6. Chapter 6

Hooty Moving Castle

It's been a few days since the events that took place at the convention and our friends have been relaxing a bit.

Y/n: [pants] *huff* *huff* I think I'm *huff* getting better.

Well some of them have been relaxing for a bit. Right now in the forest Y/n is practicing on how to control his fire without getting angry or relying on luck. He asks Zack's spirit if he can help him out just like the old day's.

Zack: [appears beside Y/n] Hmmmm… I don't know if better is the word I would use.

Y/n: [looks at Zack shocked] What? Why?

Zack: [points] Wellll.

Y/n looks at where Zack is pointing and sees three apples that have been burnt to ashes. See Y/n need some way to practice and Zack suggests he should start off small and try to only burn the leaves on top of the apples first. But so far Y/n has been burning the entire apple and almost set the forest on fire… again.

Y/n: [falls on his back] Ahhh! [puts his hands on his face] I've been at this for hours and I still haven't made any improvement.

Zack: I wouldn't say that either. You didn't set the forest on fire this time.

Y/n: [sighs and stretches his hands out] You're right about that.

Zack: [sits beside Y/n] Remember what I said it takes time for you to master anything. That's why you have to train and practice to get better at it.

Y/n: [sits up and smiles] Right Ok lets do it.

Zack: That's the spirit. Now we need 3 more apples.

Y/n: [groans] Can't you get it?

Zack gives Y/n a 'are you serious' look. He then flies over to a nearby tree and tries to touch it only for his hand to faze right through it.

Y/n: [chuckles nervously] Oh right can't touch anything. [gets up off the ground] I'll be right back.

Y/n runs off into the woods and looks for more apples as Zack watches him

Zack: [sighs] You are something else Y/n. [looks at the sky] Still though I never thought I would have to teach you again. Won't lie the determination in your eye still hasn't changed.

Flashback

Y/n was in his room staring at the moonlight thinking about the events that had played out at the convention. He needed to become stronger so he turned to the person that could help him.

Y/n: [picks up the keychain] Hey Zack you awake?

Zack: [appears] *yawns* I am now.

Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] Hehe Sorry. Wait, do spirits sleep?

Zack: [rubs his eyes] Ehh sometimes. Maybe? Honestly I really don't know. I do it because I have nothing better to do.

Y/n: Huh, well ok then.

Zack: [scretches] Anyway what did you call me here for?

Y/n: Oh right I need your help.

Zack: [confused] Ok for what?

Y/n: Can you train me like the old days?

Zack: What?

Y/n: Look I know Eda is doing her best but to be honest I'm not really learning much from her. Only how to pickpocket people and break rules. I want to get stronger and learn how to control my fire a lot better. [bows his head] Please teach me just like the old days.

Zack stared at Y/n and saw the same fire in his eyes before he bowed his head. It was the same fire he once saw when he was alive.

Zack: [smiles] Ok.

Y/n: [looks up] Really!?

Zack: sure but remember [crosses his arms] I wasn't really too good at fire magic back when I was alive. But I did learn a thing or two about it from Igneel so I guess that can help get you on the right path.

Y/n: YES! Thanks Zack you're the best!

Luke: [annoyed] Y/n I'm trying to sleep over here! So keep it down!

Y/n covers his mouth. He completely forgot that he and Luke shared a room together.

Zack: [chuckles] We'll begin training in the morning.

Y/n: [whispers] Right thanks again Zack.

Flashback Ended

Zack: [smiles] Some things never change.

Y/n: I'm back!

Zack turns his hand and sees Y/n carrying three apples.

Y/n: I think it's getting harder and harder to find some.

Zack: I wouldn't be surprised. You have been burning a lot of them.

Y/n: [scratches the back of his head] I have haven't I?

Y/n starts to set the apples up on the ground all beside each other from left to right. He walks over to a nearby tree facing them with his hand out. Zack was watching from afar.

Zack: Remember there are other ways besides anger to summon fire. You have to remember those emotions you felt when you summon it during your fight with Amity. Use that and control it.

Y/n: [closes his eyes] Remember the other emotions.

Y/n was trying to remember the emotions he felt before. When he first used his fire it was anger and fear. Anger was due to the fact someone hurt the people he cares about, fear is when he thought it would hurt him or kill others. But when he fought Amity he felt brave, confident, and calm. Yes, he tries to remember the feeling of being calm.

Slowly a fireball started to appear in Y/n hand.

Zack: (Yes that's it you getting closer Y/n)

Y/n continues to feel the calm from his fire then eventually opens his eyes and releases it on the apples. The fire starts to consume the apples slowly melting them.

Y/n: [falls to the ground] Darn it I was so close that time.

Zack: [floats over to Y/n] Yea when you let go of your fire at the last second you started to feel frustrated that you would lose control of it. [lifts a finger] You have to remember to always keep calm no matter what.

Y/n nods his head as he continues to look at the sky repeating the words calm in his head. Zack looks at Y/n then looks back at the apples and notices something. One of the apples in the middle, its leaf is the only thing that's on fire while the others have been burnt to a crisp instead of being burnt to ashes.

Zack: (He is getting better though.)

Y/n: [sits up] Ok lets keep going.

Zack: Let's take a break for now. Pushing the body too hard will give you the opposite effect of what you want.

Y/n: [sighs] Yea I guess you're right. [looks at the sky]

As Zack was staring at Y/n he noticed he had a bandaid on his left cheek.

Zack: Hey Y/n [points to his bandaid] What with the bandaid? Didn't you get healed up by Eda?

Y/n: [looks at Zack] Oh this [touches the bandaid] It's a reminder.

Zack: [confused] For what?

Y/n: Remind me I have to keep my promise to Amity. [look at the sky] I promised her that I'll help her achieve her dream. So I keep this here to remind me of that and also [looks at Zack] to remind myself that the two of us still need to do a rematch.

Zack: Huh, interesting. She really left an impact on you huh Y/n?

Y/n: Hehe yep.

Zack: [sly smile] You sure have been thinking about her a lot too. Are you sure you don't like her?

Y/n: [deadpan look] Haha Zack I don't like her. I just think her dream to join the emperor's covent is cool. The way she said she works hard to reach it is also admirable. The way she's able to take nothing from no one is - Oh wow I am not helping my case am I?

Zack: [smirks] Nah you are keep going.

Y/n: [gets up] Look how can I like Amity I already like Luz. [realizes what he just said and blushes] I er.

Zack: Pffffttt! [laughs] Well that came out of nowhere! HAHAHA!

Y/n: [grumbles] Really Zack?

Zack: [wipes a tear off] Sorry sorry just wasn't expecting that. [coughs] But anyway there is nothing stopping you from liking both of them.

Y/n just blushes at the thought of dating both Amity and Luz.

Y/n: [shakes his head blushing] Look let's just get back to training.

Zack: Aye aye Mr. Stud.

Y/n: [facepalms] Really?

The scene changes to a dark cave and zooms inside. What we see now is someone running around breaking rocks and blasting dark energy blasts all over the place. As the figure finally stops and stands in the middle of the cave, it takes a knee panting heavily. As a clear image starts to form we see that the figure is Luke panting on the ground.

Luke: [panting] *huff* Ok *huff* I'm starting *huff huff* to get the hang of this now.

Luke slowly starts to get up and draws a dark circle on the ground. As he does this he's shadow slowly starts to come out and behind to mold into an exact copy of Luke. The shadow gets into a fighting stance and Luke does the same.

Luke: [smirks] No better opponent than myself. Now let's go!

The two rush each other and start to exchange blows. Luke begins to gain the upper hand on his shadow as he is slowly pushing him back with a barrage of attacks. Luke then sees an opening and punches his shadow in the face and continues to punch him. Luke then side kicks his shadow to a nearby wall and then fires a dark energy blast at him. The copy sees this and goes into his shadow to avoid it as an explosion is caused, making dust fly everywhere in the cave. Luke starts to look around for the copy but notices he can't see.

Luke: (Can't rely on my eye sight need to sense him out)

Luke closes his eyes and tries to feel his shadows' magic energy. After a couple of seconds past Luke finds his shadows energy as he fires another dark blast at him. The copy escapes out of the shadow just in time and charges at Luke with a barrage of attacks. Luke was having trouble keeping up and ended up letting his guard down. That's when he's copy punched him in the face and slammed him on the ground. He was about to go for an axe kick but Luke jumped out just in time and started backflipping out of the way. As soon as Luke landed back on his feet the shadow was already in front of him as he gut punched Luke right in the stomach. Luke coughed up blood but instantly punched his shadow right back. The two kept doing that over and over again. Eventually Luke punches his shadow so hard that his hand went right through and Luke fired a dark energy blast right through his shadow. The dust starts to clear as Luke is seen panting heavily and kneeling down on one knee again.

Luke: *huff* Man *huff* That was *huff huff* intense.

Suddenly Luke's heart starts to beat fast as the darkness around him slowly starts to consume him.

Luke: [panics] Damn it not again! [reaches into his pocket] Come on come on where is- [feels a piece of paper] Yes there it is!

Luke takes out a paper with a light glyph on it and taps it. The paper slowly starts to form into a ball of light and begins to push the darkness away from Luke. Luke falls to the ground panting heavily as he stares at the ball of light.

Luke: To think a light so small can keep a huge darkness from taking control of me.

Luke gets up and holds the ball of light in his right hand as he slowly starts to make his way out the cave. As he approaches the exit the darkness that was still around him begins to disappear as it was making contact with the light from the sun. Luke stands outside of the cave as he enjoys the view from the top.

Luke: [sits on the edge] Funny how this place can be really creepy and disgusting, but it somehow has a great view.

As Luke was enjoying it a certain demon decided to bother him.

Little Demon: Enjoying the view I see.

Luke: [sighs] What do you want?

Little Demon: What, I can't just talk to you?

Luke: [rolls his eyes] Whatever.

Little Demon: So finally taking my advice and training I see.

Luke: I find it better for me to use the dark power within me instead of just sitting there waiting for it to run while.

Little Demon: Kehehe you sure there isn't any other reason why you are trying to use it?

Silence.

Little Demon: You're trying to master this power so you can use it against me right?

All Luke did was just grunt in response.

Little Demon: Kehe trying to use darkness to defeat darkness is not a bad idea. Unfortunately it will only end in failure.

Luke: We'll see about that.

Little Demon: [fades away] Yes we will.

As his voice starts to fade Luke just stares back at the horizon. He then looks down at the necklace around his neck and squeezes it.

Luke: I promise I won't lose anyone ever again.

Luke gets up and starts making his way back to the house.

The scene changes to Y/n walking back to the owl house, along the way he sees Luke all beat up.

Y/n: [walks up to Luke] Hey Luke!

Luke: [turns his head] Oh hey Y/n.

Y/n: [scans Luke] Geez man What happened to you?

Luke: [looks at himself] Oh just a little training.

Y/n: [sweats] uhh don't you think you overdid it a bit?

Luke: I could say the same to you. [Covers his nose] I can smell burnt fire all on you.

Y/n: [sweats] Oh thought the smell was gone.

Luke: Yea no.

Y/n just chuckles nervously as both him and Luke make their way to the owl house. As they approach the house hooty scratches his head towards them.

Hooty: [in Luke's face] Oh Luke your back I missed you soo much where did you go!?

Luke: [eye twitches] I was out Hooty.

Hooty: Aww glad to see you back.

Luke: (I swear I'm going to kill him.)

Y/n: [chuckles] Glad to see you guys getting along.

Luke: [glares at Y/n] Define getting along.

They both start to walk up to the door until they hear Hooty say something.

Hooty: Oh right quick warning good luck.

Y/n&Luke: Wait what?

The front door opens to reveal a worried and angry Luz.

Luz: WHERE HAVE YOU TWO BEEN!?

Both Y/n and Luke froze as soon as they saw Luz standing there with her arms crossed. If Y/n and Luke knew one thing, a worried and angry Luz means a bad time for the two boys.

Luz: I woke up this morning and went into your room and saw that the both of you weren't there! I have been worried sick for the both of you! [walks around them and notices they have dirt, cuts, and bruises around them] And what the heck happened to both of you anyway!? Did you two get into a fight or did you end up fighting each other!?

As Luz was busy ranting and scanning the both of them both Y/n and Luke sweat drop and whisper to each other.

Y/n: Right I forgot that she gets like this.

Luke: Yep like that one time we came back from dealing with some bullies.

Y/n: Oh boy was she worried.

Luke: And pissed.

Luz: [gets in their face] Are you two even listening to me!?

Both Y/n and Luke flinch when they hear that.

Luz: [points her finger to the house] You both are going upstairs and getting healed up now!

Luke: [raises his finger] Now wait just a-

Luke stopped mid sentence when he noticed a dark aura around Luz.

Luz: Upstairs. Now.

Though she said it in a calm manner they both can tell she was going to hurt them way worse then what they did to themselves.

Y/n&Luke: [stands at attention] Yes ma'am!

Both Y/n and Luke ran upstairs into their room. Luz just sighs in response as Eda walks outside.

Eda: Geez kid didn't know you had it in yea to do that.

Luz: [sighs] Well someone has to make sure those two don't end up getting themselves killed.

Eda: [pats her back] I hear you on that.

Timeskip

After what happened downstairs, the group was now in the living room, all cleaned up, because Eda wanted to show them something. Right now Eda and Owlbert are playing a card game with everyone else watching them. Eda was shuffling her hand and the eyes on the back of the cards looked up at her. Owlbert was wearing a green visor, neared his eyes at her and hoots.

Eda: Watch closely, kids. Hexes Hold'em is the most tricky game on the Boiling Isles. Any proper witch knows how to play.

Luke: Huh a normal card game. (How can it be ruined?)

Luz: Oh boy, cards! The paper rectangles that old people think are fun!

Y/n couldn't help but chuckle at Luz's statement. Eda puts a card down on the table. Lightning comes from the cards, sending Owlbert flying for cover behind the side of the table. The cards all stand and roar. Owlbert's surge forward and attack Eda's, making Owlbert smirk.

Luke: (There it is.)

Eda: Now when it looks like the deck is stacked against you, that's when you break out the wildcard.

She holds up a card with a tower on it. It glows green, and Owlbert's cards disappear in a flash of fire. Fiery letters spelling out "WINNER: EDA '' appear and disappear over the table. Owlbert hops back on and hoots at Eda, his wings extended.

Y/n: [amazed] That was so cool.

Luke: Nothing spells kill like overkill.

Eda: Woo, I win! In your adorable owl face. Ah, I love the feeling of victory; it feels...fluffy? [feathers are growing from her arms]

Luke: Uh-oh.

Everyone stares at Eda with worry and caution in their eyes.

Luz: Eda it's happening again.

Eda: [confused] What? What's happening again?

Y/n&King: You're curse it's returning!

Luke: You did take your potion didn't you!? [looks at herself and yelps. Luke facepalms] I'll take that as a no.

The scene changes to the group in Eda's room as they wait for Eda to open the chest that has her potions inside. As soon as Eda opens the box everyone looks inside to see four empty bottles of potion.

Eda: Oh boy. This is terrible. I'm out of elixir.

Y/n: That ain't good.

Luke: How the hell did you forget to buy more?

Eda: I've been, busy kid.

Luke: [deadpan look] Uh-huh.

Luz: Uh, last time this happened, you turned into this thing. [holds up her phone, a picture of the Owl Beast on screen]

Eda: I know I should be repulsed, but that look is fierce

Luke: And you almost killed Y/n.

Eda: Hey, so did you.

Luz: Eda!

Eda: You're right, you're right. We need to head to the market.

Y/n&Luz: Market!

They both start to get up and cheer.

King: [follows them] I'm stealing everything that's not nailed down!

Luke: [follows them] Of course you would King.

Eda: Before we go, would anyone like to play one more hand of Hexes Hold'em? [pats her pocket] Hey, where are my cards?

Unknown to Eda, Luke had drawn a dark circle and had his shadow hand pickpocket her and take her cards that he was holding behind his back.

Luke: [looks at Owlbert] Take this [gives the cards to Owlbert] I'm pretty sure she will follow after you.

Owlbert takes the cards, hoots, and flies on ahead. Eda sees this and chases after him.

Eda: Owlbert, you sore loser, gimme back my cards!

The group looks at Luke as Luke looks back at them.

Luke: What?

Luz: That was actually surprising of you Luke.

Luke: [scretches] Well if you hang out with a couple of people you pick up a thing or two.

Y/n: [confused] Wait but we-

Luke: [starts walking] Lets go before she catches up to owlbert.

The others watch Luke go on ahead as they try to figure out what kind of people Luke was hanging out with to get him to do that.

Luke: (The last thing I need is for those two to meet the other two. I will lose more brain cells.)

The scene changes to another day in Bonesborough. As a giant winged dragon flies past the town. Eda, with her cowl on her head, approaches the stand that has " '' as the title, and starts to bang on it. Y/n, Luz, baby dragon, and King are sitting on the bench waiting as Luke is leaning on one of the buildings with his arms crossed.

Eda: Hey, open up, Morton!

Morton: Uh, ju-...just a minute!

Luz: Is there anything better than people watching in the Demon Realm?

Luke: I could think of a couple of things.

Three witches are standing at a bus stop as a giant egg rolls up to it. The egg cracks, revealing a featherless bird that screeches. It flies away. The witches enter the egg, one of them closes it, and it rolls off as Tiny Nose runs up.

Tiny Nose: Wait, wait! Aw, dang it.

Luz: The curse of tiny legs.

King: I know the pain.

Luke: [smirks] You would wouldn't you?

King just glares at Luke as the others just chuckle. As this was happening the Tiny Nose demon looked down in sadness until a sound of heavy footsteps caused her to look up and run in a panic. What made her run was a large witch with a dark cloak. He turns his head and signals the others to follow him. The group follows him while pushing a cart with a large demon on it. The other's get up and walk over towards Eda.

Luz: Whoa, that is one ominous parade.

Luke: If that's a parade I hate to see what it passes out as candy.

Eda: That's no parade. Those are demon hunters.

The demon growls and bucks. The two demon hunters pushing the cart pull its ropes to pin it back down. It tries to bite at the first demon hunter.

Eda: Dangerous nomads who capture and sell the most powerful beasts.

The first demon hunter traces a spell circle, creating lightning in his hand. He grunts as he shocks the demon unconscious. He turns and looks at Luz then looks at the baby dragon on Y/n's head. This made Luz feel uneasy as she back's up a bit, and baby dragon is scared as he holds onto Y/n's head. Y/n and Luke just glare back at the demon hunter, as he turns his head and walks off.

Eda: ...Which I'm about to become if you don't open up, Morton! [continues knocking on the grate]

Morton: [opens the grate] Sorry, Eda! I was up all night poison tasting and for some reason I don't feel great.

Luke: [baffled] D-do you think it has something to do with what you tasted?

Morton: [thinks for a minute] Do you think it was the poison I tasted?

Luke: I-I y-you Yes! What else could it be!?

Eda: [hits Luke in the back of his head. Luke "Ow!'] Anyway [pulls out an empty bottle] I'm all outta my juice, pal.

Morton: Oh, gee. Lemme see what I can do.

Morton ducks down and digs around, rattling bottles. The demon hunters continue on, revealing Willow and Gus, looking dejected, behind the demon.

Y/n: [points] Hey guys is that-

Luz: [excited] Willow and Gus!

The group walks up to Willow and Gus.

Luke: [two finger salute] Sup guys [notice their sad faces] Esh you two ok?

Y/n: Yea you guys seem sad.

Luz: Who hurt my babies?

Willow: [points] Them.

The group turns their heads and sees Amity with a group of three other girls laughing. The first girl is Skara, a young witch with a dark brown skin tone, eyes with gray irises, pointy ears, and hair that comes in tones of pinkish-gray and deep mauve held up in a ponytail. The next girl is Cat, dark skin and brown wavy hair with a side bang, and like all witches, she has pointed ears. She wears squared glasses with black frames over her brown eyes and has a red lower lip. The last girl is Bosha, a slender figure with pink skin, gray-blue eyes, and violet hair tied back in a bun. She has pointy ears and a third eye on her forehead.

Willow: Amity's having a moonlight conjuring and inviting everyone but me.

Gus: And she keeps posting about it on her Penstagram account. [Summons his scroll, open to Amity's Penstagram post of her and her friends posing.]

Luz: "It's a conjuring night! No dorks allowed"? What a jerk! [scowls for a second]

Luke: (Penstagram really?)

Y/n: [confused] What's a moonlight conjuring?

Willow: You spend the night at someone's house, telling stories, playing games…

Luz: Like a slumber party! We have those a lot!

Y/n: Yea those were always fun.

Luke: I'm sensing a catch to all of this. [Y/n and luz look at Luke confused]

Willow: [pulls out a book] Then you bring something to life with moon magic!

A moment of silence passed.

Luke: So a weird slumber party got it. (Why can't things just be normal in this world for once?)

Willow: Gus and I have never been to one. You need at least three people and-

Luz: Well with all of us it makes 5 and we're way better than them!

Y/n: [pumps his fist in the air] Heck yea!

Everyone looks at Luke.

Luke: [sighs and lazily raises his hand] Yea.

Luz: We need to work on your spirit.

Luke was about to say something until they heard Amity's group come up laughing.

Bosha: Sorry you couldn't get an invite to the conjuring, Willow. [looks at Amity] Only real witches allowed.

Amity: [sighs] Leave her alone. It's not her fault she was born without talent.

Willow looks down in sadness as she balls her hand into a fist as she slowly gets mad. Luke sees this and was about to walk up to the group until Y/n beats him.

Y/n: Well guess what! [everyone looks a Y/n] We are going to have our own conjuring and it is going to be [fire starts appear in his hand] lit!

There was a moment of silence as everyone just stared at a smiling Y/n, who was proud of the joke he just made. Luke facepalms and starts to walk up to Y/n.

Luke: [grabs Y/n shoulder] Y/n.

Y/n: [looks at Luke] Yea.

Luke: I am reluctantly your friend right?

Y/n: [confused] Uhh I think so?

Luke: And as your friend I have to tell you. That was bad.

Y/n: How bad was it?

Luke: So bad I want to punch you to the moon type of bad.

Y/n: [scratches the back of his head and chuckles nervously] hehe that bad huh.

Boscha: Well anyway [walks up to Luke] Those losers might not be invited but maybe [gets in his face] we can have you come handsome.

Luke just stared at boscha with a bored expression. Call it weird but the eye or well eyes can tell a lot about a person and what Luke saw was something strange about the girl.

Luke: [sighs] Yea well [gently pushes her back with his index finger and walks back to willow, turns his head slightly and brushes off a piece of his hair] Not interested.

Everyone minus Y/n, Gus, Luz, and Amity blushed of what Luke just did. While Luke is somewhat cursing at himself of what he did.

Boscha: [blushing] W-w-well fine then be that way. (What the hell!? Why is my heart beating so fast!?)

Amity, who was unimpressed, just walked up to Luke.

Amity: Martins right?

Luke: I mean you can just call me by my first name.

Amity: [rolls her eyes and takes out a piece of paper] My "associates".

Luke: (Don't want to say siblings. For some reason I feel that.)

Amity: Wanted me to give you this.

Luke: [takes the piece of paper] Thanks. [smirks and whispers] mittens.

This causes Amity to blush with embarrassment and begins to walk off, signaling her group to follow her.

Bosha: [turns her head] Call me!

Luke just looks at her and then looks at the piece of paper that he received and opens it, what it said was he was invited to a moonlight conjuring with Edric and Emira signature at the bottom. It also showed him where to go just in case he accepted. Luke puts the paper away in his pocket as he just thinks until Willow walks up to him.

Willow: That was pretty cool, you know.

Luke: [looks at Willow] Thanks don't know what possessed me to do that.

Y/n: Hey what about me?

Willow: Oh uhh well-

Luke: You told a bad joke and made yourself look more like an idiot.

This made Y/n lower his hand in sadness. Luz walks over and rubs his back to make him feel better.

Luz: I thought it was funny.

Y/n: [glom] But you didn't laugh though.

Luz: It took me a while to get it?

Y/n just sighs in sadness as baby dragon and Luz tries to cheer him up.

Luke: Anyway are we going to do this conjuring thing or not?

Gus: Are you serious? This was on my bucket list. [pulls it out and checks it off] After owning a real human bucket!

Luke: [confused] What?

Luz: That's a really weird thing to want, but I appreciate your enthusiasm. We'll go tell Eda.

Back with Eda and Morton

Morton: I've got bad news and good news. Bad news is I'm all out 'till next week. Good news is feathers are a good look for you.

Eda: [more feathers grow] Morton [several feathers flutter to the ground]

Morton: Well gee, E. Why'd you wait to re-up 'till now?

Eda [crosses her arms] I've been very busy.

King: [from the bench] Yeah, busy playing Hexes Hold'em. She's obsessed with it.

Eda: [offended] I am not!

King: You're playing it right now!

Eda: [Several cards are now splayed out on the counter, and Eda has one in hand.] … Am I winning?

Morton: You know, I wouldn't suggest this to just anybody, but if you need your elixir you can try your luck later this evening.

Eda: [gasp] The night market.

Morton: There's a guy with a stand, goes by Grimm Hammer; if anyone has what you need, it's him.

Luz: Eda! Gus, Y/n, Luke, Willow and I are gonna do a moonlight conjuring and stick it to Amity. So can we-

Eda: [grabs her staff and starts walking] Not tonight, I'm going out. I need you three to watch the house, I have many precious objects in there.

King: Like me! [Eda picks him up] Whoa!

Eda: You're coming with me. I need an extra pair of eyes looking out for pickpockets, and an extra pair of hands in case I want to pickpocket.

Eda&King: Pickpocket!

Luke: [facepalms] Our teacher ladies and gentlemen.

Luz: Then, maybe they can come to the house and-

Eda: No! Besides, conjurings are dumb; sitting in a circle holding hands. Pft. It's like magic for babies. [walks away]

Luke: Is it wrong that I want to remind her that everything she does is the equivalent of a baby?

Y/n: Really Luke?

Luke: What just saying.

Willow: Guys!

The group hears Willow and Gus run up to them as they turn around and face them.

Willow: What did Eda say?

Luz: So… Guys…

Gus: Oh, look! [points upwards] The moon is rising into place. And the celestial powers only align once a year.

Willow: Oh, I can't believe I finally have enough friends for a moonlight conjuring! Thank you, guys! Did Eda say it was okay?

Both Y/n and Luz looked at each other with worried faces as Luke just looked at them and sighs.

Y/n: [rubs his arm] Well you see Eda said-

Luz: Yes! [shocking Y/n] She said yes. We can do it at the Owl House. As long as we don't make a mess or touch anything and never bring up that we did it! [nervous laugh]

Luke: [facepalms] Oh god damn it Luz.

Gus: [excited] Yes!

Willow: Oh, you're the best!

Y/n&Luke: [grabs Luz arms] Can you excuse us real fast?

They dragged Luz a little further from Willow and Gus and questioned her.

Y/n: Luz what are you doing?

Luz: I don't know I panic, besides you heard how excited they are.

Luke: You do realize we're not only lying to them but we also are lying to Eda who I'm pretty sure will literally eat us alive.

Luz: It'll be fine, all we have to do is bring something to life and pretend nothing ever happened.

Both Y/n and Luke was about to say something until

Luz: Unless you both want to give them the disappointing news?

They stopped and looked at a happy Willow and Gus.

Luke: Gus I can break the news too but a sad Willow is something I don't feel like dealing with. [sighs] Fine.

Y/n: Still not comfortable with lying to them but I can't bring myself to let them down [smiles with a thumb up] Ok then let's do it!

The scene changes late at night in the owl house with everyone in the living room. Y/n was playing with baby dragon on the floor, Luz was sitting on the couch and Luke was looking out the window trying to figure out what to do. They all turned their heads and saw Eda getting ready to leave.

Eda: Luke, you're in charge while I'm out. [puts cloak on] Make sure Hooty and the two love birds don't get into any trouble.

Both Y/n and Luz blush when Eda said that, causing her to laugh.

Y/n: How come Luke gets to be in charge anyway? [Luz nods her head in agreement]

Hooty: [door opens] Yea we don't need a babysitter. We are a big boy, girl and house.

Luke: [sighs] May I remind all of you that you three get into more trouble combined.

All three of them: Name one time.

Luke: [points to Luz] The Adegust incident. [points to Y/n] Nearly burning down the entire forest. [points at Hooty] There are so many that i'm going to name the time when you struggle to catch a fly nearly destroying me and Y/n room.

All three of them went mute and looked around pouting.

Eda: point proven.

Luke: [sighs] I'll make sure things go ok.

Luz: [walks up to them] Don't worry Eda we'd never betray your hard-earn trust!

Y/n: [walks up] Yea it's not like we had something planned either!

Luke: [buries his head in his hands] Why?

Eda: You two acting suspicious. You're doing that thing where you hide in your hoodie.

Y/n&Luz: [has their hoodies on closed] No/Meow we're not!

Luke: (Oh for the love of) Anyway where did King go? I thought he was going with you.

Eda: [opens her cloak to reveal a sleeping King] His little body just conks out when he's weightless. Look at this. [She moves side to side, King not waking as he moves like a ragdoll.]

Luz: Aww he is so dangly!

Luke: [smirks] The King of demons by the way.

Baby dragon just chirps in response.

Eda: [walks out] Well I better get going oh and kids [menacing voice] .if you mess up the house, I will never trust you again. [looks at Luke] Especially you Luke. [lighter tone] No pressure! Bye!

Eda gets on the staff and flies away as the other watches and waves.

Luke: Is it too late to cancel the conjuring?

Luz: Yep. [whispers] Alright she's gone.

Willow: Release!

The two bushes glow and explode, revealing both Willow and Gus wearing different clothes.

Willow: I'm a sneaky sneakster!

Gus: I've got leaves in my pants… and I like it.

Luke: [facepalms] I really need new friends.

Y/n: Glad you guys can make it, let's have some fun.

They all cheered and turned towards Luke but noticed him walking away.

Luz: Hey Luke where are you going?

Luke: [sighs] I got invited to another conjure and I'm reluctantly going to that one.

Y/n: What!? Don't tell me you're going to Amity's conjuring!?

Everyone looked hurt, especially Willow.

Luke: What? Oh heck no. That girl couldn't pay me enough snails for me to go there.

Everyone sighs with relief.

Willow: Then where are you going?

Luke: I made a promise to a few… frieeends [deadpan look] Yea friends let me not stretch it. I told them we would hang out and I gave my word that I would.

Willow: Oh. [looks down in sadness] I see.

Luke sees this and sighs. He walks over and hugs Willow causing her to blush.

Luke: I promise we can hang out next time, little flower.

Willow: [blushes] R-right. Y-yea thanks.

Luke hears some aww's and turns his head and sees both Y/n and Luz with sly smiles watching.

Y/n: Aww Luke look at you being nice.

Luz: Seems like someone has a crush.

Gus: [confused] Wait what's going on?

Luke: [lets go of willow and walks off] Willow you're in charge to make sure these two [points to Y/n and Luz] don't have a secret make out session.

This caused both Y/n and Luz to blush and give Luke a death glare as he responded with a smirk and walked off.

Luke: [from the distances] Have fun you guys!

Everyone watches Luke walk off into the distance.

Y/n: Well now that that's over with let's go inside. [walks inside]

Gus: [walks behind Y/n] I'm still confused about what just happened.

Y/n: Try not to think about it.

Luz was about to follow but saw Willow looking in the same direction that Luke walked in with her hands over her heart .

Luz: [taps Willow's shoulder] you comin Willow?

Willow: [breaks out of her trance] Huh? Oh. Yea I am.

Luz: [worried] You ok?

Willow: Yes it's just. [looks down] I just don't think it will be the same without Luke.

Luz: Aww don't worry Willow will have so much fun it will make Luke jealous.

This caused Willow to look at Luz with a smile.

Luz: [sly smirk] Besides he did promise to spend some 'alone' time with you anyway.

This causes Willow to blush and shake her head as Luz just laughs.

Willow: W-well he also told me to make sure you and Y/n aren't secretly making out.

This caused Luz to blush and Willow to giggle.

Luz: [grumbles] Toche.

As both Willow and Luz were walking inside Hooty started talking.

Hooty: Company! Hooray! Finally someone to listen to my stories! Okay, one time, a sparrow flew into my mouth, and then I- [door closes] Hey.. [coughs up a sparrow, as it flies away chirping]

Luz: Welcome to

Y/n&Luz: The Living Room!

Luz: We call it that because it's technically living! The walls are breathing, look.

The walls start to move with heavy breaths.

Y/n: [sweat drop] Still creepy.

Willow: [amazed] Enchanting.

Gus: [rummaging through a chest] And look at all these human treasures. [pulls out a skull] And actual humans!

Y/n: [whispers] Oh I still hope that's just a decoration.

Luz: We've got snacks, we've got weird music! [She puts the needle down on a gramophone, which produces an evil cackle.]

Gus: [Gus walks up to her with a bucket on his head.] We got Buckets!

Y/n: Heck yea!

Willow: And best of all we have actual friends to do the conjuring with! This is so exciting!

Y/n: So how does this conjuring work?

Willow: Well first, we find something to animate. Since it's our first time we should pick something meaningful. [walks over to some flowers] Something beautiful.

Gus: [bursts through the flowers with an action figure] Like this strangely buff little man? [taps the figure's stomach]

Beef: I'm half beef, half Bob

Luz: Yes! Perfect!

Willow: That's not exactly what I meant by "beautiful". [Gus lowers the action figure, whimpering and looking hurt.]

Y/n: [puts his hand on Willows shoulder] Let's bring this to life then we can bring the plant to life next. Ok?

Willow: [sighs but smiles] Okay, buff boy it is.

Luz: [hugs Willow] Yes!

Gus: Tonight he shall rise!

Y/n just chuckles at everything that was going on.

Zack: Ahh nothing beats the moment between friends

Y/n: Yea. Hey Zack, have you done one of these before?

Zack: [sweats] You could say that.

Y/n: Oh really how did it go?

Zack: Uhhhh [hears screaming in his head] Goooood I think.

Y/n: [confused] Ooook?

Gus: Uh Y/n [Y/n turns his head towards Gus] who are you talking to?

Y/n: Uh no one. Let's get this conjuring started.

Everyone just looked at each other and shrugged as they began to set up for the conjuring. The moon was rising in the sky. Gus puts Beefy Bob on the ground between the four of them as they sit in a square formation. There were also several lit candles around them as well.

Willow: According to the conjuring books I've read, we say the incantation and make a connection with the doll.

The group nodded and started to hold hands and closed their eyes.

Gus: Figurine.

Willow&Gus: Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight take this chance. Moonlight come tie the string. Moonlight start the dance!

Y/n&Luz: Moonlight tie... string... and I don't know the words!

Zack: [rubs the back of his head] Probably should have told them there were words [the keychain starts to glow] Whoa! What the-

The moon continues rising. Hooty looks up at it. The moon stops moving, and a burst of blue light comes out of it. A similar burst of blue light bursts out from between Y/n, Willow, Luz, and Gus, spreading around the living room and extinguishing the candles. They all open one eye and look at Beefy Bob.

Gus: [whispers] That's your cue little man.

Nothing happened.

Y/n: Uhh is that supposed to-

Suddenly the entire house begins to shake and Hooty's eyes begin to glow blue. Birds fly away from the house while cawing. The foundation cracks as the Owl House rises. The four kids and baby dragon scream as they lose their balance. The Owl House stops rising, now standing on giant bird legs. Cut to the living room, now in great disarray.

Y/n: Uhh [gets hit in the head by a book] Ow! What just happened?

Luz: Did the entire house just hiccup!?

Gus: Little buff guy, what did you do?

Beef Bob: A real man never takes accountability!

Willow: Guys I think- I think we animated the whole house by accident.

Y/n&Luz: The house!

Y/n runs outside to check but as soon as he opens the door he almost falls off. He grabs the ledge just in time before he fell off.

Luz: [yells] Y/N!

Luz runs outside and pulls Y/n back up onto the edge as both Gus and Willow ran outside. Soon the house begins to walk, making everyone scream in a panic. The door behind them shouts as Hooty begins to make ghostly noises.

Luz: [runs up to the door] Hooty? Hooty! Hooty you have to stop!

Hooty: By the power of moonlight, I have risen. Hoot hoot.

Gus: He's inside some kind of trance!

The house then walks past some trees which cause everyone to lose their balance. Gus and Willow almost fell off until Y/n and Luz were able to grab them just in time.

Y/n: How did this happen!?

Willow: Our magic must've spread through the house instead of the doll!

Gus: Figurine!

Y/n: Now is not the time Gus!

The group almost fell but Y/n and Luz grabbed each other's hands for balance as they all began to glow. They all looked up and saw that Hooty was heading for a cliffed.

Y/n: [yells] HOOTY STOP!

Just like that the whole house stopped at the edge of the cliffed. Y/n and Luz pulled both Willow and Gus back onto the edge. The four friends let go of their hands and looked at them, not noticing the glow that had disappeared off them.

Gus: How'd we do that?

Y/n: I don't know. Wait. Guys let's hold hands again [holds hands and begins to glow] Whoa!

The house starts to take a couple of steps back away from the edge

Willow: We're controlling it with the power of friendship. Uh, and the moon. Probably the moon.

Gus: This is amazing! What do we do now?

Luz: On the one hand, we should probably stay put.

Gus: On the other hand, we've got a giant walking house and should totally take it on a joyride!

Both Y/n and Luz looked at each other for a bit then looked up at the descending moon then back to each other and nodded.

Luz: Okay, okay, but we gotta be back before the moon sets or Eda will kill us.

Y/n: Worst Luke will.

Both Luz and Y/n shiver if Luke found out they did this they would never hear the end of it. The house begins to walk away from the cliffed as the group goes off and enjoys the ride. Unknown to them a demon hunter sees this and growls and begins to follow our group of friends.

Luke's POV

You ever get those weird chills when you know someone did something wrong and you're going to have a real talk with them later? Yea I'm having those right now I swear to everything if those idiots messed up the house I am going to murrder every single one of them. I continue to make my way to the Blight's house, not going to lie. I think these twins need to work on their directions. I am 100% certain I have passed by a talking mushroom at least three times. Worst part is it responded with 'yes I am' everytime I said out loud 'is that the same mushroom'. Anyway I finally arrived at the Blights house or should I say mansion, got to say they got a nice place.

Me: Got to say I'm impressed.

I approached the door and began to knock on it, as I waited for the door to open I began to ask myself what possessed me to come here? True I think this Mansion is impressive but at the same time it belongs to rich needy stuck ups that I can't stand. Huh that explains why I hate Amity. But it doesn't explain why I don't hate the twins. Just then the door opens and what I see was an… abomination. Ok how do you go from impressive to weird in a matter of seconds. Oh wait Y/n and Luz.

Me: Uhhh I'm here for a conjuring for two twins.

The abomination just groans and goes inside. I'm guessing he wants me to follow him so I did. As I walked in I saw a couple of pictures of the family not going to lie, they looked like a decent happy family. As I continue to watch I notice the pictures look sadder and sadder from every one I pass.

Me: Strange guess the older they got the stricter the parents became. (Guess that's why the twins kept on pulling pranks to keep their happy meteor).

We approached the living room and the abomination turned around and wanted me to stay here… I think. As he walked out I looked around the place, won't lie it's pretty cool in here. I looked around and saw a whole lot of pictures, a shelf filled with knick knacks, and a random orb sitting on a table. What stood out more was the fireplace that showed the whole family.

Me: [looks at it] Hmm well lets see Amity is the one in the middle, the ones beside her are obviously the twins, and the two around them must be the parents. Huh what an interesting family.

?: [beside me] Very observant.

This caused me to yelp and fall to the right on the ground. I groaned and looked up and saw the same brown haired man in the picture. The only problem is he had a lot of abomination goo all over his clothes and person.

Mr. Blight: Sorry about that thought you knew I was there [brings his hand out] Are you alright?

Y/n: [takes his hand as he helps me up] Yea thanks I'm fine. [kept a firm grip on my hand] Uhhh.

Mr. Blight Oh sorry [lets go of my hand] Just never met a human with a strong grip before.

As usual I was about to ask how he knew I was human but then I remembered my ears. How the hell do I keep forgetting that? Without warning I start to feel someone poking my ears, I turn and see Mr. Blight with a curious look on his face doing it. I had to resist all the erug to slap his hand

Me: Uhhh what are you doing?

: [stops poking my ear] Oh sorry they are just so… Circly.

Ok know I see where Edric gets his.. Personality from.

: Oh my apologist I haven't introduced myself [coughs] I am Alador Blight. And you are?

Me: Luke Martins.

Alador: Nice to meet you Luke.

Me: Same to you sir.

The same abomination as before walked in with some tea and handed it to both of us. We both took a cup and drank some.

Me: So I see abominations run the house.

Alador: [scratches his cheek] Well they are my creations after all.

Me: I see that would explain the goo all over you.

Alador: I have been in the basement working on a new project.

Me: (interesting) That also explains your tired face.

Alador: You are very observant aren't you?

Me: Eh, something I picked up when I was a kid.

Alador: I see, are all humans like this?

Me: Depends on the human.

Alador: [rubs his beard] Interesting.

Me: So where is if you don't mind me asking?

Alador: She is down in the basement. She is allowing me a break.

Me: (Allowing? The hell?)

Alador: Believe me I am lucky to get a break nowadays.

Me: (Ok? That's just disturbing.)

Alador: [turns to face me] Now what might I ask are you doing here?

Me: Huh? Oh yea your blight twins invited me here.

There was an awkward silence between us.

Alador: They didn't force you into this did you?

Me: [sighs] No they didn't. I gave my word to the both of them that we would hang out again.

Alador: I see forgive me for saying so you don't seem like the type of person to be friends with them

Me: (Where have I heard that one before?) True but I guess knowing them made me see there is more to them that meets the eye. Can't judge a book by its cover am I right?

Alador: [turns toward the painting] I suppose so.

?: Alador! Break times over!

I am assuming that is Mrs. Blight.

Alador: [sighs] I appreciate getting to know you Luke. Hopefully if you're willing I could learn more about you and study you as well.

Ok, that's not creepy at all.

Me: [sweat drop] Uhh I'll give it some thought.

Alador: [nods his head summons his scroll and calls the twins] Edric, Emira your… friend is here for the conjuring. [hangs up as his scroll vanishes and walks away] Till next time Luke.

Me: Yeeaa see ya later.

Alador: [stops for a moment] I ask you one thing Martins [turns his head] Don't hurt them. [turns back around and walks off]

Ok got to meet the dad that was… Interesting. For the love of everything I hope I don't meet the mother god knows what would happen if I had to deal with a strict mother. I hear a door open and see the two twins walking over to me.

Twins: Luke?

Me: Yea thats me. What's up?

I noticed that they had shook faces which confused me a little.

Me: Uhh you two ok?

Edirc: Huh? Yea. Well its just-

Emira: We're actually shocked you came.

Me: Well I did promise that I would come so here I am.

The twins both smiled and ran up and hugged me.

Me: uhhh ok then.

Edric: [lets go] Come on Luke lets enjoy the night.

Me: Alright then.

We all started to head to their room, but I had a lot on my mind. Like why were they that shocked to see me? Is it really that rare for someone to hang out with them? And the one that takes the cake is why do I have a bad feeling that Y/n and Luz got into a lot of trouble?

3rd POV

The scene cuts back to the owl house walking through the forest. While on the walk Y/n notice someone walking by.

Y/n: Hooty stop!

The house stops walking confusing the others

Luz: Y/n what's wrong?

Y/n: [points] That's what's wrong.

The group turns their head to who Y/n was pointing at and they saw Boscha talking on a crow while holding a duffel bag.

Luz: Is that-

Y/n: [crosses his arms] The girl that made fun of both Gus and Willow? Yes yes that is.

Willow: [narrows her eyes] Boscha.

Boscha: [to the crow] Ugh! Yes, Mom. I'm going to a moonlight conjuring. No, Mom. You can't come. And yes, Mom, it's sad that you're asking.

She lets go of the crow, as it flies away, turns around and notices the owl house that was behind a hill.

Willow: She noticed us. What do we do?

Y/n: [rubs his chin] Oh I have an idea can someone hand me a megaphone.

The scene cuts back to boscha staring at the house, Bosha was about to get a closer look at the house but stopped when she heard a voice.

Y/n: [ghost voice] Youuuu I have seen all the bad things you've doone! Yoou should be more niceerr immediately!

Boscha: [rolls her eyes] Ugh!I A talking house is giving me a lecture? Whatever. I'll just TP you like I did with the rest of the neighborhood.

Y/n: Oooohhh but my dear girl I am no mere house!

The House stands as Y/n roars. Boscha screams and runs away. The other four laugh.

Gus: I've never pranked anyone before. And now I have a taste for it.

Willow: We should follow her to Amity's house to show off our conjuring. That will show her who's got no talent.

Y/n: [sweats] (A little overboard don't you think?) [looks up at the moon] Actually guys maybe we should call it.

Gus: Amity's updating her Penstagram.

Luz: "Shout out to my fellow witches. #Humans can bite it." [gasps] Let's do it.

Y/n: [grabs Luz shoulders] Now hold on maybe she- [hears another bell and looks at the scroll] "Same can be said for a certain filthy dragon slayer."

Unknown to everyone an arrow with the words 'Filthy' hit Y/n in his heart making him fall to the ground.

Y/n: [twitchs] Out of all words why did she have to use filthy!?

Luz: [angry] Ok that tears it nobody makes fun of my Y/n! [realizes what she just said and blushes] I-I mean our friend Y/n hehe.

The only people that heard that was Willow and Gus since Y/n was busy crying on the ground. Gus was just confused and Willow had a sly smirk on her face that made Luz blush more. The group started to hold hands again cheering to get revenge. However they didn't notice that they were being followed by cloak figures.

Luke POV

Currently I'm in the twins room we just finished having a lot of fun pulling pranks outdoors and even pulling pranks on *snorts* mittens. Ha the name will never get old. So right now I'm just sitting on the floor staring at the ceiling as the twins are busy on their scrolls. Probably looking back on all the pictures they took when we were pranking everyone. Eh it's not my business.

Edric: [puts his scroll away] Hey Luke.

Me: [still staring at the ceiling] Yea?

Edric: Well we've been wondering.

Me: About?

The twins just looked at each other then back to me.

Emira: Why do you hang out with us?

This made me stop looking at the ceiling and look at them who had sad expressions on their faces.

Me: Uhh what brought this up?

Edric: Well it's just that not a lot of people tend to stay away from trouble makers so they don't get in trouble either

Emira: And to be honest you look like someone who doesn't like to hang out with trouble makers. So why hang out with us?

Me: (If only you knew who I hang out with.) [sighs] Well if I'm being honest you make life less boring.

Edric: Less boring?

Me: [sits up] Doing the same thing day in and day out gets kind of dull in my opinion 'trouble makers' makes life more fun, sorta speak.

Edric: Ok? But why us?

Me: Why not? True you two gave me, or still give me, an annoying vibe.

Twins: Ouch.

Me: But when I got to know the both of you a little more I noticed you two reminded me of a couple troublemakers that I made back at home.

Emira: Really?

Me: [looks out the window] Yea those two would get into so much trouble and I had to be the one to bail them out. It usually ends up with me getting in trouble. But over time I realized they were just being themselves, they wanted to express themselves in a way. And I get the same vibe with you two. I feel like you both just express yourself and I guess I enjoy and like the way you both do.

There was a moment of silence. Until I started to hear someone crying. I looked and saw Edric with tears in his eyes as I just panicked a bit.

Me: Uhhh you alright there [runs and hugs me] Whoa!

Edirc: [crying] Thank you so much for understanding us!

Me: Uhhh [pats his back] No problem man.

I am really bad at this. I then saw Emira walk beside me and hugged me as well.

Emira: [tears in her eyes] You really do have a way with words.

Me: Uhh thanks?

The twins eventually let go and just smiled at me then Edric suddenly got up.

Edric: I'll be right back. I got to do something real fast.

He exits the room leaving me and Emira by ourselves.

Emira: Thanks for that by the way.

Me: All I did was just speak the truth, that's all.

Emira: [giggles] Well we still appreciate it though.

Me: Yea yea.

Emira starts to do a sly smirk. Oh no the hell does this girl want?

Emira: [gets in my face] Soo about that kiss.

Goddamn it.

Me: [looks away] Again I have no idea what you're talking about.

Emira: [smirks] Uh-huh then why are you blushing?

I really can't stand this girls.

Me: [light blush] Cause you're avoiding my personal space.

Emira: [giggles] Really?

Me: Yes.

Emira: [rubs her cheeks on mine] Does this still count as avoiding your personal space?

Why me?

Me: [blushes] Yes it does. What will it take for you to get off?

Emira: [backs away and thinks] Hmm oh I know. [points to her cheek] A kiss on the cheek.

I what she huh WHAT!?

Me: Can't I give you something else?

Emira: [shakes her head] Nope. Either a kiss or-

Me: You'll avoid my personal space. Ok OK I get it!

Emira: [giggles] Well [turns her head and closes her eyes]

I just sigh. Just get it over with Luke the faster the better. I slowly started to lean in and was about to kiss her cheek until I heard something.

Edirc: Uhh what's going on here?

I froze up and looked at Edric. I was about to explain until

Emira: [opens her eyes] Well Luke here never kissed a girl and I wanted to help him out.

I. Hate. Her. So. Much.

Edric: Oh uhh sorry for interrupting Luke I'll try not to do it again next time.

I just give Emira a cold glare which she responds with a giggle. I just sigh.

Me: So where did you go?

Edric: Oh I just went to the bathroom [rubs his head] guess what you said really got to me.

What I said caused you to use the bathroom? Ok then?

Me: Ok so what do you two want to do [looks out the window] nooooowwwww?

So I'm either going crazy or the twins are making me see an illusion but I'm pretty sure that I'm looking at the owl house from this distance.

Edric: [confused] Uhh Luke you ok?

I broke out of my trance and traced a small circle behind my back which made a shadow close the blinds. The last thing I need is for either of these guys to meet. Oh and for the whole house to panic seeing another house outside.

Me: [sighs] I'm fine just thought I saw something.

Emira: What did you see?

Hmmm a little taste of her own medicine is in order.

Me: An angle [turns to Emira] But there is one right beside me.

This caused her to blush and punch my arm. I just chuckled in response. Aaah payback, one of my favorite things.

Edric: Ok you two what should we do now beside me watching you both flirt.

Emira: [blushes] We weren't.

Edric: Uh-huh sure.

Emira just growls at him as I watch. The only thing that was going through my head right now was did I see an illusion or was that real?

3RD POV

We cut to the owl house walking through the streets of Bonesborough. We see people screaming and running as they try to find cover from the monster house. Soon the group approaches the gate with the sign that says "BLIGHT MANOR".

Willow: Look, Amity's house. Time to show Amity what a real conjuring looks like.

Y/n: (Gees she really wants to prove herself to Amity.) [hears baby dragon growling] Huh? What's wrong boy?

Suddenly the house is stopped by a giant rope that went over the roof and tied it to the ground. This causes a small shake that forces the group to separate.

Willow: What happened?

Luz: Is that a giant crossbow?

Everyone looks to where Luz was pointing and sees a giant crossbow. The demon Hunter gives the signal for the other demon hunter to shoot. As the second demon hunter shots the arrow, it goes over the house and secures the house further. The #1 Demon hunter jumps in front of the kids.

Demon Hunter #1: Knock knock.

Willow, Gus, and Luz all had fear in their eyes, but Y/n took out his sword in a hurry and swung at the demon hunter. The demon hunter was able to take his sword out in time to block but was pushed back by Y/n causing him to fall off. Luckily he was able to flip in the air and land on his feet on the ground.

Y/n: [walks up to the ledge] Sorry but we don't want any. [turns his head] Stay here I'll be back. [jumps off]

Luz: Y/n wait!

Y/n was on the ground staring the demon hunter down.

Y/n: I'm only going to say this once. [holds his sword with one hand aiming at the demon hunter] Leave.

Demon Hunter #1: Sorry kid but when there's a demon running around town we have to get the job done.

Y/n: Alright then don't say I didn't warn you.

Y/n then charged at Demon Hunter #1, Demon Hunter #1 drew a circle creating a bolt of electricity and threw it at Y/n but Y/n was able to jump over it and did a horizatle slash at him. The Demon Hunter blocked it just in time and pushed Y/n back. Y/n did a flip in the air and slid on the ground. Another demon slayer appeared behind him drawing a circle and slamming his hands on the ground. Out of nowhere two giant earth hands appeared and went to attack Y/n, but Y/n being quick cut both of them down fast.

Demon slayer #2: [shocked] But how?

Y/n dashed in front of the demon slayer kicking him towards a tree knocking him out. Two more demon hunters appeared behind him summoning an ice dagger and a regular dagger trying to stab Y/n. Y/n quickly turns away and swings his sword causing the demon hunters to be sent flying.

Y/n: [smirks and looks at demon hunter #1] That all you guys got?

Demon Hunter #1: [grumbles but then smirks] Don't get too cocky, kid.

Y/n: [confused] What are you-

Suddenly another demon hunter appears from under ground and begins to give Y/n a bear hug squeezing him causing Y/n to scream. The group watches this in horror.

Luz: Y/n!

Demon Hunter #1: [walks up to them] Seems like you need to learn not to let down your guard kid. [looks at the other demon Hunter] Make sure he's out cold.

Demon Hunter #5: Yes sir!

The demon Hunter starts to squeeze Y/n harder causing him to scream more… Until Y/n starts to chuckle.

Demon Hunter #1: What? Is getting close to passing out funny?

Y/n: [chuckles] No not really. [eyes glow red] But I have no plans on passing out to people like you.

Suddenly fire starts to appear around Y/n as he begins to yell. The fire causes the Demon hunter #5 to lose his grip on him forcing him to step back. Y/n then quickly turns around summons fire in his right hand and punches the demon Hunter right in the face.

The demon hunter lands on the ground sliding and coming to a complete stop. Demon Hunter #1 watches this and is shocked to see a kid able to beat them.

Demon Hunter #1: (How the hell can a kid be this strong!?) [looks at Y/n] (Wait a minute could he be-)

Y/n: [turns around] Now it's just the two of us.

Y/n puts out his fire and summons his blade ready to fight the demon Hunter. As the demon Hunter looks closely at Y/n's eyes he knows now who he is.

Demon Hunter #1: I see now so that's what you are. You're a dragon slayer aren't you?

Y/n: [holds his blade] Yea what of it?

Demon Hunter #1: Just that your kind is very valuable.

Y/n: Hmph! So what do you think? I'm just going to go with you quietly?

Demon Hunter #1: Yes.

Y/n was confused until he heard something coming behind him as he hurried and blocked it with his sword. Y/n didn't see it at first but as he squinted his eyes he saw a thin needle.

Y/n: (The hell was-) [gets stuck in the neck] Gck!

Y/n hurrys and pulls another needle that was shot at him, out of his neck and throws it on the ground.

Y/n: [turns to Demon Hunter #1] It will take more than a needle to- [suddenly starts to wobble] W-w-what t-t-the…

Demon hunter #1: Paralysis needle. Able to paralyse the most strongest of demons. But this one is specially made, specially for dragon slayers.

Y/n starts to wobble back and forth and ends up dropping his sword on the ground. He slowly starts to make his way toward the demon slayer and goes for a punch, but the demon hunter catches his hand.

Demon Hunter #1: Got to say you are as tough as they come. [Y/n struggles to stay up] But this is over.

The demon Hunter chops Y/n in the back of his neck forcing him to fall on the ground unconscious.

Demon Hunter #1: Now then. [jumps up and lands in front of the kids] Where were we?

The kids watched in fear as baby dragon steps in front of them growling at him.

Demon Hunter #1: Aaah a baby dragon that will be an added bonus [draws a circle of electricity] Now sleep.

The last thing that can be heard is the kids scream and baby dragons yell.

Luke POV

As me and the twins were enjoying ourselves I can't shake the feeling that something wrong is happening right now. Like the others got into a lot of trouble or something.

Emira: You ok Luke?

Me: [breaks out of my thought] Huh? Oh it's just I can't shake this weird feeling.

Edric: What kind of weird feeling?

Me: Like my friends are in trouble.

Edric: [gasp] Wait, you have friends other than us?

Me: Ow.

Edric: [laughs] Just kidding Luke.

Me: [looks out the window] Whatever.

Emira: Well if they're in trouble you should go help them.

Me: [looks at them] But what about-

Edric: We got to hang out with you enough beside it's not like we can't hang out anymore. Right?

Me: [smirks] Right.

Emira: [gets in my face] Besides you did keep your promise to us so go keep your promise to them.

Me: How did-

Emira: Women's intuition.

Of course I start to make my way out the door and give them a wave as they wave at me back. I slowly started to approach the front door of the mansion until I heard Emira's voice.

Emira: Hey Luke wait!

Me: [turns around] What do you want Emi- [gets cut off by Emira kissing my cheek] Uhhh.

Emira: Since you took so long I thought I would be the one to do it. [smirks] Did you not like it?

Me: [turn my head] No comment.

Emira: [giggles] You know I'm going to be waiting for you to do the same to me?

I started to blush a little bit as I grunted in response.

Emira: [smiles] Ok I'll wait. [walks away and winks at me] Bye Mr. Grouchy.

I turn back around and see she dropped something. I look at it and see it was her number. All I did was just turn around and walk outside and process what just happened. There is no way in hell that was her right? No, don't think like that Luke. We both know she was probably just teasing like always… That right that was an illusion of course yea.

Little Demon: You really are going to keep telling yourself that?

Got Damn it I forgot about you.

Little Demon: Well if you're done with your little episode maybe you should check on your friends?

Oh so you care.

Little Demon: Not really. Whether you check or not makes no difference to me. Of course you can stay here and enjoy more moment with your girl-

AND THAT ENOUGH I'M OUT OF HERE! I drew a circle and jumped into my shadow and started using it to dash and find my friends. The last thing I need is for this thing to make fun of me.

Little Demon: Technically us.

Whatever! Just shut up and let me look for them.

3RD POV

Alador had just finished another abomination project he was working on. He was tired and was getting ready to go to bed until he looked out his window to see Luke drawing a spell circle and entering his shadow. Aldador was fascinating and curious of how a human was able to use magic and how he was able to use dark magic as well.

Alador: [rubs his chin] Luke Martins. What kind of creature are you?

The scene changes to the living room inside the owl house. Some time has passed and Luz slowly regains her consciousness as she looks around her surroundings and notices she is tied up with Gus and Willow.

Luz: Guys wake up!

Willow: [starts to wake up] Huh Luz.

Gus: [groans] What happened?

Luz: We've been tied up by those Demon Hunter guys! [looks around] Where is Y/n!?

Gus: [nudges his head] He's over there Luz!

Luz turns her head as best as she could to see Y/n knocked out cold tied up in some rope. Beside him was baby dragon also tied up. Luz also noticed she was in front of the door and started kicking it to get Hooty's attention.

Luz: Hooty! Hooty! You have to wake up.

Hooty: If you want this to end as you say, four of us hold hands. It's the only way.

Luz: ¡Oye, no me hable así! Willow, will you help me out with Hooty?

Willow: I'm sorry, Luz. You shouldn't ask me to help with anything. [looks at Y/n unconscious body] Even Y/n got hurt because of me.

Luz: Willow.

Suddenly the house stops causing the group to scream and roll over on top of the unconscious Y/n.

Luz: Did the house stop moving?

Y/n&Gus: My insides didn't.

Everyone was shocked to hear Y/n's voice.

Luz: Y/n you're awake! How are you feeling!?

Y/n: [weak] Horrible.

Their moment was interrupted when the demon Hunter's came inside the room laughing. Demon Hunter #2 and #3 carries the kids and Demon hunter #1 carries Y/n and baby dragon. They throw all of them on the ground.

Demon Hunter #1: Take the house and rip out the house demon. We can sell it to restaurants as exotic meat.

Luz: No! Hooty would taste terrible.

Y/n: [weak] Agreed.

Hooty: Hey, I'm a refined taste. Hoot! Hoot!

Demon Hunter #3: [points to Y/n] What about the dragon and the dragon slayer?

Demon Hunter #1: Pretty sure the emperor would have a lot of words with the son of igneel.

Y/n just gives him a weak glare.

Demon Hunter #3: Ok what about the worms?

Demon Hunter #1: Throw them over the cliff.

The group all went wide eyed and were terrified of hearing that sentence. Denon Hunter #3 started to drag Luz and the others to the edge of the cliffed as Y/n watched in horror.

Demon Hunter #3: All righty, kids. Here's the end of your short little lives.

Gus: [groans] Wait! Wait! Wait! [turns the group so he's facing the demon hunter] Is this really what you wanna be doing with your life? Tossing kids from cliffs?

Demon Hunter #3: Actually, yes. It's been my dream since I was a boy.

The three just looked at him in pure silence.

Demon Hunter #3: I was a strange child.

He was about to push him until he felt something bite his leg which made him scream in pain.

Demon Hunter #3: What the!? [looks down and sees Y/n biting him] Get off! [kicks Y/n off] Seriously guys nobody saw him!

The demon Hunters just chuckle.

Demon Hunter #2: Oh we saw him, we just didn't want to say anything.

Demon Hunter #1: [walks up to Y/n] Got to say this kid is fighting the paralysis pretty well.

Y/n slowly starts to get up weakly and tries to kick the demon hunter but he catches his foot and tosses him to the ground. The demon hunter walks up and grabs Y/n by the collar.

Demon Hunter #1: Ok kid you did your best trying to be a hero but it's over-

Suddenly Y/n bits the Demon hunter's thumb causing him to scream.

Demon Hunter #1: [runs around with Y/n still biting his thumb] AHHHH! Damn you kid! [swings him around] Let go! Let go! I SAID LET! [slams Y/n on the ground] GO!

Y/n gasp in pain letting go of the Demon Hunter. The Demon Hunter looks at his thumb and notices he is drawing blood as he stares at Y/n with anger. He grabs Y/n by the back of the collar and starts walking towards the edge of the cliff.

Demon Hunter #4: Uhh boss what are you-

Demon Hunter #1: [angry] We already got the baby dragon, the kid is no use to us!

Demon Hunter #3 You sure you aren't just mad that he [stops when he sees demon Hunter #1 glaring at him] Right never mind.

Demon Hunter #1: [looks at Y/n] You could have made this easy kid but instead you made it hard. If that's the way you want to play it, fine. [throws Y/n over the cliff] Have a nice swim!

Luz: [horrified] Y/N!

Y/n is slowly falling off the cliff until. Splash! He lands inside the water with the rope still around him as he slowly sinks to the bottom of the water.

Luz: [tears] No Y/n.

Demon Hunter #1: Don't worry you'll be joining him very soon.

Demon Hunter #3: Hey boss, can I push them?

Demon Hunter #1: [sighs and walks away] Knock yourself out.

Demon Hunter #3: Yay! [pushes them off as they scream] Whee! Hahaha!

Luke's POV

I was in my shadow dashing to try to find my friends. Come on! Come on! Why is it so hard to sense their magic!? No calm down, getting frustrated won't help. I need to concentrate. I slowly closed my eyes and tried to feel their magic energy. Eventually I found it but what worried me the most is that Y/n energy was weak and getting weaker. I started to dash into the direction of where I felt their magic energy. Eventually I made it to them, I exited my shadow and hid behind a tree. I started to feel the darkness slowly growing around my body.

Me: Damn it I thought for sure the light of the moon would help.

Little Demon: Uh-oh your little plan didn't work out?

Me: Shut it.

I looked around the tree to see everyone all tied up by the demon hunters. I also say that the house was… Alive. Ok what I saw wasn't an illusion. The only question on my mind is what can I do to help them?

Little Demon: Uhh use the darkness?

Me: No.

Little Demon: Why not?

Me: Because that risks you taking control and killing them.

Little Demon: And that's a problem because? They are trying to kill your friends so the appropriate thing to do is kill them back right.

Me: Hell no I'm not going to kill insient people for your sick entertainment!

Little Demon: I see would you say the same thing if you saw Y/n getting thrown off the cliff.

Me: What!?

I turned back around and saw Y/n being thrown off the edge of the clift slowly falling down. Just then Y/n was replaced with a little girl which made my heart sank.

?: Why Luke? Why didn't you save me?

Little Demon: Yet another person [smiles] You could have saved.

Suddenly my heart started to beat fast as I gripped my chest as darkness was slowly consuming my body.

Little Demon: Don't hold it in Luke. Let the darkness in heart run free. Give them what they deserve. Death.

Slowly my consciousness started to fade as my body began to transform into that demon form as before.

Little Demon: [smiles] What more do you have to lose?

After he said that I started to remember the people that were still with me. Eda, King, Gus, Luz, Edric. Willow and Emira. All of them are still with me now.

Me: [pulls out a light glyph] Plenty. [taps it as light starts to make the darkness fade]

I put the little light under my shirt, then I turned my head to see my friends about to get pushed off the clift. I still can't fight these guys without risk of losing control but I can still save my friends. I rushed towards the other edge of the clift avoiding the Hunter's view. As I ran on the walls I noticed a tree branch and grabbed it with my left hand. I looked up and saw the other slowly falling towards me as I caught the rope in my right hand.

Gus: Wait what happened?

Me: Uhh [thes others look up at me] Hello there.

3RD POV

Gus&Luz: Luke!

Luke: Hey guys whats up?

Luz: Where did you come from!?

Luke: Lets just say I had a bad feeling [narrows his eyes at Luz]

Luz just chuckles nervously.

Luke: [sighs] Well I hope you guys got some ideas because I don't think this tree branch is going to last much longer. [sees the tree starting to break]

Luz: If we're not killed now, we will be when Eda finds out about the house.

Luke: [deadpan look] Really Luz?

Willow: [sad] Guys I'm sorry because of me the house has been capture, we are danging from the edge of the clift and Y/n he's [shuts her eyes as tears start to fall].

Everyone stops and looks at Willow.

Luke: It's not your fault Willow.

Willow: Yes it is. They wanted to turn back but I wanted to prove myself to Amity.

Luke: [confused] Wait Amity? Why?

Willow: [sighs and looks down] The truth is me and her were friends.

Both Luke and Luz were shocked by what they heard.

Willow: We played together as kids, but when she got her magical powers and I didn't, she stopped hanging out with me.

Luke: (Strange why the hell would she-) [remembers Amity's parents] (Could they have-)

Gus: Guys, is now the best time for this!?

Willow: [sighs] I just wanted to prove to her that I was a powerful witch too.

Luke: You are a powerful witch. [Willow looks up at Luke] You have people like us that already know that you are. You don't need a stuck up brat like Amity to see that.

Luz: Luke is right Willow. You helped bring a house to life. Amity doesn't know what she's talking about. beside Eda, Luke, and Y/n you are the most powerful witch I know. No offense, Gus.

Gus: It's cool I know what I'm about.

Willow: [smiles and blushes] Thanks guys.

Luke: [smirks] No problem little flower

Willow blushes even red when Luke says that. The moment was broken when the branch started to crack even more.

Gus: The branch won't hold much longer.

Willow: [sees a root and slides her arm out] Luke can you give a boast to that root?

Luke: Sure.

Luke starts swinging Willow closer to the root. She grabs the root, as soon as she grabs it her hand starts to glow. The scene then changes back to the Demon hunters as they are talking.

Demon Hunter #3: Yeah, they tried to fight back and they nearly got me. But you know, I handled it.

Demon Hunter #1: They were children Tom.

Demon Hunter #3: Hey didn't you have problems with a child.

The demon hunter was about to respond but was cut off from a shadow looming over them. They saw a whole lot of thorny vines around them, but what they noticed the most was the kids were standing on top of a giant leaf. Willow moves one of the vines to cut her and the others free.

Willow: We may be children, but we're also witches. Powerful ones.

She sets the plant to attack. It flings Tom into the distance. Demon Hunter #1 pulls a sword and slices off the tip of one of the vines. A three-eyed witch tries to hit a vine with an axe, but misses. The vine grabs their ankle and flings them into a pile of rubble. Willow, Luz, Luke, and Gus run to the House while the plant is busy with the other demon hunters. They all get on top of the ledge of the house.

Luz: Guys quick! [holds out her hand] We have to hurry!

Luz, Willow, and Gus start to hold hands but nothing happens.

Gus: What's going on!? How come nothing's happening!?

Willow: I don't know! [reliezes] Wait Y/n! We don't have Y/n!

Before anything else can be said the demon hunter started making his way towards the others. Luke sees this and was about to fight but noticed the light glyph was slowly vanishing meaning if he used any more dark power then he would lose control.

Luke: (Damn it this is bad! What the hell can we do!?)

Demon Hunter #1: Do you kids really think you can defeat me!? I am a demon hunter!

The others were getting ready to fight until they heard a voice in the sky.

?: Oh yea!

Just then Y/n appeared from the sky right in front of them, shocking everyone.

Luz: Y/n!

Y/n: Well I'm a dragon slayer!

Demon Hunter #1: H-h-how you should be dead!?

Y/n: [smirks] Well too bad I'm alive! [deep inhales] Now eat this! Fire Dragon roar!

The fire hits the demon slayer burning him and the vines that were behind him turning everything, but the demon slayer's into ashes.

Y/n: [rubs the back of his head] I think I'm getting better at this.

Suddenly Y/n feels someone hugging him from behind. He turns around and sees a crying Luz.

Luz: [tears falling] I was so scared I thought I lost you again.

Y/n: [smiles and hugs her back] Don't worry I'm still here Luz.

Luke: [walks up and rubs both their heads] Glad to see you alive Y/n.

Y/n: hehe yea thanks Luke [realize] Wait Luke what are you-

Luke: Let's talk about that later first let's get the house back to where it belongs.

Everyone nodded their heads and head into the house. The four friends start to hold hands and begin to control the house, sending it back to its original location.

The demon Hunter #3: [hurting] Just kids by the way!

Luke was on the couch watching, with baby dragon on his lap, surrounded by light, amazed by how they did it.

Luke: [lifts up his sleeve and notices the darkness disappearing] *sigh* At least I didn't lose control this time.

Little Demon: Aww and I really wanted to have some fun.

Luke: (Like hell I let you out. Once you were done with the demon hunters you were going to kill the others weren't you.)

Little Demon: Hehehe Who knows?

Luke just grunts in response.

Little Demon: But I do know this you can't keep me locked away forever Luke. Eventually I will take control and then well we'll see.

Luke: I'll be ready.

Little Demon: Hehehe again we'll see.

Eventually the demon's voice disappears and Luke is back to just sitting on the couch looking at all the light orbs.

Luke: (I wonder how long these orbs can keep me in check?) [closes his eyes] (I guess that's for time to find out.)

Soon the house makes it back to its usual spot, as it stands above it, it slowly sits down fitting right back into its spot.

Luz: [opens one eye] Did we do it?

Luke: [looks out the window] Yea you guys did where back.

Hooty: [opens door] Is the room spinning or is it just me? [chuckles] Ah. Just a little house humor. Ooh.

Luke: [smirks] Of course you would say that Hooty.

Hooty: [smiles] Hoot! Hoot! You smiled at my jokes, we're getting closer aren't we?

Everyone starts to giggle as Luke just looks away.

Luke: Let's not get crazy.

Luz: Sorry about all that, Hooty.

Hooty: It's okay. I'm just glad I was included.

Suddenly the door closed revealing Eda and KIng causing everyone to panic.

Luke: [points to the door and Eda] How did you-

Eda: You three are so busted.

Y/n&Luz: Oh man.

Luke walks beside Y/n.

Eda: [walks up to the three] You had a moonlight conjuring.

Y/n&Luz: We did.

Eda: And you animated my house. My house!

Y/n&Luz: [hold each other in fear] Yes.

Luke: [Walks between them] Don't blame them Eda I was in charge so I'll take the responsibility.

Before Eda could say anything, both Willow and Gus walk in front of Eda.

Willow: Wait, we were also reasonable to. Were the ones that pushed them into doing the conjuring.

Gus: If you're gonna eat me just do it now. Do it now!

Luke: [sweat drop] Uh Gus I don't think she is going to eat you.

Y/n: Guess you don't have to do this.

Willow: [looks at Y/n] Yes Y/n we do [smiles at him]

Eda: Well, you're all guilty, so you'll all be punished by cleaning my house top to bottom.

Eda summons a bunch of cleaning supplies in the air making the kids catch them just in time. She walks right past them, but she then stops and turns back around.

Eda: And another thing… That was totally amazing. And I'm so joining you for next year's conjuring. Now get to work.

The kids all start to clean one part of the house as Eda lays on the couch while King struggles to take off the suit with baby dragon sleeping beside him.

King: [stops trying to take it off] Can't believe they animated a whole house.

Eda: Yeah. You're right. That takes some powerful magic. [looks at the kids] (I wonder how strong they'll be.) [lays back down on the couch]

Luz: You know, I still kinda wish we got to show up, Amity.

Willow: Yeah. Too bad no one will know of our daring adventures.

Luke: Oh I have a feeling that someone is going to find out.

Timeskip

The others had finished cleaning the house and Willow and Gus were getting ready to go home. Gus had already gone on ahead as Willow was giving her final goodbyes to the others. The scene changes to Luke walking outside and looking at the moon. He was enjoying the nice breeze until he heard someone.

Willow: Hey Luke.

Luke: [turns around] Oh hey Willow.

Willow: What are you doing outside?

Luke: [shrugs his shoulders] Just enjoy the moonlight.

Willow: [giggles] I see.

Luke: Want me to walk you home.

Willow: [blushes and holds her hands up] O-oh no I can walk by m-myself.

Luke: [shrugs his shoulder] Alright then [turns around and waves his hands] Stay safe little flower.

Willow looks at Luke walking back inside but grabs his sleeve stopping him dead in his tracks. Luke turns and looks to see a blushing Willow with her hair covering her face.

Willow: [stuttering] B-b-but can y-y-you walk a l-l-little with me?

Luke: Uhh so you want me to walk you a little bit back home.

Willow: [Throws her hands around while blushing] I-I-I mean you c-c-can refuse if y-y-you want I won't f-f-force you-

Luke: [chuckles] Calm down little flower I was just making sure.

Willow stops and looks away blushing.

Luke: Come on, I'll walk with you.

Willow: O-o-ok.

The two of them begin to walk away from the owl house a little bit. Willow looked down with a huge blush on her face trying to find some kind of conversation.

Willow: H-hey Luke.

Luke: Hm?

Willow: A-about what y-you said of me being a powerful witch [looks at Luke] D-did you mean that.

Luke: [nods his head] Yea. In my opinion you are one of the most powerful witches I know {Eda sneezes} [looks at Willow] Your strong Willow don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Willow stops walking and just looks down.

Willow: B-but I almost lost-

Luke: Y/n I know Luz told me. (More like I saw.) Having strength and not being able to save anyone with that strength hurts. But that doesn't mean you give up. [Willow looks at Luke] For me it means to just try hard [squeezes his hand] So you don't lose that person or anyone ever again.

Willow: Luke. [hugs Luke] Thank you that means so much.

Luke: [hugs her back] Anytime.

Willow looks up at Luke and does something that shocked them both and she kisses him on the cheek. This caused Luke to lightly blush as he felt her soft lips on his cheek. As soon as Willow realized what she did she did.

Willow: [pulls away and blushes bright red] I-I-I-I-I don't know what c-c-came over me I-I-I-I just I got to go!

Willow then runs off and disappears into the night while Luke just touches his cheek and starts walking back to the house with two thoughts on his mind: 1. Two girls just kissed him in the span of one night and 2.

Luke: (There are illusions, I wonder if there are plant clones in this world.)

Meanwhile back at the owl house Y/n was sleeping with baby dragon on his stomach sleeping as well, while Luz was watching from a distance.

Luz: [walks over to the sleeping Y/n] Again once again I almost lost you without telling you how I feel. [kneels down beside him] *sigh* I don't know why I can't bring myself to tell you how I feel. Is it really fear holding me back or is it something else?

Luz starts to remember what Luke told her.

Luke: I can't tell you when and where you should confess to him but I want you to ask yourself. Do you want to take the risk and tell the person how you feel? Or continue to hold on to the feelings living in regret and wishing for something you could have had?

Luz: Maybe I want to know what you would choose. [kisses Y/n forehead and starts to head out] Sleep tight my dragon prince.

Luz walks out going back to her room. Suddenly Zack appeared beside Y/n looking down at him.

Zack: [sighs] She really does care about you. [looks at Y/n] And you care about her. The question remains which one of you will make the first move? [looks out the window] And the other question is what move are you playing?

Flashback

Y/n was currently sinking at the bottom of the ocean unable to move due to the paralysis and the ropes around him. He was slowly losing consciousness and was struggling to break free. Eventually he used up all his strength and closed his eyes as he went unconscious. Without him knowing the keychain in his pocket began to glow and Zack appeared. What was different about him is he wasn't see through anymore and he was also having trouble breathing cause he was drowning.

Zack: [underwater] wat teh!?

Luckily for the both of them Zack was a good swimmer so he got Y/n and swam them both to shore. Zack was coughing up a storm as he laid Y/n on the ground.

Zack: *cough* What *cough* the hell!? *cough* I could have *cough* sworn *cough cough* that I was a spirit.

As soon as Zack was done coughing he stopped and think about how this happened. He then remembers that the keychain was glowing when they did the conjuring.

Zack: [claps his hands together] Ohhhh that's what happened. Not only you guys brought the house to life but you brought my spirit to laugh as well. [sees his body slowly disappearing] Guess there is a limit to how long I can stay alive huh? [looks at Y/n] Wish you were awake for this.

Zack free's Y/n from the rooms and casts a cure spell to help him with the paralysis and starts to rub Y/n's head.

Zack: [stands up] And I know you've been watching us for a while so you can come out now.

There was silence at first, but then there was a sound of footsteps approaching Zack and Y/n. Zack turns around and sees someone from the emperor's covent approaching them. This person was wearing an ivory hooded cloak, with a golden triangle clasp like other members of the Emperor's Coven. Under the cloak is a golden-yellow tunic with darker sleeves and a dark brown belt, black leggings, dark brown gloves, and boots. What stood out the most was the mask he was wearing. It was a golden dragon mask with a thin slot aroused from it. It had two long horns reaching inside his hood.

Zack: So I'm guessing your here for Y/n.

There was silence as the man just stared at Zack.

Zack: Right now the kid's unconscious but if you want to fight [gets into a battle stance] I'll fight.

The man just stares at Zack as they both stare at each other with the only sound is the wind blowing. They both start to hear Y/n groan, letting them know he was about to wake up. The man turns around and walks away.

Zack: Hey wai-

Before Zack could finish fire appeared around the man as it started to disappear along with the man as well.

Zack: [sighs] He got away. [looks at Y/n] You are going to have a lot of trouble in the future. [slowly disappears into the keychain] But keep your head high. I believe in you Y/n.

After that Zack disappears and Y/n starts to sit up. He groans and rubs his head.

Y/n: What happened? [starts to remember the events] Oh right that guy through me [confused] But how did I get here? [gets up] Well I'll figure that out later right now I need to get back to the others. I guess I could try this one thing I've been working on. [draws a circle as fire wings start to appear behind him] Ok here goes NOOOOTTTTTHHHHHIIIINNNNG!

Y/n launched himself into the air as he was trying to regain control. After a little bit of flying he started to get the hang of it.

Y/n: Ok ok I think I got it! [looks down and sees the demon hunter approaching his friends] Alright let's end this!

Y/n makes his fire wings disappear as he falls down to the others.

Flashback Over

Zack: [looks at Y/n] Be ready Y/n [slowly fades away] Something tells me things are about to get rough.

The scene changes with the same person that Zack was talking with was looking at the Owl house.

Flashback

We are in the emperor's throne room. The room itself is lit only by two giant torches from behind the throne. Atop the throne is a gargantuan, pulsing heart. When Belos is in the room, he is flanked by members of his Coven for protection. Running inside was Kikimora.

Kikimora: My ledge I have news.

The person Kikimora was talking to was the emperor himself. He wears a mask with two long upward-facing horns. His eyes are hollow through the mask, creating the appearance of having empty eye sockets. He wears a large white and brown cape with gold trim. This is Emperor Belos.

Belos: Whatever you have better be important Kikimora.

Kikimora: Y-yes my emperor. I just received word from Lilith that the son of Igneel is in the Boiling Isle.

There was a moment of silence for a bit then everyone that was in the room started murmuring.

Belos: Silence. [the whole room went quiet] Is what you said true kikimora?

Kikimora: Y-yes my ledge. She says he lives with the Owl lady.

The same dragon mask guard who was in front of the emperor began to make his way towards the exit in hope of seeing this son of Igneel.

Belos: Hold it. [stops in his tracks] I haven't given any orders [Belos eyes glow blue] Have I?

This caused the mask dragon to turn around and kneel before Belos.

Belos: But I can see how something like this concerns you. [eyes stop glowing] I want you to watch the boy and if he has potential I want you to bring him to me.

Kikimora: B-but my ledge-

Belos: And if he doesn't or if he plans to be a nuisance [eyes glow blue] Kill. Him.

The words Kill Him came out cold and murderous. The mask guard stood up and nodded his head and exited the room.

Flashback over

After remembering what he was assigned to do the mask man disappears into the night waiting to see if the Y/n has any potential he can offer to the emperor. However the only thing this person wants is Y/n dead by his feet.

Timeskip Daylight

The scene changes to Amity's room with all the girls in the circle with disappointments on their faces. Reason because they all failed to bring a doll to life.

Boscha: Ugh. So what if we couldn't move a doll. Now we have time for what really matters. Penstagram.

The girls summoned their scrolls and started scrolling on their Penstagram page. Meanwhile a lonely green haired girl was busy brooding out her window. True Amity was mad that her conjuring wasn't a success but what was really on her mind was the dragon slayer Y/n. Even though she lost to him she still couldn't get the words he said out of her mind.

Y/n: I think you're pretty cool Amity and if you want I want to help you with your dream.

Amity: [shocked] W-what? Why?

Y/n: [eyes go back to normal] Because I feel like we will both become stronger and learn more about each other. [holds his hand out and smiles] What do you say?

She lightly blushes remembering it. Those words echo through her mind, with that same smile on his face as well. The questions that was going through her mind was: Why does he want to help her so badly? Is what he said true or is it some kind of alternative motive? Amity was broken out of her thoughts when she heard Bosha gasp. She walks over and looks at Bosha scroll and was just as shocked as she was at what she saw. Her Penstagram feed has several people's posts showing off Willow, Luz, Gus, Y/n, and the animated Owl House. Amity and Boscha share a look.
