his pocket.
Y/n: Luke! Listen I know I-
Luke: [stands in front of Y/n and waves his hand] Yea I get it your sorry blah blah blah. [points his finger] If you really want me to forgive you, kick that green hair girl's ass so we can still learn magic.
Everyone was taken back by Luke's response. Y/n broke out of his shock and smiled at Luke.
Y/n: [raises his fist next to his face] Yeah! You got it! [hears the bell scream] Alright here goes! [starts to run to the center of the arena] Wish me Luck!
Luke: [sees Y/n walk off] Luck!
Eda: [puts both her hands around her mouth and yells] You got this kid!
Luz: [rubs her arm] Please be careful.
Luke: [pats Luz back] Don't worry he's got this. (I hope.)
Luz: [nods] Yea. [looks at Luke] So you were more encouraging for him than usual.
Luke: [grunts and turns around] I just don't want him to ruin our chance to learn magic. Nothing more.
Luz: [sly smiles] Uh-huh sure.
Luke: [glares but remembers something] That was pretty bold of you to kiss him like that.
Luz starts to blush bright red which causes both Eda and Luke to laugh at her.
Luz: [blushing and waves her hands] That kiss was an apology for slapping him and for goodluck!
Luke&Eda: Uh-huh sure.
Luz just blushed even deeper. Luke starts making his way back up to the stage as Luz follows behind him yelling at him. Meanwhile Y/n was slowly approaching Amity as she was standing there waiting for him. Y/n was now standing in front of Amity ready to begin the duel.
Amity: Surprised you had the guts to show up 'Dragneel'.
Y/n: [smirks] Well I did make a promise after all. Besides, I'm the kind of guy that sees things all the way through.
Amity: Hmph! [cracks her knuckles] Last warning: turn around and walk away otherwise you could get hurt.
Y/n: [crack his neck] Sorry but I'm not running.
Amity: [smirks] Your funeral.
Amity then steps back with Y/n getting into a fighting position as he watches.
Amity: [draws a circle] Abomination rise! [raises her hand in the air]
As soon as she does this a huge abomination rises from the ground as Y/n had to look up at it. He had thought it would have been the same size as the one she summoned back when she was training with Lilith, but this one was at least 5 times bigger than that one.
Y/n: Well didn't see that coming.
Amity: [amazed] Whoa! [looks at Y/n with a smirk] Show me what you got Half breed!
Y/n: [takes his sword out] Believe me! [charges at the abomination] I will!
Y/n was running right at the abomination. The abomination raised its fist and brought it down towards Y/n. Y/n quick on his feet dodged it just in time before it hit him. He rolled on the ground and slid back on his feet as he charged the abomination again. This time the creature took its head off and threw it at Y/n. Y/n was able to jump right over it and held his sword over his head getting ready to do a horizontal slash on it.
Y/n: Take this ugly!
Y/n cuts the abomination in half causing it to split as both halves of it fall on two different sides. Y/n brings his sword over his shoulder.
Y/n: [points to Amity] Ha! How did you like that !? [notices she is still smirking] Uhh why are you-
Y/n hears something behind him forcing him to turn around. Both halves of the abomination are standing up. What made matters worse is that both sides were regenerating the half they lose. Now what was in front of Y/n was two abominations ready to attack him.
Luke: He just turned one problem into two.
Luz: [puts her hands together] Come on Y/n.
Y/n: [holds his sword in front of him. Sweating] Hehe this could be bad.
The first abomination was charging at Y/n throwing a punch at him but Y/n was able to dodge out of the way in time. However as he dodge it he was in front of the second one, the second abomination tries to stump his feet on Y/n but Y/n quickly rolls out of the way before he gets stepped on. Y/n then swings his sword vertical style and chops his foot off causing the abomination to fall. But as soon as that happens the abomination's foot connects back to its body.
Y/n: Oh come on you got to be kidding me!
The first abomination hands then turn into axe blades as it tries to slash Y/n. Y/n being quick in his feet manage to dodge it just in time.
Y/n: [panting] Damn *pants* it *pants* I can't keep *pants* dodging forever. [looks at the abomination] Well if I can't cut them [puts away his sword] then maybe I can punch them instead!
Y/n starts running at the first abomination, the first abomination starts to throw his axe hands at Y/n but he manages to dodge it. After he dodges it he punches it dead in the stomach causing it to fall on the ground.
Y/n: [smiles] How did you like that? [tries to remove his hand from the gut] What the, i'm stuck?
As Y/n was trying to get his hand out he feels something grabbing his hand. The abomination had forced one of his hand inside its body grabbing Y/n and holding him up in the air.
Y/n: This is going to hurt isn't?
The abomination starts to spin Y/n around and throws him on the ground hard causing Y/n to cough out blood. Y/n was groaning in pain until he saw that same abomination turned its hand into a sharp blade and tried to pierce him. Y/n does a flip to get out of the way before he got peirce as he was back away he tried to find the other abomination.
Y/n: [moving back] Wait where is-
Y/n was interrupted by the second abomination grabbing him from the back of the neck as it started to repeatedly slamming him on the ground over and over again.
Everyone watches in horror as Y/n is getting slammed.
Luz: [covers her eyes] I can't watch this anymore!
Luke: [squeezes his fist] Come on Y/n.
Out of nowhere King comes in piled high with hats, shirts, buttons, and scarfs.
King: Things that are free People are giving offerings to me! I love offerings! What did I miss?
Willow: [worried] Y/n is in a witches duel.
Gus: And things aren't looking good for him.
King: [shocked] What I thought I told him not to fight.
Back to the fight the abomination is holding Y/n up as he is panting and blood is falling from his face.
Amity: [smirking] So you ready to admit your defeat or are you do want to keep-
Bite.
Everyone looks and sees Y/n trying to eat the abomination? They all just stared at Y/N with their mouths open.
Luke: [points] D-did he just try to-
Gus: Eat the abomination?
Luz&Willow: Yes yes he did.
Amity was getting annoyed by his antics and commanded the abomination to throw Y/n to a nearby wall. The abomination threw Y/n to a wall and created a giant hole in it. Y/n slowly gets up as he spits out the abomination goo that he ate.
Y/n: Bleh! That thing tastes disgusting! [coughs and spits] Why did I think that was a good idea!?
Out of nowhere the first abomination goes and stabs Y/n but he was able to react, however it did cut him on his left cheek. Running out of strength he drops to one knee and holds his cut on his cheek with his left hand. The abomination reeled back his hand and started at Y/n as the second one stood beside it as well.
Amity: Well well well kneeling before me. Maybe if you beg I might consider not beating the hell out of you.
Y/n: Hey I haven't given up just yet!
Amity: [looks at Y/n] And what do you think you can do?
Y/n was trying to think of something but nothing. He couldn't cut it, punch it, hell he can't even eat it (do to it tasting terrible) what can he do?
Y/n: (Damn it she's right no matter what I do I can't win! But I have to win. I promised I wouldn't lose!)
?: Then stop holding back.
Suddenly the room around him went dark as he was in an empty void. As he tried to look around he saw a boy just looking down. The boy looked exactly like Y/n only smaller.
Y/n: W-What are you-
?: Why do you hold it in?
Y/n: What are you-
?: You hold it in. The power. [looks up at Y/n with red eyes] The fire.
Suddenly everything around him was on fire. This caused Y/n to freak out as he fell on the ground and try to crawl away as his younger self started walking up to him.
Young Y/n: Don't hold me back anymore, you're tired aren't you.
Y/n: [scared] W-w-what are you-
Young Y/n: You're tired of them calling you a freak, tired of them hurting you, tired of being weak.
The young Y/n stretches his hand toward Y/n.
Y/n: [panics] S-s-stay back.
Young Y/n: [grabs Y/n cheek] Let's burn them all.
Y/n: W-What!?
Young Y/n: If we burn them then they can't make fun of us anymore. They won't look down on us anymore. Let's end their pitiful existence.
Y/n: B-but I
Young Y/n: Stop being a good person. Take what you deserve. The respect of others.
Y/n slowly stops struggling as the fire around them starts to close in on them. Slowly Y/n can feel his conscious fading until a memory plays in his head.
Y/n: I plan to give it my best out there so [holds up a fist] I hope you do the same.
Y/n's eyes shot wide open as he grabs his younger self by the arm and squeezes it.
Y/n: I told her I give it my all. I also promised Zack that I would win with my own strength.
Young Y/n: But I am a part of you.
Y/n: You may be but you're trying to turn me into a mindless killer [eyes grow bright red as he looks at his young self] I DON'T WANT TO WIN THAT WAY!
Y/n squeezes his younger self arm tighter causing the young Y/n to disappear into the fire. Y/n stands into the middle of the fire and looks at it.
Y/n: This fire is my fire nobody else. [closes his eyes]
The fire slowly takes shape into a little girl as she starts at Y/n.
Y/n: I can't run from it.
It then takes a new form of both Luz and Luke as they are smiling at him saying 'you can do it' 'don't give up'.
Y/n: The best I can do is accept it, move on from the past and [opens his eyes] AND MAKE SURE SOMETHING LIKE THAT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!
Y/n takes a big inhale as the fire around him makes his way inside him. Back outside Y/n is looking down at the ground on one knee.
Amity: So what are you going to do 'dragneel'
Y/n slowly starts to get up from the ground as his hair is covering his eyes as he is smiling. He slowly starts to look up at Amity. When Amity sees his eyes she starts to flinch. Even Eda and Lilith flinch at what they see.
Y/n: [eyes red] I plan to win.
Exorcist Kyousoukyoku Chapter1 Me & Creed
Out of nowhere fire started to surround Y/n as it started to take shape into a dragon as it roared forcing everyone to cover their ears. The fire starts to scatter itself around the arena making everyone panic all except for baby dragon, Luz, and Luke.
Willow: Guys we need to get out of here!
Gus: She's right who knows what-
Luz: It won't hurt us.
Gus: What!?
Luke: Just watch.
The fire ended up hitting everyone but nobody felt any pain nor did that suffer any burns from it.
Gus: [looks at his arm] W-what the-
Willow: [looks all over her body] H-how?
Luke: [smiles] That idiot.
Luz: [smiles] I knew he could do it.
The baby dragon starts to wag his tail in happiness as it barks.
Back at the arena Both Eda and Lilith are also shocked of how such a thing is possible until Lilith figures it out.
Lilith: Flames of Emotion [looks at her hand as a fire is on it] He's calm meaning his fire is also calm not burning anything [looks at Y/n] he really is-
Eda looks at Y/n as she sees a teenage Igneel in his place.
Eda: [tears start to form, smiles] Like father, like son.
Amity looks at it and feels the heat around her and just glares at Y/n.
Amity: How!? How are you doing this!? Such a thing shouldn't be possible!?
Y/n: *holds his hand out and gestures here to come over* Come at me and find out.
Amity: [Angry] ABOMINATION SEIZE!
The first abomination goes for a fist at Y/n but Y/n ends up catching it with one hand as a crater is formed under him.
Amity: [shocked] What!? But that's impossible!?
Y/n then charges a fireball, in the same hand he caught the abomination in, and releases it destroying the abomination's arm off. The abomination tries to regenerate his arm but the fire prevents it from doing so.
Y/n: Looks like you can't regenerate big guy well then [dashes towards it] Let me finish off the rest of you!
Y/n commands fire in his right hand, reels his hand back, and punches right through it causing fire to come out from its back. The abomination slowly starts to burn in the fire until it's nothing but a pile of ashes. Amity looks at what happened to her abomination in pure shock.
Amity: T-this can't be happening.
Y/n lands on the ground and looks at Amity with the same red eyes as before. Amity slowly backs up.
Amity: H-How!? Why!? Who are you!?
Y/n: [smiles] My name is Y/n Dragneel.
The second Abomination starts to form behind Y/n. It lifts its foot up and tries to stomp on him.
Luz: Y/n above you!
Y/n looks above him and smiles. He soon takes out his sword and blocks the foot before it stumps on him. The sword starts to glow. He then pushes it off him forcing it to fly into the air. Y/n then reels his sword back dashes to the abomination and cuts it in half. The halves of the abomination slowly start to fade away into nothing. Everyone watches this with surprise faces unable to say anything that just happened.
Y/n: [puts his sword on his shoulder] And my teacher is Zack Stryfe.
Amity was trying to come up with something to say but she couldn't come up with anything as she just stares at Y/n. Lilith looks at Y/n and when she does she sees a familiar black hair boy.
Lilith: [covers her mouth] Zack.
Y/n: [slowly start to walk towards Amity] So how fast are you at making abomination's?
Amity: [tries to draw a circle] Abomination ri-
But Y/n dashes forward to her, before she could finish, with his sword near her neck.
Y/n: [smirks] Guess you're not fast enough. [backs up with his sword still near Amity's neck] Do you give up?
Amity tries to think of something to get her out of this, but the only thing she could think of is,
Amity: [raises both hands in the air] I give up.
Y/n still smiling removes his sword from her neck and puts it back on his back. He then looks at Lilith, as she is still shocked. Lilith notices Y/n red eyes and breaks out of her shock to notice the duel is over.
Lilith: [coughs into her palm] The winner is.. Y/n Dragneel.
The crowd was silent at first but then they all started to cheer for Y/n.
Student #1: Amazing, that was incredible!
Student #2: He really is a dragneel!
Gus: [jumps in the air] Whoa! He did it!
Willow: [clapping] Good job Y/n!
Luke: [smirks] That idiot. And here he had us all worried.
Luz: [tears of joy] Hooray Y/n's!
Y/n: [pumps his hands up] Alright! I won! [turns to Amity]
Zack was screaming in excitement, happy that his student won.
Zack: Yes! He did it! My student did it! He did it! He did it! He did it! He did it!
Y/n: [looks at Amity] That was a good fight. [puts his hand out] let's do it again sometime.
Amity looks down at his hand, but all she did was turn around with her head down.
Amity: tch! Whatever.
Amity starts to walk away. As she was walking Y/n first looked at his hand then back at Amity. He noticed something was on her neck.
Y/n: uhh Amity?
Amity: [turns around annoyed] What!?
Y/n: W-well you got something [points to the back of his neck] on the back of his neck.
Amity: What? What are you-
Before Amity could finish her sentence Eda starts to walk up to her and turns her around and sees what Y/n was talking about.
Eda: [pulls it off] A power glyph from the Construction Coven.
This causes everyone to gasp in shock.
Willow: She cheated.
Luke: (But why?)
Y/n was shocked that Amity would cheat, before he could ask her, Eda interrupts.
Eda: Ah-ha! Yes, yes, yes-yes-yes! You cheated. Perfect, prissy Lilith cheated. Hot dang, I love conventions! La-la-la-
Lilith: I only did that because I knew you would cheat! [points to Y/n sword] I mean an anti magic sword and it even his!
Eda: [holds up a finger and swings it around] Uh uh uh! Nothing in their bet said he couldn't use it! Meaning you're the one that cheated and I didn't! Welcome to my level sis!
Y/n was just watching Eda dance around and just shook his head. But he then hear Amity freaking out.
Amity: B-but I didn't know I wouldn't. [starts to run away]
Y/n: Amity wait [starts to run after her]
The other sees this and baby dragon was the first one to fly and look for Y/n and Amity.
Luz: Baby dragon wait up! [starts chasing baby dragon]
King: Hey Luz wait! [runs with her]
Willow: [looks at Luke] Aren't you going to go after them?
Luke: This is something Y/n's needs to do on his own. Besides [points at Eda and Lilith] things are getting heated between those two.
Back with Eda and Lilith. Eda is doing a little dance and Lilith is starting to get annoyed.
Lilith: [annoyed] Knock it off. You're making a scene!
Eda: You cheated. Hey, where's the Rhyming Coven? What rhymes with "cheated"?
Lilith: Stop acting like a child!
Eda: You were defeated, don't get heated, get your stank face treated.
Lilith: Rhyme one more thing. I dare you!
Eda: Oh, it's okay, I'm done. [pause] Because my rhymes are depleted!
Luke: And that was the death penalty.
Lilith: [screaming] That's it!
Lilith summons her staff and hits Eda with a blast of energy, throwing her through her spikes and into the wall behind the dais. The audience gasps all except Luke. The cloud of Lilith's blue magic clears out. Eda, splayed against the wall, smirks.
Eda: There she is!
She summons her own staff and spins it in a circle. It clatters on the ground. She picks it back up with a roar and sends a burst of energy at Lilith. Lilith grunts and sends one back.
Student: Witches Duel!
Luke: [crosses his arms] (Let's see how this plays out.)
Lilith's blue magic and Eda's orange magic are evenly matched. They explode in a white light. Cut to the entrance to the theater, which Y/n runs out of and looks around. Y/n is trying his best to find where Amity is.
Y/n: [pants] (Where is she?)
Y/n keeps looking until he sees baby dragon flying around a corner so he decides to follow him. What he saw was Amity crying in the corner. He was about to approach her but Zack stopped him.
Zack: Wait let's wait a bit.
Y/n just nods his head and watches.
With baby dragon and Amity. Amity was crying her eyes out. She was so mad. Not only she lost to him but she also was accused of cheating. She didn't know what to do but cried. She then heard something whimpering that forced her to look up. She saw a baby dragon looking at her with sad eyes. When she got a closer look at him she noticed that it was the same dragon that was with Y/n.
Amity: What did your master send you here to gloat!? Well I'm not in the mood so leave me alone!
This makes the dragon back up a little as it whimpers more. Amity sees that the dragon really wasn't trying to make her, it literally wanted to make sure she is ok. Amity picks up the dragon and holds him tight into her arms.
Amity: I'm sorry I'm just so angry right now.
The dragon starts to lick her tears away. This causes Amity to giggle a little as she rubs its back causing it to purr a little.
Amity: You are a cute little guy.
Y/n: He is, isn't he?
Amity turns her head to see Y/n walking up to them. As she sees him she looks down in anger staring at the baby dragon.
Y/n: [looks down at Amity] You know not a lot of people can touch him let alone hold him. Most people who try always say his skin is too hot or receives some type of after burn. I notice that he only lets certain people hold him. [smiles] He must really trust you.
Amity: [annoyed] What do you want?
Y/n: I just wanted to say sorry.
This made Amity really pissed off to the point she got up so fast it caused the baby dragon to hide behind Y/n's legs.
Amity: [yells] You're sorry!? Sorry for what!?
Y/n: [panics] I uh-
Amity: You have no idea what you're sorry for do you!?
Y/n: [looks at her] I no,
Amity: No you don't! Because you have no reason to apologize! I lost to you! I was embarrassed by you!
Y/n: B-but I didn't mean to embarrass you!
Amity: That's all you ever did! You made me look like a fool in front of the Emperor's Coven. My future! You think it's so easy since you're the son of Igneel. I have been working my whole life to get to the top! Meanwhile you came out of nowhere and ruined that for me! You don't belong here dragneel! So say it!
Y/n just looks down with his hair covering his eyes.
Amity: SAY I-
Y/n: [Yells with stars in his eyes] YOUR SO COOL!
This caused both Amity and baby dragon to jump in surprise.
Y/n: Wow this whole time I thought you were just born with natural talent and you were just looking down on others that weren't! But in reality you actually worked hard to achieve your goal.
For all the people confused, Y/n actually stopped listening to Amity after she said she worked her whole life to make it to the top.
Y/n: [gets serious] To be honest with you I'm not really that strong and I know you didn't cheat. [summons some fire in his right hand and holds it in front of Amity]I just can tell.
Amity looks at the fire in amazement.
Cuts back to Eda and Lilith fighting. When Eda's attack stops, she pushes her hand forward, her spell circle turning into a burst of magic. Eda takes a few steps back, spinning and drawing a spell circle on the ground. She lifts her hand, creating a growing pillar of wood that splits Lilith's attack. The pillar bends, its owl face hooting lowly. Lilith stares at it, then teleports away from its approaching beak. Magic starts to head towards the audience as they run and panic, all except for Luke.
Willow: [looks back at Luke] Luke we need to go!?
Luke: Go on ahead I'll be fine.
Willow: B-but-
Gus: [grabs Willow's hand] We have to go!
Gus drags Willow out of the arena as Luke sits and watches the fight. Out of nowhere a blue fire ball is heading towards Luke. Luke watches it with a bored expression.
Luke: (Let's see if this works.)
Luke draws a circle and puts his hand through the circle. Slowly his shadow starts making his way up his body wrapping around his right arm causing it to go full black with claws. Luke catches the fire ball and throws it to the side as it creates a huge explosion.
Luke: [looks at his hand] So shadow manipulation [hand turns back to normal] guess I need to work on it some more.
Little demon: You took a risk there. What if it didn't work?
Luke: Well knowing you, you don't want to die right? So I knew you would lend me some type of strength.
Silence.
Luke: Now then let's see this fight
Two new owl faces extend from the large pillar. Eda draws four more spell circles on the opposite side. Lilith easily teleports away from all of their beaks, destroying one on the ground, then three in the air with a grunt. Eda smirks and spins her staff, creating an orange shield as Lilith hits it with magic and her staff. The shield cracks, but Eda's expression doesn't change. Owlbert's eyes glow. He flies into Lilith's face, interrupting her attack. He hoots and pulls her hair.
Lilith: Ow, ow, ow-ow-ow. Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!
Eda: [drops her shield] Say good night, sister.
She spins her staff and smacks the butt of it into the wooden pillar. A large owl's face forms right next to Lilith, and with a hoot, it captures her in its beak. Owlbert lands back on Eda's staff. She smiles at him, then looks concerned when she sees the flaming hole in the new owl tube's side. Lilith appears directly behind her. Luke smiles but frowns when he feels more magic energy coming behind her.
Lilith: [appears behind Eda] Enough of this.
Eda is thrown into the wall with a scream, leaving a crater. Lilith smirks and spins her staff. Luke just sighs knowing he's teacher lossed because she let down her guard.
Eda: Lily, wait. The curse. [Lilith stops spinning her staff, the gathering magic at her palisman disappearing.] Look at me. Look at my face. The curse is worsening and I can't keep up with it. I don't know how much time I have left.
Lilith: [approaches Eda] I'll admit I was surprised when I first saw you today. And also to find.. His son and Zack's student.
Eda: [slowly gets up] Yea still can't tell who the Kid reminds me of more.
Lilith: [smiles] Agreed.
Eda: I just had to see my sister for... possibly the last time.
Luke looks at the siblings with a smile on his face. Then he sees himself in Lilith and a little girl in the place of Eda.
Luke: (Just like me and you Sally.)
Lilith: Eda, I- [She screams as a bag of Hex Mix is thrown in her face. She stares at it as it hits the ground.]
Eda: [runs out the theatre] It's been fun, but let's call it a draw!
Luke: [facepalms] My teacher Ladies and Gentlemen.
As Lilith was getting aggravated Luke jumps from the stand and starts making his way towards the exit but he stops and tells Lilith something.
Luke: Siblings, am I right?
Lilith: She can be quite troublesome.
Luke: But you still love her nonetheless huh?
Lilith: [looks down and sighs] Regrettably so.
Luke: [smiles] Always love your family [starts walking] you don't know when you'll spend the last moments with them.
Lilith was supposed to ask what the young man said she was about to question him, but he was gone before she could ask. She starts to think about what he said and starts to walk only to trip on the ground. She looks up and sees that her shoes have been tied together.
Lilith: [yells] EDDDAAAAA!
Back to Y/n and Amity. Y/n still had his hand up, that was covered in fire, showing Amity his fire. She was amazed by how bright and warm it was but started to get annoyed by him showing it off.
Amity: What? Just trying to show off again?
Y/n: I still have trouble controlling it.
Amity was shocked to hear this.
Y/n: When I first summoned my fire back when I was a kid I was so amazed of what I could do. Zack helped me get somewhat better control of it and it was working. [looks down] But an incident happened which made me hurt people I really cared for. It was so bad I lost so many things that day and I blamed all of it [looks at his fire] on this. I started hating it, I wanted to disown it but in reality I was scared of it. I was scared that if I use my fire again then I would hurt people, hurt someone I really care for.
Luke and Luz appeared in Y/n head. He saw them screaming in pain as his fire consumed the both of them.
Y/n: [closes his eyes and takes a deep breath] But I realize I can't keep running from it forever. I can't let something so wild hunt me down because if I do it will eventually consume me and force me to hurt the people I care for. [looks at Amity] When I fought you that's when I realized that.
Amity: But why then?
Y/n: I made a promise that I would fight you with all of my strength. This fire is part of me meaning it's also a part of my strength as well. Not using it means I'm going back on my promise and I'll never again break a promise. [closes his fist as his fire disappears] Just because you lost doesn't mean you have to give up on your dreams Amity. Don't let that one loss get you down, learn from it and let it help you grow. As I said before, you can't stay in first place forever. Someone will eventually come and take it from you. But that just means you have to get stronger to get that back.
Amity was taken back by his words as they started to replay in her head.
Y/n: I think you're pretty cool Amity and if you want I want to help you with your dream.
Amity: [shocked] W-what? Why?
Y/n: [eyes go back to normal] Because I feel like we will both become stronger and learn more about each other. [holds his hand out and smiles] What do you say?
Amity just stares at Y/n smile and just looks down at his hand. She just sighs and draws a circle, sticks her hand through it.
Amity: The oath is unbound. [lets Y/n go and stands]
Y/n looks at his hand confused as Amity walks past him.
Y/n: Wait what? [turns around to Amity] Does that mean me and my friends can still learn magic?
Amity: [stops walking with her back still facing Y/n] Your human friends have no magic abilities but I doubt that will stop them from learning. [turns her head] As for you… I'll think about what you said. [starts to walk]
Y/n: Amity wait! [Amity stops] Let's fight again sometime. All out, no tricks. Just the two of us showing our strength.
Amity: [turns her head to look at him then turns back around as a light blush is on her face] I'll give it some thought. And sorry for calling your teacher pathetic.
Amity starts to walk off as Y/n watches. He hears baby dragon barking, he looks at him and picks him up.
Y/n: You really know how to cheer people up don't you little guy?
Luz&King: Y/N!
Y/n looks and sees Luz and King running up to him. Luz runs up and hugs Y/n which makes the baby dragon crawl around Y/n neck, as Y/n just hugs Luz back.
Luz: I'm so glad you're ok. [breaks the hug and looks at Y/n] That was so cool of what you did to! [looks around] Where is Amity?
Y/n: Oh she left, we just had a little chat. [looks up at the ceiling] and I think we are going to be good friends.
Zack: [facepalms] Wrong choice of words buddy.
Y/n: [confused] What wh-
Y/n suddenly felt a weird chill. He turns to Luz and notices a dark aura around her that makes him scared.
Luz: [creepy voice] Sooo what were you two talking about?
Y/n: [sweating and scared] I uhh you see we were just-
King: Enough about that [points to Y/n and baby dragon] you both left us more importantly me!
Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] Yea sorry little buddy you just have such tiny legs.
King: [sighs but smiles] Well I have something for you guys. And it's the best thing, because it's free, comes from my heart, and I always have more than I need.
Luz: [gasp] Is it love?
King: Ugh! No! [reaches behind him] Tote bags! [puts it on Luz's arm and hops in it as she stands] And they have so many uses! Away, fair chariot! Away!
Both Y/n and Luz laugh as baby dragon just looks at it before jumping in himself.
King: Haha even my second in command loves it as well! [baby dragon curls up at the bottom and starts to sleep] hehe it makes him tired.
Luz: Awww so cute!
Y/n: I'm tired myself. [stretches] It has been an eventful day. [looks around] Where is-
Eda: [runs between Y/n and Luz] We gotta go.
Luz: [looks at Eda confused] How'd you get away from Lilith?
Y/n: And where is Luke?
Luke: [walking up to them] Right here.
Luz: Where have you been?
Luke: Ehh been around.
Luz: [deadpan look] Really?
Luke: Yep.
Eda: Anyway to answer your question Luz Let's just say she had a real "snack attack." Hah! [snorts and heads for the door] Wait, I got a better one.
Luke: [shakes his head] Please no.
Luz: [sad] Eda… [Everyone stops and looks at Luz] Do you think I'll ever be a true witch?
Eda: What? I don't know. And who's a true witch? These suckers? According to them, that means being in a coven, but I never joined one and I'm better than all of them combined. You gotta be your own witch.
Luke: Wow that's actually the best advice you have ever given us.
Eda: Hey I give good advice!
Luke: Yea like 'It's not stealing unless you get caught' or 'Rules are meant to be broken' or my favorite one 'It's mine when I lick it'.
Eda: Hey you got to admit that the last one is the best one!
As the two continue to argue Y/n walks up to Luz and pats her back.
Y/n: She's right you know [Luz looks at him] being your own witch which means you'll do it your own way the Luz Noceda way.
Luz starts to smile at what Y/n said but then she starts to frown.
Luz: [sad] Y/n I'm sorry for not believing you before. [looks down] I was scared. I already lost you once I just didn't want to lose you again.
Y/n: Hey it's ok. I forgive you Luz.
Luz: [looks at him] But why?
Y/n: Because in the end you still came back to support me. You came back and still cheered me on. So Luz thanks for that.
Luz just blushed at Y/n words and hugged him tied as both Eda and Luke watched. Then they heard a noise back at the theatre.
Lilith: EDDDAAAAA!
Eda: [sighs and mumbles] Way to ruin the moment sis.
Luke: Alright people let's go home.
Luz: Right. [takes Y/n hand and starts walking out the front door with Y/n close behind]
This made Y/n blush but decided to intertwin his hands with hers. Both Luke and Eda watched the scene and just smiled for the two friends. The group start making their way out of the convention heading home.
In the back of a dressing room we see Lilith struggling to get inside the room. As she tries to get inside she ends up tripping over her shoes, since they are still tied together.
Lilith: [grunts and stands] You make it so hard to want to help you, Edalyn.
As Lilith is looking on top of the dresser she sees an old picture of her, in her teens and a picture of Zack, in his teens with a heart around him. She takes the picture off the stand and looks at it.
Lilith: He does have your personality. Somewhat knowing when to take a fight seriously. [blushes] Still can't figure out how you manage to worm your way into my heart. [smiles] I'm glad you found your living legacy.
Flashback
A teen Lilith is reading a book on potions since she has a test coming up. Even though she knows she got this, a little more studying couldn't hurt. Unknown to her a certain black hair boy is sneaking behind her. He covers her eyes, with her glasses still on her.
Zack: Guess who?
Teen Lilith: [sighs] Really Zack?
Zack: [removes his hand] How did you know?
Teen Lilith: Your voice is a dead give away.
Zack: Aww you remembered my voice [Lilith blushes] does that mean you think about me?
Lilith blushes with embarrassment as she just draws a circle. Another circle appears over Zack as a huge abomination hand is seen crash down on Zack hitting his back. It disappears leaving Zack in a crater twitching.
Zack: [in pain] Oww. Can't feel anything.
Lilith: [blushing] Don't tease me you jerk!
Zack: [slowly starts to get up] But it's so fun your adorable [cracks his back] besides your cute when you blush.
Lilith: [blushes bright red as she buries her face in her book] W-what do you want anyway!?
Zack: Aww do I have to want something to talk to my favorite girl?
Lilith: [holds up a finger] Get to the point or else!
Zack: [sweats and holds up his hands] Ok ok I'll talk just calm down!
Lilith just takes a deep breath and exhales.
Zack: [scratches the back of his head] Geez I keep forgetting not to tease you too much.
Lilith: [death glare] Zack.
Zack: [sweats] Right ok ok! [looks out the window] I wanted to tell you I found out what I want to do now. For my future that is.
Lilith: [curious] Oh really? What is it?
Zack: [smiles and looks at Lilith] I want to teach someone everything I know so they can become my living legacy.
Lilith: Living legacy?
Zack: [nods his head] Yep! I'm going to travel across the lands of the Boiling Isle and try to find someone that will take my teachings and improve them, make them better than I ever could, and use them to make the world a better place.
Lilith: [smiles at Zack's determination] I see. That's actually a pretty great dream.
Zack: hehe thanks Lilith I really hope you can meet him or [goes into her ear and whispers] Maybe we can make one for our own.
Lilith blush bright red as she just stands up and slowly draws a circle.
Zack: [sweats and backs up] W-wait Lilith I-I was just k-k-kidding.
Lilith: You. You!
As she finished drawing a circle a huge abomination was towering above Zack.
Zack: [scared] I-I'm sorry Lilabal?
And that was the death penalty.
Lilith: [blushing bright red] YOU'RE DEAD!
The only thing that could be heard was Zack's screams as the abomination repeatedly beat him down.
Flashback ended
Lilith: [smiles] Probably not the best memory but [hold the picture close to the chest] But I was so happy when you found your dream.
Slowly her smiles start to drop as she remembers what happened when he left to go find his living legacy.
Zack: [arm stretched out] Want to help me find my disciple?
Lilith: If I had taken your hand that day what would the future hold for us?
She was interrupted from her thoughts when her compact mirror started to go off. She gasped and hit the photo in one of the drawers. In the mirror was a demon of diminutive stature and childish proportions. She stands several heads shorter than her subordinates, with three-pronged, taloned appendages similar to those of a fowl. Her left eye has a yellowish sclera and a red pupil, while her right eye is the opposite, with a red sclera and yellowish pupil. Like many of the creatures of the Boiling Isles, her ears are pointed. Her most defining feature, though, are the conjoined hands which make up her hair: one forms a fringe which hides her right eye from view, the other is clenched behind her head to form a bun. This was kikimora.
Kikimora: Lilith, I see you let The Owl Lady get the best of your temper. Just remember what Emperor Belos has promised to you.
Lilith: [nods] I will capture her, ma'am. You have my word.
Kikimora: Very good.
Before the call ends Lilith continues.
Lilith: There is more I want to report ma'am.
Kikimora: What is it?
Lilith: The son of Igneel he is here on the isles.
Silence filled the room until Kikimora finally said something.
Kikimora: Are you positive?
Lilith: Yes ma'am I saw it with my own eye's.
Kikimora: [pause for a brief second] Very well I shall notify the Emperor.
The call ends as Lilith says and takes out the picture.
Lilith: I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me but I must do this Zack. [looks up] your days are numbered, Edalyn.
Lilith sees another picture, the same picture that was on Bump's desk, with Igneels face having a big red X on it.
Lilith: [glares] And yours as well dragon slayer.
